Kamine Island Part Two

Portman Knightmare Frames were underwater as they continued with the search but it wasn't just any clues as to looking into Euphemia and Nonette, they were trying to see if they could find members of the Black Knights who were able to escape. Elsewhere under the ocean, the Black Knights' Submarine was in a spot hiding from the Britannian forces. The submarine was also hiding from the Avalon that had just hovered over the sky. In the mess hall within the submarine, the remaining members sighed in relief as they were able to stay out of radar of the Britannian forces as well as Avalon. It was nerve wracking for most of them and all were worried about the fate of the six that were missing.

"Now an aircraft carrier to worry about," Sugiyama commented.

"You've got to be kidding me," Tamaki said.

"We have no choice," Todoh said and then he turned to Keitaro, "Aoyama, we can't remain in this area any longer. The risk is too great. We should pull out of here."

"He might be right," Ohgi said.

"Hmm," Keitaro pondered as he folded his arms.

"Wait, I disagree," Diethard said, "we should actually stay put and look for Lelouch and the others."

"Would it be a bad idea to go look for them?" Kaguya asked as she approached them with worry.

"Unfortunately in this situation Lady Kaguya, yes," Todoh said, "even though we're able to hide, after what happened yesterday, we don't even know if Lelouch, Nunnally, and the others are even alive. If we're not careful, we risk endangering ourselves and our entire organization."

"Now wait a minute," Diethard said, "that's not right, this organization is built around both Zero and Void."

"It's not a group without members Diethard," Todoh rebuked, "besides, Lelouch and Nunnally would never want us to risk ourselves carelessly even if it was to search for them."

"Really?" Diethard replied, "Okay then let me ask you something. We, the Black Knights are becoming a powerful force able to stand against Britannia and we have supporters and allies from not only here but also in other places and even in Britannia we have supporters there however how is it that it's all possible? Who are the ones who have made it possible for us? Who are the reasons why we're able to stand here today? Who are the ones that give us results? We all know that none of here could have accomplished of they've done and all thanks to their leadership, their planning, and their smart decision makings."

"I'm well aware that Lelouch and Nunnally and even Rai make things possible for us," Todoh said, "they give us results and I'm glad to follow them but we wouldn't do any good for them if we just risk our well-beings for something we have nothing to go on."

"Risking our well-beings for the sake of those who lead us is sometimes necessary," Diethard replied, "I bet it wouldn't be an issue for you if it was General Katase."

The Four Holy Swords flinched and looked at Diethard angrily and Todoh looked at Diethard angrily as well.

"Don't speak of General Katase so lightly," Todoh responded, "what do you know anyway?"

"Whoa guys, let's calm down," Ohgi pleaded.

"Yes please, we shouldn't fight among ourselves," Kaguya pleaded.

"Yes, let's calm down," CC spoke as she arrived wearing her own Black Knight uniform, "I can tell you that they're fine. They're alive and well."

"We don't want wishful thinking CC," Todoh said.

"It's not wishful thinking Todoh," CC replied, "I know it to be true. Lelouch, Nunnally, Rai, Naoto, Kallen, Alice, they are all alive and well. In fact, I know where they are."

This surprised the others with what CC had said.

"CC, are you certain you know where they are?" Ohgi asked.

"Yes I'm positive," CC said, "they're actually on Kamine Island. It's not that far from Shikine Island."

"Kamine Island?" Tamaki asked, "How did they get there?"

"Here's a better question," Minami said, "are you sure they're on Kamine Island?"

"I know that they are," CC said, "just trust me on this, what I'm telling you is accurate."

"If she says they're there, then they are there," Jinta said walking up.

"Are you sure about this Jinta?" Inoue asked.

"Miss CC has a sense of these things," Sayoko assured, "We can trust her on this information."

"Well if Jinta and Sayoko believe CC…" Yoshida said.

"So if they're there, then we should go and rescue them," Gen suggested.

"We should but Todoh is right in what he had said earlier," CC said surprising the others, "we make an attempt and we'll be spotted and attacked and right now we can't risk it."

"So you agree with what I said," Todoh said.

"Yes, in this situation," CC said.

"You too?" Diethard said disappointed and frowned, "Hmph, I would have thought you of all people would have been on board in trying to find them immediately."

"Trust me I would but we won't do any good to them if we get caught," CC pointed out, "the Britannian forces are on high alert after all unless you have a solution if we get spotted. Those that piloted those GX 01 Knightmares are still there and they're on guard and I'm sad to say that right now we don't stand a chance against them."

"But still…" Diethard spoke.

"Keitaro, can I make a suggestion?" Ohgi asked.

"Sure go ahead," Keitaro said looking at Ohgi.

"How about we do this?" Ohgi said, "We hang in a safe zone, an ocean area just out of a detection range where we can lay low until the end of tomorrow before we make on our next action. How does that sound for a time limit?"

Keitaro nodded at the idea, "Okay, that is acceptable. We're going with it," Keitaro looked at both Todoh and Diethard, "we're going with Ohgi's suggestion."

"…Very well," Todoh said.

"You're the one in command now," Diethard said.

"Good and while we wait, we should plan out how we're going to go about this if we do decide to go search for them," Keitaro said, "even with the risk…"

Todoh sighed and nodded, "Very well."

"Now that I can agree on," Diethard said with a nod.

CC sighed and left as the others discussed things among themselves and planned things out. CC went in the hall and was annoyed.

"For heaven sake," CC spoke, "I'm now seriously irritated and all because of your childish prank," CC was silent and then she stopped, "Yeah, I already know you sent Kallen, Naoto, Alice, and Rai there as well. You have such poor taste for such a curious observer and really, you seriously play too much. Sooner or later, your pranks are going to backfire on you. Also you are seriously underestimating both Lelouch and Nunnally. It'll be your own fault when they get their hands on you. Trust me, it'll happen and you're not going to like it."

CC was silent again and then she sighed and then the scene around her suddenly changed around and she ended up at a place where it was just a blue sky and a platform. Jinta walks up and faces CC.

"That was a little too close Jinta," CC said.

"Ah, I see," Jinta said, "I guess I still need to work on that."

"But regardless, VV is still not on to us, not on to me," CC said, "so it's fine."

"So, Vincent is the one who had Lelouch and the others on Kamine Island," Jinta said.

"Yes, he said he's going to observe them," CC said.

"Observe them?" Jinta asked, "For what?"

"I don't know," CC said, "he wouldn't tell me but… we can be sure that it's not anything good."

"I see," Jinta said folding his arms, "he really likes to toy with people."

"One other thing Jinta," CC said, "it seems that Jeremiah is there as well."

"Jeremiah?" Jinta asked, "Wait, isn't he that guy who been called Orange? The same guy who was one of Marianne's guards at the Aries Villa?"

