The days of bedtime readings and pretend pirates have long gone away. Back when Sherlock was the center of his big brother's universe, things were simpler. And though he had often hoped and pleaded (and sometimes prayed) for that closeness to be restored, this was not the way he'd imagined it happening.

' i'm not gay ! ' john watson constantly proclaims. he isn't, not really. but sherlock holmes isn't ordinary, really. as deductive as the detective may be, he doesn't know that john holds a quiet love, reserved just for him, inside his heart. john doesn't know either.

In the middle of solving a case, Sherlock breaks down. Of course, John is here to comfort him.

A week into Sherlock's rehab, all of his entourage is taking turns to look after him. One night comes John's. And he decides that he can no longer remain silent about what happened in that morgue.
