This is the 20th chapter. I know you have questions like why did you bring back Red Hood?
Well, to put it this way is because there were too many heroes and too many villains on the series, which it comes to a point that there weren't any of the anti-heroes in it. Even though, many of the Marvel comic characters and DC comic characters have anti-heroes. Also, I've been watching a Youtube of a Top 10 Anti-Heroes on Marvel and Top 10 Anti-Heroes of DC which it's something I can agree with those characters who've done some most criminal activity while occasionally done heroic deeds, basically they're neither villains or heroes, they're anti-heroes.
So, I don't own the series of My Hero Academia or the series of Justice League.
BrianShooter672: Well to answer about Tim Drake and Damian Wayne, it'll be a no, because James Gordon is carrying out his mantle while Eri became the 5th Robin and breaks Dick Grayson's record for being the youngest member of the Bat Family. For Monoma getting roasted, I won't be going that far. And as for the I-Island Arc, we'll see, but I can't promise you about it.
Codename
After a long weekend off, Jason Todd was able to pass a psychological test since he needs help because of being ordered by the Court of Owls and brought back from the dead due to the Lazarus Pit. They're able to fix that red mask while doing some upgrades in between infrared vision, scanner, and x-ray vision, and able to update his suit which was mostly an outlaw attire considering Jason Todd as an anti-hero.
Ethan gave the Gordon siblings, the Oguro family, Lita, and Eri an explanation of the reason why Jason Todd is out of the cell is because they need someone who's willing to make a hard decision, which it'll be him. Like Tamao, Jason doesn't play by the rules because he kills people, but he told them that the criminals will be given 3 strikes to stay in jail, and if they break out the 3rd time, that's where he comes to play by hunting the criminals down and take them down permanently. Of course, neither of them likes to kill criminals, but knew that some of the villains don't wanna be rehabilitated. And they come to an agreement that if the criminals breaks out the 3rd time, Jason and Tamao will take them down and kill them.
Now at the Batcave, Ethan was on the Bat Computer, doing some background check on the Hero Killer: Stain since he didn't get a chance to look at the information because of the Zero Year incident caused by Riddler few months ago, the Court of Owls came to Japan, and Jason Todd. However, the cities from Japan aren't getting any better because the Pro Heroes and HPSC are still dealing with the angry mob since it's been all over the news a few days ago.
"Looking for something, kid?" The voice of Jason asks, earned his attention. "You missed the news, sounds like a party at the HPSC department."
"A party that's about to strike, yeah, it's all over. The Pro Heroes are still trying to deal with this situation while the civilians demands that they should defend themselves because of their superpowers which it's been ongoing." Ethan told him, getting back on the Bat Computer. "I'm doing some background check on Stain, who's known as the Hero Killer."
"I've heard of him, he's all over the news few months ago. He's trying to take down Ingenium, but was interfered by Katana and Ronin." Jason states with a ponder as the image of Stain was revealed from the screen.
"Sounds about right." Ethan agrees. "His real name is Chizome Akaguro. He's a former high school student during his teens, a former vigilante in his 20s, and a criminal as Stain years ago. He dropped out of high school during his first year and became a street activist and preaching the ideals of 'Revival of Heroics' through the streets, but unfortunately, his words are fallen deaf to the people and it got him realizing that actions and violence could create his ideals and change Heroics."
"I know that feeling." Jason muttered when Dick, Lita,Eri, the Oguro family, and the Gordon siblings arrived at the Batcave.
"What are you guys looking at?" Dick asks, earned their attention.
"Stendhal..." Iwao muttered with a glare. "Why am I not surprise?"
"You know him?" Tamao inquires curiously.
"More like I've met him once." Iwao told his daughter. "That bastard has been on a killing spree back in his day, he's been hunting down those villains. His reason is for him to make up for the Pros mistakes, declaring the existence to sever the gap between good and evil. To me, I find this bullshit."
"That sounds somebody we know." James states.
"Don't remind me." Jason groans.
"Anyway, after hearing that the Abegawa Tenchu Kai were wiped out in one fell swoop and where Soga and Koichi were about to get killed, I was able to save them." Iwao continues. "Though, we both have different methods on beating the criminals and saving lives, but I made a disagreement after this because of his insanity. I was able to take him down with only one punch, breaking his nose. Haven't from him ever since."
