The screen lit once more, and immediately everyone saw Freya staring off to the sun in the distance.
Freya: That boy's strength continues to grow. He's shining even brighter than last time, but something is holding him back.
It flashed Bell and the minotaur face to face with each other.
Hera: *Scowling* (I already don't like where this is going.)
Welf: That's getting more and more concerning.
Bell: Tell me about it. I had no idea she's been watching me for so long.
Alfia: Let's just keep watching.
Freya: However, he will be free from his fear once he is strong enough. It's in your hands now, Ottarl.
That left many confused, Syr and Ottarl sweating and Finn licking his thumb again.
Finn: (Could this really be a coincidence?)
He kept it in the back of his mind for now. Back on screen, it switched to Bell and Lili who were walking back to the church. On the way there, Bell happened to touch Lili's fake ears again.
Lili: Master Bell!!
Bell: Oh, I forgot again, sorry.
Her tail wagged while her face was flushed. The boy was amazed at the new characteristics she gave herself. Back in the audience, the girls got jealous of Lili's attention once more.
Haruhime: Master Bell?
Bell: A-Are you sure? *Blushing*
She too was blushing, but nodded. Bell then scratched behind her fox ears as she moaned happily causing the girls to get more jealous.
Hestia: Haruhime, what are you doing?!
Artemis looked slightly sad before Elpis grabbed her shoulder.
Artemis: Huh?
Elpis: Follow my lead.
Bell finished with Haruhime after a bit which left her thoroughly satisfied. The boy then had another problem to deal with.
Elpis: Bell.
Artemis: O-Orion?
Bell: Huh?!
The boy had his face explode in red when he saw the two lookalikes in front of him with fake cat ears on their heads. It was clear enough they wanted attention too, so with no other choice, he patted them on the head too leaving them both happy. The other girls were now jealous at how they hadn't thought of that while others were trying not to laugh.
Back on screen...
Bell: I still can't help but be amazed. You never said you had magic like this.
Lili: Yeah, cool right? No one will be able to recognize me because of it, so I'll be fine if I lay low for a few days.
Bell: I guess that works out, but is that fine with you?
Lili: As long as you recognize me, then it's all good. Anyway, are you sure you're ok with me?
Bell: ?
Lili: *Looks away* I tricked you and did horrible things to you. I understand if you won't forgive me.
Bell: There's nothing you have to worry about. Come on.
That didn't reassure her. The two had arrived and Hestia had finally met the supporter face to face.
Hestia: So, you're this Lili I've heard so much about? Bell's already told me everything.
Bell: I'll go grab some tea from downstairs. Oh wait, we only have two teacups!
The Goddess saw the free real estate right in front of her and was quick to capitalize.
Hestia: No need to worry; I'm happy to share a teacup!
Bell: It's fine, I'll just drink from a bowl or something. *Leaving*
Hestia: *Sigh* Back to business. *Turns to Lili* I have a very important question for you. Tell me, can I trust you to never try something like that again?
Lili: *Nods* Yes, I swear. You both have my allegiance. He saved my life and I will never betray him, no matter what.

Lili: *Looks up*

Her animal features showed her feeling down and Hestia was quick to notice it.
Hestia: From now on, you will be looking out for him. I want you to make sure no one like you tries to trick him. If this whole mess has taught me one thing, it's that something like this could happen again if he's all on his own. Also, if you feel this guilty now, then it's on you to fix that problem. No one else can do this for you. Prove to me that you want to make up for your mistakes with action.
Lili: I will, Goddess.
Hestia: You can stay in a party with him, but you better watch it, or else.
Bell: *From downstairs* Teatime!
Hestia: *Whispering* One last thing: Don't try to get close to him or you'll regret it!!!

Hestia: Bell!!! *Hugging his arm*

The prum was in shock at how the Goddess was acting with Bell.

A smug, predatory grin appeared on her face as she gripped his arm tighter.
Hestia: (Don't think I'll let you just waltz into our lives and steal Bell from me!)
Lili was caught off guard at first, but she stood her ground as she removed he cloak and took his other arm, much to the shock of the other two.
Lili: Of course, I'mglad to help him whenever I can!
She stared back at Hestia.
Lili: (I won't let anyone stand between me and Master Bell, even if it's a Goddess!)
The two were glaring at each other while Bell was still stuck between them. It soon became too much and he broke out and ran away.
Hestia: No!!!
Lili: Master Bell!!!
The two were unable to stop him from leaving and returned to their cat fight while Bell kept walking.
Bell: Way too awkward...
Back in the audience...
Welf: Man, I'm kinda glad I wasn't there for that. It's bad enough with those two now.
Lili: You say something, Master Welf?!
Welf: N-No!
Zeus: Two beautiful women grabbing your arm and you run away. We need to work on that.
Hera: *Punches him* Don't listen to him; that was a smart choice, Bell.

She went to look at each member of the Hestia Familia and found that they couldn't meet her eyes.
Mikoto: W-Well... you see...

