Not long after Cat Noir and Team Revival started the search for Marinette and the six hero groups somewhere in the city, Wang still filed a missing person report to the police, and Marinette's photo was pasted across all the screens in the city.

"I think we're okay now. Why were you all alone together here in Shanghai?" Fei asked, directing everyone's attention away from the tv screens nearby.

"Well, we had caught up with Marinette here. She was trying to meet a friend of hers, and the next thing she knew, all her things were stolen." Scorpia explained.

Fei then noticed some locals were eyeing Marinette after the missing person request, and suddenly grabbed Marinette's arm.

"Come on." Fei said, leading everyone into an alley before reaching into her bag and pulling out two pairs of hats and sunglasses, one for her and one for Marinette. "Put these on, in case we bump into those kids who were chasing us."

"Why do you have all these costumes?" Marinette asked.

"I, uh…I just got back from a costume party." Fei answered.

"Our new 'friend' is certainly hiding her cards well." Yuri said to the others.

"Yeah, she's got Marinette fooled, but not us. It's obvious she took her things." Mermista said quietly.

"I don't really get a bad vibe off her though." Hope said.

"Then why would she steal Marinette's things? That doesn't make sense." Klonoa said.

"You did hear what she said before, right?" David asked.

"Right, she had something stolen from her too." Shantae said.

"It's always big cities like this that have dark underbellies. Especially when it comes to theft, homelessness, workforce, or any combination of the three." David said.

"But despite all that, Fei's not stealing because she wants to." Hope said. "She's only doing this because someone has the thing she wants."

"Yeah, and she wants to get it back, no matter what she has to do." Shuichi said.

Lei K sighed. "That's really no way for her to live. I can't let her turn into the same person the old man first met me as. We gotta help her."

"I think I know how." Adora said. "Excuse me, Fei?"

"Yes?" Fei asked.

"You know your way around the city, right? Have you seen any shops in the suburbs that have a bracelet like this one on display?" Adora asked, pointing to the bracelet on Dan's arm.

"Not like that one, I'm afraid. Why do you ask?" Fei asked as the group headed to a rack of bikes.

"We're looking for six other bracelets that complete a set. Each of them are one of a kind, completly irreplaceable." Ragna said.

"I see… I know a street filled with Pawn Shops. Maybe one of those bracelets is being sold there." Fei said.

"Hey, that matches up with the tip Theodore told us!" Frosta remembered.

"Yeah, he said he sold one of them to a shop here in the city. My money is that one of those Pawn Shops will have it." Miu said.

"Can you take us to this Pawn Shop street, Fei?" Hope asked.

"Of course. And if we're lucky, Marinette's earrings will be there as well." Fei nodded, leading the way as she took Marinette by bike.

She lead them to a place called Cash's Antiques where the Ladybug Miraculous sat in the window.

"My Miracu…My…my earrings." Marinette said as she pointed at her ears.

"Wow. What luck." Fei said as they walked inside where a man holding a paper fan kept the shop.

"Okay…I'll need you to translate for me and…" Marinette said.

"That won't be necessary. I speak English. How can I help?" the man asked as he saw their gaze at the earrings. "Ah. These earrings. Very…precious to you?"

"Infinitely." Marinette said.

"Very well….100,000 yuan to get them back." the man said.

"Yeesh… Pricey." David said.

"Is 100,000 yuan a lot?" Marinette asked.

"It's the price of a luxury car." David said.

"(You told me it was worth only 200.)" Fei shouted in mandarin.

"That's the last applied, baby: it's precious to her, its precious to me." he said.

"Is that so?" Yuri asked. "Tell me, that wouldnt also happen to apply to something else you may have in this store, now would it?"

"Depends…what is it you seek?" he asked.

"A bracelet. One of a kind, likely sold to this shop. By a man called Theodore Flux."

"Ah…I know it. Unfortunately, I have another buyer looking it over." the man said pointing to the other side of the store where they saw Flux trying the thing on. The bracelet itself was black with golden lines across it.

"Crud, he's here? Hmm…doesn't look like he's noticed us though." Jexi said.

"Hmm…you know, I'm not much for jewelry but I do kinda like the feel of this." Flux said.

"Yeah. You look great, sir." Ian said.

"Totally spiffy, sir." DaDan said.

"You know…I think I will buy this thing." Flux said.

