Percy POV

Percy stared down at the broken drakon bone sword with tears pricking the corner of his eyes. The celebration on Mt. Olympus was deafening to all, even to those inside the throne room, yet the young man managed to tune it out. They had won the war, yet to him, it felt like a colossal loss.

Himself and Annabeth had been captured shortly after the battle inside the Acropolis had begun, and their blood had been the catalyst that awakened Gaea. It was only because of teamwork and a little luck that Jason, Leo, and Piper managed to put the Earth Mother back to sleep.

The man bit down on his cheek, a distraction from the pain he felt failing his friend Leo. The son of Hephaestus had sacrificed himself in the end, and Percy despised the fact that he wasn't able to do anything to save him.

Percy frowned as he remembered Lord Hermes appearing shortly after the battle with an urgent missive. Polybotes had managed to make it through the Doors of Death before the seven managed to close them and had rallied the remainder of the Giant's army to attack Camp Half-Blood.

Despite their haggard appearance, the seven plus the gods' arrival immediately turned the tides of battle in the demigod's favor. Soon Percy found himself with his father, Poseidon, battling Polybotes. The sea god was the only one allowed to interfere in the battle since Polybotes was his antithesis.

The fight was intense, and a flurry of blows. Despite the father-son duo outclassing the giant in melee, Polybotes was still a giant created to oppose one of the big three. As such he wouldn't go down easily.

Percy held back tears as he remembered the mistake that cost him everything.

Polybotes had driven Poseidon off with a powerful sweep and Percy had tried to take advantage of the giant's overextension by slicing his shin. However, he underestimated the giant's speed and was too late in noticing the trident coming for him.

The son of the sea closed his eyes as he waited for death, yet it never came. Instead, he heard a loud crack and what sounded like the splintering of wood. Opening his eyes, his mouth fell agape in horror.

Annabeth had attempted to block the strike and parry it away. Her sword failed her however, and Polybotes trident had created a giant chip in the side, leaving a splintering of cracks throughout the drakon bone sword.

That wasn't what made time freeze for Percy though. No, what made Percy scream out in agony was the piece of bone that got chipped off. It had sliced Annabeth's neck open, nicking her jugular.

Riptide fell out of the man's hands as he caught his beloved before she could fall to the ground, and once safely there, his hands immediately worked to stop the blood loss. Praying desperately for the guidance of Asclepius and Apollo.

The son of the sea paid no attention to the goddess of wisdom joining the battle, nor did he notice his powers beginning to act out in response to his emotions. The hurricane he summoned around himself and Annabeth would puzzle mortal scientists for years. No mortal would ever be able to explain how the strongest hurricane seen by mankind appeared over the Long Island Sound, without warning, and almost instantly.

None of that mattered to Percy though, his focus was on closing the wound. The daughter of Athena tried to talk but only gargled as she began to drown in her own blood. The son of Poseidon screamed in frustration as he tried to manipulate blood as he had in Tartarus against Akhlys.

However, all he received was a sharp twist in his gut, as his body was out of energy. Realizing he would have to take another approach; Percy grabbed the flask of nectar and a bit of Ambrosia from his bag and began mixing it together into a paste that he spread over Annabeth's wound.

His hopes were crushed when he realized the concoction wasn't working fast enough. The blood was pooling too quickly in her throat for the food and drink of the gods to work.

Coming up with a desperate plan and idea, Percy shoved several squares of Ambrosia into his mouth and washed it down with the remaining quart of Nectar. He knew he would most certainly burn up from the amount of godly energy running through his veins, but it was worth it in his eyes if he could save her.

Immediately Percy felt his body begin to heat up like a volcano ready to burst, he felt a fire in his gut and a pain worse than Mt. Saint Helens. It didn't matter though as he focused his newfound energy and power on manipulating the blood in Annabeth's body.

He once again tried to recreate the power he used in Tartarus, only for his body to have a similar reaction before with zero results. This time, however, the pain in his gut was tenfold and felt worse than the River Styx. His scream of agony was heard throughout the battlefield.

Percy stared into his girlfriend's eyes, his heart breaking as he saw tears well in them. Wiping them away, he tried to reassure her the best he could but they both knew she was going to die. Tears spilled from his face as he held her in his lap, desperately running his fingers through her hair.

