Rider Time Zi-O: Roze from Remnant
Chapter 38 – Shinobi Festival 2019
"Once written in this book, average highschooler Tokiwa Sougo would embark on a path that led him to become the overlord of time, Oma Zi-O. However he has since chosen to live as Kamen Rider Zi-O."
Woz narrated in his black void, pacing back and forth in front of the clock that blended into the foreground.
"Traveling to Zawame City he obtained the power of Kamen Rider Gaim, while Miss Rose failed to appease the specter of Kamen Rider Baron. Despite her setback only the power of Gaim was needed to open up the defeat of Kugai Kudo. Without the power of Another Gaim he was swiftly defeated in a brilliant display."
Woz opened and looked through his book to view the past events. The static was still there but he was able to see images of the prior battles. Though the images themselves managed to catch glimpse of two watchers, Swartz alongside something that made his eyes narrow, what looked to be him in a silver outfit.
"However with Swartz now aware of the new Riders the remainder of Team RWBY has become, alongside a mischievous lurker, it appears as though I cannot sit back much longer." Woz said before closing his book and walking off.
Earth – January 1st 2022
Sougo was a bit clueless but very confused at the moment, he was having a nice lunch with his Uncle when a sudden realization hit. Not only was it the first of January which he was sure already happened, it was also the year 2022.
Rushing out of 9-5-DO he quickly went searching for anyone that could help, Geiz, Tsukuyomi, even Ruby and her friends. He paused as he took in the view after getting deep enough into the city.
"It really is 2022…" He looked around in surprise. "How did this happen?"
Hologram screens, shark projections, various different technological advancements alongside the year 2022 being plastered everywhere… and ninja's… wait…
Sougo tilted his head, "Ninja's?"
True to his inquiry, various people in colored hoods and headbands were present, and to his surprise some scaled buildings in an instant. He could have sworn he saw a chef at a food cart just spew out flames from his fingers to light a grill, alongside an older man using a tornado to round up all the loose leaves and branches into a neat pile.
"Wow, Blake would really be at home huh?" Sougo remarked before hearing the sounds of fighting nearby. "Huh?" He quickly took off to investigate before seeing something that made his eyes widen, "Blake?!"
Black clothed ninja-like soldiers with katana's were currently being swiftly dealt with by Kamen Rider Shinobi. But something felt different, the armor seemed a bit bulkier and Sougo didn't recognize any of the grunts from Shinobi as Blake's.
[FINISH NINPO!]
Shinobi's body glew a bright purple, with two swift punches and a spinning kick the black clothed assailants were swiftly dealt with. The Rider struck a pose before standing up straight and dismissing the transformation.
Sougo tilted his head further, "Eh?"
To his surprise the person in front of him wasn't Blake but was a seemingly random guy in a long black coat. He gave a scoff as he dusted himself off, "The Rainbow Serpent Clan is persistent. But it doesn't matter for I, Rentaro Kagura, will defeat them before they can cause any further harm."
Sougo put a hand to his chin, "Rentaro?"
"Hey, wake up you dolt!"
"Huh?" Sougo began to look around, "Weiss?"
Suddenly the area faded to white, digital beeping being heard in the background before everything faded to black.
Earth – Mid January 2019
Sougo gave a light groan as he got up, seeing various textbooks in front of him alongside a heavily annoyed Weiss. "Oh, hey Weiss, what are you doing here?"
Weiss' eye twitched as she slammed her hands on the table, "Don't play dumb!"
Sougo yelped as he quickly sat up, soon looking around and realizing he was in the dining room of 9-5-DO with his textbooks around him. Geiz and Tsukuyomi were both off to the side doing their own thing as they watched Weiss get fed up with Sougo.
"Sougo, remember you had asked Weiss to come help you?" Tsukuyomi pointed out.
"But then he said he wanted to try and get a head start on trying to figure things out," Geiz added.
"O-Oh…" Sougo trailed.
"Your studies are important you know," Weiss sighed as she sat down. "Are you getting enough sleep?"
"Huh? What's that got to do with anything?" Sougo asked.
"Just answer the question… what time did you go to sleep last night?" Weiss asked.
"Oh uh… I think I went to bed at 3am?" Sougo thought a bit. "I was trying to study super hard so that the lessons would be easier."
Weiss pinched the bridge of her nose, "Okay then that nap was needed after all."
"Uh… am I in trouble?" Sougo asked.
"You will be if you don't shape up," Weiss pointed. "Listen Sougo, I'm not an expert on standard high school classes, but I know you shouldn't burn yourself out like this. I'd suggest getting some rest, paying attention where you can, and then having me come over to help you understand things better."
Sougo gave a nod, remembering now that he wasn't exactly doing the best in his classes which meant he had to study harder. Weiss had offered to help him try and understand the topics more recently, though their first attempt at the moment seemed to have gone up in smoke.
"So what did you dream about Sougo?" Tsukuyomi asked, deciding to lighten the mood since she saw that Weiss had given up on being the strict study partner.
"Oh actually I'm kind of glad I fell asleep," Sougo admitted before wincing when he saw Weiss glaring at him. He cleared his throat, "I dreamed how I was in 2022, and like everyone was a ninja… and then I thought I saw Blake fighting some weird goons but instead of her in Shinobi's armor it was some dude named Rentaro."
"Well it was only a dream," Weiss replied, "Odd that it wouldn't be Blake though."
"It got me thinking though," Sougo admitted. "Are you guys sure that Shinobi, Quiz, and Kikai don't exist normally? Like even between now and…"
"They absolutely would not," Geiz cut off. "Not too long from now, the Day of Oma would normally happen. That day is the day you would become Oma Zi-O. From that moment on, every other Rider in history vanishes."
"The Day of Oma…" Weiss trailed.
"I mean… it has to be different now right?" Sougo asked a bit nervously as just the name felt heavy to him. "The Riders we've met haven't vanished, and I just want to be a Kamen Rider now."
"It's possible," Tsukuyomi admitted. "But it's hard to tell."
"Given everything that's happened… yeah that might be the case," Geiz replied. "But we can't be too sure."
"Well you can't be a Kamen Rider if you fail your classes," Weiss stood up before starting to head off. "And you'll fail your classes if you don't take care of yourself. Get some rest and we'll pick it up tomorrow."
"Alright," Sougo gave a wave, "Night Weiss."
Weiss walked at a leisurely pace through the streets at the sun continued to set. She was thankful that the apartment she shared with the others wasn't too far from 9-5-DO. She was lost in her thoughts however, wondering if she should tell the others about the Day of Oma. Then again even if it was said to happen, she just couldn't see Sougo becoming Oma Zi-O. It felt like an insane leap when it came to logic, so she pushed those thoughts down for now.
