The Black Rebellion Part Five
On the platform of the Sword of Akasha, Charles was standing and had his eyes closed thinking about what was going to happen next. He witnessed what was going on in Japan and he saw things that he predicted that would indeed happen.
"Hmph, it seems that the battle over in Japan is about to come to an end," Charles said as he opened his eyes, "too bad that they are the ones that have lost."
Charles turned around and went on his way out of the Sword of Akasha.
Somewhere in the ocean
A several carriers were making their way to their destination through the waters and in the air, several aircrafts were making their way as well and they were all black. In the bridge of one of the carriers, members of the Black Knights were looking on as they were making their way to their destination and at the center was Talim.
"The time has come," Talim commented, "we're near close to our destination."
Ashford Academy
Arthur the cat was strolling through the hallway of the school. He perked up and his ears twitched and turned to the side. Arthur meowed and ran through the hallway. Meanwhile Villetta and the teachers of Ashford Academy were facing Jeremiah and Sayoko and Villetta couldn't believe that Jeremiah was willing to be part of the Black Knights after everything that had happened to him in the past.
"Lord Jeremiah, I don't understand," Villetta said, "why have you joined with the Black Knights? Why have you joined Zero and Void, especially Zero, the same person who damaged your reputation and destroyed your credibility?"
"I have my reasons," Jeremiah said, "I will continue as I now serve Lord Zero and Lady Void."
"Lord Zero?" Villetta replied, "Lady Void?" Villetta narrowed her eyes at Jeremiah, "Jeremiah, you really have decided to join them in such a manner. I don't think you understand what that entails. This makes you a traitor to Britannia. What you are doing is justifying that slander that was thrown your way by Lord Kewell and the others and makes what Prince Castor and Prince Pollux said about you is true. You are and have been committing treason."
"Be it as it may, I know where I stand and where my loyalty lies," Jeremiah replied, "and it is with Lord Zero and Lady Void, it's with the Black Knights."
"Lord Jeremiah," Villetta replied shocked, "I never would have imagined that you would be a fool. You would betray Britannia just because of who they are behind their masks."
Jeremiah and Sayoko were surprised at Villetta's wording.
"Wait Villetta, do you know…?" Jeremiah asked.
"Yes I know who they are behind their masks," Villetta said, "and I get it. I understand but as much as I do understand, I can't allow them to continue and therefore Lord Jeremiah, I won't tolerate what you are doing either."
"And that is the correct response," A female voice said, "that is how you should react."
Jeremiah and Sayoko were surprised. Sayoko quickly turned and threw a kunai but that kunai was shot and it stopped its trajectory. The person made the appearance and it was Nonette with her gun in hand.
"Nonette Enneagram," Jeremiah said.
"Jeremiah, so you have decided to join the Black Knights," Nonette said, "not very smart on your part."
"Oh, one of the Knights of Round," One of the male teachers said in relief.
"The Knight of Nine herself," One of the female teachers said in relief.
"Hmm, I see that the teachers are helping out," Nonette said.
"Yes, we're working together," Villetta said.
"That's good," Nonette said, "you teachers are doing the right thing," Nonette then turned to Jeremiah and Sayoko, "now for the maid and the traitor…"
Jeremiah and Sayoko kept their guard up against Nonette, Villetta, and the Ashford teachers as Villetta quickly went and picked up her gun and pointed it at Jeremiah and Sayoko while Jeremiah pulled out his gun and pointed at Nonette. The Knight of Nine frowned at the actions that Jeremiah was taking.
"You really are a damn fool," Nonette said bitterly, "you're not only disgracing yourself but you're also disgracing your family. I wonder what your sister will say about it."
"You leave Lilicia out of this," Jeremiah replied in a venomous tone.
"Oh well, it doesn't matter at this point," Nonette said.
"Why do you say that?" Sayoko asked.
There were noises that were made and suddenly a dozen ground troopers showed up and with their assault rifles and pointed them at Jeremiah and Sayoko who looked around and found themselves surrounded by the troopers.
"How irritating," Jeremiah commented, "we're surrounded."
"Indeed, this is unpleasant," Sayoko added.
"Villetta, we can leave this to them," Nonette said as she put away her gun.
"Right, understood Lady Enneagram," Villetta said.
"As for you teachers, you go ahead and get going," Nonette said, "You can leave the rest to them."
"Ah of course," Mrs. Crane said.
The other teachers nodded in agreement and went on their way.
"Jeremiah, don't expect to be any mercy for you so go ahead and just give up," Nonette said, "refuse and you will be executed right here and that goes for you as well maid. Now as for the two of us, we're going to be bringing in Void."
"No, we won't allow it!" Jeremiah responded.
"We won't let you get her ladyship," Sayoko added.
"Yeah I don't give a damn what you two say about it," Nonette said, "Void will be turned in along with Zero and they will pay for their treasonous actions. Let's go Nu."
"Right," Villetta said as she went with Nonette.
"Do you know why they have done what they have done?" Jeremiah asked, "Do you know the reasons that they led this rebellion against Britannia?"
"Hey, I tried to help them," Nonette replied, "we could have worked together to solve the serious matter but they rejected me and scorned me for it. I tried to be nice and now they will get my ire as will anyone else supporting them," Nonette turned and glared at Jeremiah, "that includes you dear Jeremiah."