The Bat Family, Lita, and Tamao can tell that Iwao have encountered Stain once years ago and won the fight.
"But after hearing about his return and using his new name, it's no surprise that he's going after the Pro Heroes." Iwao said seriously. "17 Heroes were dead and 23 that were badly hurt, it forces them to retire. And from the looks of it, he's adding to those victims on his own killing list."
"Make sense since he became a psychopath in the first place." Lita states with an agreement.
"Dad, what's his superpower?" Tamao asks her father. "Surely, you know what he did to those victims during your encounter."
"His Quirk is called Bloodcurdle." Iwao answered, causing them to cringe uncomfortably. "Don't ask me about that name, just go along with it. Anyway, Bloodcurdle is the ability that allows him to paralyze a victim by ingesting the blood. It can only acquire a tongue to make contact with the small amount of blood, don't matter where or how it's found. Once he gains access to the blood, it left the victim paralyzed for a short period of time, which it would explain how he killed the number of victims in the first place. But there's a catch, the amount of time when the victim remains paralyzed can only depends on what blood type they're in."
"The only blood types were A, B, AB, and O." James states with a hum.
"Yeah, but in his case, blood type B is the longest while A, AB, and O were the shortest amount of time. Stain has no way of identifying them, meaning the timing of each paralysis can become unpredictable." Iwao explains. "But for each number of victims he killed, his specialty was ambushing them through dark and narrow alleys in order to score the first blood without attracting attention while either kill them or leaving them for dead."
"And Ingenium was part of the killing list, but was thwarted by Katana and Ronin." Dick states. "Last time it happened, it's at Hosu City from Tokyo."
Ethan then pulls out the background file of Katana and Ronin which was Miku Yamashiro and Kenshin Yamashiro, the daughter and son of Tatsu and the new members of Task Force X.
"Their names were Miku and Kenshin, they're daughter and son of Tatsu Yamashiro, who's the original Katana." Ethan said. "Miku takes up her mantle as the new Katana while Kenshin chose the name of Ronin."
"A samurai with no master." Emily said.
"And from the looks of it, these two are the new members of the Task Force X." Dick said with a glare. "Guess Director Waller is still alive after using those inmates as expendables for doing her dirty work while implanting them with bombs on the back of their necks."
"You're half right about it, but you're talking about Amanda Waller. She's been arrested for decades after the government learning her dark secrets and her daughter, Nikita Waller, became the new Director of A.R.G.U.S." Ethan explains, showing the image of Nikita. "Nikita has been cleaning up the mess and started on forming a new team of her own."
"Let me guess, new Task Force X?" Dick inquires, earned a nod from Ethan. "I don't know, Bats, Nikita might have the same methods as her mom used decades ago."
"I was thinking the same thing, but we won't know until we learned about her." Ethan suggested. "But I've gained access to the files of the new recruits, besides Miku and Kenshin."
Ethan then pulls out the members of the new members of Task Force X.
"I remember encountering these guys, including Deathstroke." Dick states with a ponder. "Especially King Shark, Deadshot, and Bloodsport."
"Same here." Jason adds. "The Suicide Squad are no fooling around. We're not on good terms with them, either."
"Be that as it may, but these guys are different." Ethan points out. "Most of the members have military backgrounds, besides Nikita. I've been looking over them, but so far, there's no criminal records."
"He's right, I've looked at them too." Lita agrees, crossed her arms. "But still, I don't trust these guys when it comes to Suicide Squad."
Both Dick and Jason have encountered those previous members of the Suicide Squad like the first Deadshot, the first Deathstroke, Harley Quinn, the first King Shark, and more. However, with the new members having no criminal records, they're gonna be ready for a fight whenever they encounter them.
Meanwhile, after the incidents between the Zero Year caused by Riddler and the Court of Owls being captured, the day that classes resumed at U.A. High after the multiple incidents. It's still raining, Izuku was forced to ride the train again to get to school. It took longer for him to go by train than it was for him. Izuku was going through the news with his phone since the two incidents were all over the news, but it got him wondering if Ethan and the others are doing alright after what happen to Bruce Wayne since it made a huge emotional impact on the Bat Family, Lita, and Tamao.