Hestia: G-Guys?
Zeus: I think we've seen them fight over my boy plenty of times to know the answer.
Alfia: You know you're only going to push more people away by acting like that, right?
Rolan: She is correct. There are those who've seen how everyone here behaves.
Bell: What does that mean?
Rolan: Well, you know how you are able to read stories from the past to know the people from that time, correct?
They nodded.
Rolan: Well, that's a similar case to everyone here. People are reading the story that you've all been writing for yourselves since before you all arrived.

Rolan: Correct, and they have their favorites as well.
The god switched from the show for a moment to show an image to everyone.

The girls looked for their names and where they stood in the pecking order. Some were disappointed to see a low score while others were surprised to see theirs.

The girl's face turn blue as she kneeled to her mother.

AN: Just six more episode plus the OVA, then begins my pain.
The rest who saw themselves on the low end decided to believe his words and have more confidence in themselves. However, those from Freya's Familia were angered seeing their Goddess so low. They were about to cry out before a glare from their captain and Goddess silenced them.
Allen: Why are you stopping us?!
Hedin: What is the meaning of this?!
Ottarl: *Glaring* D-Do as you're told!
The two felt the fear emanating from him, but the look from their Goddess made them decide to drop it.
Ottarl: (What's coming next will make my duel with Zald look like a bunch of pushups.)

The waitress gulped as they returned to the show. Bell could be seen walking into the guild looking for Eina.
Bell: She isn't here?
Eina: Bell?
He turned and saw her sitting off to the side next to a certain swordswoman. After locking eyes with her, Bell immediately got nervous and tried to make a hasty retreat but bumped into someone.

Welf: Why am I not surprised?
Bell: *Blushing*
Zeus: Bell my boy, you mustn't run away from a woman. You have to embrace them fully for what they are.

Time stopped in the audience when they saw the boy pick himself up only to walk face first into the Sword Princess' butt.
Zeus: *Awakened* YEEEEESS!!! JUST LIKE THAT!!! THAT'S MY BOY!!!

Rolan: We can ignore the fact he did that on accident.
Loki felt herself get stabbed multiple times while other members of the Familia went into shock.

The girl then exploded in red after understanding. Back on screen, Bell pulled himself out and screamed.
AN: Yes, that one. There was only one canon scream and Iwon't have any arguements.
It was the that Eina came and scolded him.
Eina: Bell, don't be rude!
Bell: I-I'm sorry, but why is she here?! *Looking back to Ais*
Eina: Lady Wallenstein apparently wants to speak with you.
Now everyone could see Ais and Bell talking, and the boy was still very nervous around her.
Ais: Recently, you got attacked by a group of orcs, right?
Bell: T-That's right! How did you know?
Ais: *Holds up his green vambrace* This. You dropped it down there and I picked it up.
She handed it back to him.
Bell: Wait, so you saved me? (Again)
Ais: I want to apologize to you. You wouldn't have gotten hurt that day if Ididn't let that minotaur escape. *Bowing* Forgive me.
Bell: No, I should be the one apologizing! I owe my life to you and yet I kept running away from you! *Bowing* I'm sorry.
Ais was shocked at the boy apologizing back to her since she felt she did him wrong. That eventually faded and she was able to smile at him. Bell enjoyed seeing that face on her and Eina was glad everything worked out.
Loki: Grrr... why'd it have to be rabbit boy that helped her break out?
Riveria: We've been over this. Just let it happen.
Back on screen, the two were walking out of the guild together.
Ais: I see you've been working hard.
Bell: Hm?
Ais: It took you such a short amount of time to reach Floor 10. You should be proud of that.
Bell: No, that isn't true. *Slump* I'm still not strong enough. My skill is also lacking, so I'm not that great.
Ais: No one was there to teach you how to fight?
Bell: No.
Ais: Then, what if I helped you?
Bell: Huh?
It was then that Ais in the audience got nervous. The started trembling once the three main heads looked at her.
AN: I don't remember if they ever found out about this, so I'm playing it like they never knew.
Finn: (Hm, now this is quite the development.)
Gareth: (Now, what do we have here? This should be good.)
Riveria: (So this is what they did together.)
Back on screen, the two were now on the wall during the very early point of the day.
Riveria: Why does the boy look tired already? Did they start yet?
Rolan: No, he ran into some trouble on his way there.
Tiona: Trouble?
Lefiya: That... may have been my fault...
Meteria: What happened?
Lefiya: I saw Miss Ais sneaking out and I went to follow her when I bumped into him. When I said I was part of the Loki Familia, he got nervous and ran away. I figured he knew something so I chased him.
Rolan: That's about the gist of it.
He changed it for a moment to show Lefiya trying to catch Bell who was running away.
Bete: Wasn't he only level one at the time? How did you not catch him with two extra levels on you?
Lefiya: I-It's not my fault! That guy is a master at running away.
Everyone was laughing at seeing the angry Lefiya chase the boy.
Bell: Can you blame me after seeing that?!
Ais: That explains why you said a fairy chased you.
Rolan changed the screen back to Ais and Bell when they were about to begin training.
Bell: I want to thank you for your help again, Lady Wallenstein.
Ais: Ais. Just Ais is fine.
Bell: I-If you say so. W-What should I start with, Miss Ais?
Ais: Good question. I'm not sure about whats best for you yet. Your knife is your main weapon. Are you good with martial arts?
Bell: Not really.
Ais: May I borrow it?
She took the knife and did a few practice poses for Bell, though many in the audience sweat dropped at her.
Bell: I see. Uh, do you think you could do that one again?
She suddenly did a spin kick and hit Bell square in the face.

