Quirk: Chakra

Author's Notes: Hey, guys! Moizz Here. Yet another chapter of Quirk: Chakra. This one was a doozy for me to right. I pulled off every stop and tried to show that the MC is a more sympathetic character. Bakugou will be bullied here a bit but please be aware that this bullying will not stick. I will make sure that both Bakugou and MC become friends and the former apologizes to Izuku for treatment in the past, just earlier than cannon. This is the chapter where Reito will show off every single one of his abilities he has acquired so far and the potential those skills have for growth. The Black Hole Theory or whatever in the canon will be more prominent here.

I want my OC to come off as arrogant yet kind, sort of like a conflicting personality. Also I want to apologize for mistreating Hatsume Mei. It was a requirement in the sort of story I want to write.

If any of you have a suggestion or complaint with my depictions of characters, please feel free to drop a review. Any and all criticism is welcome. So, without further ado... let's get on with the chapter.

Chapter 7: Sports Festival.

U.A, Class 1-A.

"Shut up, all of you and take your seats.", blared Aizawa-sensei. Even before he turned towards his class all of us were seated and at attention. He gave a barely perceptible smile. "Today I have an important announcement to make.", we all straightened up and listened intently. "Next Saturday, the U.A Sports Festival is about to take place."

At that everyone cheered joyfully, but one stern glare from sensei shut everyone up. "I am not finished.", he said with seething anger, then in an instant turned back to his lazy expression. "This festival is important for your careers. As you may know, many Hero Agencies attend this festival to stalk possible future employees or partners."

'The way he said it sounds bad.' I idly thought as I continued listening.

"To be selected by one of these agencies is a huge boost to your experience and, for a week, you will be interning with them after the festival as well. So, I want each and everyone one of you to surpass your limits in this festival. Plus Ultra or whatever."

'The way he delivered that supposed motivational speech is actually sapping everyone of motivation they already had.', I thought as I rose my hand, looking at his arms that were is casts. "Will you be attending the festival given your condition? After all, you have just recovered from your injuries, enough to walk on your own."

"With the threat of this new villain group that attacked us earlier, we can't spare any able bodies from lending a hand. So, of course I will be attending.", he replied coolly.

"But is it alright to hold the festival, given the circumstances, kero?", Tsu asked.

"You don't have to worry about the security. We have hired a number of agencies to patrol around the premises to ensure no unsavory elements interrupt our event. And there are many solo, underground heroes keeping an eye on us from the shadows as well."

"Is there anyway we can use our support items in the event?", Aoyama asked.

"For people like you, for whom it is imperative that you use support items to control your quirk, we have given special permission. Don't worry about that.", he answered. Without even waiting for further questions he quickly walked out of the class.

"Well, I guess he was getting more tired than usual while still recovering.", I said out loud to answer the class's burning question.

After he left, everyone went back to chatting with each other over the topic that was given. I stood up from my place and went to my group of friends and Tooru-chan, who were staring at Ochako who was uncharacteristically murderous.

"Guys.", she spoke with sickening amount of determination. "Let's do our best at the festival!", she spoke with one fist in the air and her stance being that of a pouncing tiger.

I couldn't help but smile at that as I hugged Tooru-chan. "Hah, you're on, Ochako! Like I will lose to a wimp like you!", I retorted with a fist tightened in front of me.

"Why would you say that, Reito-kun?", my girlfriend asked me pensively in whispers.

"She's is pumped up and won't accept any other answers.", I replied her in whispers as well.

In front of us Izuku was approaching Ochako, who was vibrating in excitement at my challenge. She curtly looked up in my direction, "Underestimating me will get you killed, Reito!", she retorted to my retort.

"We'll see about that at the festival. And you better be prepared to lose.", I retorted to her retorting me to my first retort.

"Okay, this will get nowhere, so let's just say we all will do our best and aim to win every match.", Iida interrupted our pissing bout.

"Nice save, Iida", Tooru-chan said to the four-eyes.

"Hey four eyes, I extend the same challenge to you. And know that I will be fighting dirty.", I said to the flabbergasted Iida.

"Oh, come on!", Izuku exclaimed at my antics.

I just chuckled in response and went back to my seats. I was supposed to keep the peace in class as the president, but keeping up the morale is also important. I thought of something and went to the front of the class. "Listen everyone!"

Is spoke in a loud voice. Figuring out my intentions, Izuku and Tooru-chan facepalmed. "This sports festival is a huge hurdle for us to cross. And some of you may not be motivated to compete, so I thought of an added challenge to sweeten the whole deal.", I said and lowered my face to generate suspense. "Whoever has the most amount of offers from the agencies after the festival will be the new class president!"

"That's not fair!" and cries rang out in the room.

"We know it's you who will get the most offers. That's just not fair!", Kaminari said with tears in his eyes.

While it may be true that I have been a stellar student and a good leader for them, so, even if my quirk is not up to par, I might do something stunning to capture the audience's attention. 'That was a valid point there, Kaminari.', I thought as I made an act of thinking about it. "Alright then, let me rephrase that, Kaminari. Whoever gets the second most amount of offers will be the president. And in case it is Izuku, he will be able to choose the vice president from the class, other than me of course."

That seemed acceptable to others, except for one. "Shut the fuck up, idiot. You think your sorry ass is grabbing all the attention? Hah! I'll show you how it's done, bitch.", said Katsuki in a challenging tone.

'It seems the class will be safe from him, at least. I don't even want the attention anyway. I'll just let him take first place, it will make him feel good about himself.', I though as I replied, "Whatever you say, Katsuki."

I brushed off the living explosion's glare and the class's arguments and went back to my girlfriend with a huge, triumphant smile. She sighed.

"What am I going to do with you?", she said with a shake or her head.

"You have to beat me at my own game, of course.", I replied with a chuckle.

"You know that's never happening, right?"

"Yup! I just like challenging myself against people."

"Haaah… I guess that's why I love you.", she said with a deep sigh and a tired smile.

Sakazuki Residence.

"I hear that U.A Sports Festival is approaching.", dad said just when I sat down to eat dinner.

After our school, I took Tooru-chan on a stroll in the commercial district near U.A. It wasn't the ideal date but she seemed happy. Through text, I had informed my family and mom that I will be late. It was already dinnertime when I came back home. My family was eating in silence, with my portion being laid out as well.

I looked at dad, "Who told you?", I asked. I didn't know where he would get this information, though.

