Change

Rhaella watched as Jaime walked away.

The young man had yet to become a member of the King's guard and so he still had to obey whatever order she gave him.

She was indeed putting everything on a plan that would most likely end with her being captured and all of his family being put to the sword, burned, or worse.

But what choice did she have, her daughter had either completely fallen into the madness or was barely keeping herself under control.

It had been years since she had been able to truly get any sleep, but ever since the stranger's appearance beyond the wall, her daughter had regained some color and she had been able to sleep beyond a few minutes.

No one in the castle even knew that she had already sent Visenya away.

If she was found before she could escape, then Jaime would have to take her daughter to the wall, so that she could at least spend her last sane days outside of this prison that was in the shape of a castle.

She was planning to throw away generations of work and history, but what were her other options?

She could sit quietly as her husband and brother murmured to himself as his mind broke.

She could lay on her back and let him force her to carry another child that wouldn't be born, how many miscarriages has she had already?

She neither wanted to know nor think about them as each one was more painful than the last.

The pain of labor was something she had learned to bear, but her soul couldn't bear the burden of seeing so many of her children being denied the chance to even open their eyes or breathe for the first time.

The sun was starting to set and soon she would make her her move.

She wished that she could take her third-born Viserys with her, but the boy was under constant watch, and any attempt that she made to even hold him quickly reached her husband's brother's ears.

So as the night covered King's Landing and the torches were lit by the guards she made her move and headed to one of the castle's many hidden passages.

It pained her to leave her boy behind, but the knights wouldn't allow her husband\ brother to hurt Viserys, as he was the only spare that the king had.

She quietly and quickly moved through the halls of the castle until she stood before one of its many pillars and pushed a stone that she had accidentally found before she entered the hidden passage.

She didn't dare carry a touch with her, as if any light would give away her position when she exited the tunnel.

She kept on walking until her footsteps splashed with the sound of water.

Her feet became cold and it quickly became difficult to walk as the pain of having to walk in such cold weather was nearly unbearable.

Still, she walked until she found herself outside.

The only valuables that she carried with her, were a few bags of gold that she could use to buy food, and pay to stay for a night in an inn.

She hid behind whatever cover she could find and wrapped her feet with a pair of scarves that she had brought with her before she began to walk again, she had no option but to walk all night until she reached her destination.

Every corner she turned a rapist, a drunk, a whore, a guar or any mixture of unsavory individuals stood or tried to grab ahold of her, each time she had to run as fast as she could and use the darkness of the night to hide until she felt it was safe to move again.

Finally, after walking for what felt like years she found herself at her destination, she turned and looked at everything her family had built before closing her eyes and leaving it all behind.

She couldn't help but smile with relief when she saw Jaime waiting for her next to a carriage that she had prepared for this day.

The young man didn't say anything he just gave her a worried expression and opened the carriage door, before closing it the moment that she stepped inside.

She couldnt help but smile when she sall Visenya, sleeping quietly next to him, she carefully stroked her daughter's cheek and began to cry.

It was like they were leaving a nightmare that didn't seem to end behind, but it wasn't over yet, they still needed to reach the wall and so much could go wrong.

Winterfell

The sounds of a horse galloping could be heard as Lyanna rode around the castle, Rickard tolerated his daughter's actions but only because she would do whatever she wanted.

It didn't matter what he said, the girl now a young woman had the wolf's blood in her and that was a problem.

Every woman no matter how wild or untamed they were shared the same fate, they needed to get married and have children.

Lyanna's attitude meant that she would need to have a husband who could tame her.

Meaning that he needed to have an even stronger will of his own, otherwise, Lyanna would completely overwhelm him, and she would either end up dead or divorced and that meant that she was used goods that a lord had gotten rid of.

That was a fate even worse than death, as no lord would dare wed their son, to a woman that had been cast aside, because of her nature.

Lyanna had grown to become quite the beauty and that meant that she had many suitors, but those same suitors could easily be discouraged if they ever had more than a few moments to speak with her.

He stopped writing when the sounds of his daughter's galloping horse were joined by another.

He looked up and prepared himself to fight but he quickly relaxed when he found that it was a member of the watch who had arrived.

"Lord Stark forgive me for coming unannounced, but I came here on behalf of the Players more specifically Lady Asuna of the Knights of the Blood oath."

'She says that while the Players are honored by your offer they won't be able to accept your invitation."

"Their reason is that the wall still has so much to be done and they can't leave it unattended as things are still quite the mess." the man says to him.

Rickard listened to the man's words, but he didn't say anything as he noticed that the man had only stopped talking because he needed to breathe.

It was obvious that the man had ridden his horse through the night and had only stopped to allow the beast to rest.

"With that being said."

"Lady Aduna and her Husband will accept your invitation on behalf of the Kingdom of the Wall and the lands beyond it."

"They will represent everyone both on and beyond the wall, they will arrive with several of their men." the man says to him as an uneasy silence sets between them as the man's eyes carry a slight hint of fear.

'What is it?" Rickard asks him.

"With all due respect sir, please be careful, while the people from beyond the wall may look weak they are far from it."

'There is a reason why the men of the mountains respect them even if they have never fought each other, there's a reason why they managed to take the wall in a single night." the man warned him.

"I see, please get some rest and eat something hot before you leave." Rickard says to the man who nods and accepts his offer.

As the man gets off his horse Rickard asks him when the Lady and her husband will leave the wall and he feels a cold sensation spread in his chest when he hears the man's answer.

'They already left and are heading this way."