He haven't heard from any of them at all, mostly because the Bat Family, Lita, and Tamao were out patrolling the city a few months ago, dealing with the Riddler, Dick Grayson, the Court of Owls, and Jason Todd.
After the train ride, Izuku is making the rest of his way to U.A. High, holding an umbrella. He was trying to stay awake while walking to the main entrance of the school.
"I feel like I'm barely awake." Izuku said with a sigh when Tenya ran behind him.
"Good morning, Midoriya!" Tenya shouts.
Izuku came to a halt as he gasped and his eyes widened in shock. He quickly turned around and was shocked to see Tenya, in a green raincoat, running towards him.
"Whoa, Iida! You're really went all out with your raining gear!" Izuku exclaimed.
"Why on earth are you walking so slowly?!" Tenya questioned as he ran past Izuku. "You'll be late!"
"Late?!" Izuku repeats surprisingly, ran to try and catch up to him. "But...there's still 5 minutes until the first bell!"
"U.A. students should always arrive 10 minutes early, don't you think?" Tenya asked, but didn't wait for the respond before speeding off.
Izuku was confused, wondering why he's in a hurry, but he'll ask whenever he gets the chance.
When they entered the building, both Izuku and Tenya went to their lockers to place their belongings into them. But as they did, Izuku looked over at Tenya and grew worried. The incident of Zero Year has made an impact on Tenya when Riddler was about to kill him, and learning that his brother was saved by the Yamashiro siblings when they interfered Stain's fight in Hosu City. It was a touchy subject for him, but Izuku was wondering how he's handling it.
"So, Iida...um..."
"If it's about my brother or my well-being, don't be concerned." Tenya said, turning to Izuku and smile at him after taking off his hood. "I'm sorry if I made you worry. Everything'll be fine."
Tenya then turned and walked away, leaving Izuku alone, who's now concerned of him more than ever before. Tenya said not to be concerned when he looked at his eyes, but Izuku can tell something is wrong with him.
Aizawa didn't arrive just yet, giving Class 1-A time to discuss their experience during the previous incidents and the Sports Festival.
"It's hard to believe that we've lost so many Pro Heroes and the students." Mina said sadly. "Even Ethan have lost Mr. Wayne from Ra's Al Ghul and the League of Assassins."
"Yeah, I felt bad for him." Eijiro agrees. "Not to mention that the people aren't too happy about it between Zero Year and the Court of Owls incidents."
"I saw the people on the street went on strike against the Hero Safety Public Commission. And they demand that the people should defend themselves." Toru told them, frightened of the angry mob.
"Yeah, me too." Ojiro agrees seriously. "Because of this Riddler guy, they're starting to lose the Pro Heroes trust."
"But the bright side is Batman and the gang are back in action, and put a stop to this Riddler and the Court of Owls." Sero states with an assuring grin. "Hopefully, things will be back to normal."
"It's not that simple, Sero." Tsuyu points out bluntly.
Sero and the others knew that Tsuyu is right about since the people are now on strike, meaning that the Pro Heroes and the HSPC are trying to deal with this situation. While they were talking about the incidents, Izuku walked over to his desk and took his seat. It did make an impact after dealing with robots and the Court of Owls a while back, but the students thought that they can fight against them which it got them losing the number of kids along with the Pro Heroes. The chattering came to an end when Aizawa opened to door to reveal himself.
"Morning." Aizawa greets in his normal, tired voice.
"Good morning, Mr. Aizawa." Students of Class 1-A replied in unison, already back in their seats and watched as Aizawa trudged his way in the room.
"Mr. Aizawa, we haven't heard from Ethan or anyone besides back in the fight. What happen?" Tsuyu asks, grew worried of the Dark Knight.
"The Sons of Batman Motorcycle Club remained in Gotham City to give her a helping hand by protecting the city. Ethan and the others are still patrolling the city after hearing about a certain killer on a loose few months ago." Aizawa explains. "Anyway, we have a big class today on Hero Informatics."
This made most of the students freeze in fear and began to sweat at what was to come.
