Summary: Donatella creates a female marionette robot, Phantom, to fight against a new oni.

In the Crete Fortress, Ella and Ellie sat on the couch to watch TV while Lee was reading her fashion magazine on a sofa chair.

Then suddenly, a heavy step shook the entire living room that knocked all three mystics down to the floor.

"What the heck was that?!" Lee exclaimed in surprise.

"I think it's coming from Donna's lab!" Ellie cried as she quickly lifted her head up.

"Oh great. What she's building this time?" Ella groaned.

Lee, Ella, and Ellie heard a loud slam coming from Donna's lab. They quickly got up and ran in front of the closed lab door just as Ellie started knocking on it.

"Yo, Donna, what are you doing?" Ellie asked curiously. "Is everything ok in there?"

"Oh, yeah! Hold on a sec!" Donna replied.

The lab door immediately opened that revealed Donna leaning against the entrance with a smile on her face.

"Hey, girls. What's sup?" Donna greeted.

"Donna, what exactly are you doing that is making all the ruckus?" Lee asked.

"Oh, sorry about that." Donna questioned. "Remember when we fought Ivanna? The robot that Sage invented?"

"Yeah." Lee, Ella, and Ellie responded.

Donna levitated a glowing mystical orb above her left hand.

"When I analyzed the Heart of Ravenhelm, I've learned that its magical properties can power literally any machinery." Donna explained. She then held a small piece of titanium in front of her face with an exciting smile. "So, I figured that if Sage can build her robot, I can build one too. Who knows? Maybe I can advance the Sonicruiser and any of my future inventions to limitless possibilities."

"Let's not get ahead of ourselves, Donna." Lee said.

"Or too crazy." Ellie remarked.

"Your sisters are right, Donatella."

Lee, Ella, Ellie, and Donna turned their heads to Saldana, who was walking towards them.

"Not many mystics are willing to adapt their magic towards anything, not even modern technology." Saldana said. "Infusing technology with magic may be an interesting experience, but that idea may be vulnerable to almost any erratic disruption."

"I already got that covered." Donna assured confidently. "I created a computer firewall ready to install once the robot is complete. Anyway, I better get back to work. Bye."

With that, Donna closed her lab door and began working on her newest invention.

"I believe tonight's dinner will be in order." Saldana said to Lee, Ella, and Ellie.

"I'm on it." Ellie said.

Meanwhile, Irma and Aaliyah exited out of the pizza restaurant.

"Ugh! I can't believe I ate that much pizza in my life." Irma said with a groan. "My stomach is never gonna be the same."

"Speak for yourself." Aaliyah grinned. "The girls are gonna flip when they learned we can get free pizza for a whole week. Mostly Ellie, but you get the idea."

"That would've explain why she chose that mega soda you ordered." Irma said as she crossed her arms over her chest.

Irma heard a small hiss in the alleyway and turned to the shadows, but she didn't see anything.

"What is it, Irma?" Aaliyah asked.

"I thought I've heard something, but I guess it was nothing." Irma replied.

"Well, let's head to Saldana." Aaliyah said as she and Irma continued walking. "She's training me to become a kunoichi."

"Seriously? That's so cool." Irma said with a smile. "I wonder if she can teach me, so I can..."

A mysterious creature snuck closer behind Irma and Aaliyah. As it roared, Irma and Aaliyah spun around and screamed. But they didn't have a fortunate time to run away.

Back at the Crete Fortress, three mystic sisters sat on the couch while watching TV until Donna came walking into the room.

"Ladies!" Donna called out. She placed her hands on her hips just as Lee, Ella, and Ellie turned their hands to their brainiac sister. "I want you all to meet Phantom."

Donna pointed her thumb behind her. Lee, Ella, and Ellie looked past Donna to see a large doll-like humanoid automaton walking and standing behind her. She is a six feet and four inches tall. Her metallic face was modeled after a twenty year old woman. She has steel complexion, shoulder-length metallic blonde hair, and bright green eyes. She has long and slim arms with thick wrists and large, thick hands. She also wore a metallic shin-length light bluish-purple qipao with long black sleeves and black pants with attached ankle high-heeled boots.

Lee, Ella, and Ellie's gaze repeatedly darted back and forth between Donna and Phantom.

