Chapter 9
Tanzaku Gai
Jiraiya sighed as he felt exhausted, "I swear, with all these casinos. It's going to take an eternity." he said.
"That's if Tsunade hasn't already left." Arashi said as he looked exhausted.
"I'm tired too." Luna whined as she stretched her arms.
"Look, we'll just grab some dinner and find a good hotel to rest for the night." Jiraiya said as he looked for a good place to eat.
That's when Sora had an idea, "Actually, now that I think about it." she suddenly said. "This "Tsunade" person is a doctor and she uses that energy inside of you all to heal correct?" she asked.
"Yeah, she uses iryoninjutsu." Mito answered.
"Magic medicine." Arashi said as he waved his fingers around.
Sora nodded, "Then why not just track her with that?" she asked.
"I think magic medicine is tricky to find in this new land sister." Luna said.
"Not magic medicine, we find the doctor's energy signature. Chakra is the same in terms of principle and overall function. So, maybe I can differentiate her signature." Sora explained.
Jiraiya actually agreed with this, "That actually might work. That's a perfect idea!" he said.
"How so?" Mito asked.
Jiraiya grinned, "Tsunade's lineage isn't just being the Shodaime's granddaughter because the Shodaime is married to an Uzumaki. You brats know that your lineage also comes with a lot of chakra. Kushina alone already had low jounin level reserves when she was an academy student." he explained.
"Stalker." Arashi said.
"I'm not a stalker!" Jiraiya barked as Uzumaki clan knowledge was pretty common back then. "Anyways, even in her age. Tsunade still has a lot. It should be easy to find a giant beacon of chakra among civilians and upstarts." he explained.
Mito smiled, "That's the sage we wanted to see." she said as Jiraiya gave her a thumbs up. "Not that annoying perverted personality from before." she said.
"I have to agree." Sora said as Jiraiya face faulted.
"Just get to work." Jiraiya said.
A few minutes later
Hiding in a nearby forest, Sora extended her wings revealing her fairy heritage. After managing to find the courage to explain who she and her sister were. Sora explained her situation prior to being captured and was lucky that her new friend group were understanding. The twins more so than Jiraiya who still couldn't understand all of this fantasy nonsense.
However, Luna decided to blurt out their powers and abilities. One of which being able to track energy signatures to detect other individuals. Now, Sora was scouring the town for big chakra reserves.
"It's so foreign, but I can see it." Sora said as large orbs appeared in front of her.
"Those big ones must be yours and Mito's right?" Luna asked as she looked at Arashi.
Arashi nodded, "Yeah and the slightly smaller one is ero-sennin's." he said.
"Just look for one similar to the smaller one Sora." Luna said as Sora concentrated.
After a few minutes, Sora found her, "I think this is her." she said as she lead the way.
Only to find themselves in a bar, "I don't think we have IDs to prove ourselves." Luna said.
Despite their appearances, Sora and Luna are actually very old. Like most species who are often powerful, they have longevity that outlasts even the healthiest Uzumaki clan members. The two girls alone already predate Konoha's founding two times over. Though they did lack the proof as both looked like they were around Kunou's age.
"Relax, we won't be here long." Jiraiya said. "Listen just go get a table and you can order anything... Tsunade!" he shouts as he spots his teammate.
The group then faces a beautiful woman with the appearance of an adult in her 20s along with another woman and a pig.
"I thought she was supposed to be old." Luna whispered.
"We're four times Jiraiya-san's age and you're questioning a human? Did you forget our own circumstances?" Sora asked as Luna looked at her own body.
"I'm hungry." Arashi said as he picked up a menu and ignored the situation.
Sora sweat dropped as everyone forgot the mission at hand.
The Next Morning, Konoha
While the village is still on high alert from the invasion and presence of missing ninja. Naruto had left with a couple of guards and Diablo to establish a new portal leading straight to Makai in one of the central cities. Leaving Kushina and the rest to take care of Yasaka and her children. Of course, Kushina would try to spend more time with her grandchildren which let her shirk her household duties as Tohru and the sisters pretty much maintain the cleanliness of the house during their stay.
"You are very smart for your age Kunou-chan." Kushina complimented as she helped her granddaughter with studying.
"Thank you for helping me obaa-sama." Kunou replied.
"Oh you don't need to thank me. Now, let's get this next page done and I can make you some treats." Kushina said as she motivated her granddaughter.
As the two continued Kunou's studies. Yasaka was putting up with her two newborns who were quite fussy. While she enjoyed motherhood quite a bit, it didn't help that she also had to keep an eye on her two nephews as her sister left them with her. Apparently the pink kitsune was working on a getting a lawyer because her "mates" had "betrayed" her.
'I swear sister, you can never stay out of trouble. How did you even enter this realm the first time?' Yasaka thought as her sister is quite the troublemaker.
At least Naegi and Hinata were already asleep. In a deep rest that their fox ears can drown out the sounds of Ichigo and Kairi's baby talk. At least that is what Yasaka calls the strange sounds her children are making. However, anything could happen in such a peaceful day. Namely, starting the day with a loud knock on the door that surprised Ichigo. Making the boy sound confused as he tried to look for the sound that grabbed his attention.
"I'll get that." Ram said as she opened the door.
Where she found Might Guy smiling at her, "Hello young lady, is Kushina-san here on this youthful morning?" she asked.
Ram turned her head around, "Kushina-sama, there's a strange animal in a green outfit asking for you." she said as Kushina arrived.
"Thank you Ram, also Guy is not an animal he's…" Kushina took a minute to look at Guy's smiling form. "I'm not exactly sure what he is." she whispered.
"Good morning Kushina-san, I have a scroll addressed to you. Kakashi was meant to come instead, but he's hiding for reasons I have yet to be notified of." Guy happily explained.
"Thank you Guy." Kushina said as she accepted the scroll.
"By the way, I couldn't help but notice as I arrived, but the strange security you have here have been training some of the genin." Guy said.
"Oh them? It's a long story, but they work for an important guest." Kushina said as she hasn't publicly mentioned Naruto's return. "Though, they are a friend of the family and some of these fine people found interest in helping Kakashi-kun's team along with their classmates." she explained.
"I see, I wouldn't suppose it would be okay if I asked them for a team training?" Guy asked.
Kushina shrugged, "Just ask them yourself. The feral lady, Ghislaine, is the one in charge. So speak with her." she said as Guy nodded and walked away.
Unaware that a dragon newt was following him around to asses his threat level. Kushina giggled at the sight as she closed the door.
