I've been fascinated with BBC's Sherlock and I've also been interested in the notion of Johnlock and wondered what that might start out like. Here we have Sherlock getting rather concerned about John's domestic tendencies. This started out very small and may stay as a one shot, but I was encouraged to keep writing.

Regency AU- Sherlock Holmes prefers London to the country, so he isn't happy about spending a summer with his family at their country estate. He hopes that some beekeeping will keep him entertained. John is concerned when Sherlock is distracted from his work. He later finds out that Sherlock is in love with a woman. Unbeknownst to them both the woman is deadly, when Sherlock finds out who she really is, his entire world is turned upside down.

Instead of being precisely where she's meant to be on Christmas Eve, Sherlock Holmes finds Molly Hooper to be in the midst of what seems to be a date - with a completely inappropriate partner. If she would simply deduce the facts, she would see that the need for frivolous first dates is already well past.