"Well, I was a U.A hopeful in my younger days and had gathered information about all their events. Not to mention that every year, that Sports Festival is aired on every sports channel in the country.", he answered. But I was not satisfied.

"You know there is no way of knowing that. And the even is being held earlier than usual this year, what with the threat of this new gang and all.", I said, "Mom must've told you, didn't she?"

At that dad spat out his coffee. "No! Definitely not! What makes you think she even had a wa to tell me?"

"You're saying you don't have her contact? I can feel your giddy chakra whenever you talk to her on the phone.", I answered for him.

"That's not… Yeah. You got me.", he replied in defeat.

"I'm glad to see you happy, at the very least. Just try not to brag about your non-existent detective skills to her.", said I.

"When are you two going to be married, Kahiko?", auntie asked dad.

"Isn't that a bit too early?", he countered her with a question.

"What do you mean? You are old as hell. If I had to guess, you would drop dead any day now. You should definitely get married before that happens.", I smugly answered him.

"I'm not that old, you cocky brat.", he said then sighed, "As for marriage, I don't want to rush Inko-chan. I want to let her take her time getting used to me."

"'Inko-chan', huh? My, I bet you have even thought up of names for your future children, haven't you, Kahiko?", auntie teased him.

Before dad could retort, uncle spoke up, "I don't blame you, brother-in-law. She is a perfect life partner for you."

"Not you too, Sato!", dad said indignantly.

My cousins and I were snickering at his expense while eating our fill. The family then went into the topic a little more. I gave my two cents wherever they were necessary. Even Haruka, the elder of the two sisters, gave her opinions. The chatting came to a stop when dinner was over. Dad was an embarrassing mess after that, though.

I went back to my room for some sleep, but not before sending a good night text to Tooru-chan. I can't believe I became the thing I made fun of, a doting boyfriend.

U.A, Stadium Alpha, Prep room.

"Guys, I have an idea.", I spoke to the entire class.

A few days ago, our class entrance was swarming with bottom-feeders staking out the competition after lunch time. The tensions were running high, even more so after Katsuki declared hi challenge to them. The other classes were rightfully pissed off at us. I wanted to at least placate their angers and try to build a modicum of trust and understanding. That's why I came up with this idea.

Everyone present gave me their attention as I addressed them. Izuku was standing beside me in full support to the idea. "As you all know, the other classes don't like us very much. It is expected in a competition, but our goal is to build a better relationship with our fellow hero-hopefuls. To placate their anger and jealousy towards us I have come up with an idea."

I paused to let the information sink in. I heard a scoff from Katsuki who then turned his head away. I continued nonetheless. "Right before the tournament, there are games for the students who didn't make the cut. During that time, I propose that the girls of this class play the cheer-leading role."

There were few complaints and even fewer cheers. To sell my idea, I continued. "This is totally voluntary and up for a vote. If the majority is against this idea we will drop it. So don't feel obligated to do so. This is just my way of building a better relationship with our peers. And not only girls, but boys will be doing it as well!"

This time, the complaints and cheers were many but equal. Guys were definitely the ones complaining and girls were the ones cheering. To placate the boys, I continued, "Once again, nobody needs to feel pressured to do so. It is voluntary.", the complaints died down. "Now that the explanation is out of the way, everyone who is for this idea, please raise your hand."

18 out of 20 students were present from our class. 17 rose their hands. The one who didn't was Katsuki. I spoke again. "And whoever is against this idea, please raise your hand."

Predictably, it was Katsuki who rose his hand. "I am against this shit! Why do we gotta make side characters pleased!? I don't give a shit about them!"

"That may be so, Katsuki. But unlike you, there are us who are team players. And mutual respect for their peers is a key component that makes a hero. If you are against that then you are free to abstain from this.", I told him.

Without waiting for his reply I turned back to the rest of the class. "Those of you who would be actually doing the thing, please raise your hands."

Before anyone could do as I asked them, Katsuki exploded. "You think I don't have what it takes to be a team player, huh!? Well, I'll show you bastards how it's done! I'm in!"

'So much for not caring.', I thought as I answered him. "That's great. Welcome to the team, Mr. Dynamite.", I jokingly said and turned back to the students who rose their hands. All of them except for Shoji were in. It was understandable why the guy would not volunteer.

"So, it's decided. Yaomomo, can we leave the synthesis of our uniform cheer-leading outfits to you? Whenever you have time, that is.", I asked her. She was the only one I could think of who could make tailor-made outfits on the go. But I felt bad, so I added. "If you are not comfortable with that then I'm sure we can find those outfits in the stadium, somewhere."

"Oh, you don't have to do that. I will be happy to make some.", she replied cheerfully.

"Thank you very much, Yaomomo.", I said with a small bow. "Since the games are going to be a bit later, we should only focus on our challenges ahead. We can take care of these preparations later. I didn't want to spring this on everyone when we were all tired and stuff, so I explained the situation beforehand. I wish every one of you all the best."

With that Izuku and I took our seats. Just then, the door to the room slammed open and in came Shoto, glaring holes in Izuku's head. He slowly stalked to the middle of the room. "Izuku, in this festival, I will be after you the whole time. It doesn't matter who wins the tournament, I just want to beat you."

His tone was quite scary and his eyes were screaming challenge. I took that threat seriously. Then he turned his head towards me. "And the same goes for you, Reito."

With that he turned around and went back outside. I couldn't help but giggle. "Why did he come inside if he had to go back out after challenging us?". Tooru-chan giggled in response.

"Don't just scoff at his challenge, Reito-kun. He is definitely going to go all out against you two.", Ochako said.

"Oh, believe me when I say I'm not dismissing it. More than that, I'm looking forward to this.", I replied.

"Y-yeah. He's right. I-I'm definitely looking forward to it.", Izuku agreed.

"Don't say I didn't warn you.", Ochako replied.

"Where did your zeal go from that day right after Aizawa-sensei's announcement? You were the most competitive out of everyone in class.", Tooru-chan asked her.

"Well… To be honest, I was also looking forward to the challenges, but… when I thought about everyone, I got nervous. Everyone's quirk is so useful and powerful. Mine is just…"

"Aww. Don't put yourself down like that, Ochan. You are totes awesome with your gravity quirk.", Tooru-chan tried to cheer her up.

"Yeah, Ochako-chan. While Reito and I have accumulation type quirks that strengthen our bodies, yours affects the objects around you. It is so much more useful than strength and speed. Not to mention, you could turn yourself weightless. Any race you enter with that is in the bag. And not to mention….", with that Izuku went into his muttering spree in order to cheer his girlfriend up. Surprisingly, he didn't stutter even once through it all, and it went for the entire duration until our class was called to the stadium.

