Mario and MLP Tales of Two Worlds
Chapter 1-Princess Problems
It was beautiful day in the Mushroom Kingdom, as the townsfolk were enjoy themselves as they cheered for their Princess, Peach.
"All hail the great Princess Peach!" The people cheered. The Princess was happy as she gaze the beautiful blue sky.
"Ah, such a beautiful day, '' She said.
Then Toadsworth enter the throne room.
"Princess, I trust that everything is ready for today?" He asked.
"Of course, preparations are almost complete."
…
Meanwhile in the World of Equestria… Princess Twilight Sparkle and her friends getting for their arrival.
"Okay girls, This is the first time that the Mushroom Kingdom and Equestria will meet for the first time in pony history." Twilight said franticly as she started to pace
"Relax Twilight we'll know that the ceremony must go without any hitch." Said Rainbow Dash.
"This must be a dream to visit another princesses and their design! Somepony Pinch Me!" Said an Excited Rarity.
"OHH I bet they all have lot of desserts and sweets that me make have a sugar crashed!" Said Pinkie Pie as she was stuff her face with pie.
Then a guard pony came to them.
"Is everything ready you highness?" He asked Twilight.
"Yes everything is ready." She replied.
As Twilight Sparkle and the others meet up with Celestia, Luna and Candance . We head back to Mushroom World into dark valleys full of lava and bane, there lived the tyrannical and fearsome Koopa King, Bowser.
"So, it has come. The day when the Mushroom Kingdom and Equestria is to be celebrated with joy and wonder. Well, that just makes my stomach twist," he muttered.
"Hey, Papa! You wanna go and cause some mischief?" his son Junior asked.
"I would...if only there was a way to make it work," said Bowser.
He has tried countless times to make Peach his, but it always ended in failure. He thought about it but couldn't come up with an idea.
"This is just hard to think about," he said.
Bowser Jr. then got an idea out of nowhere.
"Ooh! Why don't we wreck the celebration and take Peach and her people while we're at it?" Bowser Jr. suggested.
"That sounds excellent! They will be so hapless that we won't even have to try!" said Bowser.
And so, he summoned his men and his Koopalings to help with their dirty work.
"Koopa Klan! The time has come once again to rise up and take the throne of the Mushroom Kingdom! To arms!" Bowser cried determined.
All the Koopa Klan gathered their weapons and were ready to go.
"Larry! Morton! Wendy! Iggy! Roy! Lemmy! Ludwig! You're with me!" said Bowser Jr.
"Right!" the Koopalings said together.
The march was on.
Heading back to Mushroom Kingdom, The Ponies had arrive and party was in full effect.
The people cheered and were happy to have Peach, Celestia, Luna, Twilight , Daisy, and Candance were hosting the event.
"Such a marvelous sight to behold!" said Toadsworth.
"This is where the party really kicks it up!" said Daisy.
There was not a single soul that regrets this day to celebrate.
"I can't wait to exchange gifts with my two dearest friends," said Peach.
She had two gifts for the Mario Bros., the protectors of the Mushroom Kingdom.
"Looks like someone's waiting for a special someone to show," Celestia teased a bit.
All was going well until Bowser and his air fleet were right above them.
"We have arrived! Now! Fire away!" Bowser ordered.
The Koopa Klan loaded their cannons.
"3...2...1...KABOOM!" a Hammer Bro shouted.
Cannonballs and Bullet Bills were shot out of the cannons and came diving down at the celebration.
"What's that sound?" Asked Fluttershy who was startled.
"Maybe it is fireworks." Said Pinkie.
"Not quite. "LOOK!" Daisy shouted.
Everyone saw the fire and got down to avoid the blasts. They were of tremendous power.
"Wow! Bowser has come to ruin the festivities!" said Peach.
"What else is new?" Daisy wondered.
Suddenly, someone grabbed one of the princesses out of thin air.
"We got her!" said Larry.
"Pull her up!" Bowser Jr. ordered.
The Koopalings took the princess and went back to the airship.
"This is most dreadful! We need the Mario Bros!" said Toadsworth.
At the home of the famous Mario Bros, there was a telephone ringing in their living room. Mario answered it.
"Hello? You don't say. Koopa Klan attacking the most important event of the year? And the princess has been captured? Sounds serious!" said Mario.
He got the word.
"Right! We'll be right there!" said Mario. He hung up and said to his brother,
"Come on, Luigi! It's time for us to do what we do best!"
"Coming, bro!" said Luigi.
They were set to go and stepped out the door in all their glory. The Mario Bros made their debut in this new series and were off to stop Bowser from ruining the event.
"Let's go!" said Mario.
