A/N: DISCLAIMER: Heavy Sexual References, Supernatural Themes. Cas and Dean's 'first date'. It might not be the best thing in the world, but for this particular story, in this particular time... Chapter One: The First 'Official' Date

November 20th, 2017

The Bunker

Lebanon, Kansas

Mid-Afternoon

It was weird seeing Cas in casual clothing. Don't get him wrong, Dean really likes the Angel's new style when they're not hunting, but it's an adjustment. Sam had introduced his boyfriend to sweatpants, and Cas (when he had gone shopping with Jack and Mary the other day) had brought some, proud of himself for being able to 'pull them off'. Dean hadn't expected to have a reaction to Cas' new style of clothing, but he did… he found himself aroused, and had given himself a hand job in the shower, with the image of Cas in his mind. He felt awful about it, but he couldn't help it. They haven't really gone past the whole 'making out' stage of their relationship. The furthest they've gotten, is both without their shirts on. Dean had promised Cas he would take him out on a date before they have sex… but he had mostly done that for himself, to try and work himself up to that point in their relationship. The point of no return… he had told himself. Once he and Cas cross that line, there is no going back. Their friendship would inevitably be beyond repair if their relationship doesn't work out, and Dean doesn't know if he's ready to take that step… to put their friendship… their relationship… on the line. He knows that he loves Cas, and don't get him wrong he wants Cas, in more ways than one… needs him even… but he's afraid. It's not like he can talk to Sam about it, because Sam doesn't know about their relationship, and if he did… well Dean doesn't know how his brother would react, he doesn't know how his mother or Jack, or Claire would react either. But he can't think about that right now. He is planning his and Cas' first date, and to do that, he has to sneak around and lie to Sam. The one person that he can't lie to though, is The Angel. Cas is wearing blue denim jeans, and a t-shirt with a pattern on it, which is just causal enough to be right. Currently, that Angel is trying to get out of Dean where they're going for their date. Now Dean Winchester, he may have survived hell, but that torture was nothing like this. Cas is sitting in his lap on a chair in the library, kissing him, down his chin, across his neck, under his ear, hitting the pulse point, and making Dean's eyes roll back in his head. He's so close… so close… to giving Cas the information, but at the last second, he is able to pull himself together, when Jack enters the library, cheerfully greeting them, as if he hadn't just walked in on Cas sitting on Dean. The Angel was quick to move to his own chair, picking up a book.

Dean sighed, looking over at Cas, who just smiled at him, asking Jack what was going on. The young Nephilim just cheerfully explained that Sam and Mary may have found them a case, which Dean wasn't happy about, but nodded. It turns out, that the case wasn't really a case, just a gathering that Sam and Mary had been invited to, but not Dean. The older Winchester brother was slightly offended and confused, but then shrugged, telling Sam and Mary to 'have a good time', whilst he walked off, grinning to himself that he could now go out on his date with Cas without prying eyes, and questions. That is why, later in the day, he found his boyfriend in the Den (living room) watching some silly movie, that included two people dating in it. When he saw Dean approaching, Cas quickly changed the channel, which wasn't a good idea, because that just made it the triple x channel. Dean raised an eyebrow, smirking at his boyfriend, who decided to just turn the TV off, whilst Dean sat down beside him, grabbing the remote, and flicking the TV back to Netflix. He's going to finish watching The Office US with Cas, if it kills him, and this is one show that Cas seems to understand and enjoy. Unbeknownst to the Angel, Dean had organised their date for tomorrow night, when Sam, Mary and Jack are out of the Bunker. They had been invited by an old friend of Mary's, Titus Weller, to a party in Wyoming. Dean, apparently the Black Sheep of the Winchester Family, hadn't been invited, and it hadn't surprised Mary when her eldest son acted so nonchalantly about it, because she knew that he was planning a date with Castiel. So, she didn't bother to bring it up, but she will be bringing up Dean not being invited to the party with Titus. Sam had heard from his mother that Dean won't be joining them, he's going to use the time off to take Cas on a date… their first official date. Before that moment, Sam had just suspected that his brother and Cas were together but now… his mother has confirmed it. Sam kind of knows why Dean didn't tell him, but also… why didn't Dean tell me? Sam thought to himself, as he saw his brother talk to Jack in the library, the Nephilim looked to be explaining something to him, and then taking a book from Dean who smiled… then winked at Castiel… OH MY GOD! He would wait for Dean to come and tell him. He knows how hard that is going to be for his brother to admit, but he will wait. A decent amount of time, then he'll just maybe drop the fact that he knows about their relationship to him in conversation and see how he reacts, because right now, Sam just wants to jump up and down, cheering loudly, and throw his brother a friggen party. But he doesn't. Not yet.