Yasaka only sweat dropped as she saw Guy leave, "Who in the world is that strange man?" she asked.
"Might Guy, it's best not to explain who he is or why he does what he does." Kushina answered.
"Why does that sound ominous?" Yasaka asked. Kairi suddenly made a gasping noise, "And why do you sound concerned?" she asked only for Ichigo to start kicking his legs in the background.
"I'm going to miss these days." Kushina mumbled before making some snacks for Kunou.
Later that day
As the sun started to set, Yasaka and the children got some fresh air. With the infants curiously watching as everyone's training sessions were being finished up. With the present genin looking quite exhausted.
"I'm beat, I can't move anymore." Choji said as he collapsed.
Standing over him is an enormous version of Garfiel who was in his beast form. Seeing how he needed to improve next time for the next chunin exams or at least a potentially difficult mission. Choji and a couple of others tried fighting Garfiel who offered up a spar. Most likely to impress Ram with how much stronger he has gotten since they last met.
"You brats disappoint me. I wasn't even yawning when I was your ages." Garfiel said before powering down.
"Try telling that to the giant tiger guy." Choji said.
Kiba tried raising a finger, "I can turn into a giant wolf with Akamaru and even that wasn't enough." he said.
"You can't just copy the same moves. You gotta try adding some thought." Garfiel said as he walked over them.
"I need to branch out as they say, as well." Shino said as he was lying on the ground.
Garfiel scoffed, "For a insect tamer, you most of all need to make up some new moves." He said.
"Insect Tamer?" Shino asked.
"Yeah, one of those weirdos who make pacts with insects and command them to follow your instructions. Any insect works for a tamer." Garfiel said having met a few before.
"Intriguing." Shino said as the thought of controlling other insects sounded exciting.
"Now Shino really wants to study bugs some more." Kiba said as he rolled his eyes.
"Hey Shino, if you become one of those. Can you tell some bees to give me some honey? My aunt has been working on a new recipe and it needs lots of honey." Choji asked.
"Your request will be put up into consideration." Shino answered.
Garfiel looked disgusted, "There are some bugs you will never want to meet." he said before walking away.
"I suppose a good beating does have it's merits." Yasaka said.
"That was thesis for my academy essay. Old man Sarutobi tried to send me to guidance counseling for it." Kushina said as Yasaka snorted.
"Everyone has their methods, Naruto was quite rowdy in his youth. He used to be slapped by Momon-sama often, but only in extreme cases." Yasaka explained.
"How can it be often and during extreme cases?" Kushina asked.
"I do not know all the details, but Momon-sama likes to keep some details a secret." Yasaka said.
"Then how was Naru-chan when you met him?" Kushina asked.
Yasaka closed her eyes and took a deep breath, "A bit of a "goof" and this was before Momon-sama put him into her private military before the major conflicts. Back when her sons and him were told to advertise her products." She explained.
"I wonder what an entrepreneur needed a private army for." Kushina said.
Flashback, several years ago
Igner was playing an accordion while Naruto passed out flyers for Momon's latest product. It was some sort of delivery system that was composed by Grayfarn shortly before he was fired or maybe he quit. Those two never stay together for too long and sometimes their professional relationship lasts even less time. So it was hard to say how many times Grayfarn was still working at Momon's industry before he left for good.
"Come all! My mama has a new way for you to send and get mail!" Igner said while playing his instrument loudly.
Naruto was in fox form and was hopping around trying to pass out flyers in an attempt to bring in a crowd. As a few people stopped to watch Igner explain the new system. A pink kitsune stopped and grabbed her old sister's sleeve to make her stop as well. The blonde kitsune looked at the two street vendors trying to advertise Momon's latest product. Though she wasn't visibly amused in the slightest.
To her, it looked like needless stupidity to entertain the masses to buy things they do not need. Even if it was a convenient way to improve the local courier system. However, she looked at Naruto who was hopping around Igner and was surprised to see another Kyuubi. When their gazes met, Naruto stopped in place and dropped the flyers on accident. Panicking, Naruto scrambled to pick up the flyers and started drawing on the back of one of them.
"Hey little buddy, what are you doing?" Igner asked before being given the sheet. "Music? You want me to play this?" he asked.
Naruto nodded before gesturing to the blonde kitsune. Igner took a whole minute to register what Naruto meant. Before finally winking at his adopted nephew and playing the new song.
"Ladies, gentlemen, orcs and metal people! Meet The amazing Naruto!" Igner announced as Naruto started dancing while rolling on a ball.
The crowd was enamored by the theatrics. However, the kitsune woman that become Naruto's wife was not remotely entertained. Naruto continued to please the crowd only to frown as his newfound love disappeared from the crowd. Resulting in him falling onto the ground and having the ball roll over him.
The crowd laughed at the clumsiness. Before suddenly being distracted by a pair of automatons jumping through a window.
"Crap, there's a crowd. Cheese it Roberto!" one of them said.
"Hey! That's Bending Automaton Number 22!" Igner said.
"My name is Titanius now!" Titanius yelled as he and Roberto escaped with a lot of money.
Naruto groaned as he ran after Titanius, "Titanius, if I can't score tonight. You can't either!" he yelled.
Titanius glared at Naruto, "Jerk! What kind of friend doesn't let another friend get away with a robbery?" he asked.
Roberto also glared at Naruto, "I think, I'm gonna stab him!" he said as he dropped the money bag and pulled out a knife. "Come here you little dog! I'm gonna cut ya here and here and maybe here!" he said while swinging the knife.
"Roberto no! We already got too much attention!" Titanius warned.
"So? I'll stab them too! Hi yah! Hi Yah!" Roberto yelled as he tried to stab Naruto.
Naruto rolled his eyes as he twisted Roberto's arm and ripped it off, "We do this every time Roberto, it's not funny anymore." He said.
Roberto started to panic as he backed away. As the murderous automaton looked around for a new weapon. Titanius picked up Roberto's share of the loot and started running again. Roberto then picked up a bottle and smashed the lower half of it on the ground. Once again, the murderous robot tried stabbing Naruto again and again. Only to miss every time before having a kick dealt to the back of his head.
"I warned you Roberto!" Naruto yelled before digging his claws into Roberto's head and ripping out various gears.
"Hayaaaaaah…" Roberto said before shutting down.
Naruto sighed as he reverted to human form, "Now I need to call a cleaning crew and chase after Titanius." he said before the crowd cheered for him.
"Hero! Hero! Hero!" everyone cheered as they picked up Naruto and tossed him high into the air like a trampoline.
"Hey! I haven't recovered the money yet! I only stopped the psychopath!" Naruto shouted before the crowd continued parading him around.
