It didn't matter in the end, Blitz was dissatisfied and irritated at first, but everything changed the night he met someone, or rather a couple. If he was being honest with himself, that became the only reason why Blitz kept coming back regularly. At twenty-four years old, Blitz was never one to chase after anyone. He sure flirted for fun and had a girlfriend or two here and there, but it was always her who asked him out of her. He never considered it necessary to be the pursuer until this moment. This time, he left Barbie's side, before his sister could leave hers; He found a seat at the bar as usual, ordered a rum cola, slipping into the past memories of him. His thoughts began to focus on the first time he saw them, the girls he sought out whenever he was at the club.
Blitz had just lost Barbie in the crowd of people dancing on the floor. All he could hear was her sister's hasty good-bye as her eyes fell on a potential hot boy out on a hunt. Blitz heaved an indignant sigh, watching her walk away from her, before heading straight for the bar, a few shots wouldn't hurt and would probably relax him enough to have at least a little fun on her own. He pushed his way to the bar, sitting down in the only free seat left. Once he was comfortable, he hit the bar to order the bartender.
As he waited, his eyes began to study his surroundings, his gaze unintentionally falling on the girls sitting to the left of him. They were beautiful in a way that Blitz was drawn to.
The first of them had pale porcelain skin, black hair streaked with purple, two golden piercings in her ear, a mischievous smile that Blitz just caught a glimpse of as he sat down, and the most impressive eyes he had ever seen; an electric pink and as clear as crystal.
The other girl also had beautiful pale porcelain skin, beautiful silver hair, two piercings on her left eyebrow and another two in her ear, a mischievous smile, she also had an impressive pair of eyes that rivaled her partner; an intense red, as burning as the fire itself. He gazed at them cheekily, he found himself wanting to run his hands through both black and silver locks, feel her soft skin. The thought of him made her blush as he wondered how a couple of complete strangers could make him feel this way. The girls were unaware of Blitz's presence, until the bartender brought his drink.
Subtly, but confidently, they let his eyes roam over Blitz before smiling at him in a way that he could only describe as sexy.
"I really don't mind the attention from someone so cute, but maybe you need a picture instead?" one of the mysterious girls teased, Blitz blushing and stuttering in a poor effort to gesticulate a response. His companion downed her drink, looked Blitzo up and down again, giving a disapproving grunt. They both knew that Blitz was there and they also knew that he was watching them too.
"I didn't mean to intimidate you or anything. Honestly, I love what I see." -She assured, leaning closer to rest on his elbow, resting her chin on the palm of her hand to look at Blitz, his companion grunted again with disapproval showing a pair of fangs She chuckled when the jet couldn't respond and lazily used two fingers to close Blitz's mouth.
She didn't even know that his mouth was open. The woman's easy smile grew before she leaned back and returned to her drink. Blitz took his eyes off her and focused on her own drink, intending to calm down for a few seconds now that her heart was racing. He pushed the glass away and ordered something stronger. The girl raised a speculative pierced eyebrow in the jet's direction. She seemed curious.
"You seem to be taking things a bit fast tonight, don't you?" She guessed with a playful tone in her voice.
"I can't help it. Thanks to you I'm getting nervous "-Blitz replied without thinking, taking the next drink from him. It was meant to be an honest answer, but as soon as Blitz realized what he had said, he blushed and wished the earth would swallow him up. He hadn't meant it to sound flirty at all, Blitz was sure the girl would take it that way. However, she didn't seem to mind as he laughed and shook his head.
"You are quite bold to say something like that to me. I'm known to kick anyone's ass for shamelessly flirting with me," she replied, her tone not at all threatening, still playful. Her date grunted again, downing another swallow, asking the bartender to refill it. .
She seemed to bring out a more reckless side to Blitz that he didn't know he had because the next thing he knew he was responding without thinking back.
"Well, I'm not just anyone, am I?"-Blitz replied, smiling when the woman shook her head and drank some of her drink again.
"No, no, you're not. That's what I like about you so far "-she admitted. She put her glass down and offered Blitz a smile that she could only return. The girl didn't seem affected at all by the alcohol in her system, but Blitz was already feeling a bit warm and relaxed. He had always been a lightweight.
"So, what's your name strange?" She asked in a low voice that made Blitz even more dizzy.
"Blitzo Diaz, but everyone knows me as Blitz" -he answered, anxious now that the girl showed interest,
"Octavia Goetia, it's a pleasure to meet a cheeky soul who can really step up" -she commented, impressed; or what Blitz hoped she would be impressed with. He had no idea what he was talking about and he must have noticed because Octavia laughed, "And the grumpy one here is Loona, my girlfriend," he commented softly in his voice, clasping his fingers with those of his partner.
"I didn't know, I mean that..., I didn't mean to flirt with you, I mean that you're beautiful and everything but no..."-Blitz stammered with fear as he saw Loona's eyes fixing on him and seeing how he growled more and more force.
"He's very cute when he's nervous, I think he would be perfect to be part of our relationship, what do you think Loona?" -Octavia asked, playing with the back of her girlfriend's palm.
"What the hell do I care, what I see is a fucking loser" Loona grumbled, taking her glass, leaving, pushing her way through the people on the dance floor.
"What the hell just happened?" Blitz asked without understanding the situation, going back to drink a little from his glass.
"Loona and I have a polyamorous relationship and we would love to find a third person who will complement us and I think you would be the perfect one for it."-Looking lovingly into Blitz's eyes. "And he forgives Loona's character, when she drinks too much she's very grumpy."
"Don't worry, I'm still getting used to all this, this is very new to me" -Blitz reassured her, losing himself in her eyes.
"What I mean is that I don't feel like turning off your lights. Usually, I'm not that open with people, but I get a good vibe from you"-explained Octavia. Blitz was honored, as crazy as he sounded.
He tried to imagine Octavia beating someone violently, and he could, but he could also see a soft and kind side to her. Her face was surely deceiving. He seemed happy now, but Blitz had seen the scowl he'd had when he'd first sat down not too long ago. It thrilled him to know that Octavia's entire mood had changed for the better because of him.
