This is the 8th chapter. I don't own the series of My Hero Academia or the series of the Justice League.
Shadow Joestar: Let's not jump the gun just yet, dude. I wouldn't say that Ethan would get into trouble or anything like that. Pop Star was sent by the Justice League to find Ethan Wayne who happens to be Batman. If she was able to find him, then the Justice League might have the chance to recruit him. But that'll come to that in the future chapter, so there you go.
The Bat and the British Assailant
At the Hosu highway roads, a truck is carrying a load of crates out of the city while being escorted by thugs in a car. One of the thugs noticed that the truck is speeding up when he grabs the phone.
"Watch your speed! We don't need the cops or the Pro Heroes pulling you over!"
The driver then pulls the phone while slowing the speed down.
"How far is the turnoff?"
"Couple of miles, but you're right on the interstate out of Musutafu."
Until, a silhouette of a bat flew above them in the sky which it got their attention.
"What was that?"
They looked up and saw a Bat-Glider along with the new Bat, known as Batwoman riding the glider in the sky, descends down towards the truck.
"Batwoman, this is V. You have 4 targets inside of the vehicles, and crates full of weapons. They'll be delivering at the turnoff in a next half an hour." V informed her.
"I read you, and I'm on it." Batwoman said with a smirk as she head towards the truck, but the thugs are wondering who is that vigilante.
"It's Batgirl, ain't it?"
Though, they're close but not quite. Batwoman puts the Bat-Glider on auto pilot as she jumps off and lands on the top of the trailer. She then rushed towards one of the crates, pulls out the batarang, and then cuts the rope while tossing the tarp away. The thugs then realizes that it's not Batgirl at all.
"Geez Louise! It's Batwoman!"
Batwoman then pries the crate open, revealing to be high-tech weapons. Then, the driver head towards next to the truck while the thug was about to use his Quirk to fire at Batwoman, but she quickly throws the batarang at him, causing him to grunt in pain while holding his hand. The other thug from the passenger side of the truck cautiously got out of the vehicle and try to sneak up to Batwoman with the gun on his hand. Batwoman grabs hold of the high-tech weapon while kicking the crate full of weapons, causing it to break and sending the weapons flying right towards the car. The driver was having trouble while tried to avoid the weapons, but one of them hits the windshield, causing it to crack while the thug pulls out a pump-action shotgun as he pumps the gas to speed up next to the truck. Batwoman noticed as she aims the high-tech weapon at them, firing at the car. The driver tried to pull the brakes but it's too late as the plasma laser hits the car, sent it to crash against the road and positioned upside down. The two thugs were able to crawl out of the car, but noticed it's on fire as they quickly ran and the car exploded, knocking them out.
The truck driver noticed that his friends weren't following them as he looks at the rear-view mirror, noticing Batwoman at the top of the trailer which it got him shocked. The other thug managed to climb up at the top as he hides next to the crate. It didn't take long for Batwoman to notice that the thug fires his handgun at her which she quickly ducks down and swings the high-tech weapon, hitting him in the hands and forced him to lose his gun. Batwoman then delivers a spinning back kick to the chin, sending the thug flying and crashed right towards the crate. Batwoman charges after him when he grabs the high-tech weapon as he was about to aim, but she kicks it up which it causes him to shoot at the sky.
The Bat family were heading towards the highway road with Batman and Red Robin on the Batwing while Batgirl on the motorcycle at the highway road. He noticed the beam as he quickly dodges the stray shot.
"Ugh!" Red Robin grunts. "Whoa! Who's having a light show?"
"Batman, Red Robin, I was able to capture those thugs before they make a break for it." Batgirl informed them. "What I learned from them is that Batwoman just hijacked the truck and uses some kind of high-tech weapon against those guys. As to where, they're making a delivery in few minutes."
"Were heading that direction, Batgirl." Batman told her as he flew towards the highway road.
Meanwhile, the truck driver drove towards the bridge while Batwoman punches the thug in the gut, causing him to grunt in pain. Batwoman uses standing leg sweep takedown and then snaps his arm, causing him to scream in pain. Batwoman then grabs hold of the high-tech weapon, uses her utility belt to call the Bat-Glider. She then hops on as she takes flight, aims at the trailer and fire at it, causing the truck to lose the crates full of weapons. The truck driver lost his control, hits the rail, and about to crash towards the road when Batman fires the grappling hook to grab hold of the vehicle to prevent the driver from crashing. Batwoman then flew next to the Batwing when Batman glances at her with a scowl. Batwoman then flies away, leaving the scene.
"I've had a feeling she isn't friendly." Red Robin said.
"No...she's not." Batman agrees. "And we'll meet her again."
"Guys, the police already arrived at the highway road after I left them a couple of presents. And they're not alone, one of the Pro Heroes, Ingenium wasn't too happy about us beating him to it." Batgirl told them. "I'm heading back to Batcave right now."
"It's alright, Batgirl. We're about to deliver a cargo to the police ourselves. We'll see you there." Batman informed her, ending transmission.
"So Bats, what now?" Red Robin questions. "Should we call for Catwoman or what?"
"We only call them when necessary. Catwoman was working on the information of one of the brokers from the black market. Delta is paying respects to her late mother." Batman points out. "We'll have to find out more about Batwoman and where she'll target next."
And with that, Batman fly towards the police to drop off the truck driver.
At the Wayne Manor, Ethan was inside of the shower after dropping the Gordon siblings off. Eri was asleep in bed while Bruce Wayne was having a discussion with him, after hearing about Batwoman.