The pink kitsune giggled, "Do you think he will make a good mate for you, Yasaka?" she asked.
Yasaka did look interested for once, "I suppose for an immature boy, he has strength and a sense of responsibility." she said.
End of Flashback
"And then you fell in love." Kushina said.
"Not remotely, no." Yasaka said making Kushina face fault.
"Kaa-sama fell in love long after all of that." Kunou said.
"As I said before, it was entertaining to think about now as an adult." Yasaka said thinking of the fond memories. "Still, everyone has their humble beginnings. You just have to prepare the next generation." she said as she watched the rest of the genin continue training.
"And do you know what you want to do in the future Kunou-chan?" Kushina asked.
"I want to succeed my Kaa-sama." Kunou answered without hesitation.
Kushina looked confused, "Isn't your father in charge?" she sked.
"Kaa-sama has a lot of authority as well. She's respected and honors the family. She's my inspiration." Kunou explains as Kushina was distracted by how adorable she sounded.
"Kunou-chan! That's so noble!" Kushina said as she crushed her granddaughter in a hug.
"Obaa-sama! Can't! Breathe!" Kunou shouts.
T&I
Anko was looking at Itsuki, the Bow Hero. Right now, he was strapped to a chair and that chair was being held upside down by some of the more muscular ANBU. Who had no problem holding a large chair with some skinny boy pretending to be a man for more than an hour. At least it was long enough for Itsuki's face to turn red from all of the blood rushing to his head.
"Well you aren't a total wimp kid. Still, I can't get paid unless you say what I want to hear. So how about you tell me what in the hell you were thinking running up into the stadium and causing that commotion." Anko said as she bent down to look at Itsuki's face.
"That is private information. My code of honor tells me to not give into intimidating tactics." Itsuki said trying to sound noble.
Anko frowned, "Flip him back up, medieval boy's brain cells are already dying." she ordered as the ANBU flipped Itsuki back up. "How about now? Does your honor have merit or do you want to go back to your mother's basement and play fantasy?" she asked.
"I'm not scared of being tortured." Itsuki said before Anko pushed his chair onto the ground where Itsuki's face was now meeting.
"That's Ibiki's job gaki. I don't do fear, it's a nice side gig but I bring out the pain until your brain can't handle it. So you gotta release that tension and tell the truth." Anko said before placing her sandal on the back of Itsuki's head. "And you better not be one of those closet pervert with a masochist fetish. I have my own tastes, but I'm not the kind that likes to stand on people." she said.
Itsuki wanted to vomit at the idea. It was painful and he didn't want to understand what gross stuff goes on in the minds of others.
"I'm telling you, I'm a hero. Naofumi is some corrupt man who used his petty personality to manipulate others." Itsuki said as if he mimicked a rational man.
"In other words, you are the good guy and your actions are justified by your title?" Anko asked.
"Yes!" Itsuki answered with much frustration.
"I'm guessing you come from a rich family with abusive conservative parent." Anko said as she started rubbing her foot against Itsuki's head. Making him cry out in pain, "No? Maybe you are one of those well behaved kids in school that gets his ass beat for acting like a superhero." she said she kept hurting him.
It didn't take too long before Anko figured out his character type.
"Wow, it really was the second one." Anko said before pulling Itsuki's chair up. Where she then leaned her face closer to his, "Listen here little boy, the world is scary and I don't care what self entitlement you got because some pompous asshole said you deserve it, but in the real world. Flashing you title isn't going to protect you." she said before unlocking the restraints.
Where Anko then signaled for the ANBU to move him.
"Get him a doctor so that he can heal enough to stay conscious. Either the gaki is hiding something or he really is an idiot." Anko said before following them out.
All the while Itsuki was trying to give himself a mental pep talk about justice or something.
Meanwhile, with Naruto
Reaching the city limits of one of the main cities of Makai. Naruto proceeded to pull out a document and handed it over to Diablo. Diablo bowed his head and quickly travelled towards one of the nearest government buildings. Knowing the speed of his butler as well as how much priority the document has as it contains his personal seal. Diablo would return a few minutes later with a look of pride on his face.
"It has been done, your majesty." Diablo said.
"Very good, now then. How long until we reach the capital?" Naruto asked.
"About an hour left I would say. Though I may be overstepping my bounds, why did you choose to come alone?" Diablo cruiously asked.
"I needed to complete some important yet small tasks. It's bad enough that Vali likely left Lady Skadi with too much work as to cover the two of us." Naruto explained.
"Ah yes, how long has it been since you've met with Lady Skadi? There have been too many stressful events for there to be any time to just sit down and socialize." Diablo said as recent events felt like an extended vacation.
"Too long, despite her appearance and age. Skadi is quite the youth who longs for breaks." Naruto replied. "Thinking about it now, Kunai was one of her bodyguards at one point." he said as the golem is currently in his security detail.
The hour went by quickly and with words of one of their emperors returning. A crowd tried to form up to watch the monarch exit his transport. Though very difficult as the royal guards on standby had immediately kept them contained as to prevent a potential disaster and threat on Naruto's life. Especially now with how anxious the public feels with their government being weakened with the sudden disappearance.
"Do you have a speech prepared your majesty?" Diablo asked.
"No, but there will be time for public announcements after I meet with Skadi and the rest of the governing board." Naruto answered as they walked down the path towards the palace.
"While I am not the type for parades and such grand festivities. I am happy to have returned home." Kunai said.
"And maybe you can greet Skadi if there's time." Naruto said as Kunai looked pleased.
Inside, the palace
The palace wasn't just a giant apartment or condo for some regal snob. It was a meeting place, but it was also very restrictive as to who can enter and how limited their movement is. Of course, high ranking officers and officials often have less to worry about when it comes to entry due to how recognized they are. So it still took some time for the guards to register Naruto as he was alone and appeared after having gone missing for son long.
With the boring paperwork over, Naruto strolled into his meeting room to find a couple of figures including Skadi herself. Where they all proceeded to give him odd looks.
"I know, it's strange that I'm tardy instead of Vali." Naruto said before taking his seat. "However, I do have a long explanation about my sudden departure as well as information as to where I've been. We may have to post pone other topics for the day." he said seriously.
As everyone paused to listen on whatever their emperor had to say. Diablo presented the jar containing Vanir's mask. With the dust that made up his body starting to move around again in an attempt to rebuild itself. However, it seemed that the jar and the seals were keeping him immobilized as planned.
"Firstly, we have a Duke of Hell who was reporting to a human terrorist on the behalf of his own benefactor." Naruto started to say.
