A short drabble that I wrote up after watching the Sherlock Series 3 teaser trailer for the bazillionith time. Takes place in the restaurant we see John in in the teaser. Nothing much, but enjoy!

In an effort to help John research a book he isn't really writing, Sherlock agrees to really bond with John, just like men in the armed forces would. Things reach critical mass when John is abducted one time too many and Sherlock's distractions with the writing project lead to unforgivable mistakes. Johnlock, not Britpicked.
