Chapter 8
T&I, three days after the invasion
With the invasion over and all factions working to restore order. The village and Makai's empire tried to get a better understanding of the situation. Namely by interrogating the few survivors of the enemy force. Right now, Motoyasu found himself being hanged upside down in Ibiki's office. With the scarred man working to gain information out of the Spear Hero. Right now, his only real concern is that the blond idiot isn't too stupid to the point he literally knows nothing.
"Well, for a so called hero. You probably didn't expect yourself in a foreign land. Treated like garbage, bound like a criminal and a part of some conspiracy crap." Ibiki said while looking down at Motoyasu's form.
"I'm telling you creepy guy. I had my reasons and Naofumi is manipulating you all." Motoyasu said with gritted teeth.
"Really? The salesmen who sells his weird medicine and other crap?" Ibiki asked with some doubt.
"Yeah that's him, I almost thought he had a chance to be a good guy. Then he raped Myne and he's working with the demon king." Motoyasu said.
Ibiki sweat dropped, "It sounds like a case of stupid-idus. I think I see your type." he said as he kneeled to Motoyasu's eye level. "You are one entitled bastard. You have this sick idea that you are some saint and can do no wrong. Like you have this burden." he said.
"If protecting Myne and her people is a burden, then we can agree on one thing." Motoyasu said.
Ibiki snorted as he pulled off his bandana, "You see these scars? They come with the job." he said.
Motoyasu winced as he looked away, almost feeling like he would vomit. All that damaged flesh wasn't as nasty as any gory video game or movie. Yet, looking at it up close, that was all natural and Motoyasu was forced to see how much damage a man can take just to stay alive.
"Don't look away, even heroes do messed up things. While I admit, sometimes we don't like our jobs. You just gotta deal with it." Ibiki said as Motoyasu closed his eyes. Almost as if not looking would make his interrogator disappear, "Have you ever had to kill? Or at least see someone die or come close to death? That sense of helplessness? That moment when life just ends and you aren't even aware of it?" he asked.
Ibiki mentally laughed at Motoyasu's squeamish face. Even if this young man killed monsters, it was probably all a game to him. Sure, it made some people feel less bad if an animal is killed or at least something terrifying that isn't human. As if that's a mindless creature while a human seems to have more value. It's all green to most experienced jounin level shinobi. It's a sad truth that a lot of them have to move past.
"I see how it is, you think this is a fairy tale. Like in those books or movies about a hero who saves the pretty lady." Ibiki said as he started hearing whimpering. "Are you crying? You're a bigger child than I expected still. I'll offer you one piece of advice you will need if you live past today." he said as he puts on his bandanna.
Motoyasu then found his head being clutched to face Ibiki's serious face.
"The body is easier to heal. You can numb the pain and medicine and technology can help make it feel hollow, almost forgotten." Ibiki continued to say. "However, the mind. That thing is as fragile as your heart. So tell me, why the hell did someone with a weak heart like you decide to be a hero?" he asked mockingly.
In the background, a couple of ANBU were guarding a subordinate of Frollo who held up a pair of scales. Using them to power up a magic skill that lowers Motoyasu's morale as to reduce any needless arguing as well as forcing him to speak only in truth.
"Your interrogator is rather unnerving. The boy is in perfect health, but his mind is being kicked like a ball." the church follower said.
"That's Ibiki Morino, he harms the mind. Not the body." one of the ANBU replied.
Melromarc Embassy
With the two remaining heroes still active and ready for duty. They found themselves meeting Mirellia through another holographic meeting with some of the present officers of the Melromarc military standing by for important updates from their queen.
"As you can see, my worst fear has come." Mirellia started to say. "An ancient being known as the Spirit Tortoise has awakened. With it's presence, the waves will not appear." she said.
"I guess I wasn't going crazy when my timer stopped appearing." Naofumi said as he looked at his menu.
"Even still, what's so dangerous about a giant turtle?" Ren asked.
Without much surprise, Mirellia began to explain how the Spirit Tortoise is the first of the Guardian Beasts. Creatures that are far more dangerous than the actual waves themselves. As nations have fallen due to this creature's presence and sheer power. Not only that, but the queen mentioned it being able to summon demonic familiars. All of which are just the tip of the iceberg as this living calamity on it's own is worth dedicating their focus on.
"So when are we moving?" Naofumi asked.
"Should we?" Ren asked.
"The waves aren't coming back and we can't go home until the waves are all gone." Naofumi said.
"Shield has a point." an officer said. "This thing is worse and needs to be dealt with and then the waves will be back." he said.
Not everyone wanted to deal with the waves. Yet, regardless of what is considered more dangerous or more difficult. There's still a job that needs to be done.
"Still, aren't we a bit understaffed? We're down two men." Ren asked.
"If things do not go as planned, there is a type of rehabilitation planned for the Bow and Spear heroes." Mirellia said making a few men shiver. "However, I managed to contact other kingdoms who are also preparing to combat the Tortoise as we speak." She explained.
"What about that Seiya guy? Can't we convince him to team up again?" Ren asked.
Naofumi sighed, "A brick wall is easier to negotiate with. He's going to want a hefty price or something to motivate him." he explained. "Otherwise he's going to assume it's a waste of time or that someone is plotting a trap." he said finishing his explanation.
That did leave Mirellia thinking, 'Another summoned hero from another world? No, my husband already screwed that much. I would not dare to convince another world send their own heroes to assist us.' she thought.
While it did sound good and surprising as Merlromarc hardly interacts with other realms as they only have a connection with Re-Estisze and Clover Kingdom. Their ability to travel is limited and the magic to summon a hero is very powerful and difficult to attempt. Still, Mirellia would rather not be involved in another accident like Aultcray caused with the other nations who were meant to have summoned the heroes. It already sounded like Seiya is not a very agreeable person.
"That doesn't mean we're allowed to stand around though. I guess now is a good time to pack." Naofumi said.
"Queen Mirellia if I may, despite our thin alliance with the Yokai emperor. Would the Spirit Tortoise not effect him or create concern for him as well?" another officer asked.
"I understand what are you asking. Still, that would be a separate meeting I would have to make with Emperor Uzumaki." Mirellia answered.
There's a good chance Naruto or at least the body of government under him will consider some form of aid. Then again, it was their fault that Melromarc could not control their rogue soldiers for assisting in the attack on the elves and Konoha. Then there's Falmuth to worry about and whatever their king is plotting. The man is more insane than Aultcray, at least when Aultcray is up to controversial decisions. He is capable of using his own thoughts and formulates plans despite how crazy they are.
