A scene then shows Ash, Goh, and all their Pokémon taking a group photo.
Another day in Paris was coming to an end, and at Le Grand Paris, Jagged Stone was performing a song on his guitar for Bob Roth and Penny Rolling.
Jagged Stone: [singing] Mah Miraculous!
While Penny seemed to enjoy it, Bob looked like he was bored!
Jagged: [gives his guitar to Penny; to Bob] So, what do you think of the first single of my next album? [places his hand on his shoulder] Can you feel it, Bob? Isn't it killer?
Bob: Not bad, Jagged, not bad. But if you really want to be making something killer, let's talk about [pulls out a CD] this duet with Mr. XY.
That made Jagged frown upon hearing that!
Jagged: No way. He's not a rocker, he's a baby! I bet he doesn't even [strokes his beard] shave yet.
Bob: Well, this "baby" just pushed you out of the number one sales spot.
Jagged: And? Doesn't make him a true musician like me. Penny thinks everything I'm doing's rock star material. She thinks I'm killer.
Bob: Penny might be your agent, but I'm your real boss. Listen. Bottom line is that Bob Roth Records cannot afford to be number two in sales! Or rep a number two rock star! Get real, Jagged! You're going to have to modernize your music. Change the way you look. Get a whole new style!
Jagged: You want to talk about real? I'm a genuine rock 'n' roller, Bob, not some pop star in diapers. I'm a real artist. Real talent! Even my hair is real. And that's what people love about me. [leans on Fang; to his crocodile] Isn't that right, Fang?
But Fang just laid there, panting and wagging his tail!
Jagged: Yeah. [turning back to Bob] And the artwork you came up with for my album is a waste of my time!
The artwork Bob created was far from Jagged Stone's liking!
Jagged: Seriously, Bob, what is this trash? It looks like a perfume ad!
Bob: [pointing a finger at Jagged's chest] And that's what people want these days!
Jagged: Well, I don't. My album covers are raw to the bone, exuding the smell of [wraps an arm around him] sweat and leather!
Bob: [pushes Jagged off him] You do know, don't you, that if your next album doesn't rate #1 on the charts, it'll be the last one you ever do with Bob Roth records.
Jagged: I'd rather put out nothing at all than sing some pathetic duet with a baby-faced nobody.
Penny: Bob, Jagged and I had an idea. Its concept is modern, but it also respects Jagged's own...rugged style.
Jagged: [takes off glasses and shows them to Bob] The schoolgirl who made these glasses has some real talent. She totally gets my style. She's going to design the cover of my new album.
Bob: A schoolgirl?
Penny: See? That's just it. She's the same age as the target audience. [holds out a piece of paper] Here's her address.
Bob: [folds his arms; growls]
However, one growl from Fang instantly made him change his mind.
Bob: [jumps away from Fang in alarm] Okay! [takes the piece of paper and begins to leave the room] But just think about that duet with Mr. XY.
Jagged: Find that girl, Bob! Oh, and tell my little buddy, Ash, I said "hi!" You know what? Better yet! Bring him over!
Bob: Whatever.
Another growl from Fang made him change his mind!
Bob: Alright, alright! I'll get the boy, too! [leaves]