And she had to as she accidentally bumped into someone and nearly fell over. She turned and gave a glare but took a deep breath to calm herself, "Please watch where you're going."
She was only met with mumbles as the young man in casual clothing that had bumped into her was slumped over. "Sorry…" He muttered with a yawn.
Weiss gave a sigh, she had seen online pictures about it but she could only guess that this man was one of those meltdown cases that were always posted. Deciding to not keep anyone at the apartment waiting she took off in a more hurried pace.
The young man could only make his way to a wall before leaning against it. He breathed heavily as he clutched his chest, seemingly getting panicked as he tried to calm down. After several minutes he managed to let out a grown as he fully calmed down. "Ugh… what is…?" He winced as he threw himself from the wall and stumbled into another person.
However this person wasn't just any ordinary man, as he looked like an unruly gang member. He gave a sneer before grabbing the young man and dragging him into a nearby alleyway. The gang member quickly shoved the younger man against the wall, pulling out his knife, "What's your name kid?"
The young man sputtered as he tried to get the words out, "R-Ret-"
"It doesn't matter, because today's your lucky day, I'm going to mess you up for messing with me," The gang member hissed out. "You little trash piles always never take good care of yourselves. If you did you'd know not to mess with the wrong people."
"Wrong people…" The young trailed before his eyes turned a bright purple. "You're right about that."
"Huh?" The gang member suddenly yelled out as was thrown backwards when the young man unleashed a purple pulse of energy. When the thug managed to gain his bearings he began to stammer slightly.
A purple armored monster stood in the young man's place, having warped ninja-like armor with various metal skull decorations all over, various black cloths dropping from his chest and helmet. Thin yellow vein-like trimming ran through the leg armor, stomach, chest and arms. The helmet was primarily purple with the front having a skull mouth and a yellow visor revealing two beady eyes underneath. A metal forehead plate and a twisted shuriken broke up the helmets features. On waist area was katakana for 'Shinobi', with Shinobi being written on English on its right gauntlet while the year 2002 was written in kanji on its left gauntlet.
[SHINOBI!]
"Wrong people… you and your kind hurt others… I won't let you get away with this…" Another Shinobi hissed out before pressing his hands together, forming a hand sign. A purple light lit up the alleyway as screams could be heard before stopping.
A few people were freaked out and quickly turned away from the alleyway. There was at least one young man brave enough to see what was going on. He peaked in but saw no one there, only ashes and a few purple flames. The Another Rider had completely vanished from the scene after its attack.
"Rentaro!"
A voice cut through the crowds of people moving away as a young man in a tan coat ran over and saw the alleyway. His eyes narrowed when he saw the stray flames and ashes, "Rentaro…" He trailed, unaware that he was being watched from afar.
The Next Day
Swartz was in a bit of a good mood at the moment as he leaned on a railing of a building overlooking an aiport. He clasped his hands together and smiled as he watched the sun rise. After what he liked to call a small tantrum, he had composed himself. And of course he had gone to investigate what was going on. While nothing had stuck at first he had managed to catch wind of various odd events happening and eventually found the culprit.
"Someone's pretty happy," Uhr remarked as he walked over with Ora.
"Yeah," Ora agreed. "You're usually serious, and recently you've been anxious… but now you seem relieved."
Finis smiled and walked into view from the opposite end, "That's because his next plan is in motion, isn't it?"
"History as we know it is shifting, even more so now," Swartz explained.
"Well we are trying to change the history of Oma Zi-O," Uhr pointed out. "But even I could tell you that."
"Ever since our plots in September there's been a change," Ora added. "Remember that Roze showed up and the Heisei Riders haven't vanished yet."
"But those don't work in our favor," Swartz replied. "Now however, we have a chance to guide the flow of time to our advantage."
"And how do you suppose we do that?" Uhr asked. "Which Rider are we going after next?"
Swartz however could only grin as he knew things were shaping up to change, "One that technically doesn't exist yet."
Ruby gave a light yawn as she stretched, exiting her room after getting up and planned on getting some coffee started. That was until she heard a knock, "Huh?"
Walking over to the front door she managed to make herself semi-presentable before noticing that something had been slipped underneath. Picking it up it was soon revealed to be a vertical envelope with the word 'challenge' written on in thick black ink. Removing a letter and small map from the envelope Ruby's eyes narrowed before she rubbed them so she could properly read. Staring at the letter for a while she quickly opened the door and looked around only to see no one in the area.
"What's wrong?" Blake's voice called from behind.
Ruby sighed and closed the door before handing Blake the Challenge Letter, "You're going to want to read this."
Blake could only stare a bit as she took the letter to read it before she gave a look of confusion, "I… wait what?"
'Dear the Supposed Kamen Rider Shinobi'
'It has come to my attention that you are the one behind my friends suffering. Thus I see it fit to prove to you who the superior ninja is. I will wait for however long I need to, but you are to come to the location on the map attached. There we shall settle our score and I shall show you that you will not get away with waltzing around with things that are not yours'
'From Your Ultimate Rival'
"Yeah I know," Ruby shrugged. "This is weird."
"How did they know I was a Rider? And what do they even mean by this?" Blake questioned.
"Not sure," Ruby admitted. "Especially with the way they talk in that too."
"Yeah, Supposed Kamen Rider Shinobi," Blake added. "Not to mention that 'things that are not yours' line too. Shinobi doesn't exist, so I'm pretty sure I'm as genuine as I can be."
"That… is weird," Weiss' voice came as she stepped out of her and Ruby's shared room. "I remember talking about Shinobi in particular yesterday with Sougo."
"You did?" Blake asked.
"Yeah, he mentioned having a weird dream where the world was filled with ninja's in about 3 years time," Weiss explained. "He saw Shinobi fighting but it wasn't you, it was some guy named Rentaro."
Ruby hummed and put a hand to her chin, "Ninja's in 2022 and a Shinobi that's not Blake?"
"Maybe we should talk to the others," Blake suggested. "Try and figure out a plan."
"Right," Ruby gave a nod. "I really don't like that we were greeted with something like this to start the morning."
At 9-5-DO everyone was enjoying breakfast at the moment, though it did feel a bit odd. Since now it was only Sougo, Geiz and Tsukuyomi living together the dining room felt a bit emptier. Despite Ruby's presence making the space more cluttered, it still felt as though there was a missing piece.
Or at least two missing pieces as Junichiro wasn't sitting down admittedly. He was going constantly from the kitchen all the way to the front of the store. After making quite a few trips, Sougo had finally noticed.
