Returning Back to Japan
Within the Sword of Akasha, Charles was standing on the platform and looked on and thought about what was going on in Japan and at the uncharted island. Charles closed his eyes and thought about three of his children and it was Lelouch, Nunnally, and Euphemia.
"So it seems that they will make it through," Charles said, "how disappointing for Big Brother. So now to see what is next although," Charles sported a grin, "I know what's going to happen next. I am drawn to this. Show me Lelouch, show me Nunnally, show me how you will go about this next. I'm curious as how far you will go before the end when the Ragnarok Connection takes place and puts an end to everything. To destroyed the old world and make it anew," Charles suddenly thought of an idea, "Oh yes that can definitely work. I'll have them take care of it."
Area 11
VV was looking on from a distance of what was going on with the Special Zone and he was not pleased with what was going on. Not only was Euphemia still alive and was somewhere not found but the fact that three GX 01 pilots specifically Sancia, Lucretia, and Dalque had turned on the others and therefore actually betraying him. VV was livid and was angrier at the fact that three girls that he gave Geass to were actually betraying him.
"They dare do this," VV said, "they have the guts to actually betray me," VV had a bit of an insane expression, "no you don't betray me and get away with it. First Alice and now those three but I will make sure they pay for this," VV picked up his cell phone, dialed a number and held it on his ear and got an answer, "yes it's me. We still have a lot more units, right?" VV was silent and got his answer, "Good, send them all in, all of them in in the Special Zone. Actually have them all spread out. I want the efforts upped to find Euphemia and kill her and the others with her including the traitors," VV was silent when the person on the other line spoke and then VV respond, "I realize how it's going to look. I don't care, just do it, I want them all dead. I don 't care if you have to destroy half or even all of Area 11 to do it, just get it done."
VV hung up the phone and sported a sadistic grin. Suddenly there was a ring from his cell phone.
"What is it?" VV answered his phone and when he was told something, he was shocked, "What?! When?!"
Meanwhile within Mt. Fuji, Zero and Void appeared on the screen speaking with the Clan Leaders of Kyoto as well as Euphie, Suzaku, and Jeremiah.
"We'll be there soon," Zero said, "let it be known that the Black Knights are coming back to Japan and we will mete out justice against the ones committing the acts against the innocent people and we will take down the ones behind this."
"No, that won't be necessary," Suzaku said suddenly.
Suzaku's statement surprised the others and it even surprised Zero and Void.
"Suzaku, what are you saying?" Euphie asked.
"We don't need the Black Knights," Suzaku said, "We can actually solve this on our own. We already have Glinda Knights helping the people in the zone. So Zero and Void, I don't think that you need to be here to help. In fact, I can actually go out and stop the violence as well with the Lancelot."
"Suzaku, you…" Euphie spoke.
"Don't worry Your Highness," Suzaku said as he looked at Euphie, "I know that I can end this. I can stop the violence and we can find out who's actually behind the attack ourselves."
"Is that so?" Void replied.
"Yes, so with that," Suzaku said looking at Zero and Void, "you don't need to come back to Japan. In fact to be honest, I don't think that you'll be able to do much of anything by the time you get here anyway," Suzaku glared at Zero and Void, "besides you'll just make the situation worse. After all, it was the major reason why you all of the Black Knights left Japan in the first place."
Euphie had a worried expression as she looked at Suzaku while Kirihara sighed and shook his head and Kaguya looked at her cousin with disbelief. Zero and Void looked at Suzaku and behind their masks they narrowed their eyes at Suzaku. They both sighed and shook their heads.
"Do you seriously believe that?" Zero asked.
"Of course I do," Suzaku said.
"Well unfortunately for you Kururugi, we're going to ignore what you just suggested," Zero said, "we promised to come back if people in Japan are threatened and put in danger and that is what is happening right now. We cannot turn our backs on this. Our creed as the Black Knights is to fight for the people who are powerless, who are victimized by those with power and right now that is happening at this moment by the people who has caused that explosion and framed Euphemia."
Suzaku closed his eyes and frowned.
"Yeah of course that's your response," Suzaku said, "you would never turn away from things like this. I know that you made the promise to come back if trouble occurred. I know that…"
"Suzaku, you…" Euphie spoke.
"Then surely you can understand Kururugi," Void said.
"Yes I do understand and in this case, I'll just end this before you have the chance to do anything when you get back and do anything," Suzaku said with confidence.
"You think you can solve this before we get back in Japan?" Zero asked.