"What the..." Ellie said in utter surprise. "This is what you wanted to show us?"

"Yup." Donna answered with a smile. "You see, Phantom is programmed with the purpose of guarding her allies, protecting them from danger and then leading them to escape. Depending on the situation, she would chase away or battle the attackers."

"So, she's like a bodyguard." Lee said.

"Yup. Our bodyguard." Donna said. "Not only that, she's also my daily companion to help me around the lab. She'll also take care of mom, Ryoko, and Ekron while we're not home."

As Ryoko and Ekron came into the living room, they immediately stared at Phantom in wonder and amazement. They flew around the doll-like automaton in admiration, while Phantom looked at them in a curiosity and wonder.

"Well, I love her already!" Ellie smiled as she stared at Phantom. "She's quite tall, but also seems beautiful and kind."

Phantom stared at Ellie as if she was curious by her comment.

"The only thing I haven't done yet is to input her personality." Donna added.

"Oh, that's okay, I still like her." Ellie said.

"So, you can build a robot for protection and housekeeping. But can she fight?" Ella asked as she crossed her arms over her chest.

"Oh yeah." Donna replied. "I've installed a battle programming chip with different ninjutsu techniques. But if you insist on testing Phantom, go head and get her all you got."

Phantom's eyes flashed and lifted her arms in a threatening position.

"Alright, don't blame me if I broke your toy, Donna." Ella said as she cracked her knuckles with a grin.

Ella generated a great amount of fire from both hands and unleashed a huge blast of flames from its mouth at Phantom. But Phantom's eyes glowed and generated a purple orb of magical energy around herself for protection. Once Phantom dropped the orb, she instantly disappeared.

"What the?! Where did she go?!" Ella exclaimed as she began looking around for Phantom.

Seconds later, Phantom reappeared behind Ella. She grabbed Ella and flipped both of them upside-down before falling and driving the red mystic kunoichi head-first into the ground. Donna recorded the fight with her cell phone in enjoyment, but she quickly moved her phone to record Lee and Ellie attacking Phantom with their magic.

Lee and Ellie manifested dozens of spheres composed solely of compressed solid water and wind before sending them to attack Phantom all at once. But Phantom generated another purple orb of magical energy around herself to protect herself. Phantom then disappeared and reappeared between the two mystic sisters.

Before Lee and Ellie could react, Phantom suddenly grabbed Ellie's left leg and the Lee's right leg. She proceeded to smash them into the ground multiple time until she tossed them up in the air. Phantom then radiated a field of lightning around herself that hit the mystic sisters, sending them to fall and crash into the semiconscious Ella.

Phantom landed back to the ground and Donna sat on her robot's right shoulder with a proud smile.

"I don't know about you girls, but this was fun." Donna said. "And I've got it all on video."

"You better not sent it to Irma or Aaliyah." Ellie groaned.

Saldana levitated into the living room that caught Donna's attention.

"Hey, mom! Is it okay if Phantom can join me and my sisters on missions?" Donna asked with a pleading smile.

"Of course, Donatella." Saldana replied. Her voice became firm. "But only for one day. Think of it, as you call it, a test run. Use her wisely."

"I will." Donna smiled. She turned back to her sisters with a teasing smile. "Not bad for a robot who just kicked your butts, huh?"

"Shut. Up." Ella muttered.

Outside, Phantom sped and hopped on each rooftop in cloaking mode. Donna rode on her robot's neck while Lee, Ella, and Ellie are being carried under the robot's long arms. Despite being a heavy robot, Phantom is very light on her feet. As Phantom landed on the edge of the rooftop, she dropped Lee on her feet and pointed her finger at the running Irma below in the alleyway.

"Hey, there's Irma." Donna said.

Lee and Phantom landed around Irma, who quickly halted just as Phantom placed Ella and Ellie standing on the ground.

"Oh, thank goodness." Irma said.

"Where's Aaliyah?" Ellie asked.

"She's..." Irma said. She focused her attention to Phantom, who looked down at her. "Donna, I know you have something to do with this. Please explain."

"This brilliant robot is Phantom." Donna said proudly.

"By studying Sage's schematics on Ivanna?" Irma asked with a smile.

"Yup." Donna grinned. "With a lot of mystic upgrade from me."

"That's awesome." Irma said.