"The very same one," CC said.

Jinta was surprised and didn't know what to make of it.

"Vincent, what the hell are you trying to do?" Jinta asked in his head with a frown, "Wait, I think I might know."

Kamine Island

Lelouch, Rai, and Euphie were sitting around a bonfire that was cooking the fishes that Lelouch caught that were on sticks and on the side were the fruits that Euphie and Rai had gathered.

"Okay, they're ready," Lelouch said with a smile, "let's eat."

"Great," Rai said happily.

Lelouch and Rai each picked up a fish and started to eat and were happy as they ate the cooked fishes. Euphie slowly picked up one and looked at one and took a bite.

"This is quite an experience," Euphie said, "oh, please have some fruit Lelouch, they're quite tasty."

"I will," Lelouch said.

The three continued to eat with happy expressions. Meanwhile with Jeremiah and Nunnally, Jeremiah was depressed as he was looking at the fishes that were cooked on the bonfire. Nunnally picked one up and started to eat.

"You should get one Jeremiah," Nunnally said, "I promise that they're cooked well."

"I'm sorry Your Highness," Jeremiah said feeling shame, "I failed to get anything and you're the one who had to do all the catching and the cooking. I've failed you terribly."

"Don't worry about it Jeremiah," Nunnally assured, "it's not a big deal really. I told you I've had experience here before so I knew where and what I could do here. Anyway, just pick up a fish and eat. Don't starve yourself and don't beat yourself over it, okay?"

Jeremiah looked at Nunnally who gave him a kind expression and he was touched and nodded.

"Yes of course," Jeremiah said as he picked up a fish on a stick, "so you learned this from Prince Lelouch and he learned this from Sir Kururugi."

"That's right," Nunnally said.

Jeremiah looked at the cooked fish and recalled when he had interrogated Suzaku back when he and most of his former friends of the Purist Faction pinned the blame on him for the death of Clovis and recalled when he wanted to know the fates of Lelouch and Nunnally. Jeremiah looked at Nunnally who was enjoying her fish that she was eating. Meanwhile with Nonette and Naoto, Nonette was looking at the bonfire that was cooking the fishes that Naoto had caught. Naoto was eating one of the cooked fish and then he looked at Nonette.

"You should eat Nonette," Naoto said.

"Y-Yeah," Nonette said, "it's just…"

"It's not what you're used to," Naoto said, "Well there's not much option."

"Well you're certain reliable if nothing else," Nonette said with a smile.

"Uh, thanks," Naoto said.

"Oh well," Nonette said.

Nonette took off her gloves, picked up a fish on a stick, and slowly took a bite. Meanwhile with Suzaku, Kallen, and Alice, Kallen sighed with relief and she relaxed having eaten the cooked fishes from the bonfire and Alice was still eating a fish and so was Suzaku.

"That was good," Kallen said happily, "I'm so stuffed. I don't think I can eat another bite."

"So is this actually a glimpse of what you're really like Kallen?" Suzaku asked with a smile.

"Yeah, so?" Kallen replied looking at Suzaku, "What, you want to make something of it?"

"No, I think it's charming seeing the real you," Suzaku replied.

Kallen was taken aback and looked away.

"Just so you know, flattery isn't going to get you anywhere with me," Kallen said.

"I wonder how Lelouch would react if he saw the real you," Suzaku said amused, "boy he would be surprised."

"Oh you have no idea," Alice commented.

Suzaku looked at Alice and wondered what she meant and then decided that he should make the attempt to convince the two ladies with him.

"Kallen, Alice," Suzaku said, "leave the Black Knights."

"Hmm?" Kallen responded as she and Alice looked at Suzaku.

"It's a lot better than being caught eventually," Suzaku continued, "A terrorist doesn't get a happy ending, especially one that gets captured. It's not too late for you two."

"Why am I not surprised you said that?" Kallen responded.

"You can forget it," Alice said as had finished eating her fish, "Kallen and I are committed to the cause and won't back down."

"That's right," Kallen said, "it just so happens that Alice and I are captains of elite guards for Zero and Void. In fact, you and I fought each other back in Yokosuka and when we rescued Todoh."

"Yokosuka and the prison…?" Suzaku replied and then he realized, "Wait, were you the one piloting that red Knightmare, the one called the Guren Mk-II?"

"That's right," Kallen replied, "that was me."

Suzaku sighed and looked at Alice.

"What about you Alice?" Suzaku asked.

"Well I was at Yokosuka as well," Alice said, "and I even assisted Void when she fought against Cornelia."

"That's right," Kallen said, "we're committed and we won't back down. It's for the sake of Japan and other nations occupied by Britannia that we'll win and we give people hope."

"Using Zero's methods," Suzaku said with a frown, "holds no future no matter how you try to slice it."

"You're trying to say that your way actually does?" Kallen replied and then she scoffed, "Don't make me laugh. It's amazing that after everything that has happened so far and what you've seen, you still insist that if you work hard and stay obedient to them, that they'll truly accept you and Britannia will change for you. There has to be a limit of how naïve and gullible you can be."

"The problem is that you don't even want to try," Suzaku rebuked, "none of you in the Black Knights actually want to try to use the system to change things for the better."

"And why should we?" Alice asked, "When it's a fact that the system is just tainted and riddled with corruption."

"Britannia is not worth serving," Kallen said, "especially with those in power who would fight against change that you believe that you can make."

"You don't know that," Suzaku insisted, "I know that there are problems, I admit that and the path that I've chosen is riddled with very tough and difficult obstacles but I believe that in the end, things can get better if you work hard and earn their trust. Being allowed to pilot the Lancelot and becoming Princess Euphemia's knight is proof of that."

"We're aware about the people you work closely with and Euphemia li Britannia," Kallen said, "and they allowed it because they're not prejudice against other races although it's not saying much with Lloyd Asplund."

"That guy is a sociopath," Alice commented, "we happen to have someone who knows his character very well."

"Well there's no denying that," Suzaku said, "but still there is no point, no point in really fighting against Britannia."

"You're such a fool," Kallen responded in disgust, "you know that."

"I'm not being a fool," Suzaku replied back with a glare, "I'm actually being logical in this."

"Logical?" Alice replied amazed, "There's nothing logical in what you've said. The problem is that you refuse to really see the big pictures. You fail to realize that just because things have been well for you, mostly through luck, doesn't mean that it would be the same for anyone else in your situation. You have nothing to really base on what you said that can happen. With those people in power, Britannia won't change, especially for a naïve gullible person like you."

"We're not like you," Kallen said, "what they do, what Britannia does to other nations and to its people is wrong and we do what we do to stand up against Britannia's tyranny."

