Some people, mainly Hera and Alfia, were concerned by what the god meant when he said that. A man's romance was clearly Zeus' territory so they were right to be nervous.
Zeus: *Heavily invested* So, you were saying something about a man's romance?
Rolan: Indeed. Peering into this should help everyone calm down.
Artemis: Why am I getting a bad feeling about this?
Rolan: You really shouldn't be.
Meteria(Legends): Who's romance exactly?
Rolan: Who else but Bell?
Bell: What did I do?!
Meteria: Please, just make this one fun and happy!
Rolan: Yes. Now, let's get started.
The screen turned on once more and in their view was the massive Olympus Manor where Zeus and Hera used to live.
Loki: That's!
Freya: Zeus and Hera's home.
Miach: What do they have to do with this?
Zeus: This is already interesting. Is this our past?
Rolan: Not exactly.
The view began zooming in and soon everyone was able to see a large crowd of people all outside the main gate.
Bell: There's so many of them!!
Hestia: *Memories of Vietnam* Y-Yeah...
Lili: What's this all about? Any ideas, Lady Hera?
Hera: Honestly, it could be just about anything.
On screen, it zoomed to show Zeus in his typical attire standing next to a tall and muscular man.
Silver: Looks like the Captain is still there.
Alfia(Legends): I don't like the smile that god has.
As they saw, Zeus was practically beaming while his Captain sweatdropped a bit.
Maxim: And you're sure this is a good idea?
Zeus: But of course!! Just look at them all out there! The turnout is magnificent!! See for yourself all the women looking to marry my boy!

Everyone: WHAT?!!
Hera: WHAT THE HELL IS HE SAYING?!
Rolan: It's quite simple. All the people outside are girls looking to marry Bell.

Loki: That huge crowd all to himself?!

She held a whip she got from somewhere and the old god ran away in fear.

The doors behind them opened and a woman with long white hair and red eyes came out.

Silver: *Shocked* That's how she grows up? That could be a problem.
Hestia: What? Why would that be? Aren't you happy?

He felt a hand on his shoulder and turned to see Albert crying with a thumbs-up.

Belko: Well, Dad and the others are looking for him too.

As Belko ran off, the screen shifted to where Bell was. As it turned out, he wasn't hiding at all. He had just overslept and they all saw him and Artemis still fast asleep in their bed.

Hestia: There too?!
Aisha: I don't see them wearing clothes either.
Meteria: WHAT?!
Hera: *Shocked* You mean they did it there as well?!
Zeus:
Bell and Artemis got very red once more. The fact that their own bodies still had their battle scars didn't help things for them either.
On screen...
The door was knocked on and that was starting to get the two to wake up. As they did, the audience saw Haruhime in her maid outfit walk inside.
Haruhime: Master Bell, it's time to get up. Today is an important-
She saw the boy's naked top and her eyes began to roll back as his collar bone came into view.
*Thud*
In the audience...
Aisha: *Shaking her head* We still have a lot of work to do with that...
Haruhime: I'm there too?
Rolan: Yes. It's part of your duty as one of the maids in that household.
Mikoto: At least that part hasn't changed for her. All diligent in her work for Sir Bell.
Haruhime: *Blushing* M-Mikoto!!
Hera: Why is she there?
Rolan: You and Zeus welcomed her after she came into your possession. With how quickly she grew on you, she was happily welcomed.
Hera: I should've expected as much. Well, I do like the girl.
Zeus: Of course. She is a fine addition to my boy's harem much like the crowd outside.
On screen...
As Bell and Artemis saw Haruhime pass out and scramble to get ready, the screen then shifted outside to see the commotion in the crowd just outside the gates. Woman of all ages were eagerly waiting to be admitted inside. Most excited to have the chance at marrying the albino.
Alfia: *Annoyed* Tch. Most of them aren't even worth the time.
Meteria: I'm sure most of them will be going home before dinner.
On screen...
First, the screen went to view some girls from the Loki Familia. There the audience saw Ais, Lefiya and Tiona in the crowd.
Lefiya: Why am I there?!
A few sent her questioning glances while the show went on.
Tiona: Finally! I've been waiting for this day!
Ais: You're pretty excited for this.
Tiona: Sure am! I finally get to make good on my promise with Argonaut!
Lefiya: You did look happy after he beat you in that mock duel.
Tiona: Well, yeah! I said I'd chase after him if he could beat me and he did! Plus he's a nice guy and a great friend! I mean, that's why you guys are here too, right?
The blonde blushed a bit and nodded.
Ais: *Blushing* Y-Yeah. I like him too.
Lefiya: I'm only here to make sure nothing happens to Miss Ais!
Tiona: Really, 'cause your blushing face says otherwise. Were you imagining something with Argonaut?
Lefiya: *Blushing* N-No!!
She tried to deny it, but everyone could tell the amazon didn't believe her.
Tiona: Same old Lefiya.
Lefiya: *Dying*
Tione: I'm just surprised rabbit boy managed to beat you there. You look the same as you do now.
Rolan: That's because she is. Everyone's age there and here is the same, give or take.
Meteria: That would mean Bell is still 14.
Rolan: Why do you act surprised? Bell is the same age here and engaged which is basically married.
Meteria: I guess I'm not one to talk, but I can't help but wish he would wait until he is just a little older.
Rolan: Love is mysterious. You can ask your other self that.
Meteria(Legends): He's not wrong. I was about that age when I had my daughter.
Hera: Well, all we have to do is make sure they don't get that far. At least, not right away.