'Oh no!'
'Informatics?! Please don't tell me it's a pop quiz!'
'Crap! I bet it's about Hero Laws. I'm so bad at stuff like that!'
Some of the students were just imagining it's on the subject they're bad at as well, but...
"You need codenames." Aizawa said bluntly. "Time to pick your hero identities."
Worries were replaced with erupting cheers of joy from the students.
"THIS IS GONNA BE TOTALLY AWESOME!"
Aizawa's eyes flashed red as he activated his Quirk. Order returned to the classroom as the students sat back down in their chairs and remain silent.
"This is related to the Pro Hero draft picks that I mentioned the last time we were in class together." Aizawa explains. "Normally, students don't have to worry about the draft yet. Not until they're second or third year actually, but your class is different. In fact, by extending offers to first-years like you, pros are essentially investing in your potential. Any offers can be rescinded if they're interested in you dies down before graduation, though."
This caused some fear and worry in some of the students of the class.
"Stupid, selfish adults." Minoru mumbled.
"So, what you're saying is, we'll still have to prove ourselves after we've got recruited?" Toru asked.
"Correct. Now, here are the totals for those of you who got offers." Aizawa said as he pulls out a remote and pressing a button, showing the number of internships each student got.
Todoroki - 4123
Bakugo - 3556
Tokoyami - 360
Iida - 301
Kaminari - 272
Yaoyorozu - 108
Kirishima - 68
Uraraka - 20
Sero - 14
"In past years, it's been more spread out, but there's a pretty big gap this time." Aizawa said, pointing at the few names he's displayed on the board.
These were all the students that got into the tournament during the UA Sports Festival, which it got restarted because of Ra's Al Ghul and the League of Assassins.
"Gah! That's no fair!" Denki shouts, threw his head back in frustration since the number of offers he got were nowhere near the top three.
"What about the real star? Moi?" Yuga complains while Mina looked in shock that she wasn't even on the board.
"Todoroki got the most, ahead of Bakugo?" Kyoka questions with surprised look on her face.
"Yeah, it's the opposite of how they were placed in the festival." Eijiro points out as the other classmates looked surprised by this.
"They probably weren't excited about working with the guy that had to be chained up at the end." Sero said.
"IF I SCARED A PRO, THEY'RE JUST WEAK!" Bakugo shouted angrily. "BUT WHEN I GET AN INTERN, I WILL HUNT BATMAN DOWN AND KICK HIS ASS!?"
"No matter how much you try, he'll always outmatch you in skills." Sato told him. "Just give it up, man, he outclassed you in martial arts and technicality."
"Which reminds me." Aizawa said, turns to Bakugo with a serious glare. "Bakugo, don't even try to hunt him or try to beat him. The result will remain the same no matter how much you try, he'll even break every bones in your body if you do."
Bakugo couldn't help but growl in annoyance, knew that he's right, but it won't stop him though.
Momo just sighed sadly. While 108 agencies were wanting her for their intern, it's still a very low number compared to the others. Out of the top 10 students on board, Momo was number 7.
"That's amazing, you must be proud." Momo said with a smile, turns to Todoroki.
"There offers are probably because of my father." Shoto said bitterly, knew what was really going on.
He's the son of Endeavor, and having him give any Hero out their major bragging rights. It if wasn't for his father's status, Shoto would have no doubt have all those offers gone to Izuku. However, with everything going on in the past few months between the three incidents, Shoto became part of the Justice League after accepting his brothers offer and extended his training to master both fire and ice Quirks. He's planning on staying at the Watchtower to continue further of his training with Dabi.
"People want us!" Ochaco said, gasped happily as she reached in front of her and shook Tenya by his shoulders.
After her defeat at the UA Sports Festival, she was sure that no one wants her, but she was wrong. Izuku however, wasn't too happy that he didn't get any offers at all.
"Midoriya, you got none." Minoru said, shook him softly. "I bet everyone was really grossed out by the crazy way you were fighting."
Though, it probably the reason why Izuku didn't get any of the offers because of him not controlling his Quirk and his recklessness.
"Despite these results, you'll all be interning with Pros. Got it? Even those of you who didn't get any offers." Aizawa stated, causing Mina and the others to perk up in surprise.
