Chapter twenty: leave me alone
Amira was the eldest. It was also only logical that she would take care of the noisy siblings. And she was very partial. So she treated everyone like Lori, but preferred Lincoln. This is how the two played video games.
"What? You won?" Lincoln asked in surprise.
"Look Lincy, I'm a gamer too. A good one at that."
"And I taught you that game…damn it." Lynn walked into the living room.
"What? You two are having fun here while we have to stay in our rooms? At least Lori treaded us equally. But I don't get it why mom and dad gave you the command over us."
"First, im the oldest one. Second, they are both away. Your mother babysits someone with Alison. And your father is somewhere I don't know. Thirth, I also tread Lori like you and your sisters." Amira said.
"I wasn't the one who run away to a hotel." Lincoln said.
"Be careful what you say stinkin!" Lynn said angry.
Amira stood up. She felt angry.
"Don't you ever call him like that!"
"Or what?" Amira grabbed Lynn by the collar and lifted her up.
"I don't need words to tell you that."
Lynn raised her fist and hit Amira on the chin.
"You mother..."
Amira let Lynn fall down. Lynn hit Amira again. Amira fell down, and hit her head on the little table. Amira fell unconscious.
"Oh my god." Lincoln said shocked.
"Is she alive?" Lynn asked shocked.
Lincoln went to Amira.
"She breathes."
Amira opened her eyes. She saw everything blurry. But she saw everyone but Lincoln standing around her.
"Where am I?" Amira asked confused.
"In the living room." Rita said.
"Where is Lincoln?"
"In his room. But he doesn't want to get disturbed." Lynn senior said.
"Keep joking." Amira went up the stairs.
She entered Lincoln's room. Hey yelled at her.
"Get out!"
"Is something wrong Lincy?" Amira asked shocked.
"Yes! You are here!"
"Why?"
Lincoln stood up and was looking threatening at Amira.
"Because you are toxic! Because you are the worst sister for your brother I could imagine! You are the worst person I know!"
"But Lincoln. I love you."
"You don't deserve my love!"
Amira felt a sharp pain. Everything began to get black. And she felt like she was falling. And then there was just deep, dark black.
Amira woke up. Two paramedics were standing next to her.
"Don't move. We are almost done."
"Where am I? And what are you doing at my temble?" Amira asked.
"You hit your head and need stitches."
"It was Lynn who hit me."
"The brown haired teen?"
"Yes." I heard what she said. She called us."
Amira felt a tug on her temple and the paramedics stood up. Amira gave the two all the data they needed, and then the paramedics left the Louds' home. Amira went to Rita.
"How long was I knocked out?" Amira asked.
"Around an hour."
"I had a weird dream."
"What dream?"
"Lincoln yelled at me and said I was the worst."
"Amira, no offense, but you're just not grown up. You are hostile to your own brother. You told me Lincoln was your first boyfriend. I'm sure you don't know what love is. 'Cause what's between you and Lincoln isn't love. I've known that for a few days."
Amira thought about it. And unfortunately Rita was right.
"You're right. I don't know."
"It's better if you split up."
"Yes. Probably."
Amira went to the door. Lincoln ran to her.
"There you are."
Lincoln hugged Amira.
"I need sleep. I feel so tired."
"We can share my room." Lincoln said.
"No."
"What? Why not?"
"I want to sleep in my own room."
Amira left the house and went into the garage. She lay down on her bed and noticed Lincoln next to her.
"Are you feeling okay?" Lincoln asked.
"No." Amira answered.
"I'm sorry about Lynn. She has gone to far."
"No. It wasn't Lynn. I have gone to far."
"What do you mean?"
"Our relationship. This went way to far."
Lincoln got shocked.
"No. Please don't do this to me."
"Please don't make it extra hard for me."
"Why? Please don't make this. I beg you."
"Because I don't deserve your love, Lincoln... I'm the worst girlfriend in the world... The worst daughter in the world... And the worst sister in the world... Our love has to end..."
Lincoln hugged Amira's waist.
"Don't leave me! I can't be without you!"
"No Lincoln. These three months were a big mistake."
"Please Amira!"
"I'm sorry Lincoln."
Amira hugged him back. But she knew that this didn't made anything better.
"Are we still close friends after you brake up with me?" Lincoln asked while sobbing.
"I don't know Lincoln."
At the same time, Alison and David were finishing dinner. It was nine o'clock in the evening. The two got up from the table.
"That was a more or less nice dinner." Alison said. "I agree. That was good."
"At least we were able to cook."
"Yeah. Why did Rita have to leave that early?"
"Someone hit their head or something."
"Oh. I hope everyone is okay."
"I hope so. Oh, it's late. You should go to sleep."
"Oh. Okay. I was hoping we do something together but this is fine."
