Everyone watched as the screen turned on again, this time showing the gates of the Loki familia headquarters. At the gates was a well known werewolf and immediately the Loki executives were worried.
Gareth: Aghh! I can already where this is goin'.
Tione: The puppy's gonna bark tok loud and scare the rabbit away.
Bete: The hell you calling a puppy?!
Riveria: Alright, enough! It hasn't even been 2 minutes!
They quieted down and watched a certain albino walk to the gates. Bete saw this and raised an eyebrow at the boy.
Bete: The hell do you want?
Bell: W-Well, I came to apply to the familia...
The boy was trembling at the menacing presence of the beastman who already looked annoyed by him.
Bete: No way, scram. A weakling like you's got no place here.
Bell: W-Wait, at least let me prove myself!
He tried to bargain with him, but Bete was not having any of it. He shoved him to the ground. All who watched this had a grimace, the werewolf soon felt many threatening glares in his direction. The strongest being from Alfia and Meteria.
Bete: I already said no! Get lost!
Meteria: And this had happened once already?
She had a small smile and her eyes were closed, but many could feel an immense anger from her. If Alfia wasn't feeling the same, she would be terrified along with many others.
Bell: Mom, calm down! I was at least able to find a good family with my goddess, so there no need to be mad!
Meteria: Hmph!
She pouted, still upset about how her sonneas treated.
Back on Screen...
Bell could only sigh in defeat as he turned around and was about to leave before he heard a saving grace.
Finn: What's all this yelling about?
The two turned and saw a small blonde prum walking towards them.
Bete: It's nothing, the weakling was already leaving.
Finn: That isn't how we reject people. Plus you haven't even given him a fair chance.
He looked towards Bell and smiled.
Finn: If you want, I'll test you myself as an apology if you're still interested.
Bell: Are you sure? I don't want to trouble you.
Finn: Haha. It's fine, nothing to worry about. So, what do you say?
Bell: Thank you for the opportunity, sir!
Bell bowed to hum before Finn chuckled again and led him to a training field. Bete had just grunted as he followed them and put two random filler members to take his place at the gates. When they arrived, Finn guided him to a crate of spare weapons.
Finn: Pick your favorite then meet me there.
Bell looked through the weapons and had trouble choosing. A few minutes later, he found a good long sword and stood across from Finn.
Bell: I'm ready!
Finn: Good, for your challenge, you will try to hit me. You'll be the winner if you do.
Bell: Yes!
The fight began and everyone watching in the audience immediately saw a difference.
Lefiya: How is he moving like that?
Bell: Is that really me?
They saw how Bell was able to keep up with Finn, even though it was obvious the man was holding back. Sword wielders like Ais were impressed by the boy's technique.
Ais: He's good with a sword.
Rolan: His grandfather did train him at an early age.
Zeus: I did?
Rolan: After countless days and nights of begging.
The screen cut to a flashback of a smaller Bell pulling on Zeus' pants, asking him for help in training. Many of the rabbit's lovers had squealed at seeing the boy at a smaller age.
Hestia and Lili: HE'S SO CUTE!!!
Haruhime:
Mikoto: Haruhime! She fainted again!
Welf: Man down!
Artemis: (That's how he looked when he was young?!)
With the Hostess Staff, you could see a black haired cat woman with fire in her eyes.
Chloe: That ass is mine!
Anya: Nya, control yourself!
Lunoire: The woman is gonna kill us if she hears!
With the Justice familia...
Alise: Wow, he does look like a bunny. Lion?
She turned to her friend who only had a lost look at the screen. The red head waved her hand in front of Ryuu's eyes, but the elf was already gone.
Kaguya: The boy's cuteness was too much!
Lyra: Don't go into the light!
With Loki...
Tiona: He's adorable!
Tione: Haha, gotta agree with you there.
Riveria: Ais, what's wrong?
The blonde girl had a blush on her face and steam rising from her head as her brain went into overdrive.
Ais: (bunnybunnybunnybunnybunny...)
Aria: Dear, she's broken!
Albert: Ais!
Lefiya: Someone get the emergency potato snacks!
Rolan: *Sigh* Well, back to the fight.
The screen returned, much to the disappointment of many, most of all Chloe, and it returned to Bell looked battered from all the fighting. Finn had decided to go a little harder to test for the boy's limits.