"So, we're all interning?" Izuku asks, widen his eyes.
"Yes, you've already got to witness the fight between the vigilantes and the villains on the USJ Facility." Aizawa said. "Also Ra's Al Ghul and the League of Assassins may have killed Bruce Wayne at the Sports Festival, but Batman didn't let him get away with it. Then there's the Zero Year incident, caused by Riddler when he bombed the power plants, water purifications, etc., that causes a riot to broke out and made a loss of the number of the students and the Pros. And lastly, the Court of Owls murdering civilians and try to overwhelm us to create their own utopia. Thanks to the Bat Family, Catwoman, and Delta, they're able to stop them while facing difficult challenges. But it'll still be helpful to see the Pros at work. Up close and personal in the field, firsthand."
"And for that, we need Hero names!" Sato said, pumping his fist.
"Things are suddenly getting a lot more fun!" Ochaco chirped.
However, Aizawa glared at the students since they're not taking it seriously as he flashed his eyes, getting their attention.
"Do you still think everything is a game to you?!" Aizawa growled. "Did you forget about what happen to the Pros and the civilians that were killed in the Zero Year incident and the Court of Owls murdering people?! Did you forget that Ra's Al Ghul and the League of Assassins have killed Bruce Wayne?! Let me tell you one thing, being a hero isn't a game! Ethan have lost Mr. Wayne and you think everything is a joke to you?!"
The students of Class 1-A are about to answer, but Aizawa beats them to it.
"Ethan Wayne lost Bruce because of Ra's Al Ghul few months ago, and he's back in action as Batman along with the Bat Family, Catwoman, and Delta! Hell, even the Sons of Batman Motorcycle Club left Japan and getting to Gotham City to protect the city while honoring Bruce's code and his will." Aizawa told them. "Ethan and his team have been the Heroes longer than any of you, but they don't even care about money, fame, or glory. They're doing it because they need to, even if they put their lives on the line. We've lost many of the Pro Heroes and lost the students of U.A. mostly because of Riddler and the Court of Owls! It's time for all of you to grow up and take it seriously, because you'll end up like the others if you don't!"
The students of Class 1-A are beginning to understand why Aizawa is angry, to the point that he's lecturing them and reminding them about the incidents. They knew that Ethan and the others were patrolling the city, because they're carrying out the legacy of the original heroes and they've done it for years. Even after everything happened to them, it got them realizing that being a Hero isn't as easy as they think and remembering the loss of between the Pro Heroes and the civilians. Aizawa then started to regain his composure.
"As I was about to tell you all before you guys think it's a game, these Hero names will likely be temporary, but take them seriously or..."
Before Aizawa could finish his sentence, the door slides open and Midnight revealed herself.
"...you'll have hell to pay later!"
The students of Class 1-A turned to the door when they saw Midnight. Most of the boys got flustered when they saw her, while Denki, Sero, and mostly Mineta grinned in perversion when she walked into the classroom. The girls all stared in awe at her beauty and maturity.
"What you pick today could be your codename for life. You better be careful, or you'll be stuck with something utterly indecent." Midnight said as she walked into the room, walking in a seductive manner with her hands behind her head, her hips swaying, and her breasts bouncing lightly.
"It's Midnight!" Class 1-A shouts in unison.
"Yeah, she's got a good point. Midnight is going to have final approval over your names." Aizawa agrees, pulling out the sleeping bag. "It's not my forte."
In Aizawa's case, when he went to U.A. High, it was Present Mic came up the idea and gave him the name of 'Eraser Head'. Only because Aizawa didn't care for what he called nor about being on the spotlight.
"The you give yourself is important. It helps your image and shows what kind of Hero you wanna be in the future." Aizawa explains. "A codename tells people exactly what you represent. Take 'All Might' for example."
Soon, the dry erase boards and markers were handed out to the class and everyone started to think about their potential Hero names. Like Aizawa told them, they needed something that embodied the kind of Hero they all wanted to be one day. For Izuku, he's been doing some thinking about his Hero name.
While Aizawa is taking his nap, as usual, Midnight spoke.
