Hey! I just wanted to say, thank you so much for the amazing support I've gotten! Special thanks to Avia's author, Wolfik128, and Ellie's author, Bloodylilcorpse, for answering the small questions I needed answers to!
A big thank you also goes to ninjedi, who's commented on almost all the chapters using PMs, pointing out the typos, and reminding me that I barely remembered Ellie existed last chapter XD
Now, we have 14 competitors, and more drama upcoming.
Winnie still couldn't believe herself. She had let Tyson manipulate her for a dumb challenge! Her chance at winning…it was all over.
"Hey Winnie, Tyson's trying to talk to you!" Ellie said, opening the door.
Winnie sniffled. "Tell Tyson I don't want to see him," she said. Ellie said to Tyson what Winnie wanted, and slammed the door on him.
"Winnie, I'm sorry, I didn't know it would mean so much to you, I-" Tyson tried to open the door, but Ellie had put a chair in front of the chair, and sat with Winnie on the bed.
"It's okay, It's okay," Ellie reassured, hugging Winnie.
Winnie wiped up her tears and smiled. "Who needs a wannabe jock anyway when you have a creative friend like you?" she asked.
But Winnie wasn't the only one with a broken heart. Glenn and Kahil were both sulking on their beds.
"Why, why? I thought Faith had warmed up to me!" Glenn whined.
Kahil added, "Did my bad luck spread to Brynn's elimination?"
Glenn said, "No, no! It didn't! It was..WHY DID FAITH DO SUCH A THING!" as the two cried about their heartbreaks, Alexander looked over to the two.
"It's just romance, man up," he said snarkily.
Glenn wailed, "But haven't you seen love before?"
Alexander sighed, like it was the stupidest question in the world. "I don't HAVE romantic feelings for ANYONE, let alone anyone on this dumb island. I'm glad Brynn is gone."
"Just shut up or you're getting the Glenn shoe," Kahil said.
Meanwhile, Debbie was confused about the black flu mask. She couldn't worry about that though, she was tired. She put on her black tank top that read "Gryphons" in red, black and gold, and her baggy grey sweatpants. She saw that Kevin was out of his cabin and onto the cabin deck, so she went out and sat down. "Have you seen anything weird lately Kevin?" She asked.
Kevin replied, "Does Trenton trying to flirt with hot girls count?"
"You're such a sweetheart Kevin!" laughed Debbie. Kevin, once hearing that, blushed crazily.
Debbie asked, "You okay?" Kevin nodded.
"Yeah, I'm just gonna try to sleep." Kevin went into his cabin, going back to bed, but Debbie couldn't sleep. Not one bit.
Meanwhile, Trenton was trying to talk to a squirrel at the window. "Squeak squeak squeak squeak!" Trenton exclaimed. The squirrel in mention was confused, and just ran away. "SQUEAK!" Trenton wailed as the squirrel left his eye of sight.
"What the hell are you doing," Gage asked, waking up.
Trenton replied, "Talking to the squirrels, ok? Now go back to sleep and do normal stupid people stuff."
As Gage fell back to sleep, he knew he had to eliminate Trenton. He was just too stupid.
At The Mess Hall
All fourteen were sitting together at one table. "So! Let's get to know eachother better! What are y'all scared of?" Ellie asked.
Alexander replied, "clowns. I was left at an amusement park when I was little, and It was terrifying."
Kahil sighed. "Bunnies," he mumbled.
"Bunnies? How stupid!" Trenton laughed.
Kahil asked, "Then what's YOUR phobia?"
"Nothing!" Trenton responded happily.
Glenn said, "Well, I'm scared of being alone.."
"I really don't like Holes.." Tyson sighed.
Winnie asked sarcastically, "How can you be scared of a BOOK? My fear is clowns, but mine is normal compared to a BOOK."
The group laughed, as Tyson stuttered. "I-I meant holes as in h-holes, not the book, I like the book!"
Ellie said, "My phobia is swimming alone. I can swim amazingly with others, but when I'm alone im Terrified."
"As Avia knows," Sydney added, "I hate thunderstorms. Speaking of Avia, what's your fear?"
Avia replied, "I guess being a failure. But I can beat my fear, obviously." she scoffed. "You're next, Wesley!"
Wesley said, "Cats. It's a long story."
"For a second, Kahil's fear makes sense," mumbled Faith.
"And your fear IS?" retorted Wesley.