Scene changes to Pikachu in an open field twirling Ash's hat on its tail and then putting on and smiling as Ash reads the title of the chapter!
Ash (voiceover): Chapter 20: Guitar Villain!
Narrator: Jagged Stone! The greatest rock star in all of Paris! I wonder what he plans to do with our heroes?
At the Tom Sabine Boulangerie Patisserie, Bob was speaking with Marinette and Ash in front of Marinette's parents.
Bob: So, are you interested?
Marinette: Uh...wait, wait, wait. Let me get this straight. You want...me to design the album cover for Jagged Stone?! My...all-time favorite singer?!
Ash: Now that sounds awesome!
Bob: That's right! Requested by Jagged Stone himself. [pulls out an XY album] I brought a few visuals so you can get a sense of what we're going for.
Ash: Huh?
Pikachu: PIKA?
Marinette: [looks at album design] This doesn't seem like Jagged Stone material. More like...a perfume ad!
Ash: Yeah! If you wanna talk perfume, try talking to Adrien's father, Gabriel Agreste! Besides, Jagged is more of a rock-'n'-roll kind of guy! I should know! I was his bodyguard back when we were assigned to help at Le Grand Paris!
Bob: I've heard! This is the direction of his new image. More modern, current!
Ash: More modern and current?
Pikachu: PIKA?
Marinette: ...really? Wow. I was thinking more along the lines of–
Bob: [interrupts Marinette] Don't think! This is what is selling these days.
Marinette: Uh...sure.
Ash: [confused] Um... How is she not supposed to think when she needs to think in order to picture the right image in her head?
Pikachu: [tilts its head in confusion] PIKA?
Popplio: [tilts her head in confusion] POP?
Bob: Well... Okay, good point. [to Marinette] And one last thing, Marinette. We're in a hurry! We need your proposal by the end of the day. You up to it?
Marinette looked at her parents, who nod reassuringly, then she looked at Ash and Pikachu!
Ash: [smiles determinedly] I say go for it, Marinette!
Pikachu: [agreeing] PIKA PIKACHU!
Popplio: [agreeing] POPPLIO!
Marinette: [smiles] Uh, yeah! Okay.
Bob: [begins to leave the bakery] See you later, then! [to Ash] And by the way, Jagged said he wanted you to come by!
Ash: Really? He wants to see me?
Pikachu: PIKA?
Bob: Yeah! Not sure why though!
Ash: Of course! I'd be glad to see Jagged!
Pikachu: PIKA!
Bob: Excellent!
And with that, the head of his own records left!
Tom: [to Marinette] My daughter, famous album cover designer. You're going to kill it! Marinette style. [high fives with her] Boo-yah!
Then, the two of them and Sabine shared a family hug! And Ash joined in too! In Marinette's room, the baker girl was drawing an album cover on her tablet while listening to XY's music, as Tikki, Ash and the Pokémon watched. However, the two Trainers couldn't stand XY's music! Neither could the Pokémon!
Ash: This garbage can't be real music! Koffing and the Toxics can play better than that bozo!
Pikachu: [agreeing; covering its ears] PIKACHU!
Popplio: [hiding under Marinette's blanket] POP!
Marinette: [covers her ears and stops the music] Oh, why does Jagged Stone want to change his style?
Ash: I don't think Jagged himself wants to change his style! I think it's that Bob Roth guy forcing Jagged to change his style!
Pikachu: PIKA?
Popplio: [pokes her head out of the blanket] POP?
Marinette: What makes you think that?
Ash: Just a hunch!
Marinette: Well, that's a pretty accurate hunch! XY's music is so cold and lifeless, repetitive, mundane, [holds up the CD] the total opposite of Jagged. And what I've just done here is...ugh...is so not my style either.
Tikki: So why are you doing it, then?
Ash: Yeah, why?
Marinette: Because that's what I was asked to do.
Ash: I know that's what you were asked to do! But what does your heart say? Does it want you to do what Bob Roth asked or do what you think is right for Jagged?
Pikachu: [agreeing] PIKACHU!
Tikki: I agree with Ash! Maybe you should follow your gut feeling. Do something that's really you!
Marinette: But you heard what Mr. Roth said! [imitates Bob] This is what's selling these days.
Ash: [snickers] [composes himself] Maybe for that XY character, but certainly not for Jagged!
Pikachu: [agreeing] PIKACHU!
Ash: And besides, I think you should go with your gut feeling, not get ideas from some weirdo wanting to change Jagged's style!
Marinette: I hear you, Ash, but I'm not sure I wanna imagine an angry Bob Roth!
Tikki: Yeah, but...Jagged Stone wanted you because of your style!
Ash: Yeah! Remember when you made him those sunglasses?
Marinette: Of course! How could I forget?
Ash: He liked them because they were your style fit for a true rocker! So, I think you should go with that very same style!
Pikachu: [agreeing] PIKA PIKACHU!
Tikki: I agree! [floats onto Ash's shoulder] You use very wise words, Ash!
Ash: What can I say? I can be full of wisdom when I tend to be!
Pikachu: [agreeing] PIKA PIKACHU!
Marinette: No denying that!
Ash: [smiles] So, whaddya say?
Marinette: Augh, the pressure! I can't deal!
Tikki: Marinette, superhero of France, defender of the innocent, fighter of all the rights, can't deal with the pressure?
Marinette: [chuckles]
Ash: Come on, Marinette! You got this!
Pikachu: [agreeing] PIKA PIKACHU!
Popplio: [agreeing] POP POP!
Marinette: Okay! [taps her pen while thinking] Augh. [turns XY's music back on and resumes drawing]
Ash: Hmmm. Oh. [pulls out his Rotom Phone] Rotom, look up any hit songs from Koffing and the Toxics?
Rotom Phone: Looking up hit songs from Koffing and the Toxics!
Tikki: What are you doing, Ash?
Popplio: POP?
Ash: I'm gonna help Marinette get that garbage out of her head and put something else in!
That was when one of the songs from Koffing and the Toxics started to play!
Ash: Oh yeah! Here we go!
Then, Pikachu turned off XY's music and Ash placed his Rotom Phone near Marinette!
Marinette: Huh?
Ash: Much better! Huh, Marinette?
Marinette started listening to the music and she was starting to like it! So much so that she was tapping her foot to the beat! Surprisingly, Tikki was starting to like it as well!
Tikki: Ooh. This sounds pretty good! What song group did you say this was again, Ash?
Ash: Koffing and the Toxics! They're a famous rock band from the Unova Region back in my world!
Marinette: Wow! I gotta admit! This pretty good! Just as good as Jagged's music!
Ash: I know!
Pikachu: [agreeing] PIKACHU!
Marinette: [gasps] This gives me an idea! [starts to draw]
Ash: [winks at Pikachu, Popplio, and Tikki]
Pikachu: [happy] PIKACHU!
Popplio: [happy] POP POP!
Soon, Marinette had finished her drawing for Jagged's album cover!
Later on, at Le Grand Paris, Marinette was presenting her design to Jagged Stone in front of Ash, Bob and Penny.
Jagged: [looking at the design] What happened to the raw, impulsive artistry that made this? [drops the design in disappointment]
Ash: Sorry, Jagged! I knew you wouldn't really like to overall design, but I thought you'd like the Koffing and the Toxics additions!
Marinette: Yeah, about that, Mr. Roth told me–
Bob: [interrupting Marinette, much to Ash's annoyance] Marinette's young, Jag! {Popplio: [pouts] POP!} She represents our target audience. She's come up with a modern concept that's exactly what you need.
Jagged: Doesn't it look a lot like the cover of that YZ guy? [as Ash nods in agreement] Marinette, don't listen to Bob. Could you do another one? You know, Jagged style?
Ash: Sure she can, Jagged! [to Marinette] Right, Marinette?
Marinette: [hesitantly] Yeah, sure! [as Bob puts a hand on her shoulder] But I don't know if–
Jagged: [holds Marinette's hands] You're my girl, Marinette. Remember: raw, impulsive artistry. [wraps an arm around Ash's shoulder] And Ash, buddy! You get my style, don't you?
Ash: Of course I do! Your style is a whole lot better than that XY character! "Modern music" he says! What a bunch of hooey!
Bob: Wha?! Hooey?!
Jagged: [laughs] Nice! [wipes a tear] Oh, that's a good one!
Ash: Actually, Marinette can do way better than just your style alone, Jagged! She can do a Jagged style with a touch of Koffing and the Toxics style too!
Pikachu: [agreeing] PIKA PIKACHU!
Jagged: What's Koffing and the Toxics?
Ash: A famous rock band from the Unova Region back in my world! Their band leader is the Virbank City Poison-type Gym Leader, Roxie!
Pikachu: PIKA PIKA!
Jagged: Really now?
Ash: Uh-huh! And I happen to be a good friend of hers ever since I battled her for the Toxic Badge! If you want, since I have another friend who's back in my world, I can have him send a message to Roxie to have her call me so the three of us can establish on a collaboration on a new rock-'n'-roll sound!
Pikachu: [agreeing] PIKA PI! PIKACHU!
Marinette: Really?! Wow!
Jagged: Really?! You'd do that?!
Ash: Of course! That's what friends are for! In fact... [pulls out his Rotom Phone] Rotom, call Goh!
Rotom Phone: Calling Goh!
Meanwhile, in the Pokémon World at the Cerise Institute, Goh was helping to feed his Pokémon!
Darmanitan: [eating] DARMANITAN!
Goh: Raichu, bring this to Drizzile, okay?
Raichu: [nods; smiles] RAI RAI!
And off Raichu went!
Goh's Rotom Phone: You have a call from Ash! You have a call from Ash!
Goh: [gasps] Ash is calling!
Then, he answered his Rotom Phone!
Goh: Hey, Ash! What's up?
Ash: [as the screen splits to Ash calling in Paris] Hey, Goh! Do you remember the couple of times we went to the Unova Region together?
Goh: Of course! How could I forget all those amazing times?
Ash: Well, would you mind doing a favor for me that involves going to the Unova Region?
Goh: Sure! What is it?
Ash: Do you remember me telling you about the time I was the bodyguard for the famous rock-'n'-roll star in Paris, Jagged Stone?
Goh: Yeah! That sounded incredible!
Ash: Well, this favor involves him and another rock star that lives in the Unova Region! I need you to go there and head for Virbank City! There, I need you to find the Virbank City Gym and find an old friend of mine who happens to be the Virbank City Gym Leader! Her name is Roxie and she specializes in Poison-types! When you find her, I need you to pass on a message to her about an ideal opportunity for a collaboration on a new rock-'n'-roll sound for both Jagged and Roxie's band, "Koffing and the Toxics"! I'll text it to you!
Pikachu: PIKA PIKA!
Then, Ash texted the message for Goh to pass on to Roxie!
Goh: I got it!
Ash: Awesome! Now, just give her the message have her call me when she's not busy with her gym! Okay?
Goh: Sure thing, Ash! You can count on me!
Ash: Awesome! I'll be waiting!
Pikachu: PIKA PIKACHU!
Goh: Will do, Ash! Talk to you later! [hangs up] Well, looks like I'm off to Virbank City in the Unova Region!
Grookey: GROOKEY KEY!
Cinderace: CINDERACE!
Back in Paris...
Ash: Okay! As soon as I hear back from Goh and I hear from Roxie, your rock-'n'-roll biz will make more dough than you can make a pizza with!
Pikachu: PIKA PIKA!
Jagged: Awesome! Can't wait!
But Bob Roth was very annoyed on the matter!
Bob: Look, kid! I know you're trying to help, but what you're doing isn't going to promote Jagged's brand!
Ash: [annoyed] Oh, and what you're planning is?! What you're trying to do is make Jagged look like he's a joke! But when everyone sees that Jagged Stone and Koffing and the Toxics had collaborated on a whole new rock-'n'-roll sound, not only will his popularity will rocket skyhigh and his albums will clear out faster than they can stock on the shelves, but Koffing and the Toxics will also be famous not only in Unova, but also in Paris too!
Pikachu: [agreeing] PIKACHU!
Bob: Listen here, you little-
Jagged: [places a hand on Ash's shoulder] I think we're all done here, Bob.
Bob: No! We are not!
Fang growled angrily, causing Bob to draw back in fear.
Ash: [snickers] Big ol' fraidy cat!
Pikachu: [snickers] PIKACHU!
Popplio: [giggles] POP POP.
Penny: [leading Marinette away] Come with me, Marinette. Don't worry! Just do your best, okay?
Ash: [smiles and gives Marinette a thumbs up]
Marinette: [nods]
Popplio: [playfully pulling on Marinette's shirt with her mouth] POP POP!
Marinette: [giggles] Okay, Popplio! That's enough now! [holding her baby] Come on! You can help Mama with Jagged's new album cover!
Popplio: [happy] POPPLIO!
Bob: We aren't– [as Fang growls again, much to his chagrin] Aah!
Ash: [giggles; rubs Fang's head] Atta boy, Fang!
Fang: [pants playfully; licks Ash]
Ash: [giggles]
Pikachu: [smiles] PIKACHU!
Ash: [to Jagged Stone] I'm gonna go help Marinette with your new and much more rock-'n'-roll album cover, Jagged! You good with that?
Jagged: No problem, bud! And I can't wait to meet your friend, Roxie!
Ash: Oh, don't worry, Jagged! You'll love her! She has the exact same taste for rock-'n'-roll as you do!
Jagged: [makes a rock pose] Rockin'!
Ash: Yeah!
And with that, Ash left! However, Bob Roth wasn't too happy about his idea!
Bob: [growls angrily]
Later on, Jagged was watching Nadja Chamack interview XY on his tablet!
XY: [in interview] Why am I number one? Simple. It's not about music, it's about technology. This computer is programmed to produce music and lyrics people will like. It's guaranteed success. [takes a sip from his drink]
Jagged: [puts his hand on his face, growls in annoyance and glares at his tablet]
Nadja: [in interview] You knocked Jagged Stone off the #1 spot. What do you think of him?
XY: [throws drink aside] Bleah! Jagged Stone, the hero of rock 'n' roll? Try "Ragged Stone." That guy's old school, a has-been. His guitar solo is so ten minutes ago.
Jagged: [enraged] Me? Old-school? A has-been?!
XY: He's had his career, but it's over now. He'll never be number one, not while XY is here.
Jagged: [furious] Why, you little perfume ad!
XY: My music is killer.
Jagged: [frustrated] He's stealing my catchphrases!
Nadja: Tonight, Mr. XY will be giving a very special one-time concert from the top of the Eiffel Tower, to celebrate his album's success, and thank his awesome fans.
The screen shows a crowd of XY's fans cheering for him. XY stood in front of his bodyguards.
Nadja: Speaking of bodyguards, what do you think of his temporary bodyguard and one of the three heroes of Paris, Ash Ketchum?
XY laughed when she asked that question!
XY: That little kid?! Please! He wouldn't know good music if it hit him in the face! And he thinks he's a hero! Yeah, right! He's nothing but a wimp with no taste in good music!
Jagged: [gasps in anger and shock] Oh no he didn't!
XY: Hey Ragged, if you wanna know what today's music sounds like, come to my concert. [as Jagged claws the tablet in fury] I'll reserve you a front-row seat, old man, you know—in case your hearing's going.
Jagged: [infuriated] He can't talk about me like that! This guy's an insult to rock...and me!
Jagged breaks the glass on the tablet in fury, destroying it. He tossed it to Fang who ate it whole before going to sleep. Jagged began to angrily play his guitar. At Hawk Moth's lair, his window opened up, sensing Jagged Stone's frustration.
Hawk Moth: I feel a disharmonious soul, an angry discord. Ideal prey for my evil Akumas. [turns a butterfly into an Akuma] [to Team Rocket] Is the Rocket Prize Master ready?
Team Rocket: Ready and fully operational, sir!
Hawk Moth: Now, Rocket Prize Master! Give me a mighty beast that can soar through the skies and breathe fire!
Then, with a crank and twist, out came a Team Rocket PokéBall!
Rocket Prize Master: [robotic voice] You have received the Dragon Pokémon, Salamence!
Hawk Moth: [takes the PokéBall] Ah, perfect. [shrinks it]
Then, he released the Akuma with the PokéBall!
Hawk Moth: Go find that Jagged Stone, and rock his world!
Then, the Akuma flew off into the city, carrying the PokéBall with it! Back at Le Grand Paris, Jagged was still angrily playing his guitar. That was when the Akuma came in! Fang tried to bite it, but it passed by and entered Jagged's guitar and a light mask appeared on his face!
Hawk Moth: Guitar Villain, I am Hawk Moth. I'm giving you and your vicious crocodile the power to show the whole world that you are the number one rocker! Just make sure you get me Ladybug and Cat Noir's Miraculous in return.
Jagged: Yeah! Let's rock! [begins to transform]
Fang began to transform as well!
Hawk Moth: In addition to your powers, thanks to my loyal followers, you'll be given your own personal Pokémon to assist you in your mission!
Then, the PokéBall opened and revealed...
Hawk Moth: I give you, the Dragon Pokémon, Salamence!
Salamence: RWAR!
Ash and Marinette were walking out of the hotel while looking at the cover of XY's album.
Ash: Modern music! Phooey!
Pikachu: [agreeing] PIKACHU!
Marinette: I know, right?
Ash: That XY character definitely has no taste in good music! Heck, Popplio didn't like it at all! She was hiding under the covers of your bed!
Marinette: Oh, [rubs Popplio on the head] my poor baby girl.
Popplio: POP.
Ash: But never fear! Once Jagged and Roxie agree on collaborating on a completely new rock-'n'-roll sound, he'll be back in the game and that Bob Roth can eat his heart out!
Pikachu: [agreeing] PIKA PIKACHU!
Marinette: Let's hope so! But what kind of collaboration would they do?
Ash: Uh... rock-'n'-roll?
Marinette: No! I mean what kind of collaboration name would their group be?
Ash: Hmm... Oh, I know! Jagged Koffing and the Toxic Stones!
Marinette: Ooh. Now that sounds catchy! Kinda has a nice ring to it!
Ash: Thanks!
Pikachu: PIKA!
Ash: I just hope Jagged and Roxie will approve once they seal the deal!
Marinette: Ash, I'm sure they will!
Ash: You think so?
Marinette: Sure do!
Popplio: POP POP!
Ash: Thanks, Marinette!
When they arrived outside, Adrien was getting out of the car driven by his bodyguard!
Adrien: Hey, Marinette! Ash! Hey, hi!
Ash: Oh! Hey, Adrien!
Pikachu: [greeting] PIKACHU!
Marinette: Hey! [puts the CD away] Oh, uh… what's going on? I mean, how's up? I mean, oh, uh… [slaps herself in the face]
Ash: What she means is, what brings you here to Le Grand Paris hotel?
Pikachu: PIKA?
Adrien: Well, uh…
That was when a certain girl Ash hated came out!
Chloé: [runs out hotel doors, pushes Marinette aside, and hugs Adrien] Hi, Adrikins! There you are. Amazing Chloé has got a surprise for you! She knows you're a fan of Jagged Stone's.
Adrien: Uh, I am!
Ash: He is?
Pikachu: PIKA?
Chloé: Sooo, you get a private meeting with your favorite star.
Ash: Huh? Says who?
Chloé: I do, obviously! He's staying right here in Daddy's hotel! [leads Adrien inside while hugging his arm] Is Chloé the best, or is Chloé the best?
Ash: [whispers to Marinette] More like the absolute worst.
Pikachu: [agreeing] PIKACHU.
Marinette: [to Tikki] Did you hear that?
Tikki: Chloé speaking in the third person? Totally annoying!
Ash: You took the words right out of my mouth, Tikki! The brattiest of snobs!
Tikki: Mmhmm!
Marinette: No! The part where Adrien likes Jagged just like me!
Ash: What are you saying?
Pikachu: PIKA?
Marinette: I'm saying now I definitely can't mess up the artwork.
Tikki: So, now what?
Popplio: POP?
Marinette: I'm going to design Jagged Stone's next album my way, and no one else's.
Ash: [smiles] That's the spirit, Marinette!
Pikachu: PIKA!
Popplio: [happily claps] POP POP POP POP!
Tikki: Way to go, Marinette! Follow your instincts!
Adrien's bodyguard: Hmm?
Marinette: [closes her purse] Uh, talking bag! New technology! Imported from Japan!
Adrien's bodyguard: Hmm?
Marinette: (closes purse) Uh, talking bag! New technology! Imported from Japan!
Ash: Nice save.
Pikachu: PIKA!
Ash: [heading into the hotel] Since you seem to have everything under control now, I'm gonna go hang out with Jagged! You cool with that, Marinette?
Marinette: Sure!
Ash: Awesome! Call me if you need anything!
Marinette: Okay!
And Ash went back into the hotel! Inside, Chloé and Adrien are waiting for the elevator..
Chloé: You and I both like the same kind of music. Isn't that awesome?
Adrien: I… thought you liked Mr. XY.
Chloé: Of course I do! Don't you?
Adrien: Not really, no.
Chloé: Uh… well, neither do I. See? We have the same great taste!
Ash: [coming up behind them] Well, I hope your taste buds can handle a rock-'n'-roll collaboration sound! Because pretty soon, my old friend, Roxie, from my world, and Jagged are gonna partner up and collaborate on a new rock-'n'-roll sound! I call it... "Jagged Koffing and the Toxic Stones"!