Alfia: *Glare*
Ais: *Spine chill*
Bell: Ugh... yup, she's good at this...
She walked up to him to see how he was.
Ais: I'm sorry.
Bell: No, I'm fine. *cough*
Ais: Now then, show me what you can do.
She drew her sword, then put it aside and took the scabbard in her hand. She got into a stance before Bell drew his own knife.
Ais: I thought so.
Bell: ?
Ais: That was a reflex. Once you're in tune with your surroundings, then you can use your reflexes more effectively in battle.
She walked forward and Bell stepped back.
Ais: You're afraid. That's good since it keeps you in check and alert, but there's more to it to you than that.
The roar of the minotaur echoed in the boy's mind.
Meteria: Bell...
Bell: It's fine, I've gotten over it already.
He glanced to Asterius who was fully watching the show in front of him.
Zald: That's good. After what happened to you, I wouldn't blame anyone who be paralyzed with fear from that, but I don't have to worry.
Zeus: I'm still curious about how your fear was conquered. Hopefully we see it soon.
They returned to the screen where Bell charged Ais who moved out of the way.
Argo: She's fast!
Ais: Stay alert and don't let your opponent get out of sight.
She then rushed in after dodging more strikes from Bell and striking him repeatedly. Bell was now on one knee.
Ais: Skill and strategy are important. You still lack something in both. Can you keep going?
Bell: Yeah, let's go again.
The boy was able to dodge one of her attacks and prepared to take advantage of it, but was caught off guard by another blow to the head.
*Thud*
They were at it for a while and the sun rise was soon visible. After another exchange, Ais realized she began to enjoy herself and smiled before accidentally knocking the boy out.
Tione: Ouch.
Alfia: *Sigh* It was only a matter of time.
Ais on screen remember Riveria saying that most men enjoyed lap pillows, so the girl decided to give it another try.
Zeus: The elf isn't wrong.
Hera: I want to disagree, but I can't. I've seen in plenty enough to know that it's true.
Riveria would have a smile on her face if Alfia wasn't staring her down. Back on screen, Bell had come to and immediately jumped out of her lap again making both Ais' sad.
Bell: W-Why did you give me a lap pillow?!
Ais: Did you not like it? I thought all men do?
Bell: N-No I did but- uh, it's just really embarrassing for me. Then again, Ican't say no if I'm unconscious.
Ais: So, you're fine with it as long as you're unconscious? *Glint*
Bell: M-Miss Ais, why do you have that strange glint in your eyes.
Ais: You're imagining it.
Bell: AAAAAAAAAAAHH!!!
The two went on with their training as many in the audience winced.
Welf: Oh man.
Finn: So, care to explain, Ais? *Amused grin*
Ais: I-I... *bowing* I'm sorry!!! I didn't want to hide this from you!!
She gave her apology, but was surprised when Riveria started laughing.
Riveria: *Laughing* No one here is mad at you. (Except maybe Bete and Lefiya). It's good you were able to make another friend.
Gareth: Too bad for Loki it was a boy, HA!!
Finn: Most of all, you were able to take it easier and give you body a proper break.
The girl was surprised at first, but then smiled at the three.
Ais: Thank you!
Aria: It was nice to see you having fun. You hardly ever did since we started watching.
Riveria: Don't worry, that boy and her friends help her break from her shell.
Albert: Hopefully that's the case.

They it was now in the dungeon, but they could hear the pain cry of a minotaur and saw Ottarl on screen.
Alfia: (Now what?)
Ottarl: No good. This won't be enough to satisfy her demand.
He turned whe he heard loud footsteps behind him and saw another minotaur with fresh blood in its axe.
Asterius: *widens eyes* (That's...)
Ottarl: You look like you have potential.
*ROOOOOAAAAAR*
Feena: What is that idiot doing?!
Crozzo: Get out of there!!!
Argo's group was shocked to see the man catch the weapon in his hand.
Ottarl: *Smile* Impressive, you were better than I expected.