"Nonette, you…" Jeremiah said clenching his teeth.
Nonette and Villetta went on their way. Jeremiah and Sayoko tried to stop them but got shot at by of the ground troops. They demanded that they give themselves up. Jeremiah and Sayoko shifted glances at each other and then turned their attention to the rifle holding soldiers as Sayoko had something behind her back and in her hand. She dropped it and it set off a huge smoke which actually a smoke bomb and it caught the soldiers off guard as one by one they were being knocked up. Later on out on the campus, the Lancelot was surrounded by Gefjun Disturbers that was activated and were traps set up by the Black Knights and the Lancelot was faced with the red Knightmare that was piloted by Jarvis Trenton, the Knight of Two who made it known that he was having Suzaku arrested for violating military procedure.
"Make it easier on yourself Kururugi and comply," Jarvis said, "refuse and it's just going to be worse for you."
There was another noise that suddenly happened and people at the campus wondered what was going on now. They all got their answer when something was moving up from one of the buildings. The one that was coming up was the Ganymede and was it being controlled by Nina. Nina looked on with a determined expression.
"You're all here," Nina said, "all in the same place. You will pay for this. Finally, I will make my move and end the pretenders and the enemies and the traitors."
Meanwhile the standstill that was going with Nonette and Villetta who was going against Nunnally as well as Rai, Alice, Euphie, Naoto, Ohgi, Minami, Inoue, Yoshida, Sugiyama, and Tamaki. They heard the noises that suddenly occurred and wondered what was going on.
"What was that?" Alice asked.
"It came from that way from the center of the campus," Rai said.
They all turned to the direction where the noise came from the center of the campus. Nunnally narrowed her eyes.
"Something is going on and I have a bad feeling about it," Nunnally said.
"I feel the same way," Euphie said.
"In that case, I want you all to go see what's going on," Nunnally said.
"Nunnally," Rai said.
"See what's happening," Nunnally said as she sprung up two kunais from both of her arms, "as for me, I will take these two on."
"You're going to take on both of us," Nonette said narrowing her eyes at Nunnally.
"I am," Nunnally replied glaring at Nonette.
"Sorry Nunnally, but I myself can't let you take them on by yourself," Alice said as she rushed and stood next to Nunnally, "as Captain of your personal guard therefore your personal knight, I will not leave you to face them alone."
"Alice," Nunnally said.
"We'll go see what's happening," Milly said.
"Nunna, please be careful," Shirley said, "you too Alice."
"Shirley Fenette," Villetta said, "so you really do support the Black Knights…"
Shirley glared at Villetta in response.
"I don't think I need to say anymore," Shirley said, "especially to you."
"You're going to regret this," Villetta said as she glared back at Shirley.
"No I won't," Shirley replied.
Nunnally signaled Rai, Euphie, Naoto, and the others to leave while Nunnally and Alice deal with Nonette and Villetta. They reluctantly agreed and went on their way while Tamaki told them to call them for help if it got too much. Meanwhile Nina was moving the Ganymede and there was something that was attached to the antique Knightmare Frame.
"Nina!" Milly called out.
Milly and Shirley came by and saw Nina in the Ganymede and Rivalz came by from the other side and saw what was happening.
"Hey, Nina!" Rivalz said.
"Nina, what are you doing?" Shirley asked.
"What is going on?" Rai asked as he and the other Black Knights showed up.
"Nina, is that you?" Euphie asked.
"Princess Euphemia, so you have come," Nina said.
"Nina, what are you doing with the Ganymede?" Rai asked.
In the bridge of the Avalon, Lloyd and Cecile saw what was attached to the Ganymede and Lloyd was shocked as he did not like what he was seeing.
"Oh hell!" Lloyd said.
"Lloyd, what's wrong?" Cecile asked worried.
"This is bad," Lloyd said and then he spoke in the intercom, "Attention, please listen!"
Outside, the people on the campus were shocked.
"Lloyd?" Rakshata spoke.
"Black Knights, can we call a truce for now?" Lloyd asked, "There is something dangerous going right now and it would not be wise to attack that Knightmare, let alone shoot at it."
The Black Knights were surprised at the fact that Lloyd was making such a request. In the cockpit of the Lancelot, Suzaku was surprised.
"Lloyd, why is he…?" Suzaku asked and then he looked at the thing attached to the Ganymede and was wide eyed, "Wait, could it be…?"
In the cockpit of the red Knightmare, Jarvis was surprised as well.
"If Asplund is being frantic about it," Jarvis said and then he realized something and he did not like it, "oh dear… that stupid girl…"
Outside, Rakshata and her team were waving at other Black Knights.
"Rai, Naoto, I suggest we do what Lloyd is asking," Rakshata said.
"I take it that it's that serious if you're agreeing with this Rakshata," Naoto deduced.
"I'm sure it is if Lloyd is being frantic about it," Rakshata said.
"Nina, what is going on?" Rai asked, "What are you doing?"
Euphie looked on and went to get a closer look and Rai followed her while Milly, Shirley, and Rivalz did the same thing.
"Nina, did you complete it?" Lloyd asked.
"There wasn't enough time to test it," Nina responded, "I don't know if it will explode. But still I'll try to…"
"Explode?" Rivalz asked shocked.
"The hell did that girl just say?" Yoshida asked shocked.
