Time for some good old fashioned yeetery

Onthetidesofevermore: the odds are not looking good for him

thewittywhy: Zan is content with having a partner and child and being the fourth strongest person on the planet
and yeah, the odds aint lookin great for him

Diate: Le thank

Qinlongfei: Super 17's design would be fine if it weren't 17. If it was just a new Android I'd have no issues with the design
I like Mr. Satan not being a real combatant. Him being comparatively weak is a core part of his character to me. Him being courageous when the chips are down just wouldn't feel the same if he was on the same level.
Honestly, even if Raditz were to get SS4, he still wouldn't be as strong as SIGohan, because he just, doesn't really train when he doesn't have to. I'd place him at 2 mil at base, maybe 5 at absolute max if you want to be super generous. SIGohan, while not as strong as canon Gohan at base, she'd still be at least a couple dozen mil

ArguableReader; Ah! Hi! Glad you like it, here's another chapter for you then.

Clover

Clover wandered the halls of the tournament building. She'd tried to sense Trunks and Goten out but wherever they were they were masking their Ki's pretty well. Also sensing people was hard.

So, she was wandering.

And not getting much from it. You'd think someone with bright lavender hair would be easier to spot.

Someone she did recognize though was that nice Announcer Guy! Maybe he's seen Trunks!

She ran up to ask, but no he also hadn't seen him. But he said he'd help her look!

So now they were both wandering.

"Trunks only won 'cause he cheated you know. He's not actually that much stronger than I am, he only won cause he used Ki when his mom said we weren't allowed to. And- And! I'm better than he is at hand-to-hand combat actually! That's why he cheated! Cause he was gonna lose! He cheated with Goten too! They both used Ki so that's whatever I guess but he went Super Sayain too! And that way more not allowed than just Ki! And Goten did too that one time but he didn't use it to win at least.

"I don't know why Trunks was so careless in that fight at all actually. He hurt Goten really bad once, got super scared over it. He was crying but I never said that. Gohan said that's why we had to be super careful using Ki and stuff. And we have! We always do! Nothing in either fight would have seriously hurt any of us, but he almost hit people in the stands with that one beam, and even if he had good control that was super risky. Goten used a beam too but at least his wasn't toward people. Even if he did break stuff."

"May I ask a question?" The nice announcer guy asked, "is what you called "Super Sayain," the technique used to turn their hair gold?"

"Yeah! And I can do that too you know! Our dads were super surprised because it's supposed to be really hard to get but I dunno it seems pretty easy to me. It's uh- oh sorry, I'm not really supposed to talk about what it is really."

"That's fine, you have to keep some techniques secret after all. I won't even use the name in the future if I wasn't supposed to know that."

She smiled at him and agreed. That was good, she probably said more than she was supposed to.

Oh well. He said he wouldn't repeat it so it's ok.

She kept talking while they looked. He was nice and didn't tell her she was talking too much.

It was almost disappointing when he opened a door and started talking with one of the adult contestants.

Who spoke back with the fakest-sounding adult voice she'd ever heard.

It was actually amazing that the nice announcer guy didn't notice. Maybe there are just a lot of weird people in these tournaments.

She ducked out of sight as the "mighty mask" fumbled through excuses and explanations. She floated up and pressed herself against the ceiling, adults never seem to look up when they're looking for people.

This left the nice announcer guy scratching his head when he noticed her gone and walked off probably to look for her.

She felt kinda bad but it's fine probably.

Once he was gone she dropped down and opened the door, just in time to catch Trunks removing the way oversized clothes.

"…Hey Clove-"

"What are you doing?"

Trunks looked nervous and Goten looked between them as he seemed to just wait for Trunks to find an excuse.

So as Trunks fumbled through explanations and excuses, she turned to leave.

"-WAIT! Wait wait wait!" Trunks called before she could open the door.

"You can't tell our moms!"

"Why?" She tilted her head back to ask.

"Be-because- uh- how about I give you half my prize money if you don't?"

She paused and weighed her options.

It was super lame that they snuck off to compete in the adult's competition without telling her. Even if their dumb stacking people idea definitely wouldn't have worked with three people. She was surprised it worked at all.

But half of the winnings was still a lot of money…

"Fine then. I won't tell any of our parents," she said before walking away.

