Chapter 27: Nathan vs Sun
The next day, Nathan and Blake's room, 23rd April 16 BBY, 8:30 am…
The first thing Nathan saw as he awoke from his slumber was a pair of beautiful amber eyes staring back into his with nothing but love radiating from them.
"Good morning, Nathan…" Blake said softly, a warm smile crossing her face.
She was straddling him, still clad in a top and her panties, the slightest hint of midriff bared to him.
"Morning, Blake…" Nathan replied, sitting up in bed, letting his hands settle on her hips. "Sleep well?"
Blake nodded. "Given what happened last night… I… slept better than I could have hoped to."
Thoughts of the brawl with Kanan threatened to fill Nathan with anger again, but he resisted the urge, replying: "Good." Giving Blake a smile.
Blake sighed. "Anyway… what's on the agenda for us, today?"
"I thought we agreed last night we'd be grabbing a pregnancy test…" Nathan replied gently, pressing a hand to Blake's belly. "So we can know for sure."
Blake smiled and tucked a stray hair out of her face. "Good." She said softly, before wrapping her arms around Nathan's neck.
Nathan responded by wrapping his arms around Blake's back, and pulling her closer as their lips met in a soft, gentle kiss.
Allowing himself to fall backwards, Nathan came to rest on his pillow, holding the love of his life close until the kiss was broken.
Their eyes met once again, before Blake then cuddled up to Nathan, sighing contentedly.
Nathan made no effort to stop Blake, holding her closely as he began to gently stroke Blake's hair.
A happy sigh escaped Blake, laying her head on Nathan's chest, in a position where Blake could easily listen to Nathan's heartbeat.
Planting a kiss on Blake's head, Nathan allowed himself to relax once again. Everything was starting to fall into place for him, and he couldn't be any happier than he already was.
Unless Blake told him two special words he'd been eagerly anticipating hearing for the past few weeks.
Kanan's bedroom…
The lack of warmth was the first thing Kanan noticed as he awoke.
The second was that he heard no sign of the shower running, nor the telltale signs that Yang was in there with him.
And the third was the man stood at the foot of his bed: Jason.
"Come to give me your own lecture?" Kanan asked resignedly. "I've already had Yang break up with me; and suffered one of Nathan's tongue lashings whilst with a gun to my head since he threatened to stage me committing suicide."
"Count yourself lucky, then." Jason replied. "Because last time I spoke to him, Nathan was still debating whether or not to actually do it."
Kanan sighed as he looked around, saying: "So… am I allowed out of these cuffs, or is that not allowed?"
Jason nodded. "Nathan told me the reason he choked you out was to make sure you didn't just bide your time before going off to try and drag Blake off again. So… until you're not thinking about doing so; which I can sense you are, so don't lie to me about that, you're staying confined to this room."
Kanan groaned as he lay his head back, saying: "Can I at least go to the bathroom? Take a shower?"
"Before we do anything like that; Nathan told me to tell you something." Jason declared.
"What was that?" Kanan asked.
"He told me to tell you that if you even breathe a word of this to your parents or Kali once they arrive here with the White Fang; he will kill you. And probably stage your suicide while he's at it." Jason folded his arms. "To this day; I've yet to meet a man who's pissed Nathan off this much. But… there's a first time for everything, I suppose." Stepping forward, Jason then added: "Anyway; let's show you to the bathroom. Don't bother trying anything; because I'm not going to be gentle about dragging your ass back to this bed if you do."
Kanan sighed as Jason uncuffed him from his bed, sitting up and rubbing his wrists to get some semblance of blood-flow back into his hands.
"Bathroom. Now." Jason said firmly.
Kanan sighed as he climbed out of bed, and slipped into the bathroom, hearing the door close behind him. Lowering his bottoms, Kanan began relieving himself, bowing his head as he reflected on what had happened in the last twenty-four hours.
His mistake had ruined his life. And now he faced an uphill battle to repair what he had broken.
Later that day, in town…
"Remind me why you're planning on getting three pregnancy tests, Blake?" Nathan asked. "Surely one will do just fine."
A gentle giggle escaped Blake as she replied: "If it makes you feel better; my mom took five pregnancy tests when she was pregnant with me. It's just to make sure I'm actually pregnant. I want to be sure, Nathan. Because I know how badly you want this."
"Yeah…" Nathan replied, pulling Blake close. "Just a matter of finding a pharmacy that serves faunus. Which seeing as we are in Mistral; is easier said than done."
