This is the 21st chapter. I don't own the series of My Hero Academia or the series of Justice League.
BrianShooter672: First, you need to slow down, I'm still focusing on the Hero Killer: Stain and like I told you, it'll be in the future chapters. Be patient. And thanks, I've been doing some research about Red X which it's mostly on the Teen Titans, where Dick Grayson originally made that suit and use it for cover to get to Slade, but was stolen by the mysterious individual and became an anti-hero.
Bad Encounter, Common Enemy
At the Batcave, Jason Todd was gathering his equipment, including his dual pistols and his upgraded suit and mask when he noticed Tamao gathering her guns of her own which was a Desert Eagle Mark XIX, two Salient Arms International Glock 17, Saiga 12, Savage 10BA, and AAC Honey Badger PDW, along with the clips and magazines in the bag. Jason can tell that Tamao was trained on using those guns which it got him impressed.
"How long have you been using those guns?" Jason asks, earned her attention. "I can tell you've had ways with guns."
"I learned how to use them by John Diggle and John Wick, both of them taught me in using guns, knives, combat, and even grenades. They even taught me in combat after I left Japan years ago." Tamao explains. "John Diggle is the hero, goes by the name of Spartan. He told me about his past life when he's in the US Army, and helped Oliver Queen defend Star City as a vigilante known as Spartan. He even told me about Oliver Queen, who's known as Green Arrow which it almost sounds like he's 'Robin Hood'."
"Sounds about right." Jason said with a chuckle. "Oliver does look like Robin Hood, he even dressed like one, too."
It got Tamao chuckled a bit.
"I know Oliver once, along with his sidekick, Roy Harper. Though, I've never been on good terms with Oliver, but Roy, that's different because him and I were old friends back at the day when I formed a team known as the Outlaws." Jason told her. "We've been fighting against criminals over the years, but we've got disbanded because of the Joker's Daughter."
"Joker's Daughter?" Tamao inquires curiously.
"Duela Dent, she's a crazy bitch who's born in the suburbs outside of Gotham City." Jason answered. "She did many crazy things in her life, including in Gotham City and let tell you, she's so crazily obsessed with destruction of beauty itself, it's disturbing."
"Oh." Tamao said with a cringe, feeling uncomfortable.
"Yeah." Jason said. "Anyway, after the team disbanded, Roy left the team, and it comes to the point that I have to fight alone. Not the best option, but I mostly fight solo to get the job done."
Tamao can tell that Jason Todd has experienced in mostly fighting alone and sometimes teaming up like the Bat Family and the Outlaws. Jason noticed that Tamao has been trained by John Diggle and John Wick, but not completely after leaving US to come back to Japan because she's mostly fighting against criminals as Delta. He then come up with an idea.
"Tamao, after Stain is captured, how about I train you?" Jason offers which it got her surprised. "True that you learned from Diggle and Wick, plus your old man and Dick, but it'll take more than just guns and all that to get the job done. The reason I'm asking is because the way you're fighting is mostly in military and brawling, I can teach you to extend your fighting style. Plus, I can teach you a couple of tricks I picked up during my travels along with knife fighting, guns, you name it."
Tamao was shocked that Jason Todd is offering her for more training in order for her to extend her fighting style and getting better of her arsenals. Even though it's true that her fighting style is a mix between military combat and street fighting, but she managed on her own as Delta for only 2 years which she still needs more training in order to fight against criminals. She thought about it for a few minutes as she accepts his offer.
At the Watchtower, Shoto had arrived with his brother after given him an explanation about the internships and the Pro Heroes offered him to join the agencies. Toya can tell that most of them that the Pro Heroes offered was mostly because of Enji Todoroki as one of the Top Ranked Heroes. While it's that Enji has been a Pro Hero and Ranked as number 2, but he's been a terrible husband to Rei and a terrible father to the children. Toya told him that in the Justice League, they can train the upstart heroes for in their own capabilities like: combat, gadgets, superpowers, tactics and more, but it only requires to someone who's been a hero longer than the rookie heroes.
As soon as they made it to the training facility, Toya stands in front of his brother.
"Now Shoto, I'm gonna go over the results since the UA Sports Festival and the incidents between the Zero Year and the Court of Owls." Toya told him. "Your combat prowess is improved after me, Hawkgirl, and Green Arrow have trained you, and me taught you how to use the fire while you're able to master your Ice powers, but you're relying on defense too much. Because of that, you're using Ice powers for only defense. It's all well and good, but it won't be enough to stop the criminals."