Ottarl: *Grabs his other sword* Take this. Think you can handle it?
The monster growled and took the sword before it roared again.
Back in the audience...
Argo: Is that guy crazy?!
Orna: After all we suffered how can he just give that monster a weapon?!
Rolan: That man is just that strong. In their world, he is the strongest adventurer alive.
Feena: What?
Yuri: Was there anyone stronger?
Rolan: There were a few. Those two, Alfia and Zald, used to be stronger than him back when they were alive. Still, even those two don't compare to the Sword Hero.
Albert: What did I do?
Rolan: Even without a falna, you're still the most powerful mortal to ever live, at least, before the boy came.
Albert: Bell Cranel?
Rolan: Yes, he is fated to surpass you, as well as his legacy.
He eyed the group of children and Albert followed his gaze. Seeing they were his Grandchildren in some form, he felt a tinge of pride from seeing them. However, he was brought out of his thoughts when he felt an immense pressure fall on the room and a voice shout.
Hera: FREEEEEEEEYAAAAAA!!!!
Rewind a few minutes...
Bell and his family were watching the screen, but Bell and Lili had looks of disbelief on them.
Bell: T-That can't be...
Lili: Master Bell... do you think...
Hestia: Bell?
Hera: Wait, what happened with Bell?
Bell: It looks similar to it. There was still both horns and it wasn't red, but that's about all the differences it has.
Lili: So then...
The three turned to the Freya Familia to see Ottarl and Freya trembling in their seats.
Meteria: Son, you're scaring me!
Alfia: Speak, now!
Finn: That explains it.
Alfia: *Turning to him* What?! Just tell us!!
Finn: Bell Cranel fought that minotaur after Ottarl likely trained it. We saw the whole incident.
Meteria: WHAT?!
Ais: Yeah, Ottarl was there to stop us when we went to try and help him.
Zald: Really...
Lili: Lili had to find them for help and she did, but she blacked out after.
Riveria: It's true; I had to heal her when she came to us for help. The boy was busy fighting it all on his own.
Astraea: Wait, you mean Freya sent that monster after him? Isn't he only level 1 here?! And what of the other adventurers down there too?!
Rolan: They were either injured or died.
Alise: That's just wrong!!
Zeus: Wait, so she had him train that monster to fight you?
Bell: I... I think so.
The dam had broken and a Goddess lashed out in rage.
Hera: FREEEEEYAAAA!!!
That brings us to now where Hera walked to where her Familia was.
Hera: You dirty bitch!!! How dare you put my boy in danger like that!!!
Her executives wanted to jump to her defense, but Alfia was already next to Hera.
Alfia: *Glare* Just try it.
Freya was sweating in her seat, and soon Bell had joined along with Zeus and Zald.
Bell: Why would you do that?! A bunch of adventurers got hurt and/or died because of you!!
The Goddess tried to find an answer, but the level of intimidation was too great for her and she could only stare at Bell. That proved to be a fatal mistake as a realization hit the boy.
Bell: (Wait, she was after me, right? Why does her gaze feel different now that we're face to face?)
He took a step back which confused some of his friends.
Hestia: Bell, what's wrong?
Bell: Something isn't right here.
He closed his eyes and concentrated. After a bit, he eventually found the feeling coming from where Mia and her waitresses were sitting. In particular he was looking at Syr and soon his family followed his gaze.
Bell: Syr?
The girl jumped when he called her name and she started trembling too.
Zald: The girl who had a hand with Freya?
Bell: Something about the gaze from Goddess Freya here felt off. It wasn't the same as back then, but when I feel Miss Syr's, it's almost exactly the same.
Meteria: It is?
Hestia: That can't be!
Rolan: I'm afraid it is...
Syr: Please don't-
She was stopped when Mia placed a hand on her.
Mia: You reap what you sow.
The dwarf had a hard glare on her face while Syr's lost its color.
Finn: Please get on with it. I don't want to sound rude, but my thumb is throbbing badly right now.
Rolan: I expect no less from you. Now... *Turning to Syr* you can come clean now and tell them yourself, or I'll do it myself. Either way, this is your grave you dug for you and them.
Ryuu: What is he talking about?
Lunoire: Yeah, this is freaking me out.
The other waitresses began to get anxious, and Alise stepping in didn't help.
Alise: Wait, now I see it.
Astraea: What?
Alise: Her face. I remember it back during the dark age when we were fighting Evilus. She was there helping people who were hungry. How is it she still looks the same?
Ryuu: Syr?
The girl didn't notice it, but she had already begun shedding tears. She wiped them and moved away from her coworkers.
Syr: I hoped you'd never find out this way. Just know that I'm sorry.
In a flash of light both her and Freya suddenly swapped places. Now in front of them was the real Goddess, and the old one was a silver haired girl they hadn't seen before. Of course, this shocked everyone in the room.
Riveria: What?!
Bete: The hell is going on?!
Meteria: Wasn't she just over there?!
Rolan: Not exactly. You see, Syr wasn't who you thought she was all this time.
Freya: No, I will tell them. Syr was just a different person. The girl you knew was really me, and the Freya there is my child, Helun. We were able to change places with her magic. We share the exact same experiences as each other during it.
Rolan: It has it's flaws. For one, she girl can't replicate arcanum.

Rolan: The "Syr" you all knew was just Freya in disguise. That girl was never real.