Blake nodded with a sigh. "Well; there has to be at least one here in Mistral. Even if it's not very good; then it's something. And if needs be, you can go and grab them while I wait outside out of sight."
Nathan frowned. "Or I could use a Jedi mind trick on the clerk to convince him to serve you. Racists usually aren't the sharpest tools in the shed anyway."
Blake giggled. "Would have thought you'd recycle the White Fang joke you cracked when we were searching for my prom dress."
Nathan shook his head. "That joke became old the moment the White Fang became our allies and gave Adam the boot. Unless you want to call up Adam and offer him a booty call in exchange for him torching every racist pharmacy here in Mistral."
"No thank you…" Blake responded. "I'd sooner stuff barbed wire up my snooch."
Nathan snorted with laughter at that visual, saying: "Please don't…"
Blake smiled and leaned in to Nathan, planting a gentle kiss on Nathan's cheek. "Don't worry. Besides, according to Kanan, he was certain there was a pharmacy that served faunus in this area."
"Let's just hope it doesn't double as an abortion clinic." Nathan murmured.
Blake flashed him a look, and Nathan held his tongue as they rounded a corner. "Oh, here it is!"
Nathan glanced up towards what Blake was gesturing to, and smiled.
Sure enough, a pharmacy stood a few feet away from them.
And thankfully, there was no sign saying: 'NO FAUNUS' like a big flashing neon sign outing the owner as a massive racist prick.
Blake then looked back at Nathan, saying: "Wait here. I'll be back soon."
Nathan nodded, and pulled Blake into a chaste but loving kiss.
Breaking the kiss, Blake turned and headed into the pharmacy, leaving Nathan alone.
Thankfully, not for seven months, this time.
Ten minutes later…
"And… done." Blake said.
Nathan glanced up and smiled as Blake approached him, now carrying a small plastic bag.
"I decided to grab one each of the three best brands." Blake explained. "It'll make for a more accurate result."
"You really want to make sure you're pregnant, aren't you?" Nathan asked, pulling Blake close.
"All so I can tell you you're gonna be a daddy." Blake replied, wrapping her arms around Nathan's neck.
Leaning in, Nathan kissed Blake, holding her close as he ran his hands up and down Blake's back, cheekily reaching down and giving Blake's butt a solid squeeze.
A half-gasp, half-squeak escaped Blake as she broke away, shaking her head. "Already suggesting a plan for when we get home, are we?" She asked.
Nathan smirked. "Do you agree with my proposition?" Nathan asked coyly.
"Once I've taken the tests, yes." Blake replied, pulling Nathan into another kiss.
Breaking that kiss, Nathan nodded. "I can agree with that. Then I can hear you say the two words I've been dying to hear exit your mouth for nearly a month."
A frown then formed on Blake's face, as she said: "Yeah… about that…"
"What is it, Blake?" Nathan asked.
Blake sighed. "I… I'm planning to wait until after the battle to tell you that I'm pregnant."
Nathan's face fell, understanding precisely why Blake would want to wait to do that. "You're scared I won't survive." He remarked.
Blake wordlessly nodded, meeting his gaze with eyes that were brimming with tears.
The sight was all Nathan needed before he pulled Blake into a warm, loving hug; letting her nestle into his embrace as he said: "Blake… I promise you, I will walk out of this upcoming battle alive. The knowledge you could be carrying my child is all the motivation I need to make sure I survive this battle."
Blake took a deep breath, and broke away from Nathan. "I know." She replied, pulling Nathan closer.
Nathan leaned in and kissed Blake once more, pulling Blake closer as he deepened the kiss. Until:
"You two are still together?!"
Nathan and Blake broke the kiss and glanced over at the speaker, and Nathan scowled at who it was:
"Sun!" Blake called out, a large smile crossing her face as she came over to Sun, hugging him. "I haven't seen you in forever! How have you been?"
"Definitely been better." Sun said, meeting Nathan's gaze as he extricated himself from Blake's embrace. "Especially since I now know you two are still together."
Blake stepped away from Sun, and looked between Nathan and her friend, asking: "Is… there something I'm not aware of going on here?"
Nathan sighed. "Sun here is still salty over what happened between you and me during the Vytal Festival. Thinks you should have ditched me and kicked me to the curb."
"Damn right." Sun spat. "Blake deserves better than you, and you know it."