'Okay, please drive carefully Mom,' Dean said, as they prepared to leave, Dean walked with them to the garage, they would all fit into Mary's little blue car

'I always do Dean. Don't worry about me, just have a nice time on your date with Cas,' she replied, kissing his cheek, missing the look on his face, whilst Sam just grinned at him

'Come on, did you really think I didn't know Dean? I want to shout it from the roof, throw you a friggen party… just don't… be afraid. Okay?' Sam said, hugging his big brother who smiled

'Thanks Sam, and yes. Cas and I are together. I'm taking him on a date. But you get no details, and neither does Mom, because you can't keep secrets. Either of you. Go on now, you're going to be late,' Dean said, shooing them off, a smirking Mary in the front seat as she pulled out of the garage.

Silvers Bar and Restaurant

Lebanon, Kansas

Evening

Silvers is a relatively new restaurant in Lebanon, but the few times that Dean had driven past it, it looked nice. So, he dressed himself up in a black button-down shirt, and some dark wash jeans, and he styled his hair, before taking a couple of deep breaths in the mirror of his bedroom in the Bunker, and then exiting to find go pick up Cas. The Angel had suggested that Dean 'pick him up' from a motel as if it were a 'real date' and the cute blush on the Angels' face made Dean kiss his cheek and go along with it, because who is he to deny Cas anything? So, as he locked up the Bunker, and got in the Impala, Dean began to get nervous. He's never really done the whole 'date' thing, so this has to go well for him, he needs it to be perfect. For Cas of course. As he pulled up to the motel, his breathing began to get staggered, and he was on the verge of a panic attack. Getting out of the car, Dean slowly headed towards room number 17, taking a deep breath, before knocking on the door. It was only about a minute, then the locks were jangled, and the door was opened to reveal Castiel, dressed in a navy shirt, with black suit pants, and a tie. He had done his hair as well. Dean was gaping, whilst all the blood in his body was rushing down south, and he struggled to control his impulse to just push Cas into the room and have sex with him. Dean grabbed Cas' bag, throwing it into the trunk, opening the passenger door for Cas, who blushed and whispered 'thanks', before running around to get in the car, and driving back into town for their reservations. It wasn't awkward. Not in the traditional sense of the word. But Dean did feel like all of the pressure was going to ruin the moment, so he closed his eyes and took a deep breath, and when he opened them again, saw Cas just watching him, his blue eyes shining from the ambiance inside the restaurant. Dean had called here, to make sure that they catered to all lifestyles, and the woman he had spoken to, confirmed that they did. When they arrived to check in, she led them over to a table, near a window, at the back of the restaurant. Cas pulled Dean's chair out for him, and it was the Hunter's turn to blush. They both sat, and Dean grabbed the drinks menu, asking Cas what he wanted. He himself was considering not getting a beer, but then Cas ordered one, so Dean did as well. Their conversation went to the case that Mary, Sam, and Jack were working on.

