Meredith entered the downstairs room seeing Addison crying uncontrollably and stopped.
"Addison?"
"What do you want, Grey?" Addison asked drying her face.
"I'm here cause... Well, I'm here..."
"Waiting for Derek."
"No, no" Meredith scratched the back of her neck and put her hands in the pockets of her lab coat "Yeah... Are you okay?"
"No, I'm not okay at all" Addison said rudely "I spent so much time letting it go, saying that I had time and now..." she said desperately in the midst of crying "Now I don't have time, I..." Addison sobbed "I just wish I could have a child and now I find out that I'm sterile, now that I have the time I've been looking for so much."
"Look... Nothing I say will help you, but there are so many other ways to be a mother."
"I know, damn it, I know" She sobbed "I just wish I could feel, be able to feel it inside me and it seems like this whole hospital is looking for me because of it, people finding out they are pregnant, babies being born, everything to show me that I'll never be able to live through this," Meredith sat down next to her and involuntarily hugged her.
"It's going to be okay," she whispered.
"I hate your optimism" Addison said looking into her eyes and only then did they realize how close they were.
Their eyes sought each other's lips and soon they were so close that they could only feel their lips crash in a kiss that started out so shy that anyone who saw it wouldn't say it would take on the intensity of the following minutes.
"They look for you, because you are the obstetrician" Meredith said as she pulled away to get some air, Addison looked her in the eyes without being able to contain her laughter.
"Shut up, Grey," Meredith laughed, kissing her back.
Addison headed for the bar door and stopped when she heard Meredith's voice.
"Are you leaving already?" Addison turned around clutching her purse and smirked.
"Yeah, I have to catch the plane" she turned towards the door, but took a deep breath as she approached "Look, now I go to the beach, I buy aromatherapy candles, I'm very zen, but me... I want to punch you so bad right now it's killing me."
"What?" Meredith asked in surprise.
"I'm talking about Derek, Derek Christopher Shepherd, are you going to let him go?" Meredith rolled her eyes as she looked away and looked back at her "No, because I swear to God Meredith that if you let him escape into that sly little woman's arms, I-"
"I let..." Meredith interrupted "I let you go, Addison" She said making the redhead shut up "That was what mattered and I lost you... I thought that kiss we gave when you came back from Los Angeles meant nothing, I tried to lie and I was sure of it until I met you this morning, the real fact is that I'm really not over that kiss and the other real fact is that I don't want to get over it."
"I... I don't know..." Addison e scratched the back of her neck, not knowing what to say.
"Let me take you to the airport."
"don't know if it's a good idea."
"We need to talk, about the kiss, about what we felt..." Meredith paused, taking a deep breath "I really want to talk about this."
"Everything..." Addison swallowed hard, Meredith nodded in response "Okay" Addison eventually gave up.
Meredith got up and followed her out of the bar, they got into the car in silence and Meredith started the engine, Addison just looked out of the car.
"You can-" "I can-" They said together.
"You go first," Meredith said.
"I was going to ask if I could turn on the car stereo."
"Of course, make yourself at home" Meredith responded and the silence between them reigned again "So... Do you intend to go back to work at Seattle Grace?"
"No, at least not at the moment, Los Angeles has its charm, I like it there" Addison said with a shake of her head "And how has work been?"
"Well, sometimes very hectic, but fine."
"You should go visit Los Angeles on a break" Meredith smiled in the corner and looked at her quickly "What is it?"
"Was that an invitation, Dr. Montgomery?"
"No."
"For me, that was an invitation."
"You're thinking too much, Grey" Addison said smiling.
"I think we can work."
"Even with the distance?" Addison asked looking the blonde in the eyes and putting a strand of her hair behind her ear.
"Even with the distance."
"Then I think we can work" Addison Smiled, Meredith smiled back and kissed her.
Meredith parked the car in a parking space and got out with Addison, they were a little way back from the airport entrance and the place was a little dark.
"What time is your flight?" Addison looked at the clock.
"An hour and a half to go."
"Perfect."
"Because?"
"Nothing much" Meredith said pulling her close kissing her slowly, Addison remained motionless for a few minutes, but soon she was corresponding.
She held the back of Meredith's neck giving her the requested passage into her mouth, their heads moved in sync, Meredith squeezed her around the waist turning her against the car a!er opening the back door, Addison fell lying down and pulled the blonde's blouse Up, Meredith closed the door, locking it, and lay down on top of the redhead.
In a few seconds their bodies were naked on the leather upholstery, Meredith's lips descended on the redhead's neck, sucking her skin slowly where time or another it deposited light changes making her gasp.
Addison moaned hoarsely when the blonde bit her lower thigh and then her groin, Meredith passed her nose over Addison's intimate completely soaked with the smell of the redhead's sex, took her clitoris with fury causing her to scream in surprise and pleasure, the redhead held her hair as she rolled involuntarily, until she relaxed completely, panting and between spasms.