All the waitresses and Bell's friends gasped at the truth.

The cat girl cried and looked at Freya.
Anya: YOU CAN'T BE HER!!! GIVE SYR NYA BACK TO US!!!
Lunoire: Anya *sad*
She hugged her friend and shook her head while the cat girl sobbed. After that, she and Chloe glared at the Goddess.
Bell: But, all the time we spent together. All those moments we had.
Rolan: That was just Freya. Everything that happened was to get closer to you and make you hers.
Alfia and Hera grew more furious by the second. Even Meteria and Zald couldn't contain their anger for the Goddess.
Astraea: *Angry* It didn't stop there, Freya. I already knew you had a habit of taking children, but this is something else. *Glares at her* Even putting innocent adventurers at risk wasn't enough either. You also had to lie to all these people. They thought they were Syr's friend and you had to pull the wool over their eyes. Tell me!!! Where do you draw the line?! How much is too much for you?!
Freya said nothing and could only hand her head down and sob. Taking a moment to reflect on her past, she realized everyone was right. There was no line the wouldn't cross and all this was more than enough proof.
Flare*
Everyone soon turned and saw the young Albert walking to Freya, except the pressure he exerted was unlike anything anyone had felt in their lives. The boy had a furious look on his face and his body was surrounded by fire and black wind.
Albert: (T-This feeling!! It's even worse than the dragon.)
Albert(Emb): You say we can't spoil the future, but you don't mind if we share ours.
He looked to the God.
Rolan: Be my guest.
Albert(Emb): *Angry* I'm honestly shocked you have even a shred of remorse right now. You don't even realize what you were going to not long in the future.
Bell: What happened?
The boy let out a dark chuckle which sat poorly with everyone in the room.
Albert(Emb): It's just great. You see, she eventually showed you her true self. How she was Freya rather than Syr. Eventually, she even tried to charm you. Thinking she was the most powerful God in the city and the greatest Goddess of Beauty, she didn't think it would fail. When it did...
He grit his teeth and the room grew hotter by the second as his fire grew.
Alise(Emb): When it failed, she didn't take it well at all. As it turns out, Goddess Freya is a sore loser and ended up charming most of Orario.
The entire room was in complete shock at that.
Bell: What?
Albert(Emb): *Breathes* Just as my sister said, that's what happened in our world. That event wasn't that far from when you all were taken either. Naturally, Dad wasn't affected but Freya didn't stop there. She had her Familia slowly brainwash him and make him think that his life with the Hestia Familia was all his imagination.
Freya was very quickly losing any hope to redeem herself as her enemies and their anger grew.
Hera: HEARTLESS WRETCH!!! I SHOULD SEND YOU TO HEAVEN MYSELF RIGHT NOW!!!
Alfia: *Dark look* Not before I make her suffer here.
Bell: All this time, I thought you were my friend. You were always so quick to support me in any way you could, but... was that just fake? Was our friendship just an illusion and theirs too?
He pointed to the waitress staff who were still crying. Freya herself continued to leak tears while not giving an answer. This made Bell's eye widen in horror.
Bell: Why?! Why won't you answer me?! After everything you've done with them, how can you just say nothing?!
Welf: She seriously didn't care about them?!
Mikoto: How unbefitting of a Goddess!!
Haruhime: You monster!!!
Artemis: Just the worst!
Ilia: How could you do that?!
Epimetheus: Despicable.
Lefiya: You don't deserve to be the top of Orario!!!
Loki: I shouldn't be surprised.
Tiona: BOOO!!! ROTTEN GODDESS!!!
Alise: That's just unforgivable!!!
Ryuu: I can't believed I considered you my friend!!!
Freya: I-
Ryuu: I wished you'd just left me in the alley to die!!!
Something in Freya broke there. She had a dead look in her eyes and went to sit with her Familia, but her members would not accept this slander of their Goddess. All the hurtful words everyone said was more than they could bear, even for Ottarl. The boaz had run out of patience.
Ottarl: *Grits teeth*
Flare*
The young Albert had a dark blue fire surround his right arm as her glared at the Freya Familia. Ottarl had even taken a step away from the boy until another pressure just as heavy made itself known in the room.
Masako: ALBERT!!!
The boy gave no indication that he herd him, but the ninja boy knew he was listening. He made the boy aware when he allowed some of his own arcanum to be free from his body.
Rolan: (Drats, I knew I forgot something.)
Masako: Dispel that magic!
Albert(Emb): ...
Masako: We never came here for that! You won't accomplish anything by killing them here!
Albert(Emb): Maybe, but it'll at least feel good.
Masako: Are you really willing to free them from their punishment?! Even considering they can just be brought back, it would be wiser to just let them be!
Albert(Emb): After what that bitch did and could do?
Masako: Just think clearly! I'd say it's better for her to live her entire existence like this!