Faith smirked. "Aliens. But Aliens aren't real, so I can say the fear isn't really a 'fear' anymore, just a conscious disturbance."
"I'm-I'm uh..scared of crowds of people watching me.." stammered Kevin, looking down to the ground uncomfortably.
Gage said, "I don't have a fear, obviously. Ask anyone!"
Faith, seeming suspicious, looked over to Trenton. "Does Gage have a fear?"
"No," Trenton replied. Faith wasn't buying it still, so she snuck away, looking for anything that could tell her the truth.
Everyone looked over at Debbie, who blushed and looked down uncomfortably. "I'm scared of Sierra. I just think she's psycho, and if I was her crush I would wanna die."
Debbie: "I'm actually scared of something else more than Sierra, but there's KID audiences on this show, so I'm keeping everything PG."
Just then, Chris stepped into the mess hall, grinning from ear to ear. "Thanks so much for the phobias! We have six members on the walruses, and eight on the Iguanas. Therefore, Trenton and Gage's fears will count double. Why Trenton and Gage? Because they said they had no fears."
"We don't have fears, so if we possibly DID, how would you find out?" asked Trenton, suspicious.
Chris smirked. "I know stuff. And I also know that Alexander is up first!"
Alexander's Fear
Clowns
"Okay, can we just GET THIS OVER WITH?" Asked Alexander angrily.
Chris whispered, "Look behind you." Alexander looked around, and saw a creepy clown, with a balloon in his hand.
"Would you like this?" The clown asked innocently, with his mouth wide open. He screamed, but inside he was immediately thinking of what to do. He remembered what Trent did with the mime, and immediately started dashing towards the dock, his heart pounding. The Clown realised what Alexander was doing, and kept at a slow but steady pace, as he chased Alexander. Once Alexander was at the dock, he stopped and stepped to the side, assuming The Clown would fall into the water, but The Clown stopped in time, turning its head over to the devious actor.
"Oh sh-" Alexander started, before the clown jumped on him, not giving the point.
Wesley's Fear
Cats
Wesley shivered a bit looking at the spiky-haired black cat right in front of him. The cat's sharp claws creeped slowly over to Wesley. Wesley's cowardliness had at this moment got the best of him, as he just stood there, trembling in fear. But he didn't give up. He stared at the cat, trying to stare it down. Both of them stared at each other.
"What's going on.." mumbled Chris, watching Wesley stare down the cat.
Minutes later, Wesley had almost stared the cat down. He was struggling to not blink, but he needed to face his fear. He couldn't be a coward. Not again. He watched as the cat creeped away from Wesley, and as his team got the point.
Kahil's Fear
Bunnies
Kahil was in a fenced area, with bunnies all around him.
Kahil: "Bunnies once gnawed my freaking foot off!"
The bunnies noticed Kahil's bad luck, and immediately jumped onto his face. Kahil, panicking, tried to shoo the bunnies off his face. He got most of them off, but one stayed and left a huge bleeding scratch over his forehead.
"God damn you bunny!" Kahil screeched. Since he had not run away though, the Iguanas earned a point.
Kevin's Fear
Public Speaking
Kevin's face went pale. Chris had invited a bunch of fans of the show to be part of Kevin's fear.
"I-uh.." stammered Kevin. He looked to the ground, trying to find words. "It's really..really nice to see that-that you all came.." he mumbled. He looked up, and saw the group smiling at him, giving him the thumbs up. The support gave him his confidence to continue.
"I've noticed that..uh..this island has really given me some things i've never had, such as a friend I made by myself- not from my sister or my mom. It's also given me someone I have strong emotions for ... .strong feelings for," he looked over to his team, and smiled. "So I guess that's my speech." Everyone clapped, and Kevin earned his point.
Glenn's Fear
Being Alone (Plus Bears)
Glenn was in the forest, all alone. "This is gonna be a nightmare," mumbled Glenn. He sat down, and looked up to the tree landscape. Then, he heard a little cute chitter from a tree. Glenn got up, then held out his hand. The squirrel landed on Glenn's hand, chittering happily. But the moment didn't last for long, because seconds later the city boy heard a Roar…
"What's that roar?" Glenn asked. Nobody responded. Glenn turned his head to the left, and saw a bear going up to him. He was about to scream, until he remembered a fact from first grade. "Don't scream close to a bear- the bear will come to you. If you say nothing, it will walk away."
Glenn knew that, but he still needed to figure out a way to relax so he wouldn't scream.
He thought of his friends..he thought of his city, he even thought of Faith after everything.