"Of course I can," Kururugi said with determination.
"Kururugi, we don't have the luxury to decide who should fight and who shouldn't fight against the perpetrators," Void said, "this is not supposed to be a competition."
"We want to same thing," Zero added, "and that is the stop attacks and killing of innocent people."
"Zero and Void," Kirihara said as he and Kaguya stepped up, "we will be waiting for your return."
"So please do what you can to stop this as well," Kaguya added.
"Of course," Void said, "we'll be there very soon."
"Euphemia," Zero said.
"Yes?" Euphie replied.
"Do not worry," Zero said with a kind tone, "we're going to solve this and prove your innocence."
Euphie smiled and nodded with a tear.
"I know," Euphie said, "thank you."
Zero and Void cut off transmission and Suzaku looked at Euphie and was a bit shocked with how much faith that Euphie had for Zero and Void.
"Suzaku," Euphie spoke.
"Yes?" Suzaku replied.
"I'm not sure with how you're going to go forward," Euphie said, "but please understand that going against the Black Knights is not going to help in this situation."
"…I know what you're saying," Suzaku said, "I get it… but please, I know that they seem helpful and yeah they have been helpful in the past but I feel that it would be the best to not rely on them so much."
'Do you seriously believe that we would be better off without the Black Knights?" Kirihara asked.
"I do," Suzaku immediately answered.
"Tch, it's unbelievable that you would still insist on that young Kururugi," Kubouin said annoyed.
"You know I bet you still insistent on that nonsense is because Zero and Void exposed you for what he did," Munakata said.
"Of course," Osakabe said, "and the fact the Black Knights have actually given hope to people and done what they said they will do, something that have you not been able to do with all your talk of changing Britannia from within."
"That's enough," Kirihara said.
The other clan leaders looked at Kirihara who frowned and Suzaku clenched his teeth at the things that the old men were saying.
"Kirihara, you know it to be true yourself," Kubouin said, "despite the fact that you covered for the boy, he still—"
"Stop," Kirihara interjected, "just stop."
Kirihara clenched on his cane and the other clan leaders looked at Kirihara and so did Euphie and Jeremiah.
"Fine," Kubouin said with a frown.
"Then we'll say no more on the subject," Munakata said.
Suzaku had his back to them and clenched his fists.
"I'm going to go now and put an end to this," Suzaku said and then he turned to Jeremiah, "Lord Jeremiah, if I may make a request…"
"Don't worry Sir Kururugi," Jeremiah assured, "you can be assured that I will look after Her Highness."
"Thank you," Suzaku said with a nod.
"Suzaku, please be careful out there," Euphie said, "And please help the people you see."
"I will," Suzaku assured with a nod and then pressed the button on his small intercom, "Miss Cecile."
"Yes Suzaku," Cecile replied on the other line.
Euphie looked to the floor and was worried about things and people while Kaguya looked at Euphie and she felt sorry for her and she thought about Lelouch and Nunnally hoping that they stay safe. Not long afterwards, the Lancelot went on its way back to the Special Zone with Suzaku in the cockpit.
"I'm going to stop this," Suzaku said, "I have to stop this before the Black Knights come back."
In the sky
In the Knightmare Hanger within the flagship that actually belonged to the twin princes Castor and Pollux rui Britannia, the Research and Development Team were about finished of having float units installed in the Knightmares that were going to be lead to Japan to aid the people who were being attacked. Zero and Void entered in the Knightmare Hanger along with Rai, Alice, Kallen, Naoto, and Todoh.
"You're here," Rakshata said.
Rakshata approached the group with Diethard and Sayoko.
"You're here," Diethard said, "and… they're ready."
"You can start to head back to Japan," Sayoko said.
"Okay," Zero said, "we start now."
"Then it time for us to head back and protect the people in Japan and put an end to the heinous act perpetrated," Todoh said.
"Not only that," Naoto said, "to make our stand in Japan."
"It is most likely that we will do what we originally set out to do after all," Kallen said.
"Yes," Zero said, "let's move. We need to hurry."
The seven people went and mounted on their Knightmare Frames.
"Zero, we have an update," Minami contacted from the bridge.
"What is it?" Zero replied.
"More Knightmare units are moving in to Japan via VTOLs," Minami said, "and not only that, they seem to be spreading out as well so it may not actually just be in the Special Zone and around Mt. Fuji."
"Wait, does that mean that they're going to spread up to all of Japan?" Kallen asked.