"Now students, who among you is ready to share?" Midnight asked the students.
'We're presenting these?!' Eijiro mentally exclaims.
'Oh great! Who's got the balls to go first?!' Sero mentally adds.
Yuga was the first to walk up to the front of the class. He faced he class and held his board, but didn't show what he wrote.
"Hold you breath." Yuga said for dramatic effect. "The Shining Hero..."
He then held up his board for all to see.
"My name is I cannot stop twinkling!" Yuga said. "Mon ami! You can't deny my sparkle."
'COME ON!' Students of Class 1-A mentally shouts with white eyes and jaws dropped, which they're less impressed.
Midnight grabbed a marker and his board, begins to fix it up.
"It'll be better this way. Take out the 'I' and shorten the 'cannot' to 'can't'." Midnight explains, showing him the fixes she made.
"It's stunning, mademoiselle." Yuga replied with a nod, winking at her.
"SHE LIKES IT?!" Students of Class 1-A exclaims in total shock.
"Also, you're not really French, are you? That's just an act." Sato said.
"Okie dokie, lemme go next!" Mina said happily, skipped over to the front of the class after Yuga sat down.
She placed her board on the podium and presented her Hero name.
"My codename: Alien Queen!"
"Hold on! Like that horrible monster with the acidic blood?! I don't think so!?" Midnight exclaims in horrifying expression, remembered when she first watches the movie and being freaked out while traumatized by the movie.
"Dang it..." Mina grumbled and returned to her seat.
'That one wasn't okay?' Students of Class 1-A mentally questions in shocked, but they heard about the copyright laws. Now the pressure was on for the rest of the classmates. 'It's this the first two were so weird! I feel like I have to come up with something clever now!'
"Ribbit." Tsuyu said, raised her hand. "I think I've got this one. Okay if I go next?"
"Come on up!" Midnight said with a smile.
Tsuyu walked up to the front of the class and looked at the name she's written on the board.
"I've had this name in mind since grade school." Tsuyu told them, turned it to show everyone. "Rainy Season Hero: Froppy."
"That's delightful!" Midnight said, leaving them surprised. "It makes you sound approachable. What a great example of a name everyone will love!"
"Froppy! Froppy! Froppy! Froppy!" The students of Class 1-A started chanting happily for Tsuyu's new hero name, making her smile, but they're all happy to hear a normal name.
Eijiro was up next.
"I've got mine too. The Sturdy Hero. My name is Red Riot!"
"'Red Riot'?" Midnight repeats, intrigued by the name as she noticed the similarities it had to another Hero. "Interesting. You're paying homage to the Chivalrous Hero, Crimson Riot, yes?"
"That's right. He may be kind of old school, but someday, I wanna be just like he was." Eijiro said sheepishly, rubbing the back of his head which he based it on Crimson Riot's look. "Crimson is my idol."
"If you're bearing the name of someone you admire, you have that much more to live up to." Midnight told him, impressed.
"I accept the challenge!" Eijiro said with determination, pumping his fist with a grin.
Izuku looked at his fellow classmates with look of admiration. He remembered some of the Hero names he'd picked out for himself when he's little, but the Hero names were based around 'Might'.
"Man, I still haven't been able to think that's cool enough." Denki said with a ponder, try to come up with a Hero name when Kyoka taps his shoulder.
"Hey, I've got one. How does 'Jamming-Yay' sound to you?" Kyoka suggested.
"Ha! Oh, it's like Heming-way, who wrote a 'Farewell to Arms', right?" Denki asks with a smile, liking the idea. "You're clever! I like it!"
"No..." Kyoka said, leaving Denki confused which she's trying not to laugh. "It's because even though you're powerful, you'll...'Yay'...jam your brains out..."
"Oh come on, Jiro! Stop messing with me!" Denki shouts in annoyance with white eyes and a tick mark on his fist.
Kyoka was next to go up.
"The Hearing Hero. I'm Earphone Jack!"
"Now that's a good one." Midnight said.
Shoji went up after her.
"The Tentacle Hero, Tentacole."
"Oh, I like what you're doing with that." Midnight said, perked up. "A nice portmanteau."
Sero's next.
"The Taping Hero, Cellophane!"