The daughter of Athena after another moment, and with great effort managed to clear enough blood from her mouth to whisper six words that only Percy was able to hear.

"I'll love you forever, Seaweed Brain."

Annabeth had accepted her fate after that, and Percy could only weep in misery as he watched the light leave her eyes, and her body go limp and lifeless.

The son of Poseidon couldn't move, the sound of battle long forgotten. He was in a world of nothing, yet at the same time, it felt like he was on fire. He heard nothing but the pounding of ocean waves like when they made contact with a beach during a storm.

He felt as though his world had ended, and nothing was left. His love was dead, and worse he was responsible. If he had just paid more attention and was more careful attacking Polybotes…

At the name 'Polybotes' a dam burst inside him. Suddenly he was no longer in the pitch-black nothing, instead, he was back on Half-Blood Hill, sitting in ankle-deep water. It felt like a long-dormant volcano finally erupted as he saw Polybotes push away Athena and parry his Father's Trident.

His rage began to consume him as he gently shut his girlfriend's eyes and willed the water to float her to Chiron for safety. The son of Poseidon would mourn later, for now, he would have his vengeance.

Percy whispered goodbye to his love as she floated away on the water. A goodbye that fell on deaf ears.

After which, the legendary demigod stared at Polybotes with a hatred so raw and so pure the giant felt it and turned his head. Meeting the demigod's gaze with a boom of laughter, kicking Poseidon into Zeus, sending the brothers tumbling.

"I take it I killed that blonde bitch? That's a shame, she would've made for a great whore and war prize. She was stubborn, but those are always more fun to brea-"

Polybotes didn't have a chance to finish his sentence before the demigod son of Poseidon was on him. Swinging Riptide with such ferocity and accuracy he could've been mistaken for Achilles. The only thing giving him away as not being the ancient hero was the ferocious Sea-green glow that surrounded him.

The demigods could only stare in awe, and the gods themselves in astonishment, as Percy singlehandedly pushed Polybotes on the back foot. The monster army being decimated by the storm fueled by Percy's pain and rage.

All the Ambrosia and Nectar had given the demigod an incredible power boost at the cost of burning his mortal soul. So much so that the eldest gods themselves were reminded of a younger Poseidon.

While in most cases the food and drink would have burned a mortal to ash already, because Percy had immediately used that power, he created a sort of barrier between his goldy half and mortal half. The energy was being consumed at a faster rate than what it took to burn his mortal half to dust, but the power boost was not infinite.

It wouldn't end up mattering though, as it wasn't long until Polybotes was littered in small cuts as Percy weaved in and out of the giant's defenses. The demigod felt a stinging sensation on his cheek as a droplet of water hit him and was reminded of Polybotes' special ability to turn water into poison.

A sadistic idea came to his mind as he came up with the best way to make the giant pay for his actions and words. Percy began to pool the poisonous water that formed after coming into contact with Polybotes body and built it up into a stockpile.

After it was at a decent size, he forced it into Polybotes's eyes, ears, nose, and throat. The giant tried to stop it, but couldn't, and all Percy could think about was making the giant feel what Annabeth felt and then some.

So, he began to turn the temperature of the poisonous water up till it was boiling, while keeping a portion of it on the giant's nose and mouth to keep him from breathing. Polybotes fell to his knees, dropping his weapon, as he began to claw at his face.

Percy knew the poisonous water didn't affect the giant, but he was positive the suffocation and burning hurt him. He doesn't know when, but after some time he decided the giant wasn't in enough pain and began to castrate Poseidon's antithesis.

The entire time Percy stared at the giant in hatred while Gaia's son begged for it to stop. It wasn't until several moments after he was through that he felt a hand on his shoulder and turned to see his father. It was enough to break him out of his stupor and take in his surroundings.

The battlefield was a mess, several trees were ripped out of the ground, there was water shin deep, and several of the campers and gods were staring at him in fear. He then turned back to Polybotes and let out a sob and gag at the same time.

The giant was unrecognizable, there was snot and ichor all over his face, and his eye sockets were burned out. Meanwhile, his body was littered with cuts on top of missing his cock and balls. Poseidon stared at his antithesis in slight pity before stabbing him with his Trident, turning the giant to dust once more.

