At first Sherlock intends to completely ignore her, only letting her live with them because of how desperate she seems, but perhaps they have more in common than he assumes. (Centered around an OC of mine)

When Greg gets shot on a case and Mycroft is half a world away, Greg worries that what they have, isn't worth it. However...Mycroft always manages to send the right message his direction. While Sherlock and John are out chasing a typical criminal in the darkened streets of London, he catches the pair off guard and Sherlock is incidentally injured protecting John. Now it's a matter of time to get Sherlock help before everything goes black and John loses him for good.