"That's most likely going to happen," CC said on an intercom, "they haven't found Euphemia and they are upping their efforts to go after the people that are being protected by the Glinda Knights."
"They're going this far," Void said, "So it's not enough for them to just wreck the Special Zone."
"It's VV," CC contacted, "he's hell bent of ending Euphemia's life."
"Why does he want Euphie dead so badly?" Rai asked.
"We can think about it after we get to them and stop them," Zero said, "right now let's concentrate our efforts of stopping the attacks on innocent people."
"Zero's right," Todoh said, "we should move."
The Knightmares were being activated and the hatch from the Knightmare Hanger was being opened as people were stepping back as the Knightmares were being ready to head out.
"This is it," Zero said as he was speaking throughout the flagship, "our objective is to land in Japan and protect Euphemia as well as the people being targeted by the perpetrators who are actually under the command of VV. Afterwards, we will make our stance in Japan. We can no longer leave Japan to be after what has occurred. We the Black Knights will mete out justice against those who have targeted the innocent."
"Yeah!" Everyone in the flagship responded in unison.
In the bridge, the Black Knights that were operating were calculating on their launch and had everything set as they continued on to their destination.
"We're continuing maintaining course for Japan," Minami said.
"Preparations all clear," Sugiyama said.
"Ready to launch," Inoue said.
In the cockpit of the Lionel, Lelouch took off his mask and looked on as he was ready.
"Ready," Lelouch said.
In the cockpit of the Lucan, Nunnally also took off her mask and looked on as she was ready.
"Just hang on Euphie," Nunnally said, "we're coming to help you… hang on everyone… we won't let you down."
In the bridge, Minami, Sugiyama, and Inoue nodded.
"It's time," Minami said, "beginning launch."
"Lionel, Lucan, and Fenrir," Sugiyama said, "now launching."
"Guren Mk-II, Seiryu, Gekka, and Vierge," Inoue said, "now launching."
In the cockpits of the readied Knightmares, the pilots nodded.
"Now launch!" Lelouch, Nunnally, Rai, Alice, Naoto, Kallen, and Todoh said in unison.
Outside of the flagship, the Lionel, Lucan, Guren Mk-II, Seiryu, Fenrir, Vierge, and the customized Gekka were launched out of the flagship and were flying in the air as they were making their way to Japan.
"Flights successful," Zero declared.
"We're really flying," Kallen said.
"Yeah, now it won't be just the Gawain," Rai said.
"The Gawain," Alice said, "I am worried about Milly and Shirley. I hope they're okay."
"So am I," Void said.
"Don't worry," Zero said, "they'll be fine. I have faith in them. They know what they're doing."
"Yes and besides that," Void said, "they were able to help Cornelia."
In the cockpit of the Lionel, Lelouch had his thoughts and wondered how Cornelia was going to respond going forward after everything that just happened to Euphemia.
Area 11
Suzaku piloting the Lancelot was making his way to do whatever it took the stop the violence.
"Suzaku, we have an update of the situation," Cecile contacted.
"What is it Miss Cecile?" Suzaku replied.
"The situation is actually getting worse," Cecile said.
"What do you mean?" Suzaku asked.
"More Knightmare units are arriving via VTOLs and they seem to be spreading out," Cecile said.
"Spreading out?" Suzaku replied as he was confused, "What do you mean?"
"We're not sure," Lloyd spoke, "But we're sure it's not anything good."
"Then I need to stop them," Suzaku said, "whatever it takes I have to put an end to this before the Black Knights arrive back."
"Oh dear, well that may be impossible," Lloyd said.
"Huh, what do you say that?" Suzaku asked.
"You said that the Black Knights were coming back, right?" Lloyd said.
"Yes which is why I need to hurry," Suzaku said.
"More units are coming and they are spreading all over Japan," Lloyd said, "not even you will be able to stop all of this by the time they get back and think of this… how many more people will end up being killed in the process?"
"Are you saying that I will fail?" Suzaku asked sounding upset.
"Suzaku, the situation is worse and with the way things are going and I know you won't like to hear this," Cecile said, "but it's not possible to end before the Black Knights come back."
"I can if I reason with them," Suzaku said, "and get them to convey to the ones in charge."
"You're making the assumption that they would actually listen to you," Lloyd said.
In the bridge of the Avalon, Lloyd had his arms crossed and Cecile had a sad expression.