Percy collapsed to his knees as he let his grief take him, feeling disgusted at what he had become. He let himself turn into the thing that Annabeth feared the most. He became a monster, worse than the one he was in Tartarus.

Sobs wracked his body for but a moment, as the legendary demigod reigned in his emotions. Once they were under control, he picked himself up with the help of his father and began to help honor the fallen, the time for grief was later.

He was robotic in his actions as he helped bring the bodies to the pyres that were being built. Not wishing for any of his brethren to endure such an emotional and demanding task.

Percy, a few volunteers from the last war, and a few gods brought bodies. The remaining campers and nature spirits built pyres for the fallen. Meanwhile, Athena wove beautiful shrouds herself for their mass funeral.

By nightfall, the last shrouds were those of Annabeth & Leo and only one had a body to burn. Percy felt a weird sense of Deja vu as Hephaestus himself lit his son's shroud, it eerily reminded him of Beckendorf's sacrifice and funeral.

'Another friend he had lost because he wasn't strong enough.'

The thought didn't strike a spark of determination inside him like it once did, instead, he just felt empty and lost. That feeling increased as he and Athena grabbed a torch and lit both ends of Annabeth's shroud at the same time.

Percy only found out that he was experiencing a combination of a dissociative mental break, PTSD, a traumatic brain injury, and survivors' guilt after the funerals.

His father had visited him, once word spread that he hadn't left cabin number three since retiring to it that night, and had an Atlantean therapist start seeing him thrice a week.

He grimaced in the throne room as he was brought out of his mental recap of the past two weeks. It was something his therapist recommended he start doing to heal, and that was to relive the tragedy.

It went against most mortal advice, but then again, he wasn't entirely mortal. His attention was directed back to the ceremony at hand as his father called his name.

"Perseus Jackson." Poseidon's voice boomed through the throne room.

The demigod's eyes roamed the council as he took in the gods and the remaining seven. Jason and Piper were positively glowing, and it didn't take a genius to realize they were now immortal. He was happy for them.

Frank and Hazel meanwhile looked content with each other, there was no more paranoia or hidden fear. Which meant that Frank most likely had his curse removed, and Hazel was allowed to stay in the land of the living.

For the first time in weeks, he felt content. Glad that his friends had gotten what they deserved, and that they were happy.

His eyes then moved to the gods; Aphrodite seemed to be torn between sobbing and celebration, her form almost a spitting image of Annabeth causing a pang in his heart. While Aphrodite was racked by another round of sobs.

Ares, Dionysus, and Hephaestus were sitting a little straighter in their chairs, their attention on him. Hermes and Apollo both gave him a smile and thumbs up while Artemis and Athena gave him a nod of respect.

His attention was then on Demeter and Hera who were the only two that seemed indifferent to the proceedings. While his father exuded an air of pride, happiness, and sympathy. Zeus exuded an air of dejected acceptance.

"Do any believe my son to be unworthy?" Poseidon's voice quieted the throne room, just as it did at the last award ceremony.

The son of the sea then kneeled in front of Zeus's throne, waiting for the King of the Gods to offer the reward Percy knew he would turn down.

"Perseus Jackson," Zeus spoke. "For your help in defeating the giants, the council once again offers you godhood. Do you accept?"

Percy couldn't help but wonder how the rest of the seven were reacting to hearing he had been offered godhood once before. Without missing a beat, the legendary demigod met Zeus's steely gaze with one of his own.

He knew that if he turned this down the council would view it as the biggest insult in its history, and he was unsure if his father would be able to protect him. Yet he couldn't find it in himself to care.

"I graciously decline your offer King Zeus, in its place I once again would request three wishes if it pleases the council."

The effect was immediate, storm clouds rolled into the throne room, and he could smell the ozone as Zeus's face was contorted into one of fury.

"YOU DARE!" He thundered.

As Zeus raised his bolt Poseidon called out.

"ENOUGH BROTHER!" There was an edge in Poseidon's voice and everyone in the room recognized what it meant.

If Zeus struck his son down, there would be war. Percy couldn't help but feel a bit of appreciation towards his father at his willingness to go to war for him so soon after the second Gigantomachy.

After a moment to compose himself the storm clouds receded and Zeus spoke again, there was still fury in his eyes, but it was subdued.

"Make your three wishes, boy. So long as they are within the council's power they shall be granted."