"Uh, Irma, you were gonna tell us what happened to Aaliyah." Ella interrupted.

"Oh, yeah, sorry about that." Irma apologized. "Remember the oni creatures you girls told me about? Aaliyah got kidnapped by one."

"Was it Rosa?" Ella asked.

"Or Chiffon?" Ellie asked.

"Neither." Irma answered. "This oni has a green skin color."

"So, it's possible they have another ally." Lee said. "No doubt they've captured Aaliyah as bait to lead us into a trip."

"That won't be a problem." Ellie said as she placed her hands on her hips. She pointed her thumb at Lee. "We've got an aura tracker right here."

"Leave it to me." Lee replied.

Lee closed her eyes and focused on perceiving Aaliyah's aura throughout the city. But she opened her eyes with complete confusion on her face.

"That's weird." Lee said. "Normally, I can track down literally every aura on anyone, but for some reason, I can't detect Aaliyah at all."

Donna turned to Phantom.

"Phantom, find Aaliyah." Donna said.

Phantom looked up at the sky and her eyes glowed. She quickly grabbed the girls and sprinted forward to track down Aaliyah's heat signature until she arrived on the building rooftop. She placed the girls on the ground and pointed her finger at the botanical garden below.

"Uh, wait a minute. This oni captured Aaliyah in a garden?"

"Botanical garden, to be exact." Donna corrected. "Phantom, scan for anything that could've blocked Lee's aura sense."

Phantom scanned the botanical garden and looked for any devices. After a few seconds, her scanning was complete. Her eyes then projected a holographic image of an incredibly flamboyant flower.

"What the heck is that?" Irma asked.

"Never seen them before." Donna replied. "No doubt this new oni placed them everywhere around the garden."

"Here's the plan." Lee said. "Ella, Ellie, and I will infiltrate the garden and locate Aaliyah. Donna and Irma will stay here with Phantom in case we need a counter attack."

"Say what?" Donna asked. "Yes, I understand Phantom is very powerful, but..."

"My point exactly." Lee said. "Stay put and wait for our signal."

Lee, Ella, and Ellie took off.

Irma looked back at Donna and placed a hand on her shoulder. Donna crossed her arms with a sigh while Phantom looked at her creator and tilted her head with curiosity.

Lee, Ella, and Ellie stealthily moved forward past hundreds of jewel-like alpine flowers and rare and graceful woodland plants. They crouched behind the rose bush and watched an oni-like creature standing on top of a gently cascading waterfall above a tranquil flower-rimmed pond, where Aaliyah was being tied up by rose vines.

The oni creature has a height of a young adult. She has vibrant green skin, hot pink hair tied into Odango-style twin buns with some hair loose at the bottom, and blue eyes. She wore a sleeveless black jumpsuit that covers her neck, torso, and halfway down above her ankle with a lime-green outline around her V-necked collar, armholes, and lower legs, and a pair of black dress shoes with a lime-green outline around the top and lime-green soles on her feet. She also has a pair of black curved horns on top of her head and a long serpentine tail.

"Okay, how are we gonna do this?" Ella whispered to Lee. She pointed her thumb to the oni creature. "It's obvious the freak show over there ain't gonna let Aaliyah go any time soon."

"It's gonna take stealth to pull this off." Lee whispered back. "Ellie will use her wind magic to rescue Aaliyah while you and I take down that oni with our snaring strike."

"I can work with that." Ella grinned.

Ellie heard some rustling coming from behind that caught her attention. She turned around and her face went complete shock.

"Uh, girls." Ellie said, pointing her shaking finger forward. "We've got a bigger problem."

Lee and Ella turned around to see a large black rose-like flower approaching menacingly in their direction. Its face resembles a bat and has long droopy whisker-like stamens.

"Oh, crud." Lee and Ella said.

Meanwhile, Irma started looking around Phantom, who tilted her head at her. She looked up at the robot's eyes with an exciting smile on her face.

"Are those hyper spectral cameras?" Irma asked.

"Yup." Donna confirmed.

Irma looked at Phantom's metallic skin and hands.

"Titanium." Irma noted in amazement. "Wow. How did you even made her?"

"From scanning Ivanna's schematics on the metal and the orb that powered her." Donna explained. "Her body can transform into various weapons."