"Eh?" Sougo got up and followed his uncle to the front before noticing that Woz was at the front table being served. Sougo smiled, "Oh Woz! I haven't seen you since last year so Happy New Year."
"Happy New Year," Woz greeted in a more stoic fashion.
"Why are you even here?" Geiz questioned as he came up with Tsukuyomi. "I figured this would be the last place you'd show up at given everything that's happened."
"Hold on," Tsukuyomi put a hand on her friend shoulder, "Woz knows that, he probably has a reason to come here."
Junichiro nodded and crossed his arms, "Right, I bet it's a good reason! Like another clock!" He then hurried off to the kitchen to keep on serving Woz.
"As wise as ever, Tsukuyomi, I appreciate your understanding," Woz gave a nod, standing and turning to face the trio. "An Another Rider has appeared."
Sougo grimaced, "Woz, last time you straight up said that…"
"Yes, it was Another W," Woz gave a nod. "And it was the start of the bad omen that was Another Kuuga."
"So how bad is it this time?" Tsukuyomi asked.
"It's very much a mystery," Woz admitted. "One victim spontaneously combusted, One was swept up by a tornado while indoors, and another drowned but there was no water."
Sougo was noting the attacks used and was curious, "What era is this Rider from? You'd know because of your book, right Woz?"
"Actually, this is beyond my knowledge…" Woz admitted and held his book close, "It was not recorded here."
"Then we aren't dealing with a Heisei Rider," Tsukuyomi realized.
"I get it now," Geiz was also coming to the same realization as Sougo. "I assume you got this from eyewitnesses, did they see anything off?"
"There were purple flames… the wind was colored purple… and the water found near the victim had a purple tint," Woz added. "This leaves me suspicious on who it might be…"
"Yeah," Sougo gave a nod. "I think that we're dealing with Another Shinobi."
"Is that even possible?" Tsukuyomi asked.
"No doubt the Time Jackers were around when we fought Another Gaim," Geiz agreed. "So now their next move is to try and obtain Team RWBY's powers to get a leg up on us."
"First things first, let's find that Another Rider," Sougo suggested.
Tsukuyomi crossed her arms, "How though?"
Sougo gave a hum before getting a call on his phone, and answering it, "Ruby? Huh, wait what?"
"What's wrong?" Geiz asked.
Sougo lowered his arm and looked at his friends, "Uh, I think we might have a lead?"
Another Shinobi was currently dealing with another gang member who was driving casually along an empty street. The way he dealt with this one was simple, generating a sandstorm within the car itself and burying the thug causing the car to go out of control.
"Wow, Swartz really picked a winner with you," Uhr skipped along as he watched Another Shiobi vanish. He gave a smirk, "Let's see those girls try and mess with our plans now that we have a counter."
~Uhr was unexpectedly involved in a car accident~
Uhr heard a familiar voice spew the narration before noticing that the car began to swerve before tumbling out of control straight towards him. "Not good!" He quickly threw his hands forward and froze time, "Too close!"
"I have a question for you," Behind him was the silver clad Woz, the man giving a smirk as he saw Uhr turn around in surprise.
"So 2019 and you decided on a new look huh?" Uhr asked. "Are you sad that your little Overlord doesn't want to be one anymore?"
The silver dressed Woz scoffed and simply pointed his tablets pen at Uhr, "I'm a little curious about the Another Rider from earlier."
"You really think I'll answer your questions when you don't answer mine?" Uhr asked and turned to walk away.
"You will," The silver dressed Woz hissed, "Whether you want to or not."
~Once time unfreezes, Uhr faces grave danger~
The silver clad Woz wrote it on his Future Note and despite the odds of it happening, the sentence did occur. Time had resumed and the tumbling car had shifted perfectly towards Uhr. Uhr had quickly dodged to the side while freezing time only for time to resume and the car to suddenly warp from its path into the new path where Uhr was. This happened continuously until Uhr was on the ground, freezing time just as the car was about to fall onto him.
"Can you keep time frozen forever?" This Woz questioned as he walked over. "Or will you answer my question?"
"I barely know a thing about that Another Rider!" Uhr panicked and called out. "All I know is its part of Swartz' plan to deal with the new Riders that are helping Zi-O and Roze!"
"You've saved your own life, young one." The silver Woz spoke before taking off while writing.
~The car will miss Uhr~
Uhr winced as time unfroze, the car bouncing and flying over his fallen body before tumbling harmlessly behind him. Uhr took a few deep breaths as he looked around, trying to find his assailant. Watching the entire scene however was Finis who gave a frown.
"Just who are you?" they asked.
Currently, Sougo, Geiz, Tsukuyomi, Weiss and Yang were all at the park bench that was the scene of one of the attacks. Apparently a random gang member was sitting in the area before suddenly combusting and burning, the bench showing scorch and burn markings on it as the center was now broken.
"So why are we doing this again?" Weiss asked.
"Given what you all received, we need to be ready," Geiz answered.
Yang raised an eyebrow, "So this is where one of the victims burned?"
"And there's no sign of fire anywhere else…" Sougo looked around.
"This was the most recent spot though," Tsukuyomi noted. "We should see if there are any clues."
Geiz began to look around before narrowing his eyes and seeing Yang's shadow shift. "Get down!"
Everyone immediately ducked as a smoky shadowy figure launched out of Yang's shadow, it had leapt at Sougo but passed him due to him ducking. The shadowy figure however landed in a nearby shadow and sunk in.
"It's the Another Rider," Weiss called out as she glanced around.
"He came out of Yang's shadow," Geiz said as he began turning and looking. "That's definitely a ninja technique."
"Yeah but I don't think I've ever seen Blake keep to the shadows like this before," Yang called out.
Weiss' eyes narrowed as she saw the shadowy figure launch outwards, "There!"
The shadow suddenly slammed into a defensive glyph and backed off, the shadows bursting off to reveal Another Shinobi.
[RIDER TIME!]
[KAMEN RIDER ZI-O!]
[KAMEN RIDER GEIZ!]
Both Sougo and Geiz were quick to assume their base forms before noticing something was wrong.
"Wait, this wasn't the meeting spot," Sougo pointed towards Another Shinobi, "So it wasn't Another Shinobi that made the letter?"
"Clearly," Geiz hissed out, "Meaning that we've got another issue to deal with."
Weiss and Yang looked at each other and gave a nod, the two readying their transformations. Sougo and Geiz meanwhile charged forward to deal with the Another Rider. The two punched forward only for Another Shinobi to leap backwards, drawing its blade briefly and sending out a slash of energy towards the two.
