AN: Look I'm not really that used writing Miraculous Ladybug and Cat Noir stories in case you wonder if something feels really off or spelling errors. I'm more used to Sonic fanfictions and I have watched the show and the new MLB movie as well. I guarantee that movie.
Inside Marinette's room, the young couple were watching Spider-man from 2002 on her computer together.
"You know something Marinette, doesn't Ladybug remind you a bit of Spider-man?" Adrien asked her.
"How? They both dress in red, swing around and save people?" Marinette guessed.
"Yeah, though she doesn't web them up" Adrien replied.
"And what does that make Cat Noir to her? Black cat?" Marinette joked.
"Chat Noir's name literally means Black cat you know, so yes. They are both seductive towards Spider-man and Ladybug" Adrien pointed out.
"Ah yeah. That" Marinette said, picking up a croissant.
"It's a pity these two aren't a couple" Adrien said while munching his own.
"Well what can I say? Villains would take advantage of their love" Marinette replied, Adrien nodded.

Two hours later, the couple were about to change into nightgear when suddenly the wall blew open and there stood Carcharias with two drones behind him.
"Sorry to interrupt, lovebirds" He steps in with a sinister grin.
"What the?!" Adrien exclaims.
"Hello, Young Agreste." Carcharias said.
"What do you want from us?! We've done nothing!" Marinette shouted.
"Oh that's simple. I saw this Cat Noir sneak into your house the other day. Do you and he have a thing?" Carcharias approached Marinette.
"No! I don't! I only have for Adrien!" Marinette backed off, in this situation she can't transform in front of Adrien or Carcharias or her secret is out.
"What a pity. Well you're coming with me!" Carcharias grabs Marinette by her jacket with one hand.
"HEY! Let her go!" Adrien tries desperately to free his girlfriend from the villain. But Carcharias with his brute strength swats him aside.
"Now listen carefully young Agreste. If you want to see your precious girlfriend again, tell your mother I want a ransom of any sum! I want it in 48 hours!" Carcharias takes out his trident and pins Adrien to the wall, trapping him between the prongs of it. Adrien struggled to break free and as Carcharias was heading out the wall, Marinette's parents came up to see what's going on.
"LET ME GO! NO! HELP!" Marinette screamed as she struggled in Carcharias grip.
"Hey! Let my daughter go!" Tom yelled but Carcharias turns and jumps onto a platform the drones formed together, with a dark figure shaped like a butterfly stood next to him.
"We're done here!" Carcharias said to the strange butterfly holder. Sabine, Tom and Adrien could only watch in horror as the two villains flew away with Marinette.

Later at night, the police arrived at the scene with Emilie with them. She was worried about the safety of her son and his girlfriend being kidnapped.
"Adrien, what happened here?" She asked him.
"Someone called Carcharias kidnapped Marinette and wanted a ransom to set her free" Adrien explained to her.
"Carcharias? As in Carcharodon Carcharias? " Emile wondered.
"Yes. He's a shark-themed villain. And he wasn't alone. There was a girl with butterfly theme with him and his drones" Adrien told her more. Emilie gasps at what this means.
"It means someone has gotten the butterfly miraculous" Emilie said in horror.
"I thought Hawkmoth was dead! But apparently someone succeeded him" Adrien said.
"Yes. I'm afraid so. But I don't know how" Emilie said. Adrien looks over to Marinette's parents talking to the police. Tom was consoling his wife.
"We'll get Marinette back honey" Tom said.
"I don't want to lose our baby girl" Sabine said in deep sadness. Adrien walks over to them.
"Tom, Sabine, I'm so sorry I couldn't save your daughter" Adrien said.
"You did what you could Adrien. I don't blame you. Marinette loves you more than anything and we love you like you were our son" Sabine said, Adrien smiled slightly at her words.
"I promise you we'll get Marinette back somehow. Even if it means getting help from Ladybug and Cat Noir" Adrien said.