Lefiya: It feels like a quarter of the city is crowded in front of the gates.

The elf felt herself bump into someone in the crowd. She went to help the woman up only for her and the other two with her to lock eyes with Riveria, who was trying to hide herself in a hooded cloak.
Lefiya: Lady Ri- mmph!
The high elf blocked her mouth before she could speak as both her cheeks and ears took on a deep red.
Tiona: Wow, I didn't expect to see you here. Hehe! Looks like you were going to marry Argonaut too.
Ais: You were?
Riveria couldn't say anything as they caught her red-handed. Her head just steamed while Gareth laughed loudly in the audience.
Gareth: HAHAHAHAHA!!! The old hag tried to hide herself in the crowd!!
Riveria felt her cheeks heat up. At the same time, Lefiya had a mortified look while Alicia looks about ready to pass out. Though, she also felt danger in the form of death glares being sent her way from where Bell's family was sitting.
On screen...
Riveria: *Blushing* Not a word about this. No one can ever find out.
As they talked amongst themselves, the screen moved to another group of women. This time, being Ryuu's Familia.
Alise: So, did they say when they'd let us in?
Kaguya: It's not their fault everyone came several hours early. You even said we should camp out here to be first in line.
Alise: Well, can you blame me? The guy is the perfect partner.
Ryuu: *Blushing* You could at least show a little shame. He's nearly ten years younger than you.
Alise: *Smiling* I was bothered by it for a little bit, but he told me himself that didn't bother him.
Kaguya: I think that was regarding you two as friends.
Alise: Details.
In the audience...
Astraea: I suppose that's no surprise.
Neze: Are you kidding? I never expected the Captain to get a man.
Noin: A man a lot younger than her too.
Alise felt herself blush a little bit at that but shook it off.
Alise: I'm only like four years older now since I've been brought back during my pristine youth.
Lyra: Yeah, aside from that, I wonder where Lady Astraea is?
Ryuu: Considering she probably fell in love with Bell too, she should be there.
Said goddess felt herself blush as she watched.