"That's on the nose. Good work!" Midnight said, given him a thumbs up which made him blush a little.
Ojiro went up and flexed his tail.
"The Martial Arts Hero, Tailman!"
"No surprise with that one, I guess!"
"I'm the Sweet Hero: Sugarman!"
"Perfect!" Midnight cooed.
"Pinky!" Mina shouted with her fist in the air.
"Make those looks work for you, girl" Midnight cheered.
Denki came up to the podium and placed his board on it.
"Stun Gun Hero: Chargebolt! Electric, dontcha think?"
"Makes me all tingly!" Midnight gushed.
Toru came up next.
"The Stealth Hero: Invisible Girl!"
"That really suits you!" Midnight said, held up her hand to the ceiling with a big smile on her face. "Now come on, who's gonna step up next?"
Momo was up next.
"I hope that I can live up to this name." Momo said. "The Everything Hero: I'm Creati"
"Creative!" Midnight praised her.
Todoroki was next.
"Shoto." Todoroki said simply.
"Just your name? Is that it?" Midnight asked, confused.
"Yeah, but only because my name is a combination between the two kanjis, burn and freeze." Shoto explains.
"Oh, that make sense." Midnight said in realization.
'The reason is Toya told me about my name, which it makes sense.' Shoto mentally thought.
Then, Tokoyami was next.
"Jet-Black Hero: Tsukuyomi!"
"Ah, God of the Night!" Midnight moaned in delight.
Minoru was up, but because of his pint size, he had to hold it up for everyone to see.
"I'm the Fresh-Pick Hero: Grape Juice!"
"Very kitschy!"
Koda was up and showed his Hero name 'The Petting Hero: Anima. He only shows the name because of his shy nature.
"Yep! All about it!" Midnight said with a thumbs up.
"King Explosion Murder!" Bakugo said, showing the name with a menacing look on his face.
"I'm gonna say that one's a little too violent." Midnight said, not approving in the slightest.
"Huh, whaddya mean?!" Bakugo yelled at her, who didn't really show a reaction to him.
"Why don't you be 'Explosion Boy'?" Eijiro suggests.
"Or better yet, 'Bomb Baby Bakugo'?" Sero said, causing everyone, except Tenya and Izuku, laughed.
"YOU SHUT UP!?" Bakugo yelled at them.
After Bakugo was forced to sit back down and rethink of the name Ochaco saw her opportunity and walked to the podium.
"This is the name I thought of: Uravity." Ochaco said shyly.
"I just love that!" Midnight said with her hands together.
Ochaco let out a sigh of relief and smiled as she heads back to her desk.
"To be honest, choosing names is going faster than I thought it would." Midnight said. "All we have left is Bakugo, who needs to rethink his, and Iida. Oh yes, and Midoriya too."
With Bakugo still trying to rethink of the name, Tenya would be up next. He stared down at his board for a while.
'Tenya, I'm offering you an internship for the agency. I was saved by not only Batman, but Katana and Ronin, these three saved my life.'
As it turned out, Tenya had a chance to be on the internship with his brother. However, on his mind, he still remembered of Riddler about to kill him and being saved by Batman a while back during the Zero Year incident.
'After what you told me of their identities and the history of the Justice League, it made me realize about the true reason why I became a Hero. Tenya, whenever you had the chance on interning with me, we'll call out Batman and the others since it'll be the time to find a Hero Killer.'
And with that in mind, Tenya then writing down the Hero name. Then, he walked up to the podium and placed his board in front of the class.
"Turbo Enforcer!" Tenya said in determination. "After learning of Ethan saved my brother and me, I've decided to come up with the name based on speed and law."
"Now that's a fast one! Nice work!" Midnight praises her.
While Bakugo is busy rewriting the name, Izuku was still thinking of a name.
"Well, Midoriya, are you ready?" Midnight asked, earned his attention.
"Oh, y-yes." Izuku said as he got up from his seat and walked to the front of the class. Taking a deep breath, he flipped the board and revealed his Hero name to his class.
When they saw it, a majority of the class were shocked at the name he's presenting.
"Really, Midoriya?" Minoru inquires.
"You sure about that?" Denki adds.
