The camera fades into Pahkanakwa island as Chris recaps the last episode –

""Last time on Total Drama, Pahkanakwa Island, tensions were high as the teams faced off in a challenging maze to win a grand dinner and relaxing hot tub reward. Both teams had some problems, as Bryce got covered in glue, and Daniel got stuck in a spider web! In the end, the Pahkitew Parrots won the reward, and Bryce and Neo bonded, but now, the tensions are sure to heat up in the camper's next challenge, who will leave the camp tonight? Find out on this episode of Total Drama, PAHKANAKWA ISLAND!"

Intro plays~~

The camera fades into the girls side of the Parrots cabin, where Jade and Madison sit on opposite sides of the room from each other, Jade smirks devilishly as Madison leers in the corner.

"Looks like you've thrown your faulty fitness routine out the window, huh? Beginning to pack on the pounds again?"

Madison grits her teeth, "You think you're so funny, but once everyone knows how bitter you are, you'll be voted off!"

"Sure I will." Jade says sarcastically.

The camera rotates over to the boy's side, where the twins are finishing a box of macarons they stole from last night's dinner. Neo lurks by the mirror while Bryce sits on the bottom bunk bed reading a book.

Zack and Jack swallow the last of the food and smiles, "Hey Brycey boy, we saved you a little something to!"

Bryce glowers at the twins, "Firstly, don't call me that, secondly, thank you very much for the gift, now what is it?"

Jack tosses Bryce a stick of glue. "Figured you might want some."

Bryce merely scowls deeper and chucks the glue stick at Jack's face. "Ditto!"

"Ahh, owwwww!"

Bryce snaps his book shut. "Very funny, boys, now if you don't mind, I'm going to make like a tree, and leave."

Bryce walks out the door.

Confessional: Bryce ~~

* Sighs * "Whatever it may be, I ALWAYS take crap from it. Especially at school, because my dad is the history teacher at the high school I go to, so whenever some punk bombs a test on the French and Indian war, I'M the one who gets beat up….. figures."

End of Confessional: ~~

Over on the Wawanakwa Whales, the duo of Mark and Sally are sitting in the woods.

"It's nice to be next to someone who actually listens to what I say…" Sally says cheerfully.

"Really? Well I think you're much prettier when you're happy so I guess that's a win for us both." Mark smiles.

Sally ignores the unintentional backhanded compliment and looks at a raging river in front of the log they're sitting on.

"What side of the island are we on? Because I hope we're on Wawanakwa, otherwise this river would be fake…." Mark asks.

"Beats me, but either way, It's gorgeous." Sally replies.

"Hey, you think we'll win the challenge?"

"I don't think, I know…"

"Right, right…. Just wanted to know what you thought…."

Inside the Whale's cabin, Daniel puts his locket in his pocket, hiding it from view.

Confessional: Daniel ~~

"Step one is done, step two requires members from the enemy team, so It will have to wait, but for now, our "alliance" will target Sally, and then Poor Mark will be next."

End of Confessional: ~~

The camera shifts to the mess hall, where the campers from both teams gather for breakfast. The tension in the air is palpable, and everyone seems to be on edge after the previous night's events.

Confessional: Neo ~~

"Last night, I bonded with Bryce, but I can't shake this feeling of dread. I don't know if I can trust him or anyone else on this island. My nightmares are getting worse, and I feel like I'm losing control. I need to find a way to keep it together and focus on the game."

End of Confessional: ~~

On opposite ends of the table, Jade leers at Madison, who promptly blanks her out. Jade scans her face for any sigh of attention, but when she realizes that Madison is clearly focused on something else, Jade shrinks back slightly, clearly disappointed.

Confessional: Jade ~~

"Seriously? Not even a black look? I can't believe this, it's like she's losing interest in me!"

End of Confessional: ~~

Bryce and Neo sit together while the twins sit in silence, which is quite unusual for the record.

On the other team, the "Alliance" Of Mark, Sally, and Daniel sit together, much to the bewilderment of the two girls.

"I thought he was on our side?" Olivia whispered to Venus, who shrugged. "Probably nothing."

As usual, Chris barges in the door, much to the surprise of no one. "Welcome campers to your fifth day here! And today, I've planned a treat for you! Follow me to the clearing for the annual shock-off!"

"The annual what now?" Bryce asks cautiously.