King Edmaris on the other hand is very greedy and isn't that good with independent decision making.
"For now, I wish you all good luck and that you all return safely in the coming days. Your services will be rewarded and appreciated." the queen said before disconnecting.
"Well this past month was a mess." one officer commented.
"Keep your chin up, at least those emperors are kind enough to set up a warp gate or whatever they call it back home." The lead commander said.
"Can we trust them?" another officer asked.
"For now we have to, tensions already seem to be putting pressure on them too." one commander said as he decided to risk trusting Emperors Vali and Naruto.
With Naruto
Naruto watched as his mother and wife tended to his newborns while Ram helped Kunou study. Everyone seemed to be living in harmony despite the recent events. Everyone has their own form of coping and it seemed very healthy compared to those who drink or take up other vices to calm down. Still, Naruto knew the important yet painful part of being a leader, sometimes you had to add in those extra hours of work. As long as the most humble of citizens are happy, then everyone will be just fine.
With that, Naruto looked over a list of special individuals similar to the Cardinal Heroes. Over the years, there are other kingdoms who had summoned individuals from other worlds similar to Melromarc and their neighboring kingdoms. Some even have the blessing of having a reincarnated individual who has the potential to gain greater power.
With Mirellia being short staffed and the chance of Seiya refusing to cooperate without a good enough reason. Naruto did know a few freelance individuals who could consider helping for a good cause. Though, it might be troublesome to find them and seeing how willing they are to help with cataclysmic events. Even true heroes have their limits.
"Hmm, I think this one would likely help. Of course he will need compensation." Naruto muttered.
That's when Vali decided to take a seat beside him, "You always have to find an excuse to work and be uptight." he commented.
"I just need to get this one thing done. Everyone else can have a break." Naruto said.
That was true enough, despite their losses being smaller compared to the village shinobi and the enemy. The loss of a single life is still a great one. There will be many friends and families who won't be receiving happy news about their loved ones. With that, several soldiers will be taking time off until their remaining tours of duty end.
"Then again, I'm practically recruiting again." Naruto said.
"Is now really a good time for a draft?" Vali asked.
"Not that kind of recruiting. With the fact that Seiya is a reminder that other lands can summon heroes. There are a few individuals in other realms who may consider helping. So long as they have a just reason." Naruto explained.
Now this surprised Vali, the idea of a hero from another world wasn't really something that interested him. He thought it was reckless since most of these people are wild cards since they just have a lot potential to be either good or bad. The Spear and Bow heroes are prime examples, along with Shogo and Kyoya who were very powerful as well as bloodthirsty. Sometimes these kingdoms can end up goading these individuals into being prideful and dangerous.
Others can end up creating monsters that become their own enemy. Melromarc was lucky that Naofumi still had morales as well as lacking offensive capabilities. Then there's Seiya who is reckless and fairly rude despite being willing to fight anyone who endangers civilians. Though the rare few like Seiya tend to be neutral which is considered a good thing in the end.
"So who do you suggest and how are you going to get them onboard?" Vali asked.
"I'll tell you later, though I may need to borrow Arachne. Her followers have ways of spreading the message." Naruto said as he stood up from his seat. "Now, I think I should relax. Mito and Arashi still need their training." he said.
"You're relaxing by training?" Vali asked.
"The results of hard work are always satisfying to watch." Naruto answered.
"You sadistic piece of crap." Vali said as he saw Naruto head outside.
Some time later, outside
Despite the time of peace, Naruto decided to torture his siblings. Namely by making them learn to control their element. Since they can handle their breathing and think they're ready to move onto more intermediate level techniques. Now, they have to understand their element despite being able to feel through the Breathing Styles.
"As you can see, fire is alive and must be controlled while water is cool and can move freely." Naruto said.
"I don't think philosophy training is going to help us." Arashi said as and Mito looked like burnt pieces of toast.
Naruto proceeded to lift the both of them up, "This is important and besides, you two have had it too easy. I had to do a lot of work under Momon's private army." he said.
"Oh yeah, private army. Wait, like mercenaries?" Mito asked with wide eyes.
"Actually it depended on the branding at the time." Naruto answered.
"Depended on what!?" Mito asked.
"Mainly the mission, well mostly whatever earned revenue. A lot of missions started off as suicide missions into dangerous locations." Naruto explained with no concern despite the life threatening moments in his life. Naruto let out a deep breath before continuing, "It's best to get started on training before crying about whatever craziness you get involved with. Unless you all want Koyanskaya to use you all as target practice." he finished.
Both shivered at the suggestion, Koyanskaya had a lot of weapons and she's still angry about Yamato kissing that sea nymph. An angry wife who's been cheated on knows nothing but wrath. Ironically, they can witness Koyanskaya chasing Kakashi while firing her machine gun at the scarecrow.
"What is going on with sensei?" Arashi asked as Kakashi started running.
They watched as Koyanskaya switched her heavy weapon for a sniper rifle. Where the long-shot rounds were filled with magic that created craters upon impact. Causing Kakashi to move even faster as to avoid being killed by the angry kitsune.
"Is she mad or something?" Arashi asked.
"Clearly she is, but I'll go speak to her." Naruto said as he carefully approached Koyasnkaya who looked murderous. "What did the scarecrow do?" he asked.
Koyanskaya gritted her teeth before wiping her tears away, "I caught him kissing that slutty sea nymph that works for the old man." she said.
Naruto sighed, "Of course." he muttered.
While Gynecaladriel could be blamed for the men "cheating" on Koyanskaya. She doesn't exactly have a lot charming abilities. So she just relies on beauty and charisma. Even then, she's just an open door for random hook ups and doesn't exactly invite people over. So it the pink kitsune thought it was a waste of time to deal with Gynecaladriel herself. Instead, choosing to deal with Kakashi and Yamato as they lakced real will power.
"I'll call the judge." Naruto said before Koyanskaya latched onto him in a hug.
"Thank you nii-chan, you're so nice." Koyanskaya said as she continued to cry. "Don't you dare cheat on my sister." she said.
"I won't." Naruto immediately responded.
Then Rem came out with Hinata and Naegi in her arms, "Lady Koyasnkaya, you may want to tone it down with the heavy weapons. The ears of your infants are very sensitive." she said.