He and Luigi headed down the Warp Pipe that would take them right to it. Soon enough, they arrived at the pandemonium of the celebration to see if there was anything they could do.
"We're here, Toadsworth!" said Mario.
"What happened?" Luigi asked.
"Oh, the most dreadful thing has happened! Bowser ruined our wondrous celebration with the citizens of Equestria and kidnapped around beloved princess!" Toadsworth explained.
"No he didn't. I'm right here," said a familiar voices
It revealed that Peach and Daisy was just fine.
"Princess Peach? Princess Daisy " the men gasped.
"Who else?" Peach asked.
"Wait a minute...if you guys here..." Mario started.
"...then who did the Koopas take?" Luigi wondered. In the airship, Bowser was about to see the princess he nabbed.
"Well done, Klan! You pulled it off much more easily than I thought," Bowser figured.
"Thanks, Papa!" said Bowser Jr.
"Now, here she is!" said Morton.
"Say hello to Princess Peach!" said Ludwig.
They let the princess of the sack they had her in and revealed someone else.
"YOU DUMMIES! THAT'S NOT PEACH!" Bowser roared.
The Koopalings looked to see they abducted someone else.
The Koopalings looked to see they abducted Celestia.
"We got the wrong one," said Iggy.
"Clearly," said Lemmy.
"How could you mistake the beautiful Princess Peach for that?" Bowser asked.
"Hey! Are you saying I'm not beautiful? Celestia responded.
"No matter. Perhaps we can figure something out with this," said Bowser.
The ponies were panicked that Celestia was in the hands of Bowser.
"No need to worry everyone me and Luigi will do we can to save her." Mario said trying to calm them down.
"Then let's get a move on." Said Rainbow Dash.
"I reckon she right there no what that slimy toad will do to her." Applejack joined in.
In puff of smoke two Bowser's commanders appeared and they revealed to Frosthound and Jade.
"Lose something." Jade asked them.
"Hand her over this instant." said Luna.
"Never! But maybe we could settle on a trade." Frosthound said.
"What would that be?" Mario asked.
"Celestia for Peach!" He answered.
"No! Never!" Peach refused.
"Okay, we'll just take the alicorn and be on our way then," said Jade.
Both the Commander of Ice and Shadow disappeared.
Later on Bowser's Doomship. The Princess of the Sun was trap in anti- magic that was built by Ludwig.
"You really think they'll wanna trade me for Peach? They wouldn't do something like that!" Celestia insisted.
"Well, you do raise an argument there. No matter. If we must destroy the Mario Bros to get to Peach, so be it!" said Bowser.
The Mario Bros along with the Mane Six chased after the airships.
"That thing is so high up! We'd need to a way up there. Said Luigi.
"That thing is so high up! We'd need a way to fly up there!" said Luigi.
"Fly, you say?" Mario asked.
He ran to a ? block and knocked out a couple of Propeller Mushrooms.
"This is the only way to fly, bro!" said Mario.
They donned the Propeller Mushrooms and flew for the airship all the while spinning around in the air.
"We'll be there in no time!" said Mario.
Meanwhile Burnout Commander of Fire and Malware Commander of Steel were guarding the alicorn.
"Do you think that those pesky plumbers will catch and fly away with that?' Burnout asked.
"I heard that!" Celestia growled.
"She's a feisty pony!" said Malware.
"Papa said that we just have to keep her well-guarded until we get to the castle," said Bowser Jr.
Of course, not all was peaceful on the airship. As soon as it seemed all was peaceful and quiet, there was a loud thump on the deck.
"What the heck was that?" Lemmy asked.
"We'd better go and check!" said Ludwig.
They grabbed their wands and weapons were being careful as to what could be up there. To their astonishment, they saw the Mario Bros have made it onto the deck in their Propeller forms.
"What are you doing here?" Bowser Jr. asked.
"We came for Celestia!" Mario said.
"Hand her over!' Luigi demanded.
"Not in million years!' said Burnout.
"Then I guess you leave us no choice," said Mario.
This led to a battle royal.
Bowser's general Obsidian and Decibel Commander of Sound, and the Koopa King himself hear all the commotion going on up on the deck.
"What's with all the racket?" he wondered.
"No need worry, I'll check it out." Said Decibel.
Larry was going up first against the Mario Bros. He took out his wand and waved it around shooting magic beams.
"You can't dodge this!" he told them.
But he was wrong on so many levels as they were able to avoid it all.
"Stupid wand!" Larry complained.
Mario and Luigi stomped on his head and knocked him aside.
"One down, a bunch to go!" said Mario.
Roy was up next. He stomped the floor flat and jumped into a warp pipe.
