Hey there, time for another chapter of this story. I am surprised how much this story has grown over the year. I wanted to make a good story and here we are. I am taking it slow, because I work better with small chapters, but don't worry I will make sure this is the one that gets constant updates.

About the plot point of Tanjiro not realizing that he is been out for a month is my fault. I mean, Tanjiro is from a time period where days could go by and he wouldn't even notice. I mean, he spent two years with Urokodaki before going to the final selection. This is just a small detail in my opinion. Besides he is smart enough to not go around and look for the Corp, he knows they live in secret.

Now here is my chapter.

At the Park

Tanjiro saw the little creature and he was at first confused, he has seen a fallen angel before, so he didn't know how many creatures existed. Since she looked like a small girl, he decided to be nice.

''Hi there…'' Said him but the girl just stood back.

''Stay away from me!'' Said her scared.

He noticed the sun light touching her, meaning she wasn't a demon, he also took a sniff in the air, she smelled like a fox and candies.

''She is not a demon, so what is she?" Thought he confused.

''What are you looking at?' Asked her.

''I am sorry, I never seen someone like you before. Can you tell me what you are?' Asked him all calm.

''I am a yokai.'' Said her.

''A yokai? You mean a mystical creature.'' Said Tanjiro in shock.

''Yes, I am a kitstune.'' Said her showing off her tail and ears.

Tanjiro remembered hearing stories of those creatures from his mother, Kitsune were those nine tail foxes that could shape shift. He always imagined them being powerful and big creatures, but seeing this little girl like that was also pretty cute.

''Incredible, I never expected to see one pretty close! You must be really powerful if you are!'' Said Tanjiro praising the girl with a lot of enthusiasm.

The girl just blush at that, she liked when people praised her and not compared to her mother.

''Well…I am not a full power. I am still a small girl, I hope to get powerful one day, so I don't have problems like this one.'' Said her.

''What is wrong?" Asked Tanjiro.

''I am being chased by some criminals.'' Said her nervous.

''What! Are they nearby!?" Asked Tanjiro.

''I found her!' Scream a muscular man.

Tanjiro saw a group of man (in total 4) with black suits, members of a little organization called Chaos Brigade, they were all replacement henchmen. Seeing this made Tanjiro infuriated, because it was a bunch of adult's man were messing with a little girl.

''Princess Kunou, this is your last chance. Come with us or we will have to use strength.'' Said one of the man.

''Leave me alone! Thanks to you all, my mom will never let me leave the castle until I am a grown up.'' Said Kunou.

''Oh queen Yasaka will be next. Once we have her daughter it will be easy to lure her.'' Said one of the man.

''Leave me alone!'' Said Kunou activating her magic.

The girl used her magic to make a little bit of fire, enough to make the terrorist back away, but not enough to send them down.

''She has magic!"' Thought Tanjiro in shock, seeing a little girl do that ws beyond insanity for him, and he comes from a life of pretty much madness.

''Do you think this little thing can stop us! We will take you by force. There´s no way you can beat us.'' Said one of the terrorist.

Tanjiro could see the terror in the girl eyes, and he saw that he had to step up.

''Stay behind me.'' Said Tanjiro staying up front.

''What? Who are you kid?" Asked one of the terrorists.

''I am a demon slayer, even thought my job prohibits me from harming people, I will not let you all continue to antagonize this little girl.'' Said Tanjiro.

''You slay what!' Scream Kunou in shock.

Tanjiro took out his sword and took a stand, he was ready to fight. He took a deep breath and let the flow do its work.

''What is this?" Asked one of the terrorists.

''Water Breathing: Fourth Form Striking Tide!"'

The terrorist didn't even saw Tanjiro coming, he was too fast for them to keep up. In just a second he appeared and slashed all of them in the chest.

''Argh!'' Scream all of them in pain.

Tanjiro hated attacking people, but that was the only way. He knew his regular strength wouldn't be enough to take them down at the same time, so he would have to resource to this.