Albert still didn't move.
Masako: Nothing changes with their deaths! Mr. Rolan is just going to bring them back. I'd say it's punishment enough to have her life crumble away in front of her, but I'd be lying. That monster in a Goddess' clothing deserves far worse.
Allen: THAT'S IT!!! I'VE HAD ENOUGH OF YOU!!! YOU'LL PAY FOR DISRESPECTING LADY FREYA!!!
The cat man prepared to charge at Masako. That proved to be a big mistake.
Masako: *Whisper* Amaterasu
Allen: GYAAAAAH!!!
The other Freya executives looked in shock and fear when Allen suddenly burst into black flames.
Masako: Oi...
They turned to him, sweating, and saw his right eye in a rainbow of colors while his hair shone, showing his activated arcanum once more.
Masako: *Staring* Step up if you're ready to die. Otherwise you'd better stay where you are and shut up. *Turns to Freya* It's sad. You've lived for millions of years, and spent hundreds in the lower world, yet you've never learned a thing about what real love is.
The boy finished his business with them and turned back to Albert.
Masako: Much as I hate to admit it, she deserves a fair chance to redeem herself. All you can do is hope that doesn't happen otherwise you'd end up being as bad as her.
Albert(Emb): Tch!
He dispelled his fire and went back to his seat and Masako joined him. Still feeling upset, Wendi offered him a seat next to her, to which he just rested his head on her breasts much to her embarrassment. Back with Freya, shebfelt her world crumble around her as Rolan had to heal Allen once the flames were put out.
Hera: I hope you realize why you're always going to be second fiddle.
Alfia: I see now that Bell is far too good for you.
Zeus: This is a poor showing for Orario's top Goddess.
Meteria: You better not come near my son ever again!!
Bell wasn't sure what to do now, but he was aware that he felt disgusted by everything that happened. He walked away with his family and paid no mind to Freya or her Familia anymore.
With Argo...
Argo: This is a Goddess? I thought they were supposed to be respectable beings of great power?
Crozzo: I guess not. She's as bad as that king.
Orna: I'd appreciate if you didn't start singing about this.
Ryulu: I wish not to spare any word to her or any of them.
Back with Bell, Wiene and some of the Xenos went to see how Bell was doing.
Lyd: You holding up ok, Bellchi?
Bell: *Sigh* I don't think so. I found out close friend of mine was never there to begin with. I can only imagine how sad and angry Miss Ryuu and the others must feel right now. It just hurts knowing it was all a lie.
Ray: Well if you need help, you know you can always lean on any of us.
Many others nodded and Bell managed a small smile.
Bell: Thank you, everyone.
Rolan forced everyone to take a small break before continuing. When they returned, the bitter feelings still lingered, but they kept quiet about it this time and decided to keep watching. Freya and her Familia were elsewhere with Mia watching over them. The executives were currently in the dining area waiting for Freya's cooking. Mia and she were in the kitchen and the dwarf was giving the Goddess very harsh cooking lessons.
Mia: IT'S BURNED!!! YOU'RE COOKING IN A BURNT PAN, YOU FUCKING DICK!!!
Freya was scrambling, trying to get anything positive from the dwarf as her torture began. Rolan had also made sure they would be revived should they die to any poisonous vapors.
Back in the theater on screen...
Bell and Lili were back in the dungeon.
Lili: So, how far are we going this time?
Bell: I don't know. Since we're taking tomorrow off, we should try to get as far as we can.
Lili: Thanks again for doing this.
Bell: It's fine. You still need a place to stay and this makes for good practice.
Lili: Not to pry, but we haven't fought anything yet, so why are you all beat up?
Bell: Uh... well I
*Crack*
Bell: *Grabs chest* Ugh!!
Lili and many in the audience sweat dropped at Bell trying to tough it out.
Ais: Sorry...
On screen...
They heard screeching around them as a horde of monsters began to approach them.
Bell: Get back, Lili!
Lili: On it!
Bell saw he was surrounded, but Lili offered support with her crossbow from afar causing them to back away. The group was dispersed enough for Bell to run ahead and start killing them. He made quick work with his knife and even managed to kick some away.
*Slash* *slash*
*poof*
Bell: (Stay alert and don't allow blind spots!)
In the audience, they were impressed by his moves.
Alfia: Fine, I will admit her training has done it's job.
Zald: I agree. You've improved very quickly there.
Bell: W-Well, she was a good teacher to me. I'm glad I had her and others to help me get stronger.
With Argo...
Argo: That was amazing!! He took out those monsters like it was nothing!!
Feena: I guess this falna is that useful. If only the gods had come sooner.
Back on screen...
Lili: Nice Master Bell!!
Their jobs wasn't done as the rest of the imps had joined forces with a new group of orcs.
Lili: Maybe we should regroup?
Bell: No.
An image of Ais flashed in his mind again.