"And who's that?" Nathan fired back, stepping closer to Sun. "You? And I thought we had an understanding back at the dance that you wouldn't get between me and Blake being together."
"That was then, this is now." Sun responded. "Before I found out Blake's still dating you, when there are better men out there who can take care of her."
"Sun, stop it." Blake said, stepping between Sun and Nathan. "Nathan has long since apologised to me for that incident, and we've not had an issue like it since. That is why me and Nathan are still together. We've worked past our problems as a couple and pushed through them. I appreciate the concern about me Sun, but please respect that me and Nathan are together, and very much plan on staying that way."
"Doubtful." Nathan said. "You're talking to a guy that told me he wished I'd actually been killed at Beacon by the Baron."
"Yeah." Sun replied. "And I still think he should have made doubly sure you were-"
THWACK!
The slap echoed around the area as Sun staggered back, looking shocked and maybe a little hurt.
"How… dare you!" Blake snarled, retracting her hand. "Do you have any idea what I went through following that night? Months of sleepless nights, nightmares, and crying myself to sleep because I had no idea if I would even see Nathan again! So don't you dare say he should have been killed at Beacon! All because I chose him over you? Sun… I've always thought of you as a friend. Maybe… once upon a time, I thought of you as more, but then I realised who my heart truly belonged to. There are better girls out there for you than me, Sun. You just need to look."
Nathan watched as Sun bowed his head, not meeting Blake's gaze. He could swear Sun was looking at the bag containing the pregnancy tests Blake had just bought, but decided not to say a word.
Until:
"I get it. You're staying by Nathan because you'll lose out on child support from your baby daddy if you leave him." Sun snarled. Backing away, Sun added: "If I'd known you were such a fucking slut; I wouldn't have even bother-"
"You take that back right fucking now!" Nathan snarled, stepping between Sun and Blake and squaring up.
"Get your fucking hands off of me!" Sun yelled, shoving Nathan back before then hurling a right hook at him.
Nathan instinctively blocked, countering with a quick right hook to Sun's face, followed by a left jab across Sun's jaw, knocking the monkey faunus back. "Take. That. Back." Nathan said firmly.
Sun's response was to lunge at Nathan, leaping onto him in an action that sent both men sprawling.
Getting to his feet, Nathan was greeted with a right hook that glanced across his cheek, alongside a left uppercut that sent him back several paces. Shaking his head to clear it, Nathan saw Sun preparing to land the spinning back kick Nathan favoured so much, and rolled underneath it to avoid the attack, countering with one of his own, only for Sun to catch it.
Nathan then felt his other leg being swept from beneath him, grunting as he hit the floor hard. Regaining his equilibrium just in time for Sun to start bringing his foot down to stomp Nathan into the asphalt, Nathan rolled out of the way, and used the Force to pull Sun closer, connecting with that spinning back kick and knocking Sun flat on his back.
Stepping closer, Nathan made to repeat his demand for Sun to apologise for what he said to Blake and take it back, only for Sun to roll backwards onto his feet, and press his hands together as if in prayer.
Moments later, two clones of Sun appeared on either side of him and dashed towards Nathan.
They were easily dispatched by Nathan, who took a moment to compose himself before something hard and thin cracked him across the face.
Stepping back, Nathan noticed that Sun had now brandished his quarterstaff, which Nathan knew could separate into two separate gun-chucks named Ruyi Bang and Jingu Bang.
Sighing, Nathan took his lightsaber from his belt, and ignited it. The blue blade flashed to life as Nathan then dashed forwards, ready to force an apology out of Sun.
Meanwhile, with Jason…
"You did not!" Emerald said between laughs.
"I damn well did." Jason responded. "Well; me and Ahsoka damn well did. See; Nathan was being a right ass to both of us, pranking us relentlessly. And we were getting tired of it. So one night while he was sleeping; me and Ahsoka crept into his quarters. I will add Ahsoka was barely wearing anything."
"If a thong and a black lace bra counts as barely anything." Ahsoka added as Jason then said:
"I recorded it all on a camera as Ahsoka then crept into Nathan's bed, straddled him in reverse cowgirl, and then in the most thick Togruta accent ever, started asking: "Hey guy; you want boom-boom? You wanna give me big boom-boom tonight?!"
