In an unknown place, a being was contemplating his actions for the future.
???: Hm, what to do now?
He thought for a moment before an idea crossed his mind.
???: I know!
In another world entirely, many felt a strange sensation before they started glowing. Then suddenly, they vanished and reappeared somewhere else.
These people consisted of being from the world of Danmachi. They were the Hestia Familia, the Loki and Freya executives along with their goddesses, the Miach Familia, Hephaestus and Tsubaki, Takemikazuchi with Ouka and Chigusa, Hermes, Asfi, Aisha, Eina, Misha, Rose, the guild head Royman, Dian Cecht and Airmid, Ganesha and Shakti, the Hostess staff, Ouranos, Fels and the Xenos. For obvious reasons, everyone was confused and on high alert.
Hestia: Bell!
Bell: I'm here, goddess!
Welf: Where are we?
They continued getting their bearings before they noticed others with them.
Loki: Waah! Protect me, Ais!
Ais: No.
Tione: What's this place?
Gareth: It's definitely not Orario.
Loki: Shrimpy!
Hestia: Ugh, great. The cutting board is here too.
Loki: The hell you calling a board you cow!
Riveria: Now really isn't the time...
Allen: Stay close, Lady Freya.
Gulliver Brothers: Stay away from our goddess!
Haruhime: Master Bell, do you know where we are?
Bell: No clue.
Syr: Bell, you're okay!
AN: Syr and Freya will be the same person, but Bell doesn't know that yet.
Bell: Miss Syr!
Bete: You!!!
Everyone turned when they heard the werewolf and they saw him glaring at a gargoyle and the monsters behind it.
Gros: *Grr*
Bell: Mr Lyd, everyone.
Lili: We can't, Master Bell, we barely got away with it the last time.
Bell: But-
???: That will be enough. Let's not fight amongst ourselves.
They all turned and saw the man looking at them from the front of the room.
Freya: Are we to assume you were the one who brought us here?
Rolan: I am. Getting introductions out of the way, my name is Rolan. No need to tell me who you all are, I already know.
Loki: Yeah, and how did you bring us here to begin with?
Rolan: With my powers, how else?
Riveria: So, you're some kind of mage?
Rolan: Maybe I should have been more specific, I mean my divine powers. I am a creation deity, but one on a higher plane of existence which is why you don't know about me.
This floored everyone as the stranger, named Rolan, had identified himself as some kind of god.
Ouranos: So how is it you can have this effect on us gods?
Rolan: Put simply, I have a say in each of you exist. I took the essences of your original counterparts and brought them here. Hence, you all now play by my rules.
Finn: That's all nice for you, but you haven't proven any of your words yet.
Rolan: Good point, but how to do it.
The man paused before he had another idea.
Rolan: How about this, I will ask one of you what your desire is, and I will make it come true.
Tiona: Oh, you mean like a wish!!
Rolan: I guess that about sums it up. Now, who to choose...
Many were still doubtful about this, but some decided to humor the man and they silently thought a wish of their own. They were able to think of a wish before the man made his choice.
Rolan: You, the rabbit boy.
Bell was happy to be chosen, but quickly slumped at the comparison the god made. It was worse when some of his friends giggled a bit at their friend's misfortune.
Rolan: Ask for whatever you want, and it will be yours.
Bell thought to himself before saying his wish.
Bell: Then, bring back my grandpa.
Rolan: I'm sorry, I can't do that.
Many were outraged at that statement. Some threw words of ridicule at the man lying about his power.
Bete: The hell?! I thought you said "any" wish!
Rolan: The boys words and desire make it seem like his grandfather is dead. The fact is that I can't bring him back from the dead because he isn't dead.
Bell: What? You mean he's alive?
The god nodded before Bell cried tears of relief knowing that his family was still out there. The question was that where was he.
Bell: Then where-
Rolan: Sorry, I won't be answering that question. Now, pick another desire of yours.