The others students at the campus were shocked and in panic as well and in the cockpit of the Lancelot, Suzaku was shocked as well and it furthered confirmed the fear that he had.
"Nina, what do you mean by explode?" Milly asked surprised as she about to run further to get to Nina.
"No wait, stop!" Jarvis yelled, "Don't go any further!"
"Please stay back!" Cecile said.
"Milly, hold on," Naoto said as he rushed and stopped Milly.
Rivalz turned when heard Naoto say Milly's name.
"The thing is that if her theory is correct, that thing may destroy all of Tokyo literally erasing the city out existence," Lloyd explained.
The students and the others on campus were shocked in what Lloyd said.
"Hold on, is that true?" Tamaki said as he was wide eyed, "But that would mean…"
"It must be true," Cecile said, "In fact from the looks of it, she's even using Sakuradite!"
"Sakuradite?!" Ohgi responded shocked, "This is… this is insanity."
"Has that girl lost it?" Inoue asked shocked, "Or is she really looking to commit genocide and kill everyone in the city?"
"Nina, what are you doing?!" Euphie yelled as she was panicking of Nina's intentions, "Surely you're not really intending to wipe Tokyo out of existence!"
"Princess Euphemia," Nina said, "please understand why I have to do this. I'm doing this for your sake as well."
"What are you talking about?" Euphie asked, "How is this for my sake?"
"You've gone and turned traitor by joining the Black Knights," Nina said, "You don't understand what you're really doing. Zero and Void have tainted you. They've corrupted you," Nina was shaking with the mix of fear and anger, "The Elevens, these horrible terrifying people are not worth helping."
"Nina, you shouldn't say those things," Euphie said upset.
"But that's what they are!" Nina yelled.
"Nina, wait!" Suzaku said as he came out of the cockpit of the Lancelot, "Please think about what you're doing. It's just like Lloyd said. If you set it off, you'll destroy all of Tokyo! Everyone will die including you! You may succeed in ending the Black Knights but what of the innocent people who will also get caught in the explosion?"
"Shut up Suzaku!" Nina yelled.
"N-Nina?" Suzaku responded surprised.
"I don't want to hear it from you," Nina said upset wide eyed looking a bit insane, "you let this happen. You let Princess Euphemia fall to the Black Knights. It's your fault so you have no right to lecture me on anything! I'll be the one to do what you failed to do and help Princess Euphemia!"
"Nina, use your damn head because it's obvious that you're not thinking clearly!" Rai angrily shouted, "You're going to kill everyone here in this school and everyone in Tokyo and that includes you. Are you actually suicidal and want everyone to die with you?!"
"So now one of the pretenders is yelling at me," Nina said looking at Rai, "all this time, you were pretending to be a student when in actuality you're a terrorist. We were never friends so I don't feel betrayed by you but I will not be tricked by you either!" Nina held on to the detonator with both of her hands, "I'm going to do this! I will end this now!" Nina turned to Euphie, "Please watch me Princess Euphemia! This is for you!"
"Nina, no!" Euphie yelled.
"Nina!" Milly yelled.
"Nina, please stop!" Rivalz yelled.
"Don't become a mass murderer!" Shirley yelled.
The other students panicked as they yelled and cried no and most of them started to run to try to get away from the school and the Black Knights were shocked in horror that Nina was about kill everyone with them included and Nina was about to push the button on the detonator. Suddenly someone got up and went behind Nina and quickly stopped her thumb from pressing the button. Nina was shocked and she looked and it was Sayoko who stopped her. Sayoko quickly wrestled the detonator out of Nina's hands and it flew in the air and fell and it was caught by Jeremiah who raised his arm holding the detonator in hand signaling that he got hold of it. Everyone sighed in relief seeing that Nina was stopped and was appreciative of what Jeremiah and Sayoko had just done.
"Thank goodness," Rakshata said.
In the bridge of the Avalon, Cecile felt relieved and so did Lloyd to the point that he nearly fainted. Within the Lancelot and the red Knightmare piloted by Jarvis, Suzaku was relieved that Nina was stopped although he was surprised to see Jeremiah aiding Sayoko.
"Gottwald," Jarvis said, "he was supposed to held or executed by the soldiers… they must have gotten away from them," Jarvis then turned to Suzaku, "Oh well, I guess I should just let that go since they stopped that insane girl."
"I… guess…" Suzaku said.
"Yes but however…" Jarvis said.
On the campus, Jeremiah jumped down and met with Naoto, Rai, and Euphie.
"Jeremiah, thank you," Euphie said happily and then she turned to Sayoko, "thank you as well Sayoko."
Sayoko was still holding Nina and she nodded at Euphie with a smile.
"Hey, let me go!" Nina demanded.
Sayoko looked at Nina and released her since she didn't have her detonator and she jumped back and landed on her feet.
"Give it back!" Nina demanded, "Give me back the detonator!"
"Not going to happen!" Jeremiah responded.
"I said give it back Orange!" Nina shouted angrily.
Nina piloted the Ganymede to go after Jeremiah but was suddenly ambushed by the red Knightmare.
"Wait, what?" Nina spoke confused.
Jarvis piloted his Knightmare to rip the bomb off the Ganymede and then had it draw its handgun and pointed it at Nina.