"You know that they will be gunning for you as well," Lloyd continued, "and besides from what you and the people with you have informed, the Black Knights are coming back. My guess is that they will speed up in their return. They're not going to let this lying down."
"Then I need to end this before they come back," Suzaku said.
"Suzaku, aren't you listening?" Cecile responded shaking her head, "Even with the Lancelot, it's not possible to take all of them down, especially since they have Knightmare units spreading all over Area 11 now."
"Boy, you really want to one up the Black Knights so badly, don't you?" Lloyd said as he was amused.
In the cockpit of the Lancelot, Suzaku clenched his teeth and shook his head.
"I'm just doing what needs to be done," Suzaku said determined, "we don't need the Black Knights and we shouldn't rely on them."
Suzaku suddenly picked up a few signatures and he looked and a few GX 01 Knightmares suddenly showed up and faced the Lancelot.
"There," One of the Knightmare pilots said, "that's the Lancelot piloted by Euphemia's knight."
The GX 01 Knightmares drew their rifles and pointed at the Lancelot.
"Destroy the Lancelot!" Another pilot said, "Kill that Eleven knight!"
"No stop!" Suzaku said, "We're supposed to be on the same side. Please this is all a mistake!"
"Enough, just shut up and die!" Another pilot said.
"Kill him," Another pilot said, "kill him and then we'll kill Euphemia!"
"No, I won't let you!" Suzaku declared.
The GX 01 Knightmares fired their rifles at the Lancelot and Lancelot reacted by quickly activated its shield and then it started dodging the bullets and charging towards the opposing Knightmares as the Lancelot drew its MVSs. The Lancelot struck down one of the Knightmares. It surprised the other Knightmare pilots and tried to strike the Lancelot down but Suzaku was able to strike them down with the Lancelot's MVSs. In the cockpit, Suzaku looked around and was upset cursing the fact he couldn't convince them and that he had to act. Meanwhile the Gawain had just landed on in the abandoned stadium in Shinjuku with Cornelia in tow. The Gawain brought its arms down in which allowed Cornelia to stand on the ground. Cornelia looks around and saw where they were.
"So we're here in Shinjuku," Cornelia said and turned to the Gawain, "I suppose that I owe you for saving me."
The pilots in the Gawain were silent and Cornelia was a bit disappointed that she didn't get a response.
"Won't you reveal yourself to me?" Cornelia asked, "I know that you are part of the Black Knights," Cornelia got the silent treatment and sighed, "I suppose that you won't tell me. You won't even confirm or deny it what I said about you being part of the Black Knights."
In the cockpit of the Gawain, Milly and Shirley looked at Cornelia and then they looked at each other and then Shirley pressed a button to contact someone. They suddenly got signatures and what they saw was several aircrafts in the air and several Knightmare Frames that were moving and heading towards them. In the cockpit, Shirley and Milly were shocked.
"Oh, not good," Shirley said.
On the ground, Cornelia was surprised in what she was seeing.
"What is this?" Cornelia asked, "More of them."
The Gawain quickly extended its hand to have Cornelia get on. The Gawain was getting shot at and they looked and saw that more Knightmare Frames were coming from the other side and shooting the Gawain. In the cockpit, Milly and Shirley clenched their teeth.
"This is not good," Milly said, "we're in a bad spot right now."
They piloted the Gawain to move back as it was protecting Cornelia and fired Hadron Cannons at the Knightmares and got some of the opposing Knightmares.
"Gawain, do you copy?" Zero contacted.
"Zero," Shirley replied, "Lulu!"
"We copy," Milly said.
Meanwhile in the Shizuoka Ghetto, GX 01 Knightmares were roaming and looking around for people while shooting their rifles.
"Kill Euphemia and everyone else you see," One of the Knightmare pilots ordered, "don't even let a single one of these Elevens alive."
"That also goes to the ones with them," Another Knightmare pilot said, "especially the Glinda Knights led by Princess Marrybell."
"Understood," Another Knightmare pilot said, "Princess Marrybell and the Glinda Knights are to be executed as well as traitors."
As the Knightmares continued to move through the ghetto, people in the ghetto were looking out as they were hiding fearing for their lives.
"What is going on?" A woman asked.
"Why are they roaming here?" Another woman asked, "We don't even have anything to do with the zone."
"I heard that Euphemia sparked the disaster in the zone," A man said, "A lot of people in the zone were killed."
"So she was trying to lure everyone to a death trap," A teenage boy said bitterly.