The boy thought once more. He remembered his adventures so far, and one had stuck out to him. It was one that was a success, yet a failure at the same time. One where he had to kill the girl he promised to protect.
Bell: Then, I want to make right on my past mistake. I wish to resurrect the goddess Artemis.
Rolan: Done.
With a snap of his fingers, the blue haired girl appeared before everyone. The Hestia familia, minus Mikoto and Haruhime, were in complete shock as the goddess who was supposed to be dead was in front of them once more.
Artemis: Huh? Where-
She couldn't finish before Hestia had tackled her into the ground in a hug.
Hestia: ARTEMIIIIISS!!!
Artemis: Wha- Hestia?
The short goddess nodded before she returned the hug. While this happened, Bell was still in shock, even more so than everyone else who was watching. The one he failed to save was here again, right in front of him. He couldn't believe his eyes, he called out to her so see if this was all real.
Bell: Lady... Artemis?
The blue haired goddess turned and saw him, her hero was here. She quickly broke free from her friend and rushed to her love.
Hestia: Wha-
F for Hestia
Artemis: Orion!
Bell: Artemis!
In the short time that passed, the two lovers found each other again. The embraced as if this would be their last time.
Bell: This isn't fake? Y-You're really here?
Artemis: It's real, I can't believe it.
Many were shocked that she would be hugging Bell, much less another man. Although, there was the few, yet many woman who loved the rabbit and felt an intense jealousy from watching the two.
Loki: (Is this really the Artemis from heaven?)
Syr(Freya): (*Jealous grumbling*)
Ais: (Why is she with my bunny?!)
Haruhime: (She gets to touch Master Bell like that?!)
Rolan: So, do you believe now?
Everyone turned to him, but it was Bell who spoke.
Bell: I believe you. I can't thank you enough for bringing her back.
Everyone else was still skeptical about this. The Artemis the gods saw acted radically different from the one they knew in heaven, but from the Hestia familia's reactions, it was safe to say she changed when she came down. Their attention was brought back to the god when he spoke.
Rolan: Let's not have Bell be the only lucky one. Here's a little joy for all of you.
He snapped his fingers and a massive door appeared next to him.
Loki: The hell's that?
Rolan: A gift, something for all of you to enjoy.
The door opened and many figures walked out. The first two were a black haired swordsman and a blonde woman. A certain blonde swordswoman teared up at the sight of the two.
Albert: What- what is this place?
Aria: Albert?
Albert: Aria?
Ais: Mom... Dad?
The two looked to the voice and saw a miracle, their girl all grown up.
Albert: Ais?
The girl quickly rushed to her parent as the three cried in joy. Their cries were joined by an elven waitress when she saw her family again.
Ryuu: Lady Astraea, everyone!
Astraea: Ryuu...
Their embrace was much tighter being over 10 people.
Alise: Missed us that much, huh Lion?
Kaguya: You look more mature than before, I'm shocked.
Ryuu and Astraea were shocked at how they were all here and alive, but would not question the stroke of fortune they had now. Of to the side, the Hostess girls and Mia were happy for their friend. Similar to them, an elephant god celebrated the return of a precious child.
Ganesha: I am Ganesha! It's a miracle to see your here again my child.
Ardi: Master Ganesha, sister, where are we?
Shakti: I don't know, but this place brought us back together.
Ardi was confused as to where they were, but soon found herself in her sister's arms along with their god. Their embrace was no less warm from the rest of them. The Loki familia was also happy that line had rejoined them. Raul and Aki were happy their friend was back, although, a werewolf had his piece to say.
Line: Mr Bete, I-
She was silenced when he put his hand on her shoulder.
Bete: I... I can't say much but, I'm sorry for what I said to you. It's good to see you again, weakling.
The girl ignored the slander at the end as she passed out from her crush saying something to her other than her being weak.
Plop*
Tiona: OH NO! SHE DIED AGAIN!!!
