Now, Sherlock is still and tense but he accepts the fact that he must be patient. He stores every sound he hears in his Mind Palace even though these days, everything floats, so he is no longer able to gauge what is real and what is unreal. There is no line dividing these two states. There is no distinction. Most importantly, there is no John.

Too busy looking for zebras instead of horses, Sherlock doesn't solve the case, but he gets the girl. Implied Sherlolly.

It has been three years since the blood was washed from the pavement, three years since John Watson's world had tipped and teetered, like a precious vase at the edge of a table, always a hair's breadth away from disaster. Now that Sherlock is back, John should feel safe, stable, but he doesn't even trust the ground he walks on.

Post Reichenbach. Sherlock is now living alone in his new flat, but finds that being alone after having friends is different than being alone having never known what you were missing. Not technically Johnlock, but you think what you want :)
