Dustfinger knew now, in his heart, that what he had with Resa was not meant to be. Resa had her lover, the Silvertongue was what Capricorn called him, what Basta called him. It was the one piece of being in a strange world, not his own. To ease his mind, Dustfinger wrote a poem, proclaiming his love for Resa, hoping that one day she would get the chance to read.

Dante Folchart doesn't know why his sister is sad and his father is longing and his mother looks to the horizon wistfully. He doesn't understand the strange words and ideas they have, of 'cars' and 'computers'. But he knows if he can, he will do all in his power to hold them close, and keep from losing them to a dream. Despite being forbidden to use it, she and her friends have decided to form a group to save characters from horrible fates. She knows what she's doing is reckless, though, and it haunts her even as she carries Story Thieves, or "the rule book," around with her everywhere.

This is pure crack written at 1:30 in the morning. Darius does some writing and reading, making things happen that have no business happening. Basta and Dustfinger get it on and the Shadow falls in love with...Gwin! WHY DARIUS WHY? Please don't take this seriously.