Sougo and Geiz yelled as they were blasted backwards, the two rolling.
"Sougo, Geiz!" Tsukuyomi called out.
"Tsukuyomi give me the other Watch we got from Gaim!" Sougo called out.
"Why?" Tsukuyomi asked.
"We're dealing with a ninja so maybe something from a samurai can stop him!" Sougo called out.
Tsukuyomi gave a nod, taking out the green colored Ride Gadget Watch and tossing it to Sougo.
Sougo quickly grabbed it before gasping as it shined a bright green.
[SUIKA ARMS!]
"Ooh!" Yang called out when she heard the announcement, pausing on transforming. She had remembered what the Kurokage had used, "Are we getting a giant robot?!"
"Ohhhhhhh…!" Sougo looked up as the Ride Gadget transformed into a humanoid shape in mid-air before following it as it slammed into the ground. His amazement began to die down though when he saw that it had not changed size at all. "Huh?"
[THE KODAMA?]
"…This is a joke right?" Weiss asked.
For all intents and purposes, it was a Ridewatch that unfolded and revealed a Suika Arms styled robot, but one that was the side of a Ridewatch. It shook its arms and began to race from side to side in a rapid fashion. It then leapt towards Another Shinobi only to get smacked away with easy.
"No, wait! Don't…!" Sougo held his hand out in a pleading fashion as he saw the little Ride Gadget fly off to the side.
"No I think… I think that's what it's supposed to do," Tsukuyomi managed to get out before hanging her head.
Yang gave a groan, "Lame!"
Blake meanwhile was suspicious from the get go on the meeting location, it was a forest nearby one of the old castles that were around here and there. Needless to say she didn't exactly like how much cover her opponent had on her. But that did work to her advantage so she could only put up with it. She had still found it odd how no one was around aside from signs pointing the way forward.
Upon reaching a clearing in the forest she was greeted by a puff of smoke in front of her, soon seeing a young man in bright blue pants, a sweater vest and a brown coat land a few feet away from her.
The young man gave a sneer, "There you are, Fake Shinobi!"
Blake blinked a few times, "I really have no idea what you're talking about."
"Don't play dumb," The young man called out before taking out a golden gourd with orange rope, and a black three pronged shuriken emblem on the front.
"That gourd…!" Blake's eyes widened.
Uncorking the gourd and pouring it down the young man's waist was surrounded by orange liquid that carried small buzzing hornets, forming a blank Ziku Driver base just like Blake's. He held his own Shuriken Starter that had a blue elongated point and a three pronged curved orange shuriken. Placing it on his Driver he struck a pose as the standby played.
"Henshin!"
Spinning the shuriken on his driver an orange scroll formed and unraveled alongside a robot similar to Blake's, this one however shifted into a mechanical hornet.
[FUNDARI? KETTARI? HATTARI! KAMEN RIDER HATTARI!]
Soon enough the armor formed, a black bodysuit with bright blue digital lines running up along it that were covered by various orange wrappings. He had orange accented armor pieces alongside an orange chest plate with an orange and blue accented sash going across. His helmet was interesting, having a primarily orange head with a dark blue almost sunglass shaped visor, the three pointed shuriken on his forehead and only leaving the left half of the visor revealed.
"Kamen Rider… Hattari?" Blake questioned as she took a step back.
"I'll defeat you before you transform," Hattari called out as he launched himself forward to strike at his opponent only to gasp out, sparks flying as he was struck by an unseen attack. There was no surprise when the Rider transformed into a log with an orange hood over it.
Blake glanced up and was struck by Hattari who had stabbed down with his Ninjato. To his surprise Blake had suddenly combusted into flames. He gave a gasp as the fire exploded and sent him onto his back.
"Sorry but even without my Rider form my Semblance is just as deadly," Blake said as she was off to the side, having used Shadow and Fire Dust for her trap.
Hattari quickly jumped from his back to his feet before gasping out as sparks flew from his back. When he turned he saw Ruby land in a burst of rose petals. "Huh, who are you?!"
"The owner of the apartment you sent that challenge letter to," Ruby remarked as she dismissed Crescent Rose, already having her Ziku Driver prepped. "Your opponents are us."
"Two on one seems a bit unfair… doesn't it?" Hattari questioned as he looked between the two.
"You attacked me before I could transform," Blake answered as she opened up her gourd and readied her transformation. "I'm pretty sure you're fair game."
"Now let's wrap this up," Ruby said as she readied her Silver Roze Ridewatch. "Then we'll sort out our questions later."
"Henshin!"
[KAMEN RIDER~! (RIDER~!) SILVER! (SILVER!) SILVER~! ROZE!]
[DARE JA? ORE JA? NINJA! SHINOBI KENZAN!]
Kamen Rider's Silver Roze and Shinobi stood on both sides of Hattari, both drawing their Silver Crescent and Gambol Shroud/Ninjato respectively. After a few leaves blew in the wind all three combatants yelled out, Ruby shooting, Blake jumping into the air and Hattari yelping out as he tried to figure out how to deal with the two.
Another Shinobi leapt backwards as he was assaulted by various blasts from Geiz and Sougo's arrow and gun. He put his hands together as a tornado formed, deflecting the shots away from him.
[DEKAI! HAKAI! GOKAI! KAMEN RIDER KIKAI!]
Yang launched in with Ember Celic, rolling and let herself to get hit in the chest by Another Shinobi's left fist. The monster Rider was surprised when his punching arm was suddenly grabbed, Yang glancing and noticing the date on his arm. Not asking any questions she immediately went into punching and unleashing Dust shells from her free arm.
Another Shinobi backed up before getting grabbed by the shoulder, so he spun and tried to smack whoever was behind him.
[FASHION! PASSION! QUESTION! QUIZ!]
Weiss had immediately dropped down as her transformation completed, gathering red electrical energy within her right hand. She clenched her hand into a fist and launched upwards, unleashing an electrical strike against Another Shinobi's chin.
The Another Rider growled as he staggered before crouching forward and flipping backwards, avoiding a quick punch from Yang.
Yang managed to right herself before standing near Weiss, "I see that you're getting the hang of it."
"What can I say," Weiss admitted. "I'm just taking some lessons to heart."
Another Shinobi looked around him to see that he was surrounded on two fronts. Clasping his hands together and forming various symbols he slammed his palms into the ground. What everyone didn't expect were suddenly geysers or water to erupt from the ground, forcing both sets of Riders to stagger back as they got soaked.
By the time everyone had recovered Another Shinobi had completely vanished, its tactics so fast that even Tsukuyomi couldn't keep up with it as she hurried over.