When their waitress brought out their food, Cas thanked the young woman, smiling at her before she smiled and left them to eat. Cas had ordered something, just so that he wouldn't look strange, but it was just a salad, and a burger. Dean smirked at him as he twirled his fork around in the food, and the Angel just raised an eyebrow at Dean, before seductively licking the dressing off the fork, making Dean's eyes widen, and his mouth gape, and sent a lot of blood rushing down south, as he shifted in his seat. Cas had never really teased anyone before, let alone Dean Winchester. But he had read about seductive techniques, and he had seen all these kinds of things in different movies and TV Shows. For the most part, Dean was impressed, then he was aroused, and then he was panicking because he didn't want to be aroused in the middle of a crowded restaurant, on his first date with Cas. Sensing that Dean was uncomfortable, Cas stabbed a piece of lettuce with the fork (quite forcefully) and quickly ate it, looking around to make sure that no one was looking at them. They ate in silence for a moment, each of them sharing little looks at each other, with blushes filling their cheeks. Dean was the first to speak, telling Cas that he's 'not mad, he's just… aroused'. This time, the Angel's eyes widened when Dean had said that, and it was the Hunter's turn to smirk. After that, their conversation turned back to normal, both having silently expressed their desires to keep their personal life out of the public, and it's quite loud in this place, Dean doesn't want to be shouting at Cas across the table. The Angel did tell him some stories about when he was a 'fledgling angel', and how Gabriel used to be the brother that he looked up to, the Archangel guiding him through his powers, as he grew to become just an Angel. Dean noticed a kind of wanton look on Cas' face, like he missed his brother, and to lighten the mood, told Castiel about some of the silly things that he and Sam did when they were young kids, in between John dragging them around the country, and hunting things. Dean found himself telling Cas stories that he's never told anyone else… not even Sam. The Angel just listened, intrigued at the whole thing, and smirking when Dean told a story about how Sam had embarrassed him this one time when he was a teenager.

'You and Sam sound like you had a good childhood, apart from hunting of course. I envy your relationship with Sam sometimes. I wish I'd had the chance to have that kind of relationship with Gabriel, or one of my other brothers,' Cas said, as Dean's phone pinged with a message

'Cas I'm sorry you never got to have that with Gabriel. If you want, you can be Sam's brother? I'm auctioning him off…' Dean said, jokingly grinning

'I appreciate the sentiment Dean, but I don't want to take your brother from you. I would never dream of splitting up the Winchesters,' Cas replied, as Dean's phone pinged again

'I love you,' Dean whispered across the table, blushing when Cas replied with 'I love you too' and took his hand.

The Bunker

Lebanon, Kansas

Morning

Last night, Dean and Cas had returned to the Bunker after their date, and Dean had walked Cas to his bedroom, pressed him against the door, and kissed him. It was an amazing kiss. Cas wrapped his arms around Dean's neck, and The Hunter's went around the Angel's waist, holding him close, as they explored the others mouth. The moan that Cas let out was the breaking point, and both breathless, they bade each other goodnight, Castiel blushing as he stepped into his room, closing the door. When Dean got to his own room, he sat down on his bed, and must have eventually fallen asleep, because it's currently 10 am. Plodding out of his room, Dean headed towards the kitchen, where he found Cas, washing dishes. Dean wrapped his arms around Cas from behind, pressing kisses against his neck, until Cas turned his head to kiss his lips. Then coffee called to the Hunter, who shuffled over to get one, eyes never leaving Cas as he moved around the kitchen, putting things away. Dean didn't realise that he was staring so intently, until he heard Cas clear his throat, a smirk on his face, eyebrow raised. It was such a human thing. In their conversations last night, Cas had explained that since coming back from the Empty, he's been feeling things more and more. It had worried the Hunter because Cas without his powers is just… he's not useless, never. But Dean would worry about him being human again. He didn't do so well the first time he was human either. The again, Dean was also a dick, but he was trying to save Sam, and Cas had long ago forgiven him for all of that. There has been a lot of speculation going around, that a new big bad is coming, but Dean hasn't heard any chatter, and he's even spoken to Garth, Jody, and Claire. None of them have heard anything. Since they trapped Lucifer in the Alternate World, things have been relatively quiet, just a few hunts here and there, and nothing overtly powerful. Then again, that could also be a sign that something big is coming, and all the demons are running scared. Dean is lost in his train of thought… until Cas kisses him, and he loses all his thoughts, putting his coffee down to fully embrace the Angel, wrap his arms around Cas, hold him close. Positions shift, and Dean presses Castiel back against the wall of the kitchen, his hands run down the Angel's torso, sending shivers through Cas' body, causing him to break the kiss, and moan.