"You will stop right now," Jarvis said.
"Ah…" Nina spoke terrified.
The others students and the Black Knights looked on seeing the Knight of Two taking action.
"Girl, you tried to blow up many people," Jarvis said, "not only did you tried to kill all of your schoolmates here, your faculty, and Euphemia, but also all of people in Tokyo which includes His Highness Prince Schneizel himself as well. Yes he's here in Tokyo as well and for now, you're under arrest."
"No! No!" Please let me go!" Nina frantically pleaded, "Please let me go! I have to help Princess Euphemia! Why are you aiming at me?" Nina pointed at the Black Knights, "They're the one you should go after! Can't you do your job? Aren't you a soldier of Britannia?"
"Nina, please stop!" Cecile pleaded over the intercom.
"Nina, please calm down," Lloyd pleaded over the intercom.
"Don't tell me to calm down!" Nina responded upset, "Why would you stop me? I don't understand Professor Asplund, why would you even ask a truce with the Black Knights in the first place?"
Jarvis got out of his Knightmare and rushed over to Nina and pointed his handgun to her head. Nina was shocked that she had a gun pointed at her and she was scared as she saw Jarvis look at her with cold eyes. Everyone was watching and was surprised that Jarvis took this action and wondered if he was really going to just kill Nina right there and then.
"You know maybe I should just blow your brains out right now and I would be justified in response of the stupid actions you just took," Jarvis said coldly, "maybe I should do that right now before taking Kururugi to Prince Schneizel."
Nina was shaking and tears were streaming from her eyes.
Shinjuku
The cyborgs were on the ground next to their respective Siegfrieds that was severely damaged by the actions of Bismarck. They got up and looked up at the sky seeing the two black Knightmares and the red Knightmare.
"I can't believe that Lord Waldstein did that," Kewell said upset.
"I can," A male voice said.
The cyborgs looked and were surprised to see Madd and some of the scientist of the Code-R Research.
"Colonel Madd, why are you here?" Kewell asked.
"I've come to retrieve you all," Madd said, "we're to head back. We're going to do some adjustments on you back in our headquarters."
"But Colonel, we haven't heard anything from Master VV," One of the cyborgs said.
"You guys were deployed as distractions," Madd said, "so I would say you fulfilled your mission and besides, with the way things are going to go, VV won't be doing much of anything in the near future."
The cyborgs were confused in what Madd had just said.
"Colonel, what do you mean?" Kewell asked.
Madd smirked and he chuckled, "And he had the nerve to tell me that I have been pushing my luck meanwhile he's has been pushing his own luck and getting too cocky for his own good," Madd laughed, "I just find it hilarious. In fact if you think about it, everything that is happening right now is because of him. It's actually his fault because he actually gave them advantages for their goals."
The scientists looked at each other and groaned while cyborgs were still confused in what was going on.
Various Other Cities in Japan
Forces of the Britannian military were being decimated by the forces of the Black Knights and Peace Mark. In a Mobile Base in Nagoya, Lieutenant Colonel Fayer was in the bridge and he was frustrated in what was going on.
"Lieutenant Colonel, we've lost the Meyer Team in Kyushu and the Hawthorne Team in Saitama," One of the soldiers said.
"Our forces are losing ground in Hiroshima," Another soldiers reported.
"It's the same in Osaka," Another soldier reporter, "and we just lost our forces in Aichi."
"It's the same in Shizuoka," Another soldiers said, "They're being decimated by one black Knightmare there."
"Is it the Lionel?" Another soldier asked.
"No, the Lionel is currently being held bay by the Knightmare piloted by Lord Bismarck Waldstein, the honorable Knight of One," The soldier replied.
Shizuoka
A Gloucester Knightmare Frame was just stabbed by an MVS and it was the katana type that was wielded by the Knightmare Frame, the Kagemaru which was piloted by Jinta. Jinta then proceeded to have the Knightmare cut down. The other Gloucesters looked on and the pilots were shocked as they saw several other Gloucesters on the ground severely damaged and destroyed.
"This doesn't make sense," One of the Britannian pilots said, "it's just one unit and yet we're being defeated?"
The Kagemaru got in its stance and charged towards the remaining enemy Knightmares.
Fayer's Mobile Base in Nagoya
Fayer was clenching his teeth in frustration and slammed his fists on the rails.
"This is an absolute disgrace," Fayer complained, "how is it that we're being decimated and taken down by these rabble?"
"Sir, all the Knightmare units that were in Shizuoka are now lost," One of the soldiers reported.
"Damn it all!" Fayer responded angrily, "This is bringing shame to His Highness."
"What are we to do now Lieutenant Colonel?" Another soldier asked.
"We have to do something," Fayer said, "we need to find some way to turn things around because if we lose against this rebellion, we will lose this territory and it will bring such a high disgrace to not only to us but to Prince Schneizel as well. We'll be laughing stocks! I'll be demoted or even worse!" Fayer slammed on the rails again, "This would not have happened had Princess Cornelia not leave with her subordinates and be here to lead us. I still don't understand why she left. No, in actuality, this whole thing would not have occurred had not been for Pluton. Yes, they are to blame for this for their blatant open actions."
Tokyo
In the G-1 Mobile Base, the Black Knights who were operating in the bridge were given status reports of the situation as the Six Clan Leaders of Kyoto looked on.