"There is also the misfortune that he refuses to speak." Diablo said as Vanir felt smug. "Then again, even with his prowess. He may have the intelligence to rival a stalk of corn." He said as Vanir felt annoyed.
"Does this alleged Duke have a name?" Skadi asked.
"He only goes by the name, Vanir." Naruto answered.
"I recommend looking researching that name." another individual said.
"We've attempted that already and found no recent information regarding any public relationships." Naruto replied.
As the talks continued, Vanir considered disconnecting himself from his mask. Though it would still be a great risk of the mask is somehow salvaged and traced back to him. Being in Makai which is fairly close to the domain of the afterlife, there is a chance Vanir himself can be pulled out and he wasn't sure if all the Emperors and their generals would be easy to defeat if he were at full power.
With Arashi and Mito
Luna groaned, "How far is your village?" she asked.
"Super far, I bet you don't feel good if you can't fly around." Arashi said.
"Sora is not going to let me." Luna whined.
"Because you will be spotted. What if another Shadow Knight or something as dangerous is nearby?" Sora asked.
Luna pouted, "Fine, Arashi carry me!" she commanded. Arashi gave her a blank look, "Don't have any gross ideas. I know I'm cute, but don't get any ideas.
Mito wanted to hit her head against a tree, "Is she always like this?" she asked while looking at Sora.
"She tends to imply bad things to make other have perverted thoughts." Sora answered.
"I'm not interested and besides. You're not remotely my type Luna." Arashi said bluntly.
"Oh yeah? Then what kind of girls do you like?" Luna asked.
Mito groaned loudly, "What's taking that pervert and old woman so long?" she asked.
"A tall girl with a big ass and also you're too old Luna. Sorry, I don't date old women." Arashi said before Luna started hitting his chest.
"Hey, I am not old! I'm at the healthy age of 210!" Luna yelled.
"Yeah, 210 million years." Arashi said as Luna growled.
"This is the strangest friendship I have witnessed." Sora said.
A few minutes later, Jiraiya came back with Tsunade and her assistant. It took a lot of arguing and the promise of paying off her debts. But for now, Tsunade is willing to go back to Konoha to help reorganize the hospital in the village. At least now most of the patients are stable with Dr. Red and his staff keeping everyone in line and alive. Well his definition of alive is agreeable, but some people wouldn't consider the results of his methods to be living.
"Okay are we moving on or not?" Tsunade asked.
"Only when Arashi agrees to carry me." Luna answered.
"Just do it Arashi, Sora weighs as much as a sack of oranges. Luna can't be any more heavy." Mito said as she let Sora ride on her back.
"I'm really sorry for asking this of you." Sora said sheepishly.
"It's fine, you don't have a lot of stamina anyways." Mito said.
"Hey not like that!" Luna shouted.
Everyone looked to see that Arashi lifted Luna over his shoulder, "You wanted me to carry you. This is what you get." He said.
Luna continued to complain about her situation. Though she only calmed down as the days would pass and she would have to settle down with this being her position until they arrived at Konoha. Once they arrived, they found Kotetsu and Izumo standing at the gate wide awake and focused. Looking as if they were force fed gallons of coffee.
"You two look capable for once." Mito commented.
"We haven't had sleep in three days." Kotetsu whispered.
"I can hear every little thing within five meters of me." Izumo whispered.
Arashi presented his ID, "Here's my ID, also this girl I'm carrying is my uh… Mito how do we describe these two?" he asked.
"I'll take it from here. Boys, we are on an important mission. Starting with the return of one of the sannin. The good one I mean." Jiraiya said as he referred to Tsunade.
After some talks, the group was allowed to pass. Seeing as the job is practically over. Jiraiya decided to let the twins return back home.
"You might want to think of a good explanation for your new companions." Jiraiya said.
"What are those girls again? You said they weren't normal and I still don't know what you mean." Tsunade asked.
"Oh yeah, I'll uh… you might want to see for yourself later. These past few months were really hectic." Jiraiya answered. "For now, we have to go talk to my old apprentice and get you caught up on everything." he said as neither of them saw a dragon newt flyby.
With Minato
If council meetings and threats against the village weren't stressful enough. Minato was currently engaging in an important talk with the daimyo of Hi no Kuni. The daimyo looks concerned from all the confusion he has from all of the recent events that have transpired.
"And so, where is this emperor you speak of?" The daimyo asked.
Though he is still fuzzy on the details. The daimyo did notice the foreign military that was in his hidden village. Which did bring initial concern as it seemed to convenient for a new force to arrive and immediately establish relations.
"He should be back soon. However, his wife the emperor, also has a great amount of authority as well." Minato answered. "She's also my daughter-in-law, so that helps." he said nervously.
"Pardon me? Did I hear that correctly?" the daimyo asked with a confused face. "Did you give away your son to a foreign dignitary?" he asked.
"In a way, I should probably begin with the next part of my explanation." Minato said.
As the lengthy explanation had went on and Minato having to stop a few times to give more clear details. The daimyo is surprised to hear that the firstborn of his kage is back through strange circumstances. However, if things turn out well then this can work in his favor. As it would mean the nation has a strong ally and less likely to face foreign threats. It sounded selfish but security always comes first and he can only assume Minato will help with the delegation process.
"How good to hear Namikaze-dono. Perhaps I will see your son at a later date as well. Though with all due respect, it is rather embarrassing for your own child to suddenly outrank you." the daimyo said as Minato sweat dropped.
"I know." Minato said as he felt so tiny now.
That's when Momon came rushing in, "Hey brat, important mail is here." he said.
"Momon-sama, I'm in the middle of…"
"Just take it, you got a big court summons." Momon said as she tossed it like a shuriken that hit Minato's desk.
The daimyo felt confused, "What was that?" he asked.
"The woman who raised my son while he was missing. She's also the owner of MomCorp." Minato answered.
"That's interesting, I remember a new company rising up with that very same name." the daimyo said. "Anyhow, when will we have this meeting?" he asked before the two remaining sannin arrived.
Back at the Namikaze home
Upon arrival, Arashi crashed onto the couch and started to rest up a bit. While Mito was left with explaning the situation with Sora and Luna. However, it seemed like Yasaka was the one to fully understand the situation.
"You brought fairies." Yasaka said as Mito and the girls looked surprised.
"Uh, I, uh…" Mito wasn't sure how to respond.
"I have scene fairies before Mito. Their magic is powerful and distinct." Yasaka said as Mito gave a sheepish smile. "That and the one with the darker shade of blue eyes has wings." she said.