Alise: I thought Lady Astraea was coming too?
Ryuu: Since she is a goddess, she had to go to the other entrance where the goddesses are.
Kaguya: It's a good thing Bell already had Artemis so goddesses could aim for his hand as well.
Ryuu: *Nods* Yes. I don't wish to imagine Lady Astraea's sad face if she couldn't try for him as well.
Right as they talked about that, the screen moved over to where they were talking about. Sure enough, there was a much smaller group consisting of several dozen goddesses. A few were mingling about their fantasies of the boy, but there was a small bunch that was very serious about the matter.
Hestia: *Slapping her cheeks* Today's the day. You'll make Bell yours together with Artemis!
Astraea: Hestia!
The tiny goddess turned and saw her friend walking over to her.
Hestia: Hey, there you are, Astraea. I'm glad I have someone to take this with.
Astraea: *Blushing* All of us have been eager to this day. Even so, I can't help but be nervous.
Hestia: I get you. I'm pretty nervous too. Still, we have to push forward! For Bell!
In the audience...
Zeus: Yes! That's the attitude I like to see!
Welf: I'm still curious about what exactly the exams are. Is it like a paper test?
Lili: That would be too easy for them.
Alfia(Legends): If I know myself as our Familia, they would make this as hard as possible.
Silver: I'll be more surprised by not seeing certain things in a few moments.
On screen...
It moved once more and now was on another group of familiar faces.
Eina: *Looking in a hand mirror* (Oh gods, is my hair ok?! I hope this isn't too much make up! I don't really indulge in these kinds of things, so I'm not sure if it looks good! Oh, I hope Bell doesn't think it looks weird!)
In the audience...
Rose: That's certainly a new sight seeing Eina freak out about her appearance.
Eina: *Blushing* L-Like you would understand what I'm going through up there.
Misha: Not likely seeing as how she's not after rabbit boy.
On screen...
Rose: Eina.
Eina: Huh? Rose?
Rose: There you are. I've been looking everywhere for you.
Eina: I thought you said you weren't coming?
Rose: *Looking away* I-I changed my mind.
In the audience...
Misha: *Sweatdrop* I spoke too soon...
Rose: You shouldn't have spoken at all!!
Rehmer: Eina and Rose?! That's half our workforce gone to the rabbit!!
On screen...
The screen shifted several times, showing off the numerous number of women after the albino. At the same time, said albino in the audience wanted to sink into his seat as each woman nervously admitted to taking part in the exams. The minutes went by and soon the crowd was slowly welcomed inside. From there, they were leaded into large groups but split apart based on a number they were given on their way inside. There, a proctor met with them to give them their first test. The first group they saw was one composed of Alise, Cassandra, Tiona and... Freya?
Ottar: Lady Freya?
Hedin: It's surprising she took part. One would think they wouldn't allow her on the term that they don't like her.
Rolan: And pass up on the chance to make her suffer?
Hedin: Hm... you make a good point.
Freya: *Scared* (Please, show mercy!)
Proctor : Welcome, Ladies! This will be the first test. Keep in mind that absolutely everyone will be taking this the same way, so don't do wasting time thinking we're being unfair and giving different exams. Now, as for this first test, you'll be given a set of heavy armor to wear. Please, check to make sure it fits.
And so, each lady put on what appeared to be a very bulky set of armor that was given to them in a crate by one of the Hera Familia members. The pieces weren't spectacular by any means either. Just a solid gray color along with a hulking look that emphasized the weight they would have and boy did they have weight on them.
Proctor: So, how do they feel? Each set was selected with your strength in mind so now one is appearing to have an easier time compared to those who may be lower level.
As she said that, half the women there were barely able to get back on their feet. Meanwhile, Alise and the others just barely got up but the grimace on their faces told everyone very clearly just how heavy the armor was.
Alise: *Struggling* I-I can barely move in this... it's so heavy!
Proctor: Good. Now that you're up, run a lap around this manor.
Tiona: R-Run?!
Cassandra: I can- gh! Barely walk in this!
Freya: *On the ground* I can't even stand... Running is impossible...
Proctor: Oh, you better hope it's possible. You're all here for Young Master Bell's hand in marriage so a little jog like this shouldn't stop you. *Glint* Unless, our Young Master isn't worth the effort?
She gave them all a menacing glare. Though some were intimidated, those four focused on why they came here and were all on their feet and moving. Of course, they literally took this test one step at a time because the heavy armor wouldn't let them go faster than that. The audience watched uncomfortably as the group struggled to get around the manor. Of course, the Proctor generously gave them encouragement and they were able to speed up even a tiny bit.