'That's the least of anyone's worries.' Naruto thought as his niece and nephew whined. 'Hopefully we can get that magic circle to Makai running in the next few days.' he thought as he focused back on his siblings.
Who mysteriously disappeared while he was dealing with his sister-in-law.
"You can run all you want, but I can smell your fear." Naruto said out loud before looking for the twins.
The next day, at the village gate
Luckily for the twins, they don't have to do training today. Instead, they have been assigned to join Jiraiya on a mission to find Tsunade Senju. It was random, but Jiraiya thought it would be a good time to further the training of his godchildren. Though the kids had less to worry about as Jiraiya is very laid back as a trainer despite being a bit critical. Now, the pair were at the gate with Jiraiya and ready to leave.
After Kushina finishes giving her rant.
"…and no research! None!" Kushina yelled at Jiraiya.
"Well if you want to ruin the economy. That's on you Kushina." Jiraiya said.
"Your books are not an important resource contributing to the economy!" Kushina argued.
"Whatever, besides the brats need some time outside. To get a better view of the world." Jiraiya said as Kushina checked on them one more time.
"Remember what I said you two. Don't do anything stupid and don't let Jiraiya do anything stupid." Kushina said.
"It's only insults with you isn't it Kushina?" Jiraiya asked with a sigh.
"Do something worth more of my respect and there won't be any insults at all." Kushina replied.
With that settled, Jiraiya left on to find his former teammate. Leaving Kushina behind to wish her children good luck. All the while looking up as another airship flew over the wall.
"I wonder if we'll get one of those fancy machines in the future." Kushina said to herself.
Back in the village, some time later
In the shopping center that Momon managed to purchase and rebuild to add business to her revenue. Momon was sitting in her office watching over the surveillance of the mall she created. Watching as very few people shop as there were still some people mourning the loss of their shinobi along with some still feeling shaken from the attack. Momon can understand people feeling that way, but wasn't very empathetic enough to act like a warm motherly figure.
Regardless, she witched her live feed to her businesses in Makai. With Greyfarn and everyone doing their best make a proper doorway back to Makai. Momon had been feeling slightly concerned with things going on back at home. Even with the arrival of her grandson's military forces, there was the fact that anyone can come to the Elemental Nations but not return yet.
"Good news Momon!" Greyfarn said as he arrived.
"Is it real good news or did you make a useless invention again?" Momon asked without looking at her ex.
"The death sun dial is not useless! It is very monumental! A sign of evolution!" Greyfarn exclaimed. Only to calm down soon after, "But no, that's not what I'm here about." He said.
"Then why are you here?" Momon asked as she gestured to Walt to get the trapdoor button ready.
"I managed to get into contact with my colleague, Greystash. Not only that, but he managed to help me find a way to create a two way doorway." Greyfarn said as Momon gestured for the button to be put away. "However, this will take some time and a llot of power." Momon gestured for the button to be prepared again.
Greyfarn proceeded to pull out a small chalkboard and showed some small drawings of the experiment. Which Momon did not understand except for the part about lots of energy. When it ended, Greyfarn pulled out a box full of various contraptions and devices.
"Now then, the current tasks we can do is finding a safe and secure location to set up the gateway." Greyfarn said enthusiastically.
"Good to hear Hubert." Momon said in a sweet manner. "Igner! Larry! Go help your father set up the portal in the basement!" she commanded.
"Yes ma'am." both men replied as they followed their father.
Meanwhile Walt just looked at the chalkboard that Greyfarn left behind, "Are you sure the basement is a safe place to install a trans-dimensional wormhole mother?" he asked.
Momon scoffed, "That wimp that gave birth to my grandson does it all the time with his fancy knives." she said.
Walt thought about that fact, 'His complex technique is fascinating and powerful, but that's not the same as a wormhole. That's just breaking the boundaries of transportation.' he thought. 'Still, there was another term for that. What was it now?' he mentally asked.
"Walt, I don't pay you to think. Didn't I give you another task to work on?" Momon asked angrily as Walt ran like a coward.
In the mall
With her twins gone, Kushina decided to spend the afternoon with her daughter-in-law. Which allowed her to look around the new stores to buy things for her grandchildren. It may feel selfish to focus only on them after a crisis had just been overturned, but Kushina could never help but to dote on the newborns. The woman was weak around them and just wanted to spoil them badly.
"Kushina-sama, I think you should avoid getting a bit excessive." Yasaka said as Kushina was looking all over the children's isles.
"There is no such thing Yasaka-chan." Kushina said as she looked over various racks. "Do you think these pajamas are too big for Ichigo? He looks a bit skinny." she asked.
Yasaka sighed as she looked at her babies, "I don't think he's too thin. Kairi on the other hand might be the same." she said.
"Do you think they are underweight Yasaka-sama?" Tohru asked.
"The doctor said they were fine. Both are only a month old so far." Yasaka said before hearing Momon's mechanical security force coming to life.
"What's going on? Are they switching for maintenance?" Tohru asked as the machines started moving.
As they automatons continued to move around. They started lightning up as if they were preparing for a fight. The sight alone made Tohru get defensive as if someone was threatening her group.
"Is something the matter Tohru?" Yasaka asked.
"Something isn't right." Tohru said with narrowed eyes.
Elsewhere in the mall
The Akatsuki had arrived, though it appears that curiosity brought them here rather than the jinchuriki. Looking confused, Kisame was wondering what this place was as itachi also felt confused. Both feeling like they were lost tourists instead of outlaws.
"I thought you knew this place well Itachi. What's with the fancy building and that sensitive security outside?" Kisame asked.
"I do not know quite frankly. I think they remodeled." Itachi said as they sneaked around.
The mall was practically desolate with recent events. Yet, this place looked like a hollow labyrinth. With a lot of capitalism and flashy stores with so many products to sell to the sheeple. Itachi shrugged it off as he didn't have time for fancy marketplaces. At least until he heard some terrible singing.
"What is that racket?" Kisame asked.
The pair looked around until they walked towards a store, where they found Killer Bee trying on some new sunglasses.
"Can you take a hint? Because this is a cool tint, fool ya fool." Killer Bee said.
"We should really catch up with boss." Darui said as he was with Killer Bee.
"Yo, you need to learn to be mellow. Relax a bit and be a fellow. Bro can is busy with the flash man. Now where did I put my cash?" Killer Bee asked as he looked for his wallet.
"There's a special sale if you want another accessory. We got gloves of all kind. 30% off, limited time only." The cashier said.