With Bell and the others
Bell and Artemis were still together, but were brought out of their world when they heard more voices.
Zeus: Dear, please, I can explain!
Hera: Explain to my fist you shitty old man! How dare you take my grandson away from me!
Zeus: HEEEELP!!!
Alfia: Ugh, even in death I can't escape from him.
???: Sister?
The silver haired woman turned and saw a face she never thought she'd see again.
Alfia: Meteria...
Meteria: Sister, you're here!
Alfia: I should be dead, and you... what is this?
Zald: This isn't what I expected heaven to look like.
Alfia: Zald?
Zald: Alfia... and Meteria? You two are here as well?
Bell: WHY! WHY DID YOU DO THAT TO ME GRANDPA?!
Their attention was turned to a white haired boy who was glaring at the old god. Zeus was currently on the ground, kneeling in front of Bell.
Zeus: Y-y-you see, I-
Bell: What could have been so important that you had to fake your death?!
Everyone was brought out of their worlds at the boy's outburst. Loki and Freya were sweating when they saw the two gods near the boy.
Hestia: Bell, why are you yelling at him?
Bell: Because I want to know why my grandfather abandoned me!
Artemis: Um, Orion? You do know who that is right?
The boy's anger was replaced with confusion. Bell had trouble understanding the question since he knew full well whi the man was.
Bell: Yes? He's my grandfather.
Hestia: ZEUS IS YOUR GRANDFATHER?!
The while roomed had to take a moment to process it before they all screamed.
Everyone: HUUUUH?!
Bell winced at the noise.
Bell: What do you mean?
He looked at them before turning back to his grandfather.
Bell: Grandpa?
Zeus was sweating as the attention was on him now.
Zeus: Aha, well, no way to say it other than I am a god. I am the god Zeus and your grandfather, Bell.
The room was silent as the old man admitted that he was both the god of one of the most powerful familias ever and that he was the record holder's grandfather.
Hera: Alright enough of you, it's my turn now.
Bell: Who are you?
Hera: I'm the goddess, Hera, and your grandmother, if this idiot didn't take you away. The white haired woman there is your mother, Meteria and next to her is your aunt and uncle.
Alfia felt an arrow strike her at the word "aunt."
Bell: My mother, aunt and uncle.
Meteria: *Squeals* My baby! You're all big and handsome!
She brought Bell into a tight hug as the other two came up behind her.
Zald: So, you're her child huh? Well, it's nice to meet you.
Bell: Um, nice to meet you too.
Alfia: ...
Bell: Aunt?
Alfia: You already have that vermin's eyes, don't even try to call me that.
Bell: Eep!
Meteria: Come on now, don't be rude to your nephew.
Alfia: But, I already left him...
Meteria: No buts, I'll get mad if you don't greet him.
Alfia turned to the rabbit.
Alfia: Just don't call me aunt, it makes me feel old.
Bell: Then, stepmom?
She thought about it before smiling.
Alfia: Yes, that sounds better.
Bell: Alright!
He hugged his family again while everyone was in greater shock.
Welf: (He was related to them all this time?)
Hestia: (That's explains his skill!)
Loki: The rabbit's tied with Zeus and Hera.
Rolan: Indeed he is.
The gods turned to the man.
Hera: And you are?
Rolan: I'll spare us the trouble.
He shot a beam of electricity out from him to the newcomers and they held their heads as the information on their current situation was implanted into their minds.
Alfia: Ugh, so you brought us back?
Rolan: I did.
Albert: Not to sound ungrateful, but why did you go through all this trouble?
Rolan: Simple, I was bored.
They all deadpanned at his words.
Rolan: I already know what you're thinking, but to all the gods here, did you or did you not leave your perfect world to live with the mortals and cure your own boredom.
Loki and many others were about to refute this if not for the fact that he was right.
Rolan: Now, as to why I brought you here, I wish to see your reactions to pieces of your world.
Ouranos: What do you mean by that?