Lili: *Scared* This is only the first test too.
Mikoto: I'm suddenly glad I see Sir Bell as just a friend.
With Loki...
Tione: Damn, that must be really heavy. You're not usually this slow.
They watched the amazon on screen struggle to get her lap done. The girl had a tired expression on her face as her physical capabilities were put to the test right out of the gates.
Tiona: *Sweating* I'm starting to get nervous about what comes after this.
Lefiya: And you aren't even the only one taking this either. Thank the gods we aren't carrying the same weight. I wouldn't last if that were the case.
Ais: Yeah.
Albert: Pah. They should've given my girl a free pass right next to that goddess.
Aria: As much as I wish for that, I think our Ais would prefer she earn her spot next to the boy. She is a hard worker and she has her own pride as a woman now that she realizes what's at stake.
Albert: Hm...
Back on screen, it took them nearly twenty minutes to complete the run. After they finished, a healer came to rejuvenate them and lead them all to the next spot. The audience saw that well over half the original number of participants were gone.
Raul: That many dropped out?!
Aki: You do remember what the first test was, right?
Bete: Just shows those guys weren't worth the effort.
Tiona: I wonder if any of us dropped out?
As it turned out, all of them made it in their groups. Now they were back together and talking about their experience.
Tiona: How did you guys do?
Lefiya: *In shock* I thought I was going to die a few times there.
Ais: It's over at least.
Riveria: Remember, we still have much to do beyond that first exam.
With Alise...
Alise: Good thing they were nice enough to heal us. I was definitely not moving after that lap.
Ryuu: Yeah...
Kaguya: I'm not surprised to see so few people gone. That felt like hell.
As they complained, another group of women came to join them. Those being Shakti, Ardee and Asfi.
Ardee: Hey guys, you ok?
Ryuu: I think we'll live.
Asfi: I almost didn't make it. I would rather do Lord Hermes' jobs than do that again.
Shakti: I can't believe I'm saying it, but I feel better remaining as Lord Ganesha's body guard for an entire week.
As each group grumbled, the proctors gathered together to give out the next set of instructions. They all would be split up yet again and now led to separate rooms in the main building. This time, we see Ais, Riveria, Demeter and Hestia.
Hestia: Of course Demeter is there.
Zeus: *Smiling* Yes. My boy could use more goddesses in his harem.
BAM*
Hera: Let's see what the next trial is.
On screen, this group along with several other girls was lead to a classroom of sorts and they sat down in a single desk. After that, their worst nightmare came through the doors. Coming inside was Alfia in an instructor outfit with mostly black along with black stockings and heels. In the audience, the women visibly shivered while Silver eyed the new look of his wife with great interest.
Silver: Where can we get one of those for you?
Alfia(Legends): *Blushing* I am not wearing that in public!!
Alfia: You shouldn't wear it at all!
Alfia(Legends): Only for him...
Alfia decided to leave it at that before more disgusting (to her) truths about their relationship were revealed.
On screen...
All the women in the classroom trembled seeing the terrifying member of Hera Familia and they knew very well how she was in regard to Bell. Everyone in the room collectively cursed their luck at having her as the next proctor.
Alfia: *Annoyed* Looks like all of you are here. We will move on to the next part of the exam.
In the audience, everyone noticed how visibly annoyed the woman looked and that made them nervous already.
Meteria: Sister, they didn't even do anything yet. You already look so fed up.
Rolan: That would be because of what happened earlier.
Bell: Was it something I did?
Rolan: No, well, not directly.
On screen...
It shifted a bit to show some time before the exams began. There they saw Alfia arguing with a smaller girl with silver hair and wearing similar looking clothing. Though, some could make out the red and silver eyes she possessed.
Alfia: I already said, no, Mira. You aren't going.
Mira: But why, Mom?
In the audience, everyone was shocked when they heard that leave the girl's mouth.
Hera: Mom?!
Alfia: *Surprised* I have a daughter?
Rolan: You certainly do and her name there is Mira.
Meteria: What are they arguing about?
Zeus: *Grinning* I think I know.
On screen...
Mira: Why can't I go too? I want to be with Bell.
*Ka-chink*
A door opened and a familiar face walked out.
Alfia: Silver, there you are. I need you to explain to our daughter why marrying Bell is out of the question.
Silver: Oh, so it's this.
In the audience...
Loki: WHAT?!
Riveria: Silence has a child of her own?!
With Bell...
Bell: Wait, if that's still my Dad then doesn't that mean-
Rolan: That girl is your half-sister. Both of you are close to the same age as well.
Silver: Huh. She's not half bad looking either. Must be from her mother.