"Yeah man, remember, that could be your name forever." Eijiro points out.
"Right, I use to hate it, but then something changed." Izuku told them. "I guess...someone taught me that it could have a different meaning...and that had a huge impact on how I felt. So now, I really liked it."
Izuku even remembered during the Combat Training, fighting against Bakugo which it's really intense. He even told him the name 'Deku' is a name of a hero.
"Deku, that has to be my codename." Izuku said with a smile.
Everyone was taken aback by his speech, even Bakugo was left speechless. They didn't think Izuku would take the name he chose seriously and him being reminded about the meaning of being a Hero. They soon began to understand what that name really meant to him.
While in the Staff Room, Cementoss was looking over the school e-mail. They've been blowing up with internship offers that have been sent from every Hero agencies throughout Japan.
"Huh, offers for the first years are still coming in." Cementoss said, earned Toshinori's attention. "Looky here."
"Who's that one for?" Toshinori asks.
"It's for Midoriya." Cementoss answered simply.
"Really? Who's after him?" Toshinori asks, leaning in to see the name of the intern, but when he saw it, it got him shocked. "WHAT THE?! ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!"
Back at Class 1-A, Bakugo's Hero name is ejected again because he changed it to 'Lord Explosion Murder' which apparently, he wasn't given one in the end.
"Now that everyone's decided one of their Hero names, we can go back to talking about your upcoming internships." Aizawa informed the students after waking up from his nap to finish the class. Midnight was standing next to him, stretching her arms. "They'll last for one week. As for who you'll be working with, those of you who were on the board will choose from among your offers, everyone else will have a different list. You have a lot to think about. There are around 40 agencies across the country who've agreed to take on interns from your class. Each agency has a different specialty that its Heroes focus on. Keep that in mind."
"Imagine that you were Thirteen." Midnight adds to help the students further understand what they had to do. "You'd want to choose a place that focuses on rescuing people, not fighting villains. Understood?"
"Think carefully before you decide." Aizawa told them. "Also, the Bat Family, Catwoman, and Delta aren't doing any offers because mostly of them as vigilantes. However, the people are still on strike and the HSPC are still dealing with them. Be mindful that they're still on patrol over the city and make sure you understand what I told you."
"Yes, sir!" Students of Class 1-A said in unison as the bell rang.
The lists were handed out to the students they assigned to. Both Todoroki and Bakugo each got several pages with offers.
"Turn in your choices before the weekend." Aizawa suggested.
"We've only got two days?!" Sero exclaimed as Aizawa and Midnight made their way to the door.
"Yeah, so you should start now." Aizawa answered, turning back to the class.
Midnight turned and gave the class a wave goodbye and a wink.
"You're dismissed." Aizawa said, closed the door and leaving the students alone for their break.
At Hosu City, the members of the Tack Force X, including Nikita, have arrived at the city a few days ago after hearing the incident about Stain still at large and on a killing spree. They've also heard that the number of incident about the death of Bruce Wayne, Zero Year caused by the Riddler, and the Court of Owls. It also got them noticed that the angry mob were on strike.
"Sounds like the people are pissed about something." Zane states.
"It would seem that the Pro Heroes and the Hero Safety Public Commission are starting to lose trust to the people." Nikita points out with a ponder. "We should head somewhere that's private and in order to have a meeting elsewhere."
"It might be because of the Zero Year and the Court." Bryan pondered. "Which it does explain why they're mad about it."
"Yes, and it would seem that Madam President has paid the price for not going after the Riddler or the Court of Owls." Nikita agrees with a serious look on her face. "We best move out and not to draw attention."
And with that, the Task Force X left the scene. Little did they know, a vigilante named Red-X was watching the scene and the Task Force X.
"I guess playing innocent won't cut it around here when you're a Pro Hero." Red-X scoffs, taking the photo of Ethan and a boy next to him was Elijah Summers out of the utility belt. "But I'm glad you're not a Pro Hero and taking up Bruce's mantle, Ethan Summers. I hope I get see you, brother."
Red-X took off his mask, revealing an appearance of a young man with medium brown hair reaches down to his shoulders and tied into a ponytail, and brown eyes. He had a scar across his face.