Bell: (I don't know how much more I've got left in me.)
Finn: Come on, you've got more fight left, right?
Bell looked more determined than ever, the girls prayed for him.
Bell: (One last gambit!)
He threw his sword into the air and then rushed towards Finn who was confused at the boy's tactic. He soon felt his thumb throb which caused him to smile in excitement.
Finn: (Bring it.)
Bell: HAAAAAAAH!!
He rushed to the prum ready to punch him in the face. Finn, however, was ready for this.
Bete: Like that'll work.
Line: What's he thinking?
Tione: The captain wouldn't make it that easy for him!
To everyone's surprise, the boy stopped short and immediately clapped his hands in the prum's face, shocking him. Finn quickly regained his senses and backed away, his thumb still throbbing. Bell used this opening to catch the sword he threw and swing towards him, cutting Finn's vest a little. Immediately after, Finn knocked the sword out of his hands and punched Bell to the wall a little too hard. Everyone winced at this.
Riveria: Too hard!
Gareth: HAHA, the boy's gonna feel that tomorrow!
Finn just smiled sheepishly before feeling the killing intent from Alfia and Meteria. Rolan quickly guided everyone's attention back to screen and saved the prum's life for now.
Finn: Ah, whoops.
He went over to the wall he knocked Bell into and pulled him out. The boy was dazed, but still conscious.
Finn: Sorry about that, your attack surprised me.
Bell: It's fine, so how did I do?
Finn: You did excellent. We can go talk with Loki now. And don't worry, most of the familia is out for now so the place should be mostly empty except for guards and anyone on house duty.
Loki: So, he's with me now?
Rolan: Yes, he is. I'll be forwarding this a bit now.
The screen blacks out and shines again to show Bell fighting a minotaur on floor 5.
Bete: Oh boy.
Finn: Fate is cruel to everyone sometimes.
Alfia: Loki...
The trickster goddess felt a chill before turning to the silver hair.
Loki: I-It was an accident, see. The monsters escaped from them and the b-boy got caught in the crossfire.
Alfia was already cracking her knuckles before Rolan had to divert her attention again.
Back on screen...
Bell had hit a dead end and the minotaur had caught up with him. Having nowhere to run, he had to fight the monster if he wanted to escape alive. Everyone watched with great worry as he fought.
Hestia: Bell had almost gotten killed by that thing. How long has he had his falna here?
Rolan: About 8 days give or take.
Everyone collectively gasped as Eina went to scold him.
Eina: WHY ARE YOU DOWN ON FLOOR 5?!!
Bell: How should I know? This world is different!
Bell was already at a disadvantage. He was about to give way before a beam of light save him.
???: Arc's Ray!
The boy heard the voice and was confused at where it came from. That is until he saw the minotaur had a hole in its chest and soon turned to dust. He look and saw his savior was an orange haired elf. He remembers her from when Finn introduced him to everyone.
Bell: Miss Lefiya!
Lefiya: Bell, are you alright?!
Bell: I will be, thank you for helping me.
The two soon made their way up, making small talk on the way. It turned out that Lefiya was practicing her concurrent chanting skills on weak monster here before she heard the minotaur. Riveria had asked her to go on ahead with the first group of the expedition back from floor 50. She stayed in Rivira before climbing up when the others arrived. She asked Bell how he was doing in the dungeon and he said he was handling himself well. The monsters so far weren't much of a challenge anymore so he planned to ask for permission to go deeper soon.
As they talked, the Loki familia was in shock at how their elf was acting.
Tiona: Is that really Lefiya?
Riveria: She's acting very different from here.
Lili: There's a big lack of trying to kill Master Bell and calling him a "filthy human."
Rolan: Well that's because Bell wasn't attracted to Ais in this world.
Bell: Huh?
At that, Ais was frozen at the god's words.
Ais: (He doesn't love me there?!)
Aria: Sweetie?
Lefiya: He's not after Miss Ais?
Rolan: On the contrary, the one he likes will eventually be you.
A moment of silence passed before everyone screamed.
Everyone: HUUUUH?!
The elf included, turned beet red. The other women went into a jealous rage.
Hestia: I knew that elf was after him!
Lili: Lili won't give up Master Bell that easily!