The other Alfia hit him with a blush on her face while the others were surprised to see Bell have more siblings.
Gareth: Hehehe. Rabbit boy is so irresistible his own sisters want a piece of him.
Ais: I have to compete with them too?
Albert: *Head in his hands* What is wrong with that family?
Aria: I guess it's just another of the boy's charm?
On screen...
Mira: Mom says I can't take the exams with the others. She's being unfair.
Alfia: Mira, you and Bell are sibling, even if it's only half.
Mira: Why does that matter? You and Mama Meteria married Dad and you two are siblings.
Alfia: T-That's different! It's not like it was with each other and that's the step you're trying to take here.
Silver: Your mother has a point. There are going to be some people who might not like that.
Mira: Who cares?!
Alfia: Young Lady, I didn't raise you to act like a child! You're older than that to be throwing a tantrum.

And the girl stormed off in a rage while Alfia grimaced.

Hera: Not a word, Zeus.
Alfia(Legends): I'm really going to deal with that?
Meteria(Legends): Sister.
Alfia(Legends): I guess I'm not mother material after all. I can't even help my own daughter.
The original Alfia had the same amount of pain in her face. It was bad enough she abandoned Bell years ago, but seeing herself do something similar to her daughter, even if it was to stop her from doing something morally unacceptable to some, it still hurt.
With Loki...
Riveria: Now she knows what I had to deal with Ais.
Aria: Was it really that similar?
Riveria: It was in the way that I had to talk with her many times about going off to the Dungeon.
Gareth: Aye. That girl was a handful.
Finn: *Nodding* Mhm.
Riveria: Both of you can stop talking. I basically raised her myself.
Loki: And you wonder why we call you Mama.
Aria: Well, you did your best with what was available to you. I'm sorry for any trouble my daughter caused but still, thank you for raising her in our place.
Albert: Yes, thank you, Miss Riveria.
Riveria: Don't mention it. Speaking personally, I think Ais turned out fine.
She looked over to the girl and saw her talking with the others girls and acting just like how she should be instead of a ruthless monster slayer.

Argo: I'm still not seeing the problem here. Is it so bad that they're siblings?
Crozzo: I don't know how much room you have to talk considering you and Feena were...
Yuri: Still kind of weird how she still call you her brother.
Feena: *Blushing* Hey!!
Ryulu: I believe that's to save face. I don't see any of you admitting to marrying your sibling, even if they aren't related by blood.

THe half-elf girl slammed her hands to his mouth to stop him from saying anymore.

The screen showed Silver comforting Alfia before shifting back to Bell. He, Artemis, Haruhime and Belko were in a private room, away from everyone else.
Bell: How long do I have to hide here?
Belko: Until the exams are finished. We don't want a repeat of last year.
The screen flashed back to show Bell running away, terrified from the other women taking the exam. Alfia and the others had to step in and subdue them all before something happened to the albino. Every Bell, both in the audience and on screen, shivered seeing that.
Bell: *Memories of Vietnam* R-Right.
Belko: For now, I think you two should prepare yourselves. I can only imagine how many women will get past these exams and be on their way to marrying Bell too.
Haruhime: I wonder how many will pass? There were a lot of them outside this morning.
Artemis: Well, I've already consented to sharing Bell. We may as well welcome the rest of our sisters whenever they show up.
Haruhime: *Nodding* Mm.

Welf: Oh, so both of them already passed.
Rolan: You can understand why. Well, at least Haruhime's case.
Zeus: I believe so.

The door opened and two more people walked in. One was Mira and the other was another girl a bit younger. The had white hair and blue eyes and wore a basic one piece dress.
Bell: Mira? Lilia?
Lilia: Hey, bro.
In the audience...
Welf: Bro? He has another sister?
Bell: Lilia is another sister of mine?
Meteria(Legends): If I may, how many more babies of mine can I expect?
Rolan: Yes.
On screen...

She welcomed the younger girl and hugged her until she started feeling better. While they were killing time, the screen returned to Alfia's classroom.

Immediately, she pulled out a box of potato snacks and offered it to them. Ais' mouth watered at the sight, but the girl remembered the rule Alfia set on eating and resisted. However, another woman would humor her offer and took one.