"Where'd he go?" Luigi wondered.
Roy came out and was about to lunge at them.
"Here he comes!" said Mario.
They moved out of the way, and he crashed onto the deck.
"That's fighting dirty!" Roy figured.
"You're the dirty ones!" said Luigi.
He and Mario hit him hard and knocked him to the side with Larry.
"We were better off just guarding Celestia" Larry felt.
"Now I'm up!" said Lemmy. He was rolling on his ball making a lot of duplicates of it. He threw them at Mario and Luigi trying to knock them off the ship.
"This is so much fun I can't stand it!" Lemmy laughed.
Mario and Luigi kicked the balls back at Lemmy and knocked him off his ball.
"Is he all right?" Iggy asked.
"He ought to be," said Ludwig.
Then Decibel showed up.
"WHAT'S GOING ON HERE?!" he thundered.
We were just taking care of some unwanted guests," Jr. answered.
"Well, you're doing it all wrong. If you want to get rid of unwanted guests, you have to show them the door, like so!" He scolded as armed his Sonic Cannon and burst of sound knocking them off the ship and getting rid of their Propeller Power.
"That takes care of them," Decibel said
"Great. Now, back to our abduction!" said Bowser Jr.
Mario and Luigi screamed as they fell off and thankfully Twilight used her magic to bring them to safety.
"Thanks Twilight for the soft landing." Said Mario.
But naturally it was not well as they landed Lakitu territory.
"You were saying?" Luigi asked.
"RUN FOR IT!" Mario cried.
He and Luigi , the Mane Six ran for their lives with the Lakitus throwing Spinies at them. The Lakitus chased them s all throughout different parts of the Mushroom Kingdom in a little game to catch them with their Spinies. But they couldn't keep up with the bros.
"They're very slippery," said one Lakitu.
"That's true. It's hard to keep up with them at this pace," said the other Lakitu.
Mario and Luigi couldn't keep going with them being chased like that.
"We'd better think of a way to get rid of them!" said Mario.
"Leave to it me!" Rainbow said as she took off finding something of this situation. She then came a couple of ? blocks and punched them. There were two Fire Flowers.
"These will do very well," Rainbow said. " Hey guys think fast!" She threw the fire flowers at them They took the Fire Flowers and became their Fire forms. They were ready to do battle with the Lakitus now.
"There they are!" said the first Lakitu. He threw a Spiny at them and the Spiny was closing in on them.
"Up we go!" said Mario.
They jumped on different platforms and hit the Lakitus with some fireballs.
"Our clouds!" the Lakitus gasped.
Mario and Luigi took them and flew off.
"Thanks for the ride!" Luigi thanked.
"Don't mention it..." the second Lakitu sighed.
Meanwhile, the Koopa Klan had returned to the castle with Celestia in towed.
"Well, we may not have gotten Peach, but she seems to be the perfect bait to lure the Mario Bros. here," said Bowser.
"You won't get away with it!" Celestia told him.
"How do you know that? Today is the day!" Bowser responded.
"We just have to make sure they don't intervene," said Bowser Jr.
They were going to get ready for the Mario Bros' arrival. If there was one thing about them they know, it's their experience with the Mario Bros.
"In fact, I think I see them nearby," Larry pointed out.
They saw them flying by on the Lakitu clouds.
"There it is! Bowser's Castle!" said Mario.
"We'd better land before..." Luigi started just as the clouds disappeared, "...the clouds give out."
They fell and landed a little far from the entrance.
"We'd better get moving," said Mario.
After a long and grueling run through the valley, Mario and Luigi, and The Mane 6 made to Bowser Castle.
"There it is everyone." Twilight Sparkle said.
"Celestia's just waiting for us." said Luigi.
They were looking around to see if they could find a way it. The drawbridge suddenly dropped down.
"That seems awfully nice of them," said Luigi.
"A little too nice..." Mario thought suspiciously.
They entered the castle and were sure to face some deadly obstacles in their path.
"We'd better be careful. You never know what Bowser could be up to," Rainbow warning them.
Then happened across a fork in the way/ Wasting No time Mario and Luigi went left while the Mane 6 right.
Through the halls they went avoiding Thwomps, Podoboos, lava pits, spike pillars, and all sorts of other obstacles till they got to a big room.
The room wasn't vacant at all. There was someone waiting for them.
"You made it into the castle!" said a gruff voice.
"How lucky for you!" said a feminine voice.
Down came the two muscles of Bowser's army: Boom Boom and Pom Pom.
"If you want to face the king himself, you must pass the trials that await you!" said Pom Pom.
"Aw, no fair! I was supposed to say that!" Boom Boom griped.