"You don't know that and all because you rather use Zero's methods," Suzaku said, "and you don't bother to think of the consequences of your actions."

"Actually we do," Alice said calmly, "More so than you do of your own actions."

"Oh really?" Suzaku said and he shook his head, "You really know the consequences of the things you've done and yet you keep going?"

"Here's something Suzaku," Kallen said, "do you really bother to think of the consequences before you act on what you do?"

"What are you talking about?" Suzaku asked.

Kallen glared at Suzaku, "I'm talking the fact that you killed your father seven years ago."

"Tell us, regardless of the circumstances, did you bother to think about the consequences of what would happen before you killed your father?" Alice asked, "Hmph, no of course you didn't because you acted out of impulse."

Suzaku was shocked as he looked at Kallen and Alice and then he calmed himself down.

"Did Zero and Void tell you?" Suzaku asked.

"They told all of us on the day we rescued Todoh," Kallen said.

"I see…" Suzaku replied with a downcast expression, "of course they would tell you."

Meanwhile Naoto was eating a fish on a stick and Nonette just stared at the bonfire.

"JJ," Nonette said, "I want you to listen to me. You should—"

"I refuse," Naoto interjected.

Nonette flinched and looked at Naoto surprised.

"Hey, I didn't get to finish what I was going to say," Nonette complained.

"You were going to tell me to abandon the Black Knights," Naoto said.

"Ah," Nonette spoke surprised, "okay, you got it right. I don't how but seriously… you won't reconsider?"

"No, I've made my decision," Naoto said determined, "I know where I stand. Besides, I have a responsibility as one of the Deputy Commanders of the Black Knights."

Nonette raised an eyebrow and then she sighed and looked at Naoto with a serious expression.

"JJ, let me give you a spoiler of what's going to happen," Nonette said, "you'll lose and when that happens, you'll have nowhere to run to and most likely, you'll be executed."

"Hmph, even if that is case that it may happen to me," Naoto said, "but still I will continue on. Besides, I made a promise and I intend to keep it."

"Why, because of Zero?" Nonette replied, "Is he really worth fighting for?"

"I don't fight for Zero," Naoto said, "I fight with him and Void. It's thanks to him and Void that Britannia is shown that it's not unbeatable we've expose the truth and corruption that runs rampant."

Nonette shook her head, "You don't know Zero."

"Oh, what do you mean?" Naoto asked.

"Zero is not the person that you think he is," Nonette said, "I should know, I actually know him personally, more so than you and any of your comrades."

"Well I actually doubt that," Naoto said, "I believe you don't really know him as well as you think you do."

"Really?" Nonette replied with a scoff, "Well then I'm going to tell you who he is. Zero is—"

"He is the former 11th Prince of Britannia who was the 17th heir to the imperial throne," Naoto interjected still eating a fish, "he is Lelouch vi Britannia."

Nonette was shocked in what Naoto had just said.

"In fact," Naoto continued as he finished eating and put the stick down, "Void is Nunnally vi Britannia, the former 6th Princess of Britannia who was the 89th heir to the throne. The children of the 98th Emperor Charles zi Britannia and the late Marianne vi Britannia, who was the 5th Imperial Consort, former Knight of the Round who was known as Marianne the Flash."

Nonette was shocked in what she heard.

"When did you…?" Nonette asked.

"I've known because regardless of what you think," Naoto said, "I'm trusted."

"Okay," Nonette said still shocked, "I'm shocked, surprised… but this is a good thing. Then you have to understand."

"I understand why Lelouch and Nunnally would lead against Britannia that is ruled by their old man," Naoto said.

Nonette frowned at what Naoto had said. Meanwhile with Lelouch, Euphie, and Rai, the three of them were looking at the night sky and admiring the stars.

"The stars haven't changed, have they?" Euphie spoke.

"No, they really haven't," Lelouch responded.

"Back then, we used to look up at the stars in the sky," Euphie said with a smile, "back in the Aries Villa."

"Yes, those were pleasant times back then," Lelouch said with a smile.

"They really were," Euphie said, "you, me, Nunnally, Lady Marianne, and even Jeremiah. Wouldn't it be wonderful if we could live like that again? I'd be so happy."

"Yeah…" Lelouch said.

"Can't we go back to that?" Euphie asked with a downcast expression.

"It would be so good," Lelouch said, "to go back… to the way things were but…"

Meanwhile back with Suzaku, Kallen, and Alice.

"Zero is a lot like my father," Suzaku said with disdain, "he firmly believes that the world revolves around him. That's why he's able to justify spilling the blood of others. I didn't have the intent to actually kill my father. I despise myself what I've done but I figured that it would stop the war and people would stop fighting."

"That's why you accept the way things are now?" Kallen asked, "You accuse Zero of believing that world revolves around him but you could not be any more wrong. Zero isn't arrogant despite what you say. Now the people that you work for, who you're sucking up to, they're the ones that have that mindset. Look what happened in Shinjuku. Clovis ordered the massacre there and there was neither remorse nor hesitation when he gave that order and then there's Cornelia who was willing to massacre the people in Saitama just to lure Zero. They believe they're in the right and don't see non-Britannians as human beings and which is why they would justify killing innocent people, people that wouldn't even fight them."

"Then there's that group the Purist Faction," Alice said, "those people were willing to take and kill Shirley's dad, another Britannian to use him as a means just to frame Zero for the crime," Alice glared at Suzaku, "and to think you were going to blame Zero for what they were going to do to Shirley's dad."

Suzaku looked down and felt ashamed.

"I was wrong," Suzaku said sadly, "I admit that. I'm ashamed that I let that thinking go into my mind in the first place. But still, you can't seriously justify the killings that Zero does to soldiers."

"Oh so it's okay for the Britannian soldiers to kill people," Kallen replied disgusted, "just because they're in charge."

"I-I didn't say that," Suzaku said.

"You might as well have," Kallen said, "let me ask you Suzaku, are you a soldier?"

"What, of course I am," Suzaku replied.

"Then start acting like one!" Kallen responded, "Stop being so damn childish!"

"What?" Suzaku replied surprised, "Childish?!"

"I don't know if you're just not aware of this or maybe you ignore the fact," Kallen said, "but soldiers, especially soldiers of Britannia are ordered to do things that are never clean. Think about it, when you were in Yokosuka ordered to capture Katase, were you not ordered to kill other people while leaving Katase alive."

Suzaku flinched back and looked away.

"I was…" Suzaku spoke and he shook his head and looked at Kallen, "but we didn't kill anyone that time."

"Yeah because we prevented it," Kallen said, "we the Black Knights prevented it and aided Katase and the remaining JLF."

