Once Issei stopped counting, Rias opened her eyes, and she saw that she was on top of a hill. From there, she saw a beautiful landscape of rolling hills, and several acres of forest with several different speeches of animals; both from the supernatural world and the human world. She could also see, from her vantage point, a large lake was a few feet away. Deploying her wings, she glided down into the water, feeling the cool liquid enveloping her body as she went in. When she had finished landing, she noticed that her normal clothing was changed into a beautiful light dress with a crimson red dragon wrapping around her waist. She looked at the flowing river as it reminded her of a favorite place she would go to when she was feeling down. As Rias relaxed in the water, she looked back on the year and a quarter. She had seen Issei at the beginning of his high school years, meeting him once during an open house that also coincided with the school becoming co-ed. Issei did not notice right away as he, his mother, and father along with the other students toured the ground.
She took notice of Issei's gentle heart and while he was as perverted as any teenage boy could be, he was still a very smart and kind person. It is the reason why he was even allowed to go to Kuoh Academy, as Sirzechs and the others on the school's board of directors only wanted those boys entering the academy to have enough sense to not with their third leg and use their actual brains for their studies.
Although Matsuda and Motohama, Issei's more perverted friends, came in because they were two of the few students to get a scholarship that bypassed the school's exams. Issei did very well in the exams and was slated to be a top student to both heiresses' delight, as the decision to co-ed the school was to help the two devil princesses gain new members, especially Rias. As the year went on, both girls would keep an eye out for Issei, as he was a possible addition to their peerages. Unficunaly, Issie's pervetionness started to outshine the benefits of adding him to the peerages, and the possibility of Issei having a sacred gear was small to nill. Sona gave up on Issei as she had her eye's on Saji, another boy who also did very well in the exams and was not as perverted as Issei.
Rias also thought of forgetting Issei, as she needed more members to fight Riser and while Issei showed promise, he was not ready to become a devil. That was until one day, Issei won her heart. She was walking around the town until she stopped at an ice cream shop and got a nice ice cream cone. She had sat down to eat it when Riser appeared and tried to force Rias back to the underworld. She denied him and he threw her ice cream on the ground. After he left, she was upset and while she could have gotten another one, she did not feel like it. Then she saw Issei coming over with two Ice cream cones. Since she was in disguise, He did not know it was her. He handed one of the cones to her and said, "Sorry that your boyfriend was an ass. I hope you are able to get away from him Because he doesn't deserve you."
She did not answer but said thank you for the Ice Cream. She offered to pay him back, but he said not to worry; as a young woman should never be made to be upset or cry. She was glad to be in disguise because she was sore that Issei would be calling her with his eyes. Although she would not mind because she could tell, he would not act on those urges out in public. The two continued to eat in silence as the day turned into evening. She did not even notice that Issei had left, leaving a note that said, "Hope you enjoyed the Ice cream. Hope to see you again."
She blushed as she read it, and knew that she wanted Issei as her man. The perversion would have to go, but she could deal with it as she was also a little perverted. She knew she needed to keep her eyes on him and hoped beyond hope that he was worth it.
It was during her observations of Issei, that she noticed the Fallen Angels following him as well. This confirmed her idea of Issei having sacred gear, as Fallen Angels would only go after humans in the government, large corporations, and those with sacred gear. And since Issei was not the son of a businessman or a government son; it could only be a sacred gear. At first, it was only that of Fallen Raynare. She would see her fellow Issei from time to time like she was studying him just like she was doing. Which was strange as Fallen Angels would just use their bodies to get the target and then take the target or kill them. Raynare was the exact opposite and was in a discourse most of the time. After a few weeks, the blue-haired Kalawamiare and the Bland-Haired Mierrela had also come into town, but they were doing the same thing as raynare and Rias were. Rias sends a letter to her brother, asking him to ask Azazzle about this. She also said that they were not making trouble but it was concerning that the three had not made their intentions known by sending any letters or visits to the devils.
Sona was also worried, but the defense of the town was Rais's responsibility while Sona's was the administrative side. So she told Rais that she would send a formal letter to the Fallen Angel high command and ask them directly. Neither of them got a response from the other side and soon it was the second year of Issei's schooling. At the very beginning of the years was when that man Dorsekes and a flow of ex-exercises started to soar as well as the change in behavior of the three female fallen angels. It was the reason why Rais asked Koneko to watch Issei during the beginning days of the school year.