Killer Bee nodded, "Nice, I saw some some nice leather gloves over there." he said.
Darui sighed, "So dull." he muttered.
Kisame felt awkward, "We found a jinchuriki." he said. "Do we engage?" he asked.
"I would prefer we go in a more open space. The hachibi jinchuriki is said to be in full control of his bijuu and being the brother of the Raikage who respects strength only suggests more of his potential capability." Itachi explained.
Before Kisame said anything, several of the automatons arrived. The machines locked onto the pair before the data in their heads started to scan their uniforms.
"Warning: Dangerous criminals detected. One unknown potential terrorist and one Hot Topic employee." the lead machine said.
"What the heck is Hot Topic?" Kisame asked.
When he suddenly noticed a store with the same name across from them. Kisame stifled a laugh as all he could see was a bunch clothes and accessories for punks and emos. Along with overall darker art styles not meant for typical people with brighter personalities.
"Why yes, my partner does work at Hot Topic." Kisame said as Itachi frowned.
"Kisame, now is a bad time for jokes." Itachi said before trying to use a genjutsu on the machines.
Which results in the automatons firing pellets at the pair. Causing both missing ninja to start running as they were now a part of the public eye. Most of the group continued to open fire as the two continued to run.
"Command: Put an emergency alert for shoppers." The lead machine commanded.
Back with Kushina's group
Kushina put down a big pile of clothes, "I'll take these for my twin grandchildren please." she said.
The cashier nods, "Got it, more clothes for an overpopulated planet." they said.
Before any purchases could be finalized, they loud speaker was heard.
"Attention all shoppers, due to the sudden appearance of dangerous criminals and a wild Hot Topic employee. We ask all of you to take shelter as security automatons attempt to disable them. As to avoid any loss of civilian life." The loud speaker said.
"Wait what?" Tohru asked.
"Momon Corporation is not responsible for any fool running into the crossfire and not liable to any damages." The loud speaker adds.
"That's good to know." Tohru said sarcastically.
"Here's your bag miss." the cashier said as Kushina started to pay.
"Still, that's not good. Tohru, can you take a look?" Yasaka asked.
The dragon girl saluted Yasaka, "Yes ma'am, it's probably just some random thugs." she said as she walked out of the store. "They can't be that far if the whole mall security is after the." she said as she looked around.
When she saw various automatons firing nearby. Causing Itachi to run up the upper floor where Tohru stood. Despite Itachi's infamy for slaughtering most of his clan. He didn't want to add needless casualties of civilians to his infamy. So he tried to avoid Tohru until she revealed her tail and tried to hit him. Resulting in Tohru shattering the floor where Itachi stood as he leaped over her.
Tohru turned her head and refused to let him get away. As her face turned more reptilian, Tohru unleashed a giant gust of fire at Itachi. Which he tried to counter with his own technique.
"Amaterasu!" He yelled as black flames came out from his eye.
Luckily for the Uchiha, Tohru didn't want to accidentally destroy the mall. As Itachi's limited space would not be enough to attempt to counter the wave of flames. Still, he managed to escape in a shunshin of feathers while Tohru was blindsided by the flames.
"Hey! Where did that chicken go!?" Tohru asked angrily as more automatons moved over her.
Suddenly Kushina ran out of the store with her sword drawn, "Was that Itachi!?" she asked.
Towards the exit
As Itachi suddenly found the mall to be crowded. Kisame soon arrived after being kicked by Killer Bee who was in his chakra cloak.
"Octopi eat sharks fool!" Killer Bee yelled.
After causing a ruckus with security earlier. Killer Bee thought the Akatsuki pair were some random gang thugs and chased them. Thinking it would be a good way to help relations in this time of conflict. Now Darui was forced to come along as he saw more risk in this situation.
"The Hachibi is as tough as you said. Still, I wouldn't mind a good fight if we had the time." Kisame said.
"Too bad, we're leaving." Itachi said as he grabbed Kisame and transported him outside.
"Hey that ain't fair. We gotta go after that pair, wee!" Killer Bee yelled as the security automatons arrived.
"Analysis: Criminals are still at large. Present the 10% coupon to the concerned customers." the leader said.
One of the automatons printed out a coupon and handed it to Killer Bee, "Sweet, but bro is probably going to want to hear about this." he said.
"I doubt those two were ordinary thugs. The boss is going to want answers, this is so dull." Darui said.
At the gate
With things having calmed down. The twin doors of the village gate was finally put back together. As well as having been improved by some synergists as to keep them from being destroyed easily again. Now, village shinobi were taking back control as Naruto's forces were preparing to leave at any day. Only working to support against any potential threat.
Which didn't help Itachi and Kisame were trying to escape the village. Forcing them to go through the gate as Momon's orcs started chasing them once the security automatons reported them.
"What the hell are those?" Izumo asked.
"We've seen some weird figures already. That guy over there has a lizard head for crying out. How is this any more weird?" Kotetsu asked.
"Get ready!" an ANBU captain yelled.
Every shinobi got into their positions and started throwing kunai and shuriken as the Akatsuki pair arrived. Only to miss each time and backing off as Itachi released a fire ball to cover his escape. Though not without the orcs firing a volley of arrows as the two started making a lot of distance from the village.
"What is this weird security Itachi? How long have you been gone?" Kisame asked as they kept running from the arrows.
"Just keep running!" Itachi said as Konoha was too hot for them to search.
Only to find Might Guy running at the opposite direction of them, "I got you now!" he yelled.
"Kisame keep running!" Itachi ordered as he knew Guy is very powerful despite using only Taijutsu.
Unaware that Guy was talking to himself and referring to his personal track record. Where he narrowly missed the two Akatsuki members who escaped. He wasn't made aware of them until one of the orcs ran up to him.
"Crap, the criminals escaped." the orc said.
"Eh? What criminals my oddly shaped friend?" Guy asked before hearing the Orc explain things. "Hm, nope haven't seen them." Guy said as his lack of perception has failed him.
With Naruto
Naruto stood with Arachne as they spoke to Kuroka while she was in cat form. At the same time, they looked at one one of the magic mirrors that revealed Itachi and Kisame's escape.
"These two are with the terrorist group Jiraiya-san mentioned?" Naruto asked.
"Nyah, that's them. Don't let the walking can of tuna and goth fool you. These guys are tough and serious about their job." Kuroka said as she stretched her body. "They are running away to avoid getting too much attention. I guess they want those bijuu things without running into trouble." she explained.
