Scene 18
As the falcon flies through space at the speed of light, an alarm sounds. It is an urgent message coming through the falcon's communication system. Leia is commanding the falcon as Han is still resting. C-3PO and Wicket are playing on the holographic chess board. Wicket tried to grab the holographic pieces as Leia answers the call. A hologram of Admiral Ackbar appears.
Leia: Yes Admiral.
Admiral Ackbar: Chancellor Solo. How far are you from Coruscant?
Leia: About two parsecs. We won't be long.
Admiral Ackbar: Hurry as fast as you can. There has been an attack near the Gra'Adium star system. The entire blockade there has been wiped out!
Leia: WHAT!? How could this have happened? Who did this?
Admiral Ackbar: It appears it was from a lone group in a single cruiser.
Leia: That's impossible!
Admiral Ackbar: Yes, your highness. We don't know all the details but we are learning more as the situation unfolds.
Leia: Alright, organize an emergency board meeting. You can fill us in with the details when we get there. We should be there within the hour.
Admiral Ackbar: Yes Chancellor Solo.

On Coruscant in emergency meeting is being held where Admiral Ackbar is addressing Chancellor Solo and several other Republic members including Han, Chewbacca, Wicket and the droids.
Admiral Ackbar: I'd like to thank you all for attending this emergency meeting on such short notice. As you all know, there was recently an attack on the blockade that secures the route to the Gra'Adium Star. Here to gives us a more clear picture of the situation is one of the surviving members of the blockade Commander Darg. Commander...
Commander Darg: Thank you Admiral. A short time ago, my blockade was destroyed by a lone ship.
Han: A single ship? Come on!
Commander Darg: The ship was identified as the starstormer and had the most incredible defensive and attacking capabilities I have ever seen in a single vessel.
Han: Are you sure you hit the thing?
Commander Darg: I was there Admiral Solo. We most assuredly hit it. Unfortunately we didn't make a dent.
Leia: You'll have forgive Admiral Solo...what happened next commander?
Commander Darg: I was able to track its movements while aboard my escape pod. I was able to track it...
Leia: To where?
Commander Darg: ...It flew inside of the Gra'Adium star itself...
The entire room gasps and murmurs amongst themselves in disbelief.
C-3PO: Oh how absurd!
Han: You're telling me they're inside the star right now? No one could possibly survive that!
Commander Darg: I beg your pardon Admiral Solo, but it seems they *have* found a way.
The crowd murmurs to themselves even more.
Leia: Commander, do we know who did this?
Commander Darg: We do. A small group of extremist that call themselves the New Sun Crusaders. Their leader is a man named Zaxen Lure...Grand Duke of the Hylos system.
Admiral Ackbar: We received a transmission just moments ago from the Grand Duke declaring his intentions.
Admiral Ackbar plays the transmission. A blue holograph of Zaxen Lure fills the room and begins to speak.
Zaxen: Greetings members of the Republic. I am Zaxen Lure, leader of the New Sun Crusaders. As you by now know, our ship, the Starstormer is the most powerful vessel in the galaxy. If our demonstration at the Gra'Adium blockade didn't convince you of our strength, then allow us to provide further proof. We have taken refuge inside the star itself were it is impossible for any one of your cruisers to follow. Soon, using our technically, we will burn the star out and within days, the entire system the Gra'Adium star supports will die. After that, more star systems will fall unless all governing bodies lay down thier power and put a permanent end to all wars. If peace is what you do not seek...then we will force peace upon you. Democracies will no longer corrode and tyrants will no longer rule with fear. A new dawn begins now. We are the New Sun Crusaders. Until next we meet... farewell...
The crowd is in shock and murmurs amongst themselves again. Chewbacca growls and wines.
Leia: Admiral Ackbar, what is the situation in the Gra'Adium system now.
Admiral Ackbar: We are monitoring the sun as well as the planets it supports. Thier is no change at this time.
Han: I say it's one big bluff.
Leia: Possibly...but for now we must treat this threat with the upmost seriousness. Admiral, send out as many intelligence agents as we have to find out the secret of this new ship. We must find a way to neutralize this weapon at any cost.
Admiral Ackbar: Yes chancellor...
Han: I'll contact Lando. See of he can find out anything.
Leia: Good. And I'll contact Luke as soon as possible. Everyone...the answer to this crisis is in our hands...Now let's get to work...and may the force be with us...
As everyone starts to get up and leave, C-3PO comments about the situation to himself and R2-D2.
C-3PO: Well R2...once again, we are needed to save the day.
R2 just beeps and whistles in response.

Inside the Gra'Adium Star, the Starstormer prepares to collapse the Sun with its secret weapon. As Zaxen Lure awaits in his station, he is interested by Captain Loga via a hologram.
Captain Loga: Your grace...the collapser beam has been fully charged.
Zaxen: Wonderful...activate the beam.
Captain Loga: Yes sir.
As soon as he ends the transmission, Captain Loga operates a panel with many switches and levers. After a few adjustments, he presses a switch. Then a huge cannon opens up from the side of the Starstormer and fires an enormous purple beam of pulsing lightning. The massive beam pumps into the core of the sun, causing the core to flux.
Zaxen looks on from his station area in amazement.
Zaxen: Yes...now...the dawn of true freedom begins...and there is nothing that can stop us...