"Batwoman? Yeah, I've heard about her. I didn't think she'd be there right now." Bruce said. "Still, didn't think Samantha would take up Katherine's mantle."
"Samantha Kane is Batwoman?" Ethan exclaims surprisingly, got out of the bathroom while drying his hair and on a bathrobe. "And Katherine is the first one?"
"That's right, Katherine was once Batwoman until she retired." Bruce explains. "Samantha takes up her mantle at the age of 15, after being trained by her when she's 5. 10 years ago, Samantha not only was Batwoman, but she's the Interpol investigator."
"And I take it you're related to Katherine and Samantha because they're your cousins." Ethan guessed.
"That, and they're also your cousins when I adopted you." Bruce told him. "Samantha is the daughter of Beth Kane and the niece of Katherine Kane. Plus, these two were heroes in Gotham City once upon a time."
It got Ethan shocked of Bruce's explanation of Beth and Katherine, who're the vigilantes in Gotham City. And now, Samantha Kane takes up Katherine's mantle as Batwoman in US.
"But still, what I don't get is why would she try to take a life of a human being." Ethan said, changing the subject. "This doesn't make any sense. And the last we need is her having her hands spilled in blood."
"I want to know about it, but we'll find out about it tomorrow." Bruce suggests as he left the room. "Have a goodnight, Ethan."
And just as Bruce shuts the door, Ethan was right now sitting at the edge of the bed, thinking about what Batwoman's next move. He then heard the sound of the door opened when Eri went inside of his room.
"Eri? What's wrong?" Ethan asked, turned to her.
"It's too dark." Eri said with scared expression.
Ethan can tell that Eri slept alone in her own room during the time with the Shie Hassaikai, and without anyone to keep her company.
"Sorry Eri, I don't have any night lights." Ethan told her. "Do you think you can try to sleep without it?"
"No." Eri answered, shakes her head.
Ethan thought for a moment to see how he can fix the problem.
"Would it make you feel better if you sleep next to me?" Ethan asked.
"Yes." Eri answered with a nod.
Ethan decided to get some sleep and think about Batwoman's actions later as he lifted the sheet for her to get in. Eri was now lying on his bed while Ethan turned off the lights and lay next to her on the bed.
"I know it'll still be dark, but this will help a little bit." Ethan said.
"Thank you, Ethan." Eri thanked her with a smile.
Ethan rubbed her head and went back to sleep with Eri clinging on to him like a body pillow as the two fell asleep.
The next day, a woman named Samantha Kane was inside of the gym, working out in the morning to keep her body in shape.
Samantha Kane has an appearance of a tomboy with slight muscles. She has long red hair that reaches down to her shoulder blades and green eyes. She wore a gym attire that was a black tight tank top with dark blue high-waist yoga pants, and black shoes.
She was lifting 125 pounds of dumbbells with both of her arms until the news was broadcasting on the TV, which it got her attention.
'The breaking news, a vigilante named Batwoman prevents the four thugs for weapon trafficking, and everyone was wondering if she's Batman's new partner. We asked Commissioner Gordon for a few questions.'
'All I can tell you is that she's not affiliated with Batman. Otherwise, I have no comments.'
'We didn't get many answers from the Commissioner. Even though, we questioned a few police officers, and the answers are the same thing. Detective Eizo has a few comments.'
'I think we've got enough more vigilantes at Japan anyway. I mean, sheesh! What's next, Bat Hound?'
'We even ask the Pro Heroes if Batwoman is affiliated with the Bat family or not, but everything we've heard from them has the same answers. And so far, we have no information of the reason why Batwoman is here.'
Samantha couldn't help but shook her head with a chuckle, knew the news media were in the middle of the wild goose chase.
"The reason I'm here is because I'm solving the case that went cold for 8 years, after the murder of my father." Samantha quietly mutters.
"Indeed. And I came for an assistance because Mr. Creedy is somewhere here in Japan." The voice of V said in a British accent, who's known as Charles Worthington III.
Charles is a handsome man in his late 20s with long straight brown hair reaches to his shoulders and brown eyes. He wore a gym attire that has a black sleeveless shirt with black shorts and white shoes.
"You know I hate it when you do that." Samantha said in annoyance.
"Oh come now, you fell for me because of my charms." Charles states.
Though, Samantha isn't convinced of his statement, but they've been working together as part of the members of the Justice League for years.
"It's more likely because you have a bad habit of sneaking up on people and me." Samantha points out. "Now, what did you find out?"
"I've got the information we need, but not here. Even walls and people have the set of ears around us." Charles informed her. "Even the Pro Heroes are patrolling the city at this time a day."
"True, but not quite, they're just too busy thinking about money and fame. It isn't like the old days where superheroes work independently and not becoming the Governments dog." Samantha said as the phone rang, grabs it and answered it. "Yeah?"
"Samantha, it's me, Bruce." Bruce said.
"Bruce? I haven't heard from you in years." Samantha said surprisingly. "Why now?"
"Let's just say I've got someone to take care. But that's the reason why I called you, I was wondering when are you coming here at the manor? I want you to meet someone." Bruce told her.
"Wait, you're taking care someone? Who?" Samantha asks.
"You'll have to get here and see for yourself. I'll see you there." Bruce said, ending transmission.
"Damn! Every time I tried to get some answers, he just left me in riddles." Samantha groaned in annoyance, hangs up her phone as she sighed. "That's Bruce for you."