"Luna!" Sora yelled as her sister was practically exposing herself.
"What? Oh." Luna said as she looked at her back. "My bad." she said while smiling sheepishly.
"Fairies? Those exist too?" Kushina asked.
"Yes, but most tend to be hostile towards humans." Yasaka answered.
"We're not that bad." Luna said.
"It's your visitors that give you a reason to act hostile." Yasaka said.
"That I do admit." Sora replied.
Like most creatures and normal people, fairies really hate intruders who pillage their homes or at least make a mess of them. It does seem unfair as they wouldn't discriminate but with bad experiences. It does tend to make someone cautious and on edge when a stranger with possibly the same intentions as the last person could harm you.
Though Sora and Luna could tell that Yasaka could probably crush them if they were forced into battle. Then again, they can see she's a benevolent woman by how she's caring for her children and nephews.
"Arashi, Mito, have you thought about how you would house these two?" Kushina asked.
"We're not pets, lady." Luna said.
"I know, but you still need some space of your own. Since we already have lots of babies in this house to worry about." Kushina replied as she heard Kairi crying.
"Oh dear." Yasaka said as she picked up her daughter.
"I think we'll manage." Sora said while trying to think of a good plan without mooching off of Kushina's house.
The next day
Yasaka was dressed in a fine kimono and headdress as she was flanked by two guards in more regal armor. Though despite how fancy the designs were, everyone can tell that they were dangerous foes to be trifled with. Even those who wish for peace must prepare for violence.
"I'll be off now, since Naruto has yet to arrive. I will be representing our home." Yasaka said.
"Good luck Okaa-sama." Kunou said as she hugged her mother.
"I will not need such fortune Kunou. Just confidence." Yasaka replied as she gently stroked her daughter's head. "Just behave for your grandmother and keep your uncle and aunt out of trouble." she said.
"Hey!" the twins yelled angrily.
As Yasaka left to meet with the daimyo on behalf of Makai. Kunou suddenly felt someone grabbing her exposed tails. She immediately pulled them away as she felt Luna gently tugging on them. Kunou blushed as she glared at Luna for grabbing her sensitive area.
"Aw come on, you're so cute." Luna said but Kunou kept glaring at her.
"Leave her alone Luna, you can't pull on a kitsune's tail. Especially a… a kyuubi!?" Sora asked as she recoiled in fear.
"That makes her extra special!" Luna answered.
"How did I not notice Yasaka-sama was a kyuubi?" Sora asked herself.
"Well Tohru-san is a dragon, so I didn't see you freaking about her." Luna said as Sora sighed.
"Why are there so many ultimate species in one place?" Sora asked.
Kunou proceeded to scurry behind Mito, "I don't like them." she said.
"Kunou-chan, be nice." Mito said as Kunou growled. "And why are you growling? I didn't know you were so hostile!" she exclaimed.
Just then, the present genin arrived to continue their training session, "Is something going on here?" Sasuke asked.
"We have two fairies with different personalities and Kunou doesn't like them." Mito answered.
"I don't want to know anymore." Sasuke said before Arashi came running in.
"It's that time Uchiha! We never got a chance to fight! So there's no backing out now!" Arashi yelled.
Rin also arrived and he started laughing at the sight, "A real fight might help you two grow." he said.
"Fine, don't whine when I kick your ass." Sasuke said.
"Don't get mad when I kick your ass." Arashi countered.
"That's it! Use your anger to motivate each other!" Rin said as he stirred up the fight.
"How did get this position of power?" Mito asked as Rin seems too childish to her.
As the two boys were about to engage in a sword fight. They were interrupted by Momon who appeared in a puff of purple smoke. She immediately zapped the two boys with lightning coming out of her finger tips. Causing the two to crash into the ground and leaving large trails behind them.
"Aw, why did you have to interrupt?" Rin asked before being slapped.
"It's important business! Also, you are supposed to be guarding this building! Not proctoring street fights!" Momon yelled before slapping him again.
"OUCH! You're worse than Shura!" Rin whined he fell on his back.
"Why are you here baa-chan?" Arashi asked as he rubbed his chest.
Momon sighed, "Your teacher is being put on trial for cheating on Koyanskaya with that sea nymph that works for Grayfarn." she said.
"I thought Koyanskaya…"
"I can never keep up with that girl either, but this is an approved case and your teacher needs character witnesses." Momon said.
"But I wanna fight!" Arashi yelled before being slapped.
"Too bad!" Momon yelled before Sasuke also complained about his fight being interrupted.
He was also slapped and Momon had to grab the boys along with Sakura and Mito. Kunou stayed behind under the watchful gaze of the maids and guards at home. As the little girl was not concerned with Kakashi's predicament and Yasaka would return in a couple of hours once her meeting is finished.
However, Sora and Luna looked confused as they had no idea of what was going on within this village.
With Naruto
Having finished up with internal affairs along with working on a connection from here to Konoha. Naruto was setting up a meeting with a special individual he hopes will be willing to side with him.
"I'm glad your journey was a safe one, Kunai-san." Naruto said.
Sitting before Naruto is a middle aged man with long dark hair styled into a mullet. The man wore a typical black business suit and tie and carried around a lit cigarette in hand. Only he started putting it out on an ash tray once he came in. This is Hakuto Kunai, once the leader of a short lived empire and now owner of a special resort of a town that was originally a farming village.
"It was safe, but full of inconveniences that I don't want to talk about." Hakuto said.
"Anyways, let's get straight to business. I know you're not a "beat around the bush" type of individual." Naruto said as Hakuto nodded.
Naruto proceeded to explain the situation with Hakuto about the Spirit Tortoise in Melromarc's realm. While Hakuto isn't exactly capable of producing an army. The man does have great influence and access to resources that can help some of the locals trying to evacuate. At the end of the day, Hakuto Kunai is a bit of a shrewd businessman. With only few corporations and companies trumping his own business.
Such as MomCorp and REVOCS being a couple to name. Though Hakuto is resourceful enough to survive with his own business.
"I see, I'm guessing you're repaying the favor with that incident with the elves?" Hakuto asked as Naruto nodded. "You know, there have been quite a number of adventuring parties passing by my town." he said.
"Anyone worth mentioning?" Naruto asked.
Hakuto sat back in his chair and stared at the ceiling, "Not too many worth noting. A bunch of try hards really. They might run at a moments notice if some end of the world type situation arises." he said as Naruto frowned. "But, I think there's a few brave souls who might consider helping out regardless. I'm not sure, I'll sweeten this deal by advertising it around my businesses for a small fee." he said.
