"I'm on it!" Gwen said as she took the lead, flying forward with her goal of finding who was responsible for the attack. If the others could assist with helping civilians and reducing damage, the situation could resort quickly.

Little did Gwen know, she was about to experience the only weakness that she never, ever knew, and the person behind the horrific damage of nearly two city blocks and Grand Central Station itself is wearing it in his suit.

Gwen flew in close, trying to find the perpetrator. She could clearly hear some sort of strange noise which sounded like some sort of mini-aircraft system; maybe similar to a hovercraft by miniaturized compared to the big ones that are used. "Come on... where are you?", she said to herself as she was hearing the noise buzzing around almost like a fly.

"Think fast, Supergirl!", a voice cackled, laughing as Gwen suddenly saw a dark green suit, throwing a pumpkin-colored ball at her.

Gwen narrowed her eyes, and punched the ball, but it was a bomb of green gas explosion that actually threw her off across the room, coughing as she felt weakened somehow.

"What the...?", Gwen coughed as she was trying to recover from the attack. This... this felt so different than she ever had in her life up to this point. Somewhat similar to what she was when she was younger before her powers really started to come to.

She floated up into the sunshine of a window, and she felt better, stronger, and she narrowed her eyes as she now has a full sight of the villain.

It was a bit hard to describe the assailant in some ways. Obviously, he was wearing a green suit; the material was something she wasn't the most familiar with, but it seemed like some new version of overall body armor and like the next generation of Kevlar. He had wings which were mechanized and had large propeller fans, similar to those inside a jet engine. Then there was his face... or rather the mask that he wore.

It was like a weird fusion of a vulture beak, with eerie gold eyes, and a frozen smirk on the face, with big metal ears like a goblin.

The mechanized voice cackled, "See if you can stop me, Supergirl!", before turning and sweeping, throwing those pumpkin bomb balls, and releasing some sort of feather knives from inside the armor of his arms, creating more damage, causing more civilians to scream, duck for cover and run, as he flew into a hallway, and Gwen chased him, trying to stop the bombs from exploding over civilians, deflecting the feather knives, but somehow, she got cuts and kept breathing in the green gas when she tries not to.

Gwen seriously had no idea what was going on. What exactly was happening that was causing her to feel so much weaker and feel some serious pain from what he was sending her way? If she was able to stop this psycho, first thing she was going to do was hopefully get in touch with Genie or someone who might know what is going on. Gwen dodged another wave of attacks, trying to make sure not let him keep hitting her with whatever that gas was since that was the start of her issues.

Elsewhere, Jean can feel Gwen's mind getting confused, hurt, and weak, and she shouted to Peter, "Go check on Supergirl, Spiderman! I and Shadow Claw will keep helping to get the civilians out!", as they are trying to pull the civilians from the nearest hallways near the front doors.

"Shit...", Peter cursed to himself. If Jean was saying that Gwen needed to be checked on, then something was seriously wrong. "Okay, I'm going!", he said as he moved to get himself out and head to where Gwen was.

Peter swung fast, leaping and parkouring, following the sounds of explosions and cackling and Gwen's shouts and civilians screaming, and saw Gwen trying to get the remaining civilians out while avoiding some sort of bombs that is having green gas and feather knives, and saw the Green Vulture Goblin villain throwing those bombs and feather knives everywhere in sight, causing more damage.

He swung, shouting, "Hey, Beakface!", his feet perfectly position to give a double foot kick in the face, and the villain shouted as he felt the power behind the kick, but luckily, his mask is strong, stronger than the Rhino's metal suit.

Peter was honestly amazed his feet didn't shatter on impact with how hard that thing was... and yet whomever was inside it seemed like he didn't feel very encumbered by the weight, "Damn, hardheaded too... guess that's par for the course with freaks like you.".

The villain spat out, "Spiderman! You are pathetic!", instinctively adjusting his arms to shoot his feather knives at him, but Peter luckily dodged them all, thanks to his Spider Sense, and shot webs at his eyes, wrapping his body around in all five seconds, but he didn't expect the Goblin's wings to be automatic as well as they jabbed all at once at Peter, and his Spider Sense warned him too late as the wings slapped him away really hard, causing him to crash into a pillar.

Gwen shouted in horror, "Spiderman!", as the Goblin flew deeper into the terminal hallway, flying to Peter, as the last of the nearest civilians of the terminal got out. Peter groaned, feeling several of his ribs almost bruised, his back aching so bad, and he glanced at Gwen, "Damn, he's strong like you.".

"We need the others! There are still more people down there in the terminal, and we have to stop him somehow without those bombs touching me or his wings to catch you again!", Gwen replied, and Peter nodded, "Right!", mentally calling Jean.

"Damn it all...", Jean cursed as she heard Peter's message. "What's wrong?", Jasmine asked.

