Final Exams Part 3
After 16 students have failed the exams in previous matches, it was Ochaco, Yuga, Kojiro, and Togaru fighting against Starfire, Black Spider, Shazam (James), and Green Lantern (Rebecca). Kojiro was able to fire off some glue into the large surface area, restraining Black Spider, but it didn't stop him when he throws a flashbang grenade to blind them. As the light fades, they noticed that Black Spider is no longer there.
Kojiro Bondo is a tall young man who is large and muscular in stature, possessing very wide shoulders in comparison to his slender waist and unusually sizeable hands. His skin is a yellow straw-like color, and his head is shaped somewhat like glue dispenser with a lappet on top, along with seven 'eye-holes' on his face. His costume consists of a yellow, slightly baggy suit. Around his neck, wrists, and waist, he wears orange circular accessories which resemble the lower part of the cap of a bottle of glue, and around his ankles slightly thinner, taller versions of these.
"Where did they go?! Where are they?!" Kojiro exclaims in shock.
"Right here!" The voice of Starfire said, fires her star bolts from her eyes at Kojiro, sent him flying as he crashed against the ground. "Titans! Go!"
Togaru brings out his blades from his arms, charges after Black Spider, who brought out his combat knife and does the same. Togaru swings his arms while trying to slash him, but Black Spider dodges and slashed him in the leg with his knife, making him grunt in pain. Black Spider then kicks him in the knee joint and headbutts him, making Togaru stumbled a bit.
Yuga fired his beam from his stomach which Green Lantern dodges the beam easily as she fires the green beam at him, making him stumble. Green Lantern then uses her ring to construct a train, ramming Yuga and knocking him out.
"Hmph, here I thought he'd put up a challenge, but I guess not." Green Lantern said with a huff, disappointed in the fight.
Rebecca Wulong has a slender, yet lean muscular appearance with black bob hair and green eyes. Her Green Lantern attire resembles a Chinese knee-length qipao with a Green Lantern symbol from her chest, tight black bodysuit underneath, and green boots.
Ochaco tries out her new fighting style as she swings a straight jab, but Shazam (James) caught it and encounter by punching her in the stomach, making her cough the air out of her mouth. Shazam (James) then kneed to her face, followed by straight punch to the sternum and then knocking her out by delivering a hard kick to the jaw.
Kojiro groans in pain, rubbing his head when he noticed both Yuga and Ochao is knocking out while Togaru is having trouble fighting against Black Spider. Kojiro was about to use his Quirk, but Starfire quickly grabs him while taking flight.
"Using your powers against someone who doesn't fly is commendable, but you're still at a disadvantage." Starfire told him.
Starfire began grabbing his leg, starts spinning around which it got him screaming and getting dizzy. Starfire then uses her strength as she throws him down to the ground, causing Kojiro to crash against the ground as the dust came out of nowhere and creating a strong wind. As soon as the dust cleared, the ground is now a small crater and Kojiro is knocked out.
Togaru is shocked that his team were knocked out, but Black Spider punched him in the jaw.
"Never take your eyes off your opponent." Black Spider warned him.
Togaru was about to deliver a slash when Black Spider delivers a low sweep, knocking him down to the ground. Black Spider grabs hold of his ankle, breaks the bone by bending it the wrong way.
"AAAAAAAHHHHHHH!" Togaru yelled in pain.
And with that, Ochaco, Yuga, Togaru, and Kojiro have failed the exam.
At the monitor room, Izuku and Tsuyu were shocked that the other team have also failed the exam after watching the fight. Red X however, just remain calm while watching the fight since it didn't surprise him that the students have lost the fight.
"No way, they failed the exams too?!" Izuku exclaimed. "And that girl, she's really strong!"
"That's because Starfire is an alien from Tamaran." Red X told him. "You see, Tamaraneans are descended from a feline race and originally lived from Okaara before migrated or brought to Tamaran."
