3rd Person POV

"Dammit!" That was a word and yell that could be heard from the kitchen of April O'Niel and Gamora's apartment.

April was currently trying to figure out what she saw the night before at the docks. She knew one thing though. A vigilante was fighting back against the foot clan and she was going to find out who.

"You ok April?" Gamora asked as she went to check on her little sister who she heard yelling.

"Yeah it's just- Well! No one believes me about the Vigilante I saw down at the docks except you! Everyone thinks I'm crazy!" April said before drawing her knees to her chest.

Gamora sighed. She still wasn't the best with emotions but was getting better at it as time passed.

"I'm sorry sis. But hey, don't give up. No great reporter ever gave up on their story!" Gamora told April who smiled at her older sister and hugged her.

"Thanks Mora" April said, saying her nickname for her, before standing and brushing her outfit down.

"Now! Go out there and get yourself a story!" Gamora said with confidence, hyping up her sister who smiled and nodded.

"I will! Bye!" April said as she grabbed her keys and ran out of the apartment as Gamora chuckled before going to her room to make more weapons for her website.

-later that night-

Gamora was worried. April was really late. Usually when she would be late April would call but she hasn't even done that. Not even a text

Sighing deeply Gamora got on her gear (the outfit she wore at the beginning of GOTG 2), hid knives on her body, and put two katanas in the pouch on the back of her outfit, making a X with the swords.

She closed her eyes before opening them, her eyes glowing purple. Gamora used her powers to track April, successfully finding her before leaving the apartment to where her sister was.

-with April and the Turtles-

April had just passed out. After following the turtles, taking their photo, and trying to escape down a ladder, Raphael wrapped a chain around her waist pulling her up onto the roof the 4 mutant brothers were on

She had managed to stay calm until Mikey untied his mask and showed April his face, causing her to pass out from shock.

Donnie was about to go forward and help her when they heard a thud. The four mutant brothers turned to see a Green woman with red hair and white/silver patterns on her face in a leathery outfit with weapons attached to her.

"Whoa awesome outfit! And I love your skin! My fellow green. I'm Michelangelo, the one in purple is Donnatello, the one in red is Raphael, and the one in blue is Leonardo." Mikey said as Gamora tilted her head and kept her poker face.

The other three turtles were feeling a mix of shock at the girls appearance and annoyance at Mikey's trusting and friendly behavior.

The mutants really feeling shock were Leo and Donnie who couldn't believe what they were seeing. The woman in front of them looked like a half mutant half human.

Raphael however felt a strange tingle in his chest. Frowning at the feeling, Raphael rubbed his chest wondering what he was feeling.

Before anyone could do anything the four mutants saw Gamora step slightly to the side watching the human girl who was passed out of the ground.

They watched as anger flooded her features and eyes before turning to their brother drawing one of her katanas.

"Whoa miss! Calm down! We aren't hurting her. She took a photo of us before we confronted her. She passed out from shock." Donnie said quickly pointing at April, and trying to calm the armed woman who looked ready to kill them.

Gamora looked at them for a few minutes. Seeing they were telling the truth she nodded putting her weapon away.

"I'll have her delete the photo. But in exchange I want you to stay away from my sister." Gamora said as the turtles were frozen in shock at her powerful but alluring voice.

Gamora rolled her eyes walking past them and towards her sister. Picking April up she used her magic, her eyes glowing purple, much to the shock of the four mutant brothers, to make sure April was unharmed internally, emotionally, and physically.

After minutes, and Gamora was confident April was ok, she picked up her sister bridal style. Gamora walked towards and passed the turtles, showing them she deleted the photo, before using her magic to levitate away to her and her sisters apartment, her sister still unconscious in her arms.

What Gamora didn't know was that as she walked past the mutant brothers before she left, her arm brushed against Raphael's who felt something primal.

When Gamora walked past, brushing her arm against Raphael's, Raphael felt waves of possessiveness and protectiveness wash over him. Raphael felt shock and confusion before a memory hit him.

The turtle's father and Sensei had told them that these feelings could only be felt after contact with their mates. None of them took it seriously, believing they'd never find anyone who'd love a mutant or that they'd even find their mate to begin with.

Raphael didn't know what to do. A part of him wanted to find Gamora and protect her, and another part of him wanted to push her away, afraid of rejection.

"Guys let's go! If we want to beat master splinter home we have to go now!" Donnie said, snapping Raphael out of his thoughts as they ran and scaled buildings towards the sewers.