By the time he exited his thoughts, the bear had left and he had earned a point.
Faith's Fear
Aliens
Faith was given a VR headset. "Okay," she said, putting on the headset. Immediately, she was transported into a world where a million aliens were running towards her, their muddy, glossy, clay-like skin glooping to the ground.
"No no no no no!" Faith panicked. She jumped above the aliens, and ran away from them too, before removing the headset.
Faith asked, "I was able to escape, so I get the point. Right?"
"Technically, you didn't face or even stop your fear, so…" Chris pointed out. Faith's face grew red, and she glared at Chris.
"Give. me. The. POINT!" She said with her gritted teeth. She then kicked Chris right where it hurt.
Chris said, "Still not getting the point.."
Tyson's Fear
Holes
Raina smiled at the camera. "Chris ended up having to sit out of a fear due to the-" she would snicker- "ball pain- I'm gonna be doing Tyson and Gage's fear! Pretty fitting, since I was the one who actually figured out Gage's fear in the first place."
Tyson stood facing Raina, a bit nervous on how he would face his 'fear.'
"Walk into that," Raina said, pointing to a pile of sticks. A bit confused and a bit wary, Tyson walked into the pile of sticks.
Tyson: "I will face my fear! I WILL FACE MY FEAR!"
Tyson stepped into the pile of sticks, and fell into a deep hole. He screamed and fell into the hole, getting a small bruise on his cheek. He groaned, and sat up in the deep hole.
Raina shouted down below, "UNLIKE other dares, you must escape this hole. IN FIVE MINUTES! Why is it different, because we didn't bother to spend time on your fear since you're forgettable!"
"AM NOT!" shouted Tyson. Looking around, Tyson saw copies of the Holes book, and laughed.
"Is he seriously laughing right now.." Raina said to herself.
Tyson looked up to the glimmer, then said, "I can make it." Tyson quickly grabbed a Holes copy, and held it with his teeth. He jumped up, and hung onto a hole in the dirt wall. He jumped up again to the side, hanging onto another hole. The higher he got, the more shocked Raina got.
"How are you doing this?" Raina asked confusingly. She watched as Tyson slowly jumped to the top. Moments later, just in front of her, was Tyson, grinning. "Points deserved," Raina said. Tyson smiled, then looked in Winnie's direction. Shockingly, she wasn't even looking at Tyson.
Winnie: "Tyson broke my heart then chewed it out then spit it out then called it names and then LAUGHED! No forgiveness from M-E, ME."
Gage's Fear
?
Gage was crossing his arms, his stern look at Raina harder than rock. "So..what's my fear," he said.
"Oh Gage, looks like your fear isn't even known by you," Raina said. "COME ON OUT, MCMURRAYS!"
Gage looked over to his right, and saw his siblings. Kenna and Jenna McMurray, the older twin pair, and Mark and Marson, the younger pair- both pairs older than Gage.
"Hey.." Gage said, his voice a bit trembling.
Kenna laughed. "Oh wow Gage. Seems like you dropped down to such a level that you had to join TOTAL DRAMA to get your 15 episodes of fame."
"Shut up, Kenna!" Jenna exclaimed. "But seriously. You failed. As always!"
Gage looked down. "No, I didn't.."
Mark then stepped towards Gage. "I made it onto the best sports team in Canada. Marson's in HARVARD. Kenna's a model, Jenna's working for Google, and what are you doing? Trying to follow along. You are a failure. SUCK IT UP!" Gage was fighting back tears at the moment.
Meanwhile, Avia was watching Gage deal with his fear, worried about what it would mean for her fear.
"Failure!" The four siblings repeated. Gage just stood there, facing his fears head on, and not shedding a single tear. After a minute or two, the pairs of twins walked away, and Gage sighed.
"Did I do it?" Gage asked. Raina nodded. Gage looked over to Faith, and smirked.
Winnie's Fear
Clowns
Winnie was sitting in front of a television. Chris, who had just recovered, was holding the remote.
"If you are able to watch all of IT without turning it off, you face your fear. You may cover your ears, but you may not cover your eyes," Chris explained the rules. Just then, Chris turned the movie on, and Winnie trembled as she sat and watched the first minutes, immediately reliving moments from her past.
During Winnie's Fear
For the long period of time as Winnie's fear went on, Tyson was laying on the beach, looking at the sky, cloud images filling his mind.
"I don't get it…What can I do to impress her?" Tyson asked, sad.