"You heard me…"

The camera flashes to the clearing, there are two benches colored in the respective team colors, and in front of the benches are a row of buzzer buttons, and above the benches is a row of metal helmets with an electric current flowing through wires which are connected to transmitters on either side. In other words, a total deathtrap.

"Have a seat! Welcome to the most miserable place of your life!"

Chris laughs evilly.

"For now."

Mark looks on in worry, "Wow. Electrocuting us? Are you serious?"

"Yes, yes I am."

Each team takes a seat, and once everyone is situated where they need to be, the electric helmets clamp down.

"Oh god." Madison whimpers.

"Here is how the challenge works, I will read a very embarrassing secret out loud on a card, and the person who the secret belongs to must admit to the secret by pressing the button in front of you. That will issue a minor shock to your person. But, if you refuse to admit, your whole team will be dished with hundreds of volts!"

Chris cackles yet again. "By answering a question, you earn your team a point, first team to five points will win immunity, losers send a person home, the questions will start out small, but work their way up, now who's ready to start?"

Everyone either shivers or gulps, Mark looking the most uneasy.

"First question, going to the Parrots, who has a fear, of dead insects?"

A timer sound starts, and several of the team members raise their eyebrows.

"Really? They can't even hurt you, lamest fear ever." Jade chastises

Bryce sighs and presses the buzzer, and is immediately shocked. "Ahh!"

"Wow, lame."

"Look, people are afraid of different things, it's just the, the legs. The way they curl up when…."

Bryce shivers at the thought.

"1 point towards the Parrots. Next question, going to the Whales: Which person here accidentally lit a barn on fire and killed 2 horses in the process?"

"Woah! That's quite a jump there…" Mark says surprised.

Sally hangs her head in shame, and presses the buzzer, getting a shock. "That happened when I was 10, I dropped the lantern onto the floor, which happened to be covered in hay.."

Sally begins to tear up. Mark looks on sadly from the other end of the bench, wanting to help, but psychically unable to.

"1 point to the Whales! Now, for the Parrots: Which person here bullied a girl at her school for seven years straight for being lesbian?"

The entirety of the Parrots glare at Jade, who laughs nervously, and pushes the buzzer.

Zap!

"Owwwww, what? She was a total weirdo!"

"Fitting seeing that come from your mouth." Madison says spitefully.

"Whatever…."

"2 points to the Parrots team! Next question for the Whales: who stole 1,000 dollars from their parents?"

Most of the Whales team looks around angrily, attempting to single out the thief amongst them. Surprisingly, no one came forward, resulting in a barrage of electricity for the entire team.

"AZAAZAZAZAZAZAZAZAZAZ!"

Chris laughs and wipes a tear form his eyes.

"Looks like no one scores a point." Chris says.

Olivia flushes a deep burgundy and Sally takes notice. Mark sighs at Olivia and looks down in pain.

"What a petty thing to do.." Sally says.

Olivia gulps.

Confessional: Olivia ~~

"My parents didn't buy me the clothes I wanted! Besides, it's not like they weren't rich anyway. They had millions of dollars, clearly they won't be that mad that I stole a hard 2 hours work from them…."

End of Confessional: ~~

"Well, the score remains 2 to 1, Parrots leading. Next question, to the Parrots: Who got banned from a mall because they were caught making out with a model mannequin?"

The timer begins, and several of the Parrot members look around in confusion, but no one owns up.

"AZAZAZAZZAZAZAZAZAZ!" The electricity zaps everyone on the team.

"And no point for the Parrots."

The team looks to one of the twins, some more amused than angry.

"Not even going to ask.." Bryce says.

Even Zack can't help but burst out laughing. Jack hangs his head in shame. "She was a totally hot mannequin, brah.." Jack reasons.

"It was a mannequin, it doesn't have a gender!" Bryce says.

"Moving on, next question for the Whales: Who faked a illness to raise money for themselves?"

The team shifts their gaze to Venus, who promptly scowls and pushes the buzzer.

Zap!

"Great to know how trustworthy you are." Sally says coldly.

"Hey, it was only like 6,000 dollars!"

"Let me guess, dementia, or maybe down syndrome?" Mark asks sarcastically. "Freaking asshole."

Venus crosses her arms and puffs out her cheeks.

"And the score is tied yet again! 2 To 2! For the Parrots: Who got awarded the "least likely to succeed" award in Middle AND High school 4 years in a row?"