Ash: Sure we do! Besides, Jagged didn't want to do a duet with XY in the first place! Plus, you even admitted you didn't like XY just now! [smirks] Riiiiiiight?
Chloé: So what if I did, nosy pants?! That doesn't mean you jump into our conversation!
Ash: [giggles mischievously]
Adrien: If you don't mind me asking, Ash, how exactly would your friend even help with this collaboration? She's back in your world!
Ash: I wouldn't worry too much about it! I've got my good friend, Goh, on the job with a special message delivery!
Pikachu: [agreeing] PIKA PIKA!
Adrien: Oh, I see!
Rotom Phone: You have a call from Goh! You have a call from Goh!
Ash: Oh! Speaking of him! [answers his Rotom Phone] Hey, Goh!
Goh: [as the screen splits in two with Goh calling in Virbank City] Hey, Ash! I'm in Virbank City right now, but I'm having trouble finding the Virbank Gym! You wouldn't happen to remember where the Gym is, would you?
Grookey: GROOKEY KEY?
Ash: Don't worry! I'll send you the location coordinates! [texts the location coordinates to Goh]
Goh: Okay! I got them!
Ash: Just follow those coordinates and it should take you to the Virbank Gym in no time!
Pikachu: PIKA PIKA!
Goh: [as the screen changes to Virbank City] Okay, Ash! Thanks! Talk to you later!
Ash (over the phone): Okay! Later, Goh!
Goh: [hangs up; pulls up the coordinates] Now, according to this, I should continue [walks for a while] until I reach a section of sidewalk where I'll find the Virbank Gym on my left hand side!
Grookey: GROOKEY KEY?
Goh: Sounds simple enough!
Soon enough, Goh has arrived at the Gym, which was a simple door!
Goh: Huh? It says here this is it, but this is just a simple door! [goes in; sees stairs] Huh? Stairs? An underground gym?
Grookey: GROOKEY?
He went down and came upon another door!
Goh: Well, here goes nothing! [opens it]
When he opened the door, he saw a battle going on! Or rather, it was already finished!
Referee: And Krookodile is unable to battle, Garbodor is the winner! Which means the match goes to Roxie!
Then, music started playing and Goh could see the Gym Leader, Roxie!
Goh: That must be her.
Grookey: GROOKEY.
Goh: Ash wasn't kidding. Roxie is good at rock-'n'-roll!
The trainer with the Krookodile returned his Pokémon and left with his head hung low in defeat as he left to rush to the Pokémon Center!
Goh: Huh?
Roxie: Yo! [as Goh looks her way] Next challenger! [points to Goh] That you?
Goh: Who? Me?
Roxie: Duh! Who else would I mean? You are here to challenge my gym, aren't cha?
Goh: Uh, unfortunately, no! My name's Goh! I'm from Vermillion City in Kanto! I came to bring a message to Roxie, the Virbank Gym Leader, from my friend, Ash!
Roxie: [gasps] Hold on, you're saying you're friends with Ash Ketchum?! He's the one Pokémon Trainer that actually managed to beat me!
Goh: Yeah! [comes down to face Roxie] He asked me to come here so I can deliver a message to you!
Roxie: Wait, you mean he ain't with you?
Goh: Unfortunately, no! It's complicated! Nobody here would believe me if I told you where he really was!
Roxie: Well, I'm willing to hear where he is! [to her fans] How about you guys?!
[fans cheering]
Goh: Well, when you put it that way, I guess I can tell you! You see, Ash is in another world and in a city known as Paris, France! And he's made some new friends there! And there, there's this rock star called Jagged Stone and... Well, [shows the message from Ash on his Rotom Phone] maybe it's best if you read this!
Then, Roxie began to read!
Ash (voiceover): Dear, Roxie! How've you been? It's been awhile since I last saw you! But anyway, I have a favor I wanted to ask of you! There's this famous rock star in Paris known as Jagged Stone and his producer, Bob Roth, wants to make him do a duet with a guy named XY, whose music is nothing but garbage! So, I was thinking, to save Jagged's career, you and your band Koffing and the Toxics can collaborate with Jagged on a completely new rock-'n'-roll sound! If you find the time when you're not busy with your gym, please give me a call whenever you're free! Thank you in advance! Your friend, Ash!
Roxie: Ah, a rock-'n'-roll collaboration sound, huh? Well, I think we can do that! [to her fans] What do you guys think?
[fans cheering loudly]
Goh: That's awesome!
Roxie: Yeah! I still got a few more hours left until gym hours are up! Until then, wanna have a one-on-one battle while we wait?
Goh: Huh?! Me battle?!
Roxie: Sure! I wanna see if you can take me on in a battle! [to her fans] What do you guys think? Wanna see me Goh battle?
[fans cheering loudly]
Goh: Well... [smiles determined] Okay! Sure! I accept! [pulling out a PokéBall] And I'll be using... Cinderace, [tosses it into the air] go!
Cinderace: [appearing] CINDERACE!
Roxie: Wow! Check out that Pokémon! You said it was a Cinderace?
Goh: Yeah! My partner! And it was the first Pokémon I ever caught!
Cinderace: CINDER!
Roxie: Rock-'n'-roll! That's what I call a sweet Pokémon! [pulling out a PokéBall] And I'll be using... Garbodor, [tosses it] bang zoom!
Garbodor: [appearing] BODOR!
Goh: Garbodor, huh? Alright then! Ready, Cinderace?
Cinderace: [affirmative; determined] DERACE!
Back in Paris...
Ash: Everything should be set!
Pikachu: PIKACHU!
Adrien: Cool!
Ash: Yep!
Adrien: Do you think I could meet Roxie as well later on?
Ash: Sure, Adrien! As long as that's okay with your dad!
Pikachu: PIKA!
Adrien: Okay!
Ash: Awesome!
Pikachu: [sees Bob Roth] PI? [gets Ash's attention] PIKA PI! CHU!
Ash: Hm? What is it, buddy?
Pikachu: [points to Bob Roth] PIKACHU!
Ash: [sees him] Oh great. Him.
Off to the side, Bob was having an interview about his plan for Jagged Stone and XY.
Bob: A duet with Mr. XY would show everyone that Jagged Stone—
Rotom Phone: [alarm sounding] Akuma Alert! Akuma Alert!
Ash: [gasps] An Akuma Alert!
Pikachu: PIKA!
Adrien: Uh oh!
Chloé: Oh no!
A roar from Fang had been let out, who is revealed to have been transformed into a dragon!
Guitar Villain: From now on, you can call him Guitar Villain. He'll never do a duet with Mr. XY! In fact, soon, there won't even be a Mr. XY! Rockin' Riff, baby! [fires purple energy from his guitar at Bob and the interviewer]
Then, they started to dance!
Ash: Are they… dancing?!
Pikachu: PIKA?
Ash: [pulls out his Rotom Phone] Rotom, identify!
Rotom Phone: Guitar Villain! When he plays different chords on his guitar, he can release powerful sound wave attacks and force people to dance. He has a pet dragon at his side that can fly and breathe green fire. Real name: Jagged Stone!
Ash: Oh no! Hawk Moth made Jagged his next victim!
Pikachu: [worried] PIKACHU!
Guitar Villain: Soon, there'll be nothing but Guitar Villain fans, the one and only rocker on Earth.
Hawk Moth: [from his lair] Such symphony to my ears. It won't be long before Ladybug and Cat Noir show up to meet their doom!
Jessie: And it won't be long until the twerp and Pikachu meet their doom too!
Chloé: [hiding behind Adrien] Hurry, Adrien, get me out of here!
Adrien put Chloé in the elevator and the doors closed between them. Ash and Adrien ran towards Guitar Villain and hid behind a flowerpot.
Guitar Villain: [leaves the hotel with his dragon by his side] Yeah! Guitar Villain! Wooh!
Ash: Oh, this is bad! Roxie will be calling later today! I can't let her see Jagged as a supervillain! What'll we do?!
Pikachu: [saying they have to save Jagged Stone] PIKA PI! PIKA PIKA PIKACHU!
Ash: You're right, buddy! We've gotta save Jagged! And I bet the Akuma is hiding in Jagged's guitar! We get the guitar, we release the Akuma and save Jagged!
Pikachu: [agreeing] PIKA PIKACHU!
Ash: [to Adrien] Stay here, Adrien! You'll be safe here!
Adrien: Okay, Ash! [winks]
Ash went into his backpack and took out the Stone Plate!
Ash: Huh. Haven't used this one before! Let's try it out!
[Transformation Sequence]
Ash: Stone Plate, [places the Stone Plate on his chest] activate!
Then, his clothes gained a dark beige color scheme, a rock symbol appeared on the center of his cap, and he gained a set of shoulder armor made of stone! And once the transformation was complete, he posed as if he was activating a Rock-type Z-Move!
Adrien: [gasps in awe] Whoa!
Ash: Nice! Now, let's rock-'n'-roll!
Pikachu: [determined] PIKACHU!
As the duo headed out, Adrien stayed behind and smirked!
Adrien: You're gonna need some help, buddy.
[Transformation Sequence]
Adrien: Plagg, claws out!
Then, Adrien transformed into Cat Noir! Fang flew out of the hotel past the doorman and Guitar Villain followed behind him.
Guitar Villain: Rockin' Riff, baby!
Guitar Villain shot the doorman with purple energy, causing him to start dancing, and proceeds to do the same with several cars, pigeons, and people, including Xavier Ramier.
Guitar Villain: Rockin' Riff, baby!
Cat Noir: [standing on Fontaine du Palmier] Hey, Jagged! C'mon! Why don't you try to rock my world?
Guitar Villain: The name's Guitar Villain, pussycat. Awesome Solo!
Guitar Villain fired orange energy at Cat Noir, who jumped off the fountain as the energy knocked it down.
Ash: Nice shot, Jagged! But you missed by a mile!
Pikachu: [cheeks sparking wildly] PIKACHU!
Hawk Moth: [through the light mask] There's the boy! Get him, Guitar Villain! I want that boy!
Guitar Villain: Sorry, kiddo! It's nothing personal! [fires purple energy from his guitar at Ash] Rockin' Riff!
Ash: Stone Edge shield!
That was when three large rocky pillars formed up and blocked the attack, protecting Ash!
Guitar Villain: [gasps]
Cat Noir: Whoa!
Ash: [smirks] How d'ya like them apples?
Pikachu: PIKA!
Guitar Villain: [growls]
Ash: Cat Noir, the Akuma is in his guitar!
Pikachu: PIKA PIKA!
Cat Noir: Got it!
Guitar Villain: You won't be getting anything! And now, [pulling out a Team Rocket PokéBall] coming onto the stage is my stagehand, [tosses it] Salamence!
Salamence: [appearing] RWAR!
Ash: [gasps] A Salamence?!
Pikachu: PIKA?!
Cat Noir: Salamence?
Ash: [pulls out his Rotom Phone] Look!
Rotom Phone: Salamence, the Dragon Pokémon. A Dragon-type. It flies around on its wings, which have grown in at last. In its happiness, it gushes hot flames, burning up the fields it passes over.
Cat Noir: Whoa! That's hot stuff!
Ash: No doubt he received it from Team Rocket and their Rocket Prize Master!