They continue to make out against the wall, until Dean's cell phone starts ringing, and he reluctantly parts from Cas to answer it, after seeing that it was Sam. His brother makes a joke, about him and Cas being alone in the Bunker together, and how they 'better not have sex in his bed', to which Dean scoffs, and tries to make a joke, but it doesn't land, and he ends up listening to Sam's diatribe about 'not being afraid', and 'not taking anything for granted'. In a part of Dean Winchester's mind, he hears his brother, and he knows that it's true. He feels amazing when he's pressed against Castiel. He feels amazing when Cas is touching him or kissing him. But they're taking it slow, and he doesn't care what anyone else thinks about that. Sam changes the topic to their case, and Dean puts his phone on speaker, as he and Cas head into the library to grab some books. Mary chimes in from the background, explaining that they're chasing something that could be a Chalupa, but it's demonstrating the behaviours of a werewolf. It's strange, because a Chalupa is a spirit, so when Dean tells this to his mother, she immediately tells Dean what book to grab from the library. Cas just watches his boyfriend flip through the pages, until he comes to a particular one… A Gaskin… Dean explains what it is, which doesn't surprise Sam, but does surprise Mary. She listens to the explanations from her sons, and then Jack asks how they kill it from somewhere distant in the background. Dean runs his finger down the page, but only finds that it hates bright light. Jack spouts up with an idea, that he could blind it using his powers until it implodes, but no one likes that idea, except for Sam, who thinks it 'could work'. The conversation switches again, and Dean is pretty much just listening to them talking, his mind and eyes focussed on Cas, who looks like he's struggling to remain awake. Moving over to the Angel slowly, Cas looks up at him, a quick grimace, then he collapses into Dean, head lolling, whilst the Hunter tries to wake him up, calling for Sam to help him somehow. Somewhere, Sam shouts to Dean that he's 'calling Rowena' but he doesn't hear it, too busy trying to wake Cas up. He needs an Angel's help, not the help of a witch. But at this point, he'll take what he can get, and carries Cas to his room, lying him on the bed, before sprinting back to get his phone, hearing Sam still talking, asking questions. Of course, his brother had taken the main book that the Men of Letters had about Angels with him in his bag, so he can't even speed research. He hears Jack asking if he should come back… then the line goes Dead. Sam texts later, saying that his phone ran out of charge, but Dean just rolls his eyes. Rowena's arrival isn't dramatic, not like normal, but he hurries the witch to his room, asking her to help fix Cas.

'I can feel… there is an energy just radiating off him. You said he just collapsed?' Rowena asked, and Dean nodded

'He didn't even say anything. It was like his legs just gave out. He mentioned that since he came back from The Empty, that he's been feeling more Human… could something be wrong with his grace?' Dean asked, and Rowena could feel the love that these two shared for each other

'He's weak. Dean, if we're going to save Castiel, then we need to work together. We need to contact an Archangel,' Rowena said

'Oh sure. Which one would you like? The Dead one, the Dead one, or the Banished one?' Dean replied, throwing his hands up in the air, pacing around his small room

