Bella's pov
We boarded the plane a few hours later. Carlisle was looking at me with guilt almost as if he failed me. It's not his fault of what happened.
Two years ago this would of been exactly what I wanted, now I'm not to sure. What I am sure is it has to be better than death.
"Your being too quiet, it's kind of scaring me" I finally said
"Oh I'm sorry I didn't realize"
"You know you don't have to blame yourself or fee guilty. I can see it in your eyes. You aren't even the one who told me."
"Bella, it's been two years since we've seen you. Somehow you finished high school and medical school in two years. I'm going to be ripping from the life you worked so hard on"
"I'll be fine as long as you promise you won't leave me again"
"I promise"
Carlisle pov
She was such a brave girl. I was going to be taking her life in very short amount of time and she says she's fine. I want to say I regret leaving her, because I do but she's done so much without us around it almost seems as if she was better off. I doubt she's truly fine, she's probably just saying it to make me feel better.
I better text Esme about this whole situation.
Carlisle: we are on our way home
Esme: How did it go
Carlisle: it's a long story, to shorten it they are letting her live but I have to turn her. They gave us two weeks but we all know they don't really mean two weeks
Esme: How is she taking it?
Carlisle: She says she's fine but I feel like she doesn't mean it
Esme: It'll be alright, we'll all get through this together. I'll see you two when you land.
I really hope everything will be okay. I hope she won't hate me after this.
All of the sudden she leans on me. I look at her.
"Are you okay"
"I'm mostly okay, I'm just a little scared"
"Hey if you don't want to..." She cut me off
"It's better then the other outcome"
" I'll be here for you the whole way and so will Esme. We won't leave you alone again"
"I know" she said then drifted off