Shoto can understand that because Toya was watching the entire Sports Festival.
"Also, you're getting better on using your Fire powers while using it in long range and using Ice powers for defense and counters which your power can still use work. Your combat skills can also use work, which I'm impressed you can handle Bakugo on your own without using your powers and able to go for the win." Toya continues. "But as I said, both your powers and your combat prowess can use work."
"Dad never taught me anything about hand-to-hand combat, he only taught me on Fire Quirk while try to get me to use the 'Flashfire Fist'." Shoto points out. "You and the League taught me on using those powers and combat, but I put it to use on those villains."
"You idiot, do you honestly think I would brag about beating them? No, I took out those criminals because it's the right thing to do." Toya told him with a chuckle. "But the point is, you still have a lot to learn about your powers and your combat. How you're gonna use them is up to you. I'm not forcing you to learn about our old mans way, you're gonna use your powers your way, not me, not our family, not the League, you."
Shoto begins to realize what his brother is telling him, and now knows that he's right since he's born with the quirk. He then gave him a nod with an understanding.
"So, when can we start this training?" Shoto inquires.
"I've got someone else who can help you learn your powers better." Toya said as the heroes named Sunstorm and Snowstorm revealed themselves. "Shoto, these are the Nakamura twins. Itsuki and Hayato, known as Sunstorm and Snowstorm."
Itsuki Nakamura is a lean muscular young man with black short hair and blue eyes. He wore a Sunstorm attire that resembles a white tight bodysuit and the Rising Sun pattern at the chest part, red spandex shorts, red boots, red gloves, and white mask.
Hayato Nakamura is also a lean muscular young man with black short hair and blue eyes. He wore a Snowstorm attire that resembles a light blue tight bodysuit and snowflake at the chest part, white spandex shorts, white boots, white gloves, and white mask.
"These two help you train your powers and your combat prowess for this week." Toya explains. "I've already talked to Fuyumi, Natsuo, and Mom, letting them know that I got someone to help you."
"So, they're gonna be training me?" Shoto asks surprisingly.
"Yes, and they'll be training you in combat." Toya answered. "But in my opinion, I don't think a week is enough. In my recommendation, we'll start by going to Sekoto Peak at 5 early in the morning, after that we'll go on a patrol at Hosu City in case if Stain ever decided to strike. If nothing else, we'll come back here at 1 for the Nakamura twins to train you. Sound fair?"
"You planned ahead on making a schedule for me to train and patrolling the city." Shoto states.
"That, and to help you hone your skills while learning some new skills." Toya points out. "The villains will get stronger by the minute after learning about the number of the Pro Heroes being killed during the Zero Year incident and the Court of Owls. The League and I were able to help as many as we can while taking down a couple of rioters. But we won't be lucky if it happens again. Shoto, you have be ready for anything, you'll never know when the criminals will strike next."
Shoto can tell of Toya's statement, knew that he's right about it since he was there in between the Zero Year and the Court of Owls. He then gave him a now as he readied his fighting stance, began his training.
Around in Japan, Izuku Midoriya was interning with an elderly man named Gran Torino, which of course, All Might gave him the details about him. All Might told him about Gran Torino, who happens to be a teacher back in U.A. High in only one year and his homeroom teacher while knowing about One For All Quirk. Gran Torino was also the sworn friend to the previous owner of One For All, but he retired a long time as a Hero. However, All Might was scared about it since Izuku got an offer, he should work with him because Gran Torino knows about One For All more than anyone else besides All Might.
Though, Izuku doesn't know what to make of Gran Torino. He knows that Gran Torino is pretty old, but he's either senile, hard of hearing, or just plain bonkers. It left Izuku disappointed, but the tables have turned when Gran Torino used his Quirk to blast off towards the ceiling like a rocket and then towards the wall. Gran Torino knew about the UA Sports Festival which it left him disappointed that Izuku was being reckless on using the One For All because All Might didn't train him well. While it's true that All Might became the Symbol of Peace and the Number One Hero, but he's a terrible teacher.
It got Izuku realizing that Gran Torino really is All Might's mentor.
Though during his time sparing against Gran Torino, Izuku had a hard time trying to follow his movements and dodging. Izuku was able to notice that Gran Torino passed him twice and turned around to notice the elder Hero was behind him. Izuku was about to use the attack, but Gran Torino had taken him down in the end.