"Jeez, we're soaking wet, and he got away…" Sougo shivered as he shook his armor.
"I am so glad I have armor on right now," Weiss groaned.
"If there's any doubt about whom our Another Rider was this time…" Tsukuyomi started.
"I question how they even created one," Geiz pointed out. "Did anyone catch the year?"
"Yeah, it was written oddly but well… I think it was 2022," Yang replied.
"2022?" Geiz and Weiss asked before looking over at Sougo.
"That's… that's really weird," Sougo admitted, finding it odd that Another Shinobi had the same date as the year he dreamed of.
"Let's try and get over to where Blake and Ruby are," Geiz suggested as he brought out and mounted his Ride Striker.
Yang quickly got on behind Geiz, "Let's go."
Geiz gave a nod before taking off on his Ride Striker with Yang.
"Hey, wait up!" Sougo called out as he realized the flaw in their plan before looking around, "There are only two of us with bikes right now…"
"You two go on ahead," Tsukuyomi suggested. "It might be better for all the Riders to group up first."
"Alright," Sougo gave a nod before grabbing his Bike Ridewatch. "Let's get going Weiss."
"Right," Weiss gave a nod.
~Zi-O attempts to pursue on his bike, but he has an accident~
Sougo gave a yelp as the Ridewatch was suddenly launched out of his hand. He soon saw it dropping down some steps, "Hey, w-wait!" He quickly leapt after it.
"Hey, be careful!" Weiss called out.
Sougo quickly grabbed it and rolled, landing on his back, "That was close!"
"You need to be more careful," Weiss shook her head as she and Tsukuyomi rushed down the steps to check on Sougo.
"What just happened?" Tsukuyomi asked.
"No idea…" Sougo admitted. "But I get the feeling something weird is going on…"
"How perceptive of you, overlord," A familiar voice called out to the three.
Everyone turned to soon see the silver Woz up above on the steps they had gone down.
"Woz…?" Tsukuyomi asked. "Did you do that?"
"No," Sougo spoke as he stood up, already feeling something different about this Woz's presence, "I don't think that's the same Woz we know…"
"Are you sure?" Tsukuyomi asked.
"Yeah no, something feels awfully weird about him…" Weiss trailed as she stared at the new Woz.
"Who am I?" The silver clad Woz asked as he held a hand on his open Future Note. "I am no more, no less, than Woz. A Woz is a Woz, of course."
~Suddenly Zi-O was bombarded by strong winds~
A strong tornado of wind began to form around the three, Sougo noticed this and quickly shoved the two away, "Back up!" He called before yelling out as the tornado of wind picked up several pieces of roadwork equipment close to it and began pelting him with it.
Weiss' eyes widened as she staggered back from the force of the winds, "What?"
Tsukuyomi held her arms up as she tried to keep from blowing away, "Wait, is he controlling the future somehow?"
The silver Woz wagged his finger before closing his Future Note, "Not controlling, merely guiding the path to the future."
"Uh… why I am I see two of everything…" Sougo staggered back and forth as the winds stopped, barely falling but being caught by Weiss.
"Oh, that's an idea…" The silver Woz mused, "What if I wrote 'Zi-O was struck down by the mysterious visitor from the future?'… Shall we find out?"
Before the silver Woz's pen could move towards the Future Note his hand was suddenly grasped by a grey cloth, the culprit being the normal Woz.
"You… Who are you?" Woz asked.
Weiss could only look back and forth alongside Tsukuyomi, the two deeply confused and concerned by the two Woz's being in the same spot at the same time.
"Ah, it is a pleasure to make my acquaintance," The silver Woz smiled. "You must be the iteration of me that acts as Oma Zi-O's retainer."
Before any more words could be said however, Woz quickly retracted his scarf before quickly wrapping it around himself, Sougo, Weiss and Tsukuyomi. The four of them soon vanished into thin air after it wrapped fully around them and retracted.
"He ran," The silver Woz remarked, giving a sneer before writing in his Future Note, "As if it would be so easy to escape me."
"Come now! Is that all you've got!" Hattari called out as he managed to flip away from several of Ruby's enhanced energy shots. He quickly swung to his side, clashing his ninjato against Blake's Gambol Shroud.
Blake gave a light growl before flipping away, spinning her Shuriken Starter and holding a her hands forward.
[STRONG NINPO!]
"Too hot, way too hot," Hattari laughed out as he dodged the streams of purple flames that Blake had sent at him.
[NAIAGARA NINPO!]
Hattari jumped and spun, slashing forward and unleashing a large of water against Blake. The purple ninja Rider retaliated by continuing the Strong Ninpo, trying to use the flames to turn the water into stream. The wave was too great however, curving and slamming into Blake to soak her.
"Blake!" Ruby called out before aiming a shot at Hattari who was struck only to turn into a log, "What?"
"Its fine, I'm only soaked," Blake called out as she tried to shake the water off only to feel something behind her. She quickly turned and slashed with her Ninjato, not surprised to see Hattari dodging away.
"I'll capture you first and then deal with your shiny friend," Hattari called out before initiating another Ninpo.
[KACHIKOCHI NINPO!]
"Not a chance!" Blake quickly pressed her hands together into a sign.
[FLAME NINPO!]
An icy blue wind shot out from Hattari's hands, Blake attempting to form a stream of flames only for the flames to sputter due to how soaking wet she was. She had just barely managed to form a burst of small flames in her hand when she was caught by the icy wind. She barely let out a gasp as she was frozen completely in a block of ice.
"Oh no," Ruby quickly took aim only to see that Hattari had vanished, "Huh?"
"You caught me off guard before but not now!" Hattari leapt down from the trees to stab at Ruby only to be met by a flurry of silver petals. He coughed out before noticing she had dodged to the side, "Just what kind of technique is that?"
"Wouldn't you like to know?" Ruby remarked as she took aim.
[RYOSHI SASU!]
Hattari gave a yelp as he began dodging and leaping to avoid blasts of light, "Light powered techniques?!" He leapt up, spreading both legs out as he dodged another blast that scorched a tree it hit, "Fine then!"
[FANTASTIC NINPO!]
Hattari leapt up into the air with a trail of orange wasps behind him, kicking out as a shuriken projection formed at the sole of his right boot.
"Not that smart!" Ruby called out and took aim, pulling the trigger.
Hattari kicked out only to suddenly vanish from sight, the blast of light shooting into the sky. Hattari soon appeared from a flurry of orange wasps behind Ruby. With his ninjato filled with energy he spun and slashed at her back.