Naruto narrowed his eyes, "A reasonable fee." he replied.
"Okay, okay, I see why Vali always complains about you and Adrian." Hakuto said with a chuckle. "What happened to you, Crimson Emperor? You used to be cool." he asked.
"And you used to be a reckless fool with a fetish for silver haired girls." Naruto replied.
That's when out of nowhere, Hakuto's appearance changed into a younger man with short hair, "Hey, I take offense to that. I'm same guy no matter what face I use." he said before reverting back.
Naruto sighed, "I'll tell Rem you said hi." he said before the receptionist came in.
"Your majesty, I apologize for the interruption but you may wish to turn on the news!" they said.
"What? What's so important?" Hakuto asked.
Naruto pulled out a lacrima that revealed the hologram image of a live news feed. Where they were watching a court trial live from where they were sitting. Naruto frowned as he recognized a lot of those faces. Hakuto merely laughed as he read the title.
"Some idiot cheated on a yokai?" Hakuto asked.
"I know that fool." Naruto said as he saw Kakashi being dragged in.
At the court
The court gathered around and Koyanskaya sat with her attorney as the plaintiff while Kakashi and Yamato sat in the defendant's side with a prepaid discount lawyer.
"Lionel Hutz, pleasure to meet you both." the man said as he introduced himself to the two jounin. "Don't worry, I'm 72% sure we can work something out with the plaintiff. I may save you both from being neutered." He said as both men paled.
"What's this about being neutered?" Yamato asked before the bailiff interrupted him.
"All rise, for the honorable Judge Constance Harm." the bailiff said as a human woman took her seat.
"You may be seated." Judge Harm said.
Lionel winked at Kakashi, then Yamato, then a few people at the back, then the technician who was finishing up fixing the air conditioning and then the plaintiff's lawyer for some reason until the judge spoke up.
"Mr. Hutz, please stop winking at everyone." The judge said while keeping some restraint.
"Sorry your honor." Lionel said before winking at her too.
"Let's get this over with. What are the charges?" Constance asked.
The clerk pulled them out, "One case of cheating on a yokai spouse." she read out loud.
While seemingly small and simple as that's typically the case that just about every small level court deals with when couples divorce. Makai took that one very seriously. As it's an ancient law that has been tweaked in the past couple of centuries but never been abolished.
"I see, we're determining if we're neutering two morons." Constance said as Kakashi and Yamato shrunk from her glare. "What are the opening statements?" she asked.
The plaintiff lawyer spoke up first, "Your honor, my client is visibly shook. The mating process, which is a union of marriage is a sacred and these two men have defiled that honor. Even more so, they have abandoned their duties as fathers to their respective sons." he explained.
"Thank you Mr. Brando, that is all. Now Mr. Hutz, anything you would like to say?" Constance asked almost challenging Lionel.
The lawyer is rather famous, but not for a good reason. Though he is worth of his 2.1 star rating as of late.
"Your honor, I would like for the court to realize that my clients were not in control. Now, that may sound like a bad excuse and it may sound worse considering the cyclops is a closet pervert that reads pornography while teaching his preteen students." Lionel explained before being cut off.
"Mr. Lionel, not only are you further incriminating your own clients again, but you are getting off topic." Constance said.
"Right, sorry. Anyways, it was not their fault as I said. It was the fault of a sea nymph who had no problem with accepting kisses or flaring her charisma." Lionel said earning some favor.
"Very well, let us move onto the witnesses." Constance said.
That's when Mr. Brando stood up, "Your honor, I would like to call Minato Namikaze to the stand." he said.
That's when the Yondaime was dragged in and forced to take his seat after being threatened to not lie. Then Mr. Brando proceeded to walk up to Minato who looked very uncomfortable.
"Mr. Namikaze, please state your relationship with the defendants." Mr. Brando said.
"I'm their leader and specifically for Kakashi, I am his former teacher." Minato said.
"How would you describe the both of them?" Mr. Brando asked.
"I do not know Yamato on a personal level, however he is a loyal and serious shinobi. One that I am glad to depend on. Kakashi, he's a great student and skilled jounin." Minato explained.
Mr. Brando nodded, "And is it true that your student is very perverted?" he asked, using what Lionel said against them.
"Objection!" Kakashi yelled.
"Overruled." Constance said.
"Please answer the question." Mr. Brando said.
Minato sighed, "It's true, but on a limited level. He would never go farther than reading his book which my own teacher wrote. To be fair, without that book. I would have assumed he was gay." he said.
Kakashi cried anime tears, 'You're not helping sensei.' he thought.
"The defendant would like to cross examine the witness." Lionel said as Constance gave her approval. "Mr. Namikaze, can you explain how long your student has been reading such inappropriate books and why does it in front of children?" he asked.
"Your supposed to be defending your clients not accusing the witness of anything." Mr. Brando pointed out.
The result of this was everyone having less respect for Minato not disciplining his own student who is technically a soldier under his command.
"I would like to call the next witness." Mr. Brando said.
Kakashi started to slip down from his chair, "We're going to die Kohai." he said as Yamato looked scared.
Mito
Mr. Brando gave Mito a critical look, "And you say your teacher is a good man, but how is he when he calls meetings?" he asked.
"Well, he arrives late. So by now, we show up about two late since Kakashi sensei always arrives after three hours. You know, if he says to meet at 6 am, he arrives at 9 am." Mito explained.
Kakashi slammed his head on the table.
Arashi
"Would you say your teacher is responsible?" Mr. Brando asked.
"Does having a responsibility count?" Arashi asked back.
"Yes, but does Kakashi fulfill any of those responsibilities?" Mr. Brando asked.
"Uh, partially. 1 out of five stars I say." Arashi answered.
Sakura
"And do you like your teacher?" Mr. Brando asked.
"Of course, he can be harsh and quick to anger, but I think he did exceedingly well during his lectures." Sakura answered happily.
"He meant Kakashi sensei, not Iruka sensei." Mito said.
"Oh, that's way different then." Sakura said to Mr. Brando.
Sasuke
"Hn." Mr. Brando said.
"Hn... hn" Sasuke replied.
"Could someone translate?" Constance asked.
The translator proceeded to pull up a chalkboard with a detailed and accurate translation.
Mr. Brando: Young man, please describe your teacher as both an instructor and an individual to the best of your ability.
Sasuke: Let me think, I suppose he is very skilled and reliable. Only at the last minute, it says a lot and at first I did believe he was holding me back, however I have come to respect training and the difficulty it brings. It leaves me wondering where Kakashi is when fulfilling his personal obligations.