"If you want to remain obedient to the country that subjugates and sadistically bleed your fellow Japanese people dry, who are willing to kill people just because they could, then that's your problem," Alice said, "however, we feel that it's all kinds of wrong and we choose to stand against it, against the injustice that Britannia does."

"It's not that I want you two to give up," Suzaku said, "but ask yourselves, when you gain the results the wrong way, what are you left with in the end? Only a deep dark regret and emptiness with nowhere to go."

Alice and Kallen looked at Suzaku and sighed as they shook their heads.

"One more thing," Suzaku said.

"What?" Kallen said.

"I said that you two should leave the Black Knights," Suzaku said, "if not for your own sakes, then… could you two think about Lelouch and Nunnally and asks yourselves, is it something to risk your lives for and that it would cause pain to them if you get caught?"

"Don't you dare," Kallen said in a calm tone.

"Kallen…" Suzaku said.

"Don't you dare try to use Lelouch and Nunnally on this," Kallen said with a glare.

"If anything, it is also for their sakes as well that we're fighting against Britannia," Alice said.

"What, how could it be for their sakes?" Suzaku asked surprised, "I'm sure they would never—"

"You never really understood," Kallen interrupted, "even though you've known them before we have."

"How can you say that?" Suzaku asked defensively.

"Because we know who they really are," Kallen said.

"Know who they really are?" Suzaku asked.

"Yes, we know Lelouch and Nunnally are the former prince and princess of Britannia who sent to Japan to be hostages by their callous father, the emperor," Kallen said with hatred.

Suzaku was surprised and was getting nervous.

"When did you…?" Suzaku spoke still shocked.

"It was only recently that Lelouch and Nunnally trusted me enough to tell me their background," Kallen said, "they told me how eight years ago, their mother was murdered and even though they tried to make it look like it was the work of terrorists, it was actually a scheme from someone or some ones from the imperial court just because she was born a commoner and how Lelouch had an audience with his dad wanting to know why he would just let something like that go on and yet, that man callously said that his mother's death was trivial news and didn't give a damn. He basically sent them away to Japan to be bargaining tools and only for the emperor to order the invasion knowing full well that Lelouch and Nunnally were there. Clearly, he didn't care much and he sent them to die and make them as martyrs. Even when the three of you were walking to get away, you were exposed to death around and they weren't even soldiers, they were innocent people and even children… some were younger than Nunnally at the time."

"I see," Suzaku said with a sad expression, "so Lelouch and Nunnally trusted you enough to tell them what had happened to them."

"Of course with me, I was already aware," Alice said.

"How and when?" Suzaku asked.

"I'm not telling you," Alice said.

Suzaku frowned and looked down.

"What happened to Lelouch and Nunnally is tragic," Suzaku said, "it wasn't fair with what happened to them but please, don't do anything that will get them, or maybe just Lelouch on the path of vengeance. If he were to find that you got hurt, he…"

Suzaku shook his head and Kallen sighed.

"You really are hopeless," Kallen said, "why am I still talking to you? Isn't it the fact that you're willing to be a loyal dog to Britannia that in a way that you're betraying them?"

"That's not it at all," Suzaku said upset, "that's wrong."

Kallen laid on the ground and looked up in the sky and Alice yawned and did the same and Suzaku had a sad expression and didn't know what else he could say to convince them. Meanwhile Nunnally looked at Jeremiah surprised and Jeremiah had a determined expression.

"Can you say that again Jeremiah?" Nunnally asked.

"Princess Nunnally," Jeremiah said, "please… allow me to join you and Prince Lelouch on your crusade. I'm willing to be part of the Black Knights."

"Jeremiah, you realize what we're doing, right?" Nunnally asked, "You realize that we're going against Britannia. For you Jeremiah, are you willing to commit treason against Britannia?"

"I am," Jeremiah said, "I know what it entails and I know… that I may not be forgiven for the actions I've taken in the past but whatever it takes, I wish to be your shield. Please Your Highness, allow me to join you and Prince Lelouch. I would like to make up failure to you two and your mother, Lady Marianne."

Nunnally was surprised and was surprised that Jeremiah was so determined and then she calmed down and looked at Jeremiah with a serious expression.

"Listen Jeremiah," Nunnally spoke, "are you willing to join us because you agree with the cause or just because of your loyalty to my mother and doing this as a way to atone for something that was obviously not your fault?"

"Uh, does it make a difference?" Jeremiah asked.

Nunnally had a sad expression and sighed. Suddenly Nunnally noticed something and looked at the sky and when Jeremiah looked at where Nunnally was seeing, he was surprised. Meanwhile Lelouch and Rai looked at Euphie who was asleep.

"It seems that she has missed the both of you terribly," Rai said.

"Yeah," Lelouch said as she sighed and stood up and saw something in the sky.

Meanwhile Kallen and Alice were asleep and Suzaku just stood up and had a sad expression.

"Even with my shame," Suzaku said in his head, "I still try to find reason to go on living. I'm a disgrace."

Suzaku suddenly saw something in the sky. Meanwhile with Nonette and Naoto who were facing each other.

"Listen, what happened was tragic," Nonette said, "I despise the person who actually killed Lady Marianne and that's why I want to help them. I don't want them to continue this hopeless path."

"You actually think you can help them?" Naoto asked.

"I don't think I can," Nonette said, "I know I can."

"And their old man, the emperor?" Naoto asked.

"It's granted that they'll have answer for what they've done but I'm sure I can convince the emperor to not judge them so severely. After all I am one of the Knights of the Round. I'm one of his trusted knights."

"How naïve," Naoto said.

"Excuse you?" Nonette said upset.

"You can't help them," Naoto said, "Do you really think that you'll be able to really help them? There are only two things that will happen to them if you get your way. One, they get executed for rebelling against Britannia, royalty or not. The second, they get used as tools again for the emperor's benefit. It's obvious that Charles zi Britannia, your emperor doesn't give a damn about his own two kids. That was clear when he sent them to Japan and was willing to let them die and use them as martyr."

Nonette clenched her teeth and looked away, "That was…"

"You know it to be true Nonette," Naoto said, "and for some reason, you just don't want to admit."

Nonette clenched her fists and was shaking. They suddenly saw some sort of light that was seen on one of the clouds in the night sky.

"Is that…?" Naoto asked.

Meanwhile elsewhere within the island, the Avalon was on the island. In the bridge, Schneizel, Kanon, Bartley, Marrybell, and Lloyd were looking at the screen and saw the entrance of a cave.

"We couldn't find Euphie, Major Kururugi or Lady Enneagram washed ashore on Shikine so it's obvious we should look here on this island," Schneizel said.

"We'll send a search party first thing in the morning," Bartley said.

"So is this what you mentioned Bartley?" Kanon asked.

"Yes, we uncovered it some time ago," Bartley answered.