Bell: (I'll never catch up to her if I run away from this. I want that more than anything!!!) HAAAAAAH!!!
He jumped to attack the group as the screen shifted.
Eina: (Control yourself. He got this far by doing that, so I mustn't hold him back completely.)
Back on screen, it changed back to Ottarl and the minotsur fighting. It swung at him over and over, but Ottarl easily batted it away each time. It roared again before charging at him with its horns. He was pinned to the wall before he broke a horn off and threw the sword back at it.
Ottarl: On you feet.
*ROAAAAAARR*
Argo: Damn, he's doing it like it's nothing.
Orna: It seems that's how much things have changed from our time.
Meanwhile with Bell, his family still had angry expressions just by looking at the training. Knowing what the monster was meant for made their insides turn. The screen changed again to show Ais and Bell training on the wall. Bell was trying his best to land a blow on Ais, but she never made it easy. After another kick to the face, the screen blacked for a moment before it showed Bell waking up on Ais' lap.
Bell: AAAAAAAHH!!!
The process repeated as Ais continuously knocked Bell out and put him on her lap. This made her nervous again as she felt Alfia stare at her.
Alfia: Care to explain yourself, girl?
Ais: *Shaking* I-I liked having him there. H-He said it was f-fine if he was unconscious so...
Alfia: *Sigh*
Finn: Yeah, I guess that's also Ais being Ais.
Meteria: It's really not that bad. They're getting work done and enjoying it.
Hera: *Sweatdrop*
Back on screen, he woke up again and rushed out of her lap.
Bell: I'm sorry, I fainted again!
Ais: Can I ask you something? Your quite strong; how did you get that way so quickly?
Bell: No, Idon'tI'm that strong!
Ais didn't look convinced, but he didn't want to outright say he wanted to get strong to be with her.
Bell: Alright, you see, I'm trying to catch up to someone and I'm willing to do almost anything to get there.
Aria: See sweetie? You don't have to worry about anything.
Ais watched with a blush hearing how devoted Bell was to winning her. If only at that time, it made her happy.
On screen...
Ais: I see. It's the same for me.
Suddenly, Ais began to yawn.
Ais: Now, we can begin our mapping training.
Bell: Napping?!
Ais: Yes. In the dungeon, you need to sleep in any surrounding when you have a chance to.
Bell: So... are you just tired?
Ais: This it training!!!
Bell: R-Right!!!
The girl laid down on the ground.
Ais: Come on.
Bell: O-Okay.
In the audience...
The other girls got jealous at the suggestion being made.
Zeus: Yes, so many things check out here: lap pillows, sleeping together. All that's missing is a kiss and-
Bonk*
Hera: That isn't happening!!
Zeus: Stop being such a party pooper! Those two are just a few steps away from being a happy couple and we get to see their early days. You should try to enjoy it more.
Hera: I plan to enjoy the wholesome moments, but I won't allow that girl to make any moves on our Bell!
Alfia: If she's smart, she won't try anything.
On screen...
Bell looked at Ais lying next to him and saw her out like a light.
Bell: *Sitting up* She's out?! Man, she good at just about everything.
Bell was admiring her sleeping face when a light shown to his right and a pink orb appeared speaking in Zeus' voice.
Pink: [What are you doing?! You have to be a man and steal a kiss while she's asleep!]
Bell: [G-Grandpa?!]
Pink: At times like this, it would be a crime not to. Just look at her; she practically asking for mouth to mouth from you.
It knocked Bell closer to her face and he stopped just barely from her lips.
In the audience...
Zeus: So close!!
Hermes: *snaps finger* Just a little more and he had her!!
Bell himself was steaming from his head.
Welf: Wow, didn't think you were like that.
Alfia: No doubt because of that idiot's influence. She turned and saw Hera choking the life out of Zeus and Hermes.
Lili: So you really were a playboy rabbit!
Hestia: What do you have to say for yourself?!
Bell: U-Uh...
With Ais...
The girl was already blushing at how close she was to kissing him and she didn't even know. Meanwhile in her head, she was stomping her feet at the boy stopping short.
Loki: That rabbit's gonna pay!!
Albert: Don't stop me, Aria!! He tried to steal a kiss from her!!
Aria: Dear...
She used her wind magic to hold him in place while he struggled to break out.
Bete was growling in jealousy at the balls the boy had and Lefiya had already passed out before the lips reached. Several other girls breathed a sigh of relief, though.
Haruhime: Goodness, that was close.
Ryuu: Safe.
Artemis: Whew!
Ilia: Better luck next time, princess.
On screen...
Just then, another light shown up and a blue orb appeared with Hestia's voice.
Blue: Don't do it!! You're a good boy that doesn't try attacking an innocent girl in her sleep!! If you kiss her in your sleep, I'll make you regret it!!
Welf: Why is Hestia the voice of reason?
Mikoto: That also has me confused.
Haruhime: Me too.
Hestia: Hey!!!
Pink: Hey, butt out! This is a job for a man!!
The two orbs swirled around his head as he had his mental crisis over what to do.
