Chapter 14
It seemed like the ground had opened to swallow the falling chair, it felt like forever before the wooden chair struck the ground, the wood splitting, Prophet was now free. It took a second before she noticed the floor had morphed into the face of an old grandfather clock that seemed to reflect light from some unseen source. The walls and table had disappeared replaced with what seemed to be an impossible mix of dark and light. The pain in her leg was sudden, one of the chair legs had splintered and become lodged in her leg.
"Rachel, are you ok?" The girl in white rushed to her,
"Shit" Was the only response she got,
"She'll get over it," The second girl said standing over Prophet
"Who the fuck are you people?" Prophet spat "That's right, where are our manners" The girl in dark began "My name is Vav, I believe we've met" She put her hand out as though Prophet might stand and shake it.
"It's me, Raven" The first girl was still crouched beside her. The pain in Prophet's head had returned, though this time it was much worse, Black Shadows began Creeping at the edges of her vision as the pain increased.
"Fuck" Raven exclaimed her hands going to her head,
"The shit, are you doing that?" Vav had her fists pressed to her temples
"Rachel, Rachel, Shit she's blacking out" Raven crawled into Prophet's vision on her hands and knees, the pain seemingly too much for her "Look I need you to remember something ok?" She paused a second before continuing "Your name is Rachel Roth, you'll be fifteen in ten days, You Lived at 7 Something Old Chapel, Frick there was something else" Raven began coughing up blood before she could continue Prophet fell unconscious.
I'm really sorry for how short this chapter is my work schedule has been pretty hectic lately, after next week my schedule should go back to normal but as next week will be even worse with my job the chapter may be delayed or shorter as well. After that, I should have more time to work on longer chapters. Thank you to the fifty visitors to my story this month I really appreciate the support and chance to share my love of these characters.