Early Evening

Rowena's whole 'contact an Archangel' thing wasn't working out in their favour. The only Archangels that Dean knew of, were either dead, or Lucifer. However, there was apparently a 'surge of energy' that Rowena had sense when she had contacted one earlier, so Dean had left her alone (against his better judgement) in the library, to sit with Cas. Somehow, he knows that Castiel is going to be okay, but it's his mind… his dark mind… that is trying to convince him otherwise. Whilst keeping a beside vigil, Dean had been getting regular updates from Sam, Jack, and Mary about their case, and what they've discovered as well about Cas' condition. According to Sam, it's kind of like… a virus… one that attacks an Angel's grace, like it would attack a human's immune system. It's caused by the Angel just being overworked and overzealous. Sam seems to think, that when Cas was fighting against The Empty, he was unknowingly using so much of his power to keep him strong, that when he got back to earth, the rapid return to his normal self, caused his body and grace to collide with each other, essentially making him run down, and sick. Dean hadn't understood a word of what Sam had said, until his brother put it in lamence terms. He explained that Cas will need to essentially 'sleep' or shut his grace off, in order to recharge it, or he will end up like he is now. The idea of just sleeping beside his Angel sent a warm feeling through Dean's body, but he ignored that and thanked his brother. Sam awkwardly asked about how Rowena is, and Dean sceptically replied that she's 'fine', after which his brother was quick to hang up. A shout from the library, had Dean bolt to his feet, grabbing his gun and running out to where Rowena was now on the ground. There was a bright, white light emanating from the bowl on the table, that seemed to move on its own. The Witch and the Hunter followed the light, stopping at the door to Dean's room, where he settled for a moment above Castiel, then almost merged into him. Rowena and Dean had to cover their eyes and the light grew too much for them, and then it was gone, and Cas was a little brighter in complexion, but still unconscious. Rowena began to walk away, when Dean heard his Angel groan, running over to him immediately just in time for Cas to open his eyes.

Rowena didn't know what happened. She knew that someone… or something… had answered her call, but she doesn't know who. What she does know, is that from now on, Cas will need to take time to 'recharge his batteries', which kind of excited Dean, because Angel's don't usually sleep, and now Cas has too, so they can curl up together in bed… not that he would tell anyone else about it… especially not Sam. Could you imagine the flack he would cop from his brother if he knew that Dean thought about cuddling with Cas. In fact, that's what they're doing right now. The Angel is 'sleeping', whilst Dean just holds him, Cas' head is on his shoulder, and he has an arm wrapped around the slender waist of his Angel. After helping Dean, and discovering that Sam wasn't at the Bunker, Rowena excused herself, leaving Dean to care for Cas. The eldest brother didn't think much of it, just that he knew that he owed Rowena one, and that could be dangerous. But for now, he has Cas, and he can't go through what he just went through, or what he went through went Lucifer stabbed Cas. He won't go through that again. For the first time in many years, Dean thought about the fact that Thanksgiving was coming up, and how it would be a first for both Cas and Jack. He had mentioned the idea to Mary, and she had been excited about the prospect of having a family meal, especially because it would be her first one since she was 'resurrected' last year. What are you doing Dean? You're not a planner… you don't plan for holidays… his mind told him, and he knew that was true, but the thought of ignoring the holiday, like they've done for the last well thirty years… just didn't sit right with Dean. The Hunter life is very short. So, they all need to make the most of it whilst they can… and this is Dean making the most of it. Cas stirred beside him, his skin wasn't a pale as before, and he had that beautiful bright blue back in his eyes as they opened and joined with his. For the most part, Cas leaned up, pressed a kiss to Dean's lips, and rested his head on his hands, on Dean's chest, whilst the Hunter just ran his fingers up and down Cas' t-shirt covered back. They stayed like that for a while, then Cas shifted slightly, and Dean felt the Angel against his thigh, which surprised both of them. Dean deepened the kiss, pushing Cas back onto the bed, grinding their hips together, both moaning, Cas thew his head back, eyes wide as the new sensation ran through his body. They were kissing and grinding and making horrible noises.

'Cas… Cas we… we have to… stop…' Dean said, and he fell so much more in love with his Angel when he immediately ceased all contact, worried that he'd done something wrong, but Dean pulled him back close to reassure him

'Too fast?' Cas asked, and Dean just nodded once, pushing a strand of hair off his forehead, smiling, and kissing him once

'I want to have sex with you Cas, and we will… but I don't want to rush it. This relationship… you… you mean more to me than… I need you… I love you… I don't want to rush anything,' Dean said, and Cas nodded, kissing his Hunter, before settling down again beside Dean

'I need you too you know. That much should be obvious by now…' Cas replied, and Dean nodded as well, they both ended up falling asleep like that.