"Good we're pushing them back," Munakata said.
"Yes, we can win this," Kubouin said as he clenched his fist.
"At this rate, we will finally have our independence," Osakabe said.
"The various battles are going our way," Kirihara said, "but what of the situations regarding the Knights of the Rounds' presence?"
"Right, we got the report that three Knights of the Round are involved," Yoshino said.
"And one of them is after Zero," Kaguya said as she was worried.
"Yes and he is the one who was one of his teachers in the past," Kirihara said narrowing his eyes, "the strongest knight of the Britannian Empire."
"I'm worried," Kaguya said as he put her hands together as she had her thoughts, "Please my beloved, please don't lose. You can't lose."
In the air, there was a clash and it was MVSs of the Bismarck's Knightmare and the Lionel as they pushed each other back. The damaged Guren floated next to the Lionel. In the cockpit, Lelouch was contacting Kallen and told her his intentions which were to actually lure Bismarck away and face him alone. Lelouch said that the chance that he would win against Bismarck was extremely low and that he was most likely going to lose against him and would be either be executed or capture and brought before the Britannian Emperor. Lelouch reminded Kallen of what he had discussed and that was the possibility that he was going to lose and that he was going to be capture and taken but also pointed at the fact that with the others, they could still win this rebellion and free Japan. Kallen was not happy with what Lelouch had just proposed and spoke against it but Lelouch remained firmed on his decision.
"Kallen, I have to do this," Lelouch said, "You know this."
"Lelouch, please don't do this," Kallen replied as she pleaded, "you don't have to do this. Not by yourself."
"We're so close Kallen," Lelouch said, "so close for Japan to have its independence and I want make sure that it will be a reality. The people of Japan are waiting. They've waited for seven years. All of you have waited and worked hard and risked your lives for the moment that Japan becomes free, no longer under the thumb of Britannia."
"Lelouch," Kallen said.
"And besides, right now, we're at the end of our rope, the both of us," Lelouch said, "our Knightmares can't hold out much longer and looked who we're facing right now."
"But Lelouch," Kallen pleaded.
"Kallen, I want you to listen," Lelouch interjected, "I'm now saying this as an order."
"Your order?" Kallen asked.
"Yes, Kallen Kozuki, as Captain of the Zero Squad I command you," Lelouch said, "help out our forces as much as you can with what you have or give support. Stay and fight here and do not come with me. I will face Bismarck in my own terms. That is the order I give you."
"Lelouch, please…" Kallen said with worry.
"Kallen, please I need you to do this," Lelouch said, "Do this for me."
"Lelouch," Kallen said in a shaken tone.
"I know you can do this," Lelouch said feeling happy, "I trust you. Please help the others and if you will… please look after my sisters. I'm counting on you my Q-1."
"Lelouch, you…" Kallen said.
"You got this," Lelouch said feeling confident, "I know that you and the others can do this."
In the cockpit of the Guren, Kallen was shaking and clenched her teeth and gripped her controls. Outside, the Lionel charged towards Bismarck's Knightmare and swung its MVS Claiomh Solais but Bismarck was able to counter with the swing of his Knightmare's MVS and slash and severed the Lionel's remaining arm with the MVS in hand. Kallen screamed Zero's name and before Bismarck followed up with an additional attack, the Lionel quickly kicked Bismarck's Knightmare and retreated heading to a certain direction. In the black Knightmare's cockpit, Bismarck was a bit shocked at Lelouch's actions.
"Do you think you can escape me?" Bismarck asked, "Surely you haven't become a coward young prince!"
The Knightmare piloted by Bismarck went after the Lionel and Guren just floated in the air. In the cockpit, Kallen looked on and was upset with how things were going.
"Lelouch, you can't," Kallen said upset, "You can't let yourself fall like this. We got this far because of you. You and Nunnally might share the leadership but you're the one, the foundation of everything we've been able to do," Kallen shook her head, "No, I can't let him go like this."
"Kallen, do you copy?" CC suddenly contacted.
Kallen was surprised and press the button to respond.
"CC?" Kallen responded.
Schneizel's Flagship
In the bridge of his own personal flagship, Schneizel was frowning as he was getting reports of the Britannian forces losing ground to the Black Knights. Schneizel leaned back and took a deep breath thinking about what was happening and Kanon looked over to Schneizel.
"Your Highness?" Kanon asked.
"It's hard to say this but it seems that I may have underestimated the Black Knights a bit," Schneizel said.
"I would suggest that we request reinforcements from the Homeland," Kanon said.
"Hold that thought Kanon," Schneizel said, "I want a status regarding the three Knights of the Round."
"Yes sir," One of the officers said, "we actually have status updates. Right now, Sir Trenton, the Knight of Two has Major Kururugi captured."
"Good, I will deal with Suzaku when he brought before me," Schneizel commented.
"Yes but also we received an additional report from Sir Trenton as well," The officer said.
"Hmm, what is it?" Schneizel asked.
"It appears that one of the students at that school had created a sort of bomb," The officer said.
"A bomb?" Kanon replied as he and Schneizel were surprised.
"Yes and according to what was said by Earl Asplund, the bomb was powerful enough that it had been set off, it would have blown up all of Tokyo which means all of us would have died including Euphemia who was there at the scene," The officer relayed.