Rolan: Well, you all aren't the canon anymore.
Riveria: Canon?
Rolan: I mean the original story. You all ceased to exist as that the moment you came here. In easy terms, you are all one of many different instances that can exist in your world.
Tiona: I'm confused...
Hephaestus: I don't think some of us follow.
The man thought about how to explain this.
Rolan: Well how about this, you all know Bell came to Orario to become an adventurer right?
They nodded until Alfia shouted her displeasure.
Alfia: What?! Zeus, I thought I told you to raise him as a farmer?!
Hera: You sent the boy to Orario when our familias weren't there to keep order?!
Bell: Calm down, I went there because I wanted to. Being a hero is my dream.
Meteria: That's a noble dream, but I don't want you putting your life at risk.
Rolan: Okay, that's enough for now. As I was saying, Bell came to Orario to be an adventurer, but what if he never came, what then?
They thought about this and wondered how the city would be different without him.
Rolan: What if Bell didn't join Hestia? What if he joined, say Loki or Freya.
Hera: Like hell he will!
Loki: He would have if SOMEONE didn't throw him out.
Bete: Gimme a break! You all saw him at the beginning! The kid looked like he'd die after he took one step in the dungeon.
Finn: So you were trying to stop him from throwing his life away? How nice of you. I didn't think you were like that.
Finn was amused while Bete felt embarrassed at the implication.
Bete: S-Shut the hell up!
Tione: Aw, wolfie's a big softie.
Bete: The hell did you say!?
Rolan: Back to the topic, you see how asking these questions makes you wonder how things would be different?
They all nodded.
Rolan: Well, those minor difference are enough to create entire, alternate worlds. One small shift is all it takes.
Riveria: So how many are out there?
Rolan: The same as the amount of sand grains in the deserts. Too many to count or nearly infinite amounts.
The room was floored at the information. That many worlds and they were only one.
Lili: If Lili can ask, which ones are we seeing?
Rolan: A good question. I could show many things, but since there are so many, why not ask which ones?
They all thought about what world to see first.
Aria: If it's so hard, how about the future?
Rolan: Hm, that depends on what future you want to see. I could show the world in ruin from the Black Dragon.
Many trembled at the monster's name. Albert lowered his head in shame while Ais had a look of anger at the thought of such a world.
Rolan: I could show the many instances of the future after Bell kills it.Everyone: WHAT!?!
Loki: What the hell?! Ya mean Itty Bitty's kid beat the strongest monster ever?!
Rolan: Why Yes, this was Zeus and Hermes' secret plan after all.
All eyes turned to the pair as they sweated hard.
Meteria: You were planning to send my boy against that monster?!
Hera trembled hard in her chair as she got flashbacks to the last time Meterianhad that look on her face. Even Alfia couldn't bring herself to speak out after remembering the hell she brought on herself when she ate her sister's slice of carrot cake.
Zeus: I-I-I... Y-You see.
Bonk*
The god was hit on the head, hard by the woman as she vented her anger.
Rolan: Yes, that was their plan. Zeus knew that the world would need a hero and he placed all his hope in Bell to be that hero. He had Hermes look out for him and give him challenges to overcome and grow from while he was in Orario.
Bell turned to Hermes who looked apologetically at the boy.
Hermes: I won't ask you for forgiveness, but please understand why I did those things.
Hera: What things?!
Rolan: I will show them in time. Ah, an idea occured to me. Since you all are wrapping your heads around the while multiverse idea, I'll bring in some people from alternate worlds of yours.
Hestia: So we get to see more of Bell?
Rolan: Of course, he is the protagonist of this story after all.
The Hestia familia cheered that their captain was the most important in their story. Bell other friends and family were also happy to hear that.
Tiona: What's the hold up then, bring em on!
Rolan: With pleasure.
AN: And that is chapter one of this story. It might be confusing at first but I will try to prevent that. There will be many memories to enjoy and many futures to watch.
