Author Message: Hello everyone, after much consideration I decided to give this series a try with a different protagonist than the usual route. So far, I wanted to see how the reception goes for this story that's been stuck in my head for awhile before I continue. Hope to hear what you all think and that i'm still searching for someone to read my stories and help fix the grammar and small mistakes. As for updates, want to finish writing out Vol 3 of my Naruto x RWBY story, Student of Uzumaki.

Prologue: Chapter 1

"The dream that I had, has been squashed." An old memory of himself and Hashirama as kids came to mind. "But your dream is still relevant now and it continues to live on." His gaze couldn't even move, having only the strength to speak and nothing more.

"We were both too hasty, we didn't need to reach our dreams ourselves. It was far more important to cultivate those who would come after us to whom we could entrust our dreams." His words got a sad smile from the dying man.

"Which means, I would have failed anyway. After all, I have always hated having somebody standing behind me." This caused Hashirama to smile before it turns somber yet smiled again.

"When we were just kids, you once said to me that 'we are Shinobi after all. We never know when we might die.' And you also told me that 'for neither side to die, both of them would have to reveal what's inside of themselves, hiding nothing at all and to drink together as if they were brothers.' But the both of us are about to die, so right now, we have a chance to drink together, as old war buddies." This caused Madara to freeze, filled with emotions long since the past. Slowly, a smile forms on his face, a pleasant feeling deep within him.

"As war buddies, huh." His eyes began to close. "Well then, I suppose that would be ok…my…" The words died as he became unresponsive.

"So this is it…a shame… I couldn't tell him."

As he thought, he felt his consciousness begin to fade, that was until a sudden pull happened like something had grabbed him.

"What-ugh?!"

He felt himself pulled harshly like he was going at Mach speed and with it, a light came into view before it became blinding.

"What's happening?!"

YEAR K402

LOCATION: OUTSKIRTS OF THE DEDOLDIA TRIBE

He started to hear the sound of falling raindrops hitting the leaves along with a woman's voice yet could not understand those words spoken.

"Who's voice is that?"

As the person continued to speak, it was then at this point he felt it, no longer like he was floating but felt he had form and with it he could feel his eyelids move, slowly opening to find the sight of what looked to be raining lightly as a woman was peering down at him, from what he could take in from her appearance he did not recognize her but took note. Among her features eBay had gained most notice was that she barely wore upper clothing, revealing her rippling muscles, the sight of which surprised him yet impressed at the training she must've gone through to obtain it, but the main thing that he took notice of was the fact she had cat ears…and a tail. That's when his gaze moved to her face, the deep sadness in her eye while the other was not visible due to the eyepatch.

"Why is she almost wearing nothing but what Clan had cat—"

The thought stops when he moved his hand, looking to see it was a babies hand, and at that point, he realized what his predicament most likely was as he stared at the fingers before slowly he moved his gaze back to the woman who looked at him one last time yet fled the moment footsteps could be heard approaching.

"Ah, I see… I was reincarnated…"

He watched her disappear in the bushes. "and already abandoned by my own mother." As he thought that, he noticed a light in the corner of his eye and with it the appearance of a shirtless man who appeared to be in a hurry as he carried a torch, his appearance he was already taking in such as the similarities with his ears, tail, hair color and skin. Seeing this, slowly he reaches up to feel his own cat ears atop his head yet felt no Cat tail in turn. As this was happening, the man began to shout in a language he couldn't understand, completely unfamiliar with it but by his expression he could tell that he knew the woman, his mother from the looks and watch him grit his teeth in anger, turning around when he froze upon the sight of himself with the torch dropping from his hands.

He starts to mutter words he couldn't understand before slowly he approaches the baby, bending down, he picks up the child wrapped in cloth and stared at him in shock before sadness appeared in his eyes as he hugs him, muttering to the child.

"So my new life begins, so many questions yet why…why was I given a second chance?"

The man starts to walk away with the child who stared at where his mother had left.

"After everything I've done, after everyone I killed, why did God give me a second chance? But if I was reincarnated, Hashirama must have been as well."

"Now that the rain has stopped and morning, I have a better look at everything but…" Thought the child as he was held by the man who found him yesterday, walking on a wooden bridge that was quite high up in the air.

"I've never seen anything like it, the trees are taller than any I've seen in my life before…meaning this is some other continent or in fact not my world." The baby put up a frowning expression, the sight causing nearby women to respond, even if he couldn't understand them the reincarnated Uchiha already knew they thought he looked adorable with the pouting expression.

"I still don't know if this is my world or not but in the end, all I can do is adjust with the first thing being to deal with the language barrier." As he thought that, he looked down below at the countless tribe members, so far only seeing two types. One's with cat features and others with dog features.

"Definitely more animalistic features than any clans I've seen in my previous life." His gaze shifts to the countless tree homes that were all around them, more lined on the trees.

"Why have homes on the trees? Is this some kinda tactical move or perhaps something to do with the weather?" As he thought that, it didn't take them long to arrive at a home, larger, much larger than the rest they'd seen where he saw an older man currently sitting down, next to him a vase that he was holding and pouring into a glass. The two exchange some words while Madara found himself being placed on the floor while the adults talk.

"The two are talking about me but I still can't understand what their—"

(Wow, you must've been through a lot from what your memories told me.)

The child's eyes widen as he looks around, caught off guard by the sudden voice in his head. Which the response catches the two men's attention, both looking at the child puzzled to see he was looking around before the younger of the two turns towards the entrance, hearing something approaching with the sound having a 'click' to it.

"Who are you?" As Madara thought that question, his attention also turns to the entrance where they were greeted by the sight of a beast. It was about less than a meter tall, on all fours, has white fur all over its body, and had a red marking on its forehead. The sight just shocks the two men who watched it approach the child.

(Let's just say, I'm gonna be your best friend.)

The beast licks his cheek much to his surprise.

"Arf."

"…."

(Don't be like that!)

The beast began to roll around Madara as it whined, leaving Beastmen flabbergasted as they look at each other before back at the child who was staring down at the beast who rolled over and was staring up at him with its tongue out.

(Sooooooooo)

"You're just gonna keep asking me until I say yes, aren't you?"

(See, you already know me so well!)

The beast sat up, staring at Madara with a still wide mouth and all the child could do was stare blankly at the questionable beast, not even bothering to understand what was even happening, and just pats the beast atop its head, much to its enjoyment.

"What's your name, dog?"

(Leo, and I'm not a dog! I am a Sacred Beast! Also, I would ask you your name but you don't know it yet so I'll tell you! He calls you, Gādian!)

"Gādian, huh…" Madara continues to pat the beast that barks at him with happiness.

[I am Gādian Dedoldia and this is the story of how I redeemed myself.]