Guitar Villain: [playing his guitar; rock and roll voice] Flamethrower!
Salamence: [Flamethrower move] RWAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAR!
Ash: Quick, Pikachu! Use Thunderbolt!
Pikachu: [Thunderbolt move] PIKA...CHUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU!
That collided with the Flamethrower and exploded!
[explosion]
Ash: Looks like this is gonna be an air battle! [pulls out a PokéBall] In that case... Dragonite, I choose [tosses it] you!
Dragonite: [appearing] BRWAR!
Ash: Dragonite, use Dragon Claw!
Dragonite: [Dragon Claw move] BRWAR!
Salamence: [hit] RWAR!
Guitar Villain: Oh yeah?! [playing his guitar; rock and roll voice] Dragon Pulse!
Salamence: [Dragon Pulse move] RWAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAR!
Ash: Dodge it!
Dragonite: [dodges] BRWAR!
Ash: Now, use Hurricane!
Dragonite: [Hurricane move] BRRRRRRRRRRRRRWAR!
Salamence: [hit] RWAR!
Guitar Villain: [playing his guitar; rock and roll voice] Aerial Ace!
Salamence: [Aerial Ace move] RWAR!
Ash: Dodge with Dragon Dance!
Dragonite: [Dragon Dance move] BRWAR... [dodges] BRWAR!
Ash: Just face it, Jagged! My Dragonite is speedier than your Salamence!
Pikachu: [agreeing] PIKA PIKACHU!
Ash: Now, for the grand finale! Draco Meteor!
Dragonite: [Draco Meteor move] BRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRWAR!
Then, it started raining down glowing rocks!
Salamence: [gasps] RWAR! [hit; pained] RWAR!
Ash: Now, Dragonite, while it's weak! Use Dragon Claw! Send it crashing down!
Dragonite: [Dragon Claw move] BRWAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAR!
Salamence: [gasps] RWAR! [hit; pained; sent plummeting downward] RWAR!
[crashes]
Salamence: [knocked out; swirls in eyes] RWAR...
Ash: Ash one! Guitar Villain zero!
Cat Noir: Score one for the boys back home!
Guitar Villain: [returns Salamence] Alright! Not bad! But let's see you handle the real deal! Sick 'im, Fang!
Fang: [roars]
Dragonite: [determined] BRWAR!
The previous crocodile now transformed into a dragon breathed out a stream of green fire!
Ash: Dodge it, quick!
Dragonite: [dodges] BRWAR!
Ash: Use Hurricane!
Dragonite: [Hurricane move] BRRRRRRRRRRRRRWAR!
Fang: [roars in pain]
Ash: That's it, Dragonite! Keep it up! You're wearing him down!
Pikachu: PIKA PIKA!
But Fang wasn't gonna go down that easily!
Fang: [growls]
Ash: Careful, Dragonite! Fang might be stronger than Salamence was! Keep your guard up!
Dragonite: [nods] BRWAR!
While the two mighty dragons clashed, Cat Noir dodged more shots of energy fired from Guitar Villain's guitar. Fang flew overhead and breathed a cloud of green fire at Cat Noir, who was able to dodge.
Guitar Villain: Awesome Solo! [hits Cat Noir with orange energy and uses it to pin him against a wall]
Ash: Cat Noir!
Guitar Villain: Welcome to my fan club, baby!
Guitar Villain kept hitting Cat Noir with the orange energy and he fell down.
Ash: Cat Noir, no!
Cat Noir: [grunts] I'm okay!
Ash: [sighs in relief]
Guitar Villain: Awesome Solo! [fires orange energy from his guitar]
Ash: Stone Edge shield!
Pounding his fist into the ground, three large rocky pillars formed up and blocked the attack!
Guitar Villain: Hey now! Come out from behind there and fight like a man!
Ash: [smirks; to Cat Noir] Should I give the rock star what he wants, Cat Noir?
Cat Noir: Be my guest!
Ash began to form solid stone fists!
Ash: Let's see how you like my rock-'n'-roll!
Guitar Villain: Say what?!
Ash: Hah! [leaps up] [starts charging at a fast speed] Get a load of my [using Accelerock] ACCELEROCK!
Guitar Villain: Accele-what?! [hit in the face] GUH!
Ash: [punching him with his rock fists; grunts]
Cat Noir: Nice one! That's what I call a rock-solid plan!
Ash: [chuckles] Nice!
Guitar Villain: [strumming his guitar; firing orange energy] Awesome Solo!
Ash: [hit] GAH!
Cat Noir: Ash!
Pikachu: PIKA PI!
Guitar Villain: [strumming his guitar; firing purple energy] Rockin' Riff, baby!
Pikachu: [Thunderbolt move] PIKACHUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU!
Pikachu's Thunderbolt was able to cancel out the purple sound wave attack!
Ash: Thanks, Pikachu!
Pikachu: [winks] PIKACHU!
Ash: Now, use Electroweb!
Pikachu: [Electroweb move] PIKA...PIKA PIKA PIKA PIKA PIKA PIKA PIKA PIKA PIKA...CHU-PIKA!
That managed to snare Guitar Villain while giving him a shock!
Guitar Villain: [electrocuted yelling]
Ash: One Guitar Villain snared! Now for the guitar!
Pikachu: PIKA PIKA!
But as he advanced towards Guitar Villain, that was when Fang stopped him in his tracks!
Ash: [gasps]
Fang: [growls]
Ash: Come on, Fang! Don't you know who I am?! It's me, Ash!
Pikachu: PIKA PI! PIKACHU!
Fang: [growls; breathes out a stream of green fire]
Ash: [dodges] YIKE!
Guitar Villain was able to break free and fire off orange sound waves from his guitar!
Ash: [dodges] Yike again!
Marinette was walking back to the bakery while pondering about the design for Jagged Stone's album cover, but that's when she heard the commotion coming from the fight nearby!
Marinette: [overhears the fight a block behind her and turns to see Fang flying and breathing fire] Do you see what I see, Tikki?
Tikki: If you see a dragon, then yes I do.
Marinette: I've got to transform! [hides behind a tree]
[Transformation Sequence]
Marinette: Tikki, spots on!
Then, Marinette transformed into Ladybug!
Cat Noir was hit by a car thrown by one of Guitar Villain's blasts, and Fang attacked him by breathing fire. Ladybug jumped in and blocked Fang's attack with her yo-yo.
Ash: Ladybug! Perfect timing!
Pikachu: PIKA!
Dragonite: BRWAR!
Ladybug: Cat Noir, you okay?
Cat Noir: Good to see you, my lady.
Ash: Ladybug, the Akuma is in Jagged's guitar! We get the guitar, free the Akuma and save Jagged!
Pikachu: PIKA PIKA PIKACHU!
Ladybug: Got it!
Fang was circling overhead, preparing to attack again.
Ash: He's coming back around!
Ladybug: Cat Noir, your stick!
Ladybug wrapped her yo-yo around Cat Noir's left leg and threw him towards the dragon.
Ash: Ladybug, what are ya doing?! Fang's gonna eat him at his size!
Ladybug: Just watch!
Cat Noir extended the stick in Fang's mouth, pinning it open.
Ash: Oh. Never mind.
Pikachu: PIKA.
Ladybug: Told you!
However, Cat Noir fell off and Fang closed his mouth and the staff popped out. While falling, Cat Noir caught his staff but crashed into a traffic light.
Ash: [winces] Oh! That's gotta hurt!
Pikachu: [winces] PIKACHU.
Dragonite: [covers its eyes] BRWAR!
Guitar Villain: [standing on Fang's back] You're wasting my time. I've got a concert to get to! [flies off on Fang]
Ash: He's getting away!
Pikachu: PIKA PIKA!
Ash: We better follow him! No doubt he's heading for that XY concert! Even though I don't see why we should be saving that talentless singer!
Ladybug: [sternly] Ash!
Ash: What? He's the one trying to ruin Jagged's reputation in the first place!
Pikachu: PIKA!
Ladybug: But what did we say?
Ash: We protect everyone! Including stuck-up and egoistic jerks!
Ladybug: Exactly! Now, come on! We have to go! [uses her yo-yo to jump onto a roof as Cat Noir pole vaults using his staff]
Ash: Hey! Wait for me! [hops onto Dragonite] Let's go, Dragonite!
Pikachu: [hops on] PIKACHU!
Dragonite: [complies] BRWAR! [takes flight]
Guitar Villain was flying on Fang towards the Eiffel Tower!
Ladybug: His power comes from playing his guitar. We've got to keep him from performing.
Cat Noir: Well, I won't let you do this solo.
Ash: But how are we gonna get it from him? I already tried after having Pikachu snare him in an Electroweb and failed because of Fang!
Pikachu: PIKA PIKA!
Ladybug: We'll think of something!
Guitar Villain arrived at the top of the Eiffel Tower and jumped off of Fang. He approached what appeared to be XY practicing for his concert.
Guitar Villain: You're an insult to the music world, XY! [tries to punch XY only to discover that XY is a hologram] An hologram?!
Guitar Villain looked over to see Théo Barbot as the actual person playing the music. Théo grew terrified that he was spotted and tried to hide, but Guitar Villain grabbed him and held him up by the wrist.
Guitar Villain: Where's the real XY?
Théo: He's not here yet! The concert's not until tonight! I-I'm just setting up the special effects, dude!
Guitar Villain: [drops Théo] Awesome Solo! [shoots orange energy from his guitar to destroy the equipment] Where's Mr. XY? Answer me!
Théo: On TV! He's at the TV station!
Guitar Villain: Rockin' Riff, baby!
Then, Guitar Villain tried to shoot Théo with purple energy from his guitar, but Ladybug, Cat Noir, and Ash jumped over the side of the tower, and Ladybug pulled Théo out of the way at the last minute.
Ash: This ends now, Jagged!
Pikachu: [cheeks sparking wildly] PIKACHU!
Guitar Villain: You again?! To the TV studios, Fang! [jumps off the side of the tower and lands on Fang, flying away from the tower]
Ash: He's heading for the TVi studio!
Cat Noir: He's gonna get there before us!
Ladybug: [pulling out her yo-yo] And we better make sure he doesn't find what he's looking for.
Ash: But do we really have to? That XY guy is trying to ruin Jagged's reputation!
Ladybug: [sternly] Ash! What did we just go over?!
Ash: [sighs] We protect everyone! Including stuck-up and egoistic jerks!
Pikachu: [agreeing] PIKACHU!
Ladybug: Exactly!
Ash: But I still don't like that XY guy!
Pikachu: [agreeing] PIKA PI!
Ladybug: I know, [pats Ash on the head] Ash! And believe me, you're completely allowed to!
Ash: Yeah! So, what are you up to now?
Ladybug: [dialing on her yo-yo] You're about to find out!
At the TVi studio shooting studio, XY was being interviewed by Alec Cataldi, and Nadja Chamack had gotten a call from Ladybug.
Nadja: [talking on her phone] KidZ TV. How may I help you?
The cameraman rushed over to give Alec a warning.
Cameraman: [whispers] Ladybug says we're in danger.
Alec: Mr. XY...um, we have to leave the studio immediately!
XY: What the heck?
Alec: [whispers to XY] We just got a call from Ladybug. You're not safe here. [to the cameraman] Hit the credits!
["Who's That Pokémon?" time]
[as a magnifying glass shows a red wing with Pikachu standing with a PokéBall]
Ash: Who's that Pokémon?
[The Pokémon reveals to be Salamence]
Pikachu: PIKA?
Salamence: RWAR!
Pikachu: PIKA PIKA!