"Well, he only left you to find answers for yourself. And mind you, Bruce is the first Batman and the Co-Founder of the Justice League decades ago." Charles told her with a reminder.
"I know, I know, but would it kill him to give me some straight answers?" Samantha said. "Guess we'll head to Wayne Manor, I'll introduce you to him."
Charles nodded with an agreement as they decided to end the workout, head towards the shower, and getting change to leave the gym.
At the Wayne Manor, Samantha was driving towards the manor with a 2017 Ford Mustang. Just as she stops at the front lobby and parks it, both Samantha and Charles got out of the car and head towards the doors.
Samantha then knocks on the door, causes the door to open and revealed to be Bruce Wayne.
"Samantha, glad you drop by." Bruce said with a smile, but noticed Charles next to her. "And who's this?"
"This is Charles Worthington. He's my boyfriend." Samantha introduces to him. "We've met in London in 4 years ago during my time as Batwoman."
"It is a pleasure to meet you, Mr. Wayne." Charles said politely, shakes his hand. "As you may or may not be aware, I'm a vigilante known-"
"You're known as V." Bruce interrupts. "An assailant from the United Kingdom. I've heard about it from the previous cases in the 1990s, where the previous V assassinated the high-ranking members of Norsefire and killed Peter Creedy, but he died with loss of blood and gunfire."
Charles was impressed of Bruce's deduction and keen eyes.
"And I take it you're carrying out his legacy as the current V?" Bruce inquires.
"Indeed, yes." Charles answered simply. "After learning the history of the Norsefire and V, I thought it's decided that I take up his mantle. And for your reputation as the previous Batman, you still hold the title as 'The World's Greatest Detective'. Though, it is a shame that the Pro Heroes have forgotten what being a hero is all about."
Bruce nods with an agreement of Charles' words as he let them inside.
"This place hasn't changed when I first came here years ago." Samantha states, looking at the manor.
"I still like to keep things tidy and neat." Bruce told her with a smirk. "I still have a hard time tried to hire a new butler."
"Bruce, no one can replace Alfred. He's a good man and a good butler." Samantha said, changing the subject. "So, where's a person who you're taking care?"
Bruce can only respond in silence as they walk towards the grandfather clock, pulls the lever, and the clock opens up the passage to the Batcave. He then leads while Samantha and Charles followed them.
At the Batcave, Ethan is accessing the police files by trying to dig up of the high-tech weapon that Emily told him last night while Eri was practicing the obstacle course. He managed to find out that the weapon was called as Plasma Rifle, a deadly weapon that can take down a tank between 200-500 yards per clip size. He also look through the files that has more than one identity of Batwoman besides Katherine Kane and Samantha Kane: the previous Batwoman were Kathy, Sonia, and Rocky (or Roxanne). He learned that the three took turns and it worked perfectly because Rocky had the genius, Kathy had the money, and Sonia had the scheme. However, he also learned that Sonia's family business was destroyed during the fire because of the ruthless mobster named Rupert Thorne. Rupert was arrested along with Carlton for working with Oswald Cobblepot and illegally making weapons and weapon trafficking which it happens way before his time.
Ethan and Eri heard the sound of the footsteps as they turned around, noticed Bruce leading Samantha and Charles to the Batcave.
"Guess the Batcave hasn't changed a bit since I came here years ago before I started working at the Interpol." Samantha said, looking at the Batcave.
"I kept the entire cave updated and intact. Plus, the radar jammer prevents the Pro Heroes and the police for finding us to blow our cover." Bruce told her. "I've been keeping tabs on them decades ago after my retirement as Batman."
Samantha and Charles can understand that since Ethan takes up his mantle as the new Batman years ago. Ethan and Eri approaches them as Bruce noticed them and spoke.
"This is Ethan, he's my adopted son. After his parents were murdered in the alleyway 12 years ago, I took him in and raise him as my own." Bruce said to them, then turns to Eri. "This is Eri. Ethan and Lita rescued her from Kai Chisaki, known as Overhaul."
Samantha then turns to Ethan and Eri.
"Bruce may not told me either of you two, but I know what's like to lose someone. And I'm sorry what you two have been through." Samantha said to the two.
Ethan and Eri can tell that Samantha lost something that she loved. Charles decided to lighten the mood as he spoke.
"I believe introductions are in order. My name is Charles Worthington III." Charles introduces himself politely, extends his hand. "It is a pleasure to meet you."
"Likewise." Ethan said, shakes his hand.
"And I'm Samantha Kane." Samantha introduces herself. "I'm the investigator at the Interpol."
"And you're also known as Batwoman." Ethan said, leaving Samantha and Charles surprised. "You were there at Hosu highroad last night to preventing those thugs for delivering weapons."
Samantha and Charles were shocked that Ethan was able to figure it out, but it didn't surprise them since Bruce told him.
"And you Charles, you go as V from England." Ethan told him.
"It seems that Bruce taught you well to figure out our identities, but it would seem that he must've told you who we are." Charles said, impressed.
"Bruce told me about her, but I was able to figure out your identity." Ethan said. "But I don't think that's the reason why you two are here, is it?"
"You're right, the truck you saw last night was delivering an illegal contraband." Samantha explains. "I was able to prevent that from happening."
"By disregarding human life." Bruce points out with a serious glare. "Delta and the Boondock Saints may not play by the rules while killing thugs and villains. Samantha, you were better than that. Katherine may have taught you everything she knows when you're only 5, but I taught you the moral code of 'No killing' methods."