The people in the bridge were shocked and Schneizel then frowned.
"What of that student now?" Schneizel asked.
"Yes, Sir Trenton has that student in custody and placing that student under arrest," The officer said, "in addition, Lady Ennegram, the Knight of Nine is currently engaging against Void and Sir Waldstein, the Knight of One is currently in pursuit for Zero."
"Pursuit?" Kanon asked, "You mean he has Zero is fleeing?"
"Yes it seems Lord Waldstein was able to overpower against Zero," The officer said.
"This may be the best chance," Schneizel said as he pondered, "yes, if Zero gets captured, it will also put an end to all of this and I can bring Euphie back to safety."
Ashford Academy
Nunnally was running inside one of the buildings and she was being pursued by Nonette.
"Stop Nunnally," Nonette demanded.
Nunnally quickly turned and threw three kunais at Nonette who dodged two of them and deflected the third one with her gun. Nunnally did a back flip and faced Nonette and had another kunai in hand. Nonette stopped and faced Nunnally who shifted glances from side to side. Meanwhile Villetta entered a place and she stopped and looked and saw that she was back in the gym and saw the soldiers that had come and surrounded Jeremiah and Sayoko. She kneeled down and noticed that they were just on the floor and was groaning in pain.
"They must have knocked them down," Villetta said, "it seems that they are more resilient than I thought."
"We are and you should know by now that you should not underestimate us," Alice's voice said.
Villetta was shocked and looked around but she suddenly saw a blur that she could not follow and she suddenly lost her gun as it was knocked out of her hand. Villetta didn't know what happened and she was suddenly kicked in her stomach and wind was knocked out of her. Villetta was shocked and didn't know what happened and wondered how it happened and was suddenly knocked out and fell on the floor. Alice suddenly appeared and had her Geass activated which allowed her to accelerate and cause gravitational pull on things within her range making Villetta feel that she was going in slow motion. Alice took Villetta's gun and tied up Villetta with a rope so that she would not be able to move even when she regains consciousness. Afterwards, Alice, worried for Nunnally's safety, rushed out of the gym to go help her.
Outside of Ashford Academy
Nunnally ran and then she stopped and turned around and Nonette caught up and stopped as she saw that Nunnally had stopped.
"Have you finally decided to give up?" Nonette asked.
"Of course not," Nunnally replied as she held her two kunais.
Nonette sighed and shook her head.
"You really are stubborn Nunna," Nonette said as she looked around her surroundings and then back to Nunnally, "well seeing that you intentionally lured me away from your old school. I take it that you don't want to risk of anyone the school getting caught in our crossfire," Nonette sighed, "That's fine with me but make it easier on yourself and give up. Agree to turn yourself in and this can all be over."
"I refuse," Nunnally replied.
Nonette just looked at Nunnally's glare.
"You stubborn girl," Nonette said, "You're making it worse and worse for yourself."
Ashford Academy
A Knightmare was descending from the Avalon and it was piloted by Cecile and Lloyd was on its right hand. The Knightmare landed on the ground and Lloyd hopped off the Knightmare. Lloyd then went to have a closer look at the Lancelot and he shrieked like a madman at the sight of his creation that was damaged.
"Suzaku, what have you done?!" Lloyd yelled, "Look at my Lancelot! Look at what've you done!"
Suzaku didn't respond and just looked away near the cockpit of the Lancelot.
"I can say that he's done," Jarvis commented, "just as she is."
Jarvis was standing by his Knightmare and had restrained Nina who was just shaking and tears streaming from her eyes.
"Wait, what are you going to do with Nina?" Milly asked, "What's going to happen to her?"
Jarvis looked at Milly who had Rivalz and Shirley with her.
"Why do you care?" Jarvis responded, "You shouldn't be so concern for this nutcase."
"I'm not a nutcase," Nina rebuked meekly, "I just—"
"Shut your mouth," Jarvis interrupted harshly at Nina making her flinch, "you and Kururugi are coming with me. With this, this so-called truce with the Black Knights ends."
"Yeah, it does," Naoto said.
Jarvis looked at the Black Knights that were there and they were all calm as they faced Jarvis with his Knightmare. Ohgi and Inoue were on their phones and Rai, Tamaki, and Sugiyama scanned their surrounding and Rakshata and her team were looked at each other and nodded and then they nodded to the other Black Knights and then Sayoko and Jeremiah stood with them.
"Shall we proceed to the next phase?" Sayoko asked.
"Yeah, I think we can," Naoto said.
Rakshata and her team stood by and were ready and one of her subordinates stepped up and stood next to her.
"Ma'am, shall we?" One of her subordinates asked.
"Hmm," Rakshata responded as she smoked her pipe.
"It's over for you Black Knights," Jarvis declared, "You might as well turn yourselves in right now. You've lost."
"We beg the differ Sir Trenton," Euphie responded, "We are still going to strong."
"Maybe for the rest of you damn rebels but that won't last," Jarvis said and then had a confident smile, "especially when it comes to your leader Zero."
"Huh, to Zero?" Suzaku asked.
"What are you talking about?" Euphie asked.