Emerald burst out laughing, and Ahsoka was no different as she snorted:
"Nathan woke up so fast it was crazy. One moment I was grinding on his crotch suggestively, next I'm flung across the room as Nathan scrambles out of bed!" Ahsoka sighed as she added: "The funniest part was that we then noticed he had a boner!"
Emerald wheezed as she once again laughed, the three all laughing over the stories being told. "And I thought the pranks I pulled were bad."
Jason nodded. "Well; maybe one day we'll get another chance. Maybe with you instead of Ahsoka."
Emerald rolled her eyes as then; Jason's scroll buzzed.
Jason checked, and saw it was Blake. Answering, Jason said: "Hey Blake; what's going on? You nearly finished in town?"
"Jason; you need to get here ASAP." Blake said, shocking him by how serious she was acting. "An old friend of mine just showed up and started attacking Nathan! It's escalated to them using weapons now."
Jason swore under his breath, asking: "Where are you now?"
"That pharmacy Raven recommended." Blake replied. "Bring Ghost. And some cuffs."
"On my way, Blake." Jason said as he got up. "Apologies my friends, but it looks like Nathan's been attacked by a jilted ex-lover of Blake's that somehow isn't Adam Taurus."
"Just how many enemies has Nathan made since coming to Remnant?" Ahsoka asked as she got up.
"Well; he did lose one when I defected." Emerald said.
"No time to waste. Get Ghost and tell him to meet me outside." Jason said as he headed towards the main entrance. Trouble seemed to follow Nathan wherever he set foot nowadays.
With Nathan and Sun…
Nathan still hated double-ended weapons.
A thought which entered into his mind just in time for him to block a blow from Sun which was aimed at his back, spinning out of the weapon-lock and jabbing at Sun's chest.
The monkey faunus slapped Nathan's lightsaber aside and tried jabbing at Nathan's face.
Sidestepping the jab, Nathan used the opening to deliver a fierce kick to Sun's midsection, doubling Sun over, and using that opening to connect with a savage axe-kick to the back of Sun's head, dropping Sun flat onto his face.
Stepping back, Nathan raised his lightsaber, saying: "I can do this all day, Sun. Just apologise to Blake and take back what you said; and we can walk away like this never happened."
"Too bad, Nate…" Sun spat, forcing himself to his feet. "Cause I can do this all day, too!" With that, he dashed towards Nathan, feinting a jab towards Nathan's face before swinging his staff towards Nathan's temple.
Nathan parried both blows, countering with a slash at Sun's legs.
Sun jumped up to avoid the attack, at which Nathan revealed this was itself a feint:
Allowing Nathan to hurl Sun back with a massive Force Push that sent the monkey faunus flying, smashing into the wall behind him.
Switching off his lightsaber, Nathan marched towards Sun, kicking away Sun's staff before grabbing his left arm and stretching it backwards, placing his foot on Sun's left shoulder blade and locking in an armbar of sorts. "Last chance, Sun." Nathan snarled. "Apologise and take back what you said about her, or I break your fucking arm."
Sun struggled, reaching out for his staff, but it was just out of reach.
Nathan then applied more pressure, leaving Sun grunting in more pain. "Apologise." Nathan said, leaving no room for mistaking what he wanted from Sun.
Sun then looked up to see Blake gingerly approaching, a concerned look on her face. "Blake…"
"On the count of three." Nathan said. "One; two…"
"I'M SORRY!" Sun shouted, so that it echoed across the area. "I'm sorry I called you a slut, Blake. I take back what I said."
Nathan looked up at Blake, who nodded, at which Nathan released Sun, walking over to Blake and pulled her close. "Come on; let's get back."
Blake nodded, but as they set off, she looked back at Sun: "Nathan…"
Spinning on his heel, Nathan's lightsaber was ignited and in his hand, facing down Sun, who had just retrieved his staff.
A heartbroken look crossed Sun's face, as he looked like he was about to either attack Nathan again, or run off in tears.
It was at this time though that Nathan felt a hand on his shoulder.
"He's done, Nathan. Let it go."
Nathan looked to see Jason stood there, and nodded agreement, switching off his lightsaber and attaching it back on his belt. Looking back at Sun, Nathan said: "Don't let me see you near Blake again." Leaving the threat of what he'd do if he did hanging unspoken in the air as he left with Blake, holding her hand tightly.
Back at the house…
"Nate!"
Nathan looked up to see Yang rushing over, face streaked with concern.
"We heard about what was happening. Are you and Blake okay?" the golden haired brawler asked.