"I see," Schneizel said, "yes I can see why this would have attracted Clovis's interest.

The Next Morning

The sun was rising and the weather was a bit foggy. Suzaku, Alice, and Kallen were walking up a hill.

"Are you sure about the light you saw?" Kallen asked.

"Yeah, I'm positive," Suzaku answered, "I'm sure that it's coming from that direction."

"Okay, we'll take your word," Alice said.

Meanwhile Jeremiah and Nunnally were also walking a hill and Jeremiah was holding Nunnally's cape and mask.

"So I take it that the light we saw was for a search party," Nunnally said.

"Yes Your Highness," Jeremiah said, "I believe so as well."

"Hmm, in that case…" Nunnally spoke.

Meanwhile Nonette and Naoto were also walking up a hill following on the trail of the spotlight that Naoto saw.

"I'm certain that it's a search party," Nonette said.

"Possibly," Naoto said.

"You know, it's not too late," Nonette said, "You should really abandon the Black Knights. In fact, why don't you join me instead?"

"Like I told you last night, I refuse," Naoto said, "it's really hard for you to take no for an answer, isn't it?"

"Well excuse me for trying to help you," Nonette replied with a frown.

"This is you trying to help me?" Naoto replied and then he scoffed, "That's rich. Now you're asking me to betray my friends. Sorry but I'd rather die loyal then live as a traitor."

Nonette flinched because it was the same thing that Lelouch had said to her. Meanwhile with Lelouch, Euphie, and Rai, they were walking up a hill.

"That light is probably a search party," Lelouch deduced, "once we see who they are, we'll act accordingly."

"And if it's from the Britannian military?" Euphie asked.

"I'll figure a way to deal with them," Lelouch answered.

"Deal with them?" Euphie asked and she was worried, "Lelouch, when you say that you'll deal with them, what do you mean?"

Lelouch shifted his eyes before answering, "Best you don't worry about it."

"Okay, that just makes me worry," Euphie replied, "even more than I was a second ago."

"…Sorry," Lelouch replied.

Meanwhile within the cave, Schneizel and his team along with Kanon, Bartley, Marrybell, and Lloyd were looking over at an artifact in which it was actually a Thought Elevator.

"A Thought Elevator you say," Lloyd said, "I'm afraid archeology isn't my strong point especially this paranormal stuff."

"Why you… show some respect," Bartley berated.

"As I was saying," Lloyd continued, "this is way outside of my league. It would have been better to ask Miss Cecile for this instead."

"Please don't complain so much," Schneizel said annoyed, "my father is infatuated to this as well," Schneizel turned to Bartley, "Isn't that right Bartley?"

"I wonder…" Marrybell commented as she was suspicious.

"Yes it is true," Bartley answered, "We found artifacts similar to these in a number of places all over the world except for this one I discovered, all of the other sites are directly under imperial control. Now this is mere speculation on my part but I believe that real reason we're invading other countries is to obtain these artifacts."

"And so," Lloyd said as he looked at the black Knightmare Frame that was guarded by three foot soldiers, "in order to analyze this ancient occult data, you intend to use the Gawain's Druid System, an untuned prototype that it is."

"This is exactly why we called you Earl Asplund," Kanon said.

"Aha!" Lloyd responded excitedly.

Meanwhile outside, Lelouch, Rai, and Euphie were approaching the top of the ledge that would overlook the Avalon.

"How close are we?" Rai asked.

"It should be right around here," Lelouch said.

"Lelouch, Rai," Euphie said, "if it is a search party, would that mean that our time together is over?"

"…Yes, that's basically it," Lelouch said.

"I see," Euphie said with a sad expression, "that makes me sad."

Lelouch and Rai looked at each other and felt sad as well.

"Although our time was short, it is something that I will treasure," Lelouch said.

"Yeah, me too," Rai said.

"Will I be able to see either of you again?" Euphie asked.

"To be honest, I don't know," Lelouch replied.

"Is there some way?" Euphie asked being hopeful, "I want to be able meet with you again and I want to see Nunnally again."

"Lelouch, I'm sure we can find a way," Rai said.

"Rai," Lelouch said looking at his friend.

"What if we get help from Suzaku?" Euphie suggested.

Rai and Lelouch looked at Euphie surprised.

"Suzaku?" Lelouch asked.

"Yes, I mean you two are friends, right?" Euphie said with a smile, "Of course he doesn't need to know about you two being part of the Black Knights or for you Lelouch, the fact that you're Zero."

"Say Euphie, can I ask you something?" Lelouch asked.

"Hmm, sure what is it?" Euphie replied.

"I'm curious as to why you made Suzaku your knight but first, did Suzaku ever tell you what he did seven years ago?" Lelouch asked.

"Huh, what he did seven years ago?" Euphie asked confused.

"Yes, with his father," Lelouch clarified.

"His father?" Euphie replied confused, "Prime Minister Kururugi? Lelouch, what exactly are you asking?"

"Euphie," Lelouch said, "well it's just that—"

Lelouch stopped himself when he flinched and he and Rai looked back. They quickly took Euphie and hid in the bushes and Lelouch puts on his mask. Euphie was about to speak but Rai signaled her to be quiet and they look. They saw three people walking and they are surprised to see that it's Suzaku, Kallen, and Alice.

"Hey, what are those three doing together?" Rai asked quietly.

"I don't know," Lelouch responded.

Euphie on the other hand was happy to see Suzaku and came out of hiding.

"Suzaku!" Euphie said, "You're okay."

Suzaku, Alice, and Kallen were surprised to see Euphie.

"Princess Euphemia," Suzaku said.

Lelouch and Rai sighed at what Euphie did and Lelouch decided to follow suit and came out of hiding.

"Well this is unexpected," Zero said.

"Zero," Kallen and Alice said happy to see Zero.

"Kallen, Alice, are you two all right?" Zero asked.

"Yes we're fine," Kallen said, "we're glad to see you're okay Zero."

"Yeah, it's a good thing," Rai said as he came out of hiding.

Suzaku was shocked to see Rai while Kallen and Alice were happy to see Rai.

"Rai, is that you?" Suzaku asked.

"Hello Suzaku," Rai greeted with a wave.

Suzaku noticed the uniform that Rai was wearing and was not happy to see it.

"Rai, not you too," Suzaku said, "Please tell me that you're not a member of the Black Knights."

"Well I could tell you that," Rai responded with a shrug, "but then I'd be lying to you and I won't do that and it's obvious now so there's no point."

"Rai," Suzaku said upset as he clenched his fists and looked over to Euphie, "Princess Euphemia, they didn't hurt you in anyway, did they? Did they threaten you?"

"No, not at all," Euphie assured with a smile, "in fact, they went out of their way to make sure I was well. They actually helped me."