Both Izuku and Tsuyu were stunned of Starfire's background, and it would explain why she's strong. They heard the doors opened when Tenya and Momo entered inside of the monitor room.
"I guess that's to be expected, but still, I didn't think it was possible that the Final Exams were so hard." Tenya states.
"Yes, but I guess we still have a lot to learn about being a hero." Momo adds sadly.
"You too?" Izuku asks.
"Yeah, I got buried by Raven, she's a few steps ahead of me." Tenya replied.
"And I got poisoned by Tarantula's throwing knife. It's covered in the venom of a Black Widow spider." Momo adds. "I didn't want to lose my team when they took the effects of the venom, so I was forced to surrender."
"That's to be expected, when you're in a serious situation, you have to make a choice, even if it's hard." Red X points out.
Momo understands what Red X is telling him, but she still felt like she's been a burden. It didn't take long for Red X to notice the look on her face, knows that she needs some moral guidance.
"So, now you know why and how, it's best you focus on the other match." Red X suggested, changing the subject.
"Right, I wonder which team is taking the field next?" Tsuyu inquires.
"Ashido, Kaminari, Shoda, and Fukidashi are paired up for the next battle." Momo answered.
"They're going to be fighting against Static Shock, Nightwing, Wonder Girl, and Ravager." Red X told them.
"Nightwing, even I'm aware of what he does. But I don't know about the others." Izuku muttered with a serious glare.
"We'll have to watch this round carefully." Tenya suggested.
Soon as the match of Mina, Denki, Nirengeki, and Manga VS Static Shock, Nightwing, Wonder Girl, and Ravager is underway. Static Shock took fight with his static saucer while Wonder Girl took fight, and both Nightwing and Ravager were running and jumping from building to building.
Cassie Sandsmark has a long blond wavy hair that reaches down to her shoulder blades and blue eyes. She wore a leather jacket, a blue and red shirt underneath with a symbol of 'W' around the chest area, black skirt, black leggings with star trims underneath, red choker, and red and white shoes. She also carries a Bracelets of Submission and the Lasso of Lightning.
"Okay, so, how do we do this?" Wonder Girl questions.
"We stick to the high grounds and look for them. That way, we won't look around aimlessly below." Nightwing suggested. "Kaminari can use electricity, Ashido shoots acid, Fukidashi makes words, and Shoda can use Twin Impact which basically he can create a force of propulsion by bestow an impact on an object to send it flying at his opponents or weapons away."
"Sounds like both Shoda and Fukidashi are defense while Kaminari and Ashido are offense." Ravager states. "Well-balanced team."
"Not exactly, both Kaminari and Ashido have no control over their powers." Nightwing points out. "And that's where Static comes to play, think you can absorb electricity?"
"Sure can." Static Shock replied with a smirk. "Richie didn't have problems on beating that walking sasquatch. If he can do it, then so can I."
"I'll take care of Fukidashi, he'll be a pain in the ass since he's the trump card." Ravager said.
"Same for Shoda." Wonder Girl adds. "He'll be on for most defense in his team, and support."
"Guess that leaves me fighting against Ashido." Nightwing said.
And with that, Static Shock, Ravager, Wonder Girl, and Nightwing began searching for them while staying on above.
While on the other side of the mock industrial, Mina, Denki, Manga, and Nirengeki were running in order to get to the exit, but the problem was that they don't know where the gate is.
"Okay, so, what do you want to do?" Mina questions.
"You have any suggestions?" Manga adds. "We don't stand a chance against those guys. You saw how they fight."
Manga Fukidahi is a very short young man with fair skin and a blank, pale white speech bubble as a head and neck which can change shape and display his thoughts in written form. His costume consists of a blue shirt with red sleeves and pants covered by a series of ink bottle-like pieces of armor around his torso and legs, black on his torso and white on his legs. He wears a belt with manga panels, elbow under-length gloves, and his mask resembles a manga page template.