Nathan nodded. "It's been dealt with." He replied before looking to Blake. "Go on. I'll see you later."
Blake nodded with a soft smile as she pecked Nathan on the jaw before heading off to her and Nathan's bedroom.
Nathan sighed. "It was Sun." Nathan elaborated to Yang. "He showed up, demanded to know why me and Blake were still together, and… told Blake to her face that I should have died at Beacon. And that was before he saw the pregnancy tests in Blake's bag."
"Shit…" Yang muttered.
"One instance of slut-shaming later; I told him to take it back, and then he attacked me." Nathan added. "He lost, and is now being taken to prison, where his buddies will have to bail him out."
Yang sighed. "It's… it's bizarre to think of Sun as being capable of that." She remarked. "We all knew Sun as this ginormous goofball that everybody liked. I wonder what happened in his life to change his personality like that?"
"No idea." Nathan replied. "It quite honestly reminds me of how Narcissa behaved once I rejected her one too many times. Only she knocked me out and tried to rape me."
Yang nodded. "Well; hopefully Sun gets the help he needs. He was a good friend when we knew him."
"You and me both, Yang." Nathan replied. "Anyway; go tell the others me and Blake are both okay, but that Blake doesn't want to be disturbed right now."
Yang nodded, and turned to leave. "By the way…" She said. "If Blake is pregnant… you tell me first. Got it?"
Nathan folded his arms with a smirk. "We'll see." He replied as he walked off elsewhere in the house.
"Mr Phoenix."
Nathan stopped as the voice of Professor Ozpin drew his attention. Looking to see Ozpin; still currently using Oscar's body, Nathan asked: "What can I do for you, professor?"
"I realise you have made clear your intentions to break someone's jaw should they talk about this; but I cannot help but raise concerns regarding Miss Belladonna's suspected pregnancy with you." Ozpin replied. "Especially as we sit on the cusp of what could be a battle equally as costly as both battles at Beacon were."
Nathan folded his arms. "Your concerns are noted, professor. But me and Blake nearly lost one chance at a future together. We're seizing this chance because even though I've come a long way in terms of skill… there's still a chance I might not walk away from this battle alive. And I'd die happier knowing Blake's carrying my baby, and she at least has someone to remind her of me when I'm gone." Pausing, Nathan added: "And my threat was only if I overheard anyone discussing it amongst themselves without involving me and Blake. Because after Kanan… anyone could be thinking about dragging Blake off to an abortion clinic."
"I see." Ozpin said. "Well; should Blake prove to be expecting your first child together, let me be amongst the first to congratulate you."
"Thanks, professor." Nathan replied with a smile.
Ozpin nodded, before his eyes flashed, and Oscar once more took over. "Ugh… that's never going to feel anything but weird." The young man remarked.
"Having an old man inside you is going to be weird no matter what." Nathan replied, before starting to walk off.
"Wait."
Nathan spun to see Oscar walk up to him.
"Congratulations on the baby if it's there..." Oscar said. "You'll be a great father."
Nathan smiled, ruffling Oscar's hair. "Thanks, Oz." He replied, deciding he needed a nap.
Heading straight for the living room again, Nathan sat on one of the sofas and removed his red hoodie, turning it into a makeshift pillow before taking off his boots and leaning on the sofa, closing his eyes as he took a deep breath.
Some-time later…
"Hey, Nathan?"
Nathan's eyes slowly opened as he looked up.
Emerald was looking down at him from where she was stood, smiling at him. "What's up, Emerald?" Nathan asked, sitting up and donning his shoes again.
"Well; dinner's being cooked, and… I have been meaning to talk to you for a while." Emerald replied. "So… I figured, you know?"
Nathan smiled and moved to a better position, patting the seat next to him. "Go ahead."
Emerald nodded her appreciation as she joined Nathan on the sofa, taking a breath.
"I… I guess I should start by saying thank you." Emerald said. "When I first joined you guys, I know a lot of you would've preferred to leave me on the streets to rot; and I'll be the first to admit I would have deserved that for all the things I did. But… you were one of the few that stuck up for me; and in the past three weeks, I've been more and more accepted into the group. Sure; most of that was thanks to Jason, but… I'd like to think they took what you said about me to heart as well. So… thank you."