"That monster is heading into the tunnels... my guess is he's probably looking for more people to harm. Spiderman and Supergirl are going after him, we need to catch up with them!", Jean called back.

Jasmine nodded, looking around, and replied, "That's everybody we can get for now!", as they were checking the other terminals and guiding the people out the front doors with the help of cops and all, "Let's go!", leaping into Jean's back as Jean hovered and flew with her magic cape, and headed fast into the direction of the others.

"How is it this guy is able to hold them off?", Jasmine asked as Jean shook her head. "I don't know... he's using some sort of gas... messing up Supergirl, according to her...", Jean bit her lip.

This was certainly bad, nothing they had truly ever encountered before. The rhino suit was one thing... but this... Granted, the rhino bad guys were defeated by Peter and Jasmine, but this, this would take all of them.

Jasmine replied, "There must be a source that he's doing this! I mean, I ripped the controls off that rhino suit!", and Jean nodded, "You're right. Maybe with all of us to distract him, he would get confused and befuddled while one of us need to get close without alerting him.".

"I hope you're right if what you're saying is true.", Jasmine said as the two of them soon reached the subway tunnels. "Total maze down here... especially if he tries to flee through the older, abandoned ones.", Jean glanced around.

Jasmine sniffed the air, glad that her tiger senses are helping her out, "Supergirl and Spiderman went that way!", pointing to one of the subway tunnels, and Jean nodded, "Hold on!", hovering and flying fast, soon hearing the cackling laughter, among the voices of Gwen and Peter, sounding like they're in battle against the villain, with the faint explosions of bombs flying and detonating.

"He's causing explosions down here? He'll bring down the tunnels at this rate! If he hits one place...", Jasmine feared. "If he hits one of the areas underneath the Hudson... say goodbye to New York transit for starters... never mind the massive loss of life...", Jean growled as she tried to get them to move faster to join the fight.

They got into a wide area of three subway/train pickup grounds, and saw the villain, and Jean narrowed her eyes, and Jasmine jumped into one of the hanging lights, "Go, Solaris, help the others.", before swinging the light, and jumped into the next hanging light.

Jean nodded, telepathically grabbing people's luggage, hating to technically steal a piece of a person's belongings, but she needed them, and telepathically threw the heavy luggage at the grotesque villain while he was fighting Peter.

Above them, Jasmine kept leaping and swinging the hanging lights, until she was right center above the villain as he was caught off guard by the luggage hitting him in the wings and face, slashing at every fabric in sight and throwing more bombs in blind rampage, and Jasmine went to swing the light she was on, back and forward a few times. Slam!

The hanging light hit him in the back, causing him to crash into a pillar, and Peter laughed, "Brilliant move, Shadow Claw!", and then a roar of engines flared up, and they looked over to see the Goblin still up, his suit mostly intact, with his motorized wings fizzling but still working, with the center of the suit glowing green.

"Bitch! I'll kill you for that!", the Goblin screamed in rage, throwing bombs at Jasmine and Peter, but Jasmine jumped, grabbing Peter's hand as he swung, and the Goblin was then slammed by a piece of concrete by Jean as the bombs landed around an occupied train of terrified civilians, destroying the rails, a couple of pillars.

Most of the people in the surroundings had been killed, injured, or ducking into the terminals for safety, but some of the trains became locked on themselves, and two of the subway trains are luckily empty, but the one that is occupied, got trapped, huddling down, watching the battle, screaming as the bombs landed.

Gwen gasped in horror as she saw cracks in the ground under the train, and went to grab the train, weakened and injured, but determined to save the people, widening her eyes as she can't keep it much longer as the cracks increased, screaming, "Spiderman, help!", knowing that his webs should help hold the train, and then she heard something horrifying.

She saw the top of the ceilings cracking, thanks to the damaged pillars and such in the Grand Central Station, and the bombs weren't helping matters either as the Goblin is fighting Jean and Jasmine.

"Shit! This place is about to come down!", Gwen shouted as Peter tried to move fast to assist her. "Please, I need help!", she was practically screaming as the cracking sound occurred again.

Peter strained, using his webs to hold the train, and looked at the scared, terrified, and pale faces of the people; men, women, and even children in the train cars before widening his eyes as he recognized Jean's father in the crowd, almost ignoring J.J. Jameson in the crowd, and mentally screamed at Jean, 'Jean, rip that monster's suit! Do it for your dad! He's in the train!'.

Jean's heart nearly stopped when she heard that thought. That was probably the worst information she could know but... if anything, it certainly gave her the incentive as she was trying to push her abilities to their limits.

Jean heard Professor Xavier's voice, 'Peter's right! Use your psychic powers! Imagine the green gem to crush into dust, and start unfolding the suit armor out from under, ripping it out from him!', as the professor is using Cerebro at the moment.