In the TVi studio lobby, Guitar Villain stepped inside the studio. The screen behind the receptionist was showing the recording room with the credits rolling.
Guitar Villain: [to the frightened receptionist] Where's that studio?!
Receptionist: On third floor! [ducks down in fear]
Guitar Villain grunted and walked toward the elevator and rode it to the third floor. He shot orange energy to burst the recording room's doors open, but the room was completely empty of people.
Guitar Villain: [grunts] Awesome solo! [shoots orange energy to destroy the set]
Meanwhile, Alec was escorting XY out of the building!
Alec: Everything's gonna be fine. I'm sure it's just a precaution.
That's when Ladybug, Cat Noir, and Ash showed up in front of them!
Ash: Relax, everyone! We're here!
Ladybug: We have to get you to safety.
XY: So what this Guitar Villain going to do? Blow me away with his evil guitar solo?
Ladybug and Cat Noir: Yeah!
Ash: That's exactly what he's gonna do! Maybe even worse!
Pikachu: [agreeing] PIKA PIKACHU!
Cat Noir: Once we catch Guitar Villain, we'll get you to the Eiffel Tower, just in time for your live performance.
XY: Pff! Who even cares? My roadies can just project my image on stage. Live concerts are so ten minutes ago.
Ash: [growls angrily] Why you little...
Pikachu: [growls; cheeks sparking] PIKA...
Ladybug: [sternly] Ash!
Ash: I'm sorry, Ladybug, but this has to be said! [to XY; angry] Listen here, XY! You're the one trying to ruin Jagged's reputation by having Bob Roth force you and him to do a duet when you clearly don't have any musical talent! And I have a hunch that you were responsible for his akumatization in the first place!
Pikachu: [angrily agreeing] PIKACHU!
XY: [glares] Are you accusing me?!
Ash: Maybe I am!
Pikachu: [angrily agreeing] PIKACHU!
Ash: What did you even say about Jagged to make him so angry?!
XY: [scoffs] What's it to you?! Why do you even care about that old-school has-been?!