Even though they never got a clear answer to the reason why the high-ups in the gogerly sent those fallen to kuoh town, it did not matter now as they were all dead. Now she remembers the Chaotic few weeks after Issei joined the peerage. Issei fights the Fallen and helps her in gaining a new member, his transformation into the living embodiment of the Third strongest dragon in exsiecants, and now becoming a wife to a man she had wished to marry. She had always thought she was doomed to marry Riser as she had to admit to herself, even with riser being a champion in the rating games and his peerages weaknesses were open to her taking; she would have not betten Riser. When Issei came and saved her, she felt safe and comforted, and it was no lie when Issei touched the bare skin she blushed. Just remembering the way Issei touched her was making her face red and her lower part wanted him. Unnoticed by her, the water responded to her want and raised the temperature to a level that helped her lower part to relax and stop the want for him.
As she continued to remember a lot of other things, the other girls also found their way to the river. Landing quietly as they could to not disturb Rais, the other girls landed into the water. Unfortunately; Asia, who still was learning how to control her wings and fly, splashed into the river making a large splash. Rais, hearing the splash, opened her eyes and at first, she thought it was Issie. Instead, she saw all of the other girls in the river and saw Asia rub her head as she said "OH, that hurt." Rais smiled as she said, "Hello everyone, I see you all woke up." moving closer to Asia, she placed her hand on her head and said, "don't worry Asia, you will get used to your wings with time. I am sure Issei and the rest of us would help you learn to use them."
Asia nodded her head and then looked around, just like others did when they also woke up. She then asked, "Where are we Rais, and where is Issei? I did not see him." Rais said, "While I don't know where we are, I do know that Issei is near where Kiba is." "Then let's go and find him," Akeno said as the others nodded, they wanted to see the man they are now all married to by dragon law. Rais raised her hand, telling the girls she wanted them to listen. She said "I believe that Issei and Kiba are together for a reason. And I think when they are done with what they are doing, Issei will come to us." Veleana nodded her head in approval as she said, "I also agree with Rias on this. Issei and Requiem had a reason to bring us all here, and we should respect his wishes as his mates." the others thought about what the two said and then nodded that they also agreed with them.
Asia was still wondering where they were and was about to ask her question again when Akane answered, "I believe we are in the mindscape of Issei." "What do you mean mom? I thought we were in another dimension like where the rating games are in." Ravel said.
Akane nodded her head, saying "We are in a different dimension, but it is within Issei's mind. It is a place where only Requiem, Issei and those who he trusts have permission to enter. It is controlled by Issei and time is very different here in this world. A few minutes here could only be a few seconds in the real world. Hell, a full day in this space could only be a few minutes in the real world. It was why, before we came into space, Issei was properly learning from Requiem to bring those who he trusted into this place."
"Wow, How do you know that?" Koneko asked as she was sitting on the lap of Akeno. Akane patted the neco's head, who purred in response, as she said, "I would know as I am friends with some of Tannin's mates; mainly Emilia, Ray, Kerstan, and Moka. They would talk about the amazing dates that Tannin would take them and they were just in his dreamscape. They could spend a whole week in Paris, only for it to be just a day that they were in it. Not only that, the shops, restaurants, and even the hotels were so real that when they returned to the real world, they would have the things Tannin bought for them and would tell me of all the foods they ate. It is the reason why dragons have some of the biggest harems in the supernatural world. They could take a single woman on a week-long vacation, and only be gone for a day, or take all of the women for a lovely time and still be back in time to read a bedtime story to their children."
To say the girls were shocked at this was an understatement. Sure, a few of them studied in the underworld and read about the dragon's history, powers, and lovers. But this information was never in the textbooks or archives they would use or study. Rais asked, "How come we didn't learn about this power until now? Would it be in the textbooks with the powers of dragon's." "Remember who controls the information in the text book's?" Akane asked. Rais frowned as she said "those nobles in the education system, Especially Oliver Themis. I guess I am still a novice to those assholes in the government."
"Yes, Rais. But you don't have to worry about them now as they would have to kill a literal god to touch any of us or our children." Venelana said as she knew if anyone tried to harm them or the eventual children they will have; then that person or group will die, no questions asked. Rias knew about it as well because she remembered when three of Tannin's children were kidnapped, Tannin ate all of the kidnappers; save one who became a literal punching bag for all the wives. Only then did the devils get the person in question to trial. But because of what had happened to him, his mind was so broken; the judge killed him on the spot saying "For the crime of kidnapping and harming a dragon's child, you are sentenced to death immediately."
That is one of the few reasons why the dragons now have a very large area in the underworld to call home now. With Tannin and a few older dragons ruling over them, they were able to live in peace with the other races in the underworld and not be hunted down to extinction. As the Girls listened to Akane tell them about some of the information that she had learned over the years from her friends, Issei and Kiba were in another part of the dreamscape.