Suffice it to say, Izuku might get lucky after the festival due to all the praises he threw at her.

U.A, Stadium Alpha, Main stage.

"And now, here comes the famous class of this year, the ones who overcame adversity, the ones who defeated the villains at USJ, the one, the only, Class 1-A!", blared the walking speaker over the mic, trying to build up the hype, unsuccessfully.

His overzealous announcement was met with silence from the stands. Instead, every person present was either whispering to their friends or muttering incoherent words of awe by themselves. I made my way out with the entire class behind me. When I stepped into the light, the cheers started. I couldn't help but bask in the glory. But it was short lived, as we approached the stage that was set up, on top of which was standing Ms. Midnight, our history teacher. She was alright in my book. Also, I liked when she tried her seduction on me and failed every time. For some reason I was immune to her tricks. I am a healthy boy in my teens, I should be drooling all over the place, but I wasn't. Weird.

I locked my eyes with hers and took my place in front of our class's row. She gave me a smirk. Eventually, all the competitors came and took their places in front of the stage. Ms. Midnight took the mic of it's stand.

"Welcome, young competitors. Welcome to U.A Sports Festival. Today, all of you will be competing in various challenges, decided randomly by this wheel of fortune.", she pointed at the said object to her right. "Before we decide on the first challenge, we would like to hear a few words from the student who took first position in this year's entrance exam, Sakazuki Reito!"

I narrowed my eyes. 'I wasn't told beforehand. They must've kept it from us for a surprise.', I thought as I made my way up the stairs and stood facing the students assembled. I looked to my left to see Ms. Midnight giving me a thumbs up in encouragement. I rolled my eyes and turned back.

"First of all, thanks for the opportunity to represent U.A in the opening act. Secondly… Well, I haven't prepared a speech so I'll just say what is on my mind.", I said as the cheers in the stands died down. "I am not here to win all the matches. I'm just here for fun. But, a few of my friends have decided to challenge me, and I intend to make them eat dirt. So I expect every one of us to do our best and go beyond Plus Ultra!"

I paused for the cheers to die down before directing my gaze to the dynamite of our class. "One last thing.", the audience went quiet and waited for my last sentence. I narrowed my eyes at him, "Katsuki, get wrecked."

This time even the students gathered there were cheering me on. While Katsuki was fuming at my taunt and was just about to jump me in anger. Only due to Kirishima holding him back was he stopped from doing so. I made my way back down and joined my class.

"Well, that was an interesting speech from the class president. Glad to see not all the presidents are prudes.", Ms. Midnight took over with a light-hearted joke. "With that done with, we will finally spin the wheel of fortune and decide the first challenge!"

Among the cheers of the crowd, the wheel was spun. I channeled chakra to my eyes to improve my eyesight to observe where the arrow would land. I wanted it to land on the obstacle course, because that sound the most fun, but I saw the wheel slowing down and predicted it would land on something else. I waited for the moment it would click the it's second last stump and slightly nudged it with my Air Style Jutsu. Due to that, it landed on my desired obstacle course with none the wiser.

"And today's first challenge is… the obstacle course! Every student please line yourselves at the entrance and wait for the 'go signal'. The rules will be explained to you in a moment.", Ms. Midnight said to us.

I went to my girlfriend first and foremost. "You need help in this? I am planning on flying through the entire thing. Horizontally flying, I mean."

"Thanks, but no. I can't expect you to come to my rescue whenever I am in trouble. You go win this race, alright?", she replied and gave me a quick kiss on the lips.

"Suit yourself, love.", I said and went to find Izuku. Upon seeing him, I approached. "You need any help there, Izuku?"

"Oh, no. Definitely not. I c-can't impress Ochako-chan when I am clinging to you.", he replied.

"Oooh~ impressing your girlfriend, are you?~", I teased him and he stammered. "Don't worry, I get it. Just remember to distribute your energy all over your body at once, but only at 5% unless more is required."

"Y-yeah, yeah. I know.", he answered and I smiled.

Turning back I saw the same stage moved to the side of the entrance with Ms. Midnight already on top. 'I guess it is made of concrete so Cementoss might have easily done that.', I thought wryly.

"And now for the rules, which is, there are none! Enjoy!", she said and raised a pistol in the air and fired, signaling the start of the race.

Izuku and I both shot forward at blinding speeds, I was matching his speed to keep pace and not tire myself out early. In front of us was the entrance gate and a few competitors had made their way outside. One of them turned around and swung his hand. 'It's Shoto!', I thought and turned to Izuku.

"A big wall of ice is coming, shoot through it with a flying kick with me.", I told him and he nodded. We both increased our speeds proportionally and jumped. Just then a wall of ice erupted and the ground where we were an instant ago was also frozen over. We went flying to the wall with our respective dominant leg extended and slammed into it with full force.

Immediately the wall crumbled and we were shot outside. Behind us, a lot of the students were stuck in Shoto's trap, but still a few were coming out of the hole we had made. Most of the survivor's were from hero-course as well. Not giving it a second thought, Izuku and I dropped our speed but still kept it fast enough to catch up to Shoto.

When we did catch up to him we were in an open ground were the robots from the entrance exams were present. Likely the obstacle Ms. Midnight talked about. I glanced at the barely tired Shoto and back at the bots. I then formulated a plan.

I grabbed Izuku and threw him after a spin towards one of the 3-pointers. He immediately caught my intention and started somersaulting and delivered a spinning kick to it's head. The machine crumbled in a heap. Izuku launched off the head to gain momentum and cleared the entire first obstacle area in one jump. I used the gap created by him and deftly slipped past the 0-pointer that was coming in from the sides. Shoto, left in the dust had to face the monstrosity and he did so with a bang.

I saw what he sneakily did though. He froze the thing in a precarious situation that would allow him to go below it but crumple down and impede the others behind him. I gave him mental pats on the back for ingeniousness.

Ahead of me was Izuku and I was hearing bombs going of in the distance. Likely our resident Dynamite in first position. As I had said in the opening speech, I wanted Katsuki to lose, badly. For that I will be doing some sabotaging in his path. I picked up speed and shot past Izuku. At this point, no one was going to beat us either way, so why not have some fun with fire? As I shot past my brother, I sent him a challenging smirk. He sent on e back. It was on now.

I channeled even more chakra in my body and gain speed. He did the same with his quirk. In my estimation he was using 10% of it! We were really racing at this point. No more helping each other out. No more combo moves. Just pure, unadulterated race.

