They arrived at the site of the impact, debre had blocked the road which slowed them down, but they had finally arrived, Dick lead the group toward the large crater in the street, with Garfield the fourth member of the group brought up the rear. As Dick approached the crater he saw a woman laying on her back unconscious in the center.
"Are you ok?" He called out. The woman was barely covered in two black strips of cloth, her body badly bruised, the bruises made obvious against her almost golden brown skin.
"Do not go near her" A raspy voice from the sky called, When they looked up a gray-skinned man cloaked in black was floating above the crater.
"Who are you?" Dick yelled up "I am the high general of Tamaran's armies" The general removed his hood to reveal a golden crown sitting atop his bald head, his nose jutted out to a point and his eyes were glowing a golden red.
"I am simply here to retrieve this escaped war criminal" He continued pointing a long twisted black staff toward the woman in the crater.
"What are the crimes you accuse her of?" Dick shouted "She is wanted for treason, inciting rebellion, and attempts on the life of princess Komand'r, among other crimes against the throne of Tamaran"
"As your hunt has resulted in mass destruction, and injury of citizens of earth, you must submit yourself and this supposed war criminal to the authorities of this territory" Dick had never personally dealt with any extraterrestrial threats without the backing of the Justice League.
"I will not submit to your authorities I must take this criminal and be on my way" He was slowly descending toward the crater "Should you detain me against my will or without the knowledge of my people you will incite war with Tamaran"
"Then leave our world and do not return, we will take this woman and try her for whatever crimes she may have committed in our territory" Dick didn't wish to start a war, but he couldn't shake the feeling in his gut about the general. The general's face twisted in anger, he pointed his staff toward Dick, the end of the black staff began glowing. Before the projectile hit Garfield shoved Dick out of way the cement flying into the air behind them. The general took aim at Dick once again,
"I suggest you do not harm the people of this planet" Alice was now levitating her skin had turned gray, her eyes had seemingly multiplied each one glowing red.
The general's gaze now focused on the figure levitating across from him, Alice seemed to have a dark glow emitting from her.
"I do not fear a child" He spat, he raised his staff toward her the light at the end glowing brighter, the bolt of light shot towards Alice. A black tendril shot forward consuming the light,
"Do not try me, though you may have power on Tamaran your power does not extend to this realm" Alice's voice echoed. The general swung his staff in a slashing motion toward Alice, the burst of light flying at her was yet again extinguished by the dark tendrils. Alice shot forward consuming the general in the dark glow. The view of the rest of the altercation was obscured by the dark glow emitting from Alice. When the dark glow cleared, Alice was all that remained, she began descending back to street level. Barbara met her where she landed "Alice, are you ok?" She asked "My name is not Alice, I am Raven, I am a spirit bonded to the body of this young girl whom you call Alice" The voice coming from Alice was serious and monotone "I have been bonded to her to protect her from the influence of Vav" Raven was interrupted by the loud rush of air as a streak of black and white landed on the ground spitting dust into the air. When the dust settled A girl with short dark hair stood in a position recognized by Barbara, Dick, and Garfield, a landing position that had been titled the superman landing.