[SILVER HENKEI!]
Ruby gritted her teeth as she blocked the slash by twisting her body, having shifted Silver Crescent into its spear mode to help with her defense. She quickly pushed away before spinning and twirling her spear.
"Impossible!" Hattari called out.
"I'm friends with a ninja, and given your vanishing acts you didn't think I was going to counter?" Ruby asked as she placed a hand on her hip.
"Uh… uh…" Hattari stammered.
"Also," Ruby quickly turned and threw her spear towards her frozen friend.
"Ah, no you don't!" Hattari was ready to throw his ninjato to intercept it when he was suddenly shot, gasping out as he backed away.
Ruby had drawn out Crescent Rose in its rifle form, giving a smirk behind her helmet as she saw her spear rush past and only just scrape against Blake's ice prison.
"Ha, it didn't work!" Hattari called out only to yelp as he began dodging back and batting away more blasts from Ruby's main rifle.
"Why are you after Blake?!" Ruby asked.
"Because I need Shinobi's power for myself," Hattari called out.
"Why?" Ruby asked. "Why not just ask her to help."
"Because she is not the true Shinobi," Hattari answered. "She has no stake in our fight, thus I must take and use her power for myself!"
"Yeah, well you aren't getting it!" Ruby called out as she kept firing at Hattari.
Woz had managed to retreat with Sougo, Tsukuyomi and Weiss at a nearby factory warehouse, Sougo having called up Geiz and Yang to let them know what happened.
"There you guys are," Yang hurried over.
Geiz however needed his questions answered, "There was a second Woz? What do you mean by that?"
"Woz, what's going on?" Sougo asked.
"My over-" Woz paused before clearing his throat, "If I knew I would surely explain. Even I am confounded by this development."
Sougo noticed Woz's discomfort when he had paused and was ready to speak up until suddenly he saw a glint out of the corner of his eye, "Watch out!"
Another Shinobi soon leapt into view, shooting past the group and causing them all to scatter. The Another Rider drew out three pronged claws and began swiping at the group to spread them out. Surprisingly only Sougo and Geiz were fast on the draw, near instantly transforming in sync.
"Henshin!"
[RIDER TIME!]
[KAMEN RIDER ZI-O!]
[KAMEN RIDER GEIZ!]
The two rushed forward to draw Another Shinobi away from the inside of the building in order to gain more room to fight outside.
The rest regrouped but that was when Tsukuyomi noticed something odd, "How did he find us?" She asked before looking at Weiss and Yang, "And why aren't you two transforming?"
"W-Wait you're right," Weiss looked up in surprise as she looked around. "For some reason I didn't feel the urgency to transform just now."
Yang raised an eyebrow, having the same feeling that kept her from wanting to transform, "You too?"
"One he didn't, and two there's only one reason as to why you'd not immediately want to join in," Woz suddenly realized. "I believe it was arranged with that strange book the other version of myself has."
"Precisely," The silver Woz's voice cut through the area as he walked into view. "I uncovered the future using this book. All of you, the Another Rider included, were simply led here as a result."
Yang's eyes widened as she looked back and forth, she had thought Woz was just being clever and hiding something. But now Woz's original reaction to Blake's remark made sense, there were just two Woz's now.
With a snap of his fingers the silver Woz unleashed a purple wave that suddenly caused the area around them to disappear and reveal they were actually in an open space near a set of warehouses.
"Who in the world are you?" Tsukuyomi questioned.
"What are you after?" Woz asked.
"Why are you even doing this?" Weiss added.
They were only met by laughter as the silver clad Woz turned, "I'll tell you one thing for now. I'm here to take Shinobi's watch."
"What do you want with Blake?" Yang's eyes went red for a second, "Are you the reason Another Shinobi exists?"
"No, that would be the desperation of your current opponent," The silver Woz explained. "Of course an Another Rider needs a solid date to be created, and Shinobi being born in Remnant would cause this to be an issue… well if Shinobi didn't have the potential to exist on Earth in the future."
"You were on Remnant?" Tsukuyomi asked before gasping, "No wait…"
Weiss had come to the same realization, "The night we looked for Oscar… I knew something felt odd about that book. You used it back then didn't you?"
"Correct," The silver dressed Woz smiled.
"This explains it all then…" Woz's eyes widened as he continued, "Not only were three unknown Riders born in Remnant… but as a result their presence as potential futures here are part of the many branching paths of time now due to my Overlord's journey there. Am I wrong?"
Of course the only thing they were met with was the silver dressed Woz's laughter.
[ARMOR TIME! KAMEN RIDE! WOW! DECADE! DECADE! DE~CADE!]
Further ahead, both Geiz and Sougo were having a tough time with Another Shinobi due to his quick movements. The monstrous ninja had also brought out a sword to help keep them at a short distance as well.
Sougo drew out the Heisaber, blocking a slash from Another Shinobi before slashing forward. Sparks had managed to fly as he had hit Another Shinobi with a clean cut. He then jabbed forward, surprised to see the Another Rider back up so far by simply kicking back.
Another Shinobi's eyes glowed bright as he launched forward, becoming a purple blur that began assaulting Sougo on all sides.
Geiz had tried to close in only to get struck by a stray attack from the Another Rider, "Zi-O!"
Sougo gasped as he was staggered by the attacks, "Geiz, I need Faiz!"
Geiz gave a nod, quickly tossing it towards Sougo who had just gotten struck by another high speed attack.
[FINAL FORM TIME! F-F-F-FAIZ!]
Sougo gasped out as he entered Decade Armor's Faiz Axel Form, switching the Heisaber to a reverse grip he pressed down on the Axel Watch.
[START UP!]
Soon enough blurs of black and purple began slamming against each other at high speeds. Both Another Shinobi and Sougo could be seen briefly as they paused or clashed during their battle. Eventually Sougo had landed with his back facing, turning the dial on the Heisaber. Of course his form had flashed as ten seconds had passed, the Final Form Time disappearing.
[DEFORMATION]
Another Shinobi had sheathed his sword during the battle, going for his claws to attack. He had appeared behind and above Sougo, lunging downwards to strike at his back.
[HEY! FAIZ! FAIZ! DUAL TIME BREAK!]
Sougo quickly turned and slashed at Another Shinobi just as he was clawed at, both attacks hitting and causing a red and purple burst of energy that sent both Riders, real and fake, skidding backwards away from each other.
Another Shinobi however managed to use his agility, just barely landing on his knees. He then opened his mouth, unleashing a flurry of purple fireballs out towards the two Riders. Sougo yelled out as he was blasted backwards, reverting to his base form. Geiz had staggered back and been sent onto his back as a result, still managing to keep his transformation.