"Hey, Cash! How much for the bracelet?" DaDan called over without even looking to spot the groups.

"Uh…how much you got?" Cash asked.

"I can pay…this amount." Flux said writing a number on some paper before showing it to the man.

"Are you certain?" Cash asked.

"I'm doing very well with a number of side businesses and this is to make me look good, so that's how much I'll pay." Flux said.

"Sold!" Cash said.

"What?!" Fei asked. "These people were aiming to buy that bracelet first, and you sell it to him for whatever price he requests?!"

"He paid more, your friends paid nothing." Cash said.

"Did they now?" David asked, unconvinced.

"When you get offered this much money, you must take it." Cash said.

"That's disgusting, someone taking advantage of your greed by offering up a large some of money, and you just take advantage of it in order to get rich!" Fei said.

"You're the one who robbed this girl." Cash said, referring to Marinette. "And you brought her to me afterwards. So tell me, which one of us uses people's misfortunes more?"

While Cash was speaking, Tikki phased out of the prize grabber machine Cash had put her in and came to the heroes side.

"Everyone!" the Kwami of creation whispered.

"Hang tight, Tikki. We'll get you and your miraculous back." Hope whispered back.

David noticed Tikki with them and had an idea. "Um… Actually, we're no longer interested in buying anything. This stuff seems so expensive, especially on a budget like mine." he said, clearly playing it up.

"Oh? So you don't want to offer up a higher price for the bracelet to convince me to sell it to you?" Cash asked.

"Haha… In that case…" David said as he walked outside before coming back with a suitcase. "I hope this much is alright." he said as the suitcase was filled with cash.

Cash looked at the money and smiled. "I think your bid is starting to seem a little shallow, Amadeus."

"What?! That's impossible! I gave you enough money to buy…" Flux said before seeing the heroes. "Ugh…can't you heroes go one day without giving me a headache?"

"What? Someone out of the six of us leaders has to have a job." David said.

"Please. Demon Hunter is not a job. It's a gig." Flux said.

"So is being a Paranormal Detective and an Arena Tycoon?" David asked.

"All three of which rake in as much money as you're making right now with all your businesses combined?" Glimmer added.

"Wait a minute…flip over the case and then open it." Flux said.

"Uh…that really isn't…" Vector said as Cash did so and saw some books on top.

"Phone books? What the hell is this?" Cash asked.

"Uh….sorry. We'll go." David said as they headed out.

"Hmm…good riddance." Cash said.

"Yeah…dishonest scum trying to…" Flux said before seeing the bracelet gone from his wrist. "Hey!"

"See ya, Universal Saps!" David said as he rode off on Miraidon, the others close behind.

"He played us!" DaDan said.

"No one steals from me and gets away with it! I'm the only one whos supposed to steal stuff!" Flux said.

"Ha…you should really…" Cash said before looking in the prize machine. "Where is the red plush toy?" he said before looking at the earrings to realize they were fakes. "She juked me….That little brat juked me!"

"That thief you hired swiped those earrings while we were distracted!" DaDan said before remembering. "Wait a second… I know those….They…were here!"

"Stop standing there with your mouth open." Flux said, getting in a rickshaw. "Ian! DaDan…mush!"

Meanwhile, outside in the streets..

"Not gonna lie David, while stealing isn't the smartest move, it was worth it to see the look on Flux's face!" Glimmer said as they ran.

"I didn't think the money in the case was gonna cut it. So, I had to get a little crafty." David said. "Besides, once Tikki got back with us, I was about ready to walk out since we'd be swiping it from them in the end anyway."

"And your act did allow me to get these." Fei said, showing the earrings.

"You stole my earrings?" Marinette asked in disbelief.

"Mari, that guy was committing highway robbery with that price." Mark said.

"And weren't you the one who wanted them back?" Fei asked.

"Yes but he probably spent a lot of money on them. He'll end up losing all his money." Marinette said, before a shot of a cannon was heard.

"Get…back…here!" Flux called out as he rode in a modded out rickshaw with Ian and DaDan pulling it.

"Whoop. Looks like they caught up to us. Better get moving." David said.

"Hey, do you think if you put it on, you'd be going through the same thing as Dan?" Miu asked.

"I don't want to risk it without that girl around. It's most likely still dormant." David said. "Besides, it likely only reacted with Dan cause he had something in common with it. That being dragons."

