Sherlock quickly went through his options. He liked John well enough, more than he cared to admit. He trusted him more than he had trusted most people, and he rarely trusted anyone. John had been in the army, so he had seen many horrifying things. This most likely wouldn't scare him away. But, he may prove hard to persuade. He quickly came to a conclusion and acted upon it.

Post-Reichenbach: What did you do or say after you had broken the heart of someone you truly loved. Sherlock ached for John. John thought this was all he could feel. This deep rooted sadness. He thought he'd found the perfect girlfriend, he'd thought everything would be better. But Sherlock is determined to return to John. But what happens when something evil gets in the way.

Post-Reichenbach. First try at fanfiction. "John H. Watson picked up his pace when he felt the first raindrop land on his left hand. The same one that gripped his cane as he made his way back to 221B from the shopping." I know there's hundreds of fics out there just like these, but it's an easy place to start writing in. Intended to become Sherlock/John if ever continued.