"You may have taught her, Mr. Wayne, but I'm here to make sure that she doesn't kill them. If it wasn't for Ethan or the Bat family, then we would have a serious conversation in a matter." Charles said. "But after Ethan and Batgirl was kind to deliver those thugs to the police, I've managed to gather information of whom is making those high-tech weapons."
"The Plasma Rifles?" Ethan guessed. "That weapon is deadly, it can take a tank at 200 to 500 yards."
"That's right, and we know someone who're making those weapons." Samantha confirms as they walk towards the table, showing the photos of those villains. "This is Rupert Thorne's great grandson, Eddie Thorne. Eddie started gambling money after his family's fortune goes to him at the age of 16, and making the group of his own to make illegal contraband while making shipment deliveries. The other is Roman Creedy, he's the grandson of Peter Creedy. Roman was a former cop from England, but got booted out when he learned of Peter's history and the Norsefire. So, Roman decided to rebuild the Norsefire and started working with Eddie Thorne 30 years ago."
"Sounds like they're trying to carry out their legacy and hoping they can make plenty of money to make their own Norsefire." Bruce states. "Got any leads?"
"I was able to get the information out of them. And I did obtain this." Charles answered, showing the keychain. "This logo reminds you of anything?"
"The Bric-A-Brac company." Ethan muttered. "That place wasn't used anymore, when the previous Batwoman destroyed it decades ago."
"What's the Bric-A-Brac?" Eri asked curiously.
"It's a name of a company where they make piggy banks, figurines, you name it." Ethan explains. "However, underneath of the building is where they make weapons out of high-tech."
"You're well informed, like Bruce." Samantha said, impressed with a smirk. "We might have a chance to stop them before they make any more of them and making a delivery tonight."
At the abandoned Bric-A-Brac company, a middle-aged man named Eddie Throne arrived at the company while shuffled his cards.
Eddie Thorne has an appearance of late 40s to early 50s, black short hair with grey streak on each side and black eyes. He wore a black business suit with white dress shirt and black tie underneath, black business pants, and black shoes. He carries a Beretta M9 inside of the gun holster, Brass Knuckles on his pockets, and a switch knife on the coat pocket.
Then, a car arrived at the abandoned company as a man named Roman Creedy got out and walk next to Eddie.
Roman Creedy has an appearance of late 40s to early 50s, grey short hair and brown eyes. He wore a black business suit with dark blue dress shirt and black tie underneath, black business pants, and black shoes. He also carries a Beretta M9 inside of the gun holster, but he carries a Bersa Thunder 9 on his left ankle, and Ruger LCR 327 Magnum on his right wrist.
"He's been waiting." Eddie informed him as he and Roman head towards the entrance of the building.
Once they went inside of the abandoned building, Eddie and Roman approaches the stack of boxes as he pulls out a card, and placed it on the scanner. Once the scanner approves, the stack of boxes moves away as it revealed to be an elevator as they went inside.
Just as the elevator heads down, revealed to be a hidden weapons factory where the people make high-tech weapons.
At the target range, the dummy was shot in the head and the shooter check the weapon. The shooter was known as Harvey Dent, AKA...Two Face. Harvey Dent was once a lawyer in Gotham City until a notorious mobster boss, Manori, threw the acid at his face which causes half of his face disfigured on the left while leaving the right side unharmed. Because of that, he became as Two Face.
"It's still needs work, get it fixed." Two Face demands, extends it to the weaponsmith.
"Two Face." Roman called him, earned his attention.
"Mr. Creedy, I heard we've had a setback at Hosu." Two Face informed him with a glare.
"You mean we got hit and our delivery got destroyed? Then yes." Roman answered with a scowl.
"And how did that happen?" Two Face demands, grabbing a Remington R5 RGP.
"We're not sure yet, no one but us even knew the shipment was going out last night." Eddie answered.
"Well, someone did!" Two Face growled, fired his rifle at the dummy, destroying it in the process.
"All we know is that Batwoman somehow came here to Japan along with V." Eddie told him which it got Two Face angered.
"First Batman is back along with Batgirl, Red Robin, and Catwoman. Then, Delta and the Boondock Saints came to play. And now Batwoman and V?! What has this world coming to?!" Two Face yelled furiously, stormed through the factory. "I've spent all of my life in this god forsaken world remained young because of the Lazarus Pit, formulating a plan to take over the city while making weapon deliveries! And for what, some superheroes in capes tried to foil my plan?!"
"Fortunately, it's only one truck load. I've doubled a manpower at a warehouse sites." Roman informed him. "No way they could get here, boss."
"I don't want to hear excuses, you idiot!?" Two Face growled at him. "I have my doubts of your security. Our group from overseas have already paid us a half of billion dollars for these weapons! If we don't get them delivered by the end of next week, then they want their money back and I will verdict to the both of you imbeciles! We've already spent the most of it for making weapons and try to make a delivery without any problems! I want the delivery to be out of Japan by the end of this week, which means the both of you better do your jobs by taking care of the problems we've had! If you don't, then I'll kill the both of you and I'll deal with them myself!"
And with that Two Face then walked away, leaving Eddie and Roman alone since they're now in a very serious situation.
At the streets, Ethan was driving a car with Charles next to him, and Bruce, Samantha, and Eri from the back. They're listening to the news which mostly the Pro Heroes doing the deed by saving lives and fought against the villains. They don't seem to impressed of their actions at all because they mostly care about getting popular. Although, the media mostly pays attention to Endevavor and All Might, but some pays attention to Hawks, Best Jeanist, and Kamui Woods.