Inside some warehouse, Carcharias and the strange butterfly holder kept Marinette captive. She was tied with a rope and could not possibly escape.
"What are you going to do to me? Who are you?!" Marinette demanded to know who the butterfly holder was.
"The name's Chrysalis, successor of the late Monarch" Chrysalis said and walks closer to Marinette.
"But how? Ladybug said the brooch was lost!" Marinette said.
"She thought wrong! And I will see you suffer as before" Chrysalis said.
"Before? Just who are you anyway?" Marinette got confused.
"You'll figure it out soon. I made a deal to help Carcharias lure in Cat Noir so he can destroy him once and for all for what his kwami has done. And then I'll get the rest of the miraculouses once I've destroyed Ladybug" Chrysalis tells Marinette her plan.
Carcharias soon shows up to Marinette and Chrysalis.
"Comfortable?" He sneered at Marinette.
"You're crazy Carcharias. Cat Noir and I are not in love!" Marinette shouted.
"I get that! But you apparently know him well! You're merely a bait to lure him out!" Carcharias grabs Marinette by her face.
"Do you know who he is?!" He demanded to know.
"NO! I do not know who he is! Honest!" Marinette replied.
"Hmmm. What a pity. I hope your boyfriend's mother hears my ransom demand" Carcharias said and let go off her.

At the Agreste Mansion, Adrien was in his room, thinking of how to save Marinette and where to find her and the two villains. The news had the headline "New villain kidnaps local teenage girl, parents devastated."
"Adrien, I'm really sorry what happened" Plagg flew near his holder.
"I wish I could have transformed in time but he got the best of me. He knew that Marinette would be the perfect bait to Cat Noir, me" Adrien said.
"But he doesn't know you are Cat Noir" Plagg said.
"I know and neither does she" Adrien said.
With Emilie, she looked out the window, thinking of what her late husband's actions and that they are now repeated with the new holder of the butterfly brooch. But her thoughts were soon interrupted by someone calling her on the phone. The number was unknown but she answered it anyway.
"Hello?"
"Greetings Mrs. Agreste. This is Carcharias speaking. Surely your boy has heard of the ransom I demanded for the safety of Dupain-Cheng?" Carcharias on the line spoke.
"I'll do anything just don't hurt her" Emilie kept her cool.
"Good. Now listen carefully Emilie. I want the ransom of nine million euros in exchange for the safety of young Dupain-Cheng. But I want Cat Noir as well to be there as well" Carcharias continued.
"You want who?" Emilie got surprised.
"You heard me. His miraculous kwami is the reason my own kwami's home Atlantis sunk in the first place and he will surrender his ring to me!" Carcharias said.
"Why should he surrender his ring to you after all good he has done to Paris with Ladybug while I was missing? Surely this kwami didn't mean for it to happen" Emilie tried to reason with him.
"Do you have any ideas how much were lost when it sank?! I will do anything to raise it from the depths and restore it to it's former glory! I'll be hailed as a hero then!" Carcharias continued.
"HERO?! You're just a coward who kidnaps a helpless girl!" Emilie shouted, losing her cool. This enraged Carcharias.
"Coward am I?! We'll see who's a coward! I want you personally to deliver the ransom money to me!" Carcharias said in anger.
"What?" Emilie gasped.
"Come alone with Cat Noir with you, I'll send you the adress" Carcharias said before hanging up. Emilie sank down into her chair.
"Unbelievable" She said in disbelief. Then Adrien came into her office.
"What is it Mom?" He asked.
"He requires nine millions in exchange for her life. And that he wants me to deliver with Cat Noir keeping me company" Emilie explained.
"I'll try tell him some ideas of mine to ensure it won't go wrong" Adrien said, keeping his identity secret from his mother.

Much later as Cat Noir, he was discussing a plan with Rena Rouge to help Marinette from the clutches of Carcharias and the new butterfly holder, not knowing it's Chrysalis.
"Okay, this is gonna be tricky with taking Carcharias down and this new holder of the butterfly brooch" Cat Noir said.
"How exactly?" Asked Rena Rouge.
"Carcharias possesses great strength and surprise attacks. He was testing me and Ladybug in our first fight with him" Cat Noir explained.
"That figures. Well let's find the warehouse Adrien's mother is going to" Rena Rouge said.
"Speaking of which, Ladybug's missing as well. Where is she?" Wondered Cat Noir.
"I hope they haven't taken her too. But lets hurry" Rena Rouge said. The two heroes followed Emilie's limo while nearby, a blue and gray elephant themed guy was following them.