XY: Please! You wouldn't know good music if it hit you in the face! And you call yourself a hero?! You're just a wimpy sidekick for Ladybug and Cat Noir!
Ash: [angry] What was that?!
Ladybug: [defending Ash] Hey! Ash may be a lot of things, but he's not a wimpy sidekick!
XY: Ha! Really?
Ladybug: He's the greatest partner we ever have! And the bestest friend too!
Cat Noir: I couldn't agree more, milady!
Ash: [smiles] Thanks, guys!
Pikachu: [smiles] PIKACHU!
Ladybug: That's what friends are for, Ash!
Cat Noir: [winks]
Then, the three hero friends shared a hug!
XY: Oh, give me a bre—
Suddenly, Fang swooped in and grabbed the musician!
Ash: YEOW! It's Guitar Villain!
Pikachu: [gasps] PIKA!
Guitar Villain laughed evilly as Fang carried both of them to the Eiffel Tower!
Ash: [to Ladybug and Cat Noir] I'm gonna go out on a limb and say this is a bad thing!
Ladybug: Ya think?!
At the Eiffel Tower, Fang put XY down as the latter cowered in fear.
Guitar Villain: Good job, Fang! [to XY] I found you at last, XY! Ready for the show?
XY: Dude, are you Ragged Stone?
Guitar Villain: Was Jagged Stone. Now I'm Guitar Villain! Ha ha, don't worry, you're not gonna become one of my fans. You don't deserve it. I've got something special in store for you. Something with a little rock 'n' roll! [grabs XY]
XY: NOOOO!
Pikachu: [coming in out of nowhere; Quick Attack move] PI PI PIKA PIKA!
Ash, Ladybug and Cat Noir were on the rooftops and heading over to the Eiffel Tower.
Cat Noir: Back to square one.
Ash: Tell me about it!
Ladybug: I get the feeling we'll in for quite a concert. You ready?
Cat Noir: To rockin' riff, baby!
Ash: I guess! But do we really have to save that XY stupidhead?
Ladybug: [sternly] Ash!
Ash: [sighs] Fine. I know when I'm outvoted anyway. And after how you guys defended me, how can I say no? But first, I think it's time for a little change up! [takes off the Stone Plate and turns back to normal]
Cat Noir: Aw, man! I liked having you rock-solid! And that stony armor! I kinda wanted that!
Ash: Next time, Cat Noir! I think it's time I use two new Plates in one day! [takes out the Draco Plate]
Ladybug: Two?
Ash: I gave the Stone Plate a try! [looks at the Draco Plate] But now let's see what the Draco Plate can do!
[Transformation Sequence]
Ash: Draco Plate, [places the Draco Plate on his chest] activate!
Then, his clothes gained a crimson color scheme, a dragon symbol appeared on the center of his cap, and he gained a set of dragon wings! His skin became slightly scaly, he grew a tail, and his teeth became a little more sharper! And once the transformation was complete, he posed as if he was activating a Dragon-type Z-Move!
Ladybug: Oh... My...
Cat Noir: Ash?! Is that you?!
Ash: [flashes a toothy grin] The one and only!
Ladybug: But you look all scaly and more toothy than usual! And... Is that a tail?!
Ash: [shows his tail] Sure is!
Ladybug: I have so many questions right now!
Cat Noir: I think you just turned into a half-human and half-dragon!
Ash: I know! This is awesome!
Pikachu: [awed] PIKA...
Dragonite: [awed] BRWAR...
Ash: Well, what are we waiting for? Let's go go to the rescue! [takes flight]
Pikachu: [jumps onto his back] PIKACHU!
Cat Noir: Hey! Wait up!
The two heroes leapt from rooftop to rooftop with Dragonite flying! Later that night, Fang was circling around the Eiffel Tower while Ladybug and Cat Noir were climbing up the tower, with Ash and Dragonite flying, while Guitar Villain's fans are all cheering in the crowd.
Guitar Villain: Hello Paris!
He leaped down to reveal that he had tie-up XY and was about to make him walk the plank on top of the Tower.
Guitar Villain: You said your music is the only killer music around? Is that right?
XY: [backs up] I-I d-didn't mean it! Listen, Mr., um, Guitar, w-we can...um...ah, do the duet your style! [almost reaches the end of the plank, causing him to scream]
Guitar Villain was riding on Fang's head, and he appeared behind XY and touched the plank, making the stuck-up musician bounce up and down. XY continued to quiver as Guitar Villain did an evil laugh.
Guitar Villain: Too late! [leaps back onto the plank right in front of XY] I'm going to show you what killer music really sounds like!
XY became mortified by the sound of that!
Ash: I'm not sure I'm liking the sound of that!
Guitar Villain: ULTIMATE SOLO!
Guitar Villain summoned green sound-waves from his guitar, causing everything around him to shake.
XY: [scared] Stop it! Please! [starts to bounce on the end of the plank as the result of the sound-waves]
Below, the crowd are all fell to the ground by the shake. Ladybug and Cat Noir immediately held onto themselves from the sound-waves.
But Ash and Dragonite weren't so lucky!
Ash: [as he and Dragonite were pushed back] WHOA! I can see why he calls it an ultimate solo!
Pikachu: [agreeing] PIKACHU!
Dragonite: [flaps its wings harder] BRWAR!
Ladybug: XY's going to fall!
Cat Noir: Talk about being between a rock and a hard place!
Cat Noir held onto Ladybug while she used her yo-yo as grappling hook to pull themselves up.
Ash: Hey! Wait for me!
Ash and Dragonite flew up after them! They gasped when Fang arrived and snapped the string, causing Ladybug and Cat Noir to fall. Cat Noir used his staff to prevent his fall, but Ladybug wasn't so lucky!
Ash: Ladybug! [catches her bridal style] Gotcha!
Ladybug: [sighs in relief] Thanks, Ash! I owe ya one!
Ash: [sees Fang flying back] Here comes the dragon!
Ladybug: [pulls out her yo-yo] I've got it!
Ladybug tossed her yo-yo to Fang's mouth, carrying herself to the sky.
Ash: Whoa! Ladybug, wait for me!
Then, Ash took off after her!
Ash: Oh, I hope she knows what she's doing!
Pikachu: [agreeing] PIKACHU!
Dragonite: [agreeing] BRWAR!
Ladybug: [on top of Fang's head] Easy, easy. Nice, dragon.
But then, Fang started being like a bucking bronco!
Ladybug: Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa! Enough, already! We have a stuck kitty to rescue!
Then, Fang flew to the direction of Cat Noir and saved him from falling, much to the latter's surprise. Fang circled around the Eiffel Tower.
Cat Noir: Huh, wow! The bug mastered the dragon!
Ash: No kidding! She's a natural!
Pikachu: PIKA!
Dragonite: BRWAR!
Ash: But that's not the only dragon we have to deal with! Hawk Moth's given Guitar Villain a Salamence from the Rocket Prize Master!
Pikachu: [agreeing] PIKACHU!
Cat Noir: Right!
Ladybug: What?! [groans; facepalms] Oh no, not another one.
Ash: Don't worry, Ladybug! Once we defeat Guitar Villain, we'll set Salamence free of the Team Rocket PokéBall!
Pikachu: [agreeing] PIKA PIKACHU!
Ash: But for now, we've gotta stop him!
Ladybug: Agreed!
Ladybug made Fang fly toward Guitar Villain and XY with Ash and Dragonite following.
Guitar Villain: [to XY] So how did you like the concert? You still think your music is the only killer music out there?
XY: No! Please, don't! [looks down to see that the plank is about to crack]
Guitar Villain: Awesome Solo!—
Ash: [interrupting him] Not so fast!
Guitar Villain: [looks to see Fang is charging toward him] My dragon! [leaps out of the way]
Ash: This madness ends now, Jagged!
Pikachu: [cheeks sparking wildly] PIKACHU!
XY: Ladybug, Cat Noir, hurry!
Ladybug then turned Fang around!
Cat Noir: Nice job.
Guitar Villain: [laughs evilly] You're too late! Nothing can stop Guitar Villain! Rockin' Riff, baby! [fires purple energy toward the trio]
Ladybug: We only rock the real Jagged Stone! [makes Fang dodge the purple energy] [to Ash] You said the Akuma was in his guitar, right?
Ash: Yeah! That's where he's getting his power! If we can destroy it, we'll be able to free Jagged from Hawk Moth's spell!
Cat Noir: How do we get to that?
Ladybug: Let's go backstage!
Ladybug continues to make Fang dodge the purple energy before making him go under the top platform of the Eiffel Tower, making his head get stuck!
Guitar Villain: [looks down] Where did they go?
Underneath, the trio are ready to climb back up.
Cat Noir: [to Ladybug] You okay?
Ladybug: [nods]
Ash: Sorry about this, Fang! Nothing personal!
Pikachu: [agreeing] PIKACHU!
As the trio continues to go up, Guitar Villain leaps in front of XY on the plank.
Guitar Villain: Too bad for them, they're going to miss the final song! [laughs evilly] SOLO! [summons green sound-waves again] Oh, are you scared? Or is it too awesome for you?
Then, Ash, Ladybug and Cat Noir landed in.
XY: Please, Mr. Guitar Villain!
Ash, Ladybug and Cat Noir manage to reach on top of the Eiffel Tower.
Ladybug: [uses her power; tosses her yo-yo into the air] Lucky Charm!
Ladybug's Lucky Charm power gave her a can of extreme hold hairspray.
Ash: Huh?
Pikachu: PIKA?
Ladybug: "Extreme Fixing Gel"?
Cat Noir: You're planning on doing his hair?
Ash: Hmm...
Then, Ash observed the situation as Guitar Villain continues to summons green sound-waves. Ash used his thinking vision to show Guitar Villain's hair. The aforementioned villain laughed evilly.
Ash: She just might! And I have a plan! Go get 'im, Cat Noir!
Cat Noir leapt up and headed towards Guitar Villain!
Ladybug: What's your plan, Ash?
Ash: Once his hair is in his face, you can use that extreme gel to stick it in place!
Ladybug: Oh, I get it! You're a genius, Ash!
Ash: Well, I had a good teacher when coming up with good ideas!
Pikachu: [agreeing] PIKACHU!
That made Ladybug tint a blush from that!
Ash: Now, let's see what the Draco Plate can really do! [soars into action]
Guitar Villain: Maybe you haven't heard it properly.
That's when he heard Ash and Cat Noir behind him and they began to fight!
Ash: Enough is enough, Jagged! Don't you remember that you wanted to do a new rock-'n'-roll collaboration sound with my friend?
Pikachu: PIKA PI! PIKA PIKA!
That made Guitar Villain stop to think about this!
Hawk Moth: [through the light mask] Don't listen to him! He's only trying to manipulate you! Seize the boy and bring him to me!
Guitar Villain: [fires purple energy from his guitar] Rockin' Riff, baby!
Ash: [dodges] I'm not the one manipulating Jagged, Hawk Moth! You are!
Pikachu: [agreeing] PIKACHU!
Ash: [extends his claws into green energy] Get a load of my DRAGON CLAWS!
Guitar Villain: [hit] GUH!
Ash: [as his tail glows] Now for a Breaking Swipe!
Guitar Villain: [hit] UGH! [tosses the Team Rocket PokéBall] Rock on, Salamence! Time to give them an encore!
Salamence: [appearing] RWAR!
Ash: Oh yeah?! Dragonite, time for round two with Salamence!
Dragonite: [determined] BRWAR!
Ash: First, let's give you a power boost! Use Dragon Dance!
Dragonite: [Dragon Dance move] BRWAR...
That boosted Dragonite's Attack power and Speed stat!
Ash: Now, use Dragon Claw!
Dragonite: [Dragon Claw move] BRRRRRRRWAR!
Salamence: [hit] RWAR!
Guitar Villain: [playing his guitar] Dragon Claw back!
Salamence: [Dragon Claw move] RWAR!
Ash: Dodge it!
Dragonite: [dodges] BRWAR!
Ash: Now, use Hurricane!
Dragonite: [Hurricane move] BRRRRRRRRRRWAR!
Salamence: [hit; blown back] RWAR!
XY: [feeling the wind] Careful, you dummy! You trying to knock me off?!
Ash: It wasn't trying to, you ungrateful punk!
Guitar Villain: [playing his guitar; rock and roll voice] Dragon Pulse!
Salamence: [Dragon Pulse move] RWAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAR!
Dragonite: [pained] BRWAR!
Ash: Dragonite, no! [growls] Use Draco Meteor!
Dragonite: [Draco Meteor move] BRWAR...AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAR!
Then, it started raining down purple glowing rocks!
Salamence: [hit] RWAR!
Ash: Now, let's finish it off! Time for a back-to-back double Dragon Claw!
Ash: [using Dragon Claw] HRAAAAAAAAAAAAH!
Salamence: [pained] RWAR!
Ash: Pikachu, Thunderbolt! Let's go!
Pikachu: [complying; leaping up into the air] PIKA! [Thunderbolt move] PIKA...CHUUUUUUUUUUUUU!
Salamence: [electrocuted] RWAR!
That was enough to knock Salamence out! Then, it went crashing towards the ground! Luckily, the crowd moved out of the way, just in time!
Salamence: [swirls in eyes; knocked out] RWAR...
Ash: One down, one to go!
Pikachu: PIKACHU!
While Guitar Villain was distracted, Ladybug climbed up above them!
Cat Noir: [uses his power] Cataclysm!
His claw glowed a black bubbly energy!
Guitar Villain: Awesome Solo! [fires orange energy towards Cat Noir and uses it to pin him against a wall]
Ash: Ladybug, now!
Then, Ladybug leaped down and sprayed the hairspray at Guitar Villain, which stiffens his hair in front of his face and preventing him from being able to play his guitar!
Guitar Villain: I can't see! Where are my fans?
Ash: Show's over, Guitar Villain!
Before Ash and Ladybug could break his guitar...
XY: [shouting] Hey, don't forget about me! Please, help! [as the plank under him breaks]
Ash: [gasps] Oh no!
Ladybug used her yo-yo to save XY and made him land on top of the guitar, breaking it.
Ash: Well, there's one thing you're good for, XY! You've got a hard butt!
Pikachu: [agreeing] PIKACHU!
XY: Hey!
Then, the Akuma flew out while the Team Rocket PokéBall fell out of Guitar Villain's pocket!
Ash: Do your thing, Ladybug!
Ladybug: [opens her yo-yo] Music's over, little Akuma! [spins it around] Time to de-evilize! [catches the Akuma] Rock-'n'-roll! [releases it as a purified butterfly] Bye bye, little butterfly! [tosses her Lucky Charm into the air] Miraculous Ladybug!
Thanks to the Miraculous Ladybug, everything was restored back to normal, including Fang being teleported back to the Le Grand Hotel. Then, Guitar Villain turned back into Jagged Stone!
Ash: [tosses the Team Rocket PokéBall to Cat Noir] Cat Noir, catch!
Cat Noir then caught the Team Rocket PokéBall in the hand he was using for his power, making it turn to dust and freeing Salamence!
Ladybug, Cat Noir, and Ash: [fist bump] Pound it!
Pikachu: [joining in] PIKA!
Dragonite: [joining in] BRWAR!
XY: [looking at Jagged Stone] What's he doing here?
Ash: [taking off the Draco Plate and turning back to normal] Wow! You really aren't that smart!
Ladybug: He came to tell you that perhaps you...um...underestimate the power of his music!
XY: [points at Jagged] This guy's crazy!
Jagged: Thank you.
Ash: The only crazy one around here is you, XY!
Pikachu: [agreeing] PIKA PIKACHU!
Ash: Try doing songs that don't stink!
Jagged Stone burst into hysterical laughter!
Jagged: [laughs] Oh, good one, Ash! Oh, what a riot! I can't breathe!
Ash: [giggles]
Pikachu: [giggles] PIKACHU!
XY: [snarls]
Cat Noir: [walks toward Jagged with a marker and an album] How about an autograph, Jagged?
Jagged wrote his name on the album, causing Cat Noir to chuckle in delight!
Ash: Anyway, come on, Jagged! Let's get you back to Le Grand Paris!
Jagged: [points at him] You've read my mind!
Ladybug: [eyes widen] Which reminds me, I still have work to do! Bug out! [swings away on her yo-yo]
Cat Noir and Jagged: Huh?
Ash: Eh.
Cat Noir: Wait! What about Salamence?
Turns out it was still knocked out down below!
Ash: Oh yeah! Cat Noir, you mind taking Jagged back to the hotel while I take care of Salamence?
Cat Noir: I've got you covered, buddy!
Ash: Thanks, Cat Noir!
Cat Noir grabbed Jagged and took off on his staff! At Hawk Moth's lair, the said villain and Team Rocket were not happy about another failure!
Hawk Moth: [grabbing his head in frustration] Dahhh!
Jessie: Another Pokémon lost!
James: That's not fair!
Meowth: Giovanni ain't gonna like this!
Hawk Moth: Don't do your victory dance just yet, because one day, I'll play you my favorite music: the anthem of your defeat, Ladybug and Cat Noir!
Jessie: And we'll be playing the melody of Team Rocket Universe!
Then, the window of Hawk Moth's lair closed!
Back with Ash...
Salamence: [groans] RWAR…
Ash: Hmmm. Why not take advantage of the opportunity and try to catch it! It'll probably make a mighty fine present for Juleka!
Pikachu: PIKA?
Ash: Yeah! Juleka likes fierce things! [pulls out an empty PokéBall] And Salamence is one of the definitions of fierce! I'm gonna catch it for her! Now, [tosses the PokéBall] go, PokéBall!
The PokéBall hit Salamence on the head and it got sucked it! However, after a few shakes, it ended up escaping the PokéBall!
Salamence: [appearing] RWAR!
Ash: Huh?!
Then, the Salamence flew away!
Ash: [disappointed] Aw, fiddlesticks! There goes Juleka's present!
Pikachu: [comforting] PIKA PIKACHU!
Ash: Thanks, buddy! But on the bright side, Salamence is now living free and in the wild!
Pikachu: [agreeing] PIKACHU!
Ash: Yeah! Come on! Let's go check on Jagged! [hops onto Dragonite; grunts]
Then, Dragonite took off for Le Grand Paris! Ash and Pikachu arrived in Jagged Stone's hotel room, where Adrien and Litten were waiting for him!
Ash: Oh, hey, Adrien! Litten! Glad to see you two are safe and sound!
Pikachu: [agreeing] PIKA PIKA!
Adrien: Thanks, Ash!