She wandered through the halls, trying to retrace her steps back to the entrance, and found her way to the waiting room for the fighters.

It was still super lame that they wouldn't get into any trouble for all this…but she already said she wouldn't tell their parents…

She could probably find her way back up from here no problem.

She saw Miss Eighteen leaning against the wall, looking bored.

!

She got a great idea!

She ran over to her, pulling on her shirt until Miss Eighteen leaned down.

"Trunks and Goten are pretending to be the masked guy so they can fight in the adult's competition, and they purposely left me out. Also, I told them I wouldn't tell our parents."

Miss Eighteen blinked before glancing up towards the halls where the boys had yet to return.

She then looked back down and nodded, giving the ok signal implying that she'll take care of it for her.

Now she could head back feeling totally satisfied with the situation.

We wandered into the definitely not a trap spaceship.

I glanced up. Being inside would cause a few problems. I suppose I could just blow a hole through the roof if it comes to it.

"Do you even remember how to fight without your precious "ultimate?" Vegeta snidely asked.

"The Ultimate," I corrected without adding anything else. I can fight perfectly well without it still, I just don't think I could actually beat Dabura without it.

Idly I mentioned just blasting the place before they could even wake Buu, but the Supreme Kai insisted it'd be too dangerous.

I mean, with the Ultimate I doubt there'd be anything left of Buu to wake up but whatever I guess.

And we ended up in an empty room with a single metal door closing off further progress. And the exit sealed behind us. Joy.

"Is blasting down the door out of the question too?" I asked sarcastically, only for Kibito to snap at me because Supreme Kai, respect, blah blahblah.

Shin said yes regardless. Can't risk accidentally waking Buu early.

Great great great.

I was half tempted to do so anyway. I wasn't worried about Buu and I just wanted to get rid of Dabura as quickly as possible to not risk anything happening to Piccolo or Krillin.

On the other hand, I didn't really want a Kai angry at me even if I think they were overrated.

Babidi didn't keep us waiting for long, however, as soon enough the door in front of us opened and some alien guy with a long head walked through.

"So which one of us is fighting this guy?" Goku asked once the obligatory bad guy introduces himself intro.

"Which one? You should all be-"

"I already told you. I'm fighting Dabura. The two of you can decide anyone else as you want," I said as I walked to the back of the room to sit down.

"And why should you get to fight him? I should say fight in quotes, I doubt it'd last long," Vegeta snipped.

"Because I called dibs. Would you rather I handed the fight to you? Because considering how your fight with-"

"Hey hey-" Goku interrupted, "I'm sure we'll all get to fight. C'mon Vegeta, I'll even let you fight first." Goku smiled placatingly.

Vegeta scoffed, but didn't argue.

Shin looked between us in horror.

With that much decided, the fight was set to begin- with one issue. Neither side wanted to risk Buu waking up early and I fight so close would put that at risk.

The next thing I knew, we were no longer in a room, rather on some kind of red rocky planet.

I placed my arms back to replace the wall I could no longer lean on. This planet was apparently ten times the gravity of earth which put a bit of strain on my wrists, but not enough to make me want to sit straight or stand up.

Well, I guess that solves the whole roof issue.

The fight was, fine. It was a fight. The guy seemed surprised Vegeta didn't have difficulty in the ten times gravity, and downright worried when he mentioned regularly training in 300 times.

After that, it, sure was a fight. Vegeta was obviously dragging it out for the fun of it and he didn't even bother going Super Sayain.

"Wouldya hurry it up?" I called over.

"Oh you have some nerve-" Vegeta snapped glancing back. Not that that impeded him from blocking another attack as he did so.

Regardless, the fight didn't last long after that.

A moment after that we were back in the room.

Well, that's trippy. I get the wall back but I think I'm gonna stand before the next teleportation thing happens actually.

Which made me really glad that it was Goku's turn and not mine because the next teleportation happened there was, no light. At all. Only dark blackness.

Oh I would not have done well here I am glad I called Dabura.

I was aware there was a fight happening but I could not track most of it.

Apparently, the dude that lives here eats light which makes Ki attacks useless. I also have to question the logistics of eating light but whatever.

Goku went Super Sayain and at first, I was glad for something I could see, except my eyes had adjusted to the darkness so much that it hurt to look at him so, that was unfortunate.

The light-eating dude ate that light too. So Goku relit the transformation. Which was eaten again.