The next came the valley zone. We couldn't stop ourselves in time. So, instead of stopping I estimated the distance to the nearest ledge and jumped. Izuku copying me. Mid way in my jump I met Katsuki. He was unaware of our approach. I quickly tapped his head and grabbed control of his chakra, suppressing it to a minuscule amount. It will still allow him to jump from ledge to ledge, but he will be slowed down by a lot.

As he registered my love tap, he glared daggers at me and swung his arm in my direction. The explosion that was supposed to come didn't, due to me stopping it, and he started descending. Curses flew out of his mouth as he tried to steer towards a ledge. I allowed him to do so, I don't want him dead after all. He landed safely and screamed incoherently at my ascending figure.

After I had impeded Katsuki, I channeled my excess chakra into creating a hurricane to fly me to the end. Meanwhile, Izuku was trying to suppress his laughter as he jump over ledges, skipping many in each of his bounds.

We both landed on solid ground again. In the background Present Mic was saying something inaudible to us over the speakers. I ignored him as I stood up and smirked at Izuku again. He did the same and we were off without any word exchange.

As we approached the next obstacle area, which was a mine field, I felt dual nature chakra catching up fast. It was undoubtedly Shoto. Looking back, I saw him using his ice to make a sort of bridge to slide over the zip lines and the path after that. He was going all out, as well. Also, I had felt my grip on Katsuki's chakra slipping, probably because I was out of range. He was hot on Shoto's heels.

I turned my attention back to the obstacle area ahead. Feeling no chakra residue, I surmised the landmines were created without any quirk being directly involved. This posed a problem since I was just shy of the amount of chakra needed to make another hurricane. I used the remaining chakra to strengthen my legs at max capacity and leapt. A giant leap at that. Almost close to the end of the area. Unfortunately, landed on a mine and went flying again.

'Guess they weren't lethal mines.', I thought wryly and saw Izuku in a similar situation. I rolled upon landing and jumped again to clear the area. Air began to waft me with both hot and cold breezes. I looked back to see both Shoto and Katsuki right behind me. The latter was reaching out to me, obviously trying to blast me away. I dodged out of the way of the explosion that came and kept running upon landing on the path again. The finish line was at the other entrance of the stadium.

All four of us were in the last stretch. With each explosion, Katsuki was gaining the lead, and every time he did so, Shoto shot forward, overtaken by Izuku, then me. We were all fighting for the first place. An idea popped into my head. With the amount of chakra I had left, I could probably whip up one shot of air blast in an area-of-effect manner. I did so.

Unfortunately, only Katsuki was caught in it and went back several meters. Even though they weren't hit, Izuku and Shoto were at least stammered by the pressure. I seized the opportunity and channeled a lot of chakra into my legs and shot towards the finish line right at the entrance like a bullet.

This action of mine secured me the first place. Shots were fired from the poles that were holding the finish line ribbon as I slowly decreased my momentum. Coming to a full stop safely took me the entire stadium and still I was slammed into the opposite wall, denting and cracking it to my shape.

When I managed to peel myself of the wall, I looked at the wall. It had made a perfect mold of my figure. I remembered a few American Cartoons from pre-quirk era and chuckled at my handy work. Thanks to my body strengthening, I wasn't a red plaster on the wall. Though, the hair in the front of my head would disagree. My forehead was bleeding due to having my hair pulled out forcefully. I guess this is a small price to pay for the first place against the monsters of our class.

Suddenly, my body began to topple. It would seems I was out of chakra completely. Not even Nomu was able to expend all my chakra like this. I surrendered myself to my fate and let my body fall to the grass.

In a daze, I looked up to a shadow draping over me, asking if I was alright. It was Izuku. I gave him a thumbs up and joined my hands into a meditative sign. He got the message and stood back up. I let myself be taken away by the meditation and started getting back the chakra I had expended.

A few minutes later I was roused from my meditation by a medical personnel. They were dabbing my forehead with antiseptics and asking me questions. "You alright, son? That was one nasty crash I've ever seen. Blink twice if you are feeling okay.

Instead of doing as he told, I got up and looked at him. "I'm alright. Just need to generate some energy from the surroundings to heal myself."

The man looked a little skeptic so I explained myself. "My quirk is called Chakra. I'm sure you know what it means, right?", he nodded, I continued, "I can use that chakra to heal myself, if I can collect some from the environment, that is, which I was doing just now."

He seemed to understand me and backed off after stopping my bleeding forehead. I got into a crossed legged position and waved a hand over my head to let Ms. Midnight, who was standing on the platform, looking worried. She understood my message.

"It seems the first place, Sakazuki Reito is alright. Give him a round of applause, everyone!", she blared on the mic.

"What the heck are you feeding those students of yours, Eraser Head?", present mic asked Aizawa-sensei.

"That one is a special case. Somewhat crazy, the bad kind, and reckless to the bone. I'm glad he didn't hurt himself, though.", Sensei answered.

"Oho. Showing favoritism, are we?", teased the walking speaker.

"He is definitely my favorite, what's your point?", Sensei owned the slight diss and turned the table on his friend.

"Well… I though that was against the rules of teaching, you know.", retorted the walking speaker.

"I am not providing him with benefits or advantages. On the contrary, I am working him into the dirt everyday. The training I have him do can only be called torture by today's standards. Other students are getting way better treatment at my hands.", Sensei answered.

I would have guessed this might become a PR problem in the future, but I know Sensei to not care about all that stuff. I tuned out their banter and looked around. At my right I saw an approaching figure of bright chakra. 'Ah, just the person I wanted to see right now.', I thought as I stood up.

Without missing a beat, Tooru-chan slammed herself into me, hugging me so tightly I couldn't breathe. I hugged her back to show I was alright. I could feel the cameras on us, but I ignored them.

"Why do you have to be so reckless!?", she practically screamed the question in my ear.

"Don't worry. I just overshot my mark, that's all.", I tried to placate her.

"That's all? That's all!? Do you know how worried I was there? For a minute I thought you were a goner!", she yelled after separating and shaking my shoulders vigorously. I couldn't help but find her antics cute and smiled. That ticked her off even more.

She shoved me back and turned around, crossing her arms over her chest. "If that's what you want, then fine! Go get yourself killed. See if I care!", she said and walked away hastily. I couldn't reach her in time so I settled for following her quickly, saying sorry over and over.