"And we can't really ID the bracelet because we dont know a thing about them. If only there was someone who does…" Catra said.

"We don't have time to debate. We got a super villain on a rickshaw trying to blast us!" Usopp said.

"We're too big a target cluttered up like this. We have to spread out." David said.

"I'll take Marinette somewhere safe. You lead that man and his goons away!" Fei said.

"Got it. It's me they'd want anyway." David said as he revved up Miraidon as he looked at the bracelet he swiped. "I don't know what your deal is or what you do, but… Just in case." he said as he put it on before speeding away from Flux to get the Universal Villains' attention on him.

"Okay, we'll be safe since Flux is chasing David now, right?" Scorpia asked.

Fei then looked behind them and saw three men chasing them. "Not quite. Looks like Cash wasn't too happy about the little swap I made." Fei said.

"What's your deal with that guy, anyway? He's a money grubber for sure, but he didnt do anything to you, did he?" Leanne said.

"It's a long story… but he has the answers I need. About what happened to my adoptive father." Fei said.

"I see…well…sounds like a fine thing." Jexi said as he jumped at the three men before taking them all down.

Fei was shocked at how easily Jexi took the three men down. "Incredible…"

"You think that's incredible? That wasn't even him going all out." Caspar said.

"You mentioned you knew a place to hide out?" Hope asked.

"Yes. And it's somewhere I have to be, very soon." Fei said, looking up at the full moon.

Elsewhere in the suburbs…

"Hey, Connor?" Hilda asked, as Team Revival were deeper in the suburbs. "I think we may be lost."

"That it certainly looks like." Connor said. "Maybe we went the wrong way somewhere."

"It's not like we know this city like the back of our hands. We can't even read the language on the street signs." Leonie said.

"What now?" Piccoletta said.

"I dunno, Pic. This city's so big, it's like lookin for six needles in a giant haystack…" Connor started before he was interrupted as the group suddenly came across the ruins of some sort of temple. "Okay, that's interesting."

"What happened here?" Medina asked, as they got a closer look.

"Dunno, but this place has seen better days…" Connor said.

"Ugh, what's taking them so long? Couldn't your ancestor pick a better time to go window shopping?" a voice asked from inside the temple.

Connor looked over to see Gabriel and Techno and some of the other villains nearby.

"Sorry. He should have been back by now." Techno said.

Connor and the rest of Team Revival ducked into hiding further away.

"We can't wait for him to appear. We'll only have one chance to get the Prodigious." Gabriel said.

"Understood. We'll just have to reunite with them once we've obtained our prize." Techno agreed.

"Techno, masters, please reconsider! You'll trigger a magic that is much too powerful for any of you! The magic guardian of the Prodigious is a formidable opponent, you'll never be able to defeat him!" Nooroo begged.

"In a fight to the death? Perhaps." Techno agreed, before his glasses shined. "But then again…we don't necessarily have to defeat them, merely…convince them to see things our way." he finished, colorful pixels radiating off of his hands. "With enough will…even gods can be persuaded, as we all have seen demonstrated by our enemies."

"You sure you can mechanize a god?" Boba asked.

"Most gods aren't that difficult, if you have the right tools." Techno said. "That being said, just attempting to do so will be a challenge. We must be cautious."

"Agreed. We can't risk things going wrong, especially if…" Gabriel trailed off, glancing towards the city. "...We can't let things spill out into the city."

"It won't come to that if we can help it." Techno promised. "Now hurry. As you said, we only have one chance."

The full moon above started to overshadow, something starting to happen, and Team Revival noticed it too.

"Looks like we stumbled upon an actual Universal Villains scheme." Leonie whispered.

"I noticed. Looks like we're the first ones here. Whatever this Prodigious is, I'm betting they want their hands on it real bad if it's as powerful as Nooroo says it is." Connor said.

"What do you propose we do, Connor?" Maxwell asked.

"We stay low, keep outta sight." Connor whispered. "I'm not making the same mistake twice with these guys."

"What do you think this Prodigious is?" Giovanna asked.

"If Gabriel's the one who wants it…. It's probably somethin' that makes those other jewels look like regular accessories." Travis said.

"Then we better make sure they dont get it." Raphael nodded.

"Wherever you guys are… i hope you make it here fast." Connor hoped.