Of course Geiz suddenly got up as he was approached by none other than the silver dressed Woz who had a stern look on his face.
It wasn't long before the others had arrived, having chased after the silver Woz who had chosen to suddenly leave. But to everyone's surprise, including Geiz' who had gotten in a defensive stance, the silver clad Woz had kneeled in front of him.
"It's an honor to meet you, my Savior," The silver Woz put a hand to his chest. "When the Day of Oma arrives, Oma Zi-O is destroyed, and it is none other than you who changes history! Geiz Revive."
Geiz could only stare at the new Woz, "Geiz Revive?"
Yang's eyes widened as she recalled the silver Woz's words when he had killed Adam. "It's Geiz?"
'For you see those two are the key to my Savior's victory'
"I have come to 2019 to support you in your battles," The silver Woz explained as he brought out his Beyondriver, attaching it to his stomach as he prepped his Ridewatch.
[WOZ! ACTION!]
In a swift motion he had activated his personal Ridewatch before setting it in place, the techno standby playing as he spread his arms out.
"Henshin," With a swing of his arm he closed up the Driver and initiated the transformation.
[TOUEI! FUTURE TIME!]
[SUGOI! JIDAI! MIRAI! KAMEN RIDER WOZ! WOZ!]
In an instant he was transformed into his Rider form, everyone but Yang staring in shock at this new development.
"My name is Kamen Rider Woz," The silver Woz called out as he raised his right arm, "The visionary of the future!"
"Woz just…" Tsukuyomi trailed.
"This is impossible," Woz stared before glancing at Yang, remembering the odd words Blake had spoken to him after the battle in Argus.
Sougo finally managed to stand, "H-He became a Kamen Rider."
Summoning his Jikan Despear in its spear mode, the silver Woz quickly went to work. With his spears range he was able to easily smack and stab at Another Shinobi despite the monstrous ninja's attempts to dodge.
~Another Shinobi struggles but he is kicked into defeat by Woz~
Yang's eyes narrowed when she heard the narration while the alternate Woz had his Future Note open. She realized that he purposely had chosen the word defeat in this case.
Switching to a series of spinning and jumping kicks the alternate Woz had an easy time landing powered up hits against Another Shinobi.
[BEYOND THE TIME!]
From the Beyondriver's center screen came a holographic green rimmed cube with Woz's face on it, it passing Another Shinobi as it spun behind him rapidly. Another Shinobi was not about to let this happen, holding his hands up before charging forward.
Woz rushed forward, a green whirlwind surrounding him as green 'kick' katakana formed and swirled around him as he jumped up and performed a corkscrew kick. Just as he reached Another Shinobi the kick and katakana lined up perfectly as he slammed his foot into monstrous Riders chest.
[TIME EXPLOSION!]
Despite the attempt to interrupt the alternate Woz's kick, the Another Rider was unable to do anything as the kick had landed.
The Another Rider yelled out as he was thrown into the cube, the cube solidifying and capturing him inside. Suddenly the front of it became a clock, the hands rotating until both hit midnight. An explosion of energy occurred, exploding and reverting Another Shinobi's transformation, the host of the Another Rider powers falling to the ground.
Sougo however took notice of the host immediately, while there were some differences, the host resembled the young man he had seen in his dream, "Rentaro…?"
Weiss' eyes widened when she recognized the fallen Rentaro as the man she had bumped into yesterday.
"You asked earlier who I was." The silver Woz started as he held up a finger. "I am here from another future, one different from the one you're familiar with."
Weiss raised an eyebrow, "A different future?"
"Correct. One without Oma ZI-O," The alternate Woz answered.
Yang's eyes widened, "Wait, seriously?"
Geiz let out a light gasp, "A future without Oma Zi-O?!"
"Correct, my Savior!" The alternate Woz called out. "You were responsible for the destruction of Oma Zi-O's history, and heralding the beginning of a new history!"
"Wait… seriously?" Geiz asked, before glancing back at Sougo. He knew he wanted some kind of answer on whether or not Sougo choosing the path of a Rider had affected things. But the new Woz's words seemed to imply that Sougo went back on the path of Oma Zi-O. Despite that the future of Oma Zi-O was now in question thanks to the new Woz.
"Now this leaves the question…" The silver Woz trailed, "What will the rest of you, who would deny this future, do?"
"Well now, two Woz's… this is troublesome," Swartz voice called out as he came into view.
"Swartz…" Geiz growled out.
"Whoa, okay, first time seeing one of them!" Yang called and raised her fists.
Weiss' faced slightly scrunched up, "What is with that outfit?"
"No matter what you do, you cannot win against me," Swartz answered as he looked down at the fallen Rentaro. "After all, a Ridewatch is needed to defeat an Another Rider and given the uniqueness of these new ones… I doubt they can be created in the same way as prior ones."
"What do you mean?" Tsukuyomi asked.
Woz however already had an idea, "I see… that's your game."
"How very perceptive, Sir Swartz. You are quick to catch on," The alternate Woz complimented.
Swartz however could only grin, "Even if the Another Rider is beaten I'll still win."
Rentaro was finally getting his bearings when he gasped out, Swartz having dug into his chest. "W-What…"
Swartz soon pulled out a fully formed Anotherwatch, a glint in his eye as it seemed as though things would finally go his way. Without another word he activated it and shoved it into Rentaro.
[SHINOBI!]
Rentaro gasped out as he was transformed yet again into Another Shinobi, his monstrous instincts taking over as he performed a hand sign to sink into the shadows around him. Swartz meanwhile gave a smug smile before turning and walking off.
"It seems he got away," The alternate Woz remarked as he dismissed his transformation. He gave a smile as he turned towards everyone else, "Very well then, I do hope we meet again soon, my Savior." He held a hand close as he bowed forward. He then raised his head, "You as well, Riders of hope, overlord, and my other self."
The six of them could only stare as the alternate Woz walked off into the distance, clearly something needed to be done. But they also needed to figure out what was going on with Blake and Ruby.
(Insert Start: IZANAGI by Sakuramen and Hideya Tawada)
"Truly I have you at a disadvantage!" Hattari called out as he had used his water and ice techniques to form a multitude of ice walls all around him.
"Will you just fight normally," Ruby growled out as she was forced to use Crescent Rose in its scythe formation to try and cut through the ice.
"Sorry but with my friends life on the line I cannot do that," Hattari answered before walking over to the frozen Blake. "Now then…"
The ice suddenly began to crack, the cracks growing out from the gash that Ruby had made earlier. It wasn't long before the ice suddenly shattered as Blake was able to fully break out.