"I just received word from Bismarck Waldstein, the Knight of One himself saying that he's closing in on Zero," Jarvis said as she was pleased, "in any minute now, Zero will be captured and taken into custody and Void is closed of being taken in as well. You have lost. It's over for you Black Knights and as for you Euphemia, you will answer for what you have done as well and don't think that running to try to help them will do you any good and because at this moment, we have troops that are quickly making their way here to this school as well. You won't get out, no matter what you do."
"That's where you're wrong Jarvis Trenton," Rakshata said, "we still do have option and the conditions are just as we expected."
"Oh please," Jarvis replied unimpressed, "it seems you fools still have a hard time knowing—"
"All students present here in campus!" Rakshata yelled, "Take this time right now to leave!"
"It's going to get foggy here!" Rai yelled.
"Start running please!" Euphie joined in.
"What the hell are you fools babbling about?" Jarvis asked annoyed.
Naoto took something out of his pocket and it was a remote control and he pressed the button. The devices within the area of the Lancelot, the Gefjun Disturbers, and the red Knightmare suddenly produced huge thick smoke. This caused the students to run away and it blinded the Jarvis as well as Cecile, Lloyd, and Suzaku and they were all caught off guard. The Black Knights took the opportunity to make their escape through the huge smoke as ground troopers arrived at the school and were stopped by the huge smoke that formed.
"What the hell?" Jarvis said as he shielded his eyes.
Nina closed her eyes as well and shook her head.
Suzaku was caught off guard and remembered the same thing that had happened. It was back when Zero led the Four Holy Swords as well as the Kozuki siblings a prison break to get Todoh out and used this tactic when reinforcements were coming. Suzaku and the others nearby could tell and feel that the smoke was harmless but for Suzaku, it upset him that they would resort with such tricks. Suzaku then thought of something as he looked at the Gefjun Disturbers. He took something from the seat of the Lancelot cockpit and quickly went to work. Meanwhile the students got away and most of them left the campus and the teachers came by and were shocked to see what was going on. In the principal's office, Reuben looked on and was surprised at what he was seeing.
"Well, that's one way to make their escape," Reuben said, "although it does worry me."
As the Black Knights retreated to get to their rendezvous point, Euphie heard a noise and it was a cat meowing. Euphie looked and saw the black cat which was Arthur on the side. Arthur looked on and just stared at Euphie and Euphie in turned looked at Arthur and smiled warmly at the cat making a mental note that the cat was fine and being well taken care of since she was told by Suzaku and Nunnally and Rai in the past of how the cat was doing. As they kept going and left, Arthur looked at the side and went to the opposite direction. Not long afterwards, Rakshata and her team got to their vehicle and got in and drove to head to their rendezvous point.
"It's too bad that I didn't get the Lancelot," Rakshata said and she sighed, "And after the trouble Void and the others went for me to trap it."
"With that smoke, it's most likely that they or someone deactivates or destroys the Gefjun Disturbers," One of the scientist said.
"True but at this point, it doesn't matter," Rakshata said, "Suzaku Kururugi aimed to take Euphemia but she's out of his reach now," Rakshata then frowned, "but now I'm worried about Zero."
Back at the campus, the smoke was clearing up as soldiers were moving in and students were still leaving heading to various places. Milly, Rivalz, and Shirley headed off back inside one of the buildings. On the other side, Lloyd looked on and he was pleased.
"Well it seems that my fiancé is just fine," Lloyd said with a smile and nod.
There was a sudden noise and something was moving. Much to everyone's surprise, it was actually the Lancelot as he was gradually floating up. Jarvis was shocked and wondered what was going on but then he looked and realized and sure enough, the Gefjun Disturbers that were activated and keeping the Lancelot inoperable had been damaged.
"No way, how the hell did he…?" Jarvis asked shocked, "When did he…?"
"Suzaku!" Cecile called out in her Knightmare, "Wait!"
"Suzaku, where do you think you're going with my Lancelot?!" Lloyd asked loudly and furiously, "Are you off to just damage it further?! Are you trying to give me a heart attack?!"
In the cockpit, Suzaku did not respond and just continued to operate the Lancelot.
"Kururugi, you stupid bastard!" Jarvis yelled losing his temper, "Get back here!"
Jarvis pointed his gun at the Lancelot and he was suddenly attacked and it was Arthur that was attacking him.
"Arthur," Suzaku said surprised seeing what was happening.
"A cat?" Lloyd asked surprised.
"Oh my," Cecile said shocked in what she was seeing.
"Arthur!" Nina said surprised.
"Hey, what the hell?" Jarvis said annoyed as Arthur still attacked him, "A damn cat of all things? Get off me!"
Jarvis swung his arm at Arthur which forced the cat to move back. Arthur then hissed at Jarvis and the Knight of Two was even more irritated.
"Stupid cat!" Jarvis said angrily.
Jarvis pointed his gun at Arthur which the cat responded by quickly running away with speed. Jarvis just looked at the fleeing cat and looked and saw that the Lancelot was leaving as it floated up in the air and flew away from the school. In the cockpit of the Lancelot, Suzaku looked back and was able to see Arthur at another area of the school and saw that he was safe as the cat just looked up at the Lancelot. Suzaku looked at the cat and smiled thinking that in his way, Arthur was helping him. Suzaku was determined and piloted the Lancelot to take off flight. Back in the academy, Jarvis was shocked and couldn't believe what just happened as he was wide eyed.