Percy nodded his head, but he was going to make sure they followed through with them this time, and he had to use something stronger than the River Styx. There was only one name he knew would fit that description from his studies with Annabeth.

Shoving the grief to the back of his mind at the thought of her, Percy once again stared Zeus in his eyes. He was unsure if the god would strike him down or not, or how the rest of the gods would react.

"Before we began, I would appreciate it if you swore on Chaos herself that you will do your best to uphold these wishes, as the Styx didn't seem to keep you to your word last time."

Again, the thunderclouds rolled back in, but this time he could feel the weight of several other gods' anger at his accusation.

Before anyone else could speak, Percy heard his father. Poseidon's voice staving the council from smiting him then and there.

"Son, please explain yourself. This is a serious accusation; on top of a very dangerous and powerful name you invoke."

This time, he met every god in the eyes as he spoke.

"When I was last here, I wished for three things, of which two were granted. Yet, no peaceful Titans were released from their prisons. Something I learned when Leo spoke of his journey to and from Ogygia."

At his statement, all the gods' gazes turned to Zeus. Who for his part, didn't back down.

"I was planning on doing it eventually, the boy never specified when."

Immediately the rest of the council let out an uproar, none more so than Artemis and Apollo. Which made sense considering their mother was one of the peaceful titans. With a sigh Zeus lowered his bolt, the storm clouds receding once again.

"Very well Perseus. I, Zeus, King of Olympus, swear on Chaos the Creator to uphold Perseus's three wishes to the best of my ability."

The room dropped at least ten degrees at the oath and the resounding lightning strike was deafening. The gods turned to Zeus who looked pale, and all quickly realized the bolt wasn't his doing and paled as well.

A flicker of doubt crossed Perseus's face believing he made a mistake invoking such a name, but when nothing else happened his features returned to normal. There were fates worse than death and he was positive Chaos could deliver, so with a breath he began his wishes.

"First, I want all peaceful Titans from the second Titanomachy and Gigantomachy to be given their freedom immediately, and any Titan that was peaceful during the second Titan war but took up arms in the second Giant war to be pardoned."

Zeus nodded at Hermes, who disappeared. The king of the gods then motioned for him to continue.

"My second wish is for Hades & Hestia to have seats on the council. They were vital in the past two wars and deserve to be rewarded."

With a grumble Zeus nodded his head while Poseidon slammed his trident on the ground, causing two thrones to rise. The one in between Hera and Demeter was somehow both regal and homey, giving off a comforting light.

The other, between Poseidon and Zeus, was also regal. But, instead of being inviting and comforting, it screamed despair and danger sucking in the light around it. Both Hades and Hestia gave nods of gratitude before sitting on their new thrones.

"My final wish is two parts."

Zeus looked slightly annoyed but motioned for him to continue.

"First, I would like for the Roman gods to also claim their children by 13 and for the gods' assistance in getting them to the Wolf House, this would have been a part of my wish years ago had I known of the Romans' existence."

Zeus transformed into Jupiter for a moment, giving a nod of acknowledgment and the demigod had faith the god would make sure the others followed through.

"The second part, I wish to join Annabeth in Elysium."

There was a cacophony of sounds at that statement, with numerous shouts of protest and cries of shock. He was touched by the sympathy that everyone was showing and stunned by the surprised and puzzled look on Zeus' face.

The look didn't last long however, and Percy could soon smell ozone as Zeus threw his Master Bolt towards him. The king of the gods realized he had to act fast before any objections could be made.

Percy closed his eyes and thought a small prayer to his father.

'I'm sorry Dad, but I am so tired of it all. Mom and Paul are better off without me bringing the risk of death to them every time I visit. Tell them I love them please.'

Then, the world was silent, yet at the same time, he felt no pain. Squinting his eyes open he was greeted with a blinding light, that giggled?

Taking a step back he realized he was still in the throne room and time was frozen. The blinding light was the Master Bolt frozen in front of him. Then he heard another giggle and looked behind the bolt to see a... thing?

It was the best way he could describe it, and when he spotted it, it giggled again before changing. What was once a weird blob of energy slowly began to take shape, until eventually, Percy was staring at a woman made of energy.

Her body was blue and looked to be made up of billions of galaxies and planets. Her hair was like a pink nebula, and she had no skin. With a start he realized her body was made up of billions of galaxies and planets, constantly moving about.