David went to his room. Alison walked into the living room and sat on the couch. Two hours later, just before midnight, David's mother came home.
"How was it with David?" David's mother asked.
"It went good. I can't complain."
"That's nice to hear."
"Yes. But he ate way too much."
"Oh my god, he will get a heart attack if he continues with eating that much." David's mother said and got angry.
"Okay. I should go home now. So, bye."
"Bye."
Alison left the apartment and headed home, thinking about what Rita had mentioned.
"Who hits their head at the Louds? Should I go to them? Nah, isn't so important for me."
It had been the same in the Louds' garage for two hours.
"Please! Don't leave me!"
"Lincoln you beg me since two hours. It's ending here."
Amira picked Lincoln up and carried him to his room. She put him on his bed, but he immediately got up and clung to Amira's legs.
"No Lincoln. It's over."
Amira took Lincoln and loosed his hands.
"Please don't make it harder than it already is." Amira said.
"Is there any chance you become my girlfriend again?" Lincoln asked begging.
"We see. Wait seven years."
Amira closed the door and went to the garage. She stopped in front of the garage. Amira turned around, walked onto the street and walked to Flip's gas station. She entered the gas station, took a bottle of vodka and paid at Flip. Amira noticed how Flip had dollar signs in his eyes. Amira left the gas station and drank from the bottle. She ran back and kept drinking. She noticed how difficult it was for her to walk. She entered the garage, put the bottle with Vodka on the bedside table and lay down.
"Why is this bed shaking like a ship?"
Amira took the bottle and took another sip.
"Facking shit. That word day evr. I nid mor Ruski drink."
Amira drank another sip of vodka.
"But iz for Linky's best. Im a bitsch."
Amira put the bottle back on the dessert and fell asleep intoxicated. When she woke up in the morning she felt her head hurt.
"Oh hell. Is that how Russians feel every morning?"
Lincoln entered the garage with a plate of pancakes with maple syrup.
"Hi. I m-made pancakes for you." Lincoln said quietly.
"Lincoln, I don't want breakfast. And you shouldn't be here. We broke up."
"Just because we broke up, doesn't mean I'm forbidden in my garage."
"Do you really believe what you say?"
Lincoln started crying.
"No! I miss you!"
"Lincoln you torture yourself. Go to your sister Lori or Leni. Just let me alone. It's better for you and for me."
Lincoln put the plate on the floor and left the garage.
"I feel bad for him. I need more vodka."
Amira took another sip of vodka. Lincoln went into Loris room.
"It didn't work." Lincoln said sadly.
"Lincoln, I think you both need time for yourself." Lori said.
"It makes sense. It hurts me more when I see her then when I think about her."
"Yes. Try to make things you like."
"I should. Thanks Lori." Lincoln and Lori hugged.
"No problem Lincoln."
Alison woke up in the morning. She wanted to get up, but she had great difficulty. "Mom! Mom!" Constance ran into ln Alison's room.
"What's wrong?" Constance asked panicked.
"Help me get up please." Constance helped Alison get up.
"Thanks mom. By the way, I heard that someone hits their head at the loud house. Do you know something about it?"
"No. I didn't see Rita for months."
"I want to go and see what is going on."
"I come with."
"Nah. I go alone."
"Okay. But be careful."
Alison took clothes and went to shower. An hour later she was at the Louds' front door and rang the bell. Lynn junior opened the door.
"Oh. You!" Lynn said mad.
"Don't start with that." Alison said.
"With what. That you steal our mother again?"
"I'm not here because of this. Rita told me someone hits their head. Who?"
"Uh. I don't know." Lynn said nervously. Rita stepped out from behind Lynn junior.
"Don't get upset again Lynn. Go out of her way please." Rita said.
"Okay mom." Lynn stepped aside.
"We have nothing to do today. But come in."
Alison entered the house.
"Okay. So why are you here?" Rita asked.
"You said someone hits their head. Who?"
"Go in the garage. But it looks horrible.
"What do you mean?"
"Go take a look."
Alison left the house and entered the garage. She looked at Amira who was a drunk wreck.
"Oh my god! What are you doing?" Alison asked shocked.
"Bvoke up with Linkoln. But vodka maks me happi."
"Did you say that you broke up with Lincoln?"
"Yes. Thaz why i drink Vodka."
"That was the right decision. You are too old for him."
Amira got angry.
"You ar such a facking bitch! I loved him so much!"
"Let's be honest! The relationship between you and Lincoln was sick!"
"No it wasn't!"
"Yes! You are a pedo!"
Amira slapped Alison hard in the face. Alison almost fell to the ground.
"How… why do you attack a pregnant girl? You monster." Alison said, becoming sad and angry.
"That should teach you a lesson. Don't you ever say I don't love him."
Alison left the garage.