Morning

When Dean had told Sam, Jack, Mary, and Cas that they're having Thanksgiving this year, they were all surprised, but excited… except for Jack who was confused. Castiel explained to him the Angel's version of Thanksgiving, leaving Dean to tell Jack the human traditions, which Cas commented were 'much better'. So, it was settled, in three days, they're having Thanksgiving. Mary and Dean went into town to get supplies, whilst Jack decided to do some independent research into the holiday, and Sam went to… well he disappeared, leaving Cas to just wander around, not sure what he should be doing. Unbeknownst to Dean, he has been planning their second date. He doesn't know if the Hunter will like it, and he can't exactly tell Sam about it, because as much as he likes Sam (as a brother), the young man can't keep a secret to save his life… especially… when it comes to anything to do with his and Dean's relationship. It's like he just has to burst out and tell everyone around them. Cas doesn't mind, but Dean seems to, and he never knows who to side with one those occasions, not wanting to put himself in the middle, even though Sam and Dean are constantly putting him in the middle of their disputes, and Dean thinking that because they're "together" that he's automatically going to side with him. As an Angel, he tries to remain out of things like that, but that leads to a fight with Dean, and he's done enough of that to last a long time. This morning he and Sam had been arguing, and they had put him in the middle, and Mary had told them off, for always doing that, and then for getting mad that he won't choose a side. Dean had come to him and apologised, and they had spent a good hour making out… now Cas knows what it's like to have a 'boner clog' as Dean had called it. He was so hard… for the entirety of the hour, that he hid himself in the bathroom, turning on the water in the shower just to jerk himself off like the video he had watched. Cas considers it research, but when he got himself off, he was imagining that it was Dean, so he calls that it was okay. Besides, The Hunter can't get mad at him because Cas has caught Dean still looking at the Busty Asian Beauties website numerous times since they began dating, and it's planted doubts in his mind. Is he holding off on sex because my vessel is male? Cas asked himself again that day, wondering into the library to read something… anything to get his mind back into clear territory again. If all he gets to do for the rest of eternity is kiss Dean Winchester… then at least he has Dean Winchester.

By the time Mary and Dean had returned, Sam had come back from whatever he was doing, looking rumpled, and somehow Rowena had shown up during the time that Cas was napping. She waved to the Angel as she left the Bunker, Cas returning the wave, confused as to why the Witch was here, but distracted by Dean's return, going to help Mary carry in the rest of the bags from the car. It turns out, that sometimes, some people decorate for Thanksgiving as well, and Mary had made this a priority, as this is their 'First Family Thanksgiving'. Cas had offered to help, wanting to be useful, instead of just standing around and waiting for someone to tell him to do something, and he can't really cook, though he's been wanting to learn, and Sam had told him that he would help him out if he needed it. But he figured that he would leave the Thanksgiving lunch to the others, after hearing Dean talk about how much it means to the entire day. Jack had come to him, and told him that, for Thanksgiving, people usually go around the table and say what they're thankful for, he was so excited about it, he ran off to tell the others, whilst Castiel was left contemplating the information from the Nephilim. What am I thankful for? Cas thought to himself, as he stood in the middle of the War Room, holding the end of the decorative garland whilst Mary stuck it up around the Bunker. The Winchester Matriarch noticed the Angel being distracted. She and Dean had talked whilst they were shopping, and whilst her son had expressed fear of what having sex would mean for their relationship, he assured her that it isn't because 'Cas is a male'. In fact, he actually came out to her as bisexual. It had been a lovely moment. Maybe she can play that role for Castiel as well, after all he was created from primordial entities. He never had a mother. Or someone who represented that for him. So perhaps Mary could play that part. Besides, she wants this relationship to succeed, because Dean deserves to be happy, and so does Castiel. Climbing down from where she had finished hanging garlands, she moved over to where the Angel was now sorting out some of the cutlery items they had brought for tomorrow. He was doing it in silence, almost a contemplative silence, but he wasn't smiling. Mary didn't know how to begin. How do you talk to an Angel of the Lord? How do you address your son's boyfriend? She has to learn all of this, having not been here for over thirty years, she needs to relearn. Never one to shy away from risks, Mary dives in.