Hattari gasped out as he was pelted by the chunks of ice, staggering back as a result.
[FLAME NINPO!]
Blake shivered as she held her arms close, fire coating her body as she warmed herself up, "Couldn't have been a bit better on that aim Ruby?"
"Sorry," Ruby called out as she used Petal Burst to launch into the air, landing near her friend. "This guys bumbling but surprisingly effective."
Hattari gasped out as he held his chest, "B-Bumbling?!"
"You've got that right," Blake sighed.
"Let's finish this off already," Ruby called out before looking at her friend, giving a nod.
"Right,"
[FINISH TIME!]
Ruby loaded her Roze Ridewatch onto Crescent Rose, gathering energy as Blake placed a hand on the weapon, the fire spreading from her to the blade of the scythe.
[ROZE KAMA KAMA CUTTING!]
Hattari gasped out and quickly leapt backwards as he saw a multitude of fire slashes rocketing towards him. Landing in the center of the arena he gave a sigh of relief when he managed to dodge only to realize something was wrong. The slashes had all curved and gone past him, all cutting against the ice walls he had put up. In an instant the finisher powered flames had melted the ice and caused a mist to form all around.
"What… what is this?" Hattari questioned.
Suddenly to his right he saw Blake, he began to turn to take aim when he suddenly saw Blake in another corner. Looking around, Hattari would soon realize he was surrounded by four Blake's, all clad in Shinobi's armor. Each of them raised their arms, holding Gambol Shroud in one hand and their ninjato in reverse grip in the other.
[VICTORY NINJUTSU!]
Blake and her clones rushed forward their weapons shining a bright purple. The four became blurs as they all struck consecutively, one after another, their slashes containing so much power they slowly cut through the mist.
Hattari could only yell out as he was bombarded by a multitude of slashes, his body becoming littered with glowing purple cuts. By the time the assault had finished the mist had been cleared and only one Blake was left, crouching as she held her arms out. She leapt forward, spinning and kicking out, slamming her foot into Hattari's chest.
Ruby could only watch in slight awe as she saw Hattari fly backwards towards a thick pile of leaves, exploding and sending the leaves raining down.
"When did you get so stylish?" Ruby chuckled as she walked over.
"What can I say? Probably taking after you," Blake admitted.
(Insert End)
The two them dismissed their transformations before walking over towards the fallen Hattari who had been kicked out of his transformation. He gave a few stammering noises as he was currently dazed by the assault. Blake was quick to act, taking the gourd that acted as his transformation gear.
"So what do we do with him?" Blake asked.
"We need him to answer our questions," Ruby admitted. "But keeping that gourd on us would be good for now."
"Right," Blake went over to wait for her opponent to recover.
Ruby meanwhile heard her Faizphone X ringing, picking it up and answering it, "Yes?"
"Ruby, are you guys alright?" Geiz's voice asked on the other end.
"Yeah, we just got finished dealing with a bit of a surprise," Ruby admitted. "You guys aren't going to believe this."
"I could say the same thing."
"Wait," Ruby started. "What happened on your end?"
"It'll be best if we all meet up at your apartment for a meeting. We've got a lot to talk about."
"Sure, just uh, expect us to have one more person with us than usual," Ruby answered.
"What's that supposed to mean?"
"Trust me, like I said, you aren't going to believe this." Ruby said before hanging up and giving a sigh. "Well this just got crazier."
"Yeah, whatever's happening doesn't sound good," Blake gave a nod before seeing the rival ninja Rider wake up.
The young man winced as he slowly sat up before realizing something was wrong. In an instant he patted himself down, "My gear…" He soon saw Blake holding onto it, "H-Hey give it back!"
Blake quickly moved away as Ruby grabbed the young man's arm to keep him still.
"Alright," Ruby said. "Listen, clearly there's some big misunderstanding. We need you to come with us but only if you promise you'll hear us out and won't attack us."
The young man looked at Ruby and then at Blake before giving a sigh, "Fine…"
"What's your name anyway?" Ruby asked as she let go.
The young man fully stood and rubbed his wrist, "Isamichi Konjo."
"Nice to meet you," Ruby smiled.
"You seem to be acting pretty nice for a guy who just attacked you," Isamichi raised an eyebrow.
"You mentioned a friend you needed to save," Ruby replied. "So I want to believe because of that, you aren't that bad of a guy."
"Just a bumbling one who has no actual tact," Blake added.
"Yeah pretty much," Ruby admitted.
Isamichi could only give a nervous chuckle as he saw the two girls insult him so casually, "Uh…" He cleared his throat, "Anyway what I said was true, I was given this power so I could claim Shinobi's powers to save my friend."
"Wait, you were given it?" Blake asked.
Ruby crossed her arms, "This is new… who gave it to you?"
"It was this guy in silver clothing, it looked very expensive," Isamichi admitted. "So I thought he was like the owner of a tech company with like a fancy tablet."
Blake's eyes widened, "What was his name?"
"Huh?" Ruby turned and noticed the worry on her friends face, "Blake what's wrong?"
"I think he said his name was… Was? Or was it Waz? No, no wait…" Isamichi thought a bit before snapping his fingers, "He said his name was Woz!"
Ruby's eyes widened as she turned, "Woz?!"
To Be Continued…
Next Time:
"We can work together to help him."
"I don't need help!"
"On the Day of Oma, you will defeat Zi-O."
"I won't let Blake lose her powers."
"This is the moment I've been waiting for!"
Chapter 39: The Futurering Shinobi 2022
Author's Note: Now then, a bit similar but quite different in terms of how things are starting to go. I'll admit that the way the Future Rider Episodes were set up felt fine to me. So the hardest part of all of this was figuring out what to add, what to change, etc. In this case, it was adding Hattari into the mix as I wanted to do some stuff with what little Shinobi lore we got. But this chapter also allowed me to do some fun stuff, I wanted to keep the reaction to the Kodama Suika arms, and I absolutely wanted to do a high speed clash between Decade Armor Axel Form and Another Shinobi. So that was nice to do.
One thing I want to mention though is recently I got a bit of fan art of Kamen Rider Roze. If you ever wanted a more solid idea compared to my description, then look up Kamen Rider Roze by dra4chen on Deviantart. While it deviates slightly from my description it's a pretty solid representation and I appreciate it. Also I got to give kudos to jgresidenevil for suggesting it to dra4chen as well. Figured I'd give that a bit of a spotlight since I always appreciate stuff like that.
Now then I think I've rambled enough, thanks for reading and stay tuned for the next update.