Elsewhere within Shizuoka, one Glinda Knight came out of hiding and looked on and saw GX 01 Knightmares roaming. The Glinda Knight that looked on was a dark skinned teenage girl with bright blue hair and red eyes and she was Toto Thompson. She looked on with worried and then she hurried off. Not long she arrived at a place where she was met by two Glinda Knights. Meanwhile somewhere hidden that was not far from the Special Zone with Oldrin and Leonhardt and the people they were protecting, Oldrin was listening from her intercom and was getting an update of the situation.
"I understand," Oldrin said and then she nodded, "yes of course. We may need to move but that's going to be difficult with all the people here with us," Oldrin turned around and spoke softly when she spoke, "I hope they hurry. Despite who they are, we can really use their help."
The person on the other spoke and then cut off communication. Oldrin sighed and then she turned to Leonhardt.
"Leo, we're moving out," Oldrin said.
Leonhardt looked at Oldrin and narrowed his eyes, "Are you sure it's wise? It's not safe out there."
"We don't have a choice," Oldrin said as she approached Leonhardt, "the situation has gotten worse. Despite the efforts of Her Highness and the others with her, the perpetrators have upped their efforts. They now have units that have spread out all over in Area 11 right now."
"I see," Leonhardt said with a frown, "yeah this is bad. But how are we going to move and protect everyone here?"
Leonhardt and Oldrin looked to the Japanese people that they were looking over. Meanwhile within the Special Zone, the three GX 01 Knightmares piloted by Sancia, Lucretia, and Dalque just took down the last three Knightmares. Marrybell in her own Knightmares came by and faced the three GX 01 Knightmares after she had led Cornelia's loyal subordinates including Cornelia's knight Guilford, Cornelia's adviser Darlton and even the Glaston Knights away to safety since they had their Knightmares wrecked.
"Thank you for what you did," Marrybell said.
"We didn't do it for you Your Highness," Sancia said.
"I know but I still appreciate it," Marrybell said.
"Princess Marrybell," A male voice called.
The four individuals looked and saw the Lancelot approaching them.
"Sir Kururugi," Marrybell said, "why are you here? You should be with my sister Euphemia. Where is she? If I find that something happened to her…"
"Please rests assure that Princess Euphemia is fine," Suzaku said, "she's safe, she's with people that I can trust along with Lord Jeremiah."
"Wait a minute, people that you trust?" Marrybell asked.
"Yes," Suzaku said, "as to why I'm here," Suzaku said, "I'm here to help put to an end to this. I came here to end the fighting and stop the madness."
"Kururugi…" Marrybell said.
Signatures were suddenly picked up and they found that more Knightmares were arriving and quickly surrounded the three GX 01s, the Lancelot, and the Knightmare that Marrybell piloted.
"More of them?" Lucretia spoke.
"It would seem so," Dalque said.
The Knightmares that had arrived drew their rifles and Stun Tonfas and were poised to take down the five Knightmare in front of them.
"Are you here to kill us as well?" Marrybell asked.
"Yes by orders," One of the Knightmare pilots said, "Marrybell mel Britannia, you are hereby to be eliminated as a terrorist and the three pilots that had just betrayed us are to be executed as traitors and conspiring against Britannia."
"Wait, stop," Suzaku said as he had the Lancelot be in front of the four Knightmares, "this is wrong. Surely you know that it is."
"Suzaku Kururugi," Another Knightmare pilot said, "knight of the traitorous Princess Euphemia, you are also to be eliminated for aiding the treasonous third princess of conspiring with terrorists to rebel against Britannia."
"No, this isn't right," Suzaku responded, "this doesn't make sense. We all serve Britannia. We're on the same side! This is a huge mistake! Princess Euphemia is not the one in the wrong! She didn't commit those acts! She's not a terrorist, she just wanted to usher peace here between people! Please, let's stop this. We should be working together, not against each other!"
"We have no need to listen to terrorists, traitors, and filthy Elevens, and foolish Numbers," Another Knightmare pilot said, "all those who stand against the great empire of Britannia needs to be eliminated!"
Meanwhile in the bar within the Tokyo Settlement, the television was on showing the news reporting the situation regarding the Special Zone. People in the bar were watching the news report and Villetta was among the patrons watching the news as she just sipped her alcoholic beverage.
"The situation with the Special Zone is still ongoing," A male news reporter stated, "the former Third Princess Euphemia, who sparked the conflict in the Special Zone, has gone into hiding. However it is only a matter a time before she and her conspirators are found and punished for the treachery committed. We will be keeping you up to date of the situation of Euphemia and the Special Zone."