"Have they explained to you what they need these bijuu for?" Arachne asked.
Kuroka sighed, "I wish, they still don't trust me. I guess they want me to work as a scout or something.
Naruto started to ponder this, "Then my siblings are in danger." he said.
"Why do you say that, your majesty?" Kuroka asked.
"The power in them somehow spread into me at birth before I disappeared. It's safe to say that my power alone made me a threat for upper class monsters weaker than Tohru. Still, obtaining such creatures when there's more than one is not a good thing." Naruto explained.
"So you best try to learn the goal of this Akatsuki group as soon as possible." Arachne said.
Kuroka saluted with her paw, "Sure thing your majesty. Anything else you want me to tell you?" she asked.
"I have a suggestion, what about their members? Who are they or at least, what do they look like and what powers do they have?" Arachne asked as Naruto found interest in this.
Kuroka giggled, "Well I'm the only female, scratch that actually. I'm the only attractive and strong female." she said.
"Be serious." Naruto demanded as Kuroka shivered.
"Yes sir." Kuroka said as she gave into his authority.
While Kuroka revealed the little bit of information she knew. Naruto had also started to plan out a way to help Arashi and Mito while they were with Jiraiya. From what Naruto could understand, Orochimaru was once a part of Akatsuki and briefly worked with them as a form of protection as they are all S Class criminals like himself. At the same time, the Akatsuki are said to have members far stronger than Orohimaru himself. Even with the recent training, Naruto still had doubts that Arashi and Mito could defeat Orochimaru.
Three days later, with the twins
While keeping Jiraiya from giving into his vices (i.e. drinking and women), the twins made good distance and Jiraiya was able to gain some information about Tsunade. As she was recently seen in a nearby town taking part in some casinos. Which Jiraiya decided to mention that Tsunade is very infamous for losing quite often at the casinos. Which unfortunately left her in great debt to many creditors who are still seeking her out.
"And that's why she's called the Legendary Sucker." Jiraiya said as he finished his tale.
"That's not a good title and it can give the wrong idea you pervert." Arashi said.
"Also, what's so great about your real titles. Tou-san said that you gained it after losing and being spared in a fight." Mito said.
Jiraiya grumbled, "Kids know no respect for their elders and hardships." he muttered.
"Kaa-chan is right, do something impressive and we'll respect you." Mito said as Jiraiya started to feel more annoyed.
"Then how about you learn patience instead of hating on everything? Then you will learn to appreciate the smallest things." Jiraiya suggested.
"Like what?" Arashi asked.
"Like nature." Jiraiya answered.
"Boring." Arashi said.
Jiraiya shook his head, "I'm telling the truth this time. Even if my training is still incomplete, I had to learn patience and connect with nature to learn senjutsu." he explained. "That alone is something very difficult that many people tried and failed. It's not like a high ranking jutsu where you need to learn control and have good reserves." he continued to explain.
"Fine, we'll respect nature." Arashi said with a frown.
The trio continued to travel for about another hour before taking a break by a nearby lake. After unpacking and taking the time to relax, Arashi decided to get some time for himself. A good chance to relieve all of the recent stress he built up without Mito judging him. That and there are no toilets nearby so he made sure to move somewhere where no one could see him.
Then run so no one can blame him for any large droppings. However, while he was getting his business done. Arashi found something that made him release even more droppings.
"What the hell? Can't I answer nature's call in nature without running into mystical creatures?" Arashi whispered to himself.
First, Arashi had to deal with the random Kusa ninja who attacked him while he urinated before Orochimaru attacked. Now, there's some scary giant dark knight with purple flames in wondering around the woods. Even worse, he was dragging two young girls that he chained up. Arashi sighed as he quickly cleaned himself up and prepared to go bother his godfather and sister.
As Arashi left, the dark knight quickly separated the girls and stuck nails onto two separate trees. Where he hanged both girls by their chains onto the trees. As both were left helpless, the dark knight moved some rocks and sat down as to rest for a while. It wouldn't take too long before Arashi dragged Jiraiya and Mito with him.
"You have to be kidding me." Mito said with a sigh.
"Hm, that indeed does look tough. Still, nothing the Gallant Jiraiya and his sidekicks cannot handle." Jiraiya said as both kids sighed at his antics.
"Any suggestions ero-sennin?" Arashi asked.
"First, don't call me that. Second, I recommend a taking seriously as that dark and visible aura isn't just for show. Thirdly, try to stagger him. He's big, but he's probably not fast or flexible." Jiraiya said as the knight looked tough but not invincible.
"Okay, but should we distract it? The girls might get hurt." Mito suggested as Jiraiya nodded.
"That's right, there's no telling what that thing is wants, but it might resort to using hostages like a coward." Jiraiya said before pulling the kids away.
As the trio tried to formulate a plan. The dark knight started to stand up and get into a defensive stance. As it heard the shouting of an old man and the cries of a wild animal.
"Not there Pazuzu and also put Igner down. I only have three sons available and do not need Cubert taking Igner's place." said the withered voice of Greyfarn.
Suddenly, the dark knight found a large gargoyle crashing into him. With Igner hanging on from the mouth and Greyfarn slipping off from the saddle. Causing the dark knight to crash through several trees and land in the open. Where Jiraiya and the twins were still planning out their attack.
"I guess that sort of works." Jiraiya said before forming a Rasengan in his palm.
"Thanks for bringing out the dark knight jiji!" Arashi yelled as he drew his sword.
"The whaaat?" Greyfarn asked before cleaning his glasses. "Oh yes, the dark knight. What? A dark knight?" he asked with surprise.
"Papa, we crashed into a tin man again. Only this one is still alive and super scary." Igner said.
"Why yes we did Igner. Now in this type of situation, it always proper to make him keep quiet." Greyfarn said before firing his staff at the dark knight as if it were a gun.
"Rasengan!" Jiraiya yelled as he slammed his jutsu into the dark knight's chest as it stood up.
Both attacks causing the dark knight to stagger, but not wounding him in any way. Followed by Arashi slashing at him with a water breathing technique with Igner bashing his own sword at the knee of the knight. The dark knight scoffed at the combined assault on his body before kicking them all away.
"Fools, such weapons are weak and I am immune to most magics." the dark knight said.
"Oh my, we might have use brute force then. That or magic that isn't primarily for assault." Greyfarn said before hitting the ground with his staff. Resulting in several roots from the ground to pop out and restrain the knight, "Quick, hit him while he can't fight back. Maybe check his wallet while you're at it!" he commanded.