This fiasco had put a stop to everything. Ms. Midnight was waiting for the go-signal to continue the event. I finally managed to calm Tooru-chan down. I was currently hugging her tightly. The cameras were filming us all the while.

"I'm sorry. I won't do something this reckless for this event, I promise.", I said while separating from our hug. I had deliberately worded my promise like that because I can at least manage that. After that, there might be some situations that might require me to be reckless. I didn't want to break a promise to her. I just hoped she wouldn't pick up on that.

"Promise?", she asked with tear filled eyes.

'Yes!', I thought before speaking, "Promise."

She smiled while sucking in her tears… then swiftly moved in to kiss me. I didn't say anything, even though I knew we were being filmed live. I didn't want to ruin her moment. And it will give me future teasing material, or maybe a story to tell our children and grandchildren.

She separated, then realized what she had done. We were being broad-casted on the big screen and the crowd was going nuts over it. She looked around, horrified of the consequences, then looked at me. Her blush was only perceptible to me. So was her face, so I doubt people understood what actually happened. But judging by their cheers and yells, I guess they knew we were kissing.

Tooru-chan began muttering incoherent sentences and buried her face in my chest. I carefully took her to the walls and hoped the attention of the crowd will shift. Which, it did. When she finally calmed down, she looked at me accusingly.

"Why didn't you tell me?", she asked with a soft glare.

"I didn't want to interrupt your moment.", I said as I sat on the grass taking the wall's support. She followed me and sat down as well.

"A-anyway, are you feeling alright now?", she tried to dismiss the situation. I guess now wasn't the time to dwell on these distractions.

"Yes. I'm feeling fine. Just needs a minute to collect some chakra.", I told her.

"Alright. I will look after you while you meditate." she said and I complied.

"Folks, judging from the condition of our first place runner and the rather… ahem, confusing show of affection. It has been decided that a thirty-minute break is issued to the competitors. Please enjoy our wide array of stalls with delicious snacks and beautiful souvenirs. We will be back after the break.", Ms Midnight said over the speaker.

Our class approached us, minus Katsuki and Shoto. I only felt their chakras since my eyes were closed in concentration. I was able to make out their contortions so I surmised I had adequate amount of chakra back in store. As the others stopped in front of us, Tooru-chan stopped them.

"Please, don't disturb him. He's meditating.", she said to the confused classmates.

"Meditation? Would that really help him?", Mina asked.

I guessed that I won't be able to concentrate with them hanging around, so I opened my eyes to answer her. "Of course, Mina. Meditation allows me to collect chakra from the environment, which is basically my life energy. If I have enough of it I can shake off many injuries. This one is a trifle matter."

She made an "o"-face and nodded her head. "I get it. Sorry for disturbing you.", she said as I stood up, followed by Tooru-chan.

"Don't worry. I have enough to function properly.", I explained to her.

"You can use my shoulder to walk, bro.", Kirishima offered, which I happily availed as I threw my entire weight on him. He staggered but stood his ground.

"Thanks, bro. You're the man.", I praised his manliness, which he beamed at.

"No prob, bro. Let's get you to the prep room.", he said and all of us started walking to our destination.

"By the way, who came second? I didn't get to see the results on the screen.", I asked to no one in particular.

"It's a no-brainer, dude. Of course Izuku came second.", Kaminari answered me.

Izuku walked up to me and took my other arm on his shoulder. I thanked him with a nod. "Guess I messed up the event?", I joked.

"It's not a problem, Reito. Your health comes first, after all.", Yaomomo answered me.

"To think you are more durable than concrete. You might make Kirishima jealous, kero.", Tsu added.

"Nah, bro was awesome there. Nothing shows manliness like caving concrete with one's face!", Kirishima replied. Though he meant it seriously, everybody couldn't help but laugh. "What!? I'm serious!", he exclaimed indignantly.

"Somehow, I don't doubt that.", Jirou answered him.

It took a little while for us to calm down. In the meanwhile, we reached our room. My bros laid me down on the sofa in the corner. I thanked them and asked for solitude. They complied and settled themselves on the tables around us. They were quiet enough for me to concentrate.

I went into my mind and expanded my chakra sensing range, it was far enough that I could feel the chakra around the stadium and the malls outside. I began absorbing the residual chakra in the surrounding and natural chakra in the plants and animals around. At this rate it will take me just about twenty minutes to fill my tank to full. I tuned out everything around me and concentrated on gathering the chakra.

When I next opened my eyes, I found myself being alone. I looked around the room but couldn't find anyone. I wasn't even able to sense any living thing around me. I felt well and truly blind. As I tried to walk towards the door, cracks started to appear below my feet. Those cracks were glowing in a yellow light. I hastened my pace. More and more cracks appeared as my feet hit the ground. I was just about to reach out to the door when ground crumbled below me. The room was filled with bright light.

When the light vanished, all I was able to see was darkness around me. I realized this was a dream. Maybe even a nightmare. I felt quite lucid, though. Maybe it is a vision of some kind? Just then I felt a hand on my shoulder. I quickly shook it off and faced the person in my battle ready stance. The person in front of me was a woman, seemingly in her late thirties. She was wearing a black one piece, skin-tight costume with a yellow belt, gloves and boots. Her skin was pale and hair were black. Her eyes exuded the aura of a battle-worn warrior. She was adorning a kind smile.

"Thank you.", she simply said, "For guiding our successor."

At that, a pair of light beams of soft intensity shot out from her feet diagonally behind her in opposite directions. From those, rose six dark humanoid figures and one bright yellow. The latter looked familiar to me but I couldn't place my finger on it. The whole scene looked like a team of super heroes assembling for a photo shoot from pre-quirk era comics.

I tried to speak but found no voice. I wanted to ask her what she meant by that, but couldn't. Her figure started to disperse in bright yellow smoke and the figures behind her did so as well. I felt myself being pulled in the upwards direction and began hearing someone chanting my name.

X-X

U.A, Stadium Alpha, Prep room.

"Reito-kun. Wake up! The break time is almost over!", I heard Tooru-chan's voice entering my ears. I slowly opened my eyes and looked at her worried face.

"Hey, good morning.", I decided to joke. Implying that I was indeed sleeping rather than having a vision. Not the time to get into explaining it.

"We don't have time for jokes. Come on, get up. The next challenge is being decided.", she said as she pulled me up. I let her drag me out of the door. "Are you feeling okay? How much chakra do you have?", she asked as we quickly made our way to the stadium ground.