Ash: I hope you're excited about meeting Roxie via video chat! Because soon, Jagged Koffing and the Toxic Stones will be trending in both Paris and the Pokémon World!
Jagged: Rock 'n' roll!

Ash: And I take it you heard us talking about yours and Roxie's collaborative group name?

Ash: Well, I'm glad you approve, Jagged!
But then came trouble!
Bob Roth: Well, I certainly don't approve of it at all!
Ash: [growls]

Bob Roth: Collaboration indeed! Jagged doesn't need a collaboration! What he needs is the duet with XY!
Ash: [fed up] Now listen here, Roth! I mean what I say! And I mean every word! Jagged doesn't want to do a duet with that XY chowderhead! Nor will he ever will! Jagged will always be a rock-'n'-roll star now and forever! And with this collaborative rock-'n'-roll sound, Jagged will soon knock XY off the music throne and will be famous in not just Paris, but the Pokémon World too!
Pikachu: [angrily agreeing] PIKACHU
Jagged Stone smiled for how Ash was describing him!
Ash: And may I remind you it's XY's fault that Jagged was akumatized in the first place!

Ash: [gets an idea; smirks] You know, it would be a shame if Jagged didn't do this collaboration, Mr. Roth! Imagine how much this would pull off and the profits you'd partially earn!
This made Bob Roth think about this!

Ash: [winks at Jagged]
Jagged: [winks back; clicks his tongue]
Bob still didn't like Ash, but he can't say no to money!
Bob: Alright alright! But it better rocket sky-high and make money!
Ash: Oh, rest assured, it will! As long as you seal the deal!

Ash: Awesome! Now, we just gotta wait for Roxie to call so we can finalize the deal!