Nathan nodded. "I've come to believe a lot in second chances." Nathan admitted. "A lot in my life right now boils down to second chances. This is my second chance to stop the Empire after I failed at Beacon. Jason is on his second chance with me after That Argument. This is my second chance to secure my future with Blake." Looking back at Emerald, Nathan added: "Everyone deserves a chance at redemption, Emerald. Even you."
A warm smile crossed Emerald's face as she said: "Thank you Nathan. You've always been nothing but friendly to me."
"I'll always have a smile and friendly conversation for you, Emerald." Nathan said. "Though had we met in combat, I would have probably kicked your fucking head in, but that's a hypothesis we can put to rest now."
"That's a relief." Emerald remarked. "I remember Mercury had one hell of a concussion after you beat him during your fight in the maintenance corridor during the Vytal Festival."
Nathan snorted. "That's what happens when you dance with a phoenix, Emerald." Nathan remarked. "You get fucking burned."
Emerald giggled. "Then I'll make an effort not to dance with you." She replied.
"That's a pity. Nathan's a pretty good dancer."
Both looked up and smiled as Blake walked up to the sofa, herself smiling warmly.
"Hey, beautiful." Nathan said softly, standing up to greet Blake with a kiss. "The tests done?" He asked.
Blake nodded. "I've put them someplace safe." Looking to Emerald, Blake said: "Getting bored of being good yet?"
Emerald snorted. "Hardly. Being able to turn over this new leaf is nothing short of amazing. And it wouldn't have happened if it weren't for all of you."
"We're glad." Blake replied softly. Alongside Nathan, she sat down, snuggling up to him as Emerald looked on.
A smile crossed Emerald's face as she said: "You know; feels like yesterday that you guys had only just started dating. And yet… so long has passed."
"If eighteen months can be considered as 'so long'." Nathan remarked. "But yeah; still feels like yesterday I told Blake how I felt about her."
"And here you are… supposedly expecting a baby." Emerald replied. "I… I'm guessing that's what you meant when you asked Blake if she'd done the tests."
Nathan nodded.
"Awesome! Well; if you are pregnant; congrats!" Emerald said enthusiastically.
"Thank you." Blake replied. "But we're not going to make an official announcement until after the battle. Last thing I need are my friends trying to wrap me up in cotton wool whilst we're fighting a pitched battle."
"She's not even going to tell me until after the battle." Nathan replied.
Emerald chuckled. "Because you'd probably lock her in this house entirely. I've seen enough movies involving pregnant women in battles to know that trope."
"How were you able to watch them all?" Nathan asked. "Unless Salem's castle somehow has a fucking cinema room. In which case; we might be on the wrong side."
Emerald laughed. "No. And I watched them all when me and Mercury were undercover at Beacon. Gotta pass the time somehow in-between meetings on how best to destroy one of the four Huntsmen Academies."
"Fair enough." Nathan commented. "But it wouldn't hurt to have something like that for ourselves." Looking at Blake; Nathan said: "You were saying about your parents building us that house in Menagerie…"
"No, Nathan…" Blake said firmly.
"Just offering entertainment ideas for the kids when you and I need a break." Nathan suggested.
Blake rolled her eyes. "That's a low blow, Nathan."
Nathan shrugged. "Can't blame me. Blame Emerald for sticking the idea in my head."
"How am I the one that put the idea in your head?" Emerald responded incredulously. "You're the one that even suggested Salem has a cinema room in her castle; which I assure you she does not."
"A guy can dream." Nathan remarked, making Emerald and Blake laugh.
As the laughter died down, footsteps approaching them drew their attention, and they looked to see Jason stood there.
"Just finished up a conversation with Ghira." Jason said. "Sienna's gathered her entire army in Menagerie. And they plan on arriving here in Haven within the week."
And now the end is within sight.
The Battle of Haven is coming. And you can expect an actual pitched battle instead of... whatever happened IRL was.
Also; for those who might think Sun is a little OOC for slut-shaming Blake, considering the situation, it made sense for Sun to lash out so nastily.
Anyway... let's answer some reviews, shall we?
Sharnorasian Empire: You were right with your first pick. As for Yang forgiving Kanan... fate has a funny knack of speeding things up when you least expect them.
vmoneywashere: Thankfully for Blake; even with her not in the equation due to her supposed pregnancy, there are plenty of strong warriors capable of filling in for her for the time being.
That said; thank you all so much for taking the time to read this chapter. If you all liked it; y'all know what to do.
I shall see you next week with Chapter 28, which sees the White Fang arrive in Mistral.