Zeus: Now, the moment of truth!
Hera: You better not do it!!
Loki: Stay where you are rabbit!!
The audience was barely in their seats as they watched what the boy would do. On screen, Bell inched closer and closer to her face and everyone was at the edge of their seats.
Zeus: (Come on!!)
Hermes: (Go, Bell!!!)
Ais: *Blushing*
On screen...
Ais: Wait...
Bell: GYAAAAAAH!!! *Backs away* I'm sorry. *Sigh* What am I doing right now?
The reactions were mixed in the audience. Many breathed a sigh in relief while many groaned in disappointment.
Zeus: NOOOOOOOO!!!
Albert wiped the sweat from his forehead and turned to see his daughter pouting with tears in her eyes.
Albert: *stone* (W-Why would you want him to kiss you like that?)
On screen, it was back in the dungeon and Ottarl had finally broken his sword while training.
Ottarl: So, is that enough for you?
The beast cried out again before its skin changed to become bright red. That, while unnecessary, was further proof of Freya's involvement. Now it showed Ais and Bell walking the streets of the city during the later part of the day.
In the audience...
Zeus: *Beaten up* See, they're even on a date now.
Meteria: *Breathes in then out* Lady Hera?
Hera: With gusto.
Zald: *Shaking his head*
On screen...
Bell: Where are we going now?
Ais: We're going to find something to eat. You're hungry, right?
Bell: I-I uh... *stomach growls* hehe.
Ais: It's fine because I'm rather hungry as well.
They stopped at a food stall and Ais ordered her food.
Ais: Two jagamarukun please.
Bell: *Sees the stall* Guh?!
Hestia: Welcome! Hm?!
Ais: Also with an extra order of the sweet bean cream.
The girl was looking between the two who were completely static with looks of shock on their faces.
Welf/Mikoto: 3... 2... 1.
The tiny goddess on screen flew into the boy and pressed her head against his.
Hestia: What in the world are you doing with her?! Why is it you always come back with another girl?! *Sobbing*
Bell: G-Goddess, please stop crying!! I'm sorry!! I'm sorry!!
The screen cut again to show the three talking in the back alley.
Hestia: So, you're only doing this for two more days?
Bell: *bowing* Yes, that's when she leaves with her Familia for their next mission. Does that work for you, Goddess?
Hestia: *Sigh* Fine.
Bell: Thank you very much.
Hestia: *Turns to Ais* Listen Wallenwhatever!! If you try anything in my Bell, I'll be putting a stop to the whole thing, okay?!
Ais: Okay.
Hestia: Don't flirt with him, tempt him or touch him! I'm not letting you have my Bell, you got that?! *Jumps onto Bell*
In the audience...
Welf: *groaning*
Mikoto: I'm always amazed at Sir Bell's mental discipline!
Haruhime: Mmm... *sad*
Zeus: Yes yes, very nice.
At this point, many began to feel sorry for the boy when Rolan reminded them he was still legally the only member of his Familia.
On screen...
Bell: Goddess!!
Hestia: EEEK!! I never said you could touch there!! *Throws him off*
Bell: Uff!!!
Ais: She cares about you a lot.
Bell: Yeah.
Hestia: Grr!! What did I just say about touching him?!!
The screen shot up into the night before blacking out and changing to show the mangled remains of a Soma Familia party. Canoe was backed against a wall and the red minotaur was walking towards him.
*GRRRROOOAAAAARR*
Canoe: What is this?! Why are you here?!
*stomp* *stomp*
He used the magic knife he stole from Lilo to attack and the minotaur cried in pain as the magic flames burned it. He thought he was safe, but then the flames died out and the monster was fine. His eyes widened as the weapon broke in front of him and the minotaur got closer before cutting the man down, killing him. The screen blacked out for a final time again and the episode came to a close.
Tiona: Sucks to be that guy.
Bete: He won't be missed.
Tiona: But now it's on!! I can't wait to see this next fight!!
Tione: I wouldn't mind watching again, right Ais?
Ais: *Nodding happily*
Aria: What happens?
Finn: The boy's next adventure. *Smiling*
Hera heard their conversation and wanted more answers from the boy.
Hera: Bell-
Bell: I'm fine and you can see I am. That happened a whule ago and I'm a lot stronger now.
Meteria: I still don't want to see you get hurt.
Zald: Meteria, struggling is part of our life. It's what helps us grow and your son is no different.
Zeus: He's right. We should be proud of how far he's going in such a short time.
The woman wasn't entirely convinced, but a smile from her son was able to calm her nerves, for now anyway.
With the Xenos...
Gros: What has him so excited?
He pointed to Asterius who hadn't stopped smiling since he saw the minotaur kill the guy.
Lyd: Who knows?
Rolan: (Alfia, I've kept them in the dining room. They won't be able to leave until Freya is able to serve them a dish that Mia approves of. After that, you will be up next.)
Alfia: *Smirking* (I understand.)
AN: So, I apologize in advance for this. I ended up having a few thing spring up out of nowhere and couldn't get this chapter out. I wanted to have it out yesterday, but life disagreed with me. Kinda like how Freya's Familia is in a place worse than hell.