Gran Torino gave him the reason why he out bested Izuku. While it's true that Izuku understands the fundamentals, but the admiration for All Might and sense of loyalty to him are shackles to him. It left Izuku shocked and he has a lot to think about it on his own.
At the Best Jeanist agency, Bakugo decided to be interned with Best Jeanist. It got him to a bad start since Best Jeanist doesn't like him very much and knows full well why he chose him because he's a Number 4 Hero. True that Bakugo has a powerful and knows how to handle it, but the only thing about him was an arrogant pride and ferocity. It comes to the point that Best Jeanist decided to discipline him.
Even though, Best Jeanist did watch the UA Sports Festival and helped fighting against the League of Assassins, but wasn't able to help Batman save Bruce Wayne months ago. Best Jeanist can understand why, but he was grateful for the Bat Family, Catwoman, and Delta saving lives because he needed the help. It also got him hoping that he'll be able to meet Batman along with the others.
At the Fourth Kind Agency, both Eijiro and Tetsutetsu decided to be interned with Fourth Kind. Instead of being rivals, they're friends. Fourth Kind was impressed by them using their guts, but he decided to teach them by not relying on brute force alone, and teaching them manners while he's at it.
At the streets, Ochaco decided to intern with Gunhead. Despite his intimidating look, Gunhead was surprisingly friendly. He was even helping her by teaching the fighting style Gunhead Martial Arts. Of course like Fourth Kind, Gunhead gives Ochaco a few pointers about being a Pro Hero and how the system works.
At the TV Station, both Momo and Itsuka were interning with the Snake Hero: Uwabami. Despite the loss in the Sports Festival, there weren't many Heroes for the both of them to intern with, and Uwabami was one of the few that wanted the two girls. Still wanting to prove herself after losing disastrously in her battle with Tokoyami, Momo eagerly accepts her offer. Itsuka was able to keep in touch with James after learning of Ethan returned in the action months ago. Though, Itsuka promised James that they'll be going on a date since she'll be busy for modelling.
Though the main reason why Uwabami wanted them was because they're both cute young ladies, much to their dismay.
Kyoka was having a hard time getting used to her internship with Death Arms. She has no breaks on her patrol of the city and was running most of the time, trying to keep up.
Minrou was complaining about his time with Mt. Lady. He was being forced to clean the apartment all by himself, which it's not some kind of roleplay he had in mind, but only because Minoru wanted to do something perverted. Mt. Lady however was thinking about Adam, which it got her shocked that he was Atom Smasher. However, she didn't care about it, which she kept in touch while fantasizing about her and Adam making passionate love, being married, and having kids. Minoru was wonder what Mt. Lady was thinking about, but decided not to.
Tsuyu chooses to intern with Selkie and his sidekick Sirius aboard in the Oki Mariner. While she able to be in the environment that compliments her Quirk, but she's finding the experience to be kind of boring.
And now at Hosu City, the Todoroki brothers were patrolling in the city to keep an eye on Stain and criminals. Then, something caught in their eyes when they noticed the members of the Task Force X were also patrolling the city.
"Who are these guys?" Shoto asks.
"Suicide Squad." Dabi said in annoyance. "This must be the new team Nikita was talking about. And from the looks of them, these guys have no criminal records. Most of them have military backgrounds and some have taken up their mantles."
"I see." Shoto said. "It sounded like the League wasn't on good terms with them."
"No, mostly because the first Suicide Squad were criminals and the Amanda was in charge before she got fired and imprisoned by the Government and Nikita." Dabi points out when they noticed Red X jumped from roof to roof. "What the?!"
"What's wrong?" Shoto asks, turns to him.
"Never seen that guy before, but whoever he is, he's trouble." Dabi told him as he and Shoto gives chase.
Red X then turns his head, noticed that the Todoroki brothers were chasing after them. Both Dabi and Shoto are shooting flames at Red X, causing him to jump off of the roof and threw 3 shurikens at them, causing the two to dodge while jumped off of the roof. Red X then lands on the ground wand eventually comes to a stop. Both Dabi and Shoto lands on the ground as they readied their fighting stance.
Red X look at the Todoroki brothers, studying the movements with no details.
"Look you guys, I'm not the bad guy here." Red X told them, tried to reason with them.
"Then why are you wearing a skull mask?" Dabi asks. "You look like a bad guy to us."
"Point taken, but look, I was on a patrol after hearing about Stain on a loose." Red X points out. "Also, I'm looking for someone."