"There is no way he said all that!" Kakashi exclaimed.
"Order in the court!" Constance yelled as she slammed her gavel.
Might Guy
"Mr. Guy is it? How would you describe your relationship with your fellow jounin?" Mr. Brando asked.
"Kakashi is hip, but with recent events. I'm afraid he lacks any more flames of youth." Guy answered.
"I cannot understand you." Mr. Brando said.
"You say something Guy?" Kakashi asked.
"Dang it Kakashi, acting so hip! But what isn't hip is abandoning your own children!" Guy said lashing out against Kakashi.
Much later
By this point, all the testimonies proved that Kakashi is a good shinobi, but does not have a particularly good character. Making him look like shit in front of everyone like the neglectful father is he accused of. Yamato didn't get much hate, but the few ANBU who were allowed to be anonymous to give their testimonies only described Yamato's zealous attitude as well as his creepy face.
One even said that they thought he was a serial murderer with that stare of his. Which did not bode well for the safety of Koyanskaya's children..
"Your honor, if it helps. I do say again, there was a sea nymph and it manipulated my clients." Lionel said giving the men some hope. "Yes, they are bad fathers but it is not their own fault." he adds making it worse.
"And where is this sea nymph?" Constance asked.
That's when Grayfarn stood up, "In my lab, assisting me with a new concoction." he spoke up. "Here, let me give my side of the story." he said as he tried to move.
"Very well, please allow the Wizard Grayfarn take the stand." Constance said.
"I will take the stand whether you want me to or not! I have a voice that must be heard!" Grayfarn said as he navigated his way to the stand.
"Sir, I am giving you permission to speak your case." Constance said in a civil manner.
"Don't try and discourage me!" Grayfarn yelled.
Constance chose to ignore the senile man's antics, "Very well, Mr. Hutz is allowed to cross examine the witness." she said as Lionel stepped forward.
"Mr. Grayfarn, do you know where you are right now?" Lionel asked.
Now the wizard looked confused, "I'm uh, this is not the lavatory. Who are you people and what have you with my bathroom?" He asked.
"Mr. Grayfarn, right now. Those two men will be sent to a place worse than prison!" Lionel exclaimed.
Grayfarn gasped, "To the spice mines?" he asked.
"Worse!" Lionel shouted. "A world where their manhoods are removed." he said.
"That fate is worse than death! Judge, just kill them now! This is inhumane!" Grayfarn yelled making it worse.
"You can prevent it Mr. Grayfarn, just tell the truth of what your assistant the sea nymph did!" Lionel exclaimed.
"I will!" Grayfarn said as he took a long pause. Then forgot what they were doing, "What are we talking about again?" he asked.
One painful explanation later
"…and then, Titanius told me that he devoured some might tasty meatballs. I cannot verify that to be the truth as he does require food to live." Greyfarn explained.
"Mr. Greyfarn, while you did manage to explain just the right amount of information for the first five to ten minutes. We did not need to hear about your associate, Mr. Anglesmith, and how he allegedly watched a famous theatre actor being beaten half to death." Constance explained.
"The what? Oh, I'm no snitch!" Greyfarn said stubbornly.
"You are relieved Mr. Greyfarn." Constance said.
"That's right, I won't say anything." Greyfarn said as he stood up and walked back to his seat.
"Are there any witnesses left either side would wish to contact and cross examine?" Constance asked.
Lionel smiled the whole time as if that would fix all of their problems. Mr. Brando merely ignored the man and nodded to Koyanskaya who was blowing her nose on a tissue. That's when Kakashi had an idea, but wasn't sure if things would turn out since he was in more trouble compared to Yamato.
"Your honor, we would like to contact Kushina Uzumaki Namikaze." Kakashi said.
A few moments later, using a lacrima to contact the Uzumaki matriarch. Kushina figured out how to answer the device they left for her at home. Where she picked up with some confusion in her voice.
"Hello?" Kushina asked.
"Hello Mrs. Namikaze, this is Judge Constance Harm. We are contacting you to speak as a character witness for Kakashi Hatake and Yamato." Constance said.
"Oh… you're the people that want to neuter my husband's teacher?" Kushina asked.
"It's not that we "want" to do it, but I think I know how I will rule out this case." Constance answered as she glared at the defendants.
"I see, well I have lots of good, some bad and I guess it really depends on context." Kushina said.
"Please answer questions of both the plaintiff and defendant's to the best of your abilities ma'am." Constance said as Mr. Brando spoke up for the lacrima.
"Mrs. Namikaze, how would you define the defendants in terms of taking responsibility?" Mr. Brando asked.
"Normally responsible, but sometimes Kakashi-kun can be hard to motivate at first." Kushina answered as Kakashi knew this was a bad idea.
Back at home, a while later
Naruto had finally made the portal back to the village. Not needing to see the whole trial, he rushed his meeting with Hakuto and made it back here once he received word that the portal was ready. Now he he just needed to send word of his arrival before eventually making it to the home of his birth parents. Where he found Kushina talking on the lacrima that Momon gave her.
"I'm home." Naruto announced.
Kunou then ran up to hug her father, "Otou-sama!" she happily cried out.
"Hello Kunou-chan, have you been a good girl?" Naruto asked as he picked up his daughter.
"Yes." she answered.
"And your mother?" Naruto asked.
"A meeting with this village's daimyo." Kunou answered, surprising Naruto quite a bit.
That's when the maid arrived, "It is good to see you, your majesty." they said together.
"Good to see you all as well. How are the newborns?" Naruto asked. Rem and Ram both presented Ichigo and Kairi who looked exciteable, "Tou-sama missed you too." he said as he put down Kunou.
"We've also been watching over Hinata and Naegi." Tohru said as she presented Naruto's nephews.
"I can see why, they televised the trial." Naruto replied as the two boys giggled at their uncle.
Then Kushina came running into hug her son, "Naru-chan!" she cried out.
"Kaa-sama, I am not a child." Kushina said as she practically crashed into him.
"You may be in the body of a man, but you're my little boy." Kushina argued. "By the way, if you did watch that trial. I think Kakashi and Yamato might be getting executed or something." she said with little concern.
"They won't be executed, they might feel like execution would be a better alternative." Naruto answered. "Anyways, how have things been going on here?" he asked.
"Pretty good, your siblings just came back and they brought guests." Kushina said as Naruto suddenly sensed Sora and Luna.
"They brought fairies?" Naruto asked with wide eyes.
"Crap! He sensed us!" Luna exclaimed as the two started hiding.