"Shut up..." Irma said as she looked up at Phantom in shock.

"Hm, I wonder how the girls are doing so far?" Donna asked.

Suddenly, a loud monstrous roar caught their attention. Donna, Irma, and Phantom looked down at the garden, where they heard the sound of Ellie's loud voice.

"Donna! Irma! Help us!" Ellie screamed from the garden.

"I'm gonna say they're in trouble." Irma replied.

"Kinda figured." Donna said with a shrug.

Back in the botanical garden, the rose-like flower snared the three mystic kunoichis in massive vine tendrils.

"You better let us go, you giant plant freak!" Ella shouted.

"I watch your mouth if I were you."

Ella, Lee, and Ellie turned their attention to the oni creature, who was walking towards them and climbing up to her flower monster. She then snapped her fingers, directing the vines that snared Aaliyah to move towards the girls.

"So, you three must be the girls that defeated Chiffon and Rosa." The oni creature said to Ella, Lee, and Ellie. "I'm Jade. You three and your little friend here are about to be fertilizer to my darling flower."

"Not on our watch!"

Everyone turned to the source of that voice, where Phantom jumped high in the air and landed on the grass as she dropped Donna and Irma to the ground.

"Well, it looks like my darling is gonna have some fun after all." Jade smiled. She leaped off her creation and landed on the grass. "Chantrieri, charge and destroy!"

"Phantom, take it down!" Donna ordered her robot.

Phantom nodded and charged forward. She thrusted her arms forward and quickly slashed the vines that snared the girls all at once before picking up Chantrieri and tossed it away.

Donna and Irma ran up to Aaliyah, Ella, Lee, and Ellie.

"Okay, while we were on standby on the roof, what's going on?" Irma questioned. She pointed her thumb behind her. "And what's with the giant flower that Phantom is fighting?"

Then, a green energy combat-like whip was shooting towards the girls out of nowhere. Ella managed to launch a large fireball and scorched the whip. She and the other girls turned their heads to see Jade summoning two whips from her hands with an evil grin on her face.

"That's Jade." Aaliyah said. "She kidnapped me to lure you guys here and she made that monster over there."

"That's the Black Bat Flower." Donna said, staring at the flower monster. "It's one of the rarest flowers in the planet."

"And how do we stop it?" Ella asked.

"The Black Bat Flower needs a lot of humidity and a large amount of water because it's difficult for a plant like that to grow indoors." Donna explained.

"And maybe your magic can be the key to slow it down." Irma said.

"Go for it." Lee said. "We'll handle Jade. You and Irma help Phantom."

"Roger." Irma said with a two-fingered salute.

Donna and Irma ran off to aid Phantom, leaving the other girls to handle Jade.

Jade began swinging her green energized whips towards the girls. Lee, Ella, Ellie, and Aaliyah kept evading the lashing whips, but they were unable to launch an attack of their own. Jade then formed a wicked smile on her face as she shaped her whips into energy spheres from her hands.

"Heads up, ladies!" Jade shouted.

Jade unleashed a barrage of energy spheres at the girls. But Ellie outstretched her glowing hands and spun herself to make a tornado shield that protected herself, her older sisters, and her friend from the energy spheres.

"So, what's the plan, guys? I can't hold this much longer!" Ellie shouted.

"Does anyone here have any bright ideas?" Ella asked.

Then, Aaliyah got an idea.

"Got it!" Aaliyah said. "Remember like the time you guys' sneak-attacked Rosa back at the gym? We can do it again on Jade!"

"Roger that." Lee nodded. She looked up at her youngest sister. "Ellie, it's fog time!"

"Okie-dokkie!" Ellie shouted.

Ellie dropped the tornado shield and landed next to Lee.

Lee and Ellie charged forward. They sprang up in the air and combined their magic circles together, releasing thick white misty fog that surrounded Jade and obscured her vision at the same time.

"Huh? What is this?" Jade shouted, looking around her surrounding with caution.

Aaliyah took out her tanto sword and swung out white energy waves at Jade, making her stumble backward with a growl. Lee fired two powerful blasts of water from her hands at Jade. Ellie spun herself rapidly and unleashed a strong gust with light orange energy blades that slashed Jade. And Ella released a spiraling flame at Jade from both hands, trapping and burning Jade in a fiery tornado.