Jean took a deep breath, able to buy a second or so to do it in the middle of the fight as she used her mind to reach out to the suit, practically able to feel the gem in her hands as she squeezed tight like she was trying to crush it in her fingers before the sound of it cracking echoed through the tunnels. She pushed a bit further and suddenly the gem exploded; suddenly causing a loss of power in the psycho's suit.

The Goblin screamed in shock and pain, "What did you do?!", and Jean replied sharply, "Making sure you won't hurt anyone again!", before using her mind and her hands to rip the suit out, and the Goblin shouted repeatedly, "No, no, no!", as his armor, his wings, his weapons were ripped away, revealing a wild-eyed, messy-haired Norman Osborn.

Jasmine widened her eyes in shock before roaring in anger as Norman laid harm on Skyler for two years through his scientists, and now he killed hundreds of people, for what? For fear and power?!

She shifted into her tigress form, and tackled Norman as he fell, bruising his body as they crashed into the ground, with Jasmine snarling at him, and Norman naturally screamed before fainting, and Jasmine snorted in disgust and annoyance as she jumped off him, shifting back into her tiger lady form.

"Pathetic.", she spat before she heard Gwen and Peter's screams, "We can't hold it any longer! Help! Run, Shadow! The place's going to collapse!", and Jasmine snarled, grabbing Norman's body over her shoulder, and ran, as Jean went to focus on creating a psychic shield around the train and the others, as the ground finally collapsed underneath them, with the whole place coming down from above, with Jasmine jumping and holding on into the back railing of one of the cars, with Peter sticking on the roof of one of the cars of the train, "Hold on!", creating webs to secure the cars, and with Gwen trying to keep the train level with her weakened levels of strength.

"Come on... come on...", Gwen whispered to herself as she was trying to push whatever she had left in her to hopefully save everyone.

The collapsing building was coming fast, filling the huge hole as the train escaped, with the people holding on so tightly, screaming, as the collapse of the underground kept breaking open with the whole weight of the supports giving out, and it felt like forever to everyone but yet it was only five minutes when Jean moved the train to the side of an old underground tunnel, with the hole filled up with supports, pillars, dirt, tracks, and all, blocking one way out on one side.

Jean then collapsed, panting as she released the psychic shield, with Gwen panting as she barely got out from under the train, with Peter sitting back on the rooftop of one car of the train in exhaustion from straining his webs and all, and Jasmine panted shakily as her knuckles were strained on holding on the back railing of the car she was on, sweat soaking her fur, unknowingly that one of her water bags has broken, starting labor, yet adrenaline is still running through her.

She glanced at the unconscious body of Norman Osborn, and growled lowly, "Anybody has cuffs for this bastard?", knowing that the courts would be happy for the criminal behind the horrible ordeal today. "Does webs count?", Peter asked as Jasmine nodded.

"That'll do...", Jasmine sighed as Peter went to make sure he was quickly restrained, "Guess it certainly explains where he got that suit and everything...".

Gwen headed to help Jean up, "You okay, Solaris?", and Jean nodded, "Yeah, just tired...I'll perk up soon enough...Professor was right...I think I got a new power level...".

"That's awesome. Definitely need to practice there, but for now, let's get the people out of the train, and find a way out as that way is blocked, and I'm barely keeping up for now...", Gwen groaned lightly as her outfit was definitely showing tears and all, barely worse than Peter's outfit.

"You think you can hang on long enough until we find some sunshine, Supergirl?", Jean asked in concern, and Gwen nodded, "Yeah. I'm not helpless, just exhausted and weak, and I will take some time to feel better as that gas was really throwing me off my game.".

Jean nodded, and Peter went to open the doors of the cars by force, freeing the people, seeing that they successfully saved over 50 people, and Jasmine slapped Norman's face to wake him up, "Don't say anything. You're under unofficial arrest, and we'll take you to the cops as soon as we find a way out.".

Norman shrunk under the scary glare of Shadow Claw, and nodded, and Jasmine got him up, dragging him by the web cuffs and web rope. Peter called out to the crowd, "Everyone, I know all of you are scared and probably shocked, but we have to keep going, to find a way out as that one way is blocked by the collapse of the Grand Central Station...God bless the souls, and I'm sure everyone of all the police, ambulances, and such is finding a way to free survivors and all. And for us, please comply with us as we will make sure all of you are alright. Any of you doctors, paramedics?".

There were a few hands raised. Obviously, Jean's dad, being a paramedic, was going to raise his. "Alright, that's good.", Peter nodded. "Anyone with some service in military or law enforcement? It will be better if we wouldn't have to worry about our prisoner.", Peter glanced back to Norman. "The fewer distractions, the better for all of us.".

A few hands raised up, and Jasmine took Norman to the nearest veteran's hands, "Sir, thank you for your service. Watch him for us, keep a circle around him if you must.".

The veteran smiled warmly yet seriously, "It shall be done, Miss Shadow Claw, and may I say, that was an ingenious thing back there with the hanging light.".