"Doesn't surprise me that things have change since the Pro Heroes arrives before our time." Samantha said in annoyance. "Good thing we don't do media."
"You're not the only one, Eraser Head doesn't care much of media, either." Bruce states. "Right now, the Pro Heroes are taking extra precautions on patrolling the city after hearing about the incident last night."
Samantha scoffed since she did recklessly destroy the trailer that has crates full of high-tech weapons. They then heard a phone ringing as Bruce pulls out a phone.
"This is Bruce Wayne." Bruce said seriously.
"Bruce, this is James." Barbara informed him.
"Hey James." Bruce greets her. "Anything going on?"
"Not really, besides dealing with these guys with Quirks who keeps telling themselves that they're better and all that crap. I'd rather deal with bay guys any day than this." James told him. "Also, we were hoping you guys got any leads on these weapons."
"We have, it's at the Bric-A-Brac company." Bruce answered.
"Bric-A-Brac, this place hasn't been used in a long time." James said.
"That's what we thought, but it'll make sense when there's a criminal activity." Bruce points out. "I need you and your sister suit up after school and meet Ethan there by tonight."
"You got it. I'll let her know." James said, ending transmission.
"Guess we've got some plans for tonight." Samantha said with a smirk. "Can't wait to meet to two."
"And the both of you are about to." Bruce adds. "I called Iwao to head for the Batcave, so he'll give you guys the coordinates of Bric-A-Brac company. Once you guys park at Wayne Enterprise, head for the Batcave and suit up by tonight."
Few hours later after they dropped Bruce off at Wayne Enterprise, Batwoman and V went ahead to the Bric-A-Brac while waiting for the Bat family to arrive.
"Do you think Batman, Batgirl, and Red Robin will take part of the Justice League?" Batwoman inquires curiously. "We already saw them fighting against thugs in Japan. And don't get me wrong, I'm impressed of their fighting skills, gadgetry, and tactics they've learned."
"According to Pop Star, they were patrolling the city in Japan and took care of the villains without getting caught by the Pro Heroes. And apparently, what surprises me was that All Might gave up on capturing them while Edgeshot and Mirko teamed up with them and taking down the Shie Hassaikai in one fell swoop." V points out. "However, not many of the Pro Heroes are on friendly terms with the Bat family, Catwoman, Delta, nor the Boondock Saints, all because of some crime for vigilantism."
"Well, I find that crime ridiculous in my opinion. Back in the old days, the Justice League has no problems for crime fighting without even a single care of some money and all that crap." Batwoman told him with annoyance. "Even they don't have the Provisional Hero License. I mean seriously, Provisional Hero License, who come up with that idea?"
"The Government, unfortunately." The voice of Batman said, earned their attention when he, Batgirl, and Red Robin arrived. "With the Pro Heroes around, they've forgotten about the reason why they became a hero in the first place. And as far as we know, being famous, earned money, being popular, it's not the same as being a hero."
"On that, we do certainly agree for the most part." V agrees with a nod. "Ah, and the both of you must be Batgirl and Red Robin."
"And you must be the British hero, V." Red Robin states. "Heard about you and your work. Along with your reputation."
"And to yours as well, Red Robin." V confirms respectfully, then extends his hand to Batwoman. "This is Batwoman, a Bat member in US."
"Good to meet you both." Batwoman greets. "But we should cut this chat short, 'cause we're dealing with criminals working on high-tech weapons at the abandoned factory and apparently, they're planning to make a delivery by tonight."
"The Plasma Rifle, a high-tech weapon that can destroy a tank with one shot." Batgirl states. "Who's in charge?"
"Two of the criminals that we're mostly familiar that goes by Eddie Thorne and Roman Creedy." V explains. "But there is another that we're all familiar with. He goes by the name of Harvey Dent, AKA, Two Face."
It got Batman, Batgirl, and Red Robin shocked when V mentioned his name that they've never heard of, but learned of the criminal files of Two Face.
"No way...He's back?! How?" Red Robin asks shockingly.
"We thought he's dead!" Batgirl exclaims in disbelief.
"We thought so too, but knowing Dent, it fits his MO." Batwoman told them. "And with that look, he's back and apparently...he doesn't look like he's in his late 50s."
Batman then pondered for a few seconds, and then realizes why.
"The Lazarus Pit!" Batman said with his eyes widen.
Batgirl and Red Robin were shocked of his answer. They remembered reading the files about the Lazarus Pit. The Lazarus Pit is a supernatural phenomenon of restorative pools that can heal the injuries, resurrecting the dead, and granting them immortality to those who bathed in it and the only one who used it to extend his lifespan was Ra's al Ghul, the founder of the League of Assassins. But what got them wondering is how did Harvey Dent gained access to the Lazarus Pit.
"That's right. And for some reason, Dent must've struck a deal with Ra's while gained access to the Lazarus Pit." Batwoman confirmed. "But right now, we'll get to that once we find him."
"And I won't go into any further details since you know the plan." V said, earned a nod from the Bat family.
And with that, the Bat family, Batwoman, and V pulled out their grappling hooks as they launched themselves up towards the top of the warehouse.
At the abandoned Bric-A-Brac, the Bat family, Batwoman, and V were at the top as they look down through the window, noticing a couple of thugs guarding the building.
"Whoa, looks like these guys are keeping an eye on the place and not letting us in." Red Robin states. "I think we should take them down without getting caught."
"Let's head inside and split up, that way we'll cover more grounds on beating those thugs." Batman suggests.