"Enough small talk! Just get to the fight!" said Pom Pom.
The two surrounded Mario and Luigi with their maneuvers. Boom Boom spun around with his fists in a mighty whirlwind, and Pom Pom skipped around while tossing boomerangs at the two brothers.
"They're coming at us at all sides!" Mario exclaimed.
A boomerang smacked them both and their lost their fire power.
"So much for fire power. We'll have to just go ahead and do it the old-fashioned way," said Luigi.
They jumped around to avoid the attacks. Boom Boom got pretty dizzy from all of that and Pom Pom waited for her boomerangs. Mario got Boom Boom and Luigi got Pom Pom. They retreated into their shells trying to crush them. Boom Boom was on the ground while Pom Pom was in the air. They avoided the shells and even had them collide with each other.
"Watch where you're going you big oaf!" Pom Pom scolded.
"ME?! You're the one who was in the air!" Boom Boom retorted.
"Now's our chance!" said Mario.
He and Luigi finished them off as they bickered.
"Maybe we should have worked together," said Boom Boom.
"Oh, shut up," Pom Pom responded.
The first trial was complete.
"Onto the next trial," said Mario.
The Koopalings were laying in wait.
"Here they come," said Ludwig.
"Let's get them!" said Iggy.
Mario and Luigi came to a large arena area.
"Now where are we?" Mario wondered.
"Hello, and welcome to your grave!" said Bowser Jr.
The Koopalings who were yet to be defeated arrived and were ready to take them on.
"You!" Mario exclaimed.
"Yes, us!" said Wendy.
"You ready to meet your fate?" Ludwig asked.
"Not as ready as you'd expect," said Luigi.
They got on with the fight. Wendy waved her wand and threw some magical rings at Mario and Luigi. It got a grip on them and squeezed them tight. But they were still able to jump.
"Don't think you can put the squeeze on us!" said Mario.
They jumped on Wendy and she was knocked aside.
"So much for her," said Morton.
Mario and Luigi broke free of the ring.
"Come on! Show me what you got!" said Iggy. He and the Mario Bros were on a tilting platform over lava.
"First one off loses!" Iggy snickered.
They were tilting back and forth here.
"Gotta stay balanced," said Mario.
The balancing act that they were a part of went on for a while until Iggy was moving around and losing his balance.
"Oh boy," he said. Luigi jumped on him and knocked him into the lava, making him bounce around.
"OH, THAT HURTS!" he screamed.
"We're up!" said Morton and Ludwig doing a double team attack. Morton ran up the walls and Ludwig was flutter kicking in the air.
"Think you can last here?" Ludwig asked.
Morton came tumbling down and stomped the floor, paralyzing Mario and Luigi. Ludwig fired some blue magic shots at them. They took a few hits but came back for more.
"They're tougher than we thought," said Morton.
The Mario Bros ran off and got some Tanooki Suits and became Tanooki Mario and Kitsune Luigi.
"Now, it's our turn to flutter!" said Luigi.
They wall kicked and fluttered into the air hitting Morton and Ludwig right where it hurt and knocked them out.
"That does it for them," said Luigi.
"Now there's just one thing left to do," said Mario. "And Let us Hope that the Twilight and the get here soon."
Bowser and his son Jr., along with Obsidian were waiting on the roof with Celestia.
"I think they're coming, papa," said Jr.
"Then let's give them the grandest welcome of their lives," said Bowser.
They hopped into their clown cars, and Obsidian readied his Breaker Blaster. ready to finish the Mario Bros off. Mario and Luigi made it to the roof.
"Where's Bowser?" Luigi asked.
The sound of a propeller came out of nowhere. It was Bowser and Jr. flying into the scene.
"You'll never see her again unless you give me Peach!" said Bowser.
"We don't have her with us! So you can forget it!" said Mario.
"Oh, I knew you were gonna say that," said Bowser.
"Then that just makes it the hard way!" Jr. added.
They set up an electric force field around the roof.
"There! Now we're really gonna make this interesting!" said Jr.
"Goodbye, Mario Bros.!" Bowser exclaimed.
The battle began with the Koopa duo flying around with Mario and Luigi waiting for the right moment. Jr. threw a few Bob-ombs at them. They kicked them until they couldn't move around.
"Better you than us!" said the Mario Bros. They threw them at Bowser Jr. who took a direct hit.
"Ow!" he yelped.
"Nobody does that to my son!" Bowser roared.
He zoomed down at Mario and Luigi and breathed fire at them. They ducked down just before it could make contact. Bowser threw out some Mecha-Koopas, the ones that could breathe fire as well, and they roasted Luigi's tail on his Kitsune suit and turned him back to normal.