That was the height of pleasure, she felt the blonde's body tremble over hers, both smiled.

"That sex, it was the best car sex of my life" Meredith laughed.

Meredith kissed Addison's lips as soon as they reached the departure gate.
"Call me when you arrive."
"Yes," Addison said kissing her again, they hugged and after a chaste kiss.
"You mean we're dating, Dr. Montgomery?"
"You didn't ask for it, Dr. Grey.
"Addison Montgomery" Meredith e said looking into her eyes "Before you run away from me through these gates and before I lock myself in my bubble of longing, do you agree to date this beautiful blonde with blue eyes."
"And very modest too" She mocked smiling "Yes, Meredith Grey, I agree to date you" They kissed again.
"Go, before I don't let you go" Meredith said giving the redhead another kiss.
Addison walked through the boarding gate with a smile that couldn't fit her lips.
As soon as she got on the plane, the redhead sat comfortably in her chair and faced the runway.
"Excuse me" A serious voice woke her up, Addison looked at the owner of the voice, seeing a handsome brunette with brown eyes.
"Make yourself at home," she smirked.
"I see I was lucky, I will sit next to a beautiful lady, Christian Salazar at your disposal" He said extending his hand, Addison took it giving a light squeeze.
"Addison Montgomery."
"Going to Los Angeles?"
"Yes."
"For work?"
"Coming home."
"What a coincidence, I also live in Los Angeles, came to Seattle for work?"
"Yes, sometimes I come."
"I would love to have your company whenever you come here" He said gallantly "Your husband must be jealous."
"No, I'm not married."
"A waste, a woman as beautiful as you being single."

Addison entered the apartment doors and left things behind as she walked towards the bedroom.

When she finished her shower, she dried her hair calmly while moving to the rhythm of the music that just echoed in his mind, so she put the dryer aside, headed for the bed and allowed her body to rest during the few hours she had to rest before from work.
The brightness of the Los Angeles sun penetrated the small opening of the curtain, directing itself to her face making her sigh as she stood up.
She repeated the whole process she did every morning and went to the clinic.
"Good morning doctor."
"Good morning Peter" Addison said smiling and went down the long corridor, entering Naomi's room "This morning was..." she sighed throwing herself on the sofa "Wonderful."
"You're too excited for someone who only slept a few hours, what did you get up to in Seattle, Addison?"
"Let's say I found someone again" Addison said playing with the chain that adorned her neck while biting her lips and staring at a blind spot.
Meredith walked down the hospital corridor, perusing the chart.
"Why did you disappear last night?" Cristina asked looking at her.
"Oh, I went for a walk." Meredith shrugged.
"That story about the handsome guy is messing with your head."
"I'm fine" Cristina stared at her "I'm really fine, in fact I want them to be very happy."
"I think this whole acceptance is pure bullshit."
"I'm fine," he repeated, leaning against the counter, "I do not know."
"Pay attention, three ambulances are arriving, all of them contain two victims of a car accident, the traumas are great, I don't want to talk, Grey, Yang, take the first ambulance, Karev come with me, O'Malley and Stevens , third ambulance together with Torres."
In a few minutes the ambulances were stopped in front of the hospital, starting a real apocalypse inside the place.
"Call Doctor Shepherd."
"Yes ma'am" One of the workers said as she hurriedly left the room.
Addison stared at the cell phone and put it aside, Naomi looked at her and returned her attention to the papers on the table.
"What do you look at in that cell phone?"
"I'm in doubt between calling or letting it go" Addison said letting out a big sigh then looking at her friend who was staring at her.
"What actually happened to you two?"
"We talked, we kissed..."
"And?"
"We had extraordinary sex in the car at the airport parking lot."
"And you left?"
"No."
"No?! Like this? What's going on that you didn't tell me?" Addison pursed her lips.
"I was asked to... Dating."
"You accepted?"
"Yes," she said indifferently and moving her fingers.
"How are they going to take this the distance?"
"Does he come here on weekends or do you go there?"
"It's actually a she and... I really feel like I'm going crazy for never having tried anything like this, but... I feel like we're going to be okay" Naomi looked at her in bewilderment.