"Like who?" Shoto asks with a glare. "And why?"
"If you beat me, I'll tell you since talking is pointless anyway." Red X said.
And with these words, they charge against each other when Red X jumps in midair, delivering a full split kick at the Todoroki brothers, causing them to stumble. Dabi tries to deliver a punch to the jaw, but Red X stops him and deliver a punch to the face. Red X turns when he noticed Shoto uses the Ice powers at him, causing him to throw a bomb pellet at the ice and explodes, breaking the ice. Red X took his chance as he delivers a flying roundhouse kick to the face, making Shoto stumble as he then delivers a low sweep, knocking him down to the ground.
"You son of a..."
Dabi then shoots the fire at Red X when he covers himself and Shoto with his cloak. Dabi stops firing his flames when Red X leaps in midair, carrying Shoto and delivers a flying kick to the face, making him stumble a bit.
"Idiot, are you trying to kill him?!" Red X growls while puts him down to the ground. "You're lucky I updated the suit, making it fireproof and bulletproof!"
"Wait, what?!" Dabi exclaims with his eyes widen.
"Wasn't he your friend?" Red X questions, readied his fighting stance. "It pisses me off when some scumbag uses someone as a meat shield!"
"He's my brother!" Dabi argued. "Shoto has been through hell because of Endeavor! He's abuses my family, including Shoto! While it's true that he's been a Pro Hero and ranked Number 2, but he's a terrible father to me, mom, Shoto, Fuyumi, and even Natsuo! The League saved me when I was on a brink of death, they even took me in and trained me while making an addition to my DNA by having me resisted to cold and fire combined!"
"I'm sorry about that, I really do, but that's no excuse for trying to kill someone like him." Red X points out. "Just be glad that I save his ass back there."
Dabi knew that Red X is making a valid point about it as he lowered his fighting stance.
"So...you're really after Stain?" Dabi questions.
"Who else? Look, it's like I'm trying to tell you before we bitch slap each other, I was patrolling the city after hearing about Stain a few months back." Red X explains. "But there's another reason, I'm looking for someone. He goes by the name of Ethan Wayne."
Shoto groans, regaining his consciousness as he stands up.
"You're looking for Ethan, why?" Shoto groans with a question.
"What's my reason is my own." Red X told him. "All I'm saying is I'm looking for him and you can leave it at that."
"Fair enough." Dabi said, crossed his arms. "Anyway, since we're looking for Stain, how about we work together to look for him?"
"Yeah, here's the thing, I don't play well with others. Because I mostly go solo." Red X points out. "But since we share a common enemy, might as well team up with you guys."
Shoto wasn't sure about teaming with him after learning about Red X done solo fights on his own while Dabi can tell that he's an experienced vigilante and a fighter. With no other options, the Todoroki brothers are teaming up with Red X as they started on patrolling the city while looking for Stain.
On the other side of Hosu City, the Bat Family, Catwoman, and Delta were also patrolling the city while keeping an eye on the criminals and Stain. Batman and Robin were in the ally where the fight between Ingenium, Katana, Ronin, and Stain has taken place a few months ago, conducting an investigation.
"Are you sure this is where the fight has taken place?" Robin asks.
"Without a doubt, lets see if we can find for clues." Batman suggests.
Batman and Robin started searching for clues where the fight took place, but the Dark Knight noticed the dry blood as he narrowed his eyes.
"Uncle Iwao, run a scan and find any matches to the dry blood in this wall." Batman informed him.
'You got it.' Iwao complied as he starts scanning to run the information and found the match. 'There's one match, it belongs to Tensei Iida. Guess he put up a hell of a fight against Stain.'
"I found something!" Robin called him, earned his attention when she showed him the shrapnel with the tweezers. "It looks like a shrapnel."
'Hold on, Eri, I'll scan it right now.' Iwao told her, using the computer to scan while running the information and found the match. 'It's not a shrapnel, that's a katana shard and it belongs to Stain. With so many kills, no wonder he didn't bother to polish the damn thing.'
'Or better yet, he should've gotten himself a new one.' Nightwing states. 'If I have to guess, he used it for over decades.'
'Sounds about right, considering how many times he used.' Red Robin agrees, but noticed. 'Guys, I'm getting something.'
'What? Is it Stain?' Red Hood questions.
'No, but it's...oh hell! It's the Task Force X.' Red Robin answered in annoyance. 'Batman, they're heading your way! We'll back you two up!'