"I'm toast!" he gasped.
Mario jumped on them and tossed them back at Bowser.
"Ow!" Bowser roared.
"Right in the face!" said Mario.
Bowser was furious at them. So was Jr. Bowser started dropping a Big Steely or two on the ground which rolled at them.
"Sure looks familiar," said Mario.
Bowser Jr. dropped a few more Bob-ombs.
"Let's see how you like going out with a bang!" he told them.
"We don't think that'll happen!" said Luigi.
He kicked the Bob-ombs and threw them at Jr., who got flung into the electric fence of the field and made him drop.
"Papa! I'm all done!" Jr. whined.
"That just leaves me then!" said Bowser.
He dropped another Big Steely and more Mecha-Koopas at the Bros. They hit Bowser with the Mecha-Koopas, and he got mad. He started making his Clown Car bounce around like crazy while it was showing its furious eyes. He breathed fire at burned Mario and got rid of his Tanooki suit.
"Now, you're hapless!" Bowser roared.
Just as Bowser and Obsidian prepared to finish them off a blast of confetti took out both of them.
"What was that?!" Bowser said while he was trying to back on feet.
"That was me silly!" A familiar turned out to be Pinkie Pie who had her Party Canon.
"And that's not all!" Rainbow Dash came in flying down and the others arrived.
"Thanks, the stars you made it time!" said Mario.
"Sorry for the Delay we had deal with Black Thorn for a while." Said Applejack. "Let us handle them."
"You really that I'm scared of couple of Horses." Bower smirked.
"First of all were ponies and Second it would wise to simply hand Celestia. No, seriously my mascara is started to melt." As Rarity eyeliner started melting.
"Never, Twinkle Toes!" As Obsidian fired his Break Blasters at the white unicorn but Twilight raise a shield that cause the beam to reflected at them and straight into electric grid.
"That...was not how I planned it..." he said.
The fence was gone and Celestia had her magic back she flew down toward the mares and the bros.
"Are you okay, Celestia?" Twilight asked.
"I'm okay thanks to our new friends." said the Alicorn
"Can we please get out here." said Fluttershy.
"One last thing..." said Celestia
She gave a cold stare at Bowser while charging her horn.
"YOU RUINED OUR FESTIVITIES, INVADED MY KINGDOM, AND ABDUCTED ME! FOR THAT, YOU'RE GONNA PAY!" she yelled.
"Wait! We can work this out!" Bowser begged.
But she wouldn't listen. She fired a blast of magic at him.
"That felt good." she said.
Mario and Luigi were impressed.
"So...shall we go?" Luigi asked.
Using their magic Twilight, Rarity, and Princess Celestia teleported everyone out of the Castle.
"Wow...what happened?" Larry wondered a little dazed.
"Never mind that. Let's just get Pops back on his feet," said Jr.
The Koopalings and the Commanders got Bowser in an upright position.
"I never thought I'd go through something like that," said Bowser.
Just then, they all fell through the roof of their castle, which tumbled down.
"I'm starting to hate my life," Bowser stated under all that rubble.
Back in Mushroom Kingdom Mario Bros and Mane Six had returned with Celestia safe and sound.
"It's good to see everyone again." Celestia said.
"It must have been quite the adventure," said Toadsworth.
"Oh, it was, trust us," said Luigi.
"Now, what about the celebration? Bowser ruined it," Daisy said.
"No, I think we can still have it," said Peach.
"That sounds fair to me!" said Mario.
"Then let's get this party started!" As Pinkie Pie fire her confetti cannon.
And so, they all had a great time celebrating the peace of the Mushroom Kingdom and Equestria. Everyone was ready to exchange gifts with one another.
"Come and exchange gifts, everybody!" said Toadsworth.
They were all doing just that.
"Here is a gift for you, Mario. And one for you, Luigi," said Peach.
She gave them their gifts and inside they got some nice photos of some good times with Peach.
"How thoughtful, Peach," said Luigi.
"We don't know what to say," said Mario.
"How about you say they should give you something in return?" Daisy suggested.
"Well, we might have something," said Luigi.
They grabbed a couple of boxes and quickly wrapped something up.
"Here you go!" they said.
"What did you get me?" she asked. She opened them up and saw a Tanooki Suit and Kitsune one.
"Oh...how thoughtful," said a surprised Peach.
"I'll take one of those," said Daisy. She took the Kitsune one.
…
Meanwhile...
"So, do want to dance? " Asked Flash Sentry.
"Uh, sure I'm up for it." Twilight blushed red for a minute.
And thus, both worlds enjoyed the celebration as there more adventures to follow.
