Paw Patrol X Season Four Ending Theme
Rock guitar music played as Charm was shown looking at a knife he was holding in his right paw. He started squeezing the handle tight before F.M. put a paw on his shoulder to help him calm down, which made him smile slightly. After he started cutting an onion, a male voice started singing If I Deserve It. "Even after everything I've done... I was allowed this opportunity, for something that makes me happy." Charm was then shown writing in his journal at night while looking at Rocky when passing his room. "It certainly caught me off guard... to see them let me try, kissing my past goodbye."
Charm was then shown walking around Adventure Bay, where he was questioning if he really had the right to change for the better. "But I really have to wonder... do I really deserve to be, a better, nicer version of me?" Charm looked over to Katie's clinic, where the Portuguese Water Dog was staying. "After what my father did to me..." Charm smiled and waved back to the Portuguese Water Dog after the latter waved to him. "is what those now closest to me say true, that my life does have value?"
Charm was with the others as Mer-Pups, and he became suspicious upon observing the behavior of the Mer-Pup who looked like Skye as she was showing them around PupLantis in such a carefree manner. "Do I deserve the chance to prove I can change, when I don't even know who I am... beyond the darkness in me?" The scene then changed to Charm trying to save the Portuguese Water Dog from a Black Labrador in knight armor who tries to capture him. "I've been taught to be a devil and know almost nothing else, and sometimes I ask myself... as much as I want to be free..."
Charm then stood there with three pups' smiles in his mind as he looked confused and alone. "What do they seeeeee?"
Images about the process of Charm killing the canine with the Portuguese Water Dog trying to calm him down as he's freaking out were shown. He began having hallucinations that caused him to run away. "If I deserve iiiiit... why is proving it so hard!? Not just to them, but also me, it's so hard for me to see;" Charm suddenly got a call, and the voice on the phone tried to calm him down, surprising him that he could understand it. "If I deserve iiiiit... because killing is all I used to know! And now that I'm, trying to change, I don't know if that goal's in range!"
Charm was reporting to Chase as he thought about Mr. Porter politely declining his assistance out of fear. "I wish I had faith in myself;" The scene then changed to Charm having a nightmare about when Slash convinced him to kill his mother. "It's just so hard to see!" Rocky was shown later on to be encouraging Charm to join in on a basketball game some of the other pups were having. He seemed reluctant for a reason that could be unclear to outsiders. "After my first chance was so easily taken from me!"
The song ended with images of F.M., Rocky, and the Portuguese Water Dog were in Charm's mind as he opened his eyes and looked out to the ocean with a conflicted look on his face. It was also paralleled with an English Springer Spaniel Mer-Pup, the Mer-Pup who looked like Skye, and Claw, who showed looks of fear or hatred. And in his right paw, was a gun, and his intentions with it were unclear.