"Let's just run." Denki suggested. "Even if they did find us, they'll beat us easily. I can take them on easily with my own electricity. Manga and Shoda can work together by increasing our Quirks. Maybe you can use your power, it'll be awesome if we get the high score."
But he spoke too soon when both Nightwing and Ravager threw their projectiles at them, making Denki's team stop in their tracks when they saw Nightwing's team from above the buildings.
"What were you saying about getting the high score?" Nightwing said with a smirk. "Should've thought about using your head to come up with a better plan instead of trying to run."
'Crap! They knew!' Denki, Nirengeki, Mina, and Manga mentally exclaims.
Nirengeki Shoda is a chubby young man of average height, with short ice-blue hair and a round face. He has large wide eyes with small pupils, and is usually seen looking a little sheepish and apologetic; his eyebrows are almost always pointed upwards. His costume consists of a black, high-collared suit with a trim of white pale lines around its collar and him, and a similar pattern over his torso and shoulders, along with plain black pants and white knee-high boots. A blue scouter-looking device is worn over his left eye, and has a connected radar on the back of one of his gloved hands.
"Yeah...well...you can't stop us for finding the exit?!" Denki retorted, causing them to sweat drop.
"Seriously, you need to work on your comeback." Static Shock told him in a deadpan look. "Also, you should look behind you."
Denki was confused, but it's too late when Static Shock somehow uses his electricity to use magnetism at the fence, wrapping the Stun Gun Hero and stick him right into the pipes.
"There, that'll put you in 10 minutes timeout." Static Shock said with a smirk, then looks down at the others. "Now for the rest of you, hope y'all in for a beaten."
And with that, Nightwing leaps in air while drew out his escrima sticks, fighting against Mina. Wonder Girl (Cassie) flew towards Nirengeki when she delivers a punch in the face, sent him flying as he crashed against the fence. Ravager pulls out a Heckler & Koch MK 23 pistols, firing bullets at Manga which it got him to ran towards the opposite direction as she pursues after him. Static Shock keeps an eye on the fight from above in case if they need any help.
Denki is trying to struggle his way out, but couldn't because of Static's power of magnetism is too strong. He then thought of an idea about using his Quirk to discharge, but he has no control over it or wanted to get his team hurt.
While at the monitor room, Izuku, Tsuyu, Tenya, Momo, and Red X were watching the fight, knew that Denki's team are having trouble fighting against Nightwing's team.
"Static made it look easy, magnetizing Kaminari with his own powers." Tenya states with shock.
"Yeah, but how did they know where they're heading?" Izuku questions. "The industrial is like a maze."
"It's because Nightwing's team has experience." The voice of Starfire said when she and the Teen Titans members arrived in the monitor room. "Nightwing is no stranger in the environment, and neither does Static, Wonder Girl, and Ravager. They stayed above the structures instead of wandering aimlessly in the grounds."
"And we can predict that Grayson planned all of this through tactics." Cyborg adds, crossing his arms. "That's Nightwing for you, plans ahead before the fight."
Tenya, Izuku, Tsuyu, and Momo were shocked, learning of Nightwing's tactics.
Back at the mock industrial, Nightwing blocked Mina's attack and encounter by delivering a side kick to the stomach, making her stumble. Nightwing then swings his stick right in her left arm. Mina then started using her acid Quirk as she threw the acid, but Nightwing quickly dodges and tased her with the stick, knocking her out when he pucnhed her hard in the face.
Nirengeki tried to run, but Wonder Girl (Cassie) uses her Lasso of Lightning to wrap around him, generating electricity to shock him as he screams in pain and knocks him out when she pulls her lasso, slamming him down to the ground.
Manga is currently hiding inside of the building with a heavily pant, try to think of a way to get a score for the Final Exam. However, the flashbang blinds him with a flash of light, causing him to obscure his eyes. Ravager quickly went inside of the building and knocks him out with the hilt of the katana.
And with that, Mina's team failed the exam.