And soon, they quietly went inside of the abandoned warehouse without getting caught as they split up to find those thugs. V was watching the two thugs guarding the warehouse while listening.
"Eddie and Roman aren't too happy about the delivery last night. Two Face is more pissed off."
"What do you think? If the delivery won't make it by the end of the week, we're good as dead."
"Yeah, and we know how Two Face does it."
After the interaction, V quietly leaps down next to them, slamming their heads, knocking them out in the process.
Red Robin and Batgirl got the two hanged upside down while hiding since the thugs heard the loud noise.
"What was that?"
"Let's go check it out! Come on!"
The thugs then rush towards the source of the noise, noticed two of their comrades were knocked out and hanged upside down.
"Oh God! Batman must've got them!?"
"Either him, or Red Robin and Batgirl?!"
"What if it's Batwoman or V?"
"Forget it! Let's just find them!"
With that, the thugs scattered to find the Bat family, Batwoman, and V. Both Red Robin and Batgirl splits up to take care of the thugs.
Batman grabs hold of one of thugs, quietly taking down the thug by using a chokehold. He then goes after the other thug while quietly choking him. Batwoman does the same by taking the thugs down with the chokehold.
One by one, the thugs were taken down by the Bat family, Batwoman, and V. Unknown to them, Eraser Head, Kamui Woods, Fat Gum, and a Pro Hero named Native were watching at the top of the building.
Native had a medium long dark brown hair. His costume was based on the Native Americans, a headgear with a feather, a feathered cape and a jumpsuit with the letter 'N' on it, and an open-toed sandals.
"They're making quick work out of those thugs." Native states, impressed.
"Yeah, it explains why they're able to take them down without any problems. It saves them the hassle." Kamui Woods agreed.
"But they're still vigilantes. We need to apprehend them." Eraser Head informed them.
After the Bat family, Batwoman, and V made a quick work out of those thugs, they're walking towards the stack of boxes. Batwoman pulls out the gadget from her utility belt as she overrides the scanner, and the stack of boxes revealed the elevator.
"Where do you think it'll lead us?" Red Robin asks.
"To the ammunition room, where they make high-tech weapons." Batwoman answered.
"A fitting place to hide weapons inside so no one will notice." Batman states. "We should warn the Commissioner, she wanted to hear about what we found."
And just as they're about to head inside to investigate before calling Barbara, he felt something wrapped around in one of his arms as Batman looked down, only to see a binding cloth wrapped around his arm. He's then pulled away and slammed through the stack of boxes which it got their attention.
"Ugh...That cloth...Eraser Head." Batman groaned, pulls himself up.
"Stand down, Batman before you get hurt." Eraser Head warned him when he revealed himself along with Kamui Woods, Native, and Fat Gum.
"It's best you four to stand down as well." Kamui Woods told them. "You've caused a lot of hassle for us. We've been looking for you in years."
The Bat family, Batwoman, and V only stay silent, letting them believe that the Pro Heroes have captured him. Batman secretly brings out his batarang to cut the cloth. Once he's ready in one swift motion, Batman cut his arm free with the batarang before delivering a swift kick to Eraser Head's jaw. Red Robin, Batgirl, and Batwoman throw out the flash pellets at the Pro Heroes, causing them to grunt while blocking their visions. Eraser Head stumbles back, but not before using his binding cloth to throw Batman right towards the stack of crates, causing him to grunt.
And with that, the fight begins. Batgirl and Red Robin deals with Fat Gum, V deals with Kamui Woods, and Batwoman deals with Native.
Eraser Head quickly charges after Batman as the Dark Knight clashes against with by delivering a punch to the gut and a punch to the jaw while sweeps the leg. Eraser Head hits the ground, but he managed to deliver a punch, making Batman stumbled.
"I've been waiting a long time for this." Eraser Head said, pulls himself up. "You and your group are an illegal vigilantes. You had to know what we would come for you."
"And what are you?! You're the governments dog!" Batman retorted, spiting the blood out of his mouth. "That's all you and the Pro Heroes will ever be! You're not a Hero, Aizawa, you're a government dog and a hypocritical glory hog."
Eraser Head glares at Batman before rushes him again.
Batgirl and Red Robin were dodging Fat Gum's fist which was obviously a bit slow, but they won't be able to deliver a blow because of the big fat body of his. Fat Gum was about to swing his arms to deliver a punch, but Red Robin threw a micro explosion which it got the fat hero stumbled back. Red Robin and Batgirl lands on the floor with their fighting stance.
"You two caused a lot of trouble for us to find you. You two were very hard to find, like Batman, Catwoman, and Delta. It's like we're finding a needle in a haystack." Fat Gum grunts, turns to them. "You two would've been great heroes if you join U.A. That way, we won't arrest you and you can become Pro Heroes."
"Sorry, fatso, no dice." Red Robin said with a smirk.
"Besides, we're doing this our way without following your rules or saying those cheesy words that was coming from the cartoons on Saturday mornings." Batgirl adds.
Fat Gum didn't like their remarked as he charges after them. Batgirl and Red Robin were ready as they charged after him, sliding below him and then deliver a kick to the groin which it got Fat Gum grunt with his hands covering his groin and then bends his knees down to the ground.
"Oooowwww...That...was a cheap shot..." Fat Gum squirms with teary eyes.
Red Robin then threw a pellet next to Fat gum, brings out a knockout gas as the Fat hero collapses down to the floor.
"Nice work, Red." Batgirl said as they gave each other a high five.