"And there you have Kururugi," Zero said, "Your princess is not harmed. The time we spent was enjoyable."

"Yeah, it was fun hanging with Princess Euphemia," Rai said happily.

"Geez, now you're making me jealous," Alice said with a smile.

"I wonder what it was like for you Lelouch," Kallen said in her head, "for you to be reunited with your half-sister after eight years."

"It's making me jealous as well," A female voice said.

They all looked and saw Void with Jeremiah.

"Void," Zero said and was surprised to see Jeremiah, "Jeremiah Gottwald?"

"Zero, I'm glad you're all okay," Void said as she looked around, "Rai, Kallen, Alice, thank goodness."

"Void, oh thank goodness," Alice said happily, "though I have to say I'm surprised to see Orange here."

Jeremiah flinched and looked at Alice with his thoughts, "She is Princess Nunnally's best friend, right?"

"Jeremiah," Euphie said.

"Princess Euphemia," Jeremiah said and then saw Suzaku, "Sir Kururugi."

"Lord Jeremiah," Suzaku said.

"Well, isn't this interesting," A female voice said.

The others looked and saw Naoto and Nonette and were surprised again.

"Nonette!" Euphie said.

"Naoto!" Kallen said.

Nonette saw Kallen and was surprised.

"Hey, aren't you Kallen?" Nonette asked, "Kallen Stadtfeld."

Kallen clenched her teeth at Nonette.

"Naoto, I'm glad to see that you're okay," Zero said.

"Yeah, I feel the same Zero," Naoto said.

"I wouldn't celebrate if I was you," Nonette said.

Nonette pulled out her gun and quickly held Naoto and pointed the barrel of the gun on Naoto's head. Everyone else was shocked at what Nonette was doing and Naoto clenched his teeth and glanced at Nonette who was now holding him hostage.

"Nonette, what the hell?" Naoto asked angrily, "Not a smart move."

"Be quiet," Nonette said coldly and then turned to Zero, "Zero, I don't think I need to tell you the implications of this situation."

"Nonette, what are you doing?" Euphie asked shocked at Nonette's choice of action.

"You bitch!" Kallen said angrily, "Let my brother go!"

"Brother?" Suzaku spoke surprised.

"Nonette, you just made a serious mistake," Zero said.

"Resorting in taking a hostage," Void said in a disgusted tone, "this low, even for you, even as a Knight of the Round."

"I was right not to trust you, you were armed," Zero said, "so tell me, were you going to shoot me and Void back in the pit on Shikine?"

"We wouldn't expected this from you," Void said, "You really sunk low."

"I don't have much of a choice," Nonette said, "I'm doing what needs to be done. Now Zero and Void, you two will listen to me. It's for your own good."

"Do you see this Suzaku?" Kallen said angrily and then turned to Suzaku, "These are the kind of people that you're willing to kiss up to."

"That doesn't mean that…" Suzaku spoke.

"Nonette, stop this now!" Euphie demanded.

"Euphie, you know you can't order me," Nonette said.

Euphie frowned and then she suddenly rushed and grabbed Nonette's arm that was holding the gun and Nonette and Suzaku were surprised at Euphie's action.

"Go," Euphie said to Naoto.

"Ah thanks," Naoto said as he moved away.

Nonette freed herself from Euphie.

"Euphie, what do you think you're doing?" Nonette asked upset.

"I should be asking you that!" Euphie replied upset, "This isn't like you at all!"

"I hope it was worth for you," Void said, "because you're going to pay severely for it," Void said as she drew one of her kunais.

"You'll pay," Alice said as she drew her handgun.

Zero also drew one of his kunais.

"No wait, please!" Euphie pleaded seeing what Zero, Void, and Alice had in mind.

"No, don't!" Suzaku said as he rushed towards Void and Alice.

Suddenly there was a huge red glow on the ground that was actually a Geass symbol. It surprised everyone and it seemingly activated Lelouch's Geass and Alice's Geass and Rai was shocked and memories started to flood in his mind and he was surprised as he was wide eyed and got on his knees.

Sword of Akasha, C's World

VV had a sadistic smile and was in glee in what was happening on Kamine Island.

"I got you," VV said as he was pleased.

Kamine Island

The ground that they were on started to give away and they began to fall much to the shock of them. In the cave, the tremors were going on and the Druid System of the Gawain was going crazy and the symbol on the Thought Elevator was glowing bright red. This shocked everyone and they didn't know what was really happening.

"Things have gotten dangerous," Marrybell commented.

Bartley got worried and all he could is think about the safety of Schneizel and Marrybell.

"Your Highnesses, please save yourselves!" Bartley pleaded.

The platform from above collapsed and there were four small groups that were standing on the platform that had collapsed. The rest were surprised to see them.

"Hey!" Marrybell spoke surprised.

"Major Kururugi and Lady Enneagram and Lord Jeremiah!" Lloyd said, "Wait, those two are…Zero and Void!"

Zero and Void and saw that were they were now. Nonette and Jeremiah were shocked to see where they were and who they saw and the rest saw and were shocked as well except for Rai who was still on his knees and was shocked.

"Bartley?" Jeremiah said shocked.

"Jeremiah!" Bartley said shocked.

"Jeremiah, is that really you?" Marrybell asked shocked, "So that them, that's Zero and Void."

"Oh, this is not good," Alice said.

"Damn," Zero said.

Soldiers pointed their rifles at Zero and Void and when Bartley saw what they doing, he quickly intervened.

"Don't shoot you fools!" Bartley said, "Princess Euphemia and Lady Enneagram are there! Capture them, capture them!"

Rai was able to shake himself and looked and saw the Gawain.

"Zero, Void, there's a Knightmare over there!" Rai said pointing at the Gawain.

Zero, Void, Alice, Naoto, and Kallen saw the Gawain and were pleased.

"That's perfect, we'll use that," Zero said, "let's go!"

"Yes," Void, Naoto, Rai, Alice, and Kallen said together.

Foot soldiers were rushing trying to stop the Black Knights but Naoto and Kallen started to fight them off and Alice did the same. Zero and Void got on the Knightmare. Nonette rushed over to stop them but was stopped by Rai and Naoto. Kanon and Schneizel noticed someone and they were surprised.

"Prince Schneizel, isn't that…?" Kanon spoke.

"Yes," Schneizel said and walked up a bit, "Naoto! Naoto Stadtfeld, is that you?"

Naoto and Kallen were shocked and saw Schneizel and Kanon and Naoto was shocked to see them.

"Kanon and Prince Schneizel," Naoto said.

"I don't believe this," Kanon said, "it really is you."