"Incredible! They're steps ahead...and they beat them easily." Izuku muttered with a serious look on his face.
"And they didn't think about coming up with a plan if they're dealing with experienced heroes!" Tsuyu adds.
"Like Bruce, Dick is a tactician. Some Heroes need to come up with a plan in order to deal with criminals." Red X points out. "No wonder these guys failed the exams."
"They're battle-experienced and resourceful." Tenya growled in frustration. "I can't imagine how frustrated they must be."
The door behind them opened and Ochaco gasped when she saw the screen.
"What? Mina's team lost their battle too?!" Ochaco asked, running over to the others.
"Yes." Momo said somberly. "Not even they could pull a win against Nightwing's team."
"That's terrible!" Ochaco said with concern. "Oh man! They didn't even give us a chance to win!"
"Well, you're not expecting us to make it easy for you, is there?" Cyborg said.
And then, the match of Koda, Jiro, Shihai, and Kinoko VS Green Arrow, Batwing, Long Shadow, and Bronze Tiger begins in the forest. Long Shadow kneels down to the ground while placing his hand on the ground, tracking. Bronze Tiger began to transform into a humanoid tiger as he sniffs the air, caught their scent.
"4 of them are heading at our direction. No doubt they'll try to avoid fighting us." Long Shadow said, stood up. "Only two of their powers that were sound-related. We must be cautious."
"I'll take point." Batwing suggested as he brings out his retractable wings, flies up in the sky.
"We should head inside of the forest." Green Arrow suggested. "They may have the advantage of sound and the element of surprise, but so do we."
"We can use this forest as our advantage." Broze Tiger told them. "Once Batwing got word, we'll take them down one-by-one."
"Or...we should take one of them right now." Green Arrow suggested, quickly draws out his bow and fires his flash bang arrow which quickly blinds Shihai.
Broze Tiger then charges after Shihai, using his Chi technique to knock him out. Long Shadow and Green Arrow then starts wrapping Shihai around with the rope, hanging him upside down.
"That's 1 down, 3 to go." Green Arrow said with a smirk.
"Bronze Tiger, Koda can use his power to communicate with animals. If he uses it, turn yourself back into a human form." Long Shadow suggested, earned a nod from him.
"Guys, I spot them. They're hiding and 10 miles, not far. I'll give you the coordinates." Batwing told his team.
Green Arrow, Long Shadow, and Bronze Tiger looked at their devices when they saw the dots on the screen, rush into the forest to find Kyoka's team.
While inside of the monitor room, Izuku, Tenya, Ochaco, Tsuyu, Momo, and the Teen Titans were watching the screen. They're watching Green Arrow's team entered inside of the forest, Batwing in the sky, and Jiro's team rushes through the forest.
"They took out Kuroiro easily." Izuku muttered.
"With their tracking skills, they can find them easily. However, the practical exam matches students up with those who supposed to have a hard time." Tenya points out. "That's the whole point, right?"
"Yes." Momo agrees.
"And it's easy to see what this teams weaknesses are." Izuku adds.
"I agree." Tsuyu nods. "What are they gonna do about those guys?"
"Green Arrow's team specialty is tracking, they can track down criminals no problem." The voice of Nightwing said, entered inside of the room. "But as for Long Shadow, with his tracking skill and clairvoyance, he can find and take down criminals."
"And why is that?" Tenya inquires curiously.
"He's an Apache." Raven said bluntly. "Of all the Native American tribes, the Apache are most renowned for their tracking skills. They say the Apache can track a man or animal through any condition by noticing the slightest disturbance in the environment."
Izuku, Momo, Tsuyu, Ochaco, and Tenya were shocked of Long Shadow's heritage, but turns back at the monitor screen when they saw Green Arrow, Long Shadow, and Bronze Tiger rushing after Kyoka, Koda, and Kinoko.
While at the forest, Kyoka, Koda, and Kinoko were hiding somewhere from the trees while waiting for Shihai to come back, which he's knocked out.