Now to was Zack's turn to stop laughing, but he doesn't push the buzzer, and he gets his entire team shocked.

"AZAZAZAZAZAZAZ!"

Bryce was starting to get angry at this point. "Great to know that we can't trust these two."

The camera pans to the twins, Jack buries his head in his hands like a toddler, while Zack strokes his hair in embarrassment.

"No point, the score is still 2 to 2. Next question for the Whales: Who here once stole their best friend's diary and read all their secrets out loud to the whole school?"

"What kind of messed-up question is that?" Bryce interjects, not happy with the nature of the challenge.

"Hey, don't shoot the messenger. I'm just reading what's on the card," Chris retorts, still smirking.

Venus grumbles and presses the buzzer, shocking herself. "OW!"

Sally narrows her eyes. "Venus being a terrible human being, why am I not surprised?"

Venus scowls, "It's not like she's my friend ANYMORE!"

"Probably for the best…" Neo says.

"The score is 2 to 3, the Whales are in the lead! Next question to the Parrots: Who here has KILLED somebody?"

Madison gasps, Bryce widens his eyes, the twins gape their mouths, and Jade rolls her eyes. Neo begins to tear up. Neo presses the buzzer.

Zap!

"It was self defense, when I was 12, a burglar broke into our house in the middle of the night, and I happened to walk in on him. I shot him, and he died later….."

Neo begins to bawl uncontrollably. Bryce puts a hand on Neo's shoulder while everyone else shoots death glares at Chris, who begins to sweat vigorously.

"Heh, heh, just part of the game!" Chris gulps while Bryce consoles Neo.

Confessional: Bryce

"That's probably what's been eating at him all this time…. How sad."

End of Confessional: ~~

"The score is yet again tied at 3 to 3! Next Question for the Whales: Which person's parents are part of a cult?"

"What?" Venus says quizzically. "That's NOT me!"

Mark groans and presses the buzzer, but not with his hands, he slaps his head against the buzzer. Shocking him painfully.

"Great, thank you for ruining my relationships, Chris." He says.

Sally looks at Mark. "Yer a CULTIST?"

Sally stands up, both confused and appalled.

Mark gets defensive. "No, no! Just my pa-"

"Parents, schmarents. Don't care." Sally says. "I thought I could at least trust you to not hide things from me, given all the talks we had…"

"Well, well." Mark stammers, but he gives up.

Confessional: Mark ~~

"Yes, so my parents are part of a cult! SO WHAT? I HATE MY PARENTS! AND I VOWED TO NEVER BE LIKE THEM!"

Mark calms down. "So much for trying."

End of Confessional: ~~

"That's 4 points to 3! Next question goes to the Parrots: Which person here ate all the reward food that the team won?"

This question rewards baffled looks from Bryce and Neo.

"Who? I thought we already resolved that? Tiffany did it, but she's gone so…."

Suddenly, Madison rings the buzzer.

Zap!

Jade sneers at Madison. "I knew it, I knew it was you! You heffer! And you lied to everyone about it!"

Madison lowers her head. "I'm sorry."

While Jade and Bryce appear angry at this new news, the twins appear to pity her. They exchange glances at each other before looking away.

"And it's tied again, at 4 points per team. Now, this question is for the Whales: Which person here has feelings for another member?"

"Oooooooooh." Venus says. Sally rolls her eyes at this, but pushes the buzzer, cementing in the teams win.

"I'm mad at you Mark, you should have told me about these things, and I really wish you could have been honest with me…."

Mark nods his head. "I'm sorry. PLEASE forgive me!"

Sally looks at Mark, torn between her feelings for him and her disappointment at his lack of honesty. After a long pause, she finally sighs.

"Fine, but you have to promise me that from now on, you'll be honest with me, no matter what," Sally says, her voice firm but also filled with a hint of vulnerability.

Mark nods, his expression serious. "I promise, Sally. No more secrets."

The rest of the campers watch the exchange, some looking amused,

and others genuinely touched.

Except Daniel, who scowls furiously.

Confessional: Daniel ~~

"NOOOOO! This will ruin my plan! Now I'm forced to deal with these two before I can get everyone on my side!"

End of Confessional: ~~

Chris, who had been observing the whole ordeal, interrupts.