"Perfectly fine. In case you haven't noticed, I have grown back my lost hair, despite very small size.", I answered her. She nodded her head in understanding. "Also, my chakra capacity is at it's maximum again."

"That's great, because you're totes gonna need it for next match.", she replied.

We stepped back into the grounds facing the stage. Ms Midnight had already spun the wheel of fortune. And it landed on Cavalry Battle just when we took our positions.

"It seems the next match is going to be Cavalry Battle. The rules for this are as follows.", she said pointing to the screen. It showed a picture of All Might riding a horse made up of Ms. Midnight in the front and Present Mic in the back. "You will be forming a chariot of no less than two people and a person riding the chariot will tie these headbands around their foreheads. All their points will be added and given to the rider. Even if your formation is dispersed, your match won't be over, but you will not be allowed to remake your cavalry again either. All of you have fifteen minutes to form your cavalry. So, make sure to give it your all. Plus Ultra!"

I was kind of surprised to find my name, which was at the top of the list, had a million points. Everyone was looking at me like I was the prime prey. I'm not going to lie, I was prime target with all the points I was given.

"Guess I'm stuck with you.", Tooru-chan said while hugging me from my side.

I was about to answer her when I felt two soft things pressing behind my back and two hands on the shoulder. Tooru-chan, who's hand was smothered between me and this disrespectful person, looked at the intruder with anger bubbling in her eyes.

"Mr. First Place, team up with me.", came the an abrupt voice from my shoulder. I turned my head towards the source and came face to face with a pair of yellow cross-hairs for eyes and pink hair covered by goggles.

"Can't you see we're having a moment here? Get off my boyfriend!", Tooru-chan growled and shoved the girl off me.

I finally got a better look at her. She was obviously from support course, judging by the plethora of small support trinkets she had on her and a large bag on her back. She was smiling. I quickly theorized that she just want to use me as a billboard to advertise her inventions. It ticked me off. I deftly grabbed her face and slammed her into the ground. Light enough not to hurt, but fast enough to discombobulate her.

"What are you doing, Reito-kun?", Tooru-chan asked me in a fear filled voice.

"Don't worry. I just want to teach this little shit some lessons in etiquette.", I said over my shoulder to her then turned my attention back towards my victim. I applied a little pressure on her face, enough that she could feel it steadily increasing.

"Now listen here, you idiot. Since you are from the support course I will tell you a little secret. You see, when you are a businessman or woman, the worst thing you can do is make your possible client uncomfortable with your antics. Right now, you interrupted my girlfriend and I. What makes you think I will even consider adding you to the team with your way of introducing yourself?". With each sentence I increased the pressure and she was now starting to feel the pain. Everyone around us was looking at me. Katsuki was smirking, I could tell even without looking.

I felt her chakra becoming weak. She was afraid. Good. "Learn some self control if you want to make it in the real world, because society has a way of teaching even more painful lessons to people like you. I'm going to release you now and you're going to apologize for your behavior and introduce yourself properly. Understand?", I asked while applying even more painful pressure. She must've felt like death was at her doorstep with the amount of pressure I was applying. She vigorously nodded her head.

"Good.", I said as I released her face from my death grip. I stood up and crossed my arms in front of my chest. She first sat down, breathing heavily, then staggered to her feet and bowed.

"I really, really sorry for my rudeness. Please forgive me." she quickly said and straightened up. "I-I am Mei Hatsume. I want to team up with you. Please.", she said with eyes boring holes into the ground.

I mentally patted myself for a job well done. But before I could answer a Ms. Midnight approached us, "What's happening here?", she asked sternly.

I remained calm and spoke, "She sexually assaulted me so I defended myself from her."

My response was not something she was expecting and turned to Tooru-chan for confirmation. "W-well, I can't say it isn't true, even if her intentions were different.", she said.

"I handled it, so you don't need to worry.", I said.

"Hmm. Make sure no more fights break out.", Ms. Midnight said and walked away.

Coming back to the matter at hand, I looked Hatsume in the eyes, "As much as I want to refuse you, I have need of your talents. So, you will only do what I tell you to otherwise I will knock you out 'til the remainder of the match.", I sternly said.

"Isn't that going a bit too far, Reito-kun.", Tooru-chan said from beside me.

"Of course not. We have to be careful with this nut job.", I said and turned back to the pinkette. "Do you have flying equipment that can sustain flight for the duration of the match? Even a glider will work."

"Y-yes, I have a Jet Pack I created. It has enough fuel to last a long while.", she summoned a fucking jet pack from her rather large bag.

"Great. Now I just need some cable.", I said.

"I've got you covered for that as well!", Hatsume said enthusiastically.

"Good. So, here's the plan. Tooru-chan will ride my shoulders and you will be flying. You have a non-lethal projectile we-", I was cut off by Hatsume as she waved her glue gun in front of me. "Right, as I was saying. Tooru-chan will be the rider on my shoulders, Hatsume, you will fly in the air, connected to my abdomen through that cable."

"Is that formation even allowed?", Tooru-chan asked pensively.

"They never told us what formation we should take. And ours won't break even if the cord is cut.", I answered her. Then went in to whisper in her ears, "Make sure to keep some distance between your crotch and my head. Sudden movement might hurt you."

When I backed up, she was red with embarrassment but nodded nonetheless. "Okay. Now, you understand your role, right?", I asked Hatsume who nodded in return. "Keep flying and give us cover fire from the air. I will be barreling through other teams while protecting Tooru-chan as much as I can. You will pick off the people that get through. Tooru-chan, remember what I said.", I finished off with deliberately reminding her off the embarrassing thing I told her. Her blush just looked cute to me.

We began making preparation and a few minutes later the teams were asked to be ready. A few moments later the match began.

I quickly gauged my opponents around me. There were four teams to look out for: 1) Team Katsuki, consisting of Katsuki, Mina, Kirishima, Sero and Sato, 2) Team Shoto, consisting of Shoto, Jirou, Yaomomo, Kaminari and Iida, 3) Team Izuku, consisting of Izuku, Ochako, and Tokoyami. And finally 4) Team Shoji, consisting of Shoji as the sole chariot, which was aloud for some reason, and Tsu.

All teams were looking well balanced. And all teams were gunning for us. Too bad I was going to bend the rules a bit in our favor. I signaled Hatsume and she took off into the air. Just when she reached the top, she started picking off opponents. She successfully glued everyone chariot's feet, except for Mina who used her acid to get out.