Woman B: It's a delightful taste sensation-
Alfia: NO EATING IN MY CLASSROOM!!!
Just like the first, that woman was thrown out as well.
Alfia: *Dusting her hands* Now that that's out of the way, we'll move on to the next part. I'll be giving you these paper forms to fill out. Answer them to the best of your ability.
She handed one to each of them and it wasn't long before they were sweating nervously again.
Ais: (They want to know m hobbies?! But I don't know anything besides fighting and potato snacks!)
Demeter: (How I could support a family? Well, being specialized in farming has its advantages... what do you mean combat experience?! I don't fight!!)
Throughout this phase, the girls all questioned the point in this, but answered all their questions before time was up. Once it was, they were all rounded up once more and were split into pairs of two with a proctor supervising them. This time, the screen showed Meteria supervising Cassandra and Airmid.
In the audience...
Cassandra: Now it's me?
Miach: This has me curious. Now they want to split you up into two a group?
Naaza: There were still a lot of people left.
Hestia: Probably has to do with the next phase.
On screen...
Meteria: Alright, you two, we're at the next phase of this exam. For this part, you'll be taking turns telling what you like about my son.
Cassandra: *Blushing* Huh?!
Airmid: *Blushing* What?!
Meteria: *Smiling* You don't have to be scared. Nothing you say here will be leaked out. Unless you want to tell Bell yourselves.
In the audience...
Zald: A confession booth?
Zeus: I like it! Declare proudly why they love my boy!
Lili: Lili feels that would be too embarrassing.
Rolan: Well, if marriage is on the line, would you risk that over embarrassment?
They thought about it and figured it would be worth it in the long run to push ahead.
On screen...
Meteria: Alright now, don't be shy.
Cassandra: U-Um... B-Bell made me feel important to him.
Meteria: And I take it that's a good thing for you?
Cassandra: People didn't really take anything I said to them seriously. Neither did Bell at the start, but he was the first to really believe me. It makes me happy to know someone trusts what I say.
Bell: Is she talking about that first time we met after the Wargame?
Zeus: What happened then?
Daphne: Cassandra forgot her pillow and said she knew where it was in a dream. Naturally, we couldn't just waltz back into the home we were kicked out of but she insisted that it was there.
Bell: She told me where it was and I found it there.
Meteria: You wouldn't just believe her?
Daphne: Cassandra has always had weird dreams. I was pretty surprised to seem him take it even a little seriously. I guess Cassandra was always grateful to him for that. He never doubted her once.
The blue-haired girl nodded at that.
Lili: Master Bell has always been more trusting if a girl is involved.
The albino sighed since he couldn't argue against her on that point especially her.
On screen...
Meteria: Then what about you, Airmid. I'd like to know why one of Orario's more famous individuals is after my son.
Airmid: *Blushing* I-It's more about him taking responsibility for what he did.
Meteria: What did he do?
The silver-haired woman whispered into her ear and Meteria's eyes widened a bit.
In the audience...
Hestia: Bell, what is she talking about?
Rolan: Something that happened some time back between them.
Hera: Bell?
Bell: Hm? (Oh, that!)
His eyes widened and he felt his life was in danger if they found out. Hermes was also much the same while Airmid wished to take this secret to her grave.
On screen...
Meteria: Oh, I see. Well, I'll have a talk with him about that later.
Airmid: Other than that, he's just shown he's someone cares more for other people than you would expect. I mean, he asked me if I wanted to take a break after I finished doing a check up on him when he noticed I was feeling tired. Even after I fell asleep on accident, he didn't wake me up and let me rest.
Meteria: I raised my boy to be a caring soul.
Cassandra: W-Well, he's also a dependable body guard. In the Dungeon, he'll always do his best to make sure everyone is protected.
Airmid: He's also good in the kitchen.
The two went back and forth while Meteria smiled at them. Their initial tension had left them and now they were freely expressing their feelings. Of course, the two in the audience sank deeper into their seats and their hearts leaked out.
About an hour later...
Meteria: Alright, that should be plenty. You two can go and move on with the others.
They thanked the woman and left to join the other. When they did, everyone saw how the number had dramatically reduced.
Welf: What the?! Where'd they all go?
Rolan: Gone. Obviously, unsatisfactory answers would be met with being thrown out of the exams.
The other girls shivered wondering what would make that happen.
On screen...
Hera: You ladies have done much to make it this far. I am happy to say you've made it through a major part of this test. Now, you all will face your next challenge.
She turned and they all saw Mia walk in wearing her usual Hostess uniform and everyone gulped.