Ryuu: (Forgive me sister elf, but this means war!)
She gave Lefiya a death glare while Lefiya didn't see it, she felt it and shuddered. As they sent her their death wishes, Lefiya was wondering how she felt about the boy after hearing about their fate together. The screen blacked out again to show Bell's fight against another minotaur. Everyone was amazed at how the boy was holding his own.
Mikoto: His skills are amazing! He has the upper hand!
Welf: Go get him, Bell!
Gareth: This boy is something else.
Riveria: I can see that he's even stronger than in our world.
Rolan: That he is. That's because Loki had told Bell of his skill.
The Hestia familia, except Bell jumped a little at that.
Bell: Goddess, what does he mean by that.
Hestia was sweating even more at this.
Rolan: Don't worry, I can tell him.
Bell: Tell me what?
Rolan: Your first skill isn't what you think it is. It isn't argonaut, it's far more special than that. It is special because it never came from a level up, you willed it into existence.
Bell: I what?
Loki: What does that mean.
Rolan: Well, after Ais saved him, he fell deeply in love. His fervent wish to become strong enough to stand by her side was so pure and strong that his falna reacted and gave the skill to him.
Many were amazed at how the boy was able to create his own skill. Ais and Bell were both blushing at how his secret was revealed to everyone.
Loki: What exactly makes it so special.
Rolan: It's special in that it allows him to grow much faster than normal. That effect is fueled by his feeling and grows stronger along with them. Since he is always chasing after his goals, his skill is always in great effect causing him to grow in a matter of weeks rather than months and years. Not only that, the skill allows him to break past the S rank barrier and hit ranks far above it. This would allow Bell to fight opponents much stronger than him.
Everyone couldn't believe his words. Even Bell was shocked at the power of his skill, but soon felt sad that his goddess had to keep it from him.
Loki: That's gotta be the most broken skill I've ever heard of! Why'd you have to keep that a secret.
Rolan: Because if she hadn't, a god could easily force Bell to spill the secret about it. Hestia and everyone else did it for Bell. They knew full well he wasn't the best at keeping secrets, less from gods, and that he would beat himself up if he dared put his friends in danger.
The god turned to Bell.
Rolan: Bell, all I ask is that you understand their intentions. They only wanted to protect you.
Bell had a moment of silence before saying his peace.
Bell: Everyone, please, let's not hide anymore secrets among each other.
They all nodded and smiled at him.
Welf: Thanks for understanding.
Hestia: I'm glad you aren't mad either.
Bell: Who says I'm not mad?!
The boy took on a grim expression before grinning a little. His friends soon were shaking.
Bell: I don't have it in me to punish you myself right now, but I don't have to.
Their attention then turned to Alfia, Meteria and Hera who had dark auras around them.
Welf: C-Come on, man. Y-You wouldn't do this to us, right?
Mikoto: W-We've been through so much together.
Bell: Wow, no kidding, this floor is intriguing.
Bell had ignored them and left them to face his family's wrath. After a long lecture from them, they all had ghosts escaping their mouths and several bumps on their heads as the show continued. Before ending at the moment where Bell went up to level 2.
Loki: Congrats kid, you're level 2 now.
Bell: Thank you, goddess.
Bell was smiling at his paper and showed it to everyone. They were amazed to see that he broke the record for fastest level up with only a short 20 days. Goes to show how the Loki familia training was better for his growth. Lefiya was happy for her friend and the screen blacked out for a final time showing the two enjoying a moment alone together.
Rolan: So, what did you think?
Loki: It was great. I knew he would be in a better place with me, and I'm even happier than Ais isn't his target this time.
Loki was answered with a slap to the head from Ais. The girl was in a jealous rage that Bell didn't love her there as she stared Lefiya down.
Ais: He was my bunny!
Lefiya: T-That wasn't our world, please calm down! W-W-Wait, Miss Ais! AAHHHHHH!!!
She chased the elf down as everyone was think about this world.
Bell: It's nice to know I had a place there, but I belong with everyone here.
Welf: And we wouldn't have it any other way.
The rest of his familia nodded in agreement.
Zeus: So, what next?
Rolan: Hm...
AN: And that's the next one down. As for the next world, I'm tied to two choices that you'll have to wait and see for.