Batwoman and Native were trading blows with punches and kicks while blocking each other's attacks. Native then swings his fist, but Batwoman grabs his wrist and then delivers a spring hip throw technique, knocking him down to the floor while punched him in the jaw.
"Hmph, here I thought you'd be much of a challenge." Batwoman said with a huff.
Kamui Woods used his quirk to try to bind V with his wooden fingers, but the British assailant keeps parrying the wood with his parrying daggers. V then found an opening as he threw his parrying dagger right into the shoulder, causing Kamui Woods to grunt in pain. V then charges after him and then delivers a shoulder throw, knocking him down to the ground.
"Damn! I couldn't even get a chance to use my attack." Kamui Woods groans. "Tell me, what do you hope to gain?"
V can only stay silent while pulled out the parrying dagger out of Kamui Woods shoulder, causing him to groan while holding his shoulder. V then walks away.
Eraser head charges after him again, but Batman was prepared as he drew out 4 micro explosions from his utility belt and throw them at him. It got Eraser Head widen his eyes as he blows back to the wall, but before he could recover, Batman charges after him. Batman leaps in midair and delivers a flying kick to the face, sending Eraser Head back towards the wall, but he used his binding cloth to pull him and deliver a counter with a knee to the gut. Batman retaliates by grabbing hold of Eraser Head and then delivers a northern lights suplex. Batman then grabs Eraser Head and delivers a brainbuster. Eraser Head pulls himself up and wipes the blood from his nose.
"I gotta admit, you're pretty good." Eraser Head praises him. "Why don't you join U.A.?"
"And give up my identity, not a chance." Batman remarked.
Batman quickly rushed Eraser Head, tackling him to the ground. The two of them go back and forth from Batman kneeing him right in the gut and Eraser Head kicking him hard to the jaw. Batman saw an opening as he threw 2 batarangs at Eraser Head, with one right into his shoulder and the other lodges right in the leg.
"What are these things? Throwing stars?!" Eraser Heads grunts in shock.
Before Eraser Head can even say another word, Batman delivers a hard punch right into the jaw before grabbing him and delivered a suplex right into the ground which he's done holding back. Both he and Eraser Head pulled themselves up as they readied their fighting stance. They both started trading blows from Batman delivered an open palm strike right in the jaw while Eraser Head dislocates one of his arms. Batman then roundhouse kicked Eraser Head before relocating his arm. Batman finally had enough as he rushed Eraser Head by grabbing one of the arms, bend it the wrong way until a loud crack was heard, broke Eraser Heads arm.
"AAAAAAAHHHHHHH!" Eraser Head yelled.
After breaking his arm, Batman delivers a hard punch in the gut, causing one of Eraser Head's ribs to crack and spitting blood out of his mouth. After that, Batman delivers an axe kick to Eraser Head's back, sending him to his knees.
"Wh...What are you?" Eraser Head asked with a grunt.
Batman grabs Eraser Head by the neck and hold him in the air, looking directly into his eyes.
"I'm Batman...And right now, we have bigger problems." Batman told him. "Eddie, Roman, and Two Face are making high-tech weapons to make a delivery."
Eraser Head then noticed that he stopped trying to hurt him, so, he did the same. Kamui Woods and Native overheard which they decided to hear them out while waking Fat Gum up. The Pro Heroes were clearly interested in the information they had.
"Explain." Eraser Head said.
"An old nemesis of the first Batman named Two Face, a grandson of Rupert, Eddie Thorne, and Peter's grandson, Roman, were making deal to a foreigner from overseas. They spend millions of dollars to create a high-tech weapon, and planning to make a delivery by the end of two weeks." V explains. "Apparently, Batwoman was able to apprehend the first one, but we came here to deal with those thugs you stand before you."
"And we were about to see what's inside of the elevator, if you four hadn't interfered with our business." Batwoman adds with a glare.
Kamui Woods, Native, and Fat Gum were about to remark when Eraser Head stopped him by raising his good arm.
"So...you want us to help you stop them for making weapon deliveries somewhere out of Japan?" Eraser Head asks.
"We don't need your help. We're just telling you what we're doing." Batman points out with a glare. "So, it's up to the four of you it you believe it or not."
The Bat family, Batwoman, and V turned to head for the elevator, but before they're about to get in, the four Pro Heroes decided to follow them to the elevator.
"If you show us proof, then we'd be willing to help you." Eraser Head suggests.
And with that, the elevator sends them down to the underground.
After a few minutes of going down, they noticed the underground was a weapon factory where they make high-tech weapons which it got the four Pro Heroes shocked.
"So...they were right. They're really making weapons." Kamui Woods muttered.
"And each of them was high-tech." Fat Gum adds.
As the elevator opens the door, the Bat family, Batwoman, V, and the four Pro Heroes entered inside of the weapon factory to conduct an investigation. They're going through each of the weapons and ammunition which was enough to create an army and making money for the deliveries.
"That truck that was filled with weapons last night was making a delivery, but it didn't happen." Fat Gum said, looking at the weapon. "These are almost military weapons."
"They're called Plasma Rifles; it could take out a tank in between 200 to 500 yards." Batwoman points out. "I've dug up some information while measuring the clip size. There are also a couple of EK-4 Lasers and what looks to be a barrel from an air surface to missile launcher."
"Why on earth would they want those weapons?" Native questions. "We've got Quirks, but not enough to gather up weapons."
"Both Eddie and Roman were taking matters into their own hands while working together with Dent." V explains. "They made a deal with someone from overseas in order to deliver the weapons by the end of two weeks."