Batman then ends the transmission as he and Robin readied their batarangs, waiting for the team to arrive. Soon as they heard footsteps coming from the roof, both Batman and Robin quickly jumped away when they saw Deathstroke lands in front of them along with Vigilante (Aiden).
"I see you're here to investigate the same as us, Batman." Deathstroke said.
"And you must be Jake Wilson and Aiden Chase, known as Deathstroke and Vigilante." Batman remarked with a glare.
"You guessed right, you're as sharp as a tack like Bruce Wayne." Deathstroke said with a chuckle. "But it won't do you any good. Here's the deal, let us do our job by finding Stain and we'll be on our way."
"That's not gonna happen!" Batman said, readied his fighting stance. "We're investigating until your team decided to interfere."
"Big talk coming from a deadman." Vigilante (Aiden) remarked, readied his fighting stance. "You kiddies have no idea what you're dealing with."
"The Task Force X who's carrying out the former criminals work by finding criminals and covering up evidence." Robin retorted with a glare. "Kind of ironic that the both of you are related to the two criminals."
Vigilante (Aiden) then glared at Robin, didn't like her remark.
"You better watch it, little girl! 'Cause the next words coming out, and you're dead." Vigilante (Aiden) warned her.
"You'll have to go through us first, pal!" The voice of Nightwing said when he and the team arrived. "I suggest you back off and walk away."
"Shove off, asshole!" Peacemaker spats rudely. "Stain's our target!"
"That's funny, I don't see your names written on it, sasquatch." Red Hood remarked with a chuckle, aiming his dual pistols at him and Bloodsport.
"And I don't see your names written on it, either!" The voice of Red X said when he and the Todoroki brothers arrived. "'Cause we're looking for Stain."
"We got here first!" Batgirl snapped.
"Stain is our target and we intend to catch him!" Bloodsport retorted.
"You wanna bet!" Red Robin challenged, glaring at them.
'What the hell is going on?' Nikita demands. 'Our primary target is the Hero Killer and I ask of your team to gather information about him. And all I hear is you lot arguing like children, what happened?!'
"We have a problem, Director. It seems some Bat Team, the Todoroki's, and some Skull guy were looking for Stain, same as us." Rick informed her.
'Well, get your asses back here and bring them with you to the police station!' Nikita suggested in annoyance. 'The Commissioner has the information about Stain, but she also got something for Batman. I want you and your team to get up here, and bring them with you.'
With the transmission ended, Rick then spoke.
"Alright team, you heard her, we're heading to the Police station." Rick told them, then turns to Batman and the team. "Director Nikita wanted to bring you guys over here."
"What?! You can't be serious!" Vigilante (Aiden) exclaims in disbelief.
"I don't like it as much as you do, but we don't have a choice." Rick told him. "But we're going to be all the help we can get if we want Stain."
Vigilante (Aiden), Peacemaker, and Bloodsport didn't like the idea of teaming up with them, but they know that Rick is right.
"Well, I guess the fight is on hold for now." Deathstroke states. "So, Bats, the Director of A.R.G.U.S. want us to bring you and your team with us to the police station."
"Why?" Batman questions seriously.
"The Commissioner has the information, and it might be something that pegs your interest, including Stain." Deathstroke explains. "Also, it might be something that you'll be in for a difficult challenge that we'll all be facing soon, real soon. So, Batman, will you be cooperating with us?"
Batman then looked at his team, noticed that both Nightwing and Red Hood didn't like the idea of teaming up with the Task Force X while Catwoman, Red Robin, Delta, and Batgirl didn't the idea either, but after overhearing about the new information that both Nikita and Barbara got, there's no other option. Batman can only respond by nodding him.
"Good, then let's head out." Deathstroke suggested as he and his team heads out, heading to the police station.
"I don't know, Bats, but I hope you know what you're doing." Nightwing said.
"I don't like it as much as you do, but with the new Director here and the Commissioner has the information, we don't have a choice." Batman told him. "We might be able to learn more about the League of Villains and the Nomus."
"Nomus? Was there something we don't know about?" Red Hood asks.
"I'll explain everything on the way to the police station." Batman told him. "Right now, we're meeting them at the police station."
And with that, the Bat Family, Delta, Catwoman, Red X, and the Todoroki brothers are heading to the police station to meet up with Nikita and Barbara since they'll be needing more information about the Nomus and the League of Villains.