Tyson: "I was never looking for love. But now that I have it, it's so hard to let the feeling go.."
"I think I can help with Winnie," Ellie said, sitting down next to Tyson. Tyson sat up, sitting next to the strawberry blonde.
Tyson asked, "How could you?"
Ellie replied, "I'll make sure Winnie's forgiven you by the end of the day." Tyson smiled at Ellie.
"Thank you..thank you so much," Tyson said.
Winnie's Fear
Clowns
The movie was almost over, and Winnie was close to losing it. Everything was dimming down, but she still felt like her body was about to explode.
"Almost…done…" Winnie said, struggling to not turn off the movie. In that exact moment, the movie started rolling the credits, and Winnie sighed in relief, returning to the crowd.
Ellie's Fear
Swimming…Alone
"Don't ask why we switched up the organisation!" Chris pointed out. "Ellie here must stay in the water alone for TEN MINUTES." Ellie was sitting on a speedboat, being led out to the deep, deep, deepest part of the lake, seconds away.
Ellie reached the lake, and dipped in. She treaded water, and looked around frantically. "Don't panic..don't panic.." she kept muttering to herself. Suddenly, she felt a slight tug on her leg. She looked down, and saw someone with a gas mask on their face.
"Don't panic," the voice said, tugging Ellie down.
"Wait..THIS WASN'T PART OF THE PLAN!" Chris exclaimed. "HENDERSON!" Chris yelled, towards his new intern.
"Yeah?" The new intern asked, a blonde female.
Chris said, "Go make sure what's going on with Ellie!"
The intern chuckled. "Oh, don't worry. It's all part of the plan. I added it at the last second after looking over her profile."
Chris smiled. "Nice job, Henderson!" He said to the intern.
"All part of the plan…"
Meanwhile, Ellie was still struggling to stay above water, so she had to do what she had to do.
"GET ME OUT!" Ellie screamed. Immediately, a speedboat was travelling to Ellie, picking her up and giving her a towel. "I'm so doomed.." Ellie mumbled after losing the point.
Debbie's Fear
Sierra
Debbie was at the campfire, tapping her hand on her leg. She heard whispers. "I know you're there! Don't be afraid!" She said, thinking it was Kevin or even Trenton talking to the squirrels. But she saw a strand of purple coming from the bush.
"Oh no!" Debbie said, looking over. Sierra slowly creeped out of the bush, smiling.
"Give me photos of Cody," Sierra said. She stepped closer to Debbie, and Debbie was fighting every urge to step back.
Debbie thought she wouldn't be able to do it, but she found her fists clenching, her teeth gritting, her brain working.
Debbie: "Who said that girls can't play basketball!"
Debbie grabbed a deflated basketball in her pocket, and pumped it up with her strong blow of air, almost like a balloon. She then slammed the basketball into Sierra's head, making her run away.
"GO AWAY!" Debbie exclaimed. "AND STAY AWAY FROM CODY!"
Sydney's Fear
Thunderstorms
Sydney was standing, looking up at the sky. Chris got out his phone, and called his friend. "Hello? Sarah? Yeah, right over Muskoka. Thanks!" Just then, a thunderous cloud came over to camp Wawanawkwa, immediately starting to rain.
"Easy," Sydney said, just standing there and not being bothered. "I've faced my fear before."
As the artificial thunderstorm went on, Sydney just smiled and let the rain get on her hair.
The thunderstorm ended, the cloud went away, and Sydney ran to find Avia once the point was added to her score.
"I did it!" exclaimed Sydney, running over to Avia.
Avia smiled. "See? That wasn't that bad, It was actually feel-what am I even saying.." Avia interrupted herself, bursting into laughter.
Trenton's Fear
Heights
"Okay Trenton, get on," Chris said, giving Trenton a big pogo stick.
Trenton smiled. "Seems cool!" He got onto the pogo stick, and it bounced him up really high.
"WHOAAAAAAAH!" he screamed as the pogo stick blasted himself into the air.
"Stay on the stick for 1 minute to face your fear!" Chris exclaimed as Trenton kept on bouncing up and down.
Trenton closed his eyes, trying to get the time to speed up, but it seemed like time slowed down.
10..
9…
8…
7..,
6…
5…
4..
3..
Trenton was going down, and the stress was getting to his head. He thought time was up, so he jumped off of the pogo stick, and looked at Chris. "It was 60 seconds, right?" he asked.
Chris looked at him, about to burst with laughter, and showed Trenton the stopwatch.