It giggled again, breaking Percy out of his stupor and allowing him to draw Riptide, getting in a defensive stance. He had a good idea of who this being was and judging by the pressure he felt, there wasn't anything he could do to stop it from doing what it wanted.

'Hello.'

The sudden voice in his mind shocked him so much that he nearly dropped his sword. Not sure what to do next, he just waved at the being, causing it to giggle again.

'I'm sorry for startling you, but this form of communication is so much more efficient. Just think what you want to say and I'll understand.'

Percy nodded his head before thinking. The voice was like a schoolgirl having fun, something he didn't expect the creator to sound like at all.

'You're Chaos, aren't you?'

The being giggled again, before replying in his mind.

'How perceptive, you are correct of course. I will say, you have some balls on you for conditioning a promise on my name. I had to do some research on who you are, and my oh my am I glad I did. You are absolutely delicious and if Order wasn't such a vindictive prick, I'd take you right here and now.'

The voice changed from schoolgirl to seductress, to a woman scorned, and Percy wasn't sure how to react. Especially considering the fact that he'd be raped if it wasn't for this supposed Order killing him... for being raped by Chaos. But he tried to not let his discomfort show.

'Oh sweety, it wouldn't be rape. It'd be subjugation but don't worry about that. I have a request for you before Order and I make another galaxy, cause you got me all riled up stud. You're the first in eons to say my name and it just has me feeling a certain type of way.'

Again, Percy was at a complete loss as to what was going on but went with it. He wasn't about to fight Chaos and miss out on being with Annabeth again. He was pretty sure Chaos could literally make him or anyone she wanted to just not exist.

'Correct again handsome, now before I can't resist myself.'

Suddenly Chaos was in front of him, and Percy was again confused as she went from being a seductive and excited voice in his head, to a more reserved and kind voice.

'I have this little pet project world called Westeros that was created after I got done playing on Earth. Order and I have been watching it as our entertainment like you mortals watch TV. Although we just watched them fight this war and at the end, I was so unsatisfied by the outcome.'

'So, I turned back the time there, and I want to send you to it and see how you change the events. In return for giving me some entertainment, I'll grant you any 3 wishes, no questions asked, based on your intent and not on the words you say.'

Percy considered this for a moment, he wasn't quite sure what type of wish he could/would grant.

Chaos giggled at that and was once again in his mind, with a seductive purr. 'Anything you want, baby, and Order can't stop it or retaliate against it.'

'So I could wish for Annabeth to come back to life?'

There was suddenly an explosion of pleasure in his mind that made his legs buckle, and after a moment he regained his bearings looking at Chaos's being in confusion.

'What was that?'

A sheepish, more reserved voice replied in his head this time.

'Sorry dear, the love you bring is just so damn hot, you remind me of Order when we were just starting out. Yes, I can bring Annabeth back and so much more. We can talk about that after though, do you accept?'

Well, he at least knew why she was so attracted to him. He did his best to not bring himself into an existential crisis by thinking about what was going on when Chaos and Order first started out. So, after another moment's thought, he thought back to Chaos.

'I accept.'

A squeal of excitement, and another explosion of pleasure in his mind later, left Percy feeling exhausted. The schoolgirl's voice returning to speak in his mind.

'I am so happy you said that, we have so much to do and prepare for! Hand me over Anaklusmos.'

Percy realized it wasn't a request and handed the sword to the creator and watched awestruck as his sword glowed a blinding light before transforming. Once the light died down, the creator still held Anaklusmos. He knew it was still his sword because he could feel the connection between it, himself, and the sea within.

Yet it looked completely different. The pommel of the sword was a pure blue sapphire that seemed to hold the ocean inside of it, the grip itself was a matte black leather, while the guard and the rest of the sword were a dark steel that seemed to hum with power.

The guard of the sword didn't change much, only now Anaklusmos was written in bronze along with the trident that was at the base of the blade. Overall, the sword looked beautiful as it always had, yet he couldn't help but be curious about the change.

Chaos's kind and motherly voice returned in his head.

'The sword is now made of chaotic steel, the strongest metal ever created, and can kill anything except for gods. There are only three items made with that metal on this planet, and I am sure you can guess what they are.'