'Is everything okay Castiel?' Mary asked, noticing the slight shift in the Angel's expression, from contemplative to a smile

'Yes, thank you Mary. I have to say, this looks amazing,' Cas says, taking the moment to look around

'You know, Dean loves you. I know that sometimes it might seem like he's pulling away, or pushing you away, but he loves you. He's just afraid of losing you, and I know with this life… with this job… just… don't let him push you away Castiel. If he tries to, just hold onto him tighter,' Mary said, taking his hand, seeing the water begin in the Angel's blue eyes

'I have no intention of ever letting him go Mary, nor do I plan on leaving. Not if I can help it… and for the record, I love Dean as well. Just so you know,' Castiel replied, a genuine smile on his face, Mary pulled him into a hug, shooting a smile to Dean when he entered the room, raising an eyebrow, before walking over to Cas, pressing a kiss to his temple, and smiling.

Evening

Jack had suggested a movie night, and because of that, they had let the young Nephilim choose the film. Dean and Cas were snuggled together on the small two-seater sofa, covered with a blanket, whilst the others were spread sporadically around the Den, as the opening chords to Forrest Gump played into the silence. Dean groaned, resting his head on Cas' shoulder, the Angel just carding his fingers through the Hunters hair, causing Dean to look up at him, surprised but smiling, before returning to his position. Cas and Jack were intrigued by the film, as was Mary. Dean dozed off, the sensation of Cas' fingers in his hair enough to lull him to sleep. He doesn't know how long he was asleep for, but when he woke up, Cas had wrapped the blanket around him, and was sleeping in his side. Dean's arm wrapped around his waist, Cas' head on his shoulder. The Hunter decided to return the favour, and began running his own, Hunter calloused fingers through his Angel's beautiful hair, pressing a soft kiss to his forehead, which only made Cas curl up to him more. It was lucky that Sam and Mary were sleeping, otherwise Dean would have… what? Shied away from the touch because of how it would make you look? Sam and Mom wouldn't care. They would probably smile, and then Sam would tease him, that's normal. Why am I so damn worried about what others think about me with Cas? Dean asked himself, the final moments of Forrest Gump fading out to Jack's clapping, which woke Sam and Mary, but not his sleeping Angel. Quickly apologising, Jack asked what was up next to watch, and Dean just smiled, telling Jack to 'put on whatever'. The Nephilim looked over at him and Castiel, and grinned, raising his thumbs up to Dean, who returned the gesture. Jack had hugged him when he'd told him that he and Cas were together. The Nephilim had been so excited about it, he followed the two of them around for the entire day and had sneakily taken a picture of the two of them curled together, which he then set as Dean's lock screen picture. The Hunter had been annoyed… but he hasn't changed it. He doesn't think he's going to. He likes opening his phone screen and seeing his blue-eyed Angel smiling back at him. Dean pulled his phone out and looked at his lock screen, smiling at the picture of himself and Cas on his phone, then he looked around the room at everyone in his family, and everything seemed to fall into place. He's going to take advantage of being happy whilst he can. He'll hold on as tight as can for as long as he can.

A/N: Okay, so I'm looking over this, and I need your help. Do you think that Sam should end up with Eileen, or... should we continue this weird and wacky friends-with-whatever they are thing he has with Rowena? Because personally, I think Sam and Rowena would be kind of adorable together... in a weird way... and only in this story... not in the actual series... that would have been really weird. :o