''Attacking a little girl like that its unthinkable. I don't care if she is not human, she isn't a demon hurting others, so she doesn't need to be attacked.'' Thoguht Tanjiro.

''What is this? Who do you work for?' Asked the first terrorist.

''The Demon Slayer Corp.'' Said Tanjiro all serious.

''Demon Slayer Corp? What is that?'' Asked the first Terrorist.

''You don't know about the corp?'' Asked Tanjiro.

''What is that sword? It hurts a lot.'' Said the Second Terrorist.

''Its magic! The kid is a wizard.'' Said the Third Terrorist.

''No, I am not a wizard.'' Said Tanjiro.

''Oh yeah, let's see you be brave now with this. Call the mutt.'' Said the fourth terrorist.

Soon that terrorist snapped his fingers and a magic circle appeared, and then a huge monster appeared. A dog with three heads and he looked furious.

''What is that?'' Asked Tanjiro in horror.

''That is a Cerberus. A dog from hell. Have fun being eaten!'' Said the fourth terrorist.

''ROAR!'' Scream the creature coming down to attack Tanjiro.

The demon's slayer dodged the bite, but for a little bit. Kunou run away to hide behind a tree, while Tanjiro decided to attack the creature.

''He has three heads. If I cut the three at the same time, would he die?" Thoguht Tanjiro.

The Cerberus kept attacking him, Tanjiro made sure to try and dodge every attack, but bits and bits his uniform was getting shred it.

''Argh!'' Said Tanjiro now in pain.

''Ha! We won! We will be coming for you little princess!'' Said the terrorist.

Tanjiro saw Kunou face, she was scared and that gave him enough motivation. He decided to put all his effort and a lot of strength into the next attack.

''Total Concentration.'' Saidhim.

''Uh?'' Asked the terrorist confused.

''Water Breathing: Ninth Form: Splashing Water Flow, Flash!'' Scream Tanjiro.

The speed was now beyond anything human, now Tanjiro was going too fast for the naked eye to see. Only a creature like a demon or a yokai could keep up with him, soon he managed to cut off all of the Cerberus heads with no trouble.

''ARGH!'' Scream the creature tuning into dust.

''The cerebro is dead!'' Scream the second terrorist.

''Wow!'' Said Kunou amazed at that.

Tanjiro then pointed his sword towards one of the terrorists, he guy was now sweating crazy and scared for his life.

''Now leave and never bother this little girl again.'' Said Tanjiro all cold.

''Retreat!'' Scream the terrorist activating a portal as they all flee.

Once they were gone Kunou looked relieved, amazed that one person defeated this magical terrorist.

''He defeated them all alone?" Thought her.

''Are you ok?" Asked Tanjiro.

''Yes, I am.'' Said her.

''I am so glad to hear that.'' Said him.

''What´s your name?" Asked her.

''Tanjiro Kamado.''

''I am Kunou, nice to meet you properly.'' Said Kunou with a smile.

''it's a pleasure too meet you Kunou.'' Said Tanjiro.

''You too Tanjiro.'' Said her.

''Oh there you are!" Said a new voice.

The two turned their heads to see a new arrival, a creature with a long nose and some little wings. That was a tengu.

'You´re majesty.'' Said Tengu.

''Oh Tengu!'' Said Kunou happy.

''A tengu!' Said Tanjiro in shock.

''What happened?! Where were you and where are those man?" Asked Tengu.

''Well, I was having a walk down by the river when they appeared, I know mommy said to me never to use portal magic but I didn't know what to do. They never leaved alone and I didn't know what to do. I kept running until I reach Kuoh.'' Said Kunou.

''Oh, who would know that even in this day and age people would try to kidnap a princess. I thought that terrorist were smart now compared to the Sengoku era.'' Said Tengu.

''Sengoku era, excuse me what year is it?" Asked Tanjiro.

''Is 2008.'' Said Kunou all calm.