"What did they do?" Naruto asked in a serious voice.
Kushina tried remembering, "I don't think they mentioned it yet." She answered.
Naruto sighed, "I'll try to talk them. It's hard meeting a fairy who is willing to leave their home." he said as he tried to approach the girls.
Outside
With news of the gate being mentioned, the forces of Melromarc started to prepare their gear. Naofumi was the most eager despite not wanting to do much with Mirellia's kingdom. Though he still had his obligation if he wanted to go home someday.
"Does this actually lead back to Melromarc?" Naofumi asked one of the officers.
"It's connected to a crossroads or so I hear. You will probably be heading another direction to meet the queen anyways." the officer answered.
Naofumi sighed, "Just great." he said sarcastically.
"What about the Spear and Bow hero?" Rishia nervously asked.
"Still no update, those two are being stubborn about the King's previous orders." The same officer answered as Rishia looked down.
"Rishia, why do you care? Didn't Itsuki practically abandon you? I also know Motoyasu isn't the hero he pretends to be." Naofumi asked.
Rishia whimpered, "It's not like that Naofumi-sama, Itsuki-sama used to be kind hearted. Now he's always angry and prideful. He had a sense of duty that was good, but it's like he's caring about the praise and rewards than saving the day." she explained.
"I know how you feel Rishia, sometimes Naofumi-sama can be hard to work with, but he's at least trying to be fair." Raphtalia said trying to comfort the girl.
"Yeah, master is a businessman that does charities sometimes." Filo said.
"I think that does sum me up by this point." Naofumi said with some surprise.
"Didn't you set up a soup kitchen when all those buildings collapsed during the invasion?" Mash asked.
"I wouldn't call it that and besides, it would have been less costly if Seiya didn't demand that I pay him to help." Naofumi said as he glared at Seiya from a distance.
"Goods and services require payment upfront!" Seiya shouts from a distance.
Naofumi shook his head, "Ignoring that, we'll have to see how things turn out wherever this tortoise is." he said. "Still, I wouldn't mind an extra pair of hands. You and Elulu were good people to Filo and Raphtalia." he said.
Mash scratched his head and chuckled, "Yeah, you were cool too. Maybe just more professional than Seiya, but he's our leader. We have a Demon Lord to beat after all." he said.
"I guess we're all pretty busy then." Raphtalia said.
"Maybe if things turn out, we'll see each other again." Elulu said with some hope.
"I sure hope so." Raphtalia said as Naofumi reached into his pocket.
"Here, I made something for the two of you. It's not much, but every little bit helps." Naofumi said as he pulled out two necklaces. "I don't know how well his soloing is going to help, but you two need the strength you can get." he added.
Elulu accepted her necklaces and decided to scan it, "Appraisal." She said.
Naofumi's Necklace
Grants permanent increase in statistics when leveling up. (+1 Strength, +1 Magic, +10 Vitality, +10 Defense)
Elulu smiled, "This will help a lot." she said optimistically.
"Do you have one for Seiya?" Mash asked.
Naofumi gave him a dry look, "Of course not, he's either going to throw it away, sell it or break it. Knowing him, he's going to think a necklace from is going to make his head explode or take away his free will." he said while crossing his arms. "That or he's going to say it gave him a lot of bad luck." he finished.
"I guess that makes sense." Mash said as he took the necklace gifted to him.
"Anyways, are you girls packed and ready to go?" Naofumi asked.
"Yes." Rishia and Raphtalia answered.
"I'm ready to pull master!" Filo said as she transformed.
"Good, I also got a new wagon for us so lets get on. I think Ren's hitching a ride with the group he arrived with." Naofumi said as they went their separate ways.
However, before anyone could get a move on. The entire Melromarc Caravan froze at the sounds of howling. Hearing the animalistic roars from a distance, everyone took cover and looked up at the sky. Where they saw several figures rushing towards the walls of Konoha.
"Don't tell me it's another invasion." Naofumi said with a tired sigh.
"I was ready to go home too!" Rishia whined as the howling became louder.
That's when they saw Rin running past them, "Oh boy! I always wanted to take on a dragon!" he yelled.
"Dragon!?" everyone asked.
Then Tohru started flying past them as well, "How dare three delinquent dragons attack my master's home!?" she asked angrily as she started to transform.
With Graf Dumas
Arriving at Orochimaru's lab, Graf Dumas had met the snake sannin along with Shogo. Though he could tell that this isn't the same arrogant boy who was happy to pick fights. As if he could see into the man's soul, he could detect who inhabited that body.
"I assumed Shogo had died during the invasion. Did you save him just to obtain his body Razen?" Graf asked.
"Not entirely, no. Rather, I created a homunculus using Shogo's DNA samples. I foretold that the boy would be killed because of his stupidity, but I coveted the power this delinquent has at his age." Razen explained.
"And he was abe to save the head of that other boy from that invasion. Though the girl appears to be alive, so it's a pity I cannot add her to my experiments." Orochimaru spoke up as he would have liked to see what he could make with Kirara had she not survived the invasion.
The three turned to a giant test tube containing Kyoya's head that's been attached to some sort of monstrous body.
"He may have been foolish but his power deserved more." Orochimaru said. "I do have to thank you for your donation Dumas-san. Though, I cannot help but feel curious as to what motivates such things." he said.

Orochimaru ignored the disrespect, "As I said, their power is being utilized but not optimal. In fact, the "cadaver" as you put it, lacks in intelligence and has difficulty with directions." he said.
"I'm sure they will eventually be domesticated. Handling a mindless animal is difficult as long as it doesn't have a mind to depend on." Graf said.
"Speaking of which, do you expect more of these creatures?" Razen asked.
"Of course." Graf said as it was obvious.
"But, would that not be difficult? My kingdom lacks the resources to summon more heroes and other lands do not have otherworldly individuals who are at the same level as our trio. Let alone being able to reach the same level of potential." Razen asked.
Then a portal opened behind Graf, "That is why we are not using enhanced humans. We are using much more powerful cadavers." he answered as Orochimaru personally looked over the boxes.
"Demon lords? What sort of strange title is that?" Orochimaru asked.
"Not true demon lords, these are supposedly fragments of a stronger sentient. I suppose they are like the experiments you are making. Each box contains parts of a much stronger individual." Graf explained.
"Then this must be a great way to test my patience. I cannot fathom what you plan to do by amassing an army more dangerous than the deceased kages I attempted to summon with the Edo Tensei." Orochimaru said as he had some doubts about Graf's secret plan.
Whatever that plan is supposed to be.