The shock was obvious on Percy's face as he was handed back his weapon, one that was now made of the same material as the big three's symbols of power.

'Did the magical properties change? Anaklusmos will still always return to me, correct?'

He was thankful the same voice as before returned in his head instead of one of Chaos's other personalities.

'Yes, it will. However, instead of it just being a pen I have enchanted it to take the form of whatever you desire it to be.'

Curious, the demigod imagined his sword in the form of a wedding ring and thus a wedding ring appeared on his hand in the shape of an owl, with eyes that reminded him of his own. He then imagined it in a sheath and watched in fascination as a chaotic steel sheath, with a blue trident emblazoned on the side, attached to his hip before he willed it back into a ballpoint pen.

'Thank you, Chaos, you bless me with your generosity.'

The schoolgirl giggle returned and with it, the voice. Causing Percy to sigh in exhaustion, this was chaos... the irony of it hit him like a ton of bricks, causing him to mentally facepalm. The yelp of pain broke him out of his eureka moment.

'I am sorry my lady, I had no idea that would hurt you.'

Chaos's motherly voice returned. 'It is quite fine dear; I am glad you have figured out the reason for the constant shifts in attitude. I must hurry though as I have two more things to give you, and if I stay much longer this world will turn to ash as it is unable to hold my power for long.'

In Chaos's hand suddenly appeared a dagger, but not just any dagger. Percy could only gape, as the dagger Annabeth lost in Tartarus, was now in Chaos's hand. The only difference he noticed was the gray leather sheath it was in, with an owl embroidered on the side.

Choking back tears the demigod unconsciously hugged the creator, but only for a short second as he forgot who was in front of him. The schoolgirl returned with a giggle and Percy jumped back, an apology at the tip of his tongue but was stopped at the bulge now in Chaos's belly.

The seductive purr was back in his head. 'Uh oh, looks like we forgot to use protection. That's okay though, cause I love it when you have your way with me you stud.'

Percy was speechless and then horrified, as Chaos's being birthed an egg in front of him like it was nothing. He had a million thoughts running through his mind as he tried to comprehend what happened.

He simply hugged her; did that make her pregnant? What was he even the father of? Was he a father?

A new voice from Chaos broke him out of his breakdown. This one sounded normal and was just laughing hysterically in his mind. Right when Percy felt himself on the brink of a full mental breakdown, Chaos stopped her laughing.

When she spoke in his mind again though he could still feel her amusement.

'I am sorry, but that was funny for me. No, I did not get pregnant, that was just a fun way for me to give you your last gift. I won't spoil the surprise, but it is my way of saying thank you for not being boring.'

Percy carefully set the egg down beside him, unsure of what to do now. But, before he could think to ask, Chaos's motherly voice returned in his head.

'I am going to transport you to Westeros in exactly one hour. You have that long to say goodbye and handle any leftover affairs. I shall stop Zeus's little toy before it can do any harm... I know yours isn't little though.'

Percy blushed scarlet, at the seductive purr that reappeared itself one last time. Yet before he could even format a rebuttal, Chaos was gone and time resumed. Although instead of the Master Bolt hitting the spot he was standing before Chaos appeared, it fell to the ground. The weapon's energy and momentum, gone.

The shouts and cries that originally assaulted the son of Poseidon's ears when time first resumed were silenced as the Master Bolt fell. Everyone was confused as to what happened, and even more confused as to how he was now standing several feet away from where he was earlier.

The emerald egg beside him shook once, reminding Percy it wasn't a dream. His father's voice broke the silence that had enveloped the throne room.

"My son, what happened?"

The demigod turned towards his father and then took in the entire throne room. Realizing that everyone in attendance was staring at him with confusion clear as day on their faces. After a breath, he began his recap.

"I met Chaos, and she is going to send me to a place called Westeros. She said it was because I had the balls to invoke her name and she was bored. She then said if I did this for her, she would grant me three wishes."

"I accepted her offer, and she then gifted me with three items. After which she said I would be teleported to the place within one hour. Other than that, all I can really say is that she embodies Chaos."

A shudder ran through his body at the memory of his meeting with the creator. It was nothing like he expected a meeting with a being that powerful to go, then again, he never thought he'd meet a being that powerful.

Once he finished, the throne room was immediately filled with cries of disbelief, shock, and questions. Forcing Poseidon to slam his Trident on the ground for order, shaking the throne room with a mini earthquake in the process.