Adrien: But there's just one problem! How are they gonna perform for Paris if they're in a separate world?
Ash: Don't worry! Once there's some way to travel between universes, they'll be rocking the house! Until then, they're gonna have to do it through a video chat!
Jagged: Right! First thing tomorrow, we're gonna do our first rockin' combined song!
Roxie: And I got just the song! I'll send it to you tomorrow!
Jagged: Rock on!
Ash: And I'll call Nadja about this! This is gonna go down in history!
Pikachu: [agreeing] PIKACHU!
Roxie: Cool! I'll call some time tomorrow when I'm not busy with my gym!
Ash: Okay, Roxie!
Roxie: See ya later!
Ash: Okay, Roxie! Take care!
Then, Roxie hung up!
Ash: Well, now that it's official, rock-'n'-roll sounds will be trending faster than you can say buncha munchy crunchy carrots!
Pikachu: PIKA!
Ash: Anyway, I'm gonna head back to Marinette's! See you later, Jagged! See you at school, Adrien!
Jagged: Later, Ash!
As he started heading out, Ash started to dial Nadja's number!
Ash: Hello, Nadja? Have I got a major scoop for you for the news network!
Nadja: [answers her phone] Hello, Ash! Really?! What scoop?
Ash: Let's just say it's one that'll go down in music history!
Pikachu: [agreeing] PIKACHU!
The next day, in Marinette's room. Marinette is drawing her style of the album cover on her tablet while listening to Jagged Stone's guitar solo and Koffing and the Toxics' music!
Marinette: Done! [shows Tikki her design]
Tikki: Jagged Stone will love it!
Marinette: I hope so! It's one-hundred percent Marinette. It's my awesome solo!
Tikki: Rock 'n' roll! [chuckles] Oh! That reminds me! Do you think Ash was able to convince them about his collaboration idea?
Then, Marinette's phone began to ring and it was a call from Ash!
Marinette: That must be him now! [answers the phone] Hey, Ash! What's up?
Ash: [over the phone] Turn on your computer for the news!
Marinette became curious by this and began to type on her computer. Then, the news came on!
Nadja: I'm Nadja Chamack! Don't be bemused, it's just the news! I'm here with one of Paris' greatest heroes and the temporary bodyguard of rock-'n'-roll sensation, Jagged Stone! The one and only Ash Ketchum, who has personally informed me of something that's sure to go down in music history! A collaboration between Paris' Jagged Stone and the rock-'n'-roll band hailing from Ash's home in the Pokémon World that's known as Koffing and the Toxics! [to Ash] Tell us, Ash! How did you ever come up with such an intriguing idea such as this?
Marinette: [gasps] He's on the news?!
Ash: Well, Nadja, when I first heard of Jagged Stone, he reminded me of Koffing and the Toxics back when I travelled through the Unova Region! Then, I thought, why not do a super awesome collaboration with one of the greatest Pokémon rock bands and the greatest rock star in history!
Pikachu: [agreeing] PIKACHU!
Ash: That and I wanted to help Jagged by not only boosting his reputation, but also knocking his competition, that snooty XY guy, down a peg and off of the throne of musical awesomeness! Some thought, "There's no need for a collaboration here in Paris!" One in particular, Bob Roth, said it would be a flop! Some think I'm crazy, and sometimes I am! But all I care about is making everyone happy! Especially my best friend, Marinette Dupain-Cheng, who's making an awesome design for Jagged's album cover!
Pikachu: PIKA PIKACHU!
Marinette was surprised when he said that about her and she smiled!
Tikki: Wow! That Ash really is sweet! And he really does know how to make people happy! [teasing] You sure you wouldn't want to go after him instead Adrien, Marinette?
However, Marinette blushed when she said that!
Marinette: Tikki, I told you this already! Ash and I are just friends and nothing more! Besides, you know he's with Juleka!
Tikki: I know, but don't you find him irresistible like Juleka does?
Popplio: POP?
Marinette: Um... Well... I mean... [shakes her head] I can't, Tikki! I don't wanna hurt Juleka! Nor do I wanna hurt Adrien!
Popplio: [understanding] POPPLIO!
Tikki: I understand, Marinette! But if you ever change your mind, he's always an available option!
Marinette: [rubs her head with her finger] Thank you, Tikki! But Ash and Juleka were so meant for each other! [thinking of a chibi version of them hugging, running around, and kissing each other on the lips] They make such an adorable couple!
Tikki: True! True! Oh! Isn't it about that time you headed over to see Jagged with your new design?
Marinette: Oh! You're right! Thanks for reminding me! [holds her arms out] Come to mommy, Popplio!
Popplio: [happily jumps into her mother's arms] POP POP!
Marinette: [grabs her design] Come on! We gotta get this to Jagged! Hide, Tikki! [Tikki hides in Marinette's purse as the girl leaves]
Soon, at Le Grand Hotel. Marinette presents her second design to Jagged Stone in front of Bob and Penny.
Jagged: Oh, yeah. This is it! You did it, girl! I can almost smell the leather and sweat just radiating off this design!
Marinette: Uh...um, you actually are smelling it. I concocted a special scent sticker for your album.
Jagged: [completely satisfied with Marinette] I want it. I got to have it. It's authentic. It's original. It's... so Jagged. [hugs the design]
Popplio: POP?
Bob: No you can't! It's not what the public-
Jagged: [interrupts Bob] Fine, then I'm outta here! I'm sure another record company will be perfectly happy with the #2 chart topper.
Bob grunted in defeat. And when Marinette handed him her design, he snatched it and grunted again as he walked away.
Marinette: Oh! By the way, I heard that the that Ash's collaboration idea was approved!
Ash: [sneaking up behind Marinette] You got that right!
Pikachu: [agreeing] PIKACHU!
Marinette: [startled; jumps] Ah!
Ash: [giggles] Gotcha, Marinette! And the debut of the collaborative Jagged Koffing and the Toxic Stones is being hosted this evening! And Jagged personally gave me [pulls out 15 tickets] tickets for us and our friends to see their debut concert!
Marinette: [gasps excitedly] Really?!
Ash: Yeah! We gotta tell the others! Oh, they're gonna be so excited! [rushes out the door] Come on!
Marinette: Hey! [follows] Wait up!
Jagged: [calls after them] I'll be waiting at the concert for you guys!
When the two friends reached the elevator, they went in and the doors closed!
Marinette: Yee-haw! Tikki, I can't believe I just designed a cover for Jagged Stone's new album!
Tikki: I'm so proud of you, Marinette!
Marinette: [chuckles]
Ash: And now, we get to go to a debut concert of the collaborative group Jagged Koffing and the Toxic Stones!
Pikachu: [happy] PI PIKACHU!
Ash: Boy, won't the others be so excited!
Soon, Marinette had called Alya and told her to have everyone meet at the park! Even Chloé and Sabrina were there! And so was Adrien!
Ash: Now, I assume you guys are wondering why I had Marinette call you all here? Well, I have a big surprise for everyone! You all heard of my idea of a collaborative rock-'n'-roll sound between Jagged Stone and Koffing and the Toxics?
Pikachu: PIKACHU?
Nino: Oh yeah! We saw it on the news!
Kim: What about it?
Ash: Well, my idea got approved and the new collaborative rock-'n'-roll group is now called "Jagged Koffing and the Toxic Stones"!
Pikachu: [repeating Ash] PIKA PIKA PIKA PIKACHU!
Alya: [gasps] No way!
Ash: Way! And they're hosting their debut concert later this evening!
Pikachu: PIKA PIKACHU!
Alix: M'kay! But how are we suppose to get tickets?
Ivan: Yeah! We don't have that kind of money!
Ash: No need to worry! This is where [digs in his jeans pocket] the best part comes to play! [pulls out the 15 tickets] Ta-dah! 15 tickets to Jagged Koffing and the Toxic Stones debut concert!
Pikachu: PIKA PIKA!
They all became excited by this!
Rose: Wow! That's amazing!
Kim: How were you able to score these tickets?
Ash: Jagged Stone personally gave them to me! And I got one for everyone! Even Chloé!
Chloé was surprised by this! Even though she's been nothing but jerk to him and everyone else, he was being nice to him and was giving her concert tickets!
Ash: Still think my idea's lame, Chloé?
Chloé: Well... Uh...
Sabrina: Not at all, Ash!
Ash: Awesome!
Mylène: But how are they gonna perform together when they're in separate worlds?
Ash: Don't worry! Leave that [winks] to me!
Pikachu: [smiles] PIKACHU!
Later that evening, the students had arrived at the debut concert!
[crowd cheering]
Marinette: This is gonna be awesome!
Then, Jagged came up onto the stage!
Jagged: Hello, Paris!
[crowd cheering loudly]
Jagged: You ready to rock?!
[crowd cheering]
Ash: YEAH!
Pikachu: [excited] PIKACHU!
Jagged: That's what I'm talking about! And now, I'd like to introduce you to my rock-'n'-roll co-stars! All the way from Virbank City in the Unova Region in Ash's world! Here's Roxie and her band, Koffing and the Toxics!
Then, on the screen, the Virbank City Gym Leader and her band appeared!
Roxie: Yo! Waddup, Paris!
[crowd cheering]
Roxie: We'd like to welcome you to the debut concert of the newest band that'll rock your socks off! Give it up for our collaborative rock-'n'-roll sound...
Jagged and Roxie: Jagged Koffing and the Toxic Stones!
Koffing: [letting out smog] KOFFING!
And on cue, a smoke machine went off!
[crowd cheering]
Roxie: And now, here's a new rock-'n'-roll song from our world to yours! Let's do it!
Nicky: [while tapping his drumsticks four times] 1, 2, 3, 4!
[guitar music plays]
[Song: Pokémon! Gotta catch 'Em all!]
[Roxie]
I wanna be the very best
Like no one ever was,
To catch them is my real test
To train them is my cause,
[Jagged]

That was when Jagged took Ash by his hand and pulled him up onto the stage to join him for the big finish!

Ash: [excited] Really?!
Jagged: Yeah! [hands Ash a mic] Let the world hear your voice!
Ash gained a huge smile and began to sing!
[Ash]
Pokémon!

Nino: Woo!
Alya: Oh yeah!
Ash: This is awesome, Jagged! This collaboration is a big success!
Pikachu: [agreeing] PIKA PIKACHU!
Jagged: Yep! And I owe it all to you, Ash! Give it up for one of Paris's heroes!
[crowd cheers loudly]
Fangirl: We love you, Ash!
Fangirl #2: You're the man!
Fangirl #3: You're so awesome!
Fangirl #4: You're so handsome!
Ash: Thank you! Thank you! You're all too kind!
Pikachu: PIKA PIKACHU!
Marinette: Wow! No doubt he'll be as popular as Jagged soon!
Popplio: [agreeing] POPPLIO!
The next day, there was a TVi News report. An image of the album cover appears on the screen next to Nadja Chamack.
Nadja: In today's headlines, Jagged Stone's new album hit the charts at #1, and the collaboration of Jagged Koffing and the Toxic Stones is a trending gig amongst the people of Paris, hitting XY off his throne. [the image changes to a "Metal Lourd" magazine cover with a depiction of Marinette, Popplio, Ash, Pikachu and Jagged Stone together] Welcome back, king of rock 'n' roll!
At Collège Françoise Dupont. Marinette and Alya are hanging out near the stairs, looking through the magazines when they heard a lot of commotion as they saw Ash getting a lot of "Hi!" and "Hello!" and "Hey, Ash!" and "Hey there, superstar!" This meant that Ash was now popular!
Girl: Hi, Ash~!
Girl #2: Hi there, cutie~!
Girl #3: Morning, handsome~!
Ash: [giggles; goes over to Marinette and Alya]
Alya: Well, looks like someone's the most popular boy in school!
Marinette: I'm impressed!
Ash: Thanks! [as someone came up to him with one of Jagged's new albums] I'm actually surprised by all of the attention I'm getting [signs it with a marker that he had]!
Pikachu: [agreeing] PIKACHU!
That's when Juleka came over to them!
Juleka: Babe.
Ash: Hey, Juleka!
Pikachu: [happily greeting] PIKACHU!
Juleka: You're so popular now.
Ash: [rubs his neck sheepishly] Yeah, I guess so!
Juleka: I'm happy for you. [hugs him; coos] My big handsome rock star.
Ash: Aww! Thanks, babe!
Pikachu: [happy] PIKA PI!
Ash: I honestly don't remember the last time I had this much attention!
Marinette: What do you mean?
Popplio: POP?
Ash: The last time I had this much attention was when I traveled around Alola and became the Alola Region Champion!
Pikachu: [agreeing] PIKA PIKACHU!
Alya: Wait! You're a Champion?
Ash: [proud] Sure am!
Pikachu: [proud] PIKACHU!
Alya: Dude! That's incredible! Major scoop! Why didn't you tell us this before?!
Ash: [rubs the back of his head sheepishly] I guess it slipped my mind!
Pikachu: [smiles sheepishly] PIKACHU!
But before anyone could say anything else, Adrien came over!
Adrien: Um... hey there, Marinette. [Marinette tries to stay cool, but she almost trips] So, actually I'm a huge fan of Jagged Stone and I saw you designed his new album cover.
Marinette: I...I did! [chuckles] Crazy, huh?
Adrien: I... wanted to ask if... I could get it... autographed?
Marinette: Um, okay, sure... uh, I'll ask him. [grabs Adrien's marker and album cover]
Adrien: Ah, no. Um, actually I meant you. [points to her]
Marinette: [realizes everyone is watching her] Me? Me? [signs her name on the cover]
Adrien: If you wouldn't mind. [Marinette gives the marker and album cover back to him] Awesome! Thanks, Marinette! [walks away while looking at Marinette's signature]
Meanwhile, Chloé is biting on the "Metal Lourd" magazine jealously while Sabrina is fanning her with the same magazine, much to Ash's amusement!
Ash: [snickers] She got served!
Alya: Girl, did I just imagine it, or did you just sign an autograph for Adrien?
Marinette: I can't feel my legs anymore. Hold me up! I'm gonna fall over! Is he still around?
Alya: It's okay. He's gone. You can fall over.
Marinette: This is the happiest day of my life! Rock 'n' roll!
Ash: Yeah! [sings like a rock star] Rock-'n'-roll!
Ash, Marinette and Alya: [laughs]
The scene ends with Marinette cheering while Adrien's looking at Marinette's signature, Ash on stage singing, and Jagged and Roxie back-to-back performing a rock-'n'-roll duet with Koffing floating above them!
Narrator: Marinette has once again pleased Jagged Stone with her creative designs! And it would seem our hero is getting more popular everyday! However, he seems to want to give Juleka a Pokémon partner of her own! When will she get one? Which Pokémon will it be? We'll find out next time, as the journey continues!