Igner continued to bash his sword against the dark knight. Distracting the dark knight long enough for the twins to create an army of Shadow Clones. All of which started to surround the dark knight and slash his entire body with their swords. With the real pair combining their chakra and creating a giant Rasengan and slamming it into the dark knight, causing him to collapse again.
"You're up ero-sennin!" Mito yelled.
"Then get back! Earth Style: Swamp of the Underworld!" Jiraiya yelled as he trapped the dark knight in a large sticky swamp.
"Summoning Jutsu!" Arashi yells as he summoned a medium sized frog. "Hey big guy, do you think you can cover that creepy thing with oil?" he asked while pointing at the dark knight.
The toad summon did not question the situation and did as requested. Where it released a heavy amount of oil at the dark knight as it struggled to escape the swamp. The dark knight was confused by the strange techniques of the shinobi before finding a giant amount of fire being released from Jiraiya's mouth.
"Fire Style: Flame Bullet!" he yelled.
The dark knight sank deeper into the swamp, but still looked barely wounded. Still, it only kept the dark knight in place as he tried to swing at Igner who barely got out of the swamp.
"I guess we'll have to drown it if jutsus are not enough." Jiraiya said as he jumped into the air with several Shadow Clones of the twins. "All at once!" he yelled.
"Rasengan!" they yelled together.
Greyfarn raised up a barrier to protect himself in the resulting explosion as the Rasengan's impact shattered the outer layer of the dark knight's armor. Leaving it open for Mito to stab her armor through the cracks while channelling all of the fire she could muster. While still knowing that a jutsu would be ineffective against her foe, Mito believed that there was a chance that she could create internal damage against the dark knight.
Which worked and caused the dark knight to explode, sending her flying back. With the dark knight breaking down and disappearing upon it's death.
"That thing was tough!" Mito commented.
Jiraiya sighed, "It sure was. That thing had to be at least high B maybe low A rank in danger." he said.
Then Greyfarn spoke up, "That reminds me, I was here to warn you all. Back in the village, there was a…"
"The girls! We gotta save them!" Arashi interrupted as he ran back into the forest.
"No not that! Damn, what was it I was going to say?" Greyfarn asked.
"A rogue Hot Topic employee is on the loose papa." Igner said.
"A whaaat?" Greyfarn asked.
A few minutes later
After looking around in the forest, Arashi found the twin girls and gently took them down from their bondage. After staying with them for a moment, the girl with the closed floral ornament had awakened.
"Hi there, how are you feeling?" Arashi asked.
"Where am I?" the girl asked before noticing her twin. "Luna!" she cried out.
"Well you're in this forest and we beat that scary knight. It wasn't easy though." Arashi said.
"You defeated the Shadow Knight?" the girl asked.
"Yeah, anyways I'm Arashi and my sister and godfather are still outside for some reason." Arashi explained.
"I see, I'm sorry I know you already helped us with the Shadow Knight, but can you help carry Luna for me? She's still very unconscious." the girl asked.
Arashi nodded, "Sure thing." he said.
"Thank you, I'm Sora by the way and this is my little sister Luna." Sora said as Arashi gently picked up Luna.
Back outside
With Greyfarn giving Jiraiya the warning of the Akatsuki as well as handing him a bag of mystery items. The elderly wizard grabbed Igner and started flying back to Konoha. Leaving Jiraiya to think over the situation with the Akatsuki. Only being broken from his thoughts when Arashi came out of the forest while carrying Luna with Sora following closely behind him.
"I see you guys are being useful." Arashi said sarcastically.
"Arashi! You truly are my pupil! Not even thinking twice to go back and save the damsels!" Jiraiya yelled loud enough for Luna to wake up.
"What is that noise?" Luna muttered.
"Luna!" Sora cried out.
"Sora? What happened?" Luna asked.
"A Shadow Knight attacked us and managed to somehow disable you. He threatened me not to follow him or else he would kill you, but I did anyways." Sora said looking a bit sad.
"What's wrong with that? Family always comes first." Arashi asked.
Sora sighed, "I… can't explain it. Not here." she said.
Luna suddenly looked wide eyed as she realized her predicament, "Um Sora, are these humans?" she asked.
This caught Mito's attention, "We are, are you two not humans?" she asked making them go silent and anxious.
"And there it is! My master story!" Jiraiya yelled.
"What's wrong with him?" Sora asked.
Jiraiya suddenly made a stupid pose, "In my tale, the hero Storm rescues the damsel, Sona, with help from his cute little sister, Mimi." he starts to explain. "The three grow close, yet Sona and Storm blossom into romance, but it's briefly cut short by the tragic death of Mimi!" he exclaimed.
Mito groaned, "Shut up pervert!" She yelled.
"Oh no! Not Mimi!" Luna yelled, already forgetting about her situation.
"When the king of monsters is defeated, the hero and heroine lament on the losses. Choosing to never forget Mimi as they begin their new life together!" Jiraiya finished.
Arashi started crying tears of sadness, "No, Mimi can't die!" he cried.
"Poor Mimi! I'll name my firstborn child after her!" Luna exclaimed as she hugged Arashi very tightly.
"Luna, Arashi-san, that was just a story." Sora said as she sweat dropped at their reactions.
"And stop writing you pervert! It's bad enough that you put me in your porn, now you killed me off!" Mito yelled angrily.
"It's entertainment sweat heart, I don't write fairy tales for babies." Jiraiya responded as he tried to keep his notepad away from Mito.
Leaving Sora to sigh to herself, "Wherever I am, it would be best to follow these strangers for a while." she said as everyone suddenly forgot about the Shadow Knight.
Back in Konoha, with Naruto
Looking at the portal that Greyfarn installed and got ready. She watched as Naruto and Vali came out looking satisfied.
"The portal works, albeit it leads to the central transport station." Naruto said.
"Yeah, now all the old man has to do is adjust it so the military can fly back." Vali said.
"Good, I think my great granddaughter has been away from school long enough. Let's also forget those whiny Melromarc soldiers and their politic junk." Momon said.
Naruto nodded, "I can get them a special transport ready. Especially for the prisoners." he said as a third figure came out.
"'Sup." the man said.
"And what is this? A newt?" Momon asked.
"I'm Chaz, but with five Z's. I'm here to treat the sick patients." Chazzzzz answered.
"Oh good, you can cure the stupidis or whatever it's called." Momon said.