Instead of keeping my distance, I decided to charge into them. "Tooru-chan, lock your legs behind my back!", I ordered my girlfriend who complied swiftly. With our formation robust, I channeled chakra into my feet and slammed feet first into the wall that is Kirishima. This staggered the group but they remained standing. Katsuki made a grab for our headband but I kept Tooru-chan away from him at all costs.

Fed up of our games he tried to fly up and kick us into the ground but found his legs glued to his teammates. I made some distance from them and sent a smirk Katsuki's way. I was holding the headband that was supposed to be in his possession and gave it a whirl in my fingers. Earlier, when the Dynamite was distracted, I had sneakily grabbed his headband. He seethed at my taunt and tried to runs us.

I felt another few chakra signatures approaching us from behind. I turned on my heels and faced the new comers. It was Team Shoto. Iida was running the chariot all by himself while the rest were wearing roller-blades. They were fast approaching just like Team Katsuki. I channeled chakra into my legs once more and jumped just when the two teams were close enough to collide.

I landed a ways away from them and watch the show unfold. There formation still stayed strong but they had broken into a fight. From behind me I felt Izuku's chakra flaring. I turned my head to see his cavalry running towards us. Not missing a beat I went towards them. Tooru-chan was screaming for me to move slowly and grabbing my hair but I paid no heed. I was having too much fun.

When close enough to them, I channeled chakra into my hands and used my Air Style Jutsu to push them all back. But, as expected of my brother, he swerved his entire team around using Dark Shadow as a tether and Ochako's Gravity quirk as a booster. He then reached out for our headband.

Since I had imbued some chakra in our headband I was aware of it's position and deftly dodged Izuku. Then a long pink tongue came into view and I dodged that too. I surmised it was Team Shoji, where Shoji was acting as a tank, literally, and Tsu was inside his… shell(?) and using her tongue to steal other's headbands.

I will deal with them first. I changed my target and signaled Hatsume to do so as well. She littered the ground in front of the charging Shoji with glue. It did not slow him down but he was wasting precious momentum in dodging them. I capitalized on this opportunity and jumped over the glue covered ground and kicked the tank, hard enough the rattle the shell and discombobulate Tsu inside. It worked and the two fell over, breaking their formation. I ran past them, grabbed their headband and turned back towards Izuku, who was busy engaging a team consisting of the class 1-B students, and the blond idiot was the rider.

I changed gears and decided to help my bro out. I began to channel a whole other form of chakra through my body. This was something fierce, something primal, something hot. I felt fire building up in my mouth. I took in a lungful of air through my nose, kept it in and waited for the opportune moment. Then I let it rip. The stream of fire whooshed through the grassy terrain, it's target, the blonde rider. My goal was to singe the opponent team and make them create some distance between themselves and Izuku's team.

My display of yet another power up had the audience going crazy. Even my bro and his team was looking at me with wide eyes. I even felt Shoto's chakra flare in anger and Katsuki's in jealous anger. 'I wonder what's up with half-n-half.', I thought. His anger was something like vengeance or hatred. Then I realized his father was Endeavor and it all made sense instantly. 'Daddy issues.', I smiled at the notion.

Ignoring the flabbergasted expression on everyone's face I went in to grab the headband off of Izuku. I failed and had to dodge out of the path of an incoming Dark Shadow. Tooru-chan was using my head for support and doing her best to dodge and weave as well. I was kind of getting bored with the back and forth and requested timeout. Izuku stopped.

"Let's just fight others. We won't get anything done this way.", I said. Izuku reluctantly nodded. I sensed two teams coming for us. One was Katsuki's and the other was Shoto's. I decided to play around. I began circling just when Shoto created an ice-wall, separating Izuku and I. He then managed to cut my path off as well… with yet another ice-wall.

"Are you a fucking one-trick pony?", I yelled at him. Without missing a beat I sent a Pressure Wave towards them. It was dodged but they were right where I wanted them. The building chakra in my mouth was spewed out. Unable to change their momentum, they landed right in it's path. For an instant I felt the second nature of Shoto's chakra flaring up. It must have been true because the fire I had sent their way was dispersed swiftly and Shoto's left side was burning.

In this valley that we had created, we two teams were the only ones. It kind of felt like a cowboy face off from those way too old movies I watched. I cracked my fists at my sides and made a grabbing motion as if I had a pair of guns holstered at my hip. Shoto was cracking only his left fist which was burning with fire. I decided to rev him up even more.

"Hey, daddy issues! Is that all you got? Fighting at half strength because you don't want to be like your daddy? I saw what you did their with your flames, so you can't deny it. Come at me with your full strength, you coward!", my yells were audible, even to the silent audience. And I'm sure even Endeavor must have heard it as well.

"I see how it is…", was the response to my taunt. His fire began to die down. He was getting calmer, totally opposite of my intention. Well, guess I have to fight him after all. More importantly, I have been feeling free for the past minute or so. I look at the slackened bindings on my stomach and limply splayed cord behind me I realized that Hatsume was cut off from us, probably by his Ice-wall. I don't really care about her. We were wasting time. I charged towards him. We were just about to clash when the time was up and sirens blared.

"And that's times up, folks. It seems Mr. First Place, Sakazuki Reito, managed to keep his headband successfully. And not only that, but he also managed to take Team Bakugo's and Team Shoji's headbands as well. With this in mind, we shall take a look at the main screen for the results of this fantastic battle.", Ms. Midnight said.

The leader-board displayed each team's score. Ours was at the top, of course. Below us was Team Bakugo, surprisingly. Below theirs was Team Izuku, then Team Shoto, then Team Kendou, and finally Team Shisui. Apparently, Ojiro and Aoyama decided to team up with this no name. My suspicion alarm went off when I looked at Ojiro's eyes. They were dead. His chakra was calm, almost lifeless and it had a small bit of foreign chakra mixed in. I then looked at the apparent leader of their team. His chakra was calm as well, but undoubtedly it was his chakra that was messing with the other's minds. Every single one of his teammates was same, lifeless.

I would've confronted him, but remembered it's fair play. That guy used his quirk. And he was from general studies so I will give him a pass. I turned my attention back to the stage.

"The next match will be a one-on-one tournament. But before that, we will be holding various games for the competitors who didn't make the cut. I would request the teams that passed to clear the grounds.", Ms. Midnight blared.

There was some back and forth banter from Present Mic and Aizawa-sensei, but I never paid it any mind. They were always bickering to rile up the crowd. Well, it was more like Present Mic bickering and Sensei just blowing him off.

From the crowd of students, a hand rose. "Midnight-sensei, I would like to withdraw from the tournament.", came Ojiro's voice.