The answer shock Tanjiro, he doesn't remember exactly what year the attack on his sister happened but he remembered being 1900´s something.

''2008!'' Thought Tanjiro in shock.

''Princess, you have to come. This young man might have helped you escape, but the terrorist could be nearby.'' Said Tengu.

''don't worry about them. Tanjiro defeated them all'' Said Kunou.

''Uh! What?" Asked Tengu confused.

''Yes, he is a skilled swordsman. He defeated all of them and a Cerberus pretty easily.'' Said Kunou.

The Tengu looked at Tanjiro in shock, pretty much amazed to hear that.

''You defeated all those criminal? Including a cerebru ?' Asked him.

''Yes, my name is Tanjiro Kamado and I would have made sure that Kunou-chan wasn't hurt.'' Said him.

The Tengu just smile at that and even gave Tanjiro a little bow.

''Thank you Tanjiro-kun, the people of Kyoto would all be thankful for your help.'' Said Tengu.

''I am glad that Kunou-chan is safe. I need it to help her, and I couldn't let a bunch of man antagonize her.'' Said Tanjiro patting Kunou in the head.

The girl Kitsune just smile at that with a blush in her face.

''We will be going; her mother should be worried.'' Said Tengu.

''Well, I´m glad that she is safe. I hope you all have a safe trip.'' Said him.

''Tahnk you Tanjiro-kun, you´re really a nice guy.'' Said her.

'Thank you and you´re a really sweet girl. I hope you and your mother are ok.'' Said Tanjiro with a smile.

''Let's meet again.'' Said her excited.

''Sure, just warn me first.'' Said Tanjiro.

''That could happen, goodbye Tanjiro-kun.'' Said Tengu.

Tanjiro just wave back as he saw the two be teleported away. After all the crazy stuff he has been seeing over the past month a few things were shocking him, he saw a kitsune today and he discovered that he wasn't in 1900´s, his mind was all over the place.

''2008? How is this possible?" Asked him.

The demon slayer put his sword back in his holster and started to think of ways.

''I mean…there´s no way.'' Thoguht him.

He wasn't attack by a blood demon art or something like that. He remembered being on the river and then ended up in this city.

''I need to talk to Anya-sama.'' Thoguht him.

Later

Tanjiro rushed to get home, where Anya was there with some potions and some candles being used.

''Tanjiro-kun! Wow, you´re in a rush.'' Said Anya with a smile.

''Oh Anya-sama…oooh.'' Said Tanjiro going to hit some of the candles.

''Oh wait!'' Said Anya snapping her fingers.

Some of the candle light were now gone, it was amazing seeing that.

'Its really cool learn a few spells.'' Said Anya.

''Anya-sama, I have a lot of question for today, but first is your book nearby?' Asked Tanjiro.

''Yes, why is that?" Asked her.

''I saw a kitsune today.'' Said Tanjiro.

''A kitsune. You mean, the nine-tail fox?' Asked her.

''Yes, she looked like a small girl for some reason.'' Said him.

''Well let's check it out.'' Said her.

The two went to look for Kitsune information on the book.

While Anya was looking for the information, Tanjiro saw the calendar on the wall. He only saw the date and month, but never looked at the year. He saw which year the calendar was on now.

''2008? I am in the future?" Thoguht Tanjiro baffled.

Yes, Tanjiro now feels a little confused seeing that he is in the future. We never got a specific year in the Demon Slayer world. I mean, if we go along with the finale and Kiriya being alive at the end, we could say that the series takes place in 1908. I mean Kiriya was 8 when Tanjiro first meet him and so for it. I don't know how the math would work.

I mean, he wouldn't question the year so for it. That's not in Tanjiro character, but he will keep looking for an explanation.

I like this chapter; it was short and sweet and when we do Season 4, we have some connections.

Hey, if Kunou found in love with Issei by saving her from some losers why not make her fall for Tanjiro from saving her from real treats. Well, this is all I have for now. See you all next time.