"An absolute blunder," Jarvis said, "Me, a Knight of the Round making such an absolute embarrassing blunder," Jarvis placed his hand on his head and clenched his teeth in frustration, "they'll never let me hear the end of this," Jarvis calmed down and took a deep breath and felt better, "Yep, I just need to correct this," Jarvis then turned to Lloyd, "Asplund."
"Yes, what is it Sir Trenton?" Lloyd responded.
On the road
A vehicle was driving on the road and Diethard was on the phone talking to someone.
"What Zero?" Diethard asked surprised.
The person in on the other line spoke as the other Black Knights with him were concern hearing Diethard who clenched his teeth.
"This is not good," Diethard said, "are you telling me that the worst case scenario that Zero foresaw will occur after all?"
Various cities in Japan
Word was getting around to the Black Knights and Peace Mark about Zero and they were all worried.
Former Viceroy Palace, Tokyo
Katase was being informed about Zero being pursued by Bismarck and the old general was not happy in what he was hearing.
"Zero," Katase said.
Elsewhere in Tokyo
Todoh and the Four Holy Swords had just defeated the enemy forces in their area and were worried about Zero when they were getting the news as well.
"Sir, do you think we should go and help Zero?" Urabe asked.
"Even if we went to him, can we be any help to him?" Chiba asked, "Remember, this is the Knight of One we're talking about."
"Right, having more number against him will be meaningless," Asahina said.
"This is what our leader predicted would happen," Senba said, "and it's not good."
In the cockpit of the customized Gekka, Todoh was frowned as he was concerned for his former student.
"Lelouch, you can't lose," Todoh said to himself, "Even if you yourself foresaw this and set for what may come to you, you still can't lose. Do not give up on yourself. You still have us, all of us willing to aid you and you would do the same thing for any of us if it was reversed."
Schneizel's Flagship
In the bridge, Schneizel sighed as he was not in a pleasant mood as he had received reports that not only that Euphie had gotten away with the Black Knights with her but received news that Suzaku also got away with the Lancelot. Right before he got that unpleasant news, he had Kanon contact the Homeland to request reinforcements which was granted and they were informed that they were on their way immediately. Even with that, Schneizel was not pleased as things were not going in the way that they had hoped and had seen that the Black Knights were indeed formidable adversaries.
"Kanon, what's the ETA of our reinforcements getting here?" Schneizel asked.
"It shouldn't be long," Kanon answered, "they should be here soon as they are making their way. It's good that they were already set to aid us."
"If things don't turn in our favor, then unfortunately…" Schneizel said being calm and closing his eyes.
"Surely it won't come to pass," Kanon responded.
"Yes but perhaps we need to prepare in case it does," Schneizel said, "hmph, quite the turn of events this has been."
In the air
The Lionel was flying and headed to the intentioned destination. In the cockpit, Lelouch looked and saw Kamine Island and headed straight for it.
Kamine Island
The Lionel made it and crashed in the island. Lelouch came out of the cockpit of the island and looked at his Lionel seeing it how extremely damaged it has become. Lelouch looked and placed his hand on the Knightmare he himself created with the help of Rakshata.
"I'm sorry Lionel," Lelouch said sadly and then he had a look of determined, "But so be it, I will do this."
Lelouch went in his cockpit and picked something up and it was a sheathed katana. He then went on his way to go where he wanted to go.
In the air
The black Knightmare piloted by Bismarck was making his way to Kamine Island as well. In the cockpit, Bismarck was determined as he had the island in view.
"I see," Bismarck said, "so you want to face me on this island. Okay Prince Lelouch, I have no problem respecting your wish. You are free to choose where you want to lose."
Bismarck suddenly picked up on something and when he looked he was surprised.
"What?" Bismarck spoke, "How…?"
Kamine Island
Lelouch continued on within the island deciding on the spot where he was going to face Bismarck. He knew that Bismarck was going to be able to find him so he decided to make his stand and face him head on.
"I know I have low chance of making it through," Lelouch said, "but I do this knowing that the victory of the Black Knights, the liberation of Japan is all guaranteed. The conditions have been cleared and nothing that Schneizel does will prevent it."
Lelouch continued on and he soon got to place where there was an entrance to a cave. Lelouch looked and stopped as he recognized the place.
"This place," Lelouch said, "I remember when we fell from above in the cave and where we acquired the Gawain to make our escape. Not only that, this is where he found Rai."
Lelouch remembered three years ago where he along with Nunnally, Reuben, and Milly stumbled on the cave and when inside and saw the marks on the wall which he would eventually learn that it was a Thought Elevator. He remembered how shocked he and the others were when the Thought Elevator activated and opened and saw someone coming out of the place and it was Rai and it was the time that Rai had lost all his memories and not remember anything expect his name and nationality.
"That's right," Lelouch said, "the Thought Elevator. After knowing what I know now thanks to CC," Lelouch shook his head, "No, I should get moving before Bismarck shows up. At least I can—"
There was a sudden gunshot and the bullet passed by Lelouch who was surprised. Lelouch then frowned with a sigh as he was annoyed.
"You really have bad timing," Lelouch said, "Suzaku."
Lelouch turned around and saw Suzaku who was walking towards him with a gun pointing at him.
"I disagree Lelouch," Suzaku said, "I would say that I have perfect timing."
Lelouch gave a contemptable glare to Suzaku.