"Hmph, so this Special Zone was nothing more but a smokescreen for an Eleven's haven for their terrorism," One of the male patrons said, "a princess betraying her own country for Elevens."
"Well there is the fact that she had made contact with Zero before even proposing this scheme of hers," Another male patron said.
A female patron chuckled, "And yet Zero and the Black Knights left Area 11 to run and hide."
"Yeah I wouldn't come back if I were them," Another male patron said, "I bet that the military to would rain down on them hard if they ever showed up back in Japan."
Most of the patrons laughed while Villetta just looked at the news with her thoughts.
"Did Princess Euphemia really start the problems in the Special Zone?" Villetta asked herself in her head, "Why would she go through the trouble to create the Special Zone and even going as far as invite the Black Knights just to spark conflict to have it all destroyed by setting off an explosion to have Elevens killed?"
Meanwhile in Ashford Academy, students and faculty members were listening to the news of what was going on with Euphemia and the Special Zone. In the Student Council Room, Rivalz and Nina were watching the news on a portable television that Rivalz was holding.
"This is unreal," Rivalz said, "the whole thing is crazy."
"This is horrible," Nina said as she upset, "Princess Euphemia, I can't believe that she would do this. How could she turned on her own country and become a terrorist?"
"I don't get it," Rivalz said, "I really don't get it."
"What's not to get Rivalz?" Nina asked.
"Nina?" Rivalz replied looking at Nina.
"She's a traitor to Britannia and all those who support her are just as guilty," Nina said, "I knew it, nothing good ever comes with wanting to be on equal ground with Elevens… and the only thing good about this is that the Black Knights are not here in Area 11 anymore."
Rivalz looked at Nina and then looked at the portable television watching the news as Nina sat next to Rivalz and watched the news with him.
"Say, I wonder where Shirley and the Prez went," Rivalz said.
"I don't know," Nina replied, "I haven't seen them all day."
"I am worried," Rivalz said.
"Worried?" Nina asked.
"Yeah, I mean have you ever noticed Milly and Shirley have been acting… well strange?" Rivalz asked.
"Strange?" Nina replied and she thought about for a bit before shaking her head, "No, I haven't."
"I see," Rivalz said.
In the sky
The Lionel, Lucan, Guren, Seiryu, Fenrir, Vierge, and the customized Gekka were closed to getting to the airspace of Japan.
"We're here," Rai said.
"With the situation that is happening, we should split up," Todoh said, "the flagship is behind but the others are about ready to sortie when they catch up with us."
"You're right Sensei," Lelouch said.
"Orpheus and the Peace Mark along with the Japan Liberation Front led by General Katase are also on their way to catch up to us," Kallen added.
"Yes, so with that in mind," Lelouch said.
Lelouch pushed some buttons and Diethard appeared on his screen.
"Lelouch," Diethard said.
"Diethard, do you have it set?" Lelouch said.
"Yes, the line is set so that means you can make the transmission throughout Japan," Diethard said with nod.
"Thank you Diethard," Lelouch said.
Nunnally, Rai, and Alice appeared on Lelouch's screen as well.
"Lelouch, we have coordinates set within Japan," Nunnally said.
"Excellent," Lelouch said with a nod, "time to get things started."
"Let's do this," Naoto said.
"Right," Alice said.
Lelouch and Void put their masks back on. The flying Knightmares arrived to the airspace of Area 11. Meanwhile on the road, Knightmares were preparing to head to various places and some went on their way to Saitama. Kinman was giving instruction and he was upset that things were going the way that he had hoped.
"Hurry up!" Kinman yelled, "Find Euphemia! We need to hurry up and end her and kill anyone that is with her, no matter who it is!"
"Colonel Kinman!" A soldier called out.
"What is it?" Kinman replied annoyed.
"We have reports of Knightmares flying approaching Area 11," The soldier said.
"Huh, so what?" Kinman asked, "We have more reinforcements carried by VTOLs."
"No, they're flying on their own with no carriers," The soldier said, "and not only that… it seems that the Knightmares that are arriving are those of the Black Knights."
"The Black Knights!" Kinman responded shocked, "Are you sure about this?"
"Yes sir," The soldier said with a nod.
Kinman was wide eyed and shook his head. Meanwhile elsewhere, VV was on his phone and he was upset and he was informed that the Knightmares of the Black Knights were arriving back in Area 11. VV hung up his phone and looked up in the sky.