"I can, either with my special relaxation method or with time. Whichever comes first." Chazzzzz replied, though his methods are considered less than humane.
"Good, I'll have Larry lead you to the patients." Momon said as her middle child lead Chazzzzz to Motoyasu and the others. "Now then, were you able to get into contact with Makai?" she asked.
"Yes, though it appeared that Adrian already arrived first with his own methods." Naruto said.
"Freaking Adrian, just leaving ahead of time without letting us know how." Vali muttered.
"It was a simple reverse transportation spell. Though his took a lot more energy and it was still relatively fresh due how long it's been since we opened our own portals." Naruto explained.
"I think you forget that some of us were forcefully dragged here, yourself included." Momon said as she gave Naruto a critical stare.
Vali laughed, "Grandma is mad at you." He teased.
"I am angry at both of you!" Momon yelled as she slapped him.
"Ouch! You only slapped me!" Vali whined.
"Grow up, I slap you all the time." Momon said to her adoptive grandson. "Anyways, Greyfarn better come back soon. We need to get everything moving along." she said.
"That reminds me, I managed to also get into contact with the Sorcerer King." Naruto mentioned.
"Oh yeah? Why?" Momon asked.
"I gave him the tool that was used to summon me here and the genius he is. Lord Ooal Gown proved his skill and knowledge and found the potential origins." Naruto explained.
"Don't leave me in suspense." Momon said.
"I had my doubts, but Lord Ooal Gown is no liar or trickster. For he said that the tool was likely made by the faction that once worked under Graf Dumas." Naruto said shocking the pair.
Momon narrowed her eyes, "I'm tripling security when I make it back to headquarters." she said.
The next morning
Minato looked at the documents on his desk, "So your friend Alucard managed to reverse transport himself? If you wanted to head back to the other world, couldn't you and Vali have done the same?" he asked curiously.
"Yes, if we followed Adrian. However, using the portals we brought were far different." Naruto began to explain. "Mine was different in a way different from merely teleporting like you do with the Hiraishin. Unlike Vali and the military, who arrived her on purpose. Though they would have had an equally better chance of leaving within a period of 12 to 24 hours as the transportation circle is more fresh but less likely to function after that." he finished.
"So in other words, you needed to the essence or the signature left behind while it was still new." Minato retorted.
"Pretty much, but now we can work on a new transport. Which is why I want this treaty set up before any wild announcements are made. I think the villagers are already suspicious of the fact that my subordinates are not like typical humans or people with rare bloodlines from another continent." Naruto explained.
Minato nodded, "I was hoping to avoid that, but the truth has to come out someday." he said knowing how difficult it was to understand this fact and keep a tight leash around the council about this matter. "Still, Kushina will likely volunteer herself as ambassador or liaison to stay close to you and the little ones." he said.
"I will accept that, so long as it doesn't inconvenience you." Naruto said as he also didn't want to break ties with his mother after recently returning to her.
"Anyways, when will you make your official return? I'm assuming your capital will have some grand festival." Minato joked.
"Very likely." Naruto answered with no enthusiasm.
"Then I'll get the proper documentation ready and council will need to approve on all of this." Minato said as he started grabbing some documents. "Hey by the way, do you also deal with paperwork?" he asked.
"Yes, but there's a giant bureaucracy with their own duties. I may have last say in nearly everything, but there are more qualified individuals for smaller tasks and different divisions." Naruto explained.
"Lucky." Minato said while crying anime tears.
'Paperwork will be the least of my issues when I return home.' Naruto thought as he exited the office.
With The Imposter Goddess
The Goddess claiming to be Aphrodite sat on her couch while enjoying the finest meals served by her servants. When she was alerted about an important guest's arrival. The imposter sighed as she sent her guest away while a portal opened up revealing a man with blond hair, damaged armor and a silver face mask that covered the upper half of his eyes.
"What do you want Graf?" the woman asked.
"I think you need a lesson in manners." the man said.
The impostor gritted her teeth, "How may I serve you, Sir Dumas?" she asked.
The armored man stood forward, "I need you to move your heroes. The fools in Falmuth are growing unstable and will destroy themselves before my goals are met." he said.
"Oh? What happened to the heroes in Falmuth?" the goddess asked.
"Two of them are deceased. Slain by the hands of two of the emperors and the third retreated with what was left of Falmuth. At least the heroes of Melromarc are still alive along with the avatar of Medea." Graf explained.
"Too bad, I know that old hag would be infuriated if her avatar died." the goddess said with a smirk.
"While it is no hinderance to the other goddess. You would best stay away from directly effecting Princess Malty." Graf Dumas suggested.
The goddess crossed her arms in an uncaring manner, "As if that hag would strike me. She is not long for this world with that petty vendetta of hers. All this destruction for one man she doesn't even know." she said while sitting back. "Here I thought the Witch of Envy was an annoying brat. Yet it seems like it takes another jealous brat to end her existence along with her tea party." she said bitterly.
"The Witches of Sin were a powerful group. Even I doubt that I could have defeated them alone. Listen to me well, when I tell you not challenge Medea Pideth Machina." Graf said warning her.
The goddess scoffed, "And why should I do that? I have powers that would strike any god with terror." she said before flicking her hair to the side. "I think this partnership of ours is coming to a close." she said.
A strange energy started to release itself from Graf Dumas, "When that time comes, you will be nothing more than a decrepit wrinkled bag of leather. Ready to turn into dust at any point." he said as the miasma he released made the goddess choke.
The goddess winced as she felt her throat close up, "I see… perhaps I'm being too hasty again." she said before Graf let go of her.
"Now then, I think should the worst come. You may have have to give a false blessing to one the other so called heroes or anyone with real strength." Graf said.
The goddess nodded, "Fine, but I choose. I do not want another disgusting Hugo Baint… whatever his name was." she said.
"If they have some level intelligence rather than the same level of vanity as yourself. They will work." Graf said.
"Is that all you came to tell me? Command me to move your chest pieces and then insult me?" the goddess said before feeling pain again.
"It is not an insult but rather a reminder of where you belong in this partnership. Think of it as a peerage, if you do as you are told and gain positive result. Then you may move up from your false throne." Graf said before disappearing.
Leaving the fake goddess to snarl in anger, "I hate that man! I need to claim more gods and special indvidual and destroy that filthy ugly… AUGH!" she couldn't find the words to express her hatred.
Instead, choosing to toss over a platter and summon a magic mirror. Where she started to manipulate the individuals carrying her blessing to move as she was told. Only in a different manner.
