Chapter 18
"The Mad Hatter, aka 58 year old Jarvis Tetch" Dick stood at the front of the briefing room in the Titan's tower, in front of about 30 officers from the Metropolis Police department. Batgirl had pulled the Arkham Asylum file on Jarvis Tetch up on the large screen behind Robin as he began the briefing,
"Born to Doctor Marian Tetch, father unknown, when he was 9 years old his mother was arrested for using mind control on her patient's, he than lived with his 19 year old aunt Beatrice Tetch and her boyfriend, from what we've gathered they took pretty good care of him" The screen behind him switched to several articles from Gotham City news papers about missing teenage girls "These are a handful of missing teen's we've connected back to Jarvis Tetch, he goes for unhappy and rebellious teens usually with few friends and a broken home life, ages 14 to 19 are his preferred with most of the victim's we've confirmed being 15 or 16" Batgirl now took his place in front of the screen.
"Once he has his victim he uses a similar method of mind control as his mother, usually this will take several days to be effective" The screen switched to several pictures of Prophet "This is Alice codename Prophet, while responding to an emergency in the dock district we were ambushed and she was taken by Tetch" Yet again the screen changed this time a single photo of Alice wearing a two tone gray Titans uniform, with information about her listed beside it.
"We think it best to also warn you about Alice herself, though Alice is not hostile she carries with her at least two spirit's, the best way we can describe it as her having two extra personalities 1 of whom is Vav, who is extremely hostile, the one obvious sign that we know of to identify that Vav is in control is that her eyes are jet black, the second spirit calls itself Raven, though we have had limited contact with her she seems to be non-hostile to those not threatening Alice, if Raven is in control her eyes will be red and a second pair of eyes will appear near her temples" Batgirl now turned the screen off making sure every officer was giving her their full attention "If Vav is in control do not approach, and remember that Alice may not have control of her actions should the other spirit's be in control"