Euphie was concentrating on Suzaku as for some reason Suzaku appeared frozen and looked scared as he looked upward and Euphie was worried for her knight. Meanwhile Zero and Void were in the cockpit of the Gawain.

"This is excellent," Zero said, "it's not only unmanned but it's activated as well."

Void waved at their two deputy commanders and their elite guard captains.

"Hurry, get over here!" Void called out, "We need to get out of here!"

"No, I won't let you!" Nonette declared as she started shooting with her gun.

Alice, Rai, Kallen, and Naoto countered Nonette and the soldiers rushing after them by shooting with the rifles they took from the soldiers they took down. It forced Nonette to retreat and the soldier to shoot back.

"Form a wall to protect Princess Euphemia and Lady Enneagram!" One of the soldiers ordered.

Zero was getting the Gawain ready and was pleased as he closed the pod of the Gawain.

"It's our lucky day," Zero said.

Void noticed someone and was shocked.

"Brother, look!" Void said.

"Huh, what's wrong?" Zero asked and then he saw who Void saw and he was shocked as well, "Schneizel!"

"Marrybell is there as well," Void said.

Meanwhile Schneizel and Marrybell looked on surprised.

"So that's him?" Schneizel asked, "That's Zero who I've been hearing about?"

"Then the other must be Void, Zero's sister," Marrybell said.

The Gawain started to move and Kallen, Naoto, Rai, and Alice were able to get on the Knightmare. Kallen and Naoto got on the left side while Rai and Alice got on the right side.

"No, the Gawain!" Lloyd said.

"Get it back!" Bartley ordered the soldiers, "Stop them! We can't let it fall in Zero's hands!"

In the cockpit, Zero took the controls.

"Why are they here?" Void asked, "Schneizel and Marrybell."

"I don't think that matters right now," Zero said, "but we are going to have to face them eventually."

Sutherlands were rushing towards the cave with the intent to stop the Gawain from leaving as the Gawain itself moved.

"Zero, Void, we got Sutherlands blocking our exit!" Kallen said.

"Just hang on!" Zero said, "I'll go through them!"

"Huh?" Kallen replied.

"Seriously?" Naoto asked.

Rai and Alice wondered what Zero meant as well. Zero used the Hadron Cannon of the Gawain and fired at the Sutherlands surprising the people on the Gawain but weapon was imperfect and didn't get anyone.

"Damn, not good," Zero said as he and Void took off their masks, "the weapons are not perfected well."

Back with Suzaku, he was finally able to move and wondered what had happened to him.

"So are you finally awake?" Nonette asked.

Suzaku saw Nonette and Jeremiah just looking at him and saw Euphie looked at him with worry. Back with the Gawain, the Knightmare was out of the cave and rushing to get away and more Sutherlands showed up with rifles ready to shoot the Gawain.

"Hey, we got more company!" Alice said.

In the cockpit of the Gawain, Lelouch grinned.

"Don't worry," Lelouch assured, "another system is operational. Prepare to be amazed."

Lelouch pulled the level and the Gawain started to levitate from the ground and was up in the air which surprised and amazed the others with him.

"Hey, we're flying!" Kallen said.

"Whoa damn!" Naoto said impressed.

"This is so cool!" Alice said excited.

"This is wonderful," Nunnally said, "this Knightmare can fly!"

Lelouch laughed victoriously as he continued to pilot the Gawain.

"A new addition Knightmare Frame for the Black Knights!" Lelouch declared.

The Gawain flew and it had escaped from the Britannian forces' grasps. Back on the island, Bartley was mortified with had happened and Lloyd was shocked and thought that once again Zero took something that wasn't his as Euphie, Suzaku, Jeremiah, and Nonette came out of the cave.

"He really enjoys stealing things from us," Lloyd commented.

"Our Gawain!" Bartley wailed, "Our beautiful prized Gawain!"

"Oh Bartley looks like he's about to cry," Nonette commented.

"Oh well, it was just an experimental prototype," Schneizel said and then he turned to the four coming out of the cave and smiled, "aside from that, I'm glad that you four are all right."

"Yes, thank heavens," Kanon said.

Schneizel and Kanon smiled at them and Euphie was happy to see Schneizel.

"Oh Schneizel, I missed you," Euphie said happily as she rushed to go to her older half-brother.

"Kanon, it's good to see you again," Nonette said happily.

"Nonette, it's been a while," Kanon said happily, "how have you been?"

"Oh just busy," Nonette said.

"Yes so I've heard," Kanon said with a smile.

"Dear Euphie," Schneizel said, "I'm glad to see you again. I'm sorry we took so long."

"Oh no, don't worry about it," Euphie assured kindly.

"Euphie!" Marrybell called out.

Euphie saw Marrybell and was happy.

"Marry!" Euphie said happily.

Marry hugged Euphie and laughing with joy.

"I'm so glad to see you again," Marrybell said, "I was so worried after what had happened."

Marrybell released her hug and the half-sisters looked at each other with smiles.

"Princess Euphemia," Kanon said.

Euphie looked at Kanon and smiled as well.

"Kanon, it's good to see you again," Euphie said.

"Same to you," Kanon said with a nod and then he turned to Jeremiah, "Jeremiah…"

"Jeremiah, I'm glad to see that you're safe as well," Schneizel said.

"Prince Schneizel," Jeremiah said with respect, "it's good to see you again Your Highness and you as well Kanon."

"Yes," Kanon said and then he had a sad expression, "unfortunately, I'm afraid this is not a pleasant circumstance for you."

"Huh?" Jeremiah replied confused.

"Kanon, is something wrong?" Nonette asked worried.

Euphie and Suzaku wondered what was wrong and Marrybell frowned at Jeremiah. Schneizel and Kanon turned to the Shikine Island soldiers and nodded.

"Proceed," Schneizel said.

"Yes Your Highness," One of the soldiers said and approached Jeremiah, "Lord Jeremiah Gottwald, you're under arrest for violating military procedure and suspicion of treason."

This shocked Euphie, Nonette, and Suzaku but Jeremiah was not surprised as he knew why he was being arrested.

"Wait, what's going on?" Euphie asked.

"Yeah why is Jeremiah being arrested?" Nonette asked.

"It's because of his actions back on Shikine Island," A male voice said.

Suzaku, Nonette, Euphie, and Jeremiah looked and were surprised to see Jarvis.

"Jarvis?" Nonette spoke surprised, "What the hell are you doing here?"

"He was assigned to accompany me by His Majesty," Schneizel said.

"I was also to… well assist with the work with the artifact here," Jarvis said, "but anyway in regards to Jeremiah's arrest. You see, this fool decided to rush off within Shikine after escorting Nonette out and intentionally cut off communications with Prince Castor and Prince Pollux. Not only that, they have reason to believe that Jeremiah's true intent was to actually aid Zero and Void."