"Damn you Lelouch and Nunnally," VV said angrily as he clenched his teeth and was shaking.
Meanwhile the Lancelot and the three GX 01 Knightmare piloted by Sancia, Lucretia, and Dalque were holding on their own against the opposing Knightmares and Marrybell in her Knightmare struck down two Knightmare that tried to kill her. Five more Knightmares showed up and pointed their rifles at the five opposing Knightmares that were defending themselves.
"More just keep showing up," Dalque said, "this is ridiculous."
"At this rate, we'll be overwhelmed," Lucretia said.
"Since this is come to it, we may have to use them," Sancia said.
Lucretia and Dalque knew what Sancia was referring to.
"Do we really have to use them?" Lucretia asked sadly.
"We may not have a choice," Dalque said.
"Let's hurry and end them," One of the opposing Knightmare pilots said, "then search and destroy the rest of this damn Area."
"No, I won't let you continue your heinous destruction!" Marrybell declared.
"You will be executed!" Another opposing Knightmare pilot declared, "And so will the traitor Euphemia!"
"The only actual traitors are you!" Zero's voice declared.
This surprised the others when they heard Zero's voice and they looked and saw the Lionel in the air.
"Is that…?" One of the pilots said.
"The Lionel!" Another pilot said.
"It's him," Dalque said.
"Zero, it's you," Marrybell said, "you're here!"
"Yes but of course," Zero replied, "I'm not the only one."
In Shinjuku, Knightmares were being struck down and it was done by the Seiryu and the customized Gekka with their MVSs. From the distance, Cornelia looked on and was surprised to see two of the Knightmares of the Black Knights."
"They're actually here," Cornelia said and then she looked the direction where the Special Zone was, "that must mean Zero is really here, him and Void have returned."
In Shizuoka, the Knightmares were facing the Fenrir that held a VARIS rifle.
"Wait a minute," One of the Knightmare pilots said, "that Knightmare… one of the Black Knights!"
The Fenrir shot a round from the VARIS rifle and struck one of the Knightmares. The other Knightmares reacted and Fenrir quickly rushed towards the enemy Knightmares and was able to strike them down with its own MVS. In Saitama, a Knightmare had its head gripped by the silver claw of the Guren MK-II and used the Radiant Wave Surger on the held Knightmare causing it to be destroyed.
The other Knightmares looked on and was taken aback.
"Damn it, it's that damn red Knightmare, the Guren," One of the Knightmare pilots said, "It's the Black Knights."
The Guren readied its silver arm and rushed towards the enemy Knightmares. In Kyushu, the Vierge struck down several Knightmares that were attacking the people there and was able to protect them from harm. Alice in the cockpit looked back at the people who were terrified but were relieved to see that Knightmare that was part of the Black Knights.
"It's you," A man said, "You're part of the Black Knights."
"Does that mean that the Black Knights have come back?" A teenage girl asked.
"Is everyone alright?" Alice asked.
"Yes, we're fine," An old woman said, "thanks to you."
"Get going," Alice said, "I'll handle things here."
"Yes thank you," An old man said.
"Let's move everyone," A middle-aged man said.
The people left in a hurry and Alice piloted the Vierge and three more Knightmares showed up.
"You will not get pass me," Alice declared.
Near Mt. Fuji, Knightmares were coming by and were about the storm the area where they believe that Euphemia was hiding. Within Mt. Fuji, the Clan Leaders of Kyoto as well as Euphie and Jeremiah saw the Knightmares coming and it was not good for them.
"This is not good," Yoshino said, "have we've been discovered."
"We need to protect ourselves," Munakata said.
"No choice," Kirihara said, "Euphemia, Jeremiah, we need to move."
"But where can we go?" Euphie asked.
"Don't worry," Kirihara said, "we won't let anything happen to you."
"That's right," Kaguya said, "but we need to hurry."
Outside as the Knightmares were making their move toward Mt. Fuji, one of them was suddenly struck by a Slash Harken. It shocked the other pilots and they turned and saw a Knightmare that was retracting the Slash Harken and it was surprise to them to see the Lucan as it drew its dual MVSs.
"You will not go any further!" Void declared.
In the base, the Clan Leaders, Jeremiah, and Euphemia saw the Lucan outside stopping the Knightmares.
"The Lucan," Osakabe said, "it's Void."
"Yes, that means they have made back here," Kubouin said relieved.