Zeus spoke this time. "Do you have any proof?"

Percy just pointed to the egg at his feet before willing Riptide to become a sword in his hand. The eldest gods immediately recognized the metal the weapon was made of, while the rest looked dumbfounded.

Zeus looked between his three brothers before they nodded their heads in unison, at first Percy thought he imagined it. Until Zeus then spoke bold and loudly that is, and for the first time in Percy's life, he actually thought Zeus sounded like a king.

"Perseus Jackson has met with Chaos herself and has been given a new purpose, he will be gone from our world in exactly fifty-two minutes. If you wish to say goodbye, now is the time."

Zeus then turned to look him in the eyes. "I wish you luck on your journey, Perseus."

Then with a strike of lightning, Zeus was gone. A majority of the council then left with him after either a nod goodbye or well wishes until only five gods remained behind. Before they had a chance to do anything though, Percy turned back to his friends.

Taking the time to wish them well on their new lives. It took all his willpower to not break down in sobs as he bid them goodbye, giving Chiron a hug so strong he was afraid he'd hurt the legendary trainer of heroes.

He knew the centaur had lost a daughter in Annabeth just as much as he had lost his other half. With the tearful goodbyes to his friends over they moved back so the remaining gods could say their piece.

Hades was first and he gripped his nephew's shoulder with a proud smile on his face.

"Thank you, nephew, for getting me an actual throne."

The lord of the underworld then handed him a pouch filled to the brim with precious metals and gems. Percy looked at it questioningly, but before he could ask, he felt a power fill him.

"That pouch is enchanted and filled with thousands of precious metals, gems, and unmarked gold coins. I am positive wherever you go, a monetary system will be in place. I also made you an ally of the underworld, and thus the shadows are your allies."

"I also wanted to confirm that Annabeth indeed made it to Elysium. I think we can consider my debt repaid, don't you?

Percy could only nod numbly at Hades' confirmation, overwhelmed by the gratitude the god of the underworld showed, even as he disappeared in a flurry of shadows. It wasn't until Hestia approached that he was finally broken out of his stupor.

"Thank you, nephew, I greatly appreciate you wishing for my throne back. I was hoping you would accept my blessing as thanks?"

Percy nodded his head, not wishing to turn down one of the few gods he truly liked and respected. Hestia smiled in relief and pulled the young demigod into a hug that he quickly melted into.

It was as though a huge weight had been lifted off his shoulders at that moment, and for the first time since Annabeth's death, he felt at peace. When the goddess stepped away there was a melancholy in her eyes.

"The pain and grief you feel is crushing you Perseus, please do not give up hope. With my blessing, you are able to summon home-cooked meals to wherever you are, and you will find that the flame of a hearth can never burn you. You are also able to inspire hope in others, so long as you have hope yourself."

Percy was awestruck at the gift the eldest Olympian had given him and pulled her into another hug. Words not being able to describe his thanks for the blessing or the hope she had instilled in him. As they separated once again, she smiled at him, already feeling his soul beginning to mend.

"You are most welcome nephew. Now, I don't want to take the rest of your limited time as there are others who wish to say their goodbyes as well. I wish you the best of luck in your new life."

Then the goddess was gone, vanished in a pillar of flames. Percy then turned his attention to the twin gods as they approached, feeling much better than he had in weeks thanks to Hestia's help. Apollo was the first one to speak.

"Hey there Perce, listen, so we both might have cursed all children of Poseidon with terrible archery skills after Orion. So, we came to fix that, right little sis?"

Percy laughed at the sun god's sheepishness; glad it wasn't his fault for being so bad at archery that they literally cleared the range at camp when he attempted to shoot a bow. The embarrassed Apollo turned to his sister who growled at her brother, muttering out, 'We're the same age.' before they both put a hand on his shoulder.

The son of Poseidon blinked in surprise as it felt like a whole new portion of his brain was unlocked, like a curtain had been pulled back. The twins laughed at his bewildered look.

"I'm pretty sure it worked sis, don't you agree?" At Apollo's words, Artemis nodded, a smile still on both their faces. "Afraid I must take my leave though; the autopilot is out on the chariot and the mortals will freak if the sun never rises."