"Should we call the police and..."
"Already covered that." Batgirl interrupts after ending the transmission from her cowl. "They're on their way after I give them the coordinates. The Commissioner was shocked of Dent coming back alive."
"What do you mean?" Kamui Woods asks.
"She means I made a deal with the League of Assassins because one common goal." The voice of Two Face said, earned their attention when they saw him, Eddie, Roman, and the group of thugs. "Is to kill the Pro Heroes and our nemesis...Batman!?"
"Dent." Batman said with a glare.
"You seem to have grown soft...almost like your different." Two Face states, pondered.
"You're right...I'm not the first Batman." Batman admits.
"So you're a fake, an impersonator trying to live up to his legacy." Two Face said. "I'll let you know, I won't allow that to happen."
"We'll see about that." Batman said.
And with that, the group of thugs, Eddie, and Roman charges after them. The four Pro Heroes were in bad shape after the fight, but they're able to manage by knocking them out. The Bat family, Batwoman, and V gives the Pro Heroes a helping hand while beating those thugs and breaking their limbs along the way. Two Face was furious of his group being defeated so easily.
After beating down those thugs, Eddie decided to fight against Batwoman while V goes against Roman. Batman walked towards Two Face with a scowl on his face.
"You have no idea how long I've been waiting to fight against the first Batman, but you? Let's see if you're worthy." Two Face growled as he charges after Batman.
Batman just stood there while dodging the punch by moving his head. Two Face then swings his fists while Batman kept dodging, but the Dark Knight saw an opening by grabbing his fist and delivers a hard punch to gut, causing him to grunt in pain. Batman starts delivering a punch to the jaw and a hook punch to the face, making Two Face stumble. Two Face growls in anger as he grabs his weapon, but Batman drew out his batarang and threw them at him, with one at the weapon which it got him discarded. Batman then rushed after him, delivers a shoulder throw, and then bends Two Face's arm the wrong way by breaking it.
"AAAAAAGGGGHHHH!?" Two Face yelled in pain as Batman knocks him out by punching him in the jaw.
Batwoman dodges the bullets by run when Eddie fires his Beretta M9 as she threw her batarang, causing him to lose his handgun and grunts in pain. Eddie then drew out his switch knife and a brass knuckle as he charges after her. Eddie then swings his brass knuckle when Batwoman blocks his attack and counters by punching him in the side rib and a spinning heel kick to the face, making him stumble back. Eddie then swings his switch knife which Batwoman ducks down and delivers a leg sweep, knocking him down to the ground. Batwoman grabs hold of his ankle and started breaking his ankle, causing Eddie to scream in pain as she then finishes him off by slamming his head to the ground.
V and Roman readied their fighting stance.
"V, a vigilante, and an assassin from England. I've heard stories about you and your work." Roman states with a smirk. "I really wanted to meet you and kill you. And I finally get a chance to take that mask off of you."
"Really now?" V mocks.
"You wouldn't beg or cry, will you? You're not afraid of death, you're like my grandfather." Roman states.
"The only you and Peter have in common, Mr. Creedy, is you're about to die." V told him.
"How do you imagine that's going to happen?" Roman asks with a chuckle.
"With my hands around your neck." V answered simply.
"Bullocks." Roman said. "What you're going to do? You're still here, fighting in the city, and yet, you're nothing. Nothing but bloody knives and your fancy karate gimmick. I have guns..."
"No, what you have bullets and hope that when your guns are empty and no longer understanding, because if I am, you'll be dead before you reload it." V interrupts, placing his hand next to his parrying knife.
"That's impossible!?" Roman exclaims in disbelief as he drew out his Beretta M9, aiming at V.
Just as before Roman could fire at V, he threw his parrying knife right at his wrist, causing Roman to scream in pain. V then rushes after Roman, grabbing his neck and then snaps, killing him in the process.
"Now, your families legacy has reached to its conclusion, Mr. Creedy." V states.
The Pro Heroes, except the Bat family and Batwoman, were deeply shocked of V killing Roman Creedy. Apparently, V knew that the previous V and Peter Creedy had a history at the United Kingdom that's been happening in decades which lead both of them died in a last stand at the tunnels.
After the police arrived, they've arrested the group of thugs, Two Face, and Eddie Thorne for delivering illegal weapons and making high-tech weaponry. Batman, Batgirl, and Red Robin already left the scene while the Pro Heroes were recovering after the fight against them. Eraser Head was taken to the hospital after being scolded by Barbara Gordon since she knew this would happen when he tried to fight against the Dark Knight.
At the Watchtower, Batwoman and V were teleported back to base to inform John Stewart, known as Green Lantern, Pop Star, Shayera Hol, known as Hawkgirl, Barry Allen, known as Flash, and J'onn J'onzz, known as Martian Manhunter.
"So, were able to find Batman?" Green Lantern questions.
"We did, but he's alone." Batwoman confirms. "Batgirl and Red Robin were with him when we get a chance to meet them."
"And the mission?" Martian Manhunter asks.
"The mission is complete, along with Two Face, Eddie Thorne, and Roman Creedy." V answered.
"Good, at least the city is at peace for now." Hawkgirl states. "For now, we should make a discussion about the Bat family."
"And while we're at it, we need to find the new Superman." Green Lantern suggested. "Ever since Clark Kent was killed along with our friends, we're the only ones left along with the new generations of the Justice League after we lost many and went into cryostasis."
And with that, they're now discussing while try to find the new Superman.