"Fucking bitch! How dare she to slap me!"
Rita didn't notice any of this. She was in Lynn junior's room with Lori and Leni and rebuked Lynn.
"You are so grounded young lady! We taught you to solve problems with words and not with fists!" Rita said.
"I just proved a point of their relationship."
"You injured her that much so you needed to call an ambulance!"
"She got what she deserved."
"No it's not!" Lori said.
"Shame on you!" Leni said.
"You are grounded for one month!" Rita said.
"One month?!"
Rita, Lori and Leni left Lynn's room without another word. Lynn lay down on her bed in despair. Until Leni came back a few minutes later.
"I'm sorry for being mad at you." Leni said.
"Why?" Lynn asked.
"I don't like it to be mad at someone."
"You are so weird Leni."
"That's not nice. But I can't stay mad at you."
"That's partly what makes you weird."
"Oh. But I don't like it to be mad at someone."
"Leni, I appreciate what you want to do for me. But leave me alone please."
"Okay. Just say if you need something."
Leni left Lynn's room. Leni left Lynn's room and was about to go to her own room when she heard Lincoln crying in his room.
"Huh, what's that?"
Leni looked through a crack in his door, and saw Lincoln lying on his bed crying. That hurt Leni's heart. She entered his room and hugged Lincoln.
"Don't be sad lincy. Your big sister is here."
Lincoln turned, looked at Leni and hugged her around her waist with his head on her chest.
"Leni. I miss her." Lincoln cried.
"Aw. Im here for you."
"Thanks."
"No problem. I'm here for you."
"How do I continue to live without Amira?"
"I don't know Lincy."
"Would you be happy if I would be your girlfriend?"
"Ewww! No! You are my sister!"
"But I have the same colored hair like Amira."
"You are my sister!"
"You are right. Ronnie Anne is a better choice for you."
"Yes."
Lincoln said tearfully. At the same time Alison entered her home. Constance saw her from the living room and ran to her.
"What the hell happened to your cheek?" Constance asked
"Amira slapped me."
"I saw something like years ago when I was a cop. Domestic violence."
"What do you mean?"
"When people who live together hurt each other. I once was called a lot to an address with the code for Domestic violence, 273D. We always had to leave because the woman said it was nothing. And the last time we were called to the address, another, different code was radioed to us. 187."
"What does that mean?"
"Murder."
"Oh my god."
"Where is this Amira?"
"At the Louds. She lives there."
"You stay here!"
Constance left the house. At the Louds' house, Constance pounded on the front door. Rita opened it and didn't understand the world anymore.
"What the hell went in your head to do this?" Rita said.
"Where is Amira?!"
"She is in the garage. Why do you ask?"
Constance walked to the garage. She banged at the garage door. "Open juice bag!" The garage door opened.
"What zhe hell is going on there?"
Constance tackled Amira like a cop. Amira didn't know what happened.
"What? What happened?" Amira asked, beyond shocked.
"Oh my god you are really drunk!" Constance said angry.
"Yes I am drunk!"
"Okay. Then I tell it to you appropriately for someone drunk!"
Constance started shaking Amira.
"If you ever touch my daughter again you will go to jail!!!"
"Yes."
Constance let her go and walked away. Rita in the house didnt even ask what was going on. She wanted to go upstairs, but Lincoln came to her.
"What happened mom?" Lincoln asked.
"I don't really know. But Constance was mad at Amira."
"Why."
"She said nothing to me."
Lincoln runned in the Garage, and saw the drunk amira smoking on her bed.
"What did I say three times about smoking?" Lincoln said.
"Shut up. You are not my boyfriend anymore." Amira said quietly.
"Stop Smoking!"
"No! Get out!"
"What's that weird smell?"
Lincoln took the bottle wich was next to Amira.
"Is this alcohol?" Lincoln asked.
"What else should it be?"
"Why do you drink alcohol?!"
"Because I feel pain from our brake up!"
"That's why shouldn't have broken up."
"No. It's because I'm a pedo. It's because I'm toxic. You won't get happy with me."
"Is this the reason you fell in love with me?"
"I dont know. The Love I felt was real."
Lincoln looked at the floor, and slowly walked out of the garage.
"How do I live without her being my girlfriend? I love her so much."
Constance entered her Home. Alison sat on the couch in the Livingroom, and typed on her phone.
"What happened mom?" Alison asked.
"I teached her a lesson."
"How?"
"Don't worry about that."
"Every time you say that I start worrying."
"You don't have to."
"What did you do?"
"I showed her what people deserve who commit domestic violence."
Constance sat on the couch. She looked like she was thinking.
"You work hard, see the worst type of people in Royal Woods, like junkies, criminals, rapists, psychos… I don't really remember why I have chosen this job. But it was not the wrong decision."