With that, Apollo was gone in a flash of light and Perseus was left in confusion as Artemis still stood in front of him, a shy smile on her face. She then summoned a brilliant silver chain to her hand, and Percy caught a glimpse of a bow pendant on it before she motioned for him to open his palm.

As the moon goddess gave him the chain she spoke. "I had this made after you held the sky, for that was when I realized you weren't like most men. I am giving it to you now as my thanks for saving both myself and my hunters from when Gration attacked our camp in Delos."

Percy put the chain around his neck, praising the craftsmanship of the bow pendant. The maker, who he assumed to be Hephaestus, had gotten the metal to have a woodgrain-like look on the bow itself, and the string looked like an actual string yet silver.

Turning his attention back to Artemis he spoke. "Thank you milady, I am honored. Just as I was honored to help you send Gration back to Tartarus where he belongs."

The moon goddess smiled at his words. "Pull on the pendent Perseus."

After pulling on the pendent he was amazed to see a wooden sea-green bow appear in his hands. Looking behind him, he even noticed a silver quiver appear on his back. Turning his attention back to the bow, it looked as though the wooden grain was like waves lapping at the shore.

The demigod bowed in thanks for the gift and was shocked once again as the moon goddess embraced him in a hug. Hesitantly he returned it and after a few short moments, they broke away. Artemis looked him in the eyes, a faint blush on her cheeks.

"Don't die Perseus, should you fall. The world would be left with insufferable and idiotic men."

With the last words of encouragement, the moon goddess disappeared in a flash of silver. Which just left Poseidon and Percy as the only ones left in the throne room. Poseidon gave his son a sad smile as he gripped his shoulder before summoning a ring in the palm of his other hand.

Percy admired the ring, it was silver with a small sea-green gem encrusted at the top, and what looked to be a horse and an owl in a constant chase around it. He could make out the words 'Always and Forever.' in Greek around the band.

The demigod both carefully and gratefully put the ring on his ring finger, and with a shaky breath embraced his father in a hug.

"Thank you Dad. This means a lot."

Poseidon laughed at that. "I know it does, I had it made when I realized you and Annabeth would marry each other one day ya know? Then, when you two fell into Tartarus I had it enchanted, try twisting it."

Percy stepped back and looked at his father in confusion before twisting the ring. To his utter shock, he watched as metal from the ring snaked its way across his body like a river. Until he was covered in traditional Greek armor.

All of the armor was a bluish silver, and the chest piece had a trident emblazoned in the middle. He had on two nautical pauldrons that were connected to the chest piece and looked like the scales of a sea serpent with an owl emblazoned on each side.

He then took in his greaves and bracers which looked like they too had the scales of a sea serpent. Taking a glance in the mirror on Aphrodite's throne, he was happy to see that he didn't look like an idiot and instead looked like a badass, in his opinion that is. Overall, he felt protected and was shocked at how flexible and light the armor was.

His father's voice broke him out of his admiration. "It is made of Atlantean steel, forged by your brother and those he deemed worthy and skilled enough to work on something so important. The metal isn't as dense as others, and it's as strong as Celestial Bronze and Imperial Gold."

Thanking his father, Percy twisted the ring back and watched in fascination as the armor disappeared like a tide receding back into the ocean. After making sure he had everything else on him, he picked up his egg and felt nervous.

Suddenly, the thought of leaving everything behind and starting a new life scared him. Thankfully his father's firm grip on his shoulder brought him out of his thoughts, his voice strong and reassuring, like that of a king.

"I am proud of you my son; I know wherever you go you will make it a better place. Remember, the sea does not like to be restrained."

Percy smiled at his father, his nerves vanishing, and in its place, he felt anticipation. The demigod began to glow and realizing that he had moments left gave his father a task, one that he did not envy him for.

"Dad, please tell Mom I love her. That I am sorry I didn't get a chance to say goodbye in person. That I am forever grateful for the sacrifices she made for me and that I am happy she and Paul found such a good life together."

Poseidon smiled at his son, his form beginning to flicker as Chaos began to teleport the demigod to Westeros, wherever that may be.

"I'll tell her son; you have my word. I just hope she doesn't kill me for allowing you to go."

The last thing Percy heard was the booming cackle of his father as he laughed at his own joke. Feeling a small smile on his face as he began to move through space and time.