Mia: Alright, all you ladies get dressed and get to the kitchen with me. Since you've made it this far, bailing out ain't an option anymore. This is where the real fun starts.
Those who already knew Mia waddled there with trembling legs. The remaining women all consisted of faces everyone knew. Mia herself already knew what to expect so she wouldn't have to go easy on them. Once they wore their aprons, the filed to the massive kitchen and waited for Mia to give the next set of instructions.
Mia: I'm liking where this is going.
Anya: I'm scared, nya...
Lunoire: This is where the real hell starts.
On screen...
Mia: Now then, Lady Hera's given me the permission to lead this next part of the exam. Now, rather than seeing what you know how to make, I'll do you a favor and give you the recipe and you'll make it for me. You understand?
They all nodded and the women got to work.
5 seconds later...
Mia: Oi!! Sword Dumbass!! We just started so why is your section already on fire?!
Ais: *Scared* U-Uh...
*BONK*
Ais wouldn't be the only one having trouble.
Freya: Why can't we use more than what's listed here?
Mia: Listen here, you fucking cunt. Recipes are the way they are because of what's listed on them. Once you start adding different ingredient, they become a different dish, or in your case, shit! I don't give a fuck if you've got a thong sticking out of your ass crack! You'll cook whatever I tell you using what's listed, got it?!
The goddess nodded in fear as she knew Mia's eyes would be on her specifically. As time passed, people finished and had Mia taste test only for the food to be thrown in their faces and yelling at them to do it over. Although, some were able to get by.
Mia: Good. You three can sit there and look pretty while these idiots get their shite together.
The group of Eina, Demeter, Hestia and Riveria were the first to get a passing score from the dwarf. Though, the others would still have their fair share of troubles.
Mia: IT'S FUCKING RAW!!! THAT MEAT IS STILL MOVING!!!
She slapped Freya across the face with the slab of meat. Actually, she hit everyone with their food if it didn't meet her standards. It would take several hours before everyone was able to move on. When they did, half looked about ready to collapse.
In the audience...
Lyd: They all look like Fels with how skinny they are.
Fels: Hey!!
Wiene: Why do they look so tired?
Gros: They're being pushed to see if they are worthy of being with Bell. His family only wants the best quality to be with him.
Wiene: Oh! I see!
On screen...
After like 5 minutes of catching their breaths, they were all dragged outside. It was nearly sun down and all the other proctors were outside holding crates of adventuring gear. Then, the terrifying sight of Alfia came back into their view.
Alfia: Now that you're all here. We can move on to the final part of the exam. All of you versus me.
Many of them screamed in horror of having to fight her until they were silenced.
Alfia: Enough. You all knew this was going to happen. Now, get your gear on and meet me in the training field.
She left and the rest of the women nervously put on their armor. Even the goddesses geared up.
Hestia: This won't end well...
Astraea: My children worked hard all these years. With everyone here, surely we can match up to her.
Ais: I'm only Level 7.
Tiona: Same here.
Riveria: I myself am close to Level 8.
Shakti: I'm Level 6.
Alise: We're all Level 7.
Ryuu: *Depressed* Even if we have all these Level 7s, it still won't be enough. That woman will wipe the floor with us.
In the audience...
Loki: So, they're at least a level stronger than here?
Gareth: Against Alfia, an extra level won't add up to much. Plus, she looks. more powerful there.
Rolan: Because she is. Sadly, an army of Level 7s won't even slow her down.
That made all the women there sink their heads as they knew there was no chance at winning.
On screen...
After gearing up, they met Alfia at the training field. Against an army of several dozen, the audience still wondered if the balance was still so lopsided. After about 10 seconds, they would find out it definitely was. After that time, everyone was on the ground.
Alise: *Getting* Okay, that hurt.
Tiona: Right! Time for Round 2!
*BOOM thud*
The few who got up right away went at the woman again, only to be knocked back by her magic once more.
Ardee: This isn't working!
Daphne: We need another plan!
Tiona: Let's get her, from behind!!
*Whoosh*
Lefiya: Maybe we shouldn't announce our strategy out loud?!
*BOOM*
More of them were knocked back on the ground.
Riveria: Can we not just blindly attack her and-
Tiona: Rush her!!
Riveria: Damn it, Tiona!!
Nothing they tried worked. The frontline attackers were always repelled. Riveria and Lefiya's magic were no good either. Alfia was able to cancel them out. And the goddesses...
Hestia: MMMPH!!!
Freya: MMPPH!!
Astraea: HMMPH?!
Demeter: MMMPHHH!!!
All the other goddesses, which were quite a few of them, were tied up and dropped in front of Alfia.
Lili: Lady Alfia, please accept these humble offerings from us.
Tiona: In exchange, please allow us to move on from this.
The other women there knelt before her while the goddesses squirmed in their bonds.
Alfia: *Blank* Girls, you can't bargain me on this.