"You want heroes? I'll give you heroes!" the goddess growled. Before smirking as she looked at another mirror, "But first, I think I should put that pope down. His voice sickens me and the last thing I need is for him to attack my pantheons next. Sacrilegious entitled fool, moving through his own church because he failed at gaining a real job." she said before releasing a lot of magic onto Pope Balmus.
The goddess laughed as her curse started to take effect.
At the Church of the Three Heroes
Balmus was screaming as his followers were all being attacked by some sort of plague. Everyone's skin was bubbling up like hot tar. Yet their skin was turning into unnatural colors with their features looking less than human. Many grabbed onto their religious pendants related to the church. Hoping, rather begging, for safety or at least release from their suffering.
"What is happening? Have we been cursed by the devil?" Balmus asked as the entire church fell apart.
He could even see some of his lower ranking subordinates trying to escape the church. As several more members let out monstrous cries. Even going as far as to grow wings and tails. This was enough to motivate Balmus to evacuate and regroup with the survivors.
"I knew it, that fool Frollo sided with the enemy. Now they have cursed us and damned us all!" Balmus yelled as he started running. When he suddenly heard gunshots in the distance, "Good, Okumura must be leading a way out." he said as he found a young man with glasses shooting at the cursed followers.
"Stand back!" Okumura yelled as he kept firing his weapon at the crowd.
"Good work Okumura! Keep suppressing the demons until we make it out!" Balmus commanded.
"Yes si- ARGH!" Okumura yelled as he fell to a single knee and clutched his chest.
"Yukio, are you injured?" one of the non cursed followers asked.
Only for Yukio to scream as blue flames surrounded his body, his ears became pointed and black arrow shaped tail coming out from behind him. One of the church followers tried to reach out and help Yukio Okumura before Balmus pulled him away.
"No, Okumura is cursed. I should have known better than to take in the child of a demon and a whore." Balmus said as Yukio turned to the pope.
"Your lordship, I can't take this anymore." Yukio said as the pain surrounded his body.
"You are on your own demon! You can stay here with your brethren!" Balmus said as he and the others ran to the exit.
"Please your lordship! I have never questioned! I always followed you when I gained a new path! I will never betray you! I promise!" Yukio pleaded ever so desperately.
Balmus glared at Yukio once more, "You were a weapon Okumura, a weaker one willed one than your demon brother. The only difference is that you were nothing more than a dog." he said as Yukio looked horrified. "Only I see there was a risk knowing you would betray your kin until your true colors showed!" He added before locking the cursed inside the building.
Yukio started to pant, "No! No I wouldn't! Rin was…" he tried to say. Suddenly, Yukio started to remember his older twin brother, "No, Rin… you felt this way and… oh no!" he started to breakdown in tears as the building started to burn.
All the while, Yukio Okumura felt the anguish of betrayal. The irony of pain he caused as he now felt it for himself.
Back in Konoha
Mikoto giggled as she watched her son train with Rin and the others. While sitting with Yasaka and Kushina, Mikoto couldn't help but wonder why Sasuke would always train with Rin when given the chance. Seeing as how Rin has a personality like Arashi that Sasuke claims to hate. So it didn't make sense for Sasuke to be patient enough to ignore this energetic behavior.
"Who is that Rin boy? There's something unique about him that makes Sasuke always want to train with him." Mikoto asked.
"Maybe because they both felt loss." Yasaka said.
"What do you mean?" Mikoto asked.
"It is not my place to say. For Rin felt a pain that no family member should." Yasaka said.
Kushina frowned, "Did he someone close to him die?" she asked.
"I won't say much without his consent, but Rin lost his mother at birth and his adoptive father only a couple of years ago." Yasaka said as both women could understand that.
"Does he have any family left?" Mikoto asked.
Yasaka closed her eyes and sighed, "Tell me Mikoto-dono, does Sasuke-san consider Itachi to be his brother?" she asked cryptically.
Mikoto bit her lip, 'I knew I shouldn't have asked.' she thought.
Meanwhile Kushina could only frown at Rin as her clan is all about loving family and having trust. It was like like committing sacrilege to disregard those beliefs in her clan. She wasn't entirely happy with what Itachi did and did not like what likely went through Rin's life. Yasaka only wondered if she said too much. She had a soft spot for people like Rin and his adoptive father is a good despite his eccentric personality. Only having met the man a couple of times and seeing he was kind if not a bit blunt and unpredictable.
All the while, Rin stood silently watching the horizon.
"Is something wrong?" Sasuke asked.
"I thought I heard my name for some reason." Rin said while having this strange sensation inside of him.
Back with the mothers, all three of them cooed as they watched Kunou gently rubbed her sleeping siblings as they slept. Giving them the comfort of a warm and safe world for them to live in. All the while Kunou had this active sense of protecting her pack as if danger could come from anywhere as her fox ears were perked up.
'No one touches my otouto and imouto.' Kunou thought while feeling protective.

NOTES: So small summary, Graf Dumas basically designed like Graf in Soul Calibur V but not the same person exactly. He has a different role and everything in the whole story. As for other antagonists, the Shield Hero Goddess is basically the foe that Graf wants to avoid while he works over the goddess. Personally, in terms of power, I've seen the Shield Hero Goddess, Medea, as probably the most powerful villain in isekai so far.
Then again, I haven't seen many. Since there's Ejit from Arifureta who's actually a coward and the Tsukimichi Goddess has a lot of ample power, but doesn't have much use for it. Meanwhile Medea was said to have destroyed other dimensions where Naofumi exists, I don't remember if that was in the light or web novel, but either way. She still has power over realities since she caused the waves. So in this story, she also wiped out the Re: ZERO witches fo Sin. Since I think even Reinhard has no defense for having his existence erased. Sure, he pulls out the ultimate plot armor but is never around to seemingly use it.
So yeah, Reinhard van Astrea fanboys… you guys might not like the fact that Medea is stronger than Reinhard. I think his only canon weakness is no defense against his soul being attacked, but no existence means no soul either so… yeah. All the Reinhard haters can rejoice that reality manipulators beat Reinhard.
One more thing, the girls that Arashi and Mito found are the same Sora and Luna from Beast Tamer. A pretty good anime if you like Banished from the Hero's Party which I also recommend. Anyways, I hope you guys all have a Merry Christman, Kwanza, Hanukkah or whatever you celebrate along with a Happy New Year.