00:00:00:58
"No, Ducking, Way," Trenton said. He sighed, and went into the boys cabin.
Trenton: "It's All over. It's all over…"
Chris smiled at the camera. "Time for a recap! Right now both teams have five points! If Avia faces her fear, the Iguanas will win! If she cannot, both teams go to elimination!"
Avia: "I saw Gage face his fear. AND I saw his strategy. I just need to ignore whatever they say, and victory for Iguanas!"
Avia stood there, arms crossed and secret earplugs in.
"Come on in, Sulka's!" Chris said, bringing in Avia's mom and dad. One of her older sisters came.
"Where's Abby," Avia asked. Her mom replied, "Busy with college, something that with your grades, you'll never achieve."
Her dad then added, "And Aria ended up getting straight A's while you were gone!" Aria, being one of the older siblings,
As the parents pointed out all of Avia's little flaws, it became harder for Avia to stay silent. When it got too hard for her to ignore, she screamed, "STOP! YOU'RE NOT MAKING IT ANY EASIER!"
Everyone became silent, and Chris dinged a bell. "THE POINT IS SCORED AND THE IGUANAS WIN!"
Avia gasped in surprise, and looked over to her family to see their reactions.
"Don't worry sis, things will have changed by the time your back," Aria said to her little sister. The family left, and Avia ran to go hug Sydney.
"We both finished our fears!" Avia smiled.
Sydney added, "And now both of us are safe!"
Meanwhile
Trenton knew time was short before he would be eliminated. He could have gotten two points and won it for the team immediately, but he couldn't! He looked around for something he could remember Total Drama by.
Trenton looked down, and saw something. A star, looking like it had been drawn in the dirt by a knife. He ran to the cabin to find Kevin.
"Kevin! Kevin!" Trenton exclaimed, grabbing Kevin's hand and dragging him to the forest.
"What.." groaned Kevin.
Trenton said, "There's a weird star here. What does it mean?"
Kevin responded, "I remember this star. It was The Chaos Star, my sister Taylor had a project on the Chaos Star when I was little!"
Trenton pondered what that meant, before letting Kevin go and continuing his search.
As this went on, Debbie was just exiting the girls cabin where he saw Wesley. "Hey Debbie!" Wesley said, smirking.
"What," Debbie replied.
Wesley smiled. "I suggest you vote Trenton, because I have a secret."
Debbie's face turned pale, and nodded before running back into the cabin.
The Elimination
Chris watched as the six arrived at the bonfire again. "You've cast your votes, and made your decision. I hope nobody made any mistakes this time. HENDERSON! GO GET THE BALLOT BOX!" The intern ran to the confessional booth to get the votes.
Kevin smiled at Trenton. "Thanks for everything.." he said.
Trenton sighed, knowing this was the moment.
Chris said, "The votes are in! The people safe are, Kevin, Wesley, Gage, and Debbie."
Kevin ran up to grab his marshmallow, hoping Faith would be gone.
Wesley was giggling inside, on how he had gotten the elimination turned around.
Gage was excited to see Faith go.
Debbie was trying to make it so she voted Faith, so Kevin wouldn't be mad.
"And the final marshmallow goes to.." Chris said, raising his voice.
Faith glared at Trenton, and Trenton stuck his tongue out at Faith.
"Faith," Chris announced. Faith smirked, and grabbed her marshmallow.
"Too bad so sad Trenton. Say goodbye to the others, and leave this island," Faith said.
Trenton sighed, but smiled as he walked across the dock. He had made it farther than 8 people. That had to be good, right?
Votes
Wesley: He voted for Trenton. "I like seeing Faith, and she was the only other…failure."
Kevin: He voted for Faith. "He said he was fine with going, but there's no issue with trying.."
Faith: She voted for Trenton. "Is anyone really surprised?"
Gage: He voted for Faith. "Screw you Faith! This time for GOOD."
Debbie: She voted for Trenton. "I heard from Wesley that he was voting Trenton, so I guess I just did. I know I'll make Kevin sad, but as long as he doesn't know, It will be fine."
Trenton: He voted for himself. "There's no use."
"HENDERSON!" Chris called out, towards his intern.
"Yeah?" she asked.
Chris smiled. "We need someone to debut. Can you find us some new applications, fast?"
The intern smiled. "Oh, of course I will…" she looked at the camera with the most diabolical look the game had ever had.
This game was not going to end well as long as she kept everything her way.