This process repeated until the light eater popped.

Probably a good thing it's so dark in here.

Anyway. Back to the room.

It took a few minutes for my eyes to readjust, and even in that time, no new fight popped up.

A few more minutes passed.

Then more. Eventually, I sat back down.

Then laid down.

I closed my eyes but obviously didn't manage to sleep because, obviously.

I don't know how long passed. An hour? Two? More?

It didn't occur to me to check my watch until a while had already passed, and I didn't know what time we'd started at so that wasn't quite helpful.

Nothing happening probably meant Buu wasn't woken yet which meant Shin was still anti blowing the place to dust.

I was about to disregard that entirely when the door finally opened.

And out walked Dabura.

A sort of calm washed over me as I stepped forward, making it clear who his opponent would be.

Dabura spoke, evidently to Babidi, "I would like us to be transported to a planet similar to Earth," he looked me in the eye, "I assume that's where you'd be most capable-"

"No."

"No?"

"Don't pick somewhere that you think I will have the advantage. Pick somewhere that you Think you will have the best chance. As long as it has breathable air and an open sky I don't care."

"What is wrong with you?" Shin hissed.

Dabura scowled. "Such arrogance. Very well then-" he then requested a planet in a language I couldn't hope to repeat.

I stumbled the second the landscape transformed itself, having to turn Super Sayain just to stand upright.

Dabura explained that the gravity here was a hundred times that of Earth's, which while Vegeta might have trained in three times that- I have not.

Back to my left, I heard Shin fretting about the odds and how this was bad.

Back towards my right, I heard Vegeta scoff. "There are two ways this ends," he said, "neither of them lasts a minute."

I glanced around, the landscape was dark browns, reds, and maroons. I looked up. The sky was dark but open as I requested.

Good. Cool. Great.

"Well then. If you're still feeling so sure of yourself, let's begin," Dabura smirked, looking smug at my apparent struggle with the gravity.

I held out a single arm, before turning it palm facing up. I formed the Power Ball and tossed it into the sky.

Dabura frowned, following its movement as by all accounts, ki blasts were generally fired at the enemy and not the sky.

His distraction gave plenty of time for the transformation to begin. Though I was fairly certain he wouldn't have interrupted anyway since he continued to stand in place as the transformation finished.

"Well then. Perhaps your confidence is quite so displaced as I may have believed, but even so-"

The moment my foot touched the ground I shot forward, kicking up rocks and leaving a crater in my wake. I paused in front of Dabura just long enough for him to register the fact that I'd moved.

"Boo."

Before he could react, I twisted and kicked him to the side, sending him crashing through the rocks.

I cleared the distance between us before he could recover.

"Nothing personal. I'd just like my friends back."

I held out a hand and one Ki blast later, there was nothing left of Dabura to speak of.

I turned back and cleared the distance back to the group.

"There. Piccolo and Krillin should be back to normal now, right?"

Neither Shin nor Kibito could seem to manage to speak as they stared at me.

The landscape shifted again and I stumbled. The next thing I knew we were back in the room again and Goku was holding me by the shoulder to prevent me from collapsing as I blinked, trying to recollect myself.

"That was, interesting," I said as I glanced up. The transformation had ended the second I had been removed from the proximity of the Power Ball.

That probably should have been an obvious limitation.

"Note to self. Test how far the distance I can be from the Power Ball before the transformation wears off."

"You mean you haven't already done that?" Vegeta demanded.

"Well, it's not like the issue's ever come up before. I never thought of it."

I rubbed my eyes. Oh, I was definitely too tired to fight again, at least for a little bit.

Still. Beats passing out, which I had almost solved the issue of anyway. I had like, an over 50% success rate of not completely passing out now.

"What are- what was that?"

I glanced over at Shin and elected to ignore where his original question was leading.

"The Ultimate. A transformation that only I have access to at the moment and is the strongest thing to exist, currently."

Well, with the exception of Beerus and Whis but we won't have to deal with Beerus for another good few years still.

Also I wasn't supposed to know about that, so saying it's the strongest thing would be the reasonable assumption for me to make.

Shin returned to just staring.

I yawned as I shrugged, "you're the one who didn't want me blowing up the place earlier."

My eyes felt heavy but I was probably plenty awake enough to continue on as we waited for the next thing to happen.
