On that very day, after escorting Hinata to her home, Naruto had dedicated his last few hours to intensive training. Approaching midnight, he decided to enter the hunting dimension again.
As he opened his eyes, he was met with the familiar dark void. Three portals, similar to mirrors, were in front of him. As he prepared to enter the fourth map, a familiar, albeit distant, energy caught his attention.
With a thoughtful expression, Naruto followed the origin of this energy. Upon reaching it, he encountered ethereal points, reminiscent of a rainbow's spectrum. Through them, he was able to glimpse Hinata, asleep and dressed in her pajamas. Beside her, a girl about eight or nine years old was resting.
The scene left Naruto dumbfounded. 'Why does Hinata look older? And this girl... why does she seem familiar?'
And then, a bold thought crossed his mind as he observed Hinata asleep next to the young girl. 'Could this be Hinata from the future? The future I would have had if I hadn't remembered another life and hadn't discovered the hunting dimension?'
The possibility left Naruto stunned. He almost went into shock at the prospect. But why could he see her now, if supposedly this would only occur with women with whom he had intimate relations?
He had understood that to be the functioning of the hunting dimension. Could it be that, because Hinata was his wife in an alternate reality, this rule also applied?
And why did this vision only appear now?
He then reflected on the recent increase in his power, through the mastery of various divine arts and god arts... 'Could this have something to do with the fact that my power is now at the same level as Level 1 of the planetary stage?'
Uncertainty hung over him, without the guarantee of a concrete answer. After all, it wasn't as if someone was going to appear out of nowhere and resolve his doubts. However, a conviction was taking hold within him: he felt he had the power to attract this Hinata to the hunting dimension with him.
'Cough…'
Of course, his motives were not strange or inappropriate. His eagerness to bring Hinata stemmed from the desire to have company to face the beasts at his side. Loneliness, after all, weighed heavily during these hunts.
But how could this work? And if it were possible, would he still be the same? Was he still Naruto?
Questions multiplied, making it difficult to discern the correct answer. Putting aside deep thought, Naruto opted to use his mental force to connect the dots.
As soon as Naruto's mental force touched the ethereal points, they began to materialize, intensifying their brightness with each passing second.
In the midst of that radiant light, a charming figure suddenly emerged from the void.
Naruto couldn't help but smile, his enthusiasm overflowing. After all, it was a unique experience, being about to bring to his side the woman who, in an alternate reality, could be his wife.
Although he did not fully understand, he sensed the existence of more than one reality.
As for Hinata, she was sleeping peacefully, absorbed in her world. Suddenly, her consciousness became blurry. When she awoke, she found herself in a completely strange dimension.
Suddenly alert, Hinata examined the environment around her. Soon, her eyes met the figure of Naruto standing there. She recognized that it was the real Naruto, not just an illusory one. The reason for her recognition? She wouldn't be able to explain, but her instinct seemed absolutely certain.
Their energies seemed to have unified in some way, which made her relax a bit. Hinata then smiled. "Naruto-kun, what's happening? Do you know?" she inquired.
Driven by curiosity, she ran to Naruto but soon frowned in suspicion. The Naruto in front of her seemed different from the one she knew. Even the color of his hair was different and, despite his youthful appearance, he didn't seem to be more than 18 years old.
Naruto scratched his head, uncertain about how best to explain the situation: "Hello, Hinata, you must be confused, aren't you?"
She furrowed her brow even more as she raised her gaze to meet him: "Are you really Naruto?"
"Yes, but I'm probably not the Naruto you know," Naruto confessed. He then began to clarify the best he could about the strange situation they were in.
After hearing the whole unraveling of facts, Hinata was stunned. Her surprise surpassed even Naruto's. After all, all of this was extremely new to her, she could barely comprehend the concept of other dimensions. Not to mention the potential existence of other versions of herself and Naruto.
"How old are you now, Naruto-kun?" Hinata asked.
"17 years and..." Naruto almost asked her age, but realized it might be indelicate of him, so he quickly changed the subject: "You accepted all this so easily?"
"Ah, it's not that I accepted easily, it's that everything seems so surreal. At times, I think I'm still dreaming," Hinata replied. After all, she had been asleep until very recently, so could this be part of a dream?
With a gentle movement, Naruto touched her hand, squeezing it slightly to reaffirm the reality of the situation.