"What's the matter, young man?", she asked.

"It's nothing, just… I feel like I was sleeping through the entire battle. I don't remember a thing of it. I feel bad about taking something I don't even remember winning.", he explained.

"Alright then-", Ms. Midnight spoke before being cut off by two more voices of "I will withdraw as well."

"Well, it seems we are down three competitors. So, the matches for the first round of the tournament will be decided randomly. Lucky draw won't be used, unfortunately.", she said in mock dejection.

The big screen showed a tournament bracket. The first round was an eliminator. I mean, every round was an eliminator, but this one only consisted of four matches:

1) Shinso vs Aoyama.

2) Sero vs Shoto.

3) Eiiirou vs Testutetsu.

4) Kyoka vs Ochako.

Second round had eight matches:

1) Midorya vs winner of 1st eliminator.

2) Denki vs Iida.

3) Yaomomo vs Shoji.

4) Mina vs winner of 2nd eliminator.

5) Tokoyami vs winner of third eliminator.

6) Kendou vs Shiozaki.

7) Mei vs myself (Sounds more like "Me vs myself")

8) Katsuki vs winner of fourth eliminator.

After that, matches of the next round will be decided by the winner. There was a quarter final round, semi-final and final. It's quite a convenient set up for me. I will get to punish Mei rightfully in the ring, eliminate Katsuki, respectfully defeat Tokoyami and get myself in final against either Shoto or Izuku. And as planned, I will be fighting dirty. I will also help fellow combatants sneakily by giving them chakra to burn in their endeavor and last longer in a battle of attrition. Like I said, dirty.

After that, everyone began making their way towards their respective prep rooms. I was looking forward to the performance of the class during the various recreational activities in the stadium. Though I dreaded wearing a cheer-leading outfit. Oh well, just a small sacrifice to make my girlfriend happy, I guess.

As we were about to reach our room, Shoto whispered in my ears to meet him at the stadium entrance. I guessed he had something important to say. Hope it's not a love confession. That would be horrendous and funny at the same time.

I entered the opening to the outside from the stadium prep rooms. There, leaning against the door frame was Shoto and in front of him was standing Izuku. I rose one of my brow at the turn of events but sighed in relief when I realized this is not a love confession. I approached the duo.

"Yo! What's up Shoto?", I called out to him as I came closer. "Listen, bro. I didn't mean anything back in the Cavalry Battle. I just wanted to fight you at your best. Sorry if I stepped over a line."

He just looked at me blankly and nodded slightly. "Hmm. It's alright." he said and went back to staring at Izuku.

"So, why did you call us here?", I inquired further. Izuku hummed in agreement.

"You made me use my right side.", he said looking into my eyes then turned to Izuku, "And you, your quirk is very similar to All Might.", he explained.

Honestly, that wasn't enough of a reason for stopping us from stuffing our faces with snacks. I tried to ask for more but he cut me off. "As you may know, my father is Endeavor. He has a rivalry with All Might. He specifically created me to surpass the Symbol of Peace. I have no intention to do as he says. Instead, I will only use my left side, my mother's side, to beat you, Izuku.", he said in his monotone voice.

"I'm guessing your father specifically trained you to be better?", I said.

He simply shook his head before speaking, "Have you heard of Quirk marriages?"

"Yes, those were banned a few years ago. What's that gotta do with this?", Izuku asked.

"I see how it is, Shoto. But please, go on.", I told him.

"My father had influence, enough to get mother and her family to agree to such marriage. They had three children before me. My eldest brother, Touya, died due to my father's ambition. After that he turned to me. His abusive training was hellish.", Shoto took a breath. "One day, I overheard my mother talking to her mother. She said that she couldn't stand looking at my right side, she is afraid whenever she looks at me. When she caught me eavesdropping, don't know how it happened, but she poured boiling water on my face.", at this, Shoto placed a hand over his scar on the right side of his face.

"Oh… I c-can't imagine something l-like that. I-it must have hurt, i-in more ways than one.", Izuku said. I chose to remain silent and give Shoto as much attention as I can.

"Yes, and that was the last straw. Her sanity was chipping away as it was, because the abuse from my father wasn't just limited to me. This accident made him throw her in a hospital, away from me, away from his precious tool. My sister and brother did go to see her regularly, I didn't.", he finished his backstory.

To be honest, I feel his dilemma. I know what he is going through. It's just that, I have to help him. And for that, I can't be soft. He doesn't want sympathy or pity. He wants cold hard facts to tell him it's not his fault. Before Izuku could reply, I spoke up.

"Shoto.", he looked at me. "So, your mom, she had Ice related quirk?", he nodded. "And you claim that you got your left side from your mom.", he nodded again. "Well, to be frank, that's not your mother's power."

His eyes widened, but before he could retort, I spoke. "What I mean is, sure, you inherited her quirk. Same with your father's. But that is it. They just gave you power, it your choice whether you make it yours or not."

"What do you mean?", he asked me.

"Wh-what he means is that, that is not your father's power. It's yours. You shouldn't feel disgusted by what is yours.", Izuku explained for me.

"And regarding that incident.", I pointed at his scar, "What I can say with certainty is that your mother didn't hate you, she hates your father. And at that moment she only saw him, not you, when she tried to 'defend' herself.", I further explained.

Shoto remained silent for a few seconds. I walked up to him and placed a hand on his shoulder. "Besides, if you don't use all your power, someday you might endanger the people you are trying to protect. Using only one side in combat has it's drawbacks, doesn't it?"

"Yes.", he said simply.

"Is your defiance worth someone's life?", I asked again.

"… No.", he answered.

"Then, my friend, you have your answer. Whether or not you wish to rebel against your father, you have to do everything in order to protect the common folk.", I finished and took my hand off his shoulder.

"Reito is right, Shoto-kun. That power is not your father's, it's yours. Use it.", Izuku also gave his two cents.

The half 'n half teenager got off the wall and began walking outside towards the stalls. I decided to give him one more advice. "Hey, Shoto.", I called out, making him pause. "Go see your mother. It is good to clear things away instead of keeping your feelings bottled up."

He didn't reply, just began walking at a slower pace. I looked at Izuku. "Th-that was a little sad.", he said.

"It was. And bro-code suggests we should keep our traps shut about it.", I said.

"Don't have to tell me, buddy.", he answered.

"Come on. Others must be waiting. We have to do the Cheer-leading with the whole class.", I told him and we began walking back towards the prep room.