"She caught me crying after I got back to Seattle to find out that she was no longer able to bear a baby, we talked and kissed, then I left just like that and yesterday, we talked and she said that she had already lost the baby. Meredith leaned against the wall with her hand in her lab coat pocket.
"You said you'd call when you arrived," Meredith said in rebuke.
"I arrived so tired and I know I was too, so I went to sleep."
"Are you at work?"
"Yes and you?"
"Yes, I got out of surgery a few minutes ago, so I decided to call."
"Me too... I was thinking of calling" Addison scratched the back of her head "I was just wondering... If it was a good time ..." Meredith smiled.
"Want to see you."
"I'd love to see you too" Naomi rolled her eyes, going back to work "Are you finished with your shift today?"
"Yes."
"I promise to call you at dawn, I know how quiet it gets."
"I will love for your call."
"You know what I would love more than calling you?" Addison asked with a sensual voice, Meredith smiled already imagining what it could be.
"No, what?"
"Repeat what we did at night," she said biting her lips "Only in sequences."
"What kind of sequence?"
"Sequence of hours," Meredith smiled, biting her lip, and looked down.
"Doctor Grey, the post-op patient has just had a seizure."
"I'll call you later" Meredith said hanging up without waiting for an answer.
Naomi served them with a glass of wine and sat down opposite her friend who was enjoying some grapes.
"It's so strange to see you in love after so long," Addison laughed.
"I won't deny it, I think I'm falling in love or I've been in love for a long time and I never realized it."
"How long have you known each other?"
"I think two to three years ago," Addison shrugged.
"So I don't know her."
"No" she said shrugging and putting a grape in his mouth.
"And when will I be able to?"
"Why all this curiosity?"
"Because for the wonderful things that woman has done to you, she deserves an award" Addison rolled her eyes drinking her wine.
"Don't be annoying, I think you're jealous."
"I am surprised, very surprised, I never imagined Addison Montgomery with a woman, much less in love with one."
"She is different, or I changed for her and only realized it now."
"You're scaring me" Naomi said drinking the wine, Addison laughed "But I'm happy for you, if you think you can be happy even with the distance, I believe in you and support you twice as much" She continued taking the her friend's hand and squeezing it, Addison smiled looking into her eyes.
"Thank you Naomi, really, thank you so much, I'm still freaked out by all of this, it still hasn't dawned on me that I'm in love and dating a woman, much less this woman."
"What do you mean, much less this woman?" she asked raising her eyebrow.
"You will know soon" Addison said smiling in the corner.
"I can't stand all this mystery."
"It started today, don't be dramatic, but now tell me how your date went yesterday" Addison said eating more grapes.
"You are trying to change the subject."
"No, I want to know if my friend's sex was as good as mine" Addison said drinking.