"What's taking Kuroiro so long? He should've been here with the information by now." Kyoka grumbled. "What's going on?"
Until, Batwing dropped a number of pellets down to the ground. The pellets began to bring out the smoke, making a smoke screen and spreading around the forest. Kyoka, Koda, and Kinoko now can see because of the smoke screen, but the Hearing Hero is using her earphone jack by plugging the ground to channel the sound of the heartbeat. However, Green Arrow fired his Sonic arrow to make a sonic scream, similar to Black Canary's scream, causing Kyoka's team to cover their ears. Green Arrow then fired his tranquilizer arrow at the back of her neck while Long Shadow fired his blow dart at Koda in the back of his neck, putting both Koda and Kyoka into sleep.
Bronze Tiger then came out of the smoke with a low growl, which scared Kinoko. Kinko is about to use her Quirk, but Bronze Tiger uses his Chi and deliver a palm strike, sent her flying as she crashed against the tree.
"Night, night." Bronze Tiger said, using his chi on his two fingers, pressing against her forehead and puts her to sleep.
And with that, Jiro's team failed the exam.
"No way, they put them to sleep?!" Tenya exclaims in shock.
"Relax, it's only temporary. It's not like those tranquilizers or blow darts could kill them or anything." Red X told them. "Besides, they know what they're doing."
"Instead of killing, they knock them out." Starfire states.
The 8th match of Toru, Mezo, Juzo, and Itsuka VS Red Robin, Legacy, Heat Wave, and Jinx began. Itsuka's team were off to a rough start because of Jinx uses her power of 'bad luck', crumbling the pillars into rubble which got them to ran. Juzo uses his Quirk to soften the ground, which Jinx starts to sink.
"Ha! Guess you won't use your Quirk after all!" Juzo states with a smirk.
However, Jinx smirked as she uses her magic, conjuring up a whirlwind to flew herself up along with him. Jinx then delivers a swift kick to the face, sent him flying against the pillar, knocked him out as she lands on her feet.
"You were saying?" Jinx rhetorically asks.
Jinx has a slender appearance with pink horseshoe-shaped pink hair, curved outward at the tips, and sectioned off with metallic black bands near the top of her head and pink eyes with cat-like pupils. She wore a black leather suit with a violet corset and violet leather jacket over it that had two strips down the front, included the elbow high black leather fingerless gloves, and tall, heeled boots with violet piping on top of them.
Itsuka and Red Robin began clashing against each other while exchanging each other's attacks, blocking and counter. Itsuka swings her fist, but Red Robin blocks and delivers a punch to the stomach, making her cough the air out of her mouth. Red Robin then delivers a roundhouse kick, but Itsuka blocks it and counter by using a double palm strike to the sternum. Red Robin stumbled a bit as Itsuka enlarges her hand and about to deliver a punch. Red Robin jumps over her and then uses the 'Kata-ka-jime' technique while using a body-scissors to wrap her body around.
Itsuka began to cough the air, getting strangled while try to struggle which his hold is strong.
Both Mezo and Toru were watching the fight, seeing both Itsuka and Juzo are beaten by Jinx and Red Robin.
"Shoji! At this rate, we'll lose this fight and we'll fail the exam like the others!" Toru complains.
"I know, but we're outnumbered and outmatched." Shoji told her. "Even escaping this will be herculean task. We're at a huge disadvantage."
Then, the flames launch towards both Toru and Shoji which it got them quickly dodge the flame while try to head for the other pillar, but unfortunately, Toru was caught in a tripwire, ensnared the Stealth Hero as she was hanging upside down.
"You've got two choices: surrender or die? Your pick." The voice of Legacy said with a dark tone, revealed himself from the shadows with his Beretta Cheetah on his hand, aiming at Shoji.
Garrett Wilson has a muscular appearance with black military-style hair, and blue eyes. His suit resembles of Deathstroke. He carries a Claymore on his back, Desert Eagle from the back of his waist, two Beretta Cheetah's on his waist, a combat knife on the left side of his chest, and throwing knifes from both sides of his ribs.