"Void," Euphie said relieved, "Nunnally…"
"Your Highness," Jeremiah said in his head.
Outside, the Knightmares units drew their weapons at the Lucan.
"Blast, it's the Lucan," One of the Knightmare pilots said.
"It's Void," Another pilot said, "the Black Knights have returned."
"Kill her," Another pilot said, "kill Void!"
The Lucan charged towards the opposing Knightmares and was able to avoid shots from assault rifles and Stun Tonfas. Void piloted her Knightmare to counter and strike down the opposing Knightmares. Three Knightmares rushed towards the Lucan and Void quickly had her Knightmare throw three blades at the three Knightmares. They stabbed the three Knightmares and then they exploded on the Knightmares causing them to fall mostly destroyed. One Knightmare tried to attack from behind but Void was able to dodge the sneak attack and countered with slicing the attack Knightmare in half and brought it down. In the base, the people watching were relieved.
"She did it," Kaguya said.
"We're saved," Kubouin said happily.
"It's such a relief," Osakabe said as he and the others turned to Euphie, "fear not Euphemia, now that the Black Knights have come back, they'll be able to solve this."
"Yes, thank goodness," Euphie said feeling happy.
Later on, Void had entered the base with her Lucan and exited out of her Knightmare and met with the others.
"Void," Kirihara said.
"Thank goodness I got her when I did," Void said.
"And the others?" Yoshino asked.
"There are seven of us that are here in Japan right now including my brother," Void said, "the others will be arriving back in Japan shortly. Not only that, Peace Mark and the Japan Liberation Front will be arriving back here in Japan as well."
"The Japan Liberation Front?" Munakata replied.
"So Katase is coming to aid as well," Osakabe said.
"So Katase decided to make his move as well," Kirihara said.
"Yes," Void said as she took off her mask.
"Nunnally," Euphie said feeling happy.
"Euphie, thank goodness," Nunnally said, "I'm glad that you're still alive."
"Nunnally, we must know," Kaguya said, "do you know who's really behind this? Do you know who actually started this?"
"We do," Nunnally said, "first we need to get set up."
"Set up?" Jeremiah asked.
"Yes," Nunnally said.
Meanwhile in the Special Zone, the Knightmares that were set to kill the three GX 01 pilots, Suzaku, and Marrybell were facing the Lionel that was piloted by Zero.
"This is as far as you go," Zero said as he had his Knightmare draw its MVS Claiomh Solais.
"Zero, you shouldn't be here," One of the Knightmare pilots said, "how did you make back here?"
"Curious, aren't you?" Zero replied, "But that's not something you need to know at the moment. What you do need to know that we, the Black Knights are putting an end to what you people are doing."
"Zero," Marrybell said.
"Marrybell, it's good that you made it through," Zero said.
"Thank you," Marrybell said, "of course it most likely would not have made it without them."
"Oh yes," Zero said looking at the three GX 01s and the Lancelot.
"Zero, so you're here," Suzaku spoke.
"Yes, we have returned Kururugi," Zero said, "well not just me and not just the Black Knights."
"Not just you?" Suzaku asked.
"Like I told you before," Zero said, "we have allies working with us and they will be here soon."
Meanwhile in the light blue flagship that was still flying in the air, the Black Knights were getting ready as members were getting in their Knightmares.
"Let's hurry," Keitaro said as he was getting in his Knightmare, "we're about to arrive back in Japan."
"Yeah, let's do this," Tamaki said, "we got back up Zero and the others."
"Yes and we will stand together for the people of Japan," Ohgi said as he got in his own Knightmare.
CC arrived in the hanger and was heading to a Knightmare that was pink and white.
"VV, your pranks have gone too far," CC said in her head with a frown, "you truly are twisted… just like how you acted regarding Marianne even though your reason for it was…"
CC thought about Charles and Marianne and how they were always conversing with each other and how Charles spent more time with Marianne.
Pendragon, Holy Britannian Empire
Charles was standing in the throne room and Bismarck and Nonette were kneeling before the 98th Emperor.
"You two shall leave and make your way to Area 11," Charles said.
"Yes Your Majesty," Bismarck said, "we shall carry out your orders and move against Zero."
"Nonette, do you understand what will happen if you fail?" Charles asked staring at Nonette.
Nonette flinched before answering, "Yes Your Majesty, there's no need to worry," Nonette looked at Charles with determination, "I will not make the mistake that I had made in the past and Bismarck and I will put an end to Zero and anyone who foolishly gets in the way."