*BOOM*
All of them were blown away once again, including the bound goddesses.
In the audience...
Lili: I was almost certain offering Lady Hestia and the others as a sacrifice would work.
Mikoto: It was a good effort.
Hestia: NO IT WASN'T!!!
Bell: This is getting harder to watch.
Artemis: They're all getting knocked around!
Elpis: Woo!! You girls got this!!
Silver: They look like they're going to hit their limit soon. Well, the ones still conscious.
They watched and soon some of them didn't get back up. That pattern followed until all of them were stuck on the ground.
Alfia: Looks like they're all done.
She gestured the healers to come in and get them all on their feet.
Alfia: So, you all failed to defeat me.
Kaguya: Bullshit!! What were we going to do against a Level 9?!
Alfia: Win? Don't lose? Not be absolutely pathetic? The list goes on.
Kaguya: Grr...
Alfia: The fact remains you weren't able to defeat me. Still, I will acknowledge the effort you all have put in to make it this far. It is commendable.
That made them all look up and lose their faces of defeat.
Alfia: As such, I am willing to be lenient with you all.
Freya: *Hopeful* Then, you mean...
Alfia: *Nodding with a smile* Yes.
The women all looked to her with sparkling eyes, being thankful their perseverance had paid off.
Alfia: I'll have you all take up a strict training regime.
All of them: Eh?
Alfia: Why are you surprised? If you can't defeat me, you can't marry Bell. You all have more than proven your resolve, so we will do everything in our power to help by training you to be as powerful as me so you can be with him.
Eina: B-But what if we aren't adventurers?
The other non-combatants and goddesses nodded with her.
Alfia: Then you have lots of catching up to do. Not to worry because with our training plan, you should all be fit to marry Bell in no time.
In the audience...
Zeus: I was wondering why she was acting so nice. Typical of her.
Bell: I had a feeling it wouldn't be that easy. I hope they're going to be ok.
Welf: You should know better that it's not going to be like that.
On screen...
Alise: *Nervous* I-Is it too late to have second thoughts?
Alfia: *Smiling* Of course. If this is what it takes to make you back out, we'll have no choice but to beat you within an inch of your lives for thinking so low of Bell.
They all collectively gulped.
Alfia: Now, let's begin right away.
Astraea: Wait, it's already dark out!
Alfia: Training begins now!!
*Whack*
Lefiya: Ah!
Alfia: You weren't ready.
After she said that, the other proctors who were watching suddenly got up.
Proctor A: You all have a lot of work ahead of you.
Proctor B: Let's all work hard together!
She was smiling when she said that, but most of the women there lost all the color in their faces.
Alise: Hahaha!! Ah~ we're gonna fucking die.
The screen would black out after that and most of the girls were left feeling more than a little uncomfortable.
Rolan: So?
Loki: THAT BITCH IS CRAZY!!!
Zeus: I love it! Tell me, how many of them passed?
Rolan: What do you mean "how many?" They already did. Now is just a matter of how long it takes them to defeat her.
Ais: *Depressed* That won't happen...
Riveria: She'd chew us up and spit us out before long...
Tione: That just means the prize would be worth it. I'd go to hell and back for the Captain.
With Ryuu...
Ryuu: I'm glad I have that pass with her now.
Kaguya: I don't think it would amount to much.
Lyra: Your only protection from her would be not being in love with rabbit boy and we know how well that goes.
They looked to Astraea who shuffled awkwardly from their stares.
Astraea: G-Girls...
With Bell...
Bell: I just wish my family didn't go so far for me.
Rolan: Well, being the grandson of both of the gods there, it's only natural they treat you like prince.
Hera: Also, it would be the only way to handle this since I would expect you to have hundreds of suitresses after you once you came of age.
Zeus: Precisely. We should have these exams all the time.
WHACK*
Hera: I THINK NOT!!!
Silver: I'd say that's enough torturing the women here, though.
Bell: Yeah. Let's just get to the next one.
Rolan: If that's what you want. Unless you want to stretch your legs?
Welf: That sounds fine.
Rolan: Good. Then I'll prepare the arena once more.
Lili: What?
Rolan: To fight. What else would I mean?
Lili: *Kicking Welf* Why?! Why did you have to open your stupid mouth?!
As she assaulted him, Rolan opened another portal and out stepped another Bell. However, this once looked older and was very clearly in his stage as a fully grown adult. He wore a white toga with some gold linings near the edge of where it was wrapped along with a red waist belt. His arms had bracers on them and on his head was a gold laurel wreath. Though, the gods in the room were quite shocked. They knew divinity when they felt it.
Rolan: Welcome, Bell Cranel. So glad you could join us.
AN: And that ends this one. The story was just a small gag but one I found funny. Not entirely sure if I'll make a one-shot of it though. Still, hopefully you all found some enjoyment in it. Next chapter will be a treat to celebrate 3k stars but I'll leave that for next time.