"Well, well, well, looks like we have a little romance blossoming on the island," Chris smirks. "But enough of that mushy stuff. The score is 5 to 4, and the Whales have secured their victory! They win immunity!"

Although the team won, no one cheers. Which angers Chris. Instead, the team gets up and angrily leaves, furious at how messed up the challenge was. The losing team just sits there, half of them wet with tears.

"I hope you're happy with the drama, Chris." Bryce says somberly, and he and Neo walk off. Jade crosses her arms at Madison, who sighs.

"Sorry Pahkitew Parrots, but unfortunately, one of you is being eliminated tonight, please go vote."

Back at the cabin, Neo sits next to Bryce on the bunk.

"I don't know what to do anymore, it's not like anyone here likes me…." Neo says. his words hang in the air, his shoulders slumped with a heavy weight.

Bryce glances at him, "I wouldn't be so sure about that, because it seems as if someone is caught in a lie.

"What do you mean?"

Muffled shouting from the other side of the cabin answer Neo's question.

The shouting is due to Jade berating Madison for eating the food that Tiffany took the blame for, Madison just sits on the bed, barely breathing.

"Listen here, pound packer, everyone is going to vote you off now! HA!" Jade yells, pointing a finger at the silenced girl on the bunk bed.

From the other side, Bryce smiles at what he hears, his expression a mix of joy and happiness. "See, Neo? Things can change in an instant. Don't lose hope."

Neo sits on the bed, staring. "I know what I'm going to do, I've made up my mind.."

"Well, what happens, happens!" Bryce says as he begins to walk away. "See you at the elimination ceremony!" He calls, Neo sighs as the shot fades out.

The shot re fades in at the elimination, where the 6 members of the Pahkitew Parrots team sit, Jade and Bryce look happy and confident, the twins look sad, Madison looks defeated while Neo looks more or less miserable. Chris stands in the middle of it all with 5 marshmallows.

Welcome, Parrots," Chris announces with his trademark smirk. "You know the drill. Marshmallows represent your safety in the game. The camper who does not receive a marshmallow must immediately board the dreaded Plane of Shame and leave Pahkanakwa Island for good."

"Let's get to it," Chris declares, holding up the first marshmallow. "The first marshmallow goes to... Bryce."

Bryce accepts the marshmallow with a nod.

"The next marshmallow," Chris continues, "goes to... Jack."

The twins exchange a glance before one of them takes the offered marshmallow, their sadness evident.

"Zack, you're safe."

Now, only three contestants remain: Jade, Neo, and Madison. The atmosphere grows even more tense, as Neo and Madison's look becomes tense, Jade sits with a smug smile.

"Jade is safe."

Jade catches her marshmallow, and sneers at Madison, who looks down.

Chris takes a dramatic pause, holding the final marshmallow between his fingers. "The last marshmallow tonight goes to..."

Tension fills the air as Neo and Madison exchange nervous glances, their fate hanging in the balance. Jade's sneer widens.

"Neo. Madison, you've been elim-"

As Madison begins to stand up to leave, Neo stands up as well, earning a confused look from Jade and the twins, and a worried look from Bryce.

"No, I don't want to be here anymore, I'm done." Neo states.

"WHAT!" Jade yells.

"What?" Bryce asks frantically

"What?" The twins say in unison.
"Why?" Madison asks, breaking the paradox. "Why would you save me?"

Jade stands up as well. "Yeah, why would you save the overeater? She CLEARLY deserves to go home!"

Bryce scrunches back in his seat, clearly disappointed and sad, realizing that one of his few allies is unexpectedly leaving the competition. The unexpected turn of events leaves the remaining contestants and even Chris himself in shock. "Fine, fine Commander Coward, well see you off." He says, "Madison it's your lucky day."

The camera pans to Neo getting into the plane of shame, with an aviator cap for detail and effect.

"So long, Neo!" Chris says as he pushes the button to send the plane off, but Neo knows how to fly a plane, and he quickly takes control and lands to safety once out of sight. Chris begins to sign off.

"Well, that's 4 of out contestants down, and 10 remain, and what will happen next? Find out on the next episode of Total, Drama, PAHKANAKWA ISLAND"

The camera fades to black.

Well, now that Neo is gone, I'll have to develop Bryce's relationships with his team in a new way, as now his friend has been booted off, also I wanted a backstory for all the characters, which explains the challenge. But we're now in the final 10! See you soon for the sixth chapter.