Heat Wave then revealed himself, aiming his heat gun at Shoji from behind.
Mike Calhoun has a lean muscular appearance with a bald head, and blue eyes. His suit consists of a tan leather jacket with a black shirt underneath, tan cargo pants, brown leather gloves, a tactical utility belt system, tactical vest, black combat boots, and goggles. He carries a heat gun and heat canisters on his waist.
Jinx and Red Robin then joins them by surrounding Shoji as he raises his arms up in the air, showing them he surrendered.
And with that, Mezo's team failed the exam.
"I didn't expect for Legacy to lay a trap, even Jinx uses her Quirk!" Momo exclaims shockingly.
"Not Quirk, magic." Cyborg corrects her. "You see, Jinx is a sorceress. She can use magic and hexes to cause bad luck for her enemies. She used to take part of the H.A.E.Y.P. forces but left to join the Teen Titans."
"And like Deathstroke and Ravager, Legacy has military tactics under his belt. In other words, he thought ahead on using his tactics to take those guys on." Red X adds.
"And this Heat Wave uses his gun to blast fire to scare them off, while leading them into a trap." Izuku states.
Then they heard the alarm, meaning the match between Hanata, Mineta, Monoma, and Kosei VS Catwoman, Lady Nagant, Himiko, and Twice begins.
"Hey, Deku, is it your match up next?" Ochaco asks, turns to Izuku. "Shouldn't you be waiting in the exam area?"
"Oh, probably." Izuku nods. "But I want to make sure I see everyone else fight. It's definitely interesting to see how each team uses their Quirks and their own capabilities, but I also feel like I'm getting stronger watching them."
'If only you knew, kid.' Nightwing mentally thought.
But they noticed that Hanata's team is also up to a bad start when Twice duplicates himself and given Kosei a major beatdown by delivering a flurry of punches, knocking him out with a few bumps and bruises on his face. Lady Nagant uses her sniping skills to prevent Hanata's team for heading towards the exit.
Monoma swings his fist at Catwoman, but she dodges and delivers a spinning hook kick at the back of his head, then cracks her whip right in his ass, making him yelp in pain. Mineta then threw his grape balls at her, but Catwoman uses her reflex to dodge them as she cracks her whip in his body, then pulls him down to the ground.
Mineta groans in pain when Catwoman approaches him with a cat grin-like on her face.
"You know, I still didn't get a chance to do something for your perversion." Catwoman told him, then delivers a hark kick to Mineta's 'jewels'. "If you'd treat them with respect, you wouldn't go girl crazy in a first place."
Monoma then tries to attack her from behind, but Catwoman leaps in midair as she lands on the ground, then cracks her whip right in his ass, making him yelp in pain.
"You know some guys pay for that." Catwoman told him with a smirk.
Himiko delivers a dropkick in the stomach, making Hanata stumble a bit. She didn't let him give a moment to attack when she uses a low sweep, knocking him down to the ground. Then, she uses a rear naked choke move, strangling Hanata.
Twice ties Mineta with a rope, preventing him for escaping.
Catwoman throws her bolas right at Monoma in the legs, making him tumble down to the ground as she then punches him in the jaw, knocking him out.
And with that, Hanata's team failed the exam.
"Well, at least she did us a favor." Nightwing said.
"It's about someone scrambled his eggs, and I'm sorry it wasn't me." Red X adds with a chuckle.
However, both Izuku and Tenya's faces were pale, reminding themselves not to get on Catwoman's bad side.
"But still, that was a bit overkill, kicking him in the balls." Tsuyu comments. "Then again, Mineta deserves that."
Izuku then head toward the Practical Exam area to get ready for a fight against Batman, Robin, Red Hood, and Crimson Avenger when he saw Bakugo, Reiko, and Sen are waiting at the gates to get ready for the Final Exam.