Jade didn't have a chance to strike back as all of the attacks came hitting her from different direction, leaving her collapse onto the ground.

Meanwhile, Phantom postured herself for battle with her claw-like fingers. She ran and leapt towards Chantrieri, but the flower monster quickly swatted her away.

Donna and Irma hid the bushes as they are waiting their right time for Phantom to take down Chantrieri. Donna handed a black bomb in Irma's hands.

"What's this?" Irma asked.

"It's a nightshade bomb." Donna replied. "The plant itself causes paralysis. One hit and the monster will no longer be to fight back."

"Wow. Nice." Irma smiled.

"All Phantom has to do is to weaken the monster long enough for me to use my magic." Donna said.

Phantom stood back up and leapt off again. This time, she managed to slice Chantrieri's vines in rapid tornado-like style.

Chantrieri growled angrily. It headbutted Phantom to the ground and hit her into the sky before smacking Phantom into the ground from the sky. Chantrieri then attempted to crush Phantom with its vines, but it barely missed her. It also sent Donna and Irma flying some distance into the grass.

"Phantom!" Donna shouted.

Donna saw a glint of something inside a tree hollow. She crawled forward and found a large blue crystal hidden inside. She pulled it out and examined closely. Much to her surprise, the crystal glowed in a brighter blue-white glow.

"Wow." Donna gasped in awe.

Donna wasted no time. She grabbed the crystal and placed it in her belt pocket before focusing her attention to her robot.

Phantom knelt in pain and almost started to give up.

"Come on, Phantom! Don't give up! I know you can take that plant down!" Donna shouted.

Phantom looked down sadly, signaling her creator that she can't fight anymore.

"Yes, you can!" Donna yelled. "Come on! You're strong, Phantom! Strong in the real way!"

Phantom looked at Donna, regaining some confidence in herself. She nodded her head and slowly pulled herself back on her feet.

"Now, go get it!" Donna shouted.

Phantom understood and charged forward with quick speed. Chantrieri started lashing its vines towards Phantom, who dodged and then ran away. Chantrieri then chased after Phantom straight into the greenhouse.

"Get ready, Irma! We only get one shot!" Donna said to Irma.

"On it!" Irma nodded.

Irma and Donna got up before running into the greenhouse.

Phantom sprang off in the air. Chantrieri started launching its tentacles. Phantom then hurled her arms at the ground and constructed a large drill underneath Chantrieri, causing the plant monster to lose its footing and crash onto the ground.

Before Chantrieri can recover, Irma threw the bomb at the flower monster. The bomb exploded and released a black powder that instantly paralyzed Chantrieri in its place.

Donna then levitated in front of Chantrieri and lifted her glowing hands. A radiating glow coming from Donna's belt flowed and swirled its energy around Donna, changing her eyes into blazing bluish-white.

"What...?" Donna gasped. "What is...this feeling?"

But Donna shook her head and focused on Chantrieri. She fired a bluish-white energy beam that surrounded the flower monster in a blazing aura. Chantrieri roared, but it was unable to move and began shrinking back into a regular flower.

Donna picked up the flower with a victorious smile on her face.

Just as the misty fog started clearing up, Jade found herself surrounded by Aaliyah, Lee, Ella, and Ellie.

"I don't care how many victories you throw win, but we will be victorious!" Jade said with a glare.

With that, Jade leapt away with remarkable speed.

Donna, Irma, and Phantom ran up to the other girls.

"You girls okay?" Irma asked.

"We're good." Aaliyah replied.

"So, what happened to that rampaging plant?" Ella asked.

"Consider it done." Donna answered.

Donna showed a regular flower in front of her sisters and friends.

"Nice work, Donna." Lee said with a grin.

"You should've seen her. It was so radical!" Irma smiled. "I don't know how, but the way Donna handle that monster was so cool."

"Really? How?" Lee asked Donna.

"Well, let's just say I couldn't do it without Phantom." Donna smiled, looking up at Phantom. "She was strong and brave just how I made her."

Phantom lifted her large hand and gently patted her creator on the head, signaling Donna that she's grateful to be part of the team.

"I could be wrong, but I think Phantom is telling you that she's already part of a great team." Ellie said to Donna.

Donna looked up at Phantom and grew a smile on her face.