This is shocked Euphie, Suzaku, and Nonette and they looked at Jeremiah who didn't react.

"Hey Jeremiah, is this true?" Nonette asked.

"If you have something to say in your defense Jeremiah, then please speak up," Kanon said.

Jeremiah just looked the people staring at him and thought about the time he spent with Nunnally who was Void.

"I have nothing to say," Jeremiah said.

"Lord Jeremiah," Suzaku said surprised.

"If it turns out to be actually true," Jarvis said with a serious expression, "then you Jeremiah have really committed treason... you're most likely to be executed."

"Even so, I won't betray Prince Lelouch and Princess Nunnally," Jeremiah said in his head.

"Of course this is all speculation by Castor and Pollux," Schneizel said, "we don't know if Jeremiah was actually aiming to help Zero and Void or he was actually trying to help Major Kururugi here or even end Zero and Void by himself and got overzealous. He is guilty of violating military procedure… that is a fact."

"We'll determine the whole truth although it's not helping Jeremiah that he has nothing to say," Marrybell said.

Jarvis turned to Suzaku, "You, you're Suzaku Kururugi, right?"

"Uh yes, that's me," Suzaku said respectfully.

"Suzaku is my knight," Euphie said as she went and stood next to Suzaku.

"Yeah I've heard," Jarvis said, "an Eleven as your knight. Well considering that it's you Princess Euphemia, I suppose that you would do something like this. But so far you Kururugi, you don't impress me kid."

"Sir Trenton," Euphie said with a glare, "I would appreciate it if you didn't insult my knight."

"Jarvis, are you seriously picking a fight right now?" Nonette asked.

"Getting all defensive," Jarvis said, "but then again, you haven't heard."

"Heard what?" Euphie asked.

"Something occurred yesterday Euphie," Marrybell said and she looked at Suzaku, "and it has to do with your knight."

"With me?" Suzaku asked confused.

"Um Marry, what are you talking about?" Euphie asked confused.

"Let's head back to Shikine Island," Schneizel said, "and you'll know."

Somewhere in the air

The Gawain was still flying.

"I was able to get in contact with Keitaro," Lelouch said, "we'll be able to meet up with him and the others."

"That's great," Naoto said.

"And our Knightmare?" Kallen asked.

"Yes, they were all recovered," Lelouch said, "Todoh, the Four Holy Swords, CC, and Jinta recovered them for us. We have them to thank for it."

"Great," Naoto said.

"Oh thank goodness," Alice said.

"I also spoke to Diethard," Lelouch said, "he was able to receive it and used it."

"So he was to get the final piece that I made," Nunnally said.

"Yes, both contents were uploaded on the net yesterday," Lelouch said.

"So now it's known," Kallen said, "hmph, it serves him right."

"He's going to be so upset when he finds out," Alice said.

"Are you feeling sorry for him Alice?" Naoto asked.

"Hmm, not really," Alice said, "I was just saying."

"Well I can't help but to feel a little sorry for Suzaku," Nunnally said, "I mean we know he didn't do it intentionally."

"We know that and the people will know that as well," Lelouch said.

Rai had his hand on the side of his head and looked straight with a sad expression.

"I remember," Rai said in his head as Geass appeared on his left eye.

Shikine Island

In the military base within Shikine Island, Suzaku, Euphie, and Marrybell met with Cecile and Fayer along with the several soldiers there. Cecile was glad to see Suzaku and Euphie and Suzaku and Euphie was glad to see Cecile but Fayer on the other hand was not in a pleasant mood as he was not impressed with Suzaku and he injected him to speak to Suzaku.

"We're still unable to confirm how you managed to get out of the Lancelot Major Kururugi," Fayer said, "but regardless it doesn't change the fact that you failed miserably to put an end to Zero. The chance we had to finally end the terrorist and you let him slip through your fingers. What do you have to say for yourself?"

"I'm sorry," Suzaku said sadly with his head down.

"Sorry isn't going to cut it," Fayer said harshly, "you have let down the empire."

"Now wait—" Euphie spoke.

"Although I don't agree with the planning," Marrybell interjected, "what happened here is going to be the least of your worries."

"What do you mean?" Suzaku asked.

"You said something happened," Euphie said, "What is it?"

Fayer sighed and turned to one of his subordinates.

"Turn on the screen," Fayer ordered.

"Sir," One of the soldier replied.

The soldier turned on the screen and it showed the news of the people in Japan being very angry and demanding Suzaku Kururugi to pay. Suzaku was being accused to be a power-hungry traitor and some were demanding his blood to be spilled. Suzaku and Euphie were shocked in what they were seeing in the news.

"This is going on all over Area 11," Cecile said, "this started two days ago."

"I don't understand," Suzaku said, "why are they being like this? Do they really resent me trying to work hard as a soldier of Britannia?"

"Is this my fault?" Euphie asked feeling ashamed, "Do they resent Suzaku accepting to be my knight?"

"No, it's not you," Suzaku immediately said, "I'm sure of it."

"It's true, it's about what Kururugi here did," Marrybell said.

"What do you mean?" Suzaku said.

"Miss Cecile if you will," Marrybell said.

"Yes," Cecile said with a sad expression.

Cecile went to the laptop that was on the table and went on the internet.

"This was uploaded on the internet two days ago," Cecile said, "take a look and you'll see."

Suzaku and Euphie saw what Cecile showed and then Suzaku was wide eyed at what he saw. It was about the fact that he killed his father and it showed details of proof of the fact that he killed his father. Euphie was shocked in what she was seeing as well. They also saw that one responsible for leak of Suzaku's action on the net was Zero and Void.

"This is…" Suzaku said shocked.

"Is this really…?" Euphie asked.

"It seems that Zero and Void had the details of the truth of Prime Minister Kururugi's death uploaded on the net," Marrybell said, "and there was something added to it after the detail was put up."

"There is also a recording Suzaku," Cecile said.

"A recording?" Suzaku asked still shocked.

"Yes," Cecile said, "it's of you, Zero, and Void."

The recording on the net was played and Suzaku realized that it was when he was in the sandpit with Nonette, Zero, and Void and it started with Void asking Suzaku what would have happened if Japan had fought to the last to where Suzaku admitted that it wasn't what he had wanted but felt that he had to do it because if not, Japan would have been destroyed. Suzaku was mortified to learn that Zero and Void had recorded the conversation between them. Euphie gasped and looked at Suzaku.

"Suzaku, is this…?" Euphie asked.

Suzaku looked at Euphie and but didn't say anything and he just looked down in shame.

That's it for this chapter. Next chapter: Kyushu is invaded and occupied by the forces led by Atsushi Sawasaki backed by the Chinese Federation.
