The bullet struck Batgirl's chest sending her flying over the edge of the roof "Barbara!" Prophet shouted, she rushed to the fire escape her boots rattling the metal as she charged down toward where Barbara had landed, she vaulted over the railing dropping down next to Batgirl,
"Batgirl, are you ok?" She began unzipping the top of Batgirl's suit. Barbara grabbed her hand,
"It's ok, I've got two layers of bulletproof armor" She took a deep breath in "The bullet pierced 1 but the other is still intact" The mangled bullet was still stuck in the first layer of armor.
"Alice you need to go help Kara" Barbara was interrupted by the sound of metal striking the back of Prophite's Skull, she collapsed replacing her was a tall bony figure cloaked in shadow.
"Don't touch her" Barbara tried pushing herself up but a heavy brown leather boot on her chest slowly pushed her back down, the pressure of the heavy boot was directly where the bullet had just struck, she screamed out in pain the corners of her vision going dark as the pain increased with more pressure from the boot.
"Thank you for bringing young Alice back to me" A horse whisper, and she blacked out.
Supergirl took off in the direction of the shooter three buildings away Deadshot barely had a moment to react before he was grabbed by the throat.
"Kid" He choked out" I fought the big man even he couldn't catch me" He brought the blade around slashing it across her stomach, suddenly she felt ill blood dripped out of the wound on her stomach, her grip on his throat loosened, he brought his rifle around.
BANG The sound echoed, Kara's shoulder became warm and wet with blood, she fell to her knees clutching her shoulder.
"Now go back and play with the other kids" Deadshot kicked her sending her hurdling off the building.
Supergirl woke up, she didn't know how long it had been but it was still dark and her wounds had stopped bleeding. She found her way to the alley where Batgirl had fallen to find her laying on the ground unconscious,
"Barbara, Barbara" Kara shook Barbara a little "Kara, you need to get Dick, Alice was taken"
